Enterprise Rent-A-Car in other cities:
The staff seemed to be really proactive serving me with the best car. They r always perfect in there standards. I have always loved there cars. enterprise is the best serving location, since anything happenes and u call they respond quickly. Sometimes they end up with free upgrade.
Horrible experience, terrible customer service rude employees, I got a rental back in January and had it ever since paying out of pocket, I had constant issues with the cars they gave me, these cars cant be road worthy at all. Absolutely terrible terrible experience all together, not just this location but enterprise as a whole is Terrible. They usually are my go to place to rent cars but after this time I Wont go back. They did me so dirty
I did an online reservation and once I got there, things were great. I was greeted, given a choice of vehicles, and was told if I needed to extend the time, simply call. I was shocked to find that I had to pay a 300 dollar deposit. However, once I turned the car in, it was refunded and in my bank account the very next day. Thank You to the wonderful staff at the Cincinnati, Colerain Ave. location.
6/11/21. 1:00amHorrible! Horrible! Horrible experience! From the start. Car was dirty, hadn’t been clean yet and I had to wait 30 minutes until “they cleaned it” the back seat is stained and smell of urine. The gas mileage had 40 miles to empty. This was a rental reservation for 2 weeks. This is all they had is what I was told. I’m taking the rental back first thing in the morning. Now………………I’ve been waiting for the Enterprise Roadside Service for 3 hours. I continue to call and I’m put on hold. Then they claim that they DONT HAVE ANY AAA drivers available! Wow! Just wow!Unbelievable.. I’m supposed to sit in the parking lot at Kroger 10p at night? I’m leaving the car in the parking lot of Kroger. I hope that the car isn’t towed away, but I’m not SAFE IN THE PARKING LOT BY MYSELF!!This will be MY LAST TIME RENTING WITH ENTERPRISE!!!
We needed a mini van last minute for an out of town funeral. My wife called all over town with no luck. She finally called the colerain location and Trey found a van and had it ready in a few short hours. Conner had us checked in quickly and we were on our way. These two team members and the manager should be recognized by your company. I have used this location before and it was not pleasant at all. You have renewed our confidence in Enterprise.
Enterprise had always been my go-to car rental place. But this past rental experience was the worst Ive ever had with them and has me thinking if I should start shopping around for other car rental places. Customer service has gone down the toilet, at pickup the workers were all engaged in their personal conversations and audibly complaining and making snarky comments about customers as they see them drive up to pick up or drop off vehicles (not good)The girl that waited on me spoke so fast, I was getting dizzy from all her verbal spillage. I couldnt absorb the information fast enough. (Slow down sister)The car though non-smoking stank like smoke and had an empty tank, on E at pick up. What is that about? Also, I probably got second-hand smoker lungs for those 3, 4 days I had the car.Dropping the car off I go there 5 min before they closed, my drop-off time, popped my head in to let the same girl know that I was there just transferring my stuff to my car. She snapped says, well you got 5 minutes, we all have to leave at closing and no one is going to be waiting around. Hmmm, ok!! Well transferred my stuff and drove back to the front, and they had already locked the door. 😒 Knocked on the, she pokes her head out like she just came out of the shower, snatches the keys and says, again in her 1000 words per second speed receipt in the mail ok? aha, hmm, ok, bye now! Slams door in the face. The only thing I was thankful about is that she didnt charge me the extra $300 they were holding for that last 5-minutes kerfuffle. You are welcome, the gas tank is still 1/4 tank full. I might have to go back to the Sharonville location, customer service was excellent there. I usually dont give reviews, but hey you guys emailed me and insisted on it. So here it is.
Awful experience. (1) Didnt pick me up from an auto body shop - even though I made a reservation 3 weeks prior. (2) Said they would call me back and bring a car to my office - and didnt (3) I called later in the afternoon and was on hold for 45 minutes (4) when I finally talked to someone, I was informed that I would need to pay more since they sold out of the car I reserved (5) talked to manager and it didnt seem to make a difference
Outstanding customer service. I am rented a car due to mine being in the shop from an accident. I was unaware that I would need to still put down around $150 for the rental. I thought my insurance would automatically cover all the costs. Long story short they waved the down payment completely and let me us the vehicle that day. They changed my card next day and really saved my butt. Lol Enterprise is awesome I have rented from them for years and always had a great experience.
I told the individual when I picked the car up that I was renting it until Tuesday because Monday was labor day and they were not open. I told him there was a chance I was going to need to keep it a couple days extra pending repairs on my vehicle and he said no problem to just call.I tried to call the Colerain location multiple times but could not reach anyone. I called the customer service line and they said they would send an email to them to let them know my intention to return the car Tuesday. On that wednesday someone called from the Colerain location and when I called them back they said my insurance was cancelled!! I have no idea whay they were talking about, i did not even get the insurance. After waiting on hold for a while a young lady got on the phone and said sorry for the confusion and I would only be charged $24 dollars for the additional days.I found out my credit card was charged about $460 dollars. Called back and they said it was a deposit and it would come off and it did not.Short story, I will be giving my business to someone else.
I really enjoy renting from Enterprise. I usually have a great experience so I tend to chose them any time that I rent. I ran into a snag this last time. I was told by a phone representative and someone in the office that I had unlimited miles on the vehicle that I rented. When I got back, I was charged for additional miles. I then called the office and spoke to someone who was supposed to check into the charges and call me back. I never received a call back. This was very concerning and has caused me to mistrust Enterprise.
We always enjoy the staff and experience with our local enterprise. This most recent experience was with Ryan, who went out of his way to check the van we were renting for charging ports for us since we had a few teenagers riding with us and, when we realized it wasn’t going to work, quickly found us an SUV that was perfect and exactly what we needed.
