I live here. Only for a few weeks. But so far its been great. Hasnt been any issues. I love my apartment. Its the perfect size and no concerns of pests at all... Even when there was a small inconvenience in the beginning Shamika (property manager) saw to it to make it right. We even switched my move in day a couple times to make it convenient for everyone and she was really understanding about it. There wasnt a question she avoided or didnt answer. She sees to it that your experience is one of quality. Everyone in the building is really friendly as well as the staff.
The office is always open to the people that live at Edgewater landings Im a new person and I can say they have been very accommodating and very helpful with me getting settled here on the West side I enjoy the size of my apartment when it comes to the building you know its not 50 floors up the managers and back the office will go out their way to make sure what you ask for if its in the interest of the building they will get it for you the most amazing thing is that they take on the postal service postal service a lot of packages I left in the office and they will take time to write the names down and well accept the people to come and pick them up because sometime with different people who deliver things make it somebody impossible to get or feel safe to order things necessary for their daily lives, thank you so much Im hoping that I can get a bigger apartment but thats a dude I love the windows they bringing a lot of sunshine and thats one thing I have been missing so thats enough to keep me here and I feel that Im a good person to be living here I dont cause trouble Im a kind person thank you so much love you all God is great.
It’s been a full year since I moved out so felt like finally saying my experience. The first day of moving in we were welcomed by a swarm of bed bugs and roaches. The hallways always smelled like weed , roaches were all over the hallways , laundry room , walls it was disgusting. I moved on due to a drama I went through with a roommate so the landlord told us we were never welcomed back and I don’t really give a damn. Not only they ruined my entire first experience moving out which I automatically don’t count this place is entirely disgusting.
Great place to stay and near the water so if you have kids there are a ton of things close to entertain them with. Very friendly & queit neighbors, spacious apartments, and a great location. I recommend everyone looking into apartments to this place
When I first saw these apartments I thought they were a diamond in the rough. They were affordable and a decent size and close to everything in Lakewood. However, this place isnt worth what they charge you for rent. Pest control does not do their job. I dealt with roaches from an unreported infestation on a higher floor for nearly 4 months. Maintenance once used to be on top of any maintenance request I sent, but the longer I was there requests were not responded to. The building itself needs to be renovated and updated due to multiple occasions of the water and heat being turned off for emergency repairs. If this place updates and thoroughly clean the building itd be a great place to live again. Spend a few more dollars on rent somewhere else for now
The staff is very friendly and accommodating, whenever I had an issue I was able to walk in and ask for any problem. The facilities are fine for what they are, the weight room is a bit small but it does its job. The neighbors I have are very nice and courteous, better than any other place I have been to. The prices are also for what I have rented. I would recommend Edgewater to any of my friends who were looking for a place to live near Cleveland.
I live here and it is pretty cool. The Leasing office staff are nice and easy to work with. They are pet friendly. My neighbors stay to themselves and we have a pool and work out area. Its located in a diverse area and it is near the lake. I would definitely recommend this to someone.
Someone parks their cars sideways behide the 1330 building. No one can park in those five spaces and management doesn’t do anything about it. I don’t understand why the same person is aloud to grill right next to the building as well. This person throws a party every weekend in the parking lot and management doesn’t do anything about that either. This place is so unmanaged and it’s sad.
This is only my 3rd month living here and Ive gotta say its a really nice place to stay. Its affordable, and in a really good neighborhood, with FREE parking which is very rare. No complaints here
I love living here. It is quiet and the staff is wonderful. What makes this place wonderful is the staff. They friendly and they are very helpful. They also keep you informed as to what going on in building and your safety is important to them. I really loved the Christmas party. I came home went to the party and just relaxed and enjoyed everyone. Thank you Shamika and the wonderful staff for all that you do at Edgewater Landing.
Pretty cool place to live. Clean. Havent seen a creature. Property manager is responsive and always available, gets things done. Theres always parking. Convinient location. Walking distance to the lake. People are nice. Noones in your business. Love that I can do laundry on site. Pool is clean. Staff are nice and security too. Very affordable for a single person too.
Great office staff great maintenance staff everyone is so helpful keep up the great work BTW I just renewed my lease as well I wouldnt live anywhere else I love it here.
Very clean grounds & Sandra is very helpful, parking lot is very secure with people always watching, cant wait to get the full experience, with gym pool,park & walking distance to Edgewater park.
We have lived at Edgewater Landing for 5 years and we have seen an improvement in our apartment community recently. The new property manager Shamika Lawrence is doing some great new things to make this a nice community. The people living here are very friendly and the maintenance staff have always completed our work orders in a timely fashion.
Very pleased on what I saw when walking through. I was just visiting a friend and the apartments are really nice. More updated then some around the neighbor hood.
I was a resident for almost 12 years and have been employed here for 11 years. I have found that I enjoyed living here for all those years. My kids learned how to swim here and also made lifetime friends.As of know I am the Property Manager and I am looking forward to my new position. I am also looking forward to planning our residents events, keeping Edgewater Landing a great place to live for our residents and future residents, along with working with my team. Whom are dedicated to their jobs. The biggest positive of this place is that the management team is willing to work with you. They are always available in their office hours and respond well to emails. Any question I have is always answered, there were no surprises when it came to me moving in (they did a wonderful job explaining everything).Also, for the price, you get the most utility of the room. I think it is almost impossible to find a place with a dishwasher and other appliances for less than $700 in the Cleveland area (I was in a one bedroom, Im uncertain of the price points of other floor plans).Overall, I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great price and doesnt want to pay the premium to have the place you live look appear high end.

