Rude,Dishonest,disorganized!We stayed there a shelf fell when i grabbed the towel getting out of the shower. It landed on the toilet lid cracking it before landing on the floor. Just missing my foot. I went to the office,they accused me of breaking it! I tried talking to the rude lady in charge,JOANN, she then charged my account without my permission for the price of the toilet. Then to try to get more money out of us she made false accusations of smoking in the room! Didnt happened.BEWARE!
3/5 stars We come into this motel from a 10 hour trip being a cross from my girlfriends parents at the economy suites so we knew the prices they payed 280 we payed 425 so we figured are room would be nicer we went to pay are 425 that we have reserved are. Room for she tried to charge us 450 we said no sorry mam we had this reserved for 425 she double checked said o Im sorry here just give me 420 my mistake then we started talking she was rather sweet talked motels she told us its a good thing we are staying here we agreed with the nice fountain in all my girlfriend asked if there was a bathtub so she could soak she said yes youll love it we proceed to are room first thing we notice the fridge is smaller then are cooler her parents was a full size mini fridge but we had a sink and a microwave but they had a dresser and a tv in a wall with a.c. wall unit rather nice and updated bathroom rather nice go back are room we have a window a.c. unit ask about the wall one manger guy over phone was rather snobby about it saying it was broken got a table 2 chairs no dresser but a lampstand and a computerstand with are tv on it check bathroom no bathtub oldschool stand up tile showers no joke start hot water in shower ice cold! You have to start the showeshower and the sink for 5mins gov or take before the shower gets hot and the water pressure in the shower is terrible saving grace for this motel and made difference between the other 1 showers there s got fast pressure yours nope peace and quite here over there trouble if your into it big difference cleanliness of the rooms are room cleaner earned them this 3 stars! She was so sweet and nice never felt like are stuff was in danger she cleaned everyday for us with fresh towels and have us w.e we asked chairs for a game night extra pillow you name it she was very pleasant to talk too to a great ppl person across the street you have to beg and they treat you bad for asking if you can afford it I recommend coming here just cause cleaning service is that much better thats it! Dont be fooled by that fountain 3/5 stars!
My fiance James n I stayed from 2-12 to 2-14 20 n so enjoyed this old fashion motel it was warm hot water n cutest lil bath tub but so useable!
Very nice clean and quite motel. The owners take pride in what they do, American owned and operated. I would highly recommend this place.
Clean and cozy, very affordable in the $70 - $90 range. Amenities we had were fridge and microwave. Friendly at check in and very helpful.

The people that identify themselves as the owners are very rude , deceptive and liars during our stay the toilet tank cover got cracked they gave us 3 different prices that they paid for the toilet first $129 then the next day it was $250 then the next day it was $99 and told us they got it at Lowes and said you could not buy just the lid thats what they said Lowes told them so I called Lowes and you can just buy a lid when confronted about it they got very rude and had charged our card already I ask for the old toilet told me no I cant have it they smashed it in the dumpster I ask for a picture of it they wont do I ask for the receipt or a copy of it they will not supply me with that these people are very dishonest I would advise everyone not to stay here also there is no water pressure no heat control room was freezing beds were very old and uncomfortable did not get any sleep this is a bad place to stay we will never go back this place doesnt even deserve one star
Love the fact theres a decent kitchen.. the shower is sexy I love it! Could use a fan in the bathroom though
Cozy and quaint. This motel has cute rooms with antique furniture, detailed landscaping, and welcoming hospitality.
Clean, quiet, simple accommodations, affordable, and the staff was friendly. I was biking through and the location was close to food and drink.
Do not stay here will go somewhere else because the beding smell really bad and the sink had hair all over the place and then they lady said it was not her room it is me and the guy sad that he would give me my money back and call to day and they said that they are not going to and they are rude to the people I will not stay there

The ac unit in our room does not work. When brought to the attention of the owner he came to our room turned it in and said it works.Just because it turns on does NOT mean it works! It blows warm moist air and the room smells like a locker room..... he then says well you can leave the window open. I guess. Shrugs his shoulders and walks out.After going to the Gas station across the street for fabreeze we come back to spray down the bed and carpet; when turning down the bed sheets we find what appears to be a fecal stain on the sheet!!!Now we call the desk. yet again, this time they actually tell us they dont care! And hang up the phone!We checked in this afternoon only to make sure it was reserved bc of the holiday and went straight to a family picnic. We come back at 10:30 pm to this absolute joke of room and then are laughed at for complaining!do not stay here they are crooks and run a joke for a motel!Calling better business Bureau first thing in the morning!Oh I forgot to mention that someone had used the toilet and didnt flush as well 🤢

2022-05-02This is an extremely well maintained and clean motel. the parking lot is very bright, the landscaping and grounds are very neat and the check-in was fast and painless. my single person room has a nice couch.

2020-07-08Save yourself the money and stay here! Our room was spotless and the owners wereextremely nice! One thing that really stood out was the well lit parking lot and the factyou could park your car in front of your door. Convenient and safe! I actually woke upand thought the sun was up but it was just the lights in the parking lot!Dont worry though as they have room darkening shades :)The rooms have air conditioning and comfy beds.Keep up the good work guys!

2021-07-30Called and made reservations on July 15 for the following sat July 17. Got into town at check-in time, was told we had no reservations. Produced our confirmation number and still got argued with. Finally got our 2 rooms. A week later got charged yet again. Woman refuses to resolve the matter.

2021-07-17Really friendly folks. Took care of our fishing party, last summer.Nice. Quiet. Easy access. Benches outside the rooms to enjoy a cigar, drinks, and conversation. The men & I, we had a great time!Yes, the rooms are dated, but not old. I would say theyre nostalgic. Everything you need, without all the frump.Btw, weve been staying there 4 years in a row! The place just cannot be beat!

2019-07-08An amazing motel. We stayed across the street for one night and had to get out. Were MUCH happier here! The owners are amazing and have been a great help with my mother that had some special needs. Our room has been clean and very nice.

2016-10-01I agree with the poster that said its more like a guest room in someones home than a hotel room. If you want quiet, cozy, and clean, then this is the place! Very nice at the desk checked us in without a reservation. Nice touches too, like the old time desk lamps and flower arrangement on the dresser. Great place to stay!!

2021-08-28Booked a room. It’s was an over booking. They did not have a room available. Still charged and has not refunded. We have called and they are short with us and have not resolved this issue.

2018-09-28Very nice Mom and Pop, old school motel! Clean! Quaint! Reasonably priced! Bed in #14 is uber soft, a little too soft if you have a bad back and need firm but oh so comfy !

2015-09-17We frequently visit the Ashtabula area and stay the night often. We called ahead to reserve the room and the guy that answered the phone took down all my information and said we were good to go. Everything appeared to be smooth sailing. Wasnt until we got there that changed. The lady at the desk (who identified herself as the owner) was extremely rude. She gave our room to someone else! She claimed there was a problem with my information and blamed us for a mistake HER employee made! Didnt even have the courtesy to notify us of the mistake! I went across the street notified the clerk of the situation and gave us room there NO PROBLEM! In my eyes the clerk at Economy Inn saved my weekend. I will be going up there again this weekend and definitely WILL NOT be booking a reservation with Edge O town motel EVER AGAIN! Economy Inn will be getting my business from here on out. They were wonderful!
