Our first time here and it was amazing. The waitress was very nice and help us out. The food was Ah-Maz-ing. It wasnt pack so that was a plus for me and my family. Will definitely be back.
We ordered pizza, garlic bread w/cheese, and salad. The salad looked and tasted like it had old lettuce. Pizza was Very Very Soggy!!! The bread didn’t have a good taste at all. Very Disappointed..
Saw a lot of good reviews on this place and decided to check it out. Ordered a half pepperoni/mushroom and mushroom/cheese. Also ordered the garlic/cheese bread. They have it set up for one person at a time in the building. Pizza had a slightly spicy sauce on it with a ton of cheese. The pizza had old world pepperoni that was nice and spicy. Garlic cheese bread also very cheesy but a little burnt around the edge. Staff was very friendly and brought the pizza out to my car. Place was super busy at the time. Will return just to check it out in some normal times.
I’ve always had a great pizza until today it just didn’t taste very good. It was burnt and hardly any sauce! Very disappointed 😢
This was our first time visiting Emelios.Setting outside on the patio with the umbrella open, 77ﾟ,with just a little bit of sun popping through the fence.Our visit was a delightful and pleasant atmosphere.Order a meat pizza and salad, and let me end here by saying YUM!P.S. the staff was friendly with smiling faces. This place took me back to when life was simple. Friendly people 1980s vibe excellent food, the meatballs the salad the pizza and especially the pepperoni thats in the salad. You got to try this place.

Crust was hard. The pizza didnt have much flavor. The food wasnt bad by any means, it just wasnt great. I wouldnt come back on my own but would join other people there if I had to.

I love this place!Is a gem in the city. Lived out west all my life except the last 15 years and havent made it out there in some time. It is still as good as it was all those years ago.Anyone looking for one of if not the best pizza in the city look no further then Emelios.Make sure to get the special salad too!Glad you are still around and doing well throughout these rough times.
Not a huge fan of the pizza. It was a bit lacking in cheese. Pepperoni was good but the sauce and crust was not very impressive. I probably wouldn’t come back.

Love the pizza and the specialty salad is amazing
Not sure what changes have been made to the dressing for the special salad but it needs to be changed back to how it was made a few years ago. It tastes very watered down with extra pepper. We also asked for a light bake on the pizza and it was still burnt. I can overlook the pizza but the dressing is just plain nasty compared to how it was. Id give this place a 5 star rating if it wasnt for that.

Last night we ordered off of door dash and I clicked on the wrong topping not even realizing it thinking I had picked pepperoni. They tried to call but I was on the phone and didn’t realize it was then on the out of state phone number so they left a message and I called back. My pizza was already made and in the oven so I told them it was fine it was my fault we will just pick the peppers off no big deal. Well when we got our pizza they were so nice and they had remade our pizza with pepperoni in stead of the peppers they did not have to do this it was totally my fault. That is what I call great customer service pizza was excellent and we will definitely be ordering from here more often.
Ive been coming here for years and love the place, but I went to door dash emelios and for 2 14 pizzas and 3 subs was 97 dollars.. just ordered 2 16 pizzas and 3 subs from Tommys for less than 65.. AND TOMMYS IS BY FAR HIGHER QUALITY PIZZA FOR WAY LESS.. LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER
I just moved to the area and wanted to try a local pizza. I liked all the pepperoni, but the canned mushrooms kinda watered down the flavor of the overall pizza. I added some grated parm, garlic and Italian seasoning all over and it was better. I also had a meatball sub. It was ok. The meatballs were smashed flat...which i didnt like. Id be willing to give the place another try.
Website had listed dine-in, but when we got there it said they werent dine-in ready until 7/6/21. The kitchen smelled great, and Ill try it another day.Edit: Dine-in is open again, and it is great! One of my new favorites.
I wish I had taken pictures of the fabulous food 👍 at Emilios 👌😂 but we scarfed it up too quickly. Their special salad was great 👍 highlights are the cooked pepperoni in the salad, really added some flavor 👌 the pizza was perfect! Fresh crispy edges on the crust, loaded with toppings! 👍 Then the Italian sub was also a good sandwich. Perfect crusty bun. I will be back tomorrow.. lol😂👍
I really wanted to love this pizza, but it didnt live up to the hype in my opinion. I read so many good things about this place on the local pizza fb group so I was dying to try it. The sauce and toppings was amazing but the crust was overcooked and chewy. Ppl tell me this is their staple and why so many ppl love it. Its not for me, but they have a large fan base. My suggestion is to try it out for yourself, bc it may be to your liking. You either love this pizza or hate, but totally worth the try.
A true west side of CBus mainstay. Dine in or take out. Sorry I didnt get a picture, but I couldnt wait to eat the pizza. Parking is tricky because they are usually busy, but be patient...its worth the wait.

