This mall looks straight out of an apocalypse wasteland movie set. Things are falling apart, 90% of the stores are closed, it smells musty. Handful of boutique type places/small business stands. I was shocked to even see a place this run down in operation. We pulled into the parking lot and thought surely this was an abandoned mall. Nope, still open. Bizarre.
Fifteen years ago Eastland Mall was going by the wayside of the old Southland Mall... Its still here! Ive been gone from Columbus for the last eight years and I did not expect to find this place here. The Eastside definitely need new development opportunities as long as the Eastland Mall stands, money will she away.
I figured with this being the grand opening the staff would’ve been welcoming and friendly but NO. Didn’t get a chance to try the food because the environment itself turned me off. None of the staff were smiling nobody greeted us they actually were looking at us as if we were not supposed to be there. This is exactly why some people don’t support black owned businesses. Me as a black woman take pride in supporting deserved black owned businesses. However if the business has poor customer service, lack of friendliness, poor product quality etc I will never support them. Change staff!!!!!!!
The place has nothing to really offer since there are hardly any stores open there. How ever i wish it was like it was a long time ago plus it would be great for that area it would be great for the people who live in that area. Lets bring EastLand Mall back to what it use to be.
A vintage dying mall! They seem to care about it and keep it pretty clean. A lot of shoe stores and local businesses plus a vintage lids. The parking lot can be a bit rough in spots pavement wise. The mall feels like you stepped back in time, but in a good way. Id avoid the restroom at one of the main entries. It looks like it was in a war zone. Just watch out for the shoe hustlers. Hope this mall stays open for everyone to enjoy.
Over grown with weeds and plants, this entire mall looks like something straight out of an apocalypse movie, like 80% of the Mall is empty everything is boarded up and it looks insanely run down. This place needs to just be completely shut down and torn down and hopefully used for something better then over grown plants and homeless people hang out spot. Rather build a brand new mall thats better, apartment complex, or a strip mall like idle something to bring this area back to life.
A husk of what it used to be. The stores remaining are mostly low to mid tier clothing and shoe stores. If you like to support local businesses, maybe stop by because a lot of the shops seem to be family-run (at least, I have never heard of them before). The food court has gone up in price overall though - every stall charges $10+ for an entree/combo now so if you want to save some money, there’s plenty of fast food joints right across the street.
A good place for seniors especially to go walking for your health. You can walk around outside for more steps. Little to no traffic and you have assess to sidewalks. Two restrooms inside available if needed also water fountains. Open up now at 11 due to the pandemic situation. I am thinking that is why. Wear mask 😷
For Years Me And My Family I Have Been Going To Eastland Mall But Now Days Its Just Been Left Run Down Not Any Stores Barely In It Its Said This Mall Would Have Slot Of Potential If Yall Will Fix It Up Put A Movie Theater In It And Better Stores Stop Leaving Are Mall Run Down Fix It Up Wat Yall Waiting For Thats Not The Only Thing Everything Out East Been Taking For Us Stop Doing That Put Stuff Back Out East Instead Off Leaving Areas And Buildings Out East Run Down Period.
Had a good and most importantly to myself, different variety of stores. Friendly and Welcoming atmosphere, buut bathrooms are very shady for sure as well as parking lot.The womens bathroom toilets first off are toddler size (just throwing that out there)and it was also not the cleanest. The parking lot was a disaster and is very tightly packed ! and trashcans are knocked down all over. More pros than cons overall though.
Eastland Mall is fantastic now that Buckeye Motor Sales is there facing Refugee Rd.My daughter and I were looking for a car 🚗 with a specific amount....Bradley and Steve went above and beyond to find the perfect car!The sales people Cody and Amy were so much 💗 fun to work with.Got the job done ✅.Fast, efficient and trustworthy!!Highly recommend5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Most of the mall is vacant. Except for “Grills” store (mouth jewelry that went out of style 12 years ago) and shoe stores.Nothing but a certain culture goes to that mall. All you hear is arguing, fighting and people who have belts on...but their pants are around their knees. 🤦♂️Don’t go. Unless you’re looking for a gang shootout.
