Absolute worst. Bed bugs among others. Staff is non caring, especially the administration. They threw away my father’s belongings including family photos, and his cell phone. Constant billing mistakes and putting wrong social security number and other wrong information on state documents.

Had I written this review six month ago it would have been much closer to five stars. The problem is, they had a change at the patient advocate or director level (I dont remember her exact title). My father went in to Eastbrook at the start of 2021 with a number of health issues as his health spiraled and declined. He was in the hospital for almost two years before almost passing away. At the end of the summer, when we knew he was never going home we worked to get my power of attorney set up to get issues taken care of. However, due to the state and city Covid rules at the time I couldnt bring a notary in with me to get the paperwork finished. I had one hospital willing to help me but she tried to reach out to this new person multiple times and they would never respond. Thankfully, during one of his turns of getting bounced from hospital to hospital, he landed at one where they were able to help me and my father out. Every time dad would get transferred back to Eastbook, after the change, the updates became much less frequent. Often times family would ask where he was and I struggled to find him only to discover he had been sent to the hospital and they had not contacted me. His assigned nurse was a god send and would reach out to me personally to update me.With my father bouncing around my dad only ever kept his phone with him, but, he couldnt talk and was very weak so his phone wasnt useful. So, we got him a nice 2 in 1 laptop. When he passed away I contacted them to let them know so that I would stop getting auto calls whenever there was a Covid notice and to get his personal items. I got the phone from the hospital and was told that someone would mail me his 2 in 1. Nothing. I call again. This time the person says they have to talk to this new person and theyll call me back. Again, nothing. I call again, someone transfers me to her. She says they cant find it. I tell her exactly where his nurse said she put it. She says shell call me back. Nothing. I call again. Same run around about both the laptop and Im still getting the covid notices which really sucks when youre trying to move through the grieving process. Still nothing. Weeks Ive gone through this. The messages finally stopped but I never heard anything about his property even though it was specifically put in a closet to be set aside for him. So, I guess when someone dies its free items time at Eastbrook under the new management. The three star review Im giving is entirely based on how much I loved his nurses. They were beautiful and hard working women who are amazing and deserve to work for better leadership.

*A place that I would trust my loved ones to be at*On a visiting day, I observed, and I was quite impressed. With the great leadership of Mark and his team, from Willie at the front desk, to the caretakers of the upper floors. The dedication is 2nd to none. The great interaction I saw between caretakers and their residents with genuine care and compassion, is simply put, amazing.Keep it up your great work.

The worst facility I’ve ever been too! Every person giving them 4 and 5 stars are employees trying to make their ratings higher! Don’t put your family members in here if you love them!!!

Eastbrook is the worse facility to take your love one to for any type of care. My family member was not taken care well nor was she protected. Her clothes were stolen as well as her tablet. It is really very sad to see the lack of respect for older ones and their belongings in that facility . They should be viewed with respect as our mentors. I talked to Peggy the supervisor who hung up on me. So disrespectful. The administrators have turned a blind eye and will never return calls. I am looking into how to file an official complaint to the Ohio Department of Health and a police report for the missing tablet. Horrible place. I wish I could give it a zero.

As a student, some of my access to the facility was limited, and I was not actively involved in each area, mainly the first and second floors. The same may be said with a majority of the nurses/caretakers, so I cannot speak greatly on their behalf. While there in the Summer of 2019, much interior work was being done in several parts of the building, each day, and we even witnessed some of this progress being made to improve the building. After speaking with Holly (who I believe was who was most responsible for running the facility) early in my clinical it was clear that Eastbrook had come a long way since she first came into her current position, with great investment going towards providing a higher quality of life to the residents. While I will likely not be around Eastbrook much in the future, I am excited for whats to come with after these current projects are completed. As stated previously my interaction with the nursing staff was minimal, however if their work ethic is as strong as those above them directing the facility, I can confidently say that the residents are in good hands.

Each time I got to visit my loved one who lives here, the staff is always friendly, always busy cleaning, and interacting with residents. Im always impressed. If I have a concern or question, theyre always willing to listen and quick to respond and help to find a solution or an answer for me. Theyve made a lot of positive changes and done major remodeling to improve the facility too! No complaints at all! Thanks Eastbrook!!

The new changes to this facility are amazing. The enthusiasm and teamwork make this a great place to work. The amount of care that goes into each resident and family makes this facility stand apart from the rest.

One of the worst. Absolutely no professionalism at all. Billing is messed up constantly. They submit bills to insurance that doesn’t exist. Quarterly statements not received and incorrect. Constant turn over of administration. They repeatedly ask for paperwork that has been submitted to them numerous times already. Nursing on one shift doesn’t know what other shift has changed and updated. No contact when loved one was sent to hospital. All they care about is collecting the money.

Very caring staff, quick communication. COVID has made visiting very hard but this facility has made it easy to get updates on my brother. I trust them completely! I can rest easy knowing he is getting the care he needs.