I feel that they have the best pizza around this area. They have a salad they call A Special Salad and I truly believe that it is Special. They are not pre-made...they make them to order. If you like salads and you visit the Emelios on Georgesville & Sullivant you should get one to go with your sub or pizza which I feel are equally amazing. Before COVID-19 when you could go to their Bar (attached) services was great! Very Friendly service and it didnt matter how often you went but after your first visit they remembered you and what you liked to order. I could go on but Just Go & Try It For Yourself! Its GREAT!
A friend invited me to Emilio’s and I had to write a review. The food is amazing. I’m not a mole fan, but theirs is delightful. (I tried my friend’s per her request)I got the sour cream chicken enchiladas as I always do; and some places boil some chicken, throw it in a corn tortilla, and dump some sour cream on top. This is not that, it’s a flavor explosion. The black beans are probably the best I’ve had.Odd side note, the bathroom is quite clean and smells like cinnamon. I don’t know how they did that, but overall this is a new go-to spot for me for sure! They also have the hooks under the bar to hang your purse safely. That may seem small, but ladies, you get it. You don’t want your purse on the back of your chair at a bar.
Love their pizza and specialty salad. The small peperoni on top has just the right amount of crunch. Their salad is enough for two and is so different from other places. It is a nice change. The sub my husband ordered was not as good as others he has had in the past. But was okay. They are a small bar/pizza shop type establishment.
Best pizza around! They use the delicious baby pepperoni and they are covering the pizza like a little roni blanket. Nicely cooked every time, always consistant. I love the crumbled sausage, as it adds a different texture than big ol chunks of sausage most places offer. Matt delivers to me every time with a smile and we chat a bit while he runs my card. Emilios is hands down my go to pizza shop! EDIT: they cook their pizza well done to achieve a nice crispy crust. If you want it cooked normally just ask for a light bake

We ordered a pizza from Emelio’s after having been disappointed by another local pizza place. The half cheese, half pepperoni was really great and worth every penny. The crust and pepperonis were crispy and the sauce was unique and flavorful. Well worth your money if you want to support an excellent local restaurant.
Busy on a Saturday night, which is to be expected, but it only took about 10 minutes to get a table. It was a bit unorganized in terms of getting your name in, but it was fine. Our server was very friendly and brought our toddler some cheese and crackers to occupy him. Unfortunately, we thought the pizza was pretty bland and not worth the trip across town (for us}. Special salad was great though!

Just ate here for the 1st time! We ordered their salad, cheesy garlic bread and pizza. Everything was amazing! We have lived in Brookshire for almost 3 years and cant believe we havent eaten here before. Great find! Oh, the guys working there were very friendly as well.Stick with the pizzas and salads, the Italian sub was just ok.
Great staff, great food. We have been coming for years and everyone here is like family to us. Make sure to ask for seasoning on your pizza and have a special salad. The meatballs are amazing! We have used the catering services as well and they do a great job as well.
Awesome special salad. Since we had not been here before, my husband and I shared a large salad, meatball sub, and large pizza. All total was $31 with leftovers to take home. Great price for great food. Loved the quiet atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.
Theyve been around for 60 years. That says it all. Pizza is fantastic. I love small mom and pop places and this is tops on my list. Small attached bar to have a cold beer while you wait, or done in. Try the special salad its delish.