I love this place. The neighbors keep to themselves, the staff is helpful and kind, the maintenance is quick and will take care of things for you when your gone if you ask them too. I am so happy Im here!!!
This place is absolutely horrendous! The women that work in the leasing office are extremely rude, and lazy! They act as if your concerns mean nothing, and its not their problem whatsoever. Unless it has to do with them charging you for something stupid! But nevemind them cutting your water off all day. The neighbors are loud at all times of the day, and the building smells like weed all the time! I will not be renewing my lease. I suggestto any young professional thats looking for a nice place to live, not to look into this residence at all!!
Cant believe another human being would throw someone to the street when they are down. Especially after my Hubby had stomach surgery just two months ago and it is scary for me bc I am pregnant. . I know he gave notice to move but how can someone be that cold. I am new to this country. Not happy with my first place at all:( Scared!!!The below response is a joke. Others have been allowed to stay in similar circumstances. To anyone in a similar situation, continue to pay the rent. No judge will evict you. Take your time at the very least because they cant just throw your stuff out without a court order. We did not know this at the time. Too bad.
Im about to break this lease. Only been here for a few months and Im disappointed. If I knew I was moving into a complex with people on section 8 I would have went else where. I have been complaining about the heat since October, the only statement I got from the fine leasing manager and maintenance guy was open your oven. I have a cold that I cant handle due to the cold in the apartment. The measures for me has gotten so bad I sleep in my kitchen with the oven door open to get warmth

