Love this place. It is clean, very well kept, QUIET, and close to everything. Every resident I have come into contact with here is super super friendly as well which is not always easy to find!!!! I love the office staff. They are on top of things and are always very patient and helpful if I have questions. Maintaince requests are always taken care of promptly, and the emergency maintenance lady is great and super sweet and friendly. never an issue to get a hold of her. Currently I rent a first floor one bedroom. I love that the units look brand new and fresh. Flawless, honestly. This place took my breath away when I first came to check it out and nothing else I looked at could compare. people complain about the rent being high for a small space for the 1 bedroom first floor, but if you continue looking in similar areas like Pickerington for example, you will find a NICE and newer apartment complex like this one will cost $100-$200 more a month for the same model. Given that I was looking for something that looked and felt fresh and new, this was the most reasonable place I could find on the east side. Youre also paying for location and convenience...look around you. youre SUPER close to literally everything you could need at any time ever lol. I will say that the first floor one bdrm units are absolutely perfect for just one person and maybe a small pet or 2. Id recommed an upstairs unit for 2ppl for sure. . I was worried about renting a first floor unit because I read many reviews with complaints on how residents can always hear everything the upstairs neighbors are doing, but I have had absolutely no issues. you WILL hear them occasionally, as you would in any first floor unit with someone above you, but you will not every single thing they do ALL the time like people say unless they are just abnormally obnoxious people. I voiced that concern before moving, and upon doing so, the leasing office told me that they have hardly any noise complaints, and also to take noise complaints very seriously, and I can now say that in all my positive experiences with them although Ive had no noise issues, I would have no reason to doubt that they would handle it. Most people have also complained about the railroad tracks in the back of the complex, but I have only heard the train once... I do live towards the front of the complex but still close enough to hear the train, so maybe it comes mostly during the day while Im at work. Idk, but it has not been a continuous disturbance like many people say either. The planes flying above with the closeness to the airport doesnt bother me. to me, it isnt loud enough or frequent enough to really be annoying or disturbing and to me the windows do a good job of blocking out most of the sound. It isnt like the complex is one of the hotels RIGHT next to the airport to where it sounds like the plane is going to land on the roof of the building lol. The pool is beautiful, the gym is just enough for me to do what I gotta do.. and being a single woman here living alone I definitely feel 115% safe. It is well lit at night. No suspicious activity that I have seen. No people just standing around hanging out. The trash compactor(yes there is only one) is towards the front of the complex which does suck if you live towards the back but that is a minor issue that I would say you could live with, with everything else being do great here. Another thing i love are the large grassy areas. Very pretty and well kept and just perfect if you have dogs. Ample space for you to take them out and walk them around. It is also just beautiful to sit outside and observe. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. This place really needed some current (and positive) reviews so hopefully this helps anyone who is deciding whether or not they want to live here. Seeing a review like this before moving would have really helped coming to a decision less stressful, but Im glad I decided to make the move regardless of the other negative reviews! Id recommend this place to anyone!
The apartments are okay, cheap builds (apartments needing constant maintenance), rent continues to go up each year (on my third year, has gone up 60 dollars since Ive moved in). Neighbors are a hit or miss, of course. Planes and trains are a bit noisy but not too bad. Its a decent area thats getting worse and more ghetto as time goes on unfortunately, as these things happen inevitably to the nicer areas. Maintenance workers are pretty decent folk. Ashley at the front office, who has been here for quite some time, has a chip on her shoulder and gives attitude anytime she can no matter how much humility you show and how much b.s. you go through with your apartment thats falling apart. This showed, of course, after she got me to sign up. Just a cold nasty person she is, no matter how much kindness you show; its always your fault type of attitude. Corporates attitude is a bit the same for this location; kind of the we dont care but well do what we can to make you shut up without acknowledging issues youve brought to our attention. So you get the sense that leadership doesnt care overall. Rent goes up each year a good bit, yet small things like power washing the grime off the apartments to keep them looking good are neglected. Parking spots are a joke; each apartment seems to have constant 2 vehicles a piece to them (significant others, etc living there yet not on the lease) so when it comes to those who actually pay rent, youll be lucky to park in front of your apartment or anywhere near it, especially after work hours. For the area and price, its alright. Thing is, that price is going up while, again, overall maintenance lacks and the quality of the neighborhood (and city) declines and continues to see apartment break-ins and car break-ins somewhat regularly per year.
We have lived here for less then a year and it’s been great! The price is great, especially compared to apartment complexs we have lived in before. Maintenance is always on top of anything we have needed done. The office ladies are so nice and helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a lake view in the morning as well!
Eastpointe Lake Apartments is the WORST apartment complex, probably in history. The office management/onsite maintenance workers STALK your every single move. If you leave so much as a piece of paper out on your patio, youll be sure to receive a note on your door. They dont even have the common courtesy to contact you directly. Their communication is strictly by notes stuck in you door at all of the night because theyre too cowardous to do it while you actually awake to hear them doing so. I would not recommend this complex to my worst enemie!! If I could give them zero stars I would, but sadly I had to do at least one to post this review. Do not, I repeat NOT move here.
I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs. Its filling up with trashy people more and more each month. The office could care less about your concerns... they just want your money. They even employ people who live there and also dig through the trash every Saturday night, taking whatever you throw out and loading up their blue truck. This place may look nice, but the living situation is the worst out of any community Ive lived at. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Unprofessional customer service...every customer should be treated equally...she told me the availability of the apartment on the phone but when physically I arrived there for touring she didnt even want talk to me...It very sad that when your skin color and physical appearance considered as criteria.

