Decent food over priced though good service
Fast service and good food. Generous portion, enough to take home a second meal.
Food lacked spice. The steak tacos and such had just the right spice before but now its like it had no spice at all.
It was wonderful my daughters took me there for lunch for Fathers Day

I don’t know what happened to this place. Ordered to go tonight… enchiladas sauce tasted like watery spegetti sauce. With big chunks of tomatoe in it 🤢. The refried beans were so chunky and dry. It all went in the garbage. Very disappointed. This place use to have good food!
All of our food was great. And so were the margaritas. Some items priced a little high but it beats out most other Mexican restaurants in the area with flavor.
My food was cold and bland and disappointing. My dinner guests enjoyed theirs. The red sauce atop my burritos was lovely. The shredded chicken inside was very much boiled chicken. No peppers or onions. No seasoning. The ground beef had no flavor. I was very sad. My queso was lovely. Good thing, since that was my dinner. There were flies buzzing around us while we ate. Just not a great experience 😕

Do yourself a favor and drive 3min west to El camps.... customer comes last at El Rincon food is less than good. Make sure to check your receipts for a overcharge! Also it is hard to clean your hands properly in the poor quality bathrooms.
This place is awesome foods great servers are always there for you . I never had a bad experience or a bad meal food comes out hot fast and just AWESOME. Been going here for years and will continue two thumbs up.
Service was excellentDrink was too sweet.Food got cold because we sat under an air conditioner vent. It was cold outside and the air conditioner did not need to be on.Otherwise, parking and food was satisfactory.
The worst Mexican food I have ever had, nothing had flavor and when I asked what was in the vegetarian items no one knew anything.. know your menu if your offering vegetarian options

Still an awesome restaurant with great food and an authentic ambience. We had the Parrillada which is like a mixed meats fajita plate . Highly reccomend. Dont forget the horchata!
Okay this review kinda hurts, keep in mind that this was only MY experience and very likely not common practice. With that being said, I gave the nice lady a take out order. It was a quick stop my friend and I made on the way back to the office. I ordered a number 11 and clearly stated a number 11. When I arrived at work I open the bag and I got 11 tacos. (There is no taco in a #11 meal) It was 99¢ taco day I guess and she had taco on the brain. Understandably. Okay so that should have been around $11 for 11 tacos. I paid $23 That part didnt go down so good. If I had time to go back and exchange, Im quite sure they would have done so gladly but, because of time restrictions, that was not possible. So be sure to check your order before leaving the restaurant unless youre okay paying over double for the wrong order. EDIT: The food taste very nice. Will have to try again some day.
My family and I come to this location at least 2 times a yr only to be reminded why we dont come more often. Honestly the food is pretty good, but my guess is the language barrier might be the cause of poor service... every single time! And something is always forgotten, or one meal might come out not as described on the menu. I always try to give benefit of the doubt and extra chances but theres always something at this location. Wanting to try another location to see if service is the same or not.

Fast and friendly service! I felt that the tables were evenly spaced so I felt comfortable there. I wasnt crazy about the salsa though, it tasted like tomatoes juice, not much flavor and very thin. Maybe they ran out of tomatoes, lol
The quality of the food isnt quite as good as it used to be. The steak in my fajitas had what tasted like liver mixed in. Not a good flavor at all. Some pieces were great but others...yuck.

Worst experience I have had at this franchise ever. From start to end, this is an exemplary case of what not to do when in a customer service business. Call in the order and the not only is order taker rude, but acts like reading it back is a complete problem and just hangs up after giving an order number. No price. No idea of when it might be ready. The signs say to go around to the back for pick up. It a problem. Things are different since covid. However, waiting for over ten minutes with no one even coming by to see what you need is a problem. Finally go inside to pick up and again completely ignored. Have to wave someone down. Then the man, who I can only assume to be the manager, come over and says you have to go to the truck out back. That’s what I did. Not one apology for being ignored. Finally receive order and it’s wrong. When I go in to make sure the order that I am picking up for others is correct, it’s like a wall of attitude and calling the customer a liar that they never ordered it. See, this is why you confirm orders and the order taker did. But, instead of any semblance of an apology, it’s a “this is x amount more”. Really? I think I’ll continue to patronize the Akron location where they actually give a damn about customers and have never had any bad experience. There are dozens of Mexican inspired/ethnic cuisine locations in. Or th East Ohio. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place.
9/9/2020 we ordered from this one on Tusc....the entire order was not a disaster but the two Taco salads was...now I have two sick kids and on top of that I called to complain and they dont even want to compensate me for the two taco salads. Thank God they are not the only Mexican restaurant here and I definitely will not patronize them any more. The supervisor was the one I spoke with and before that another rude employee....Still have the taco salad also ny next stop is hospital 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠 btw our order was 38.66 not the 1st time we spent this or more but we wont go here any more or any other one .

