For the COVID Driving Test: The driving test instructor said “The test starts now.” and took a long pause. My kid started to drive the course. When she finished, the instructor said that she automatically failed because she didn’t do the inspection, even though she never prompted my kid to answer any vehicle inspection questions / do any inspection tasks. It would be one thing if my kid ignored the instructions, but the instructor never told my kid to do anything. The long pause and blank stare had her assume she meant to start the course.My other kid went to Seven Hills. They did a much better job there explaining the new test. I understand there are rules the driving instructors must follow when grading, but I find it absolutely unfair that my kid had to fail because the instructor didn’t explain the instructions. Especially since the test is revised and the instructions are not the standard ones. Don’t waste your time scheduling a driving exam here, I would recommend Seven Hills or Middletown.
Most of the employees working for BMV are so so so so rude... !I am thinking most of them behave that way because they have been working for a long time and they are not happy about it or they dont love thier job..If that is the case they need to look for another job, life is short to be that way.If not the state need to give them somekind of behavioral therapy or change them to some other task...People pay taxes so they could have a job...!People needs to be respected...!
Would never go here! The instructor was a rude and short tempered lady who claims that you should not stop at the correct stop bar for a stop sign and that you should stop at all crossings when there are no pedestrians around.
The man at the front desk is very rude to everyone. If he dont like his job he dont have to take it out on the customers. These kids are up there trying to get started in life an this man is rude to them. Very unprofessional an uncalled for behavior. I would not recommend taking any child to this place for any reason.
Let people talk on the phone while testing, let people’s kid sit next to them and help with the test, yell at each other disrupting people testing. Computers that read questions out loud instead of through headphones also disrupting people testing. Trash location, even worse than other bmv locations which are already terrible
Approaching the front door we were asked if we where there for road or written test or anything . I had a appointment for a road test. I immediately told the officer I had a appointment at 845am. She was obviously in charge of the social distancing intake of the office. She was completely in charge and didnt let anything go out of line. ( which I respect!!!) Than I had a appointment for my driver exam (after a month wait due to covid-19). I was waiting in line. When my name was called. The BMV officer checking mine and my driver noticed that my driver was missing a document. She told us to gather the right information and come back.. So we returned after gathering the necessary paperwork. The same officer recognized us from earlier and sent us in as soon as the building was safe for us. We waited in line for a few minutes. We were gladly and respectfully helped by the same officer. She knew who we where and gladly helped us out with in minutes. She instructed us to the exam course. I did as the officer instructed. Once I approached the course I was introduced by a female officer. She explained to me the course, the rules beautifully . The instructions couldnt have been described better. I had a great experience on July,11,2020. Also my first time to this location due to limited exam in the state due to the virus. Im from Union Twp. Clermont County. In my opinion this should be the blueprint of every BMV in our state!!!! Thank you all for your help! Sorry I dont remember your names !!!:)
There is a lot of reviews here saying how bad this place is. The fact is I never had a issue with them. I have gone to them for motorcycle and drivers temps. I have also taken my driving test at this place. Nobody was rude. Nobody was unclear on the test or anything.The only reason why I give 3 stars is for the driving test. The test is too simple to take and a moron can pass it. There are too many people driving who should not be driving. Make the test harder and more complicated. A small backstreet does not cut it.
Was there today with my son to take his driving test. The examiner running the course was extremely rude and condescending with my son. He does not know how to communicate proper instructions on how to maneuver the course.
They need to realize, this isnt the penitentiary... its just people trying to get their drivers license.Thursday January 11th at 4:20 p.m. I brought 2 teens to take their drivers exam. Both are young adults so I was there to help them make sure they had everything they needed. The two older guys that sit towards the back (where they take the temporary drivers exam) were very rude to me and not very clear in their explanations. They kept snapping at me and telling me I needed to go sit in the front, after they saw the 1st teen, even though they knew I had two teens with me that had come to take the drivers exam. They spoke to me in a condescending tone, and their obnoxiousness made the situation very awkward. They treated me as if I was trying to stay back there to help one or both of these kids cheat on their drivers exam or something. It was kind of crazy. I was just trying to get clear information, but they seem to have such a hard time making themselves clear, as if people are supposed to already know what theyre thinking or something.I was never rude, demanding, or disrespectful. Literally, all I did was stand there and barely said anything. I was just confused as to what they were trying to tell me and why they were being so aggressively rude.If they are that miserable at their job, they should seriously look into another line of work.
The men that work in there are very aggressive, mean, and rude as hell. Took my drivers test a couple of years ago 3xs the first time I was being talked to as if I was his child or something. He had asked me if I had any questions I asked him a question and he yelled at me and told me to do what he tells me to do. From that point it was so awkward. Then as Im taking my test he was just marking stuff off to be marking stuff off. He also wrote that I was going 5 mph over the speed limit. But you can go 5 overand 5 under. He ended up failing me. So I called their cooperate number and told them what happened and complained on him. If your that unhappy with your job then quit. Smh I went to go take my test again and their boss was there every since they was allot more nicer to me.
The Guys There Are very Rude. They Have Bad Attitudes, And Poor Communication. I Was Taking My Drivers Test And He Told Me To Turn Left Multiple Times When I Was At The Stop Sign. He Was Suppose To Tell Me Before I Got To The Stop Sign. Then He Was Saying I Was Going Too Slow. Like What Is Too Slow. Basically I Failed That Part. I Take It Today, Hopefully I Pass, Because Tomorrow My Temps Expires. And Hopefully A Woman Is There This Time, And Hopefully She Isnt Rude Like Him🤔😊

