Eden Park in other cities:
Eden Park is a beautiful area. Cincinnati Parks Krohn Conservatory and Cincinnati Art Museum are located in this area. We went to see the Butterflies of Bali show. What a beautiful collection of butterflies; there were hundreds of these beautiful butterflies flying around us and one cannot help but feel how special they are.
Eden Park is very beautiful. With amazing scenery and so many places that overlook a beautiful city..I love taking my family for walks throughout this park.We are here at least once the twice a week!!An amazing spot to just throw up a hammock or lay out a blanket and watch the clouds pass you by..An amazing park to just throw out a yoga rug or mat or meditate to the beautiful sounds of nature..Eden Park is very amazing when you experience mother nature and its beautiful scenery..Highly recommend 🦋🖖🏳️🌈💚
Really nice park stopped by on way through the city. First the upper area looking over the river then the other area past the tower and that had a park across street and a little board walk. Walked my dog and stretched legs. Beautiful view and the people were really nice to talk to.
Absolutely love this park! The view is beautiful and its always filled with people cooking out, walking their dogs, or children playing in the park. I love watching the ducks and just walking around with my fiance enjoying the beautiful view, flowers, weather, children, animals ect. Definitely recommend this park to anyone taking their children out, wanting to have a family gathering, or just to go by yourself and clear your mind and get a little peace!
Containing nice walking areas, lookouts over the city and river, playgrounds, cool buildings, ponds, and flowering trees, this is a very popular park - especially in the spring. Sometimes on certain times of the day/week when there is beautiful weather, it is way more crowded than I like. But it also has some of the prettiest flowering trees around that area. So its also very worth the stop.
So close to the city but still peaceful. Benches at the overlook is soothing watching the river roll on by. Picnic area at the twin ponds with the ducks is shaded.Whole park is beautifully landscaped. Of course the Krohn Conservatory and the Art Museum can easily take up a whole day.
Good:- large variety of features and landscapes- lookout featuring river views- beautiful gardens with bridges and water features- great playground for the kiddos- plenty of well maintained walking paths- remnants of historic reservoir are fully accessible for exploringBad:- nothing bad to reportHighly recommended!
Eden Park has always been one of my favorite places. The old city parks calming nature is particularly striking in Spring, when the trees, daffodils, and tiny wildflowers bloom. A great place for a leisurely, gently hilly stroll and to overlook the river from several points. The park has a couple ponds throughout, as well as the lovely Krohn Conservatory (as of March 2021, still closed during covid, fyi - though still pretty to walk around outside of) and Cincinnati Art Museum (for which you need reservations for now).
I bought a condo in a highrise across from the park. I love walking in the park during the summer. It offers great views of the river and city along with Krohns Conservatory and the Art Museum. Lots of beautiful areas, ponds, and hills. They hold events in the park throughout the summer.
Beautiful. Enchanted. Great Views. Theres something about Eden park that is exquisite. Theres what I believe it to be a reservoir, You can walk around to admire and get in a nice walk. Eden park is perfect for families, individuals and couples. You can enjoy a picnic here, walking paths, riding your bicycle. Theres A lot of wooded areas and wide open spaces. Parking available throughout the park. I think there may be a public restroom. Again, Im not sure. Conveniently located minutes from OTR and the Business /City center/I-71.
Nice park. The nearby neighbourhood is also called Eden park and is a historic part of Cincy. We visited the Krohn Conservatory in Eden Park which was featuring the Butterflies from Madagascar show which was a truly fabulous experience. Its a great place for a family outing, picnic, walk or run. Highly recommended.
Pretty-looking but the overlook area is one of the most sketchy places in Ohio. Also ALL the bathrooms at the park and even at the nearby Wendys are ALL CLOSED (maybe trying to reduce drugs/homeless people?)Youll often pass police cars scattered about to, so that made it feel like they were ready to respond right away, which made it feel even more sketchy 😂
Ive grown up going to Eden Park its a family favorite!! I love the addition of the stairs which are great for working out. Its always something fun to do whether its playing on the playground, visiting the Art Museum, or attending a performance at Playhouse in the Park. The best part is seeing the view across the river.
Eden park is such a beautiful little Cincinnati gem.Dog friendly, but please bring your own poop bags and pick it up like an adult. - I dont have children, but children do play in the area.Pick up your trash, because theres designated trash cans they go into at this park (no excuse to throw any on the ground or near the trees)Ive noticed a lot of free climbers and assisted climbers using the wall which is awesome! A lot of general activity here, which is refreshing to see.Beautiful flowers and a lovely setting to capture photographs. Please enjoy the ones Ive captured and uploaded!