My favorite are the yucatan fajitas. They are awesome. My hubby thought the burrito was smaller and doesnt care for the salsa. Decor is beautiful, staff is great!

Weve ordered from El Rincon many many times through the years. Ive never gotten the completely wrong order before. Yes, theyll forget something small once in a while but to give us the wrong order?
What happened to this place? Used to enjoy it but in the last several months it has gone down hill like a run away train. The waitresses dont seem to understand anything you say to them. They just smile and dont bring what you ask for nor correct errors. Now lets talk about their drinks, horrible doesnt begin to cover it. Ordered long island ice tea. Waitress tells us they have no tea from long island. After much explaining she googled it and returned with an unidentifiable and undrinkable liquid mess. Have tried going back a few times due to the fact that we have been going there for years. Subsequent visits no better and when you tell them the drinks arent right, again they smile and walk away. I dont mind paying for my food and drink but I do mind paying for items that come from the kitchen, to the table, then to the trash.
The food is good but the service needs some work. I had to constantly wave someone down for more chips and salsa, drinks, and I eventually ended up getting my own boxes to take leftovers home. It was unacceptable especially because they were not that busy. And most of the employees were just standing around.
Delicious authentic Latino food! Wonderful ambiance and the artestry on the decor is stunning! The staff are courteous and kind. An all around wonderful place to eat!

The food was great. The margaritas were good. First 2 were awesome. Third was ok. The 4th tasted like margarita-mix. No alcohol. We stopped there. Tasted like squeezed limes and ice. Chicken was good tho.
I love their expanded menu. So many great options. My new favorite is the Fajita Yucatan. It can be ordered with chicken or beef. It comes with lots of veggies including cauliflower and broccoli as well as the regular fajita veggies. The seasoning is great on it. Huge portion along with rice and beans. You cant go wrong with their chips and salsa.
The food was good seemed a littlepricey compared to others Ive beento, Didnt offer any specials the day I was there. (I like specials).Also the waiter didnt seem to speak my language.The food however was delicious.
We went to dinner there tonight I ordered the burrito supreme did not like it. It looked like a salad with a burrito under it and a small amount of sour cream what a joke. I didnt like it and ordered something else and they didnt even bother to take the meal I ordered off the bill
This was my second time here I really wanted to try their Hawaiian burrito witch was the only good thing about our visit the service was super slow both times I have been, and there were only two other tables. We ordered two jumbo margaritas and the first ones tasted like straight syrup and were not frozen like we had asked. the second ones were super thick but didnt taste like anything like how hard is it to make a margarita? so I just got a sprite instead but it was super flat as well. Well be sticking with el camps from now on.
This particular location is sketchy. Taste wise the food is good. However, I have been overcharged consistently and they dont seem to understand what I order. Certain items are doubled, or missing. Its very close so I like to go there. Just be careful what you order and ask to see the item receipt.

In my opinion, El Rincon is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Canton. This is the only place where I can order a vegetarian fajita that has lots of veggies (zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, squash, mushrooms, etc)...the Fajita Yucatan. And my husband thinks the beef soup is one of the best bowls of soup hes ever had in his life. Great food and great service at a great price.
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. Food is fresh, hot and served to the table quickly. I really like their new menu, especially the items with avocado.We dont drink the adult beverages so Im not sure about their quality or prices. A lot of people order them so Im assuming they are good. There are a lot of repeat customers and we almost always see someone that we know.Prices are very reasonable. If you cant take the heat in your food, make sure you ask, especially regarding their soups. I like their chicken soup without the pico de gallo, although sometimes there is too much oil on the top - but that doesnt happen often. Their shrimp soup was so hot that my son who loves HOT was in misery. If youre not sure - ask. The wait staff is very helpful.

If i could give it no stara i would service was twrrible and the food was so tasteless i couldnt believe it i will not be back there id rather drive further from home for just better quality service as well as the food i xant believe the coat of the food either paid almoat 40 dollars for 2 people to eat

I just visited El Rincon in Canton, Ohio. While the food was excellent, the service was terrible. This was my second time there and because the food was so good, I returned. However i will no longer patronize this restaurant again. I expect service from any establisment that takes my money. Instead, i chanced to get a waiter that never bothered to give me a glance to see if I even needed anything. He seemed to be more involved texting on his cell phone, than to bother servicing his customers. I waited 10 minutes, before he even looked up, to come and take my order. And upon leaving, he never came back to collect for the check(something they do there). I communicated with another waiter that I wanted to pay my bill but my waiter never returned. This time I waited 20 minutes. Finally, i walked up to their waiter station and said I wanted to pay my bill. My waiter was sent for and took my payment. I would have been greatly surprised if he had said thank you to me... I was not surprised..he didnt. Needless to say, this experience was not good. I almost got up and walked out the door without paying..what do you think would have been their reaction then? I normally do not write a review, but this experience begs that I do. Oh yes, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!
Food is really good and reasonably priced. I had a root beer with there logo on it.Sweet and syrupy like it is supposed to be.They were polite and right there asking if they could help with anything.The Speedy Gonzalez (1 burrito,1taco,rice or refried beens) was delicious.
I love this place. But only when i get certain waiters lol. But i go here once a week! Get the margarita tower you wont regret it!