All of the Malls should have been fixed up. Northland, eastland and westland malls all had potential to redesign and include stores and more restaurants that are in other states that we don’t have. I hate driving to Easton and definitely Polaris it’s a hellacious drive for me. Since COVID came in and screwed us around I guess on line shopping will just have to do. #keephopealive
I used to go here as a kid, but now its just a husk of what it used to be.Sure theres Foot Locker and a couple small businesses, but other than that, its just not the same place it used to be. Hopefully it will be under new management in the coming years and doesnt become a dead mall.
It starts to coming back again.. Hopefully they can turn it to be good soon.. more stores opening again..Nice Food court, variety of food.. Couple of men Decent urban stores.. For real clothing Valentinos is there as well..New management, hopefully could do something.. It is feeling more unsafe to be there..
Very sad and depressing to see how this mall has gone down hill over the years. Inside there are more empty spaces than anything else and no effort to freshen up the space. Outside it looks like the property has been deserted .The parking lot ans surrounding area in poor care like the landlord doesnt want to invest any amount in curb appeal
We all knew eastland was pretty run down at this point. Body Jewel was the last reason I ever came here and its gone now which is unfortunate but thats not the reason I wont coming back. Its because we are in the middle of a pandemic and there are required mask signs on all doors, but no one. Not a single person was wearing a mask correctly or at all. Shop owners and patrons. We saw one other person with a mask over their nose and mouth during the brief time inside. We saw more than 20+ people with no masks on. Most shop employees had masks no where near them. This is not a safe place to go. I repeat EASTLAND MALL IS A SHOPPING CENTER RAMPANT WITH COVID19.
This mall is atrocious. Half the shops are empty, hours are adjusted to cope with massive theft, parking lot is an eyesore and owner doesnt care. There are virtually no established businesses here anymore, just start ups that are often not there your next visit. The food court has gone the same route, it used to have national big name restaurants and now its whoevers rented the spot this month. Avoid at all costs and go somewhere decent.
Dont know why people say the mall is closing, dirty, run-down, no stores, etc. Just because the anchor stores are gone, doesnt mean there are NO stores. As far as clean goes, they have regular cleaners going around with cleaning carts ALL day. The outside my not look all that great, but the inside is very nice, especially with ALL the Christmas decorations, music, Santa, and the Christmas Village. Still a nice place to come shop, walk, get a cup of coffee, and enjoy your time spent at Eastland Mall!
This will always be a go to place. Its just sad that all there billionaires dont want to invest and make this place great again. Polaris and Tuttle mall will always be great but why do we have to drive 25 minutes away to shop. The community may have its down falls but the right security and the right stores will bring the customers! Think about it!
I grew up going to Eastland Mall. They do have all the good shoe stores, but thats it.I dont feel comfortable having my mom come here by herself to grab her grandkids shoes or presents. Honestly, tear it down! Not only is it an eye sore but alot of crime happens here and only a small percentage of stores are open.
There is not much left in this mall now. All of the anchor stores have closed. Most of the name brand stores are gone, but this has allowed for some small private shops to open which is nice. Not much left in the way of the food court left either. If youre looking for urban wear, shoes or hats however, they have you covered!
Not much left at Eastland Mall these days. The anchor stores are gone as well as Bath and Body Works and Victorias Secret. There are more empty storefronts than open businesses now. Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker are still there... For now. There was a few things open in the food court. There is an overall depressing feeling when you walk through here. I remember when I was a teenager and this place was in its prime. Eastland was the place to go shopping and hang out. Now sadly it just seems to be barely holding on.
Complete ghost town, stores open later then they use to even though the mall opens so early. The moral of the stores are at an all time low and its going to further kill whats left of Eastland Mall. I will serious businesses would come back to the mall. Businesses that opened when the mal opened, heated customers like they wanted to sell something or even businesses that cared about their workers as well as their employees.
Inside the food court there are two restaurants that are amazing. Evelyns Table this restaurant servers quality Southern food & Bakers Table this restaurant serves smoothies, delicious cookies, muffins also have beverages & pies. We had exceptional customer service. When we got home my 3 year son was asking for more cookies. I highly recommend these two restaurants at Eastland mall.
