At our facility we have a large amount of fruit flies. I called and immediately received a reply of a time that service was able to reach us. Ryan came in and right away started explaining to us why we had this situation and how he was going to start the remedy.He was not only very professional but very polite not only to me but to our staff. Making sure that everyone had as much knowledge about the situation before he left. This has not been the case with past experiences with other companies.We will definitely be using you again when needed.
They are always very professional, let me know when they are coming and for what. They listened to me when I asked that they not spray any pesticides outside as I am trying to make our yard more pollinator friendly and to not use poisons to control the chipmunks as we have several owls and hawks in our area.
Weve used Ehrlich for the last couple years and their backroom/customer service/accounts payable has been nothing short of a disaster. I signed up for monthly service for ants/ticks/mosquitos/bee control mid-season 2020. They showed up a couple times like they should have end of season 2020. They were supposed to show up on Spring of 2021 --no show till July 30th. A service tech just shows up out of the blue. I let him spray ---he says well be here once a month till snow flies. No one has showed up again and its almost October. They never billed me for the July 30th application, then today ---BOOM ---your invoiceS are past due and you owe us $449.43. Huh?!?!? I called them mid-August because I had an ant problem inside and out ---they said someone would call me to schedule a service call. They never called. Called again ---they said someone would call me to set a service call ---never did. Its clear their backroom has no idea how to run a business. Paying this bill and theyll never set foot on my property again. If you utilize them youre walking into chaos. Youve been politely warned. God Speed. :)
I have had multiple requests to dispute a terrible service. I keep getting the run around now. The tech was at my house for 5 minutes and we have never had more bugs than we have this year. Terrible service and terrible company. I have also not been contacted by anyone from my local office to speak to them about this and keep being sent to the corporate call center. They state they cant do anything unless authorized by the local office, who wont talk to me. I did cancel future services and am going with another company. I would steer very clear of this company.
Our service man Shaun Sweitzer went above and beyond to be courteous, honest, and thorough, through the whole process of our services. He was extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this company, and particularly, this individual to anyone looking for reasonably priced, and well executed pest control.
Todd called before he was scheduled to arrive to tell us he was on his way. While we did not hear the message until later, it was a signal that he was a caring and dedicated employee. We pulled in the driveway almost at the same time and he came and introduced himself and asked if we had had any problems that he could address in the spraying. He said he would look carefully and explained he would also be looking for spiders and webs on our back deck railings. He very carefully went around the house spraying around windows and sills and I assume the base area of the house. When he was done, he came again to the door and explained carefully what he had found and taken care of for us.He gave us his card to call him if we had any problemsA good asset to your company and glad to have him servicing our house to keep it bug and pest free.
This company gave us and continues to give us great service! Shaun, the technician did a good job of explaining things and in the work he has done. He also communicated with us through text messages as to when he would be there and answering our questions. Our bug/bee issues have cleared up and the grandkids can now go out to play.I didnt give this company 5 stars because the head office never called to make the next appointment, instead they just put us on the schedule and called the night before to confirm. I would like better notice before someone is going to be on my property.
Matt does our service and he always goes above and beyond. He calls before he comes and is extremely considerate of our privacy. He always checks to see if we have any special concerns before he starts and takes care of whatever needs we may have. And ultimately he is just very nice and professional and he is the reason we continue to use Erlich
I called when I found an epic bees nest in my attic. The bees had made themselves at home so much that they were playing cards, making pasta and buzzing about the days activities. Two of the queens were arguing over whether horizontal stripes or vertical stripes make them look fat.Anyway, a fantastic technician from Ehrlich came out and inspected the situation and quickly applied a powder to the area and removed some of the bees. Within a very short amount of time the Bears had moved on to a better place, which was not my house.I then hired Ehrlich to provide regular inspection and application to my house my barn my treehouse my greenhouse and various vehicles on my property. The results have been fantastic.In the very rare occurrence that I have seen some pests I have placed a call and a technician has come out within a day to take care of the situation.The technicians are very professional, very communicative, and extremely friendly.
Ehrlich Pest Control has been fantastic! We started using their services about two years ago and we no longer have wasps or hornets setting up shop on or around our house or property. The spiders and other insects have also been kept under control and it makes for a more pleasant time enjoying the outdoors during the summer. Shaun texts me and lets me know when he is coming to spray and gives additional information that is very helpful and informational. I highly recommend their services.
Service was great at an affordable price. Our Service Specialist Chris was so polite and informative. He arrived on time, wore a mask, covered his shoes, walked me through his process, bugs he found and when he would follow up.I highly recommend Ehrlich and if Chris is available, ask for him to help you out!
Ehrlich technician ANDREY was exceptional. He was thorough and professional. He helped us identify our spider problem in our warehouse and resolved the issue efficiently. The initial call to Ehrlich was also a positive experience. The initial contact was handled professionally and the lady was extremely pleasant.
I had an excellent experience with this company. We have had them out to help us get rid of ants in the Spring. This time it was birds nesting in the outside vents of the house. Brad Campanella came out to look at the problem and give us an estimate. Ryan Wildsmith was the technician who took care of the removal of the birds. Both men were a pleasure to work with Ryan did a thorough job and told me what he had done. I would definitely use this company again.
Simple review. Ehrlich does a very good job. We have had no complaints. Service techs are courteous. Because we have an annual service, We get an advanced schedule and if we need to change or if there is a conflict, we make a call and reschedule. The service provides us with a pest free environment. Happy in Cleveland.
These guys Have been amazing Brad did our inspection he was fabulous he was always there for me when I needed anything or had a question.. Ryan Wildsmith did my final service and was phenomenal I would love to have him come back if I ever needed your guyss service again he had tons of information very very nice . She informed me of all the work that he was doing walked me through everything he was great
I work at a state university and we have used Ehrlich as our primary pest control company For many years. Ryan Wildsmith is an excellent technician! He is extrememely knowledgeable about pest control and thorough in his treatment. Not only is he a skillful technician but he is efficient and communicates well with students and staff. 10/10 would recommend!
Adam from Ehrlich has been spraying our house for bugs for five years and we couldn’t be happier! We love the subscription plan they offer, so we only pay a small amount every month and are covered in case of any unexpected bug sitings like bees or pesky springtails. We have a very very old house, so having a reliable and trustworthy exterminator is invaluable to us. Adam is just that!
I have never had a problem with Ehrlich in the five years or so Ive been doing business with them. They arrive on schedule, keep me updated if there is a problem and always do a fantastic job! Every employee I spoke with from the office to those in the field have been nothing but professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend this company!
Weve been using Ehrlich Pest Control for many years now. Their service is great. We are on a quarterly schedule, and if there is ever an issue between visits, they will come out (free of charge) to deal with the issue. (We typically have an issue with wasps and hornets in our area)
I agreed to an annual contract price with a customer service rep. They charged my credit card more than the contract price + tax before any service was performed. I have called 6 times and no one has returned my call or adjusted the charge to my account. I will not use them after this contract period. Sure do miss the folks at Hoban! They were honest and prompt.
Best customer service experience ever! Ryan Wildsmith was extemely knowledgeable, highly skilled, efficient and super friendly! He came out right away for the extermination and glady returned when I saw a couple remaining yellow jackets. I would not use any other service. We are customers for life. Thank you Ryan!!