Loved our experience with the rental van from Enterprise! Not only was the van a newer model and extremely clean, they met us at the dealership to get signed up and we returned it to the dealership when we picked up our vehicle. My deposit was refunded promptly and the persons working there were professional and very easy to work with! Top Notch keep it up Enterprise!!
The service at enterprise is normally good, however on this visit it was very poor. I reserved a pickup truck for 8:00am. I arrived at the Colerain Ave location at 8:30am. Once the attendant checked me out and received payment, I had to wait another 25 minutes for the same attendant to physically wash and vacuum the vehicle that should of already been prepped and ready to go at 8:00am.I spoke to an assistant manager and asked him if I could take a vehicle that was already clean and ready to go. He in turn lied to me and stated all the vehicles were reserved. I then spoke with the store manager who had no clue on how to make the situation better. The customer service was very poor from the store manager and assistant manager. The attendant was new and did the best job she could with no leadership. When I returned my rental vehicle later that evening the other vehicles I inquired about taking that were clean and ready to go were still on the parking lot, parked in the same spots which let me know the assistant manager lied to me.Again, Enterprise is normally very good with great customer service but the Crew and customer service at the Colerain store now is tremendously suffering. Please feel free to contact me if you have any follow up questions.Thank you
This rental car experience was the worst I have ever had. I tried calling the colerain location early the morning I was in need of a vehicle. Their hours stated they should be open, I could not get through on their lines after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes. Contacted the Harrison, Ohio location and was able to arrange a vehicle there, out of my way but at least I could talk to someone. Arranged for someone to drive me to pick up the vehicle and called ahead to let them know I was coming. Showed up and the door was locked. Waited for 40 minutes for someone to show up to give me keys for the vehicle, only to have the lady tell me she had to pick up this van from the Colerain location. I get in the van and the gas tank is on empty and the entire van smelled strongly of smoke. I have two very young children and was not happy with this but only planned to have this vehicle for a short time so I was willing to overlook this. The next day I was able to return the vehicle. Thought everything was fine and returned the vehicle to the colerain location as it is right next door to the dealership where my vehicle was being repaired. Dropped the keys in the drop box outside to avoid contact since I have very small children as stated before. Received a call this morning (two days later) that they can not find the keys. I tried to call to tell them they are in the drop box outside, waited on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Still have not been able to reach anyone. Ridiculous!
Due to an accident, my insurance company reserved a car reservation for me on Friday. I was not able to get there on Saturday. Received voice mail on Saturday advising me that a car was reserved. Received another call on Monday about car. I advised I would pick the car up today. I was not given a pickup time. I get there at 330pm. They ask for my insuance, license & credit card and then advised me they wont have a car until 5pm. Wanted me to come back at 5pm.
I rented a Chrysler Pacifica with only 5k miles on it to drive to Florida and back. It was the best experience. I had no issues what so ever and it was such a smoothe ride. The workers were amazing and so professional. I will definitely rent from here again in the future.
I’ve never had any issues with them or the Colerain location. They’re super cool. Always make me feel like an important customer. I’ve never had any issues with any vehicle I’ve rented and I’ve personally witnessed them bend over backwards to help someone else.I rent frequently and they’re always professional.
Been with Enterprise for a little bit over 10 years and they are like my family because they always treated me with the best customer service and service. Great prices and A special treat on top. They have a Enterprise membership which helps you accumulate points and you can rent your car out for free or even cheaper.I even purchased my car from Enterprise. You know what they say Stick to what you know and you will most likely never have any Regrets.
My experience was NOT great. I filed a complaint against Coleraine location. My return date to return the vehicle was on 9/5/2020 by 2:00pm which I did. I was directed to the leave the vehicle where it was and put the key in the drop box. I did everything that was required by the young man and on 9/8/2020 I received an invoice stating a different date for return the rental. I call several times to the location to get this matter resolved but still NO reply back. Im not happy at all about the way I was treated and how you just failed to reach out to your customers. As of today all my money has not been returned back to me and no one from the company has called me.
I would not recommend the Colerain location. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an Enterprise. I had an error in my reservation that customer service and the Colerain location werent willing to correct. Josh at Colerain helped me but unfortunately there were errors because the employee checking me out didnt look at the notes Josh put in.Customer Service: I was told by Ashley that it is what it is and that would have to pay a higher rate in order to keep my reservation. She also mentioned that they dont have economy or compact cars so I would have to pay for standard. Horrible customer service.Cleanliness: When we finally got the car after waiting 51 minutes, the car had melted candy in the cup holder, crumbs in the seat and it had been sprayed with bad air freshener. We waited 51 min because we were told the car was being cleaned.Leadership: Colerain managers on site unwilling to help. When the Escalation dept got involved they said all they could do was to send a message to the area manager. The area manager never called me back.
I normally have a very pleasant experience when coming in to rent a vehicle but this time was different. Upon entering the building, I was rudely told by the female employee sitting behind the counter to wait outside. Not a hello, good morning, but you gotta go back outside and wait. Her attitude and interaction with me was very short as if she just wanted to rush me through the rental process. She was also not very accommodating when I requested an upgrade. She became irritated at the fact that she had to change the paperwork around a little. I was not happy with her unprofessional attitude at 9am.
Our experience at this location has always been positive. Employees are always efficient and friendly. They are quick to offer an upgrade at no additional charge when the size car we had reservation for happens to not be available upon our arrival. We are pleased that they are now paperless and send copy of contract, etc. to our email address. One thing that needs attention is the inside of the windows. They need to be cleaned better. Also, not all rentals have the owners manual in them. While the employees are very helpful answering questions we have about the operation of the car, we find having the manual is quite helpful when driving an unfamiliar vehicle. We would also like to CONGRATULATE Jeff and Tevyn on their excellent customer service over the years.