This place has gone down hill. Its sad this is the oldest mall in Columbus, and really screwed the pooch with the anchor store Macys buying Kaufman. They were never able to recover, and now the mall is hanging by a thread with urban clothing, jewelry, and shoe stores. If they bulldoze the anchors, add store variety, and hire security the mall could see a resurgence
Most of the stores are closing Bath & Body Works are no longer there Victorias Secret is no longer there. But one of my favorites the oil bar is still there this is probably the only reason why I still go there for my oils once that closes I will no longer be going there. The food court there is terrible each time Ive eaten there Ive gotten food poisoning. But overall the mall itself is very clean and neat the people that work there are pretty friendly its a nice place for young teenagers to hang out its drama-free.
A formerly busy shopping mall which has very few stores left. However if you are looking for more than one shoe store, a massage spa and a still in operation food court, then this place might be for you. The comfort food restaurant on the corner of the food court was the only good one there, the Mac and cheese was on point.
Grew up in Pickerington and went to Eastland Mall several times a week from 1985 to 95. Drove by out of curiosity first time in 25 years... incredibly depressing. Building is falling apart, nothing is maintained, so sad. Sitting at stop light to leave the parking lot and a guy walks up and starts pissing on the Eastland sign missing the E 10 ft from me in my car... says it all. Things like this is typical for the area, why the mall is dead and will never return. The aera is preventing customers to come spend their money. All of Hamilton Rd south of Gahanna needs to be burned to the ground and started over again.
The design inside is actually great; very unique for a mall. It must have been awesome when it was full of shops, but now I go there and fantasize about defending it from zombies and bikers. If youve never been, walk around before its permanently shuttered. I hate to see it go, but its over.
My favorite mall to shop at!! I love the capability of being to shop without the large crowds on a regular basis. However, I understand that this is why they are slowly fading away. Revenue definitely matters. I truly hate to see it go!UPDATE: I can see someone new is working extremely hard behind the scenes to bring this beautiful mall back to life!! I’m extremely excited to see what happens!! I definitely have faith that it can be brought back to life! I posted Sue’s Massage prices fir you guys. It’s the butt cheek massage for me. The best hands on the city as far as I’m concerned! I have to gather myself after every massage because they have me feeling like jello after every session. Thank you Sue’s Massage! Cudos to you for hanging on through it all as well. I’ll be back again and again! To the man and team working behind the scenes I see you all the way down to the gentleman refreshing the parking space lines outside. Thank you so much for giving my favorite mall a second chance!!Separate Update on Sue’s Relax Station in this Mall: Just go guys. They will put majority of your life back together through their massage techniques!! Head to toe just go and support. I have no complaints about this place. My only fear is passing gas during my massage because it’s that relaxing. Other than that the entire experience is amazing. You really do have to gather yourself and remember where you are once the massage is over. Across from The Oil Bar just go. Whoever that is in the middle of the mall with the loud music please turn it down so we can enjoy our massages in peace- respectfully or play some slow jams Lol Thank you.
I came in here for the first time in almost a year I ... Me and my son were craving Auntie Annes and I didnt feel like driving all the way to Easton. To my surprise it was closed down 😢 We walked around just to see what was open. There wasnt much to see. Half the stores are empty and closed. Victorias Secret and Bath & Body works are gone! I cant see myself ever coming back into this mall honestly. How could they close Auntie Annes? What is a mall without pretzels? lol. I read some of the other reviews..And I agree with what someone else said. They should revamp the mall and have all local shops and independently owned businesses. They need to do something before Eastland closes down for good.
I don’t know what the owners is doing to this place but I wish they stop. This mall is going downhill and it have been for years now. The owners don’t care about this place. It’s scary to walk in and it’s so many empty storefronts omg. But the stores that are here is nice. If you need a going out outfit or nice tennis shoes or some soul food then by all means go to this place.
The mall is not like it was back in 2000 major stores gone JCPennys,Macys,Sears how did the down fall happen. Where them jobs go closed stores people are growing need work to pay rent put food on table and buy clothing everyday things like wealthy americans that used people to get a head. Now they turn their back and act like they was never there. They have rude adults come in trashing the place as if because of the low income area they treat the area like trash.I was told that day visiting the eastland mall they had Military personnel Visiting trashing Military different now no honor .
