Had a great time celebrating Mothers Day with our first visit to Dueling Axes! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

We had so much fun! The staff was friendly and provided coaching during our time there to help us hone our game. We loved it so much, weve already planned to go again next month.
Decent concept and atmosphere. However there is only 1 type of hatchet style axe you can throw and prices are WAY to high. 40$ per person to throw an axe at a peice of wood for an hour is not worth it besides the novelty of doing it once.
Amazing experience! We had a blast celebrating our anniversary! The drinks were AMAZING and reasonably priced! We will definitely be back!
Me and my wife went there tonight as just something different to do and we had an awesome time! Chloe was our instructor and was awesome! I highly recommend on trying it out!

My son and I went for the first time. We intended on staying for 30 minutes but ended up staying an hour. We had a great time. Staff was very helpful as well. Would recommend
My husband and I came here for a date night. The guy who was working the counter and helped get us started, went through training, And checked on us and talked to us throughout the whole time we were there was great! They have a lot of different game options, food and drinks are available. Overall super fun and great place.
Quite expensive - but if it wasnt for that itd have 5 stars. Service was great, drinks were even better, and the throwing was fun!
Went for a birthday party. Had great bar service. Our lane coach Chole was fantastic. Great help with getting those 🪓 to stick. Also very helpful with getting drinks and dealing with us. Maria makes some great drinks. Also there is great karaoke!
Thought this was a really cool place to go after having visited for a friends wedding after party. However after trying to patronize their establishment for a quick beer and one song at karaoke, i arrive to find the door locked, with several people inside singing and having drinks. Business or personal bar? Standing outside for fifteen minutes, while two employees both see me, but can’t be bothered to even come explain why the door is locked during their posted business hours.
Had such a great time! Second place I’ve been axe throwing and it was definitely my favorite of the two. Friendly fun staff makes the experience even better.
Absolutely love it and will be doing my next team gathering here. Easy to set up reservations and the staff is very helpful upon arrival. Chloe was great in her instructions and gave us great tips so we could actually hit the target LOL. Drinks very affordable and great overall atmosphere!!!
Was not expecting to have as much fun as I did! This place was a blast and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The drinks were extremely good as well.

We had a work outing at this fantastic bar. the staff was great. they were vary patient with teaching everyone how to use there axe throwing techniques. was a great atmosphere var fun and would recommend coming back any time.
We had a blast! I would bring a group of friends back and do this again. They said you can bring food in or have grub hub in to this establishment.

SO. MUCH. FUN.If you are looking for incredible service, excellent instruction, and unbelievable fun, look no further! From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the staff, you are at home. They take such care at making your time with them comfortable (especially in these times). I took my staff of 15 adults and we had an absolute blast! Thank you to Mike and the rest of the staff for making it such a fun experience. We will be back for sure!This place is perfect for a group outing, date night, or if you just want to blow off some steam! The bar is an excellent addition to the Dueling Axes lineup too! Scheduled a noon date for the wife and I. This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve never been to an 🪓 throwing place before… I also have a horrible beard and don’t wear flannel. This place was so much more than what I thought it would be. We had a blast. Because we were there so early on a Sunday it was just us and the workers. We shared in a lot of great laughs and some even more amazing memories. Would have never thought I’d be good at throwing the old wood around… but it was almost natural. Great job! We will be back.

From being greeted by the host Chloe, to our coach Sarah, to the bartender Tim, our experience was phenomenal. They were so gracious and informative. I’ve been to a few different axe throwing locations and this by far was the best experience we’ve had by far. The facility alone was fantastic, clean, and tech but we will be going out of our way (we live quite a ways north) to come back to this one based on the incredible staff alone that we encountered on our visit.
What a time!!!!! I went here for a work group outing and it was a blast! I got to go head to head with my coworkers in an axe throwing competition, the instructors were so incredibly patient will the huge group of us, most of which have never thrown an axe and were super nervous, including myself. Everyone made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to have a good time. The bartender was so fun and joked around with us and made sure we had fun and anything we needed. We will absolutely be going again, I cant wait to take my husband!!

Went as a last minute fill in for someone who could not attend. I honestly was not looking forward to it but was so surprised! It was so much fun with the atmosphere and variety of games you can play. We will definitely go back!
Just left after an evening of tossing axes. Such a great time. Well worth the cost. Our party of 4 played for 2 hours and loved every minute.

Had a blast. Kara was our initial instructor, she did a good job of showing us the ropes. The bar was stocked with good beers. Loved the actual axe throwing. We did an hour and we should have done 2. Only draw back is that everything is on the more expensive side, but still worth the expense. We will return!