I set a reservation for a car to be picked up at 11:30a. Got there at 11a and stood in line out side until 11:30a. it seemed like only one rep was working to take care of 10 people. It was turn in line and they tell me I dont have a reservation. I showed my confirmation and the rep says oh, you did it today, we dont do same day pick up, you can go to the airport. If thats the case, why receive a confirmation email of a confirmed reservation? Service needs to be worked on at this location.
I had reserved a standard SUV 3 months in advance and when I got there they didnt have the vehicle. They tried to give me a different smaller vehicle that smelled of smoke. I was given a larger SUV and when I got it home the battery died. What should have been a quick up turned into 5 hours before everything was corrected and they brought me another sUV. They did discount my bill on my return a week later after I complained.
Worked with an unpleasant man that preferred to argue and debate with the customer in regards to simple and easily verifiable information. Thankfully a helpful lady showed up and reiterated what was being told to the man. The rental had expired tags so I was afraid to drive it freely. When brought to attention another man I spoke with did not seem to care and offered no kind of apology but told me I could return early without being charged extra. I was happy to be done with dealing with them.
Placed my car reservation online and called the branch for a pick up. The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and super helpful. Fast forward to getting the car they were crazy busy and I had a bit of a wait, but the young lady was very nice and apologized for everything and got me in a car as quickly as she could! I would highly recommend them for any car rentals.
Called the day before my reservation pick up to confirm they had my vehicle. I was told yes, they had it and it was ready. I get there to pick it up around 1pm (they close at 2) and was told they had been expecting 2 similar cars to be returned after hours the day before and they were not, therefore they did not have my reserved vehicle and tried to convince me to take something else. I had made the reservation over a month prior and only after I had to basically demand they get the vehicle I had reserved and was told the day prior they had for me they finally decided to make things right and get said vehicle. They did end up getting the type of car I had reserved but he customer service was horrible. Upon returning the car I had to wait while numerous employees were just sitting around. The staff at this location is not at all customer oriented. The only benefit and plus this location has is their closing hours are later than other locations, but Id rather pay for an extra day than go back to this location.
We had some concerns regarding the car we rented, it was not properly cleaned. However, the associate was very quick to attend to our complaint. She apologized and quickly exchange the car even to a higher grade at no charge. The Colerain avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio branch manager was very cautious and pleasant to us. I will continue to rent from Enterprise.
I usually go to enterprise for car rental and many times the companies I work for also use enterprise.. Additionally I usually go to the same location for the rental..2020. has been a challenging year for businesses and general public..Sales persons/rental agents are usually cordial and professional. At enterprise customers wait outside under a open tent canopy for rental service.Staff down to one or two sales persons. No pick you up or drop you off service available. My last renal car rental even though it drove great ..it had two substantial dents on trunk and left passenger door (I didnt notice this on the pre rental check, since they use some kind of magic car wash cleaner I guess)Just remember to check car thourghly yourself ..One other issue was I tried calling several times regarding extension and no one ever answered. Not even the other extension and not even road side assistance extension.. I had questions .. come to find out their phone system was down and being repaired..Anyways it was a decent customer service / rental experience .Thanks
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had with any type of company. Car promised but then not available; on hold for 30 minutes during one call and more than an hour on another; option added that I didn’t request; gas tank recorded as 3/4 full when I picked up the car even though it was closer to 1/2 full (and I was told it would be recorded as 1/2 full); other issues too tedious to go into.
I rented a car for a quick weekend trip for a sports tournament. I was in and out so fast to pick up the car, that I still had time for other things. The staff was friendly and very personable from the time I entered the door. I like that they addressed me by name at pick up and drop off, and emailed me the receipt so that I could compare the final bills. Keep up the good work. Great Service goes a LONG WAY-trust me :)
I returned two vehicles here and both times they made it really easy. The second time I was in a rush as I had to be somewhere before they closed and the representative helped me to get in and out rather quickly. I really appreciate when representatives do their best to accommodate my schedule even if its not their fault(because obviously running late is on me).
Great experience. The people here really do treat you like family. They will take care of you and then some. Its so refreshing to experience great customer service. They even worked with my insurance company when they were being...well...an insurance company lol. I will only go here with any of my rental car needs.
EXTREMELY unprofessional!! I was on hold for 30 minutes, only to show up to the office and witness employees playing golf. On one occasion, an employee had her child behind the desk, verbally assaulting the customers. I go in today only to be verbally attacked by an employee while holding my two year old daughter in my arms. Fortunately, I was able to record the incident, I was insulted for three minutes, called nappy headed amongst many other embarrassing terms. At one point I had to pick my child up due to believing that the employee was going to physically attack me. I will continue to utilize the Fairfield location, be it that I do not feel safe, this was the WORST experience of my life dealing with Enterprise. The positive is that the branch manager seems to be on top of things, I just feel as though he may be intimidated by his employees as well.
Excellent Customer Service, quick and easy rental, convenient location, good variety and a clean office area. I felt very welcome the moment I walked into Enterprise. It took less than 10 minutes to complete my transaction and I was driving away. The store manager walked by making sure everything was going good and I appreciated her courtesy. Thank you for a perfect experience and providing a quality rental van for my vacation!
Outstanding Staff: Wait time may be a bit longer than some car rental places, including other Enterprises, but this seems to be because this location is a busy one. Regardless, the staff hustle to get everyone taken care of as soon as they are able and are both friendly and helpful.