Its still relevant but barely. I remember going as a kid with all the stores open, a store that sold fresh made cookies (dont recall the name but yall know if youre old enough) and it was such a nice local mall. It still has some staple stores but is pretty desolate and the food court is even uninteresting. I do hope they keep up on it and not let it fade off.
I love it at Eastland. I have tried the make-up shop, it was great but not today. The restaurant was good and they pretty cheap and affordable clothes. Rainbow got the best. I love buying at rainbows. Me giving my bae a treat in the electric massage chair..love it. Its growing, new shops Everytime.
This mall used to be a great place to shop but the surrounding area is crumbling. People call Eastland the Hood Mall. Most stores are closing which is not a good look. They need to focus on the shopping experience, safety and keeping the mall clean. Maybe one day this mall can flourish again.
In the 80s and 90s this mall was one of the coolest places to go. These days the mall has really fallen off. No WiFi no anchor stores, and empty stalls all over. There used to be a cool arcade there but even they had to leave. All thats left now are a few hold out stores and a half dead food court. This mall would be better as a Dan Bell Dead Mall series video than it is to actually visit. The cops even use the old abandoned Macys as a weapons training area, so no chance of that ever being able to be a business again. Overall steer clear of this place. Theres not much worth doing in there that cant be done at any of the other malls in town.
They had a carnival up there with lots of rides for the kids fun games food everything its just beautiful took my daughter and granddaughter got them up thing on a wrist a ride to your rights all night you got there about 4 p.m. and stayed almost to midnight so great occasion
Eastland Mall is so hard for me to go to. I remember when it was bustling. All the anchor stores are gone now. I guess that is what is happening to malls all over. Eastland is still trying to make it. I go to the Oil Bar for oils. Hope for the best. It is the only original mall left in Columbus.
This place has went downhill. The last couple times I was here there was lots of fights. Some of the fighting turned into gun shots. They do have a few shoe stores, but dont waste your time here. Go to Tuttle or some other mall. You will be thankful. If you so happen to go here then be careful.
Dunno how this mall is still operating, over half of it is decrepit, weeds plants growing up through the sidewalks, etc. They must know something no one else does. Kinda a sad sight to see a huge mall that had some renovations not too long ago it looks like dying like that.
Eastland Mall has become more like a ghost town. There are hardly any stores open and very few people shopping. I went in, walked around, and left. I dont plan to return. Unless you have confirmed and know specifically that an item you are looking for is there, just browsing would be a lost cause. I guarantee you will be disappointed.
Horrible management killed this once booming mall. The food court is full of knockoff restaurants. For the most part the mall is clean and is a decent place to buy shoes. But unless your in the market for shoes and dont want to go out to another shopping center, dont bother with this mall.
Went to Kids Foot Locker buy my daughter school shoes and never heard such racial slurs made at my family by the employees will never go back there again went in the Foot Locker next door and got absolutely no customer service I wont go back there either just turned around and walked out so I give you no stars and no business
Its beautiful and clean!!! The mall is empty which is sad but if people start frequenting more often Im SURE it could pick back up. All of the shoe store are still there. Champs, Kids Footlocker, Footlocker, Journeys, Finish line and Footaction. Claires and that one jewelry store where everything cost a dollar. Like 8-12 jewelry stores. Excited about that one! Of course Lids. Oil Bar!!!!! Rainbows, Kids 4 Less, Remos, like 3 other mens clothing stores the one store for women that sell extremely risqué fashions (YAAAAASSSSSS), JimmyJaz, Premier 7, alteration shops and the food court is still jumping!!!! The mall is beautiful and so many people still are running their businesses out of there! Even the massage chairs are still there lol. My favorite plus the masseuse is still in there. Custom made shirts and buy already limited clothing. You should visit. Youd be surprised.
Eastland Mall was true destination shopping for my family when I was a kid in the 1970s. We would drive up from Chillicothe and spend the whole day shopping at all of the stores. I remember feeling very sophisticated eating a ham and cheese crepe for lunch at the restaurant on the second floor of Lazarus at the table that overlooked the two-story water fountain. All of that magic is long gone, as well as most of the stores. Eastland Mall is still, however, making a go of it. Although its a shell of its former self, it is clean, well-maintained, and the few stores that are there are worth going to. It now has a much more local feel, with shops catering to the community.
