Would be 5 stars for selection, price and service department but finalizing the sale had some big city tactics I dont enjoy. Worse of which being they tacked an extended warranty on the loan, before discussing it with us. Thats not saying you cant refuse the warranty, but the financial guy is a little pushy, its gross feeling. When I go to Taco Bell and order a taco they dont toss a burrito in the bag and then have me explain why I dont want it on the bill. You want to sell something and its that good, explain it, pitch it, and get an answer before billing the customer. I cant think of any other business that operates this way. Shame of it is, if not for that single act, they would have had a two car familys business for life, now they are merely an option I may use in the future and never recommend.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough! Everyone there was super friendly and helpful, but especially The salesperson Scott Wheeler! He wasn’t at all pushy but made it clear he would do anything he could to earn my business. The car I bought was detailed and ready to go when I arrived to sign papers. He even took the time to go over features of the car to ensure I understood how they all worked before I left. Top notch job!
Dunning provided the ideal car buying experience for me and it was a blessing. Bob was very personable and patient. There was never a sense of urgency at any point in the process. He was genuinely concerned with getting me the best rate to begin financing. Chuck made the financing and paperwork portion quick and painless. I feel confident with the car I got and the service I experienced makes me thankful for doing business with a local but reputable dealership.
I am blown away with how amazing Toby Gamble was to work with. Between him and Eric McKee they got me into my new car at a payment I was happy with.I would recommend Dunning Ford to everyone. And again Toby was great and I am so thankful for him and that great team there.
Im very happy with the purchase of my 22 2022 Ford Escape we had a 2021 but we decided to go up to a 22 its very nice its got a moonroof and the team that turning was outstanding they got to send it out as quick as I could and gave us a good deal and I thank him very much

Wife and I walked into the dealership looking to trade off our explorer for a newer but used one. Scott Wheeler sat down with us and showed us how we could get into the brand new explorer timberline sitting on the showroom floor. He was excellent to deal with, made us a good deal on our trade in, and my wife is extremely happy with her brand new SUV. She and our kids can ride around in something safe and reliable. Cambridge Classic FraudI made arrangements to purchase a truck long distance where I was flying from Florida to pick up the vehicle and drive it home. The website listed the vehicle as having 76K miles on it, one owner, great condition, etc. On the day of my arrival, a week after I submitted my deposit, the truck had almost 80K miles on it. An additional 3K miles in a week? When I called them out of it, the vehicle mileage field on the website suddenly was empty. Fortunately, I had saved a screenshot of the ad with the mileage. They had no explanation and would not do anything for me on the price.There was less than half a tank of gas and only one key and fob for the truck. What a nightmare experience that I could not escape since I flew in specifically for the vehicle. The salesperson Chad was useless and finance guy was stereotypical of what gives used cars a bad name. There were scratches and a hole in the bumper that were not represented in the sale ad pics. This must have been a result of the owners family using the vehicle while it was on their lot as stated by multiple employees.I have purchased new and used vehicles all over the country over the years and never had a bad experience until dealing with Cambridge Ford.To make matters worse, when I got home and had my mechanic inspect the truck, it has extensive rust and an exhaust leak. So much for Midwestern values and honesty.
Stopped by Dunnings just to look at a few trucks, and Travis Fisher did an excellent job of helping me find the one at a great price, and monthly payments and most of all the wife was happy! He was a awesome sales man through the whole process. love my truck and the service! We will definitely be back to purchase our next vehicle from here.
My salesman, Toby Gamble was first class! I ordered my Bronco with him in July and all the way up to the morning it arrived in October, he kept me posted with new updates and changes. When I arrived at the dealership, he had everything set up and ready. Toby and Dunning Ford are great to deal with!

I wanted to thank you folks for helping a out of town traveler in my time of need. We were driving through the area on Thursday morning and had an issue with my Ford F-350 dually throwing a check engine and reduce power warning. We were approximately 100 miles from home and about 200 miles from our weekend outing with family. The gentleman in the loud print shirt explained to us how backed up with service work you are and even though you didn’t have time to fix it you sent Derek a diesel tech to diagnose the problem and see what what was wrong. Well he scanned it and told me what the codes meant and assured me that we could continue our trip and what to do if we had anymore problems with it. And after doing this, you folks did not charge us anything for helping. Thanks it’s nice to know that there’s still great business that offer great customer services.