I had a horrible experience with the Enterprise on Colerain Ave. I have used Enterprise tons of time and it has always been great but this was the experience from Hell!!! I reserved a car 2 weeks in advance. I got there and filled out all of my paperwork and it was going well. They said that there were no cars available on the lot at that time but some more were on the way from the airport and should be there very soon. It took 1.5 hours to get me in a car. It was on my lunch hour so I was late returning to work. I asked if someone could drop my off at work because I had someone drop me off to get my rental for the weekend. They said there was no one available to take me at the time. During the first 30-45 of waiting I was not too upset but after an hour I was livid. I was still hearing the same story that cars were on the way. The sales people were trying to be nice; they explained to me that they were being told that cars were on the way but after all that time my patience had worn thin. And after I finally got the car, the car had a few problems. When I rent again, I will never use Enterprise on Colerain again.
Our time to be waited on was a little lengthy. True they did have to gas the car and she decided it needed a car wash, which would have been fine but we were on our way out of town so this delayed us. We should have been asked about our time constraints. But the overall customer service was great once we got waited on and we loved the Chrysler 200.
If I could give zero or negative stars, I would! We reserved a minivan in April to be picked up this past Saturday. We arrived at 9 am to pick it up and were told by Jeff, the manager, that there were no minivans! We were so angry and disappointed! Our departure was delayed and we had to make other transportation arrangements! Do not depend on Enterprise! Their business practices are dishonest and shady!
Sorry Chris R is was Colerain Enterprise not Bridgetown. I did have an high detailing cost which I am sending letter to CFO after speaking to Ohio Attorney General office as predatory knowing the average cost of detailing. However the two Enterprise staff/ employees I dealt with have excellent customer service skills.Recently, I had the misfortune of having an incident with my automobile where the dealer made horrendous mistakes causing me to have the need of a rental vehicle. Enterprise has been my preferred car rental as I have longed believed in supporting family owned businesses and also due as a preferred supplier (travel) with Enterprise which was founded by Jack Taylor a Vancouver Entrepreneur. have a long history with Enterprise dating back to late 80s as former stakeholder in the travel company Uniglobe Travel which was also founded by a Vancouver Entrepreneur Gary Charlwood back when handshake deals and goodwill was the norm and not the exception.Enterprise Colerain had two exceptional employees who were both courteous and professional. I commend them in their patience and customer engagement skills specifically in these trying times of the new normal. Not wanting to slaughter the spelling of their names I will insert their names at a later time. If you need to rent they are definitely the two to assist you with your rental needs.
The pick up was quick and to the point. Although there were quit a few of unhappy people inside and complaining. I went out to look at the car on the outside it was fine but didnt inspect the inside which was still dirty from the other person prior to me and the car stated no smoking but it smelled like smoke. I took the car because it was late and I needed to get on my road trip. They also need to clean up the Colerain location its filthy. The staff was really nice though.
They never answer their phone. I am trying to extend my rental for another week and I can’t get through. I had the same issue last week, I had to contact a different branch. The last few times that I’ve rented from enterprise, there has been problem after problem. I have spent so much money at enterprise just this year alone, and I feel like it is going downhill. I will be sure to rent from somewhere else in the future.
Chris the manager was the one who waited on me. He was above the expectation that one would expect. He went above an beyond to make sure that our experience would be the best that it could be. If there were more people like chris there would be more satisfied people in the world. Thanks so much for the opportunity to be treated like a king an with much respect. He need to be rewarded for his extreme polite demeanor. May God richly bless the colrain ave Enterprise an also Chris.
My initial experience was great. Everything was opened, honest and to the point as I made reservations on line and did not have any personal contact other than the pick up and return of my vehicle. The very next week I was in ano auto accident in which my insurance set me up with enterprise. Again, service was exceptional. The only contact was the call from them that confirmed reservations. Then came the time to contact face to face and it was all of HORRIBLE!!! And when I asked to have another rep assist me, I was told NO. She was the store manager and no one else could help me. She asked for my card and ID and proceeded to swipe. Before she could swipe, I asked her to wait!! Why are you swiping my card... she thought that I was renting a vehicle for my daughter. When I kept trying to explain, she kept cutting me off insisting that she knew exactly what she was doing. When I said that I thought she may be confused, she said NO, YOURE CONFUSED, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IM DOING... After she figured out what the situation was. She never once apologized, rather blamed everything on another employee and assured the entire office that that employee would be talked to. I felt extremely disrespected and belittled. Had I not been traveling out of town for a same day funeral of my nephew I would have walked out and gone to AVIS... The other employees were more than eager to deliver quality customer service. When I returned and spoke with an assistant manager he humbly apologizedo and offered to rectify the situation. But it was not his fault as he and the rest of the staff was awesome. Other than that, the service was 5 star.
I made a reservation weeks in advance for a full size vehicle. The day of thwork appointment I called ahead and spoke with a representative and told her that I was on my way to pick up my vehicle. I arrived to find out that they gave away my full size vehicle and all they had left was a Jeep Wrangler, which was not clean. I had no choice but to take the vehicle as I had a doctors appointment in another city. I reserved the vehicle is did was for two reasons. The first was that I have a knee issue and need the leg room to avoid causing further pain. The second reason was gas mileage. Needless to say that the Jeep got terrible mileage and required approximately 2.5 times the gas that it normally takes to get where I needed to go. I mentioned that to the assistant manager when I return the car. He took out a business card and scribbled his name and wrote that on my next reservation I would get a free tank of gas. I dont know if it is legitimate but I felt that it was not very professional at all. I typically I have no problem renting from Enterprise but I am not happy this time around. The vehicle I reserved should have been waiting there for me and not given to someone else.
The car was not very clean...my wife used dozens of clorox wipes cleaning the arm rests and inside door panels. She also vacuumed out the back. During her trip a tire kept going low and she had to waste a whole day at a tire store getting it replaced. So much for Roadside Assistance. Was not a good experience.