By far the best customer service we have ever dealt with. Samantha was very helpful with scheduling someone to be here the same day. She even was able to diagnose the problem via text with a picture of the ants. Not to mention she was soooo patient and nice.The technician that did the treatment (Ryan) was very knowledgeable, gave great tips for prevention and even helped me move a couch to the tree lawn . Have been a Hoban client for several years. They were purchased by Ehrlich. Hoban always called to schedule spraying appointment. They left a message if no answer. I have the inside of my home and the inside of my garage done so I need to know when they are coming out to spray. Ehrlich just shows up. They spray the outside (I assume) and are gone. I have contacted Ehrlich about this and while promised I would get a phone message for future appointments, it never happened. I just received another quarterly bill for out side spraying. I think Ehrlich does this to save spray and time. They say they charge the same for an inside and outside spray. They just make it nearly impossible to get an inside spray.
We used Ehrliich Pest Control last year and was so impressed with their service people, as well as their office staff , that we called them back this year and have asked them to put us on a quarterly maintenance schedule. Use them ! I think you will agree that they are some of the nicest, friendliest, most professional folk around.
They do a great job.... i havent had any issues so far.... they show up when they are supposed to.... they always seem to resolve the problem, whether it is with ants or spiders or mice.... i live near wooded areas so i tend to have more bug issues than probably others....
In the past when service was handled locally there was none better. Since Erlich has taken over, it has become a certified train wreck. Customer service (or so what they perceive as customer service) is handled through Reading, PA. They no longer ask when they can schedule your appointment, the dictate when. Service locally has to follow their instruction and have taken customer service from excellent to poor. The local techs are outstanding and dont know how they put up with the ivory tower ineptness. This is becoming a sad story
Tim was very patient with me and VERY helpful. I am doing major landscaping changes and he answered all of my questions regarding possible complications from pests. And he was careful to limit the spraying around my windows which I just had cleaned outside. Awesome job! A VERY satisfied customer! Thank you!
Love these guys and gals! They always return phone calls within 24 hours (at the very most) and are always courteous and friendly. The exterminators are always on time and courteous. You really do get free retreatments within the warranty time period, with chemicals that are odorless and safe for everything but the target pests. They are very affordable, as if all of the above werent good enough. If you have pests, you need to call Hoban.
Had Bob Petruzzi out today to retreat a carpenter bee issue. Again great staff who interact with customers and leave you with a smile. Cant say enough about Hoban and the job that gets done and the quality of both the work and the employees. We will never use another company for insect treatment to ensure a bug free summer experience on our deck and patios!! Thanks Hoban!!!
We’ve been with Ehrlich for several months now on I’m the 365 plan. I couldn’t be happier with the service and techs I’ve worked with. They are easy to set up appointments with, show on on time and are always friendly and happy to address any additional concerns I have. I highly recommend using them for year round pest maintance or if you have a specific service that you may need.
Horrible place to deal with, signed me up for a monthly program and charged my credit card $45. I called and asked why i was in a monthly extermination program and nobody had an answer. They said they would remove my credit card information from there system and then i got charged again the following month. I finally had to cancel my credit card just to get the monthly payments to stop. Do not give them a credit card number they will charge $45 a month for the rest of your life!!!