I have lived her about 5 years. I am very happy with the new renovations in buildings. I would like for them to upgrade the jungle gym for kids. I love being close to downtown and in walking distance of the beach.
HORRIBLE! The model unit looks nothing like the unit we were offered. I was told the bathroom would be updated and the bathroom we received was old and clearly not updated. I also asked about reviews I saw on other sites referring to bed bugs and well as roaches and I asked about that. They said there were no issues with that. We saw them our first night we moved in and refused to see there. They told us they would TRY to get an exterminator the following week or we could vacate. WE MOVED OUT THE FOLLOWING DAY with no where to go. Leasing agents were accommodating other than the fact that we are now homeless. Also, very disappointed in the presentation and cleanliness of the building.
They got Roaches bug problem heavy and they did nothing but come spray my girl friend house which didnt help at all I think more Roaches came after they sprayed and a damn train that go by every 7 min all day everyday
I have no issue my stay at Edgewater are fine. and will renew my lease.The only problem I seen here there weight room ,storage room, pool pass and laundry card not included u pay separately so we can forget the good things they provide christmas party the ladys at office take time to listen to everyone and in the penthouses partys ,summer picnics
-1 star. I applied, & they took my entire security deposit ($200) before I was even approved & I decided to not live there. They wouldnt comply to refund my half my security deposit when the online application says I can cancel within 48 hours of approval & receive half my security deposit back.GREEDY FOR YOUR MONEY
My sister lives at this property and it is pretty cool. She loves the fact that she is on a major busline being that she doesnt drive. I am very impressed by how the buildings look when I visit her.
The move was amazing and I love the area . It is quite and my son loves the playground and I was thinking about having my son birthday party here . Its a a family family building
Building was clean, COVID precautions were in place. People you passed were friendly and courteous. The staff was friend3, courteous, and professional.
I’ve lived here 2 yrs and I absolutely love it! The location is awesome, the property manager is very prompt, and the staff is very helpful and friendly! I plan on being here for another 2 or more yrs!!

This place wasn’t to bad. Had some weird people hanging around and banging on windows. But other than that very afford living.

1. I saw a cockroach running from underneath the vending machine.2. I stood at the lobby door , the residents they ignored ME , They kept going!3. I can hear loud music from upstairs , door slamming from downstairs. During the day , some people have off days.
Ive enjoyed living here, so far. The staff is always helpful and the convenient location is very budget friendly. Definitely worth taking a look!
This place makes me sick, so unsanitary and the people I’m the office don’t care they just want the money they don’t care about the environment then try to be strict about everything don’t waste ya money here.
Edgewater is a great property. I have lived here for 1 year and the maintenance staff responds very quickly when I put in a maintenance request and the new staff is in the leasing staff is very helpful.

Me and my wife have been tenants at the 1330 residence since 1998.Weve watched the changes and transitions of the maintenance staff,the cosmetics of the building,remodeling & rental office personnel.The current regime with property mngr.Shamika Lawrence and her stellar crew show attention to detail,tenant appreciation,professionalism & a sense of priority to issues that are promptly brought to their attention.They hold themselves to a high standard.And I look forward to many more years of their commitment to that excellence!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank & compliment our on-premise maintenance personnel.The expectation of any tenant/renter is that their issues can be handled promptly,efficiently & courteously.What makes this team so proficient is their follow-up to work performed & attention to detail.No matter how big or small.Daily you will see the hard work Olivia puts into housekeeping.And under maintenance director julio Martinez with his already highly experienced maintenance team of Max & james..the expectations are constantly exceeded.Ive personally needed their services on multiple occassions for both serious & basic issues.Day & on some problems late evening.And they were very professional..regardless of time of day. AND AS ONE,IF NOT THEE,LONGEST STANDING TENANTS IN MY BUILDING..THAT SAYS A LOT.
This property seems to be managed well. Public areas are nice and clean.
I recommend cuz I have seen some dumps and this definitely isnt one!

2021-12-15I have lived here for a little over a month and I am loving it so far! I am close to a lot of cool places and the beach! Sandra and Shamika are very helpful and have been awesome! My apartment is so clean and I rarely have to put my heat on. People are very respectful and if there are ever issues with other tenants, Edgewater is always so helpful. Thank you for making my first apartment experience so great!