The service was great once I picked up my car but once I returned the vehicle and received my bill, thats when the issue started. The charges were different than what originally discussed, but apparently no one remembered the discussion but them decided to tell me a lie about something they remembered me saying but I never said it. Was very displeased especially being told they deal with so many customers so they couldnt remember telling me the price but could distinctly remember telling me I needed a larger vehicle, which I never said and then told me they were doing me a favor. Never were they doing me a favor because I could have went to where I normally rent cars and never had an issue with customer service or billing. Was very displeased and WILL NEVER return
Experience was okay. They were all nice and friendly. I made a reserve for a full size car, they said they did not have one there after I made the reservation a week in advance. They wanted to give me a smaller car, I said no. So they give me a Little SUV my main concern was the gas mileage associate assured me it would get over 30 MPG. They split the difference with me on the cost which I agreed to reluctantly. The SUV only got around 20 miles to the gallon. When I returned the vehicle I was told they could only say what was on the screen about MPG and that if I drive a lot of stop and go driving it uses more fuel. I explained I was on The Highway The Whole time. Which still Cost me almost 4 fill ups. When I only put 700 miles total on the vehicle. When I picked it up it only had a 1/4 tank. I am thankful there was no other problems, like some of the other reviews on here but they are kinda shady.
I was going to give this a 2 star review because of the way the pick up was handled but instead it gets a four star, Chris the branch manager was excellent at costumer service listening to the issues and concerns I had and actually made me want to continue to rent cars with them in the future. Thanks again Chris
Ive been there and had a really great experience. Ive also been there and received cars that smelled like marijuana or made a reservation only to be told they were out of cars and stranded without transportation for hours. Its a toss up. Good service is not beyond them if they feel like giving it to you.
Two consecutive reservations failed miserably. They never have the car I reserved and the lack of urgency is staggering. I recommend you find another location or another rental company altogether to rent a car from. I rented from this location 12 times in 2018 - but will never do it again.
I particular like be getting my Rentals from the Colerain location. They always make me feel valued, and considering its a corporate account. I love how everything is always made so easy, vs How the Reading Rd treated me.The previous manager a young lady who was wonderful, I may say was recently within the past six months replaced by a complete disappointment
I took my car into the Jeep dealership on Colerain Ave to get some work done on it that was covered under warranty. Jeep told me that they would provide me a rental car free of charge to use while my car was being worked on. It took 3 calls from the Jeep service department and 30 minutes to get someone to drop a car off at the Jeep dealership. You can see Enterprise across the street from the Jeep dealership so it wasn’t like they had a far drive. Each time they called they said that they were on their way. The Jeep service department was not very happy about it and apologized to me on their behalf. Once the car was dropped off we went over everything pretty quickly. I told the gentleman that I didn’t want anything extra (except for putting gas in the vehicle which I did) and that I had my own insurance and would be using that. After he went through everything I had one question before I initialed and signed everything. That question was “is the Jeep dealership paying for everything” and I was told “yes”. After that he said initial here a few times and sign which I did. What I didn’t realize is that I initialed to accept the optional damage waiver and optional personal accident insurance. At no point in time did he say that I was liable for the charges I was putting my initials by. When I asked my question “is the Jeep dealership paying for everything” they should have been clearer on that then just saying “yes”. The rental agreement is four pages long. Who has time to sit and read it word by word? That is why I asked what I asked and trusted the answer “yes” that Jeep was taking care of all charges for the rental. Now I have a $263.88 bill for it. This bill is just for the optional damage waiver and optional personal accident insurance. I work from home a couple of days a week and really don’t drive much on the weekend so the rental car pretty much just sat at my house for the 12 to 13 days that I had it. I used around 1/8 of a tank of gas while I had it. I would have never initialed to accept both of these if I really knew what I was initialing for. I was told Jeep was covering the charges of the rental so I just initialed and signed where he said too. This was a big mistake. So yesterday I decided to give Enterprise a call once I saw the charge on my credit card. I spoke to the manager explaining to him what happened and he said that he would look into it and give me a call back. Six hours went by with no call back so I decided to give him a call back to follow up with him. I was told that he was outside and that they would have him give me a call back. I didn’t receive a call back at all yesterday and I didn’t receive a call back today. Not even a courtesy call today to say he was still looking into it. To me this is very poor customer service. My next step is to start the dispute process on my credit card.*Update* - I am updating my review and giving 4 stars and will use Enterprise in the future. I spoke with Alyssa today who was very pleasant and is waiving the charges on my credit card. Thanks Alyssa!!
Worst experience and we will NOT go back. We dont have a credit card, so they made us show some sort of bill in order to rent a vehicle from them. Showed multiple kinds of bills and they still were not good enough. We just rented from them a month ago and didnt have nearly this much trouble. Thankfully we found a better car company that was not nearly as much of a hassle. Will NEVER use enterprise again. Very poor experience.
I had a reservation in for a minivan recently, but had to use a Ford Expedition as no minivan was available on the day of pick up. 4 stars instead of 5 as my fuel costs were higher, driving out to western Kansas and back to Cincinnati. Enterprise personnel were great when getting the vehicle and upon return, was fast and easy.
