They have really good prices, and a wide selection.. They did not raise their prices because of covid-19 like most places
Love the variety of products they have here. They are typically very willing to help you find whatever you need. And if for whatever reason they dont have a specific product youre looking for, they are able to recommend something close to it.

Horrible store! Old hair products on the shelf that have lost fragrance and texture. Labels are faded and color of products has gone bad. Oils broken down. Horrible!!
This store is soo big. Anything dealing with hair, they have it. They dont follow you around the store like some other beauty supply stores. ❤❤❤

Prices are good but the store was extremely warm today, hard to shop when youre hot. Was picking up paper products just to use as a fan.

2022-04-24I love EC Beauty. Never had a bad experience with them. Completely helpful. Been going to this beauty supply store for at least 14 years. They actually know me by face. They always have everything I need and if not they will try they get it.

2021-07-07My last time stepping in this store was last week. I will no longer ignore or normalize patronizing a place where the owners, employees etc do not feel it necessary to at least speak to their customers. I came to the store with my son looking for an eyebrow pencil I purchased there and loved. Of course I wanted to go back to where I first purchased it, so there I was. The young man spoke when we came in(I have watched him grow up, he has always been a sweetheart, I always noticed he talked more but soon only said hello, which always made me feel like he was instructed to do so. Anywho!!…. Fast forward to last week. The mother/woman employee behind the counter never spoke, never said a word. I then asked her about the pencil….. all she had for me was “I don’t know” shucks her shoulders then keeps it moving. I then ask “are you okay” she says she’s fine never seeing how the fact she never acknowledged me, despite me standing there for over 5 minutes then never even trying to help me find what I was looking for especially since I said I brought it there previously. I told my son for now on I will be buying black and/on line. They are so arrogant to know we will patronize regardless to the point they don’t even feel the need to acknowledge your very existence. Can’t wait for a black owned beauty supply store to open on 185th.

2019-05-21GREAT PRICES! Male staff very helpful! Older female woman didnt seem very pleasant, knowledgeable, nor helpful about their products. I asked for an itch relief braid spray. She said they did not carry the item. I could not believe in such a huge store with such variety that they did not carry this product, so I walked around the store until I found it... took me a while, but I found it!4 🌟🌟🌟🌟for their prices!

2021-07-24Followed me around like I was stealing. Then rung my stuff up and over chargered me and got mad when I corrected him. Very rude. Felt uncomfortable. Like they where saying hurry up and buy smh.

2019-09-26First time in here quick stop although no one welcome me or stop yo ask if I need assistance in which clearly I did as I was jumping up and down to reach some barrettes that were like 6ft however. Cashier was nice at the check out

Seems like everything they sell is from the manufacturer them selves unlike other hairstores Ive been to where it seem like they sell stuff they got bought from back of someone truck and then try to sell it for cheap in stores

2018-06-28Waaaay too much stuff on display. Theyve got a lot of wigs but its wig behind wigs behind wigs behind... They should have some ponytails on display so you can get an idea of what youre buying. Most of the the time the ponytail in the package isnt what you actually buy. They dont seem to understand nappy from Jeri curl. I feel as though Im wasting money shopping there. Going back to my old shop.