Service was great. Pizza had a very crispy crust, which I dont care for, and I didnt care for the flavor of it. Toppings were good and generously applied. Others we were with loved it, so take this review with a grain of salt unless youre a fan of softer New York style crusts.
The salad is my favorite. The dressing is phenomenal and the saltine crackers served on the side are the perfect accoutrement- we come for pizza and salad usually once a week & Dominic one of the brothers of the family takes really good care of us -as has everyone else that weve encountered- this place is a hidden gem for sure

This is one of my favorite places to go for pizza. Its old school, like I remember from my youth, pepperoni pizza. The facility is dated but Im not there for that. The people are friendly and the food comes from the kitchen pretty quickly. Getting a salad to go takes care of lunch the next day. Thanks.
One of the best pizza restaurants in West Columbus. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Their pepperoni pizza is like most places extra pepperoni pizzas. Only thing I can say negative is not always consist. The crust is sometimes slightly overcooked but still tastes good.
Wouldnt let me place an order at 9:17. They close at 10 but said that they had been slow for the last 45 minutes and werent taking orders but answered the phone as if they were still opened. 4.7 rating so I was anxious to see if the pizza was good. I bet that I never spend a penny with them so I guess I will never taste their pizza. This is coming from a business owner. Smh!
Made it to Emelios to give them a try and I was not disappointed. Got a medium pepperoni, mushroom and onion pizza and a Super Italian sub. The pizza crust was a very thin, crispy cracker crust that supported the pizza. The sub meats were plentiful and had great flavor not usually found with most other sub shops. One other note is that there pizza passed the next days cold pizza test. We also saw others that had the salad that looked very good, will have to try thats on the next visit.
I order from Emelios as often as possible. Best pizza in town! Every time I place an order the phone staff is upbeat and helpful. The delivery driver. Brandon, has an amazing attitude and is extremely friendly, always smiling and never forgets to ask how your day has been. Would recommend the pizza to anyone!
This is our first time having Emelios pizza, but it definitely wont be the last time. This is by far the best pizza weve ever had. The crust is crunchy and the sauce and topping are delicious. Dont forget to try the garlic cheese bread!
Weve heard it was the best, read the reviews and decided to try it. Our first time we ordered the Super Sub, Meatball Sub and the Special Salad and we picked it up at 11:30am. Weve all been sick since. Not only was there no taste, the salad was like eating lettuce then chugging Crisco oil. Everything looked good, smelled good, but the after effects were NOT good. The aftertaste was absolutely horrible. Had to take it to the outside trash can because of the smell. Never again!!

One of my favorite take out places. The bar is a quaint little family owned place. It has been a staple on the west side for pizza and cold beer. The Special Salad is probably what they are most known for. It has crispy pepperoni and lots of chees in it.
Crunch crust is divine! Service is perfection. Atmosphere is enjoyable. I personally prefer a saucier pizza and Pepsi products, hence the 4 stars, but I still enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely recommend!
I got the Jol Momo, and this was my first ever experience eating Tibetan food. It was perfect! Not too much spice, not too little, just enough. It was definitely a satisfying meal. It comes with 8 very generously sized dumplings filled with chicken and spices. Ill definitely be coming back here for more!

I ordered a 14 pizza with extra sauce, pepperoni, half sausage, and extra cheese. The pizza hardly had any sauce on it, hardly had any sausage on my half of the pizza, and definitely didnt have extra cheese. I also ordered a garlic bread with cheese, which was tasty. I dont mind paying for quality but the pizza definitely lacked any kind of quality! Especially considering I paid $22.50 for garbage. I wish that I was able to post pictures of the monstrosity that I received! I wont be back! Buyer be ware!
This is an interesting, good long term restaurant-tavern with Frank Sinatras photo on the wall. Emelios has been around that long, its a Classic! Not just Pizza. We had the best Ham & Cheese Sub ever. The Special Salad is Outstanding! Friendly place. Parking is a problem. The corner Car Sales lot lets us park behind every time I have asked. Parking after 5 pm at the Veterinarians Office on Sullivant Avenue is allowed. Its a Tavern-Restaurant know that. One of our Favorites!