[Edit: The new manager did attempt to contact my boyfriend but we really didnt need a rental car anymore. Giving five stars for the effort. Hopefully hell turn this place around!]I wish I could give zero stars!!Someone smashed my boyfriends bumper but fortunately he has full coverage insurance that also pays for a rental car.... They use Enterprise as you could guess and thats why Im here.I took him to drop off his car to be repaired yesterday which was the day his insurance had scheduled and he was also scheduled to pick up a rental car at this location immediately after. Great! When we got there, he was told that they had no cars available. Keep in mind that this was all scheduled out weeks ago but they acted as if they had no idea what he was talking about even though he had a reservation number. They then tried to say that they tried to call him to make a reservation but he has no voicemail or any record of them trying to call. Besides that, why would they need to call him to make a reservation when he already had one!?The person working the desk told him that they could arrange for someone to come pick him up right at 8:00 the next morning so he could get to work in Kentucky at 9...THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!He tried to call multiple times and each time it was as if someone had picked up the phone and hung it back up after a good 10 or so minute hold.We left the house at about 8:30 and had not heard anything or been able to get ahold of anyone. It is now 10:11 as Im writing this. Still nothing! My boyfriend was late for work today and I had to drop the things I needed to do this morning to pick him up and take him to work and will need to do the same tonight to pick him up. Thank goodness I go to work after him! Since the location wasnt picking up their phone, we called the customer service line but they couldnt do anything but suggest that we call them again. We collectively held for about 45 minutes if you count the times they hung up on us!Funny that we were planning a trip here soon and had planned to use this location for our rental car needs. Not now. Thank goodness I havent made the reservation just yet! I will go elsewhere after this because I have no trust in this location and, frankly, I have no trust in this business as I see that others have had similar complaints going back a couple of years and NOTHING has changed, apparently. This is completely unacceptable! How hard is it to make sure that you have a car available for a reservation? How do you not know how many cars you need? Do you actually operate on a first come first serve basis? What is the point of even having a reservation then!?Since the people at this location arent bothering to answer the phone, I am here writing a review on google because I dont currently have the time to waste going up there. I am curious to see what this company will do to make up for the time and resources that were wasted on our end because of the irresponsibility of this locations staff. We should have had our rental YESTERDAY! We arent going to have it today because I wont be able to pick him up from work until 8:00 (which is after close) meaning he will be stranded at work for two hours when he shouldnt have to be!I AM FURIOUS!(Edit: The entire day has gone by and we still havent heard anything. Our roommate was home all day and no one ever showed up.)
I was happy with the pick up experience for the most part. Not completely happy with the drop off though. The car was return a quarter of an inch below the pick up on the fuel gauge. They charged me $15 for the gas, when I was filling it for $20 all week. Signed a paper saying the refuel price would be 2.20 per gallon and they charged 3.69 per gallon. I couldve put $2 in the tank and raised it above the amount needed. Not a lot of money just the point. Always had good past experiences at other branches.
We needed a rental car while searching for a new vehicle. We originally contracted for a 1-week rental. It took us over a month to find/purchase a car, so I had to modify the rental agreement every week. The rental modification process was very easy and could be done over the phone -- the only time I had to physically go to the Enterprise location was after the 4th week (to basically start a new contract). The reason I am not giving 4-5 stars is due to my experience during the initial rental. Originally, I was given an older Chevy Impala which, even from the outside, looked worn. During the walk-around, the light grey cloth interior appeared dirty; enough so that as soon as I got in the drivers seat, I got right back out. I went back inside to the Enterprise counter and asked if I could get another vehicle, expressing that the vehicle I was given was extremely dirty. They politely obliged but, as I was waiting, I noticed the next gentleman at the rental counter was eventually given the dirty car I had just asked them to replace. That really bothered me.
Rented many cars from here and its always hectic. Had reservations only to show up and there are no cars available. They do their best to be accommodating but this is a common issue. Even if you have a reservation i would suggest calling hours in advance to make sure they have vehicles available.
Their hospitality was wonderful. Everyone greet me with a smile at the same time when I walk through the door. I wish I remember his name but he went over everything with me inside the car so I would not be looking for certain buttons. Will be back soon for another rental
Ive been a customer of Enterprise for many years, but I must say Ive had the best customer experience at the Enterprise on Colerain Avenue in Cincinnati, OH. All of the employees are very professional, friendly, and go out of their way for their customers. One employee, Chris Arrone, really made a positive impression on me, which in return, made me want to keep doing business with Enterprise, especially at this location. He definitely went above-and-beyond for me, and I will be forever grateful!-Jess Copley
I am a corporate client of enterprise and I rent weekly from the location on Colerain Ave. Every time (does not matter time of day), there is always a line even when I was told to call in advance to expedite the process. I wait on average 20 minutes. Everyone in that office is always swamped in which at times reflect in their attitude. They are professional and courteous but they are rushing so their thin patience will show. I encourage Enterprise to reinvent their paper process. In this world of technology, they need their business at this location streamlined to ensure efficiency.
I reserved a Full size SUV to take my family on a road trip. When I arrived they gave me a brand new 2017 Chevy Tahoe with only 23 miles on it. 310 miles later I fell in love with the truck. It is a very nice vehicle and the staff was just excellent when checking in and out. I only use Enterprise when renting.
Im certain everyone experiences customer service is different ways. For me I try and avoid problems by signing up for various clubs or membership discount or VIP memberships to; Airlines, Car Rentals, Hotels, Bus, etc. This has proven to be extremely valuable as I travel around the US. Having my information; CC, address, drivers info, insurance is a HUGE security risk and all I can do is hope the companies I entrust with this info safeguards it. We live in a digital world and everyone is susceptible to failure, so I try to not live in fear of that potential risk. This week I needed a car quickly and no other company offers the level of service Enterprise does. Erica came to my place and brought me back to the office and completed my paperwork quickly. Part of the reason she was able to complete my rental agreement so quickly was 1. I used my mobile app to secure a low rate on-line before they even opened 2. My Enterprise club membership has all my CC, driver info, insurance and past customer interactions on file. This greatly helps establish a solid past business relationship. Erica being the sales person she is did explain the pre-pay gas feature which I was glad to pay for, she also wanted to sell me additional insurance, which as a sales person is her job. Like a timeshare sales person they dont take no easily. So be firm, IF you truly dont need the additional insurance then just decline. The car ran perfect and I couldnt ask for better transportation. Always be sure to do a thorough walk around, this pre-check is essential. Also remember when renting a car you need to follow their procedures as much as possible, if there are deviations be sure to check with the agents and get a clear understanding. Im thankful this Enterprise store is located centrally for me and has always been helpful, professional, courteous and budget friendly. Thank you Erica.