A beautiful place in the heart of the city of Cincinnati with a beautiful view of Ohio River and Newport. There are small waterbodies in the park which has lots of Mallard ducks and Canadian geese. The park has several trails which help you unwind after a long day at work. Also, be sure to visit the Mirror lake for a wonderful evening walk. Overall a great place to visit. Giving 4 stars because of late the maintenance didnt look great(maybe due to weather and/or pandemic). I had visited the place before and can say it was awesome earlier.... but still I would keep visiting it!
Always a joy to be in the park and greet others who are there enjoying the atmosphere and surroundings. I especially LOVE looking out at the Ohio River and the boats. Walked through an historical area where theres a tree planted for -- either every state or every President -- I forgot which. LOL
Huge park near downtown. Lots of trails to walk on. Dont miss the Conservatory which has an annual butterfly exhibit. At the lake, there is a nice overlook of the river - great place to sit and eat lunch or read a book. Lots of intersting statues to see there as well.
This park is one of our favorites, and a great example of how the great philanthropists of the past gave back to their cities. It has gorgeous old details and walking paths that overlook the river as well as wind through nature and feel secluded. The dual duck ponds next to the playground is what marks this as one of our favorites, as well as the tucked-away depression-era shallow swimming pool. Plenty of marvelous places to pick up some food in Mount Adams and then bring to the park for a lovely picnic before enjoying a show or the museum. Overall just tops!
Used to be such a beautiful park, but now I dont feel comfortable going back. Pot smoke, loud profane music, used heroin needles, beggars, and large rats are just some of the wonderful things you can expect for your next family outing if this is the place you plan to go next. Trying to make this funny but it is actually terribly sad to see. I loved this park so much as a child. Many days I have spent driving RC boats in the pond which is now filled with trash. Please Fix...
Im not sure what the intent of this park is, but it is not a great park for a walk. It is completely disjointed with minimal walkways. The walkways dont even connect. There are more roads through the park then trails without even any crossing areas to cut across the road. You can take the bridge by the lookout but if you have a stroller it doesnt work well with the stairs. Outlook is scenic. Playground is mediocre and not safe for toddlers without close supervision, lots of edges to fall off. Great green space but hard to enjoy. If Im comparing parks, two stars may even be too generous.
Park is beautiful and the people were very nice. Provided us with recommendations and suggestions on where we should visit during our stay in Cincinnati. It was fascinating to be able to sit in Ohio and look over the river to Kentucky. Very, very close to the butterfly conservatory.
Needs more variety in certain areas of crowding an need more private places to rest relax enjoy a nibble or two an they need to clean up the trail areas surrounding the walkway instead of letting it go wild its creepy kinda and not appealing to look at. Over rated area for me
Really liked the park, its beautiful in the spring time when all the flower trees are in bloom! The only bad thing was all the trash and alcohol bottles people left everywhere around Mirror Lake😱...you would think people would have more respect for their citys parks!
Lovely view of the ohio River. The park its self is a great place to look at the view or just hang out. They also have a nice playground with swings. Theres also a less taken path that if you hike up you end up at another look out. It is pretty steep so do be warned. In the right season the park also has wild mulberry bushes and honeysuckle which is a nice treat. They have ducks and geese there, they have a sign up saying do not feed them bread. But they can eat oats, rice, sliced grapes, cracked corn, birdseed, and milo seed also pees.
This park used to be a beautiful, impeccable place to go. Now it is a garbage filled, litter box.The ponds had garbage floating in it. Litter all over the grass and picnic areas. I loved this place, not so much anymore. It needs to be monitored and fines given. Its to much of a treasure to be turned into this!!

2022-03-14Darling playground with woodland theme, rated as most appropriate for ages 5-12. Our tall three year old could do most of the climbing activities. Theres an exceptional amount of litter around the periphery of the playground, it would be nice to see it cleaned up. Bathrooms were not in service during our visit. Parking was limited on a Sunday, everyone looked like they were having a great time.

2022-02-10This Park is larger than you would think! It goes around Cincinnati art Museum and Krohn conservatory. Its never that busy but its a convenient location if you plan to go to the art museum or conservatory. Large enough that you can get a good walk in. Has some elevation changes. Ive had a good time everytime Ive been here. Cant wait to go again sometime soon!!!

2022-05-23Beautiful scapes and scenic park for a great stroll experience. While there are quite a few slopes and grades, the museum added steps for those who want an extra challenge.

2022-03-23Needed to kill some time. Ended up spending a little over two hours here. We love plants so it was time well spent and might have gotten a few ideas for the house plants.
