I truly wish I can give this school no starts parents dont send your child here they have no communication at all. They will leave you as the parent in the dark about your child. To be honest your better off sending your child to Watkins Elementary. Duxberry did not communicate with transportation I the begging of the school year 8/24/17 even though I went to the school to be sure that the got the form 1 to transportation so that transportation did not drop my child off at our home address due to no one being on the other end to be sure my child got in the house safe. I worked at this time 11am-8pm however Duxberry knew my child have been at this school for 3 years and all 3 years I have been unhappy I left my child in this school to get him into AIMS and guess what parents because of their lack of communication Im unsure if my child has a spot and AIMS is his home middle school. Oh and to add on I forgot 8/24/17 I spent the entire night picking my child up from Children Services all cause they did not listen I said I work mon-fri 11am-8pm and Children Services wouldnt even let my child care provider pick my child up by they way this is a special needs child who was afraid and had not one clue what was going on. Oh and by the way this has been my child care provided for 3 years and Ive lived in Columbus Ohio for 3 years their city schools suck and they can care less about changing anything... Its only one teach at this school that I love so much shes a special Ed teacher Ms. Litten like I love her entire soul she understands me as a parent and know I lve my child and will do any and everything for my child... I swear I feel like this school picks on me like it hurts so bad as a parent to want nothing but the best for your child and the school can careless. Ive even lost two jobs due to this school they dont care parent please put your child in Watkins my daughter goes here and my daycare recommaned it and I swear Ive been happy with her growth after Broadleigh Elementary let my child walk home and shes a bus rider by child got lost thank god she was so smart to walk to cvs on James and Broad and speak with an employee to tell them she was lost the Columbus police was called and then they called me thank god my baby was found my entire soul had dropped I truly cant stand Columbus city school however waktins has rubbed off on me but then I still have to deal with Duxberry on the other hand.. Let me not start on the city schools transportation the customer services agents are horrible I too work customer service and would never give the type of service they give I am so tired of saying this .... IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB THEN QUITE IT.. BETTER YET HOW MUCH IT PAY???? I WORK YOUR JOB AND DO A WAY BETTER JOB THEN YOU... HOWEVER I GAVE MY STORY AND TRUST THEIRS MORE... JUST PRAY THIS IS SEEN BY SOMEONE AND NO THE BOARD OF EDICATION WONT DO ANYTHING THEY TO SUCK THEY LET THIS BABIES GET TOSSED ALL THROUGH THIS SYSTEM AND I FEEL SO BAD FOR THEM EXCPECIALLY THE KIDS WHO PARENTS DONT BE ACTIVE IN THEIR LIFE AS MUCH... I know I do and will continue all of their life you can not trust this schools to teach your babies you have to breath down their neck to be sure they doing they jobs correctly and thats sad .......