I was in a car accident yesterday. My insurance uses Enterprise. I was already unhappy about this, but my vehicle is not drive able. So I call today and Brandon tells me I’m on a waiting list but will have something in later. I call again at 3:15 because I have to have something to get to work. Brandon assured me he would call me back at 5. It’s 7:30. Nothing, no call, great job... I wasn’t expecting much, I deal with enterprise everyday at my job.
My husband and I did not have a pleasant experience with our recent rental. I did an online rental reservation. When we arrived to pick up our rental, we had a long wait. When we were finally waited on, the full size call that we reserved was no longer available. The only options that were left was a pick-up truck and a minivan. We had to go with the minivan and the sales rep said that he would give us Sirrus Radio for free. I guess that was suppose to be a consolation prize, but nonetheless we were not happy about our options.
Miserable service waited 2 hours to be picked up from the place I dropped off my car at. I was about less than 5mins of a drive away from this location and never made it to pick me up even though I had reserved the time almost a week ahead a lady from the dealership I was dropping my car at called them and still never got picked up. Will never go to this location again might end up going to Hertz next time.
Colerain Enterprise is pathetic. Customer service here is the worst. We made a reservation but were denied the car when we showed up. Benjamin Schneider should learn some etiquette and try to improve on his customer skills. If he couldnt give us a car at least he could have helped us with finding one in some other location. It is the same company after all. Instead of helping us he ignored us and made zero efforts to solve our problems. After this horrible experience if will strongly suggest against making any reservations with the Colerain Enterprise. They have zero sense of customer service and satisfaction.
They wouldnt stay 1 minute past closing time to help me out to rent me a car after i was just in an accident. For a place that has a slogan enterprise we will pick you up theu sure wont help a customer out. I even called ahead of time they didnt care. They told me they were busy and haf stuffe to do. Worst customer service ive ever had. I will use another car rental place next time. There should be some kind of policy for this or stay open later than 6 other people gotta work too. Tru closing stores at 7 or 8 when people actually have time to get there.
My experience started poorly. Was on a 3 way call with them over an insurance claim that I needed a rental. Called them direct because they were unable to pick the closest office to me. It was stated 4 to 5 times I needed Harrison Oh. I get there and its closed and has been closed over covid. I call them and it was set up for Bridgetown Oh. The guy on this call said Harrison will open Tuesday. Guess i could set on curb for 6 days lol. I did get it worked out and after that things went well
Enterprise Rental is the only Rental agency S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation uses. Their customer service is always great. There is always room for improvement and I hope this will continue to grow stronger. Thank you for always putting your customers first and listening with an open heart.
I had a rental car though the Ford airbag recall from this enterprise location... after having the car for about 4 weeks I was rear ended today.. I called the location.. Austin asked me if I could bring the car in for them to see the damage. I left the accident scene and went to enterprise on Colerain.. Austin failed to inform me that they would confiscate the vehicle and not issue another vehicle unless I could pay .. on the spot .. my $1000 deductible. So they left me.. on the side of Colerain with everything cleaned out from my vehicle withno ride.. terrible customer service by Austin
My husband.has rented many cars from this location. Recently went to get the car we rented and they dident have it so we had to take another car. Last time we rented Same problem..The.vehicle was dirty when it was showed. It was a truck. Dont rent vehicle like that. You cant see in perfections. I acaully noticed alot of stratchs and chiped paint on it. He says a truck is a truck. Now they have made a claim on are insurance for something.we didnt do. Then left something in truck. 10 minutes later weent back. He has took truck out dirty to go give.someone else a ride. So again had to wait for awhile. Bad management for sure.Ed St Clair
I always have a positive experience at this location. Dustin and Brandon are simply the most professional, courteous, and overall helpful individuals, always looking for ways to make our rental more convenient or pleasant. I wouldnt rent from another location or company!
My car was recently hit by one of the vehicles the renter of the vehicle not only loaned her vehicle to another party but also was involved when the vehicle hit mine. It has been provided that I was not at fault for my vehicle was parked at the time. Long story short i have to pay out of pocket to get my vehicle fixed because enterprise does not verify if the people they rent out to have proper insurance for situations such as this. I just bought my vehicle being 9 months and all and was planning to have a safe vehicle to bring my child home in. I dont understand how a company doesnt verify someone insurance and would allow people to be on the road. Liabilty has to start somewhere.
Fine another location or if you can another franchise all together, this location and also the 5th street location are beyond rude. Yes they will get you in a car of their liking and for all purposes known to them at a price point they like unless you are going through your car insurance, also be careful of all the mandatory charges they try to have you sign for that you do not have to have.
If I can give this Enterprise a zero I would I dont know if she was associate or manager but she totally lie to me and put me in a very bad financial situation its so easy to take money off your card but it takes up to 30 days to put money back on your card she never told me that if I had a choice I would have never went to that particular Enterprise but I guess the real work that way they never tell you how long its going to take to put money back on your card really but listen to a person that experienced it it takes up to 30 days to put money back on your debit card or your credit card they never tell you that but this particular one-0 Stars so watch out whoever goes to Enterprise the one on Glenway Avenue oh by the way the person that did it her name was Mary Beth Im sorry Miss Mary Beth
Thanks to Enterprise making a reservation for me to rent a truck with a hitch, and then reneging, my weekend plans were ruined and I was forced to use an additional day off to accomplish the task the rental was meant for. Ill never use Enterprise again unless Im completely desperate.