This mall has been in a steep decline for a long time now and it has now reached a point where it really isnt worth your time to go there unless you have no choice. In many ways, this location is an exact metaphor for everything that has gone wrong with the East side of Columbus. The staff in the stores are rude, service is nonexistent, and on weekend nights the place basically turns into a hangout for thugs who are looking to start fights and cause trouble. There have been multiple shootings here in the last few years, there is nonstop drug trafficking taking place in the parking lot and I have a long list of friends who have been mugged or had their cars broken into while here. Like I said, unless you have no choice avoid this location.
Theres a jewelry shop that you have to be careful of, they do not have quality stuffs. There return police is isolated, theyll only put it on your face when youre returning there fake product. I bought an item from them around mid day, I ended up having a better quality in the evening, they refuse to refund my money. Really! BIG DCAMMERS!
This place is such a disgrace its almost laughable. Pathetic. I wish they would just demolish this mall but no...this place is hanging on by its last breath. Went there with my husband and baby so she could see santa and oh my gosh...j-just no. Never again. What kind of low quality santa was that? Also hardly any stores to go to, choices for stores are so limited. Never going back.
This mall has the best shoe stores and food. for years i wondered why it was failing, why the anchor stores were leaving.... THEFT! THEFT! THEFT! the boosters was pretty busy over the years and now whats left for paying folks to shop for?? those stores were forced to leave because people stealing... stores cant continue to pay mall leases when the theft is higher than revenue. im just saying... every action has a re action now we driving all the way to Easton smh!
Eastland Mall is the last of the Big 3 malls in Columbus, Ohio that were built mid-century. Westland and Northland Malls are closed now. With a heavy heart, I have to admit this one doesnt have long before it suffers the same demise.Eastland held a special place in my heart. Every Christmas, we went downstairs in Lazarus to look at the Trim A Tree display when I was a kid & purchased an ornament before heading upstairs to eat at the fancy cafe, and I passed that tradition on to my son. The big fat decked out trees in the Lazarus basement were the most beautiful trees Id ever seen.I had a job downtown when I was 17, and instead of going to the City Center Mall, I decided to save money and purchase my prom dress in Mariannes inside Eastland. That dress still hangs in my old closet in my mothers house. All the books I ever bought were from that bookstore near Sears. All my eye appointments were at Sears optical. All my pictures as a kid that werent Olan Mills pictures were taken inside one of the flagship stores inside that mall. My first date was at the movie theater inside that mall. Now, all of that is gone. Nothing is there except a carcass of days gone by, with a few local merchants, sneaker spots and a food court inside.Im sorry this review is so much longer than it should be. I just wish, if the owners are reading, that theyd consider bringing in a flagship store or two, repaving the lot, and renewing the old charm I remember. Even adding a Walmart would be better than whats there now.
I used to work for the former management company who keeps getting the blame for Eastland’s current demise. This is all the new “management company” has to say, to keep the blame off of themselves. The ownership is an out of country slum lord. He does this with all his properties. (See Bel-Aire in Detroit MI.). The city and tenants are all suing him and his accountant. Previous management tried extremely hard to make the property nice, but they refused to pay for anything! And I mean anything! Look at the current property as its sitting with the new “management company”. Weeds and grass is almost as tall as the mall itself and the roof leaks everywhere, and some of it is falling down. Strong odors throughout the mall and the current staff sometimes goes weeks and months without getting paid, and they have absolutely no clue what they doing. If anyone thinks for one second this “management company”, and ownership cares about the mall and them, they are sorely mistaken! He only cares about his rental income. Look at the Columbus clerk of courts site, and see all the multiple leins currently on the property (“Eastland Mall Holdings, LLC) from them not paying what they owe people. I’d steer clear of this property! Also no new tenants have been signed since previous management left. Only closing tenants. So sad.
It used to be nice. But they started closing down stores less people shopped there. Or maybe because less people shopped there stores began to close due to slow Macys is gone and so is JcPenny I think. Sears is next. Everyone goes to Easton Town Center now. Itll probably be like Eastland in 5 years.