2021-10-01Definitely one of the better apartments we’ve lived in near Columbus. The staff was friendly, maintenance was always taken care of in a timely manner, and done well. The grounds were nice, apartments were well kept and unlike most places, there was plenty of parking. My issue was with neighbors. We had one that would smoke weed pretty regularly and our apartment would, in turn, reek of it. (It was addressed to the staff, they did take care of it but it was temporary since people will do as they please.) and then on the other side of us we had neighbors who would fight non stop and there was constant yelling heard from the walls. Not a pleasant experience for those reasons. So it’s a great place to live if you get the right neighbors.

2022-06-20I lived here for almost 2 years in the Dover townhome. It was impeccable upon move in, management is kind and helpful. I cant say enough nice things about Sara Welk. Unfortunately I had to move because I couldnt afford to live there anymore, but I wish I had never moved.

2019-10-04I stayed at the Eastpointe Lake Apartments for 3 years and loved every bit of my stay. Quiet and clean and the best part is that they reach out to you very quick. It is much safe there as well. The people there who work are awesome on what they do. Ready to help with what you need. Even after I left the place, the people who there are reach out to you if you contact them. Danielle was very helpful to me after my package was delivered to my old address. She reach out and helped retrieve my package. It was quick and easy. They are the best at what they do.

2019-08-17I recently moved out and wish I would have stayed. I absolutely loved living here. The office staff was always nice and friendly. I only had like 2 maintenance issues the entire time I lived here and they were almost always fixed the next day. If I could go back I absolutely would. The apartments are pretty and the community is beautiful. The only complaint I have is that they only have one dumpster and it was on the opposite side of the complex from my unit.

2016-08-24I absolutely loved living here. I just moved out in August. It was very quiet and I never had any disturbances. I felt very safe here. I just moved to Columbus from a small town and that was one of my biggest concerns. The only thing I would complain about is the apartments are not the most spacious, but for one person they are fine. Also, I lived on the first floor and I could always hear the person above me walking and my ceiling would always creek when they walked, but it was nothing I couldnt tolerate. Thats also to be expected when you have upstairs neighbors. The office staff was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. If I didnt need to move I sure would not have!

2019-01-31I take back a lot of the negative comments I made about this community in the past. Although there are some things that could use some improvement like office staff communication and upkeep of complex grounds, this is overall a very nice place to call home. Although we did run into to some issues with a heavy smoking neighbor, the office tried their best to be accommodating when we had problems and worked with us to make us more comfortable and provide a more livable situation. We recently moved out and wish we would have stayed and waited longer for another unit. The units arent bad for the price and office staff is friendly and tries their best to accommodate resident needs. The location is wonderful and convenient, the complex overall is very scenic and peaceful. It is definitely a great place to call home. If looking for affordability and a comfortable apartment home, I would definitely recommend.

2019-01-15My wife and I made Eastpointe Lakes our first apartment together and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We lived there for one year before moving back north to be closer to family. We rarely had any issues and the staff was very pleasant and accomdating whenever I had questions that needed answered. Rent is very affordable for the quality provided and not many places in Columbus come with a better view. I loved drinking coffee in the morning and looking out on the lake. We would absolutely recommend Eastpointe to anyone searching for an apartment in the area.

2018-01-12I lived here for over 2 years and I loved every minute of it. The office staff is amazing and always always took my concerns (if any) seriously. Overall a quiet neighborhood and convenient location. Yes the rent does go up each year but I think it does to avoid the ghetto people being able to afford to live there. I have no cause for complaints. Well maybe one... I wish they had sidewalks.

2018-09-22We currently live here and have for almost 5 years. The staff is amazing!!!! Prompt attention to maintenance issues when they rarely occur, staff is polite& kind.It is SO nice, my mother moved in a few buildings over when she could no longer manage a large house. She loves it too.An example of how nice the staff is.... my mother took daily walks with her walker. When it became too warm, she chose to stay inside. The staff was so caring, when they saw me they asked how she was and let me know they were so used to seeing her, they wanted to make sure things were ok. Knowing they have her best interests in mind, makes the world of difference to me.It is a great place to live! Quiet, pretty, safe. And the neighborhood is very diverse, simply take a walk through the neighborhood, youll see. My neighbors all are just normal professional working people, and if you say hello, they are kind and say hello back.As for the comment about people going through the trash.... people leave furniture in front of the trash compactor because the items are too large to be compacted. I am VERY thankful maintenance comes through and removes it, which in turn keeps the area clean and presentable. They also keep up with keeping the goose droppings (for those of us close to the lake) cleaned up daily! Never an issue!!To the staff.... thank you!

2019-07-11Eastpointe Lakes has exceptional staff. Specifically Danielle. From the moment I called in she made me feel comfortable and welcome. She did an amazing job with helping me make the decision to apply and pay deposit over the phone without physically seeing the apartment due to my not currently living in Columbus right now. She took the time and sent me photos of the model I was interested in and that meant a lot to me. Kudos to Danielle and Eastpointe Lakes! I am more than satisifed with the service I have recieved and I cant wait to move there in September!