Had to come and make a payment on a rental car for my fiance since it declined their card ended up getting charges more because they added me as a driver and being under 25 it cost a ton more even though I wasnt driving I was just there to pay for the vehicle with my card so it could be picked up.
Upon returning the car, an employee instructed me to drop the key in the drop box. The next day I was charged an additional day because they dont check the drop box. Upon calling them, they said they would review the cameras and get back to me. Never did. VERY INEFFICIENT LOCATION, DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.
I was supposed to have gotten a rental car 3 days ago I called them for two days in a row trying to get in touch with someone never could reach them finally I got a hold of someone told them I was on my way they called me and told me to turn around that they had gave my vehicle to someone else that I had already had booked then finally I go to get a vehicle and I get in the vehicle and the vehicle has such a foul odor in it that I almost had an asthma attack so I had to refuse the vehicle Im going to find somewhere else to rent a vehicle
The colerain location was a very stressful experience. There was not enough staff and it was way to hot to be standing outside with several people in line.. They would not answer the phone all day!!!! I wouldnt give them any stars but it would not let me post withut atleast giving them one star
They suck they didnt give me my $100 dollar deposit because I originally got the car for a week and ended up keeping it 4 weeks but was calling every tues to renew and pay then they want to tell me because Oct had extra days that they kept it but I called every tues so how did I have it extra days BS I wont ever rent from them again

2022-01-31I was very pleased. Waited just a few minutes to get my car behind 3 people. I received exactly the car I requested. It was brought to me quickly, included a walk-around to determine any damage. None existed. The car was perfect.I received a call reminding me of my return time about an hour before. It was nice I thought. The return was equally snag free. Thank you enterprise.

2022-02-22I was truly satisfied with the customer service at this location. They provided me with several choices of vehicles to select from. I definitely walked away a very happy customer. I have to say, there was one representative that went above and beyond to meet my satisfaction, and her name is Tevin. She was awesome! I thank the team for the smiles and thank you. I will for sure return back to this location. I recommend these services to all of my friends and family. :)Thanks Enterprise of Colerain

2022-06-02This place has really went downhill. They gave us an upgrade to a vehicle that smelled like a big ashtray, was not cleaned properly, the windshield wipers barely worked and the tires were bald. They did offer to trade in the vehicle the next day for another one but we were going out of town and couldnt wait. We called the corporate number to let them know of the issues and they offered us a discount but to just let the location know once we dropped off the vehicle. We did and they refused to give us the discount and said they were the ones to have to authorize it. We have an upcoming trip later this month and had made reservations for a vehicle for almost two weeks at this location. I have cancelled that reservation and made it at another friendlier more professional location.

2022-06-10Well first the car was on Empty when I picked up the rental, the person helping me did take 45.00 off the total agreement but it should have been more it took me 50.00 to fill up the car. Then when I returned the vehicle I had an exceptionally long wait considering there were 2 people working the counter and neither seemed real interested in getting me checked out.

2022-05-06I was very happy with the Kind, courteous and respectful customer service given by Dom Smith, during pickup and return. Dom also made sure I got a ride to pickup my car from the collision repair shop. I will definitely use Enterprise Car rental again

2022-05-17This is the worst Enterprise car rental pickup.I’m relocating to Cincinnati and I mistakenly booked a car at this location. They have a “supposed” rule that you can’t use a debit card unless you have a new address within 50 miles. As a result of this new rule I was stranded without a car. The staff was not very helpful (Conner was the most attentive) The bathroom wasn’t clean and there wasn’t toilet paper. I was able to reserve a car at my favorite enterprise location. Good night and good luck 🍀

2022-06-08After waiting more than a hour after my reservation time the rep was very apologetic and stated I would get a free upgrade and bring the car back the next day at the same time which would have been about 5pm Saturday. He was the only one working while about four other people sat behind the desk with their head down not even acknowledging customers while the phone rang the whole time. My reservation was for pickup at 330 and drop off at 1. I brought the car back at 4 which was after business hours. I got the receipt Monday and they charged for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with no free upgrade taking my 200 dollar deposit. When I called the young lady got real smart with me bringing up my reservation times even after explaining what the man told me and she got caught up trying to be technical but not making sense. She stated she would have him adjust it. No one did. Had to call back the next day asking for a manager after talking to one of the women that was sitting there doing nothing behind the counter. She went to get the assistant manager but I was hung up on. Finally someone called back and stated the two days were refunded but I couldnt get the upgrade. Still waiting for my refund. Ill give it another day and im going up there. Colerains location is very unprofessional and flat out liars. Will not be renting from enterprise again.

2022-03-25The Kia I rented through an insurance claim is so new, nice, and greatly maintained shape as well as cleanliness. They even kindly enough to waive the fee when my card declined to due being an online banking card you can receive in the mail. They were so kind, same day service and they could deliver me to the vehicle.

2022-04-16HIDDEN FEES NOT DISCUSSED. They added fees and charged my account only after the fact of returning it. Unprofessional to not have discussed that fees were possible when having a customer sign the agreement. This is a prime example of how large corporations take advantage of their customers. They SHOULD discuss all possible fees and have it on the receipt when signing an agreement. Corruption and unethical practices taking place, just sad that their employees know what they are doing and following the greed. Such a disappointing experience all around, do better Enterprise, do better employees.

2022-06-14Have been without a car for about a year now because of a major accident so insurance has been paying for a rental and customer service can be slow at times but they are really nice here. Car selection can be a bit bad at this location though they dont give much variety.