If you are in the market for a used car, this is the place to shop! After looking at numerous dealerships in the Mid Ohio Valley, we found this dealership had the best prices by far. Our salesman was Mike Neilson. He was a peach to work with (ask for him if you can!!). The finance department was super easy to work with. By the time we left the dealership, we felt like family. Cant say enough positive things about these guys!
I had been on the search for a nice, reliable SUV for over a month and half. I stumbled upon Dunning passing though the area and decided to stop. Mike our salesmen was amazing. I had a pretty picky list of what I wanted and he helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He was friendly, got the car detailed and ready to go within hours of me getting there. Would highly recommend.

I lost a serpentine belt on my 2017 Ford Explorer on my way home from WV on 77. I happened to be near Cambridge and limped my car to Dunning Ford. Randy Gregg in service found and installed a belt and was able to fit me into their schedule in and out in 1.5 hours. I would have been stranded without their diligence and willingness to get me back onto the road to get home that night. This is exemplary service and I cannot overstate the importance of their prompt attention and excellent customer relations to me. I would drive from Cleveland to buy a car there for this very reason if I was in the market. Thank you so much Dunning Team!!!
I recently had my Ford Focus there for work to be done on it and I was told on 4 days straight that I would have my car back the next day. 3 of those days my car was still not ready for me to pick it up. This is the only vehicle that I own and I had appointments that I had to go to but couldn’t because they kept pushing back the day that I would get my car back. I am however great full that they were able to get a new/used engine for my car at a reasonable price and that they knocked off a bunch of the labor cost.
I had a great experience in purchasing my 2020 Ford explorer. I did have a concern about the radio not working on test drive. I was made aware it needed an update. So I find out its a broken module. So it was fixed in a good time. All happy and very satisfied. Until today..... it broke AGAIN!!! I have it going in to get checked but hope it get taken care of again and hope for the last time. I truly love my suv and dont want to loose it.

Bought a 09 F-150 from here a couple years ago which I’m absolutely in love with th truck runs great and is in great shape. Just bought a 2016 Ford Edge here last week which I love as well. sales guy Toby was awesome played with my 5 year old helping keep him entertained while we was there even gave him some snacks. Excellent and friendly service. The only place I go in Cambridge to buy cars.

I dont normally post, but after my experience with Toby and the crew at Dunning Ford, Im making an exception.BTW, I am out of state...five hours away !I found the truck I wanted online, and called Dunning. Was connected with Toby (very informative and helpful). He went out to the lot and personally checked out the truck I was was inquiring about......got back to me quickly, answered any questions, we talked money ,etc and reached a gentlemens agreement on the phone.I showed up three days later, the truck was clean and ready to test drive. It was as advertised and fit the bill for me. I drove er back home that afternoon......and so far so good.If you want a good deal without the hassle you get at most dealerships, give the Dunning Crew a look-see !

The sales guy was nice in the beginning, reassuring us we were close in trade in price. But when they came back with the numbers they were way off and the sales guy got mean when he realized I was not going to give my car away and I wasnt going to over pay. When another dealership has the same exact car, just different color with lower mileage for a cheaper price why would I buy from you? Sales guy told me they were there to sell cars not collect them! Well maybe if you werent sitting around watching football and help people you might make a sale!!

