Ecco shoes are so nice. Last forever. This is my fourth pair. On average I can comfortably wear them for three or four years.

Spent $314 at the Sketchers outlet store after the jerk of a so called manager asked me to leave because their return policy is rediculous and I voiced my opinion on it. The only dirt on the bottom of the shoes I tried to return came from THEIR dirty floors but he refused to take them back!!!

This review is for ECCO the company, not the shoes. I bought my third set of shoes direct through ECCO USE, as I have been very pleased with them previously and wanted to honor the company versus buying elsewhere after getting 4 years of use out of them. No good deed goes unpunished: realizing I purchased size 46 - which are very narrow - instead of a 47, I go to return the shoes one day after receiving the order, expecting a free return as advertised on the website EXCEPT, the fine print is that Im supposed to make an account first. Being a normal guy, I dont know if I did or not during the order, but I cant find the email confirmation so I call Customer Service. I have to call 5 different times just to get the menu to respond - eventually getting to an Old Lady who was ever-so-kind to tell me to make an account for free returns - but that wont save me the $25 for this one. No exceptions, no consideration, see ya and goodbye.EDIT: In addition to this negative review, I sent ECCO USA a message regarding my frustrations through their Facebook Account. Trish went out of her way to provide me a pre-paid label and was both apologetic and polite (in spite of my rant). I updated my post here to show my appreciation for her gesture, and I hope to exchange for the right size and continue to enjoy the brand. I also hope that company Representatives will follow her lead the next time someone calls customer service directly.

I personally love Ecco shoes, however, my experience shopping at this outlet store, was horrible. The manager is rude, and will never adjust the price, even if its marked wrong by themselves. The client spends time choosing the right pair at their budget, and find out at the end that the shoe costs two times as much, because they put the wrong price. The woman store clerk was especially rude, when she ripped of the price from the shoe box in my face, and stated that I dont need to by them, in an in-your-face voice tone.

The store lost a $200 sale over 10 bucks. Would not honor the BOGO 50% sale because there was a $10 difference between two pair of shoes. The clerk said he would do it, the manager said he would not.