The Special Salad is great. Old fashion cooked pepperoni, sliced cheeses, peppercorn, Italian house dressing. Large Salad is more than Meal sized. Pizza is good with the thin crust and old fashion pepperoni. Its all fresh foods.
1st visit to this old landmark and it wont be our last. If your looking for new and pretty decor, your in the wrong house. This is a no hassle environment with great pizza and a friendly owner. Dont change a thing my newest friend!

A friend recommended this place to us. We stopped by for a pizza before going to the Casino, which is very close. We had a salad, garlic cheese bread, and a All The Way pizza. Al of it was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Well be back.

Not a good experience. Me and the family went to eat... two times our drinks went empty with no one in sight to fill them. One of the pizzas was burnt. When they finally brought out the box they let us know what our total was (no receipt) $39.75 for 1 large pizza 1 small pizza and 3 drinks. Obviously thats not right. So we brought it up she said oh lol we have been so slow today my brains not working, I accidentally added $10 your brains working you just wanted to make extra money in this slow day. Never going back. The bartender looked like he was to high to function.

Im not particularly impressed with Emelios. Its Columbus-style pizza, very small for the price, completely average ingredients with nothing special going on. For this style its better than Masseys and worse than Teritas.

All I can say is get their popular salad!! Its terrific and their pizza is good also!
They have the pizza on the West side of Columbus. Then have a special, salad with it. In my world, there isnt a better pizza shop around!!
Second time ordering ,unfortunately the bottom was burnt. And there wasnt much taste even with all the toppings.. the works..

2022-06-12We come up from Florida every year and Emelios is our first destination. We dream about their pizza and salad!! Lol BEST EVER. Our waitress was fabulous too.

2022-06-19Cant say more. Great place for pizza, salad & beer. Theyve been around for decades with the same excellent food! A must go for me when Im in the Columbus area! Plus we had a fabulous waitress, unfortunately I forgot to get her name. She made our visit even better. Great accommodating staff!! A fun time!!

2022-03-011st time at Emelios. Family pizza place since 1960. That should say how great the place.The pizza thinned crust,crunchy and have many toppings. And cant 4get the salad,that is worth the trip. U know the dressing is on the salad,hard 2 describe smooth good taste. The servers r tops,the service is excellent.Emilios has a long bar,looks like variety of wines,beer and mixed drinks..Great friendly experience.definitely will b back. Not soon enough Thank U.xoxo

2020-12-24The pizza is flavorful. Crust is crunchy and good. Pepperoni and cheese are really flavorful and good quality. The sub was just a regular Italian sub and the Special Salad was um, unique.They put cooked pepperonis in it and their Italian dressing is house made. A little to strong of a vinegar taste for me but allot of people love it.

2022-06-12This has been my favorite pizza place since Ive know what pizza is, literally I am 26 years old and this is still my go to for pizza. I live downtown now and will make the 20 minute drive just to have Emilios and it is my birthday dinner every year. Best pizza in town. Possibly ever.

2022-04-29Disappointed.... ordered sausage and mushrooms pizza. Mushrooms had to be canned and the sausage had Zero flavor. The thin crust on the pie was good.Not sure how they have a 4.7 rating.

2022-05-07Im sorry, I get faithful Ohioans... I was one for 18 years. But, I dont get the best pizza ever. If you are not a local, just get Marcos, I just dont get the hype. Pizza was just ok. Salad came in a Styrofoam cup. Maybe Im spoiled, but this is not a do over.