This place is horrible!! I advise any repair or HVAC companies to stay away. They owe a lot of people money for work they have done. They will give you the run around on who are to talk to about getting your money. The business is going under and they are using people and dont care. And the customer service is even worse!!!! How are you a business and have people come perform work and then not pay them!
I only go here to get out of the house; the only stores I go to are Spencers, body Jewel, and bath and body works. Most of the stores are closed down and pretty soon the mall will too. Too much drama happens over there and a lot of store owners are scared of getting hurt 😟😟
In our busy schedule we allowed time for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory while watching the relaxing view of the varied fish in the HUGE glass wall of the Aquarium directly opposite the restaurant. Managed to drag the family out without spending too much in the mall on what is basically available in shopping centres world wide.
It is really sad that my childhood mall has been reduced to this. The department stores are all closed and there are only a few people that walk through this mall now. It might as well be closed. Well, I guess all there is, is Polaris or Tuttle Crossing as far as traditional malls go.
They have a great discounted kids store in this mall called Kids for Less next to Rainbow in there which I know their discounted clothing shops but for someone on a budget these are great I go there at least once a month to see what they have and of course I purchase a lot especially for the children
Im going to disagree with posters who say this is a dead mall.It isnt dead, but it isnt the same kind of mall that it was when I was a kid in the 1980s and 1990s. Back then, it was a traditional mall with anchor stores Lazarus, Sears, and JC Penny and there was a sizable Woolworth as a quasi anchor store that closed in 1997. This was the place where you could buy anything you wanted, have dinner, and see a movie without leaving the mall.Malls are closing everywhere due to online shopping. Northland and Westland are no more. There are still a few national stores at Eastland like Spencer Gifts and Foot Locker, but all of the anchor stores are gone and not likely to return. Instead, the mall now appears to have many small businesses that are locally owned. The owners are able to do this due to low rents and have their hopes and dreams with these businesses. Some of these owners are first generation immigrants who bring their skills and talents from their homelands. T and M perfumes is the only place I like to buy cologne because the owner is so knowledgeable and personable and his selection is better than Sax and Nordstrom....so are his prices. Spencer gifts is just a fun store and has been at that mall ever since I remember. The Tropico Caribbean Grill in the food court is the only Dominican restaurant in the city...and I will say its the best food of any food court I have ever eaten! There are plenty of other businesses that I have no interest in, but others do and were shopping there. Will Eastland survive? I doubt that it will be a traditional mall again, but it may became a model as a mall for small independently owned businesses.I give two stars for the places I like here...Tropico Caribbean Grill, T and M perfumes, and the long time Spencer Gifts. I give an additional star because the mall is still clean and well maintained, including the restrooms. The final star is that small business owners are here and I hope that the mall becomes a destination place for them.
Theres not much left in this mall unfortunately. Due to the type of area it is, theyve taken out almost all the Big chain stores . Few jewelry stores, shoe places, massage and eyebrow stops, kids areas. Theres a Claires & a Spencers & a Body Jewerly place too. GNC is still there I believe. Again, most of the mall is closed or bare though. Dont waste ur time unless you absolutely have to go into this mall.
I have been coming here for years to come to the oil bar to get my smelly goods! Body oils! My only complaint is that the rewards program is STILL the same when I first discovered this store at Tuttle mall in 2011!!!!!!!! come on guys! Other than that still a loyal customer!A more recently body jewel! Jasmine is amazing love her! Shes one of the managers! Have questions ask for Franklin! He is knowledgeable and Billy Gruff! The Dm! Phenomenal Customer Service and Beautiful Jewelry!
All of the major players have pulled out of this mall which has left any decent stores to struggle and a influx of bargain stores to fill occupancy voids. Might as well visit while its still here because the expectation that it will be here in the next five years is pretty low.
With no anchor stores left, there really isnt much holding the place together. Several shoe and t-shirt shops. Along with some fad type dress shops. Add in a couple of jewelry stores, a perfume hut, and thats about all there is. You dont have to worry about dodging people, if youre trying to get your cardio in! LOL
Obviously not as nice as Easton, Tuttle Crossing, or Polaris mall, but still has some nice stores to offer. Sadly though, if the amount of traffic that comes in here stays the same, it might turn into westland eventually. Then again, you never have to worry about the place being busy!