Place always has good atmosphere. Food comes out extremely fast, even faster if you order simple. Gotten carry out a couple times and that was good also way better than any fast food tex-mex. The branch in North Canton is just as good if not better.

Fantastic Mexican food. I especially enjoy their Special La Casa, although I feel as though their Cleveland Ave. location makes it better. Maybe its just me. Their Fajitas are also delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Nice little mexican place with a large bar. Margerita mondays are popular with the local community. The food is always very good and fresh and the staff is friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonable! Lunchtime specials come out in less than 10 minutes!

Bad service. Waiter talked too much to staff and didnt care about us or our refills. Had to go up and get my own check to pay. Tacos were very soggy. I told waiter. He didnt understand me and didnt care ti.

We think they have great food. Its under new ownership and the inside has been redone with the addition of a small bar area. Fast, hot food with always great service.
Came in for the first time with a friend the other day. Wish I could rate the place based on the food but I can only rate based on the service. Once seated no one came to check on us, offer drinks, or take our order (the place wasn’t busy). After waiting for about 25-30 minutes we left to get food elsewhere.

Very very slow, had to wave them down for refills. They were not busy, just standing around talking. 4 workers 1 person at the bar, a table of 1,table if 2 and us.....never have been here or any Mexican restaurant. ...that took close to 45 min for our order...again there was 2 of us and they were not busy....cashier could not speak or understand English. I said do you understand what Im saying, she said yes. I said no you dont, Ive asked the same question 4 Times and you have yet to answer me.....horrible customer service. The guy even more or less called me a lier. I said Ive never been here and had these kind of issues....he said I dont know you, you have never been here???? I go there 6-8 Times a year since they have opened. WOW. He will NEVER see us again. We order for my office from here also, $40-$50 a month.....NO more!
Server was hard to flag down. We didnt have silverware when our food came. Got a little cold by the time we got to it. Food was kinda meh. Just not as flavorful as mexican food should be. Nice building though.
El Ricon has been in the area for over 20 years and has been one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is always outstanding and is always consistent. Give it try!
Its a nice little restaurant, but there are so many great Mexican restaurants in the area that are a little better. The day we went the AC was off and you could tell it affected the workers moods.

This place used to be me and my familys favriote spot to eat on a regular basis when the two brothers ran it but in the last 6 or so months new pepole have come in took over got rid of the best part of the resturant (the brothers) and have cheapened everything just look at the missing pos system no longer there they print your bill out on an old school calculator now imagine the food cost cuts being made no better yet try the food now cause it sucks and its sad cant wait for Las Penas on whipple to open

2022-05-04I was completely new to this place and this type of food. Ive gotta say that it wasnt disappointing! 😁 The food was really good and wasnt expensive. The waitress was also nice and very polite. The timing was also good because I didnt have to wait long for my drink or food. Also, it was nice that the other customers were respectful and didnt have their phones going, screaming kids, loud conversations, etc.Overall, I did have a good time! 👍🏻The only thing Id change would be that the staff not watch every move I make as if I was a criminal. 🙄

2022-05-14My daughter, granddaughter, and I came here 9n Mothers day. There was an older lady who waited on us. The restaurant was clean and the food was great. Problem is we all three came down with COVID. Now to be fair we did go to a park afterward in Jackson Township. Im not sure where we contracted this the restaurant or the park. But that was the last time we were together.

2022-05-09To be honest, I didnt pay attention to the service, bathrooms, environment, or even drinks... Only come for the food. Tacos (tripa and lengua), enchiladas and Menudo (very hard to get anywhere else). The only reason I drive 2 hours from PA is to get these authentic plates. 2 years since the pandemic and they didnt disappoint.

2022-04-01Fantastic find while seeking a new Mexican food place to eat. Definitely has great food and service. The menudo is out of this world and reminded me of my moms recipe. I may not be Mexican, but anyone who is should be proud of the food being made here to respect great generations of good food eating. You also have to try the aguachiles, lemon drenched shrimp with cucumbers red onions, and a servant and jalapenos.Go out as a group or two , trust me you wont be disappointed on any wait time, they even have a separate little mobile building for getting takeout! Genius!

2019-12-07Super friendly staff ready to serve you as soon as you walk through the door. Restaurant and rest rooms were nice and clean. Taking a look at the menu, youll see theres a little bit more than the average Mexican restaurant.I had the chicken taquitos and the wife had steak taco salad. The chips and salsa were fantastic. Would we ever come back here again, heck yeah!