2022-04-12My first apartment moving to Cleveland. Lived there between 2019-2020Pros:+Location is great! The train/bus stops are close! Downtown, Ohio city, the airport, etc. are only stops away.+Edgewater park a short walk away and always a vibe.+Reasonable price esp for the location. +Everyone minds their business. If you dont or want peace and quiet at all times, this aint the place for you. Its very much alive especially during the weekends.+Diversity, you will see a melting pot, reminds me of apartment living in a larger city.+Apartment was clean and equipped with a dishwasher and ac which was a plus.+Allows pets.Cons:-Package deliveries became an issue, if the office is closed the delivery company often will not deliver, or leave it at the door or in the hallway (doors usually locked). I had to cancel my Hello Fresh because I asked the company to deliver to my door, but oftentimes they could not and the office complained and said they werent responsible for my perishable items, whatever no biggie but something to keep in mind🤷🏾♀️.-Parking wars, especially on weekends.-Sketchy apartment building next door, haha, youll see 👀 👀..-Biggest COMPLAINT, BUGS the bad ones, big @$$ flying waterbugs and creepy @$$ roaches. I know its hard in larger communities, but when you have a phobia its hard to sleep, especially when they bait your apartment to kill them, 😩. I would have stayed another year honestly if it werent for this. They try but a lot of ppl dont care and make it worseI would recommend if you dont mind the occasional bug problem.

2021-12-16Negative: Place needs work. Stuff in the apartment always falling apart. Two bedrooms arnt worth the price to rent. Packages are always being stolen.Hard to find parking at night.Positive: Staff are very nice. Near the park and lots of places to eat or walk around.

2021-07-12Ive been here a little over a month and can say that, overall, its a good deal for an apartment. Theres a variety of people who live here, which is good, but those more inconsiderate neighbors can ruin the experience by not respecting quiet hours or leaving trash in the stairwell/hallways. That being said, the upkeep could also be much better, as Ive seen some of the same trash in the hallways for weeks.The buildings are also right next to a train track. For some, thats comforting. For me, it can be bothersome, but you learn to live with it. You also get the occasional loud motorist riding down the road. However, it is close to the beach and many other attractive things, and I like to take trips there.My move-in process was smooth, and the office staff have been very communicative and supportive. Even though Im currently battling with maintenance to get issues fixed in my unit, the office staff are working well with me to fix these issues.All in all, I think this place is worth the price.

2022-04-04Do not move here of u value ur safety ur and families safety ...the drug activity is insane on top of how many time the police ambulances and swat have been outside there buildings for standoffs domestic dispute and the list goes on and on

2021-03-17So I recently moved into Edgewater Landing, which is a great place by far. The maintenance is great here, my only thing is I’ve been complaining about my loud neighbors for way to long and I only been here for 2 months. I’ve complained the first week of me moving in. I had to call security numerous of times and also the leasing office and nothing has yet to be done. I hardly get any sleep here and nor do I get quietness. The leasing office always say that the security has to report the noise complaints to them in order for them to do something about it. But that’s not my problem that they don’t report the issue to the leasing office. I’ve asked to moved to a different unit a few times and I’m always told that there isn’t any available and I find that very much hard to believe. There were 2 wonderful maintenance guys that came inside of my apartment so that they can hear the noise which they did hear it. So if 2 employees here confirmed that they hear the noise, why would security have to do so? Also security doesn’t start coming out until 11pm so I’m left here to deal with the noise and no sleep until security gets here which is absolutely ridiculous. Then the back door of the apartment doesn’t even lock meaning any one can just walk in and that’s so unsafe. I had enough with this place it’s terrible honestly a bunch of lack consideration.

2021-06-21Okay this is a 100% HONEST review from myself personally, I just recently moved in about 2 weeks and so far I LOVE IT, this is my very first apartment and I’m very happy and please with everything so far, it’s CLEAN, 0 bugs, very friendly neighbors, everything was very well put together in my apartment for me before moving in I haven’t had not one problem yet!, I love everything about Edgewater Landing and let’s not forget the property manager Sandra! Omg when I tell yaw she is the truth, she is super friendly very professional and will do anything to make your apartment feel like HOME for you! She will go above and beyond to help, if I have any questions or concerns I know she will do her best to help me out, let’s not even mention I didn’t get to even swim in that good looking clean pool yet!, I also love how there’s a lot of parking spaces so your not always fighting for one and there’s a few built in picnic area’s right outside!, also the beautiful lake view is literally 3 mins away down the street, it’s walking distance!, There’s so many things that I love and can’t wait to experience living at Edgewater Landing!
