Many places to shop from grocery stores to a bridal store to a bakery and parking is always available or at least when I go they usually have parking. the only downside is that it’s hard to get into when driving, you would have to be driving on the side that it is on so you can turn into in more easily
Location is key to shopping at this location. There are multiple ways to enter and exit the parking center. Therefore, you wont find yourself bottlenecked whether making a quick stop or planning an extended shopping trip. There is plenty of parking and walking across the lot does not feel like a death trap, which adds to the pleasant experience inside the store, too.
It is very hard to get in and out of this center. To go north on Sawmill, You have to cross so much traffic to the left turn lane, nearly impossible. You can go around behind the center for the rear entrance which helps. That being said, there are some good shops and it is worth it!
It was a couple weeks before Christmas when I was introduced to TJs gluten-free Peppermint Jo-Jos. I had to have some of my own!We went to this store first, but they were sold out. One of the clerks was nice enough to call the other store to see if they had any. They had 3 boxes, so they put them on hold for me.One of the other clerks came back from the employee break room with an open box, nearly full. He said I could have them at no charge! I thought that was so kind of him.
This for the center, not any of the shops there. The layout of parking and stores is terrible, it concentrates pedestrian and auto traffic in tight spaces. This, in turn, necessitates the large speed bumps all over the lot. Then there are some large pillars that can hide a pedestrian till they get pretty close to the road. All parking lots can be dangerous, but this one requires more vigilance than most.
It is a strip shopping center. Some stores are good/great, and others are not. Trader Joes is here, and everyone appreciates them. Vincennzos is an expensive high end deli and wine shop. Very expensive, but worthwhile when you want really special products for entertaining. Other shops in center may not be as good. Ridiculous ripoff bead shop located here.
This shopping center has many small shops to include a Japanese restaurant, yoga, bakery, and bridal shop. Some of the high traffic shops include Trader Joes, Enterprise car rental and an Italian take out speciality shop.Several shops in this center have closed and remain empty.I favor Trader Joes because of their products and location. The location is on the South West corner of 161 and Sawmill.
I visit the Dublin Sawmill Shopping Center whenever I am shopping at the Trader Joes at 6355 Sawmill Rd.Many years in the past, I would visit the Dublin Sawmill Shopping Center whenever I would be shopping for CDs at one of the four central Ohio locations of Camelot Music [that had gone out of business perhaps twenty years ago].Entering and leaving the Dublin Sawmill Shopping Center can be a challenge because that shopping center is located very close to a major intersection where most left turns into shopping centers are prohibited. I strongly suggest that you plan ahead before traveling to the Dublin Sawmill Shopping Center. If you are traveling from the south [which is my most common route], I strongly recommend taking Martin Rd. west from Sawmill Rd. [a left turn] and then taking Marcy Lane north [a right turn] to where Marcy Lane starts to curve towards the west [left]. At that point, turn north [right] into the shopping center and then turn east [right] at the first opportunity; Trader Joes will be on your right. If you are traveling from the east, the same Martin Rd. that I had mentioned in the previous paragraph will be a left turn from Dublin-Granville Rd. immediately after the classic McDonalds that is on the right [north] side of Dublin-Granville Rd. and then follow the same directions as above.
Our recent Sunday lunch experience really changed our opinion of Shi Chi. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants.. not now! Terrible behavior by our server & chef!! There wete 3 in our party & there was another couple with a baby at the table, too.Our server (young lady) started out with we dont accept Groupons. No hello or welcome .. We ordered drinks and I mentioned I had a credit..from an expired Living Social coupon. She got on the Groupon thing again. I tried to show her the credit .. (it is the $ amount paid for the coupon) FINALLY, after several minutes of discussion, she made note of the credit on our order. We ordered an appetizer.. and our meals. A scallop dinner (extra egg yoke sauce) & 2 steak & scallop lunches .. one with the egg yolk sauce. The chef came out & confirmed orders & asked how we wanted the steaks - which was medium. My daughter had asked about what one of our sauces was and he stated what it was called..She said but what is it? He responded very rudely .. what do you want it to be called? You can call it whatever you want. Then, she explained..just wanted to know the contents..He said he didnt know.. he only knows about ketchup. That set the atmosphere. Chef (Avoka) did not do the normal routine with the knives, etc. while cooking. We treated him cordially & thanked as he served but little to no conversation. During the meal, I had to get up and get a refill on water myself because server did not come by.. The manager was wiping a table across room.. when he looked up and saw me - he said with a giggle.. ha ha sorry bout that. Our steaks were over cooked & we told server. My friend thot she was getting filet .. but we actually got NY strip. It was too tuff to chew ..she did not eat it I chewed on a few pieces.. We received nothing regarding this .. no redo or reduced meal price for the steak. This is not the 1st incident of a rude chef at Shi Chi that I know about .. Another frequent customer said their family experienced bad service and rude remarks within the past couple of months. Its a shame that they continue to employ staff with such attitudes and poor customer service. We are not planning to go back and will definitely share our experience with co-workers & friends.

2022-02-23Some really good shops here. Trader Joes, Vincenzos (seriously go to Vincenzos, take out Italian that is fresh and homemade and it is really good) and the old school record shop. Worth the stop.

2021-04-03I have been coming to this location for the last five years. I absolutely love Trader Joes. They always have what Im looking for and the prices are very fair. The staff is exceptional. Even during the heat of the pandemic they were friendly and courteous. Will continue to come here as long as I live in the Columbus area.

2021-11-23Not the best parking or layout but it works. I went there to visit the trader joes that is always exploding with people on the weekend. The spots are a little tight for big cars while dodging pedestrians

2020-01-07I love Trader Joes and it seems so does everyone else. It was packed on Sunday. They have really great selections and fresh foods. I always love trying out their coffee sampling. I went in specifically for chocolates. They have a great selection.

2020-02-25Love TJs! Best prices on organic selections. Great prices on dried fruits and nuts and I love their seasonal offerings! This place is busy and can get crowded but totally worth the wiggles as you get through aisles :)