Great experience! The test examiners are very friendly and so too are the people who work at the station. Very unlike any BMV experience I’ve ever had. If you’re local, this is where I’d go.
I am sitting here now. I took my son to take his written exam. I was treated with disrespect by the staff. Signs did not explain things correctly. The staff condescending and rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!
Would give no stars if possible. This is the absolute rudest bunch of people I have ever come across. They have no idea who pays their salaries. In addition to being nearly incompetent, they will talk down to you the entire time!

Interesting that the women working the desk can chatter away yet I answered my phone quietly and one of them ran over and pointed to the “no cell phone” sign....then got right back to the gossip chatter. Pffft!
They literally have the worst customer service. I have been trying to get into contact with someone for WEEKS about my license never getting to mailed to me. The online chat, busy. Phone line, busy. It’s repugnant...

EVERYONE gets here at 8:00 AM on Saturday.Honestly, if you are taking a driving test and dont have an appointment, wait till around 10:30 and the wait will usually be shorter.

2022-06-25Felt like I needed to share my experience because there are so many bad reviews. Everything was smooth and perfect! All the workers were friendly and the lady who went with my son for his test was polite and thorough with her explanations and expectations.The best part is there is no line, no wait. They have many test times open. Great experience.

2021-08-04Im only giving it 2 stars because the lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. As one of the other reviews stated, the older gentleman should retire. Good luck if you get him for your test. Was very unfriendly and rude. It costs nothing to smile. If you hate your job so bad, RETIRE!

2021-07-13Employees at the front desk extremely rude. They acted like they didn’t like their job which is perfectly okay, but their doesn’t give them an excuse to be disrespectful and rude to people. As you stepped in, you could feel the tension and the unwelcoming vibes. I felt like I was going to burst out crying because they made me feel like I’m a bother and I shouldn’t be a waste of their time. Instructions were unclear, and they would lash it out on you. Overall, it’s a terrible experience.

2021-04-29So disappointed. This morning I took my sister for driving test , a person who tested her was so rude. It was raining so heavy and he asked to open 4 windows after we both were wet then he start to scream at her that she was so afraid and shaking. Of course after that kind of treat she failed. I even got scared of his actions. People who works their please don’t be mean. How you know when you scream at someone maybe they pregnant and you might be cause of their depression.Do not recommend this place for driving test. Stay away from them. 😔

2021-02-27The ladies checking kids in for their driving portion of the exam were rude. My son has had his temporary license for 7 months and we forgot to bring the certificate from his driving school. She acted like we were completely ignorant. Ive never had a good experience with this location. The staff needs some common courtesy training.

2021-06-08Front desk was extremely accommodating as I came unprepared without the paperwork necessary and she worked me in for my test anyways. However test instructor excessively marked me for stopping too far ahead stop signs to see oncoming traffic, and driving too far to the left of the road to avoid hitting parked cars. Second location that has sought out reasons to fail me. I did these things for safety, the legalism is out of place and unappreciated. Wont be back here.

2020-12-19The covid closed circuit driving course was super easy. I was in and out of the test and licensing building in less than an hour. The man at the front counter of the exam station was a little gruff but not unhelpful. The driving instructors were very nice and very helpful. They walk you through the course and make it easy to pass.