Ehrlich Pest Control has recently purchased Hoban Pest Control (I used Hoban for years.) Happily Ehrlich Pest Control has kept on the original office personnel, as well as all of the amazing, efficient, kind and thorough tech staff that comes out to service the home and property. There has not been a time that I have called and not been able to service in a timely manner. And, if the problem were to persist, the tech staff were back at my home for further treatment. I would recommend Ehrlich Pest Control for any residential or commercial pest control needs. Kathy

2022-06-11My problem is NOT with the quality of service actually provided which is 5 star but rather the whole customer service experience which is 1 star. It is not easy to make an appointment or change an appointment….it appears there is one centralized scheduling center which is disconnected from the servicing centers. It’s just a big hassle. We are on a bi-monthly service and we attempted to use their new customer portal where we discovered what day/time our appointment was. Sent a message to change it…no response. Billing is a nightmare….our most recent bill was suddenly about $7 more…. No explanation…no price increase announcement. I called billing and they didn’t have a clue why it increased but someone from the “back office” would have to call me to straighten it out within 24-48 hours. After 72 hours, I called and they said they would notify the “back office”that I called again. This occurred on a Friday morning….it is now Tuesday ..no call. Finally, in examining my bills, I noticed that I am being charged 8.0% sales tax but I live in a county that only has a 6.5% sales tax. Is this a scam? Are all customers in my county being overcharged? How long have I been overpaying? My advice is to move on to a company that can offer a 5 Star total customer service experience

2022-06-30DO NOT USE. I have to agree with other reviewers. The service itself was great, and the wasps seem to be gone. But Erlichs customer service is absolutely horrendous. I spoke with one person and said I would call back to sign up for a program. I was never able to get in touch with that individual again. In fact, I was never able to get in touch with ANY person that could provide any meaningful assistance. And now they are billing me the wrong amount. And every time I respond to the person emailing me, I get no response. Truly a nightmare. I have called a number of times and emailed a number of times -- I have invested WAY too much time in something that shouldnt be so complicated. Find yourself a more local company that will give you a direct line phone to the SAME customer service agent.

2022-06-09Called Erlich in the fall of 2021to get rid of a lot of box elder bugs I had on my house. While on the phone with the customer service rep, I couldn’t get a clear answer on what service paying for exactly. The serviceman came and sprayed for the bugs, which were completely gone within a few days and paid an initial $300. Fast forward to May 2022 and I wake up to the Erlich truck in my driveway, no call, no notice of appointment. The serviceman said he could put some granular down for ants around the house but I told him I didn’t receive any call on the service and had no idea he was showing up. He then told me corporate had taken over the appointments and I should have received a call 48hrs in advance. I didn’t receive any call or email notification. Then I asked if that service was covered under the service provided in the fall, under the initial $300 and I was told yes. I then called customer service and asked the same question and was told yes. Then I received a $200+ bill and it was taken out of my bank account. I was told by customer service in the beginning of May that management would contact me regarding this issue and a refund since I wasn’t notified and it is now almost mid June with 0 contact from management. Why couldn’t customer service tell me exactly what I was paying for and why wasn’t I notified of the service in May? I should not have to pay for a service I was unaware of nor had the opportunity to deny at the time, as it was not needed. Not happy with management or customer service with this company. Both service technicians were at least professional, courteous, and took care of the initial issue with boxelder bugs.But Erlich as a company really dropped the ball on this one. Now I’m out $200+ with no resolution with their “management”.

2022-04-28The problem of mice was addressed but I continued to have a problem with them entering my home. I have a monthly service plan since February and I still have the problem. I called on April 21 to let them know and was told someone would call me by noon to come by, but no one has.

2022-04-20Scheduled appointment for a Monday between 8 and 12 on Friday night I got a voicemail confirmation of the appointment, No when called or showed up Monday morning I called at 12 to see what the deal was they said they would find out and get back to me. I called again at 230 still didn’t get an explanation so at that point I canceled the appointment! I wish they could get me my PTO day back so annoying!Please find another company they don’t deserve your business!

2021-11-26I highly recommend using Ehrlich to keep your home pest free and I am so happy I found them. Service is always thorough and any issues, concerns or needs are clearly explained. Ryan is our technician and he feels like a friend who cares. I feel confident when talking to him that he has taken every consideration and precaution to keep our home pest free. I know if I have a problem I can call and they will handle appropriately and promptly. Cant get any better than Erhlick!

2021-11-02Scott was a friendly and informative technician. I would request him again if I could. Ehrlich as a company is below average. They were better when it was just Hoban. We got scheduled for the same service by 2 different people on 2 different days. I straightened it out with the techs since the front office couldn’t get it right.