I mean…It was genuinely fun. However all that said the pricing at this place is ridiculous. It’s $35 per person for an hour. Not per lane. Per person. (This is clearly posted on their website to be fair, so it’s our fault for not checking) So a group of four would cost $140+ In one lane for an hour. So essentially one person pays $35 dollars for 15 minutes of axe throwing give or take. It’s not like they change the throwing board after every group, our lane looked like it’s been used for a couple of days. And if you want to have a drink at the bar? Expect to be paying 9-11+ dollars for each drink. It’s sad because it’s unique, I liked the environment and really had a good time. But my entire stay I couldn’t help but to be little jaded ruining my experience.
Truly a blast. The staff is very helpful. I had questions about a child coming in at the age of 9. I left a voicemail and the manager literally called me back from his cell phone. He text back and forth, and helped me with paperwork, even correcting a purchase I made and refunded it right away. Truly a fun place to go as a family or a group of friends. The bar is full of what you want. I will be returning. Btw, if you are worried about age of children. They will let them in and throw. Just have to fill out the correct waiver. 👌🏻
I have been there personally and with my Girl Scouts. The lanes are well maintained, everything is spotless, and the staff is fun and very helpful! This is a great place for a date night or a group event!
That was a whole lot of fun! Booked an hour, played a dozen games, had a blast! Amazing strength or coordination are NOT required, just working the method demonstrated with the instructor before you start. Fun for all ages! BYOB.
What a fun time! Darts with axes. The staff does a very good job of educating you on how to throw as it is not as easy as you think. Great bar, great staff, and great time. Fun date night or night out with friends. Highly recommend visiting Dueling Axes.

Recently I took some first time throwers to the new Albany location. I have been to 2 other companies and dueling axes is the best! Matt was our coach and he was great with instruction and also checking in every once in awhile with us. He also let us just do our own thing which was nice. I really appreciate the other gentleman that taught me to throw underhanded. I have shoulder issues and have wanted to try it but nobody would let me. Not only was I allowed to practice but I was taught how to do it correctly. That meant the world to me! You can not learn everything off youtube. My guests had an absolute blast and ate planning to come back! We had so much fun I bought about her hour! Thank you for an amazing experience.

Had a great time throwing axes on my bday with my friends and adult kids. The environment was wonderful and felt large, open, with good air flow for covid safety.
Drink whiskey and throw axes?? Absolutely. Nice place. Set up very well. A lot safer than it sounds and a great beverage selection.

Excellent place to try a new experience or hone current abilities.Great time for the family, a night out with friends, possibly a date night etc.It would be nice to have some type of offered food or snacks and the hourly rate is a bit pricey but all in all a good time.
This was the fist axe throwing experience I have ever had and it was fantastic! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and very informative. I would highly recommend attending.
My only request would be to have a bit more help from the staff with throwing. Overall, we had a really great time!
We love being right up the road from Dueling Axes! We love being able to point our residents in their direction when theyre looking for something fun to do! We would absolutely recommend coming here :)

2022-06-25First time going, took my dad for Father’s Day, and had a great experience. Chloe was our guide and she gave us fantastic, helpful directions and advice. Nice facility: spacious and clean. Made new axe throwing enthusiasts of my parents. Will definitely return!p.s. I also forgot to wear closed toed shoes (of course) and was nicely given new socks to keep and clean shoes to borrow.

2022-04-24This was the most fun! We went celebrating my husbands bday with our teenage daughters. We loved it. Had games you could play while throwing axes 🪓 the people who worked there were so great! Giving tips to throw better offering to get us anything we needed. I highly recommend this place. We went on a Sunday afternoon! Great fun! Bring your favorite food there and eat while your throwing! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2022-04-10Exceptional customer service was provided by Nick the manager for our group of 9 people. I met Nick for the first time last week to inquire about our small group visit today. Nick and the crew went above and beyond to create a perfect group experience. We checked in on Sunday Afternoon, was set up quickly with wavers and payment. The bar provided us with Water and were given a great demonstration. Our church small group consisted of people ranging from 20s to 60s, we had so many laughs, encouragement staff, very clean and nice music in the background as well. By the end of the hour session was enough time for us. I highly recommend for a group activity and we definitely will be back again. The staff was great, Nick went above and beyond, he saw me and came up and introducing himself to the group, offering training assistance, water or anything they can do to make our group feel at home. This extra customer service makes all of the difference to show that they care. Definitely check it out and you will have a blast like we did.

2021-10-23I went here on a 3rd date. Had an absolute blast! I got to release my inner ninja :) the pricing was a bit steep at $35 per person, However it was worth it for the amount of fun we had. This would be awesome as a group activity, but I assume you would get significantly less throws within that hour. Either way- It was a blast with just 2 of us. I recommend

2022-04-02This place was awesome. It was a birthday surprise and the laid back atmosphere was great. You can bring your own food because they dont have a kitchen. The drink selection was good along with the axe throwing. A nice place to unwind with friends and family, and to release some stress.

2022-03-07Went here for the first time, celebrating my sons birthday, and it was a blast! Instructor was good, place is clean and safe (kinda important considering most everyone there is an axe-throwing novice), and most of all: FUN!!! And, Nick at the bar is great - so friendly, and my little grand surely appreciated his attention to making her beverage a hit. :) Definitely will be back!!