Was not a good experience..... I traveled from Tennessee to Cambridge,Ohio to purchase a2019 Ford F-350. When I arrived it was not the best weather (rain) to test drive a truck ... butI had viewed it on line for awhile was pretty much set . Went out to get in truck and there were NO running boards. Truck was tall , couldn’t hardly get in . I said to salesperson, what happen to running boards ...? They responded “didIt have running boards ?? I showed her the pic on line ... they said I will get with SM ... an advise him . Sm came out was unaware of the status of vehicle . Said he would take care of cost of newOnes .... so we went on our test drive . Everything seemed fine , got back to dealer andSalesperson said they were removed from truck because they were not safe .. I said ok .. he agreed to replace .. were good .Long story short I get home order running boards ... get them within 10 days .I go to put them on and 4 of bolts that factory puts in are gone , 2 were sawed off and 2 were completelyRipped out ! I have rigged them until I can find a solution to fix !! Also once I was home I have found TAR... ALL OVER TRUCK. It has also scratched the windows ( just about every window) . I could NOT see this when I picked it up in the RAIN!!! Also tar and mud is ALL OVER THE UNDER CARRIAGE OF TRUCK !!! I had to go back and make sure I didn’t miss something on carfax report. I have owned this a little over a month ... and now have discovered improper wiring, that causes defaults saying I have light bulb out or I have a trailer connected !!Surprisingly the truck seems to run ok ( the reason for the 2 star rating ) . Hard to take it back living 500 miles away ... I guess I’m littleTo trusting ... didn’t feel like they were looking out for me ... This is why I couldn’t not recommend this dealership to any one I know .
I went in to Dunning Ford in Cambridge just to figure out numbers for a new car due to the one I had was on the verge of breaking down. They truly helped me out so much and did everything possible to get me in the 2020 Ford Escape to make sure I left with a MUCH better vehicle I showed up in. A HUGE thank you to everyone there who made it possible.
I took my truck to Dunning Ford for an air conditioner repair. The first time I took it, they didnt have the part that was needed. They said that they would order it and call me when the part came in. They didnt live up to that. I called them and they said that they part had come in and scheduled my second appointment. I asked them for a tune-up on the second appointment as well. The day of the second appointment, I heard nothing from them. I called in after lunch and they said that they were working on it and they would call me back. They assured me it would be ready that day. They didnt call me back. I finally called them at 4:15 PM. They again assured me that the truck would be ready to pick up that evening. At 4:45 they called back and said that there was a problem with a coil and they could fix it the next day, but the AC was fixed. I told them to forget about the tune-up and that I would be up to get the truck. The air conditioning worked fine for a day or so, and then it stopped functioning again. This time, it left a green puddle under the truck in my garage. I assume it is dye that they put into the AC unit to check for leaks. I called for the third time to complain and try to get them to make it right. They simply said that they would schedule me an appointment for two weeks later and look at it then. I found them to be very frustrating to deal with, and I dont intend to go back.
My husband,Ed, took my car to Dunning for an oil change. He thought the car would need a new battery, but it tested 100%. Your honesty and expertise saved us approx. $100. The topper of honesty was that Ed forgot to get his change after paying cash for the oil change. Dunning service department called to let him know they had his change. We are SOO impressed! Ed wants to continue having his truck oil changed there, too. He doesnt like express lube and says its not as good and costs too much. Thanks for your excellent service. Sincerely, Gail and Ed Shank
I just bought a car from there and at first look the car was clean but when I got home and started putting my things in it I realized it was very much not clean there was a torn off acrylic nail in the doors cup holder, mulch under everything, nasty staining under the visor and a ball of hair in the mirror of the visor. The car was disgusting. Also now finding out that the lights don’t work and the radio only works sometimes. I’m very disappointed with my purchase.
Trying to trade in my truck on a new one. Many promises and statements were told to me that were not true or did not come to pass. I am patient and still waiting for them to find my new truck. The verbal deal is pretty good. Now we just need to see if it can come to pass.
They are not as customer friendly as Classic was. I have been to their lot looking for a new truck (which I recently purchased from another dealer) several times and no one has come out and offered to assist me in finding a truck that I was looking for.I recently was charged $59.00 dollars to find a problem with squeaking brakes that they previously supposedly checked and told me that it was normal. Obviously they didnt check it very well the first time as the second time they found a brake pad that was installed wrong.On another occasion I had my other car in for service, new tires, tune up, brakes squeaking (which they had previously installed) and they were going to charge me $12,00 to install an air filter I had purchased. I installed it my self in five minutes. What a rip off!Needless to say, I will not be back to Dunning Ford.
The service department is a joke. Took my excursion in for work and was told it would be done by May 1st, and my truck wasnt available for pickup until June 12th! Let alone the fact that this is my work vehicle and I was forced to miss more than a month of work, I was blatantly lied to twice about the progress of the work, Its in the shop with the dash pulled out, were more than halfway done as I stood next to it in the parking lot, dash compleatly untouched. I was quoted a price of $490 for a part and was charged over $570, they did adjust the price for that part but it took over 40 min of arguing to get the price they had quoted me.Will NEVER go back and I honestly hope that this review keeps others from going through the same BS.