Got my ears pierced at Claires about 3 weeks ago and they were great. The lady was friendly! But I miss all the big stores you had. Its a pain driving to tuttle just to go to jc pennys it was easier to come here but oh well. Not much here anymore, back in the late 2000s early 2010s this place was booming i used to come here all the time but there is like no stores left that are good except kay jewelers and Claires.
It saddens me to say this, but avoid going there! This mall is so run down and empty it is a waste of electricity to power the lights on. I used to go here and shop back some 40 plus years ago when this place was in its glory and glamor but the area has become poverty stricken.
Still a good place to shop. Eastland Mall may not be what it used to be but it is what it is and its still a nice place go shopping. The Things Remembered store is the main reason I enjoy shoppng at the Eastland mall. However there are several clothing, jewelry and shoe stores that have a variety of offerings for the under 40 crowd. The east end of the mall has a surprisingly special offering for your wedding, party or meeting needs with a beautiful wedding dress, tux with alterations store, photography studio store and even a venue area that you can rent out to hold your wedding, meeting or small reception with food options. The Clares and Spencers gift stores are fun options as well as the Oil Bar where you can create your own soaps, aroma therapy scents and more. The center of the mall has a nice little play area with coin operated rides for the kiddies and of course, the food court is a must to complete your mall experience. Athough there are only a handful of restaurants, there is still quite a variety of yummy menu items and it boasts a very large dining area with WIFI. In a nutshell, Eastland Mall is basically a nice indoor strip-mall.
This used to be a nice mall back in the 90s. My friends and I practically lived in this mall when I was in school. Now the mall is pretty much empty and the neighborhood has gone to hell. I wouldnt be surprised to see this mall close one of these days just like northland and Westland malls in Columbus have.

2021-11-19Just dont even bother. Not entirely sure how this building is even still up / existing but my goodness, let the poor building out of its misery. If I could give it less than one star, I promise you I would. Its a shame because this mall was always crowded growing up, I even worked in this mall... so darn sad.

2022-02-14They are so dope! I love they make you feel like family and their fur babies are so cute! My experience was quick, easy and straightforward. He recommended which ones would fit my face and I went with it and 3 days later I was picking them up. Thank you! I’ll be back 💪🏾💯

2021-09-25Mall is so bare but a couple stores are in there my teenagers liked. Customer service suck throughout the building. Food court was closed but I didn’t care. Get in and get out 😂

2022-06-22Definitely got a dead mall vibe to it. Sad because you can tell it used to be great. That said, underground by journeys is a fantastic shoe store, and I hope they can survive when the city bulldozes this place.

2022-06-10Only visit to order from Design Chef or Evelyns Table. Nothing else there interests me. The Mall, if you can call it that is a dead Mall. Whomever owns it has done a lousey job over the years keeping it up, attracting customers to it, and keeping its employees safe. What a waist. So much money could still be made there. Stores do not stay there long. I wish theyd let me run it, I could tuen it into a goldmine.

2022-05-31Unfortunately Eastland doesnt look like they have a lot of foot traffic. We went to footlocker because they had some sneakers that my grandson wanted for his birthday. The two sales personnel were friendly and helpful.

2022-06-15Zero start if I could. How sad. This poor mall was forced to compete with its counterpart mall Easton, then, the ravages of the pandemic shutdowns. Looks like Eastland going belly up similar to the ugly Continent. More eyesore massive parking lots full of weeds and trash, abandoned buildings that sit, like the Continent, unused, decaying. Sad city.

2022-01-12So much fun. Yes they are open! There are a few small unique shops that I can across, that were fun and not expensive to shop in, I will be back... I also found some one of a kind earrings. All my friends adore them.

2022-01-14People and the local media give this place a bad rep and call it dead. It’s actually bouncing back and has a lot of nice local businesses. Everyone I talked to who works there is nice and friendly and the mall has about 50-60% occupancy. Definitely better than when i visited in 2018. It’s clean and the stores are very affordable which suits the demographic of Southeastern Columbus. This mall does a great job of sticking with its customer base and I can see it growing more or at least staying in the decent state that its in.