I will never deal with this car lot again. Started off with requesting a car fax several times and was not given it until the deal was done to find out the vehicle had been in a small front end collision is how the salesman put it. Then when I signed loan papers was told after 3 payments there would be no pre-payment penalty. I spoke to the business manager 3 times and he assured me all 3 times this would be the case. Went to pay my car off after 5 months and there is a pre-payment penalty of $125.00. I called the business manager back regarding this and I was told He must have been thinking about another bank, Sorry about that, but you will save some interest. This type of experience is what I think of when I think of a used car lot. Not at all the experience I had expected.
Terrible experience all around, didnt even make it home with the vehicle I got from them before it broke down and left me on the side of the road. Got the car diagnosed by a different dealership and turns out its going to cost $4000 to fix it and they refuse to help at all, some of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I thought I was purchasing a vehicle not a useless pile of metal.
On April 5, 2014, I walked into the dealership to look at new vehicles stating my budget and my wish not to have a co-signer. After making a deal for a new Ford Escape, which included signing new loan paperwork, being approved for the loan by the fincance dept.,without a co-signer, and after trading in my vehicle, of which the dealership paid the remaining balance off, I drove home in my brand new car. Three weeks later, I recive a call from the Finance Dept. stating that I need a co-signer for my loan, despite the fact that my initial finicing was approved with out a co-signer necesarry. When I stated I had no one to co-sign, Tara and Matt Widdle informed me that I would have to return the car, pick up my trade in vehicle, and everything would go back to the way it was before. Explaining that, I would go back to paying original car note with the previous Lender and was to be charged nothing. I picked my up my trade and drove home thinking all was rectified. When I got home I realized they only paid $2,000.00 of the original down payment. Three weeks later, the dealership calls to tell me they now own my old car and the note. They want me to get a co-signer and a new loan to pay them back. I was upside down on my payments, and need to pay them $3000.00 in cash that day. I stated again that I did not have a co-signer. The dealership informed me I could pay the whole note in cash, which was not an option. The only option I had was for them to take possesion of the car. Tara informed me they would be there shortly to get the car. They never came. I have made multiple phone calls, to no avail. In the mean time, they are usuing my credit information to apply for new loans for my old car without my approval, knowledge or consent. My credit score has dropped 50 points. I did speak with my old lender who informed me that reversal of payment on my loan was possible.The dealership just wanted to make me pay cash for a car that was already mine. In the meantime I had to purchase a new vehicle.
If 1 stars is the worst Cambridge ford should have a -1! They act like they are doing you such a favor and end up screwing you over ! And when confronted with the issue of giving you A bad deal they are busy with a customer or some other excuse ! Worst dealership ever ! Lied to us about our car fax ! Said it only had 1 owner and it turns out it was a fleet car which dropped our value 10k ! Only finding out the truth after dealing with them! Very dishonest!
This place is a big f***#! Joke. We had our SUV in there because of problems with the GPS and they said it was ok so we go in to get it and it was the same so they kept it for 5 days and said its done its ok and nope same issues. What a WAISTE of time. DO. NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I would of given no stars but had to give at least 1.
Absolutely hate this $hit company told m fiance everything was okay with her car and now they wanna charge her and it hasnt been a week of owning it and they wont make it right their mechanical knowledge is that of a 3 year old Id give it a --------111111999999999 stars if I could would NOT RECOMMEND business with these garbage people Im not trusting my life with the junk they sell
The gentleman sales rep named Mike was outstanding was not even there to make a purchase and he helped me with information stand out in the cold with me,and did not hesitate to answer all questions and just asked for my business in the future thanks Mike youre an outstanding guy

2022-01-22My parents had issues with a vehicle (purchased at another dealership in June) decided it was time to Go!!!!I contacted Mike Neilson at The Dunning group within 2 hours we completed a New car sale agreed on a terrific price that was beneficial to a retired couples budget without breaking the bank.The honesty we received today was comforting to aging parents who felt taken advantage of.Thanks to Mike, Kevin Shippley and the entire Dunning team for taking Great care of my Family Once Again.Would not buy or service anywhere else.Mark A Johnson

2022-02-25If you’re shopping for a new or used car, I highly recommend talking to Mike Neilson. He knew what I was looking for and suggested coming in and test driving the Nissan Rogue sport they had on the lot. After driving it I knew it was the car for me. 2021-12-27Y’all!! When I say this place is the best, I mean they are hands down the best!! I walked in, nervous. This was my first time buying from an actual dealership. I had no idea what to expect, how to handle the process. Shout out to Travis fisher, who made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. He was very knowledgeable, didn’t try to pressure me into a vehicle I didn’t want. Explained everything to me, In simple terms.
