Had this for the first time and it didnt disappoint. Very authentic Cantonese style food, lovely aesthetic of the food. I wish I took a picture but ate my order before I thought about it. Great host, support this local spot!! Ill be back for more in the future.

Just ordered shrimp egg foo young from here. 1st time ordering here. It is by far the best Chinese carryout Ive had in the Cleveland area. Very fresh and not at all greasy. It will be my new go to for carryout.
I left my first review of Dragon Light about 3 years ago and this is till my favorite hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant on the West Side. Their food is very good and their service is exceptional.
What a joke try charging extra packet sauces and chop sticks. Never going back again
The staff was very friendly, the food delicious, and the price very reasonable.I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. The shrimp was cooked well, the breading was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the portion was well-sized.

Wow what a great place!! Just went there today after reading all the reviews. The people are so friendly and the food is awesome! I ordered take out and the portion sizes were huge. The prices are really fair. I will say this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant and I am going to go back to eat inside.
The absolute BEST! Delicious FRESH food, very kind staff, clean restaurant, and worth every penny. I wont go anywhere else... wish it was open Mondays but they deserve a break after a week of exceptional work and service. :) 5 Stars
Im sure anyone whod been to this place would understand. I wanted to get Chinese food but was tired of the heavily greasy and dry food provided by the shop at the West side market which was an unsanitary place. We found this place looking up on Google and found it had 4.5 star review. We were a bit skeptical but decided to go anyways. When I went in, there these elderly ladies there and were very nice. Prices were the same as any other restaurant. I heard nothing was being cooked and then noticed them pulling out what they needed to cook. And started from scratch which surprised me. The lady gave me free cookies extra fortune cookies and even added spoons, dorks, napkins and all the sauces. I was speechlessly surprised.when I got home and tried the food, it was by far the best and freshest food I have ever had. I mean it was all done from scratch and you can taste it. The wonton soup was so amazing, I ate it slowly to savor it. This place deserves more recognition.

Best in Cleveland!!! I have been a patron for 30 years. I live around the corner it not just convenient its deliciously good. My child is 21 and was raised on there cooking. And their food is the only Chinese food she will eat. And has to have it when she comes home from college. That just speaks for the food. The owners are wonderful. My daughter always orders the same items as soon as I place my order she says Webb right. Before I tell her. I think that is sweet. They are friendly and kind . She has even helped me carry food to my car. Awesome service and very kind
Used to go to this place literally all the time when I lived on Linnet. Hands down the best Chinese food in the city and they make their food fresh. And I mean fresh as in nothing was pre made or sitting in the fridge forever unless it was the ingredients and marinated meats. The ladies there are always nice and never had a bad experience there. Even though I do not live near by I still go out of my way for them every once in a while. Totally worth it.
Tram is a wonderful cook. I love her orange chicken and the house fried rice. The staff always acknowledges my kids and gives them cookies. The restaurant is clean. The family is friendly. Cute place to have a quiet dinner. I love it.

Much, much better than your typical Chinese take-out. The people that run the place clearly know what they’re doing with food and will make you feel very appreciated for your business. Make sure to ask for your food to be extra spicy!

Dragon Light Restaurant at 3537 west 105th street is a very quaint, clean and Beautifully Decorated restaurant. My Boyfriend and I are very impressed on our first time visit here. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here. The Cooks here are awesome, gave him free cookies and let him have his stirred fried rice before our order is done, cause hes so hungry. These ladies are great, great Cooks. Awesome service and Food to your Soul. Thank You, Margaret and Ed.

Last night my Aunt and I decided to have Chinese Food...So I Googled Chinese Food...I read the reviews for this restaurant....Of course I decided to order...OMG....We were there for a few and I was quite happy means food will be fresh and not sitting in pots...While I was their many patrons came and went..I noticed this restaurant has a lot of business and for us to be in the midst of a pandemic they have alot alot of business....Well let me tell you The place was ran by women...They were so respectful and polite..I do mean polite.We got our food and left..Got home and started eatting...OMG the food was amazing..I do mean amazing...The best egg foo yung I ever ate..The ribs and soup was phenomenal and the rice was not dried out and fresh recognizable vegetables in it....And our Butterfly Shrimp was Huge,Huge,Huge and not greasy.....The whole time my Aunt and I was eatting we both kept saying to each uther how good our food was....and fresh..She had Sweet and Sour Chicken and you see and taste the chicken....not fat but chicken and Wonton Soup had many pieces of meat inside dumpling, I do mean many...And As I Said Earlier The Ladies were so RESPECTFUL Polite and Happy...One more thing The Customer all had mask on and was 6gt..distance and nobody had to say anything...I love Chinese Food I will be back many many many times.....This place has no problem with customers in the pandemic times...Thank you Ladies....Give this place A TRY YOU WONT BE UPSET....LET ME ADD WHILE WAITING ON FOOD I COULD SEE THE KITCHEN AND YES IT WAS CLEAN VERY CLEAN...

House fried rice and shrimp egg foo young was tasty. I did get extra gravy on the side and it was perfect. The lady is so nice there. Good customer service.
This is my new favorite Chinese food place. They will make anything vegetarian and it’s fresh and so good! My favorite is the Singapore Noodles. Mmmmmm. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Im so fortunate that this restaurant is so close to my house. Although I would gladly travel many mile to come here. There cooking is so good that I feel I can be adventourous and try everything. They are so good at describing the dishes and I trust them completly. When we eat out, this is the first place I think of. I actually have a hard time not coming here. See what you think.

This place cooks fresh and food is great compared to other Chinese. Some have fried rice pre cooked and they just re fry but Dragon Light doesnt. Been going there for decades and only go to others when this place is closed.
Besides my normal Chinese restaurant China Mountain I love coming to the Dragon Light they also have great food..
I went here because a friend referred me too… I bought one plain fried rice and I wanted the other one to be a vegetable fried rice… I do not live in this area I stay on the east side of Cleveland… When I got home to my disappointment I had two plain fried rice… When the lady specified she would add the vegetables to my fried rice… I was highly disappointed and I will not be returning this was a simple order how can you mess up… And out of all the Chinese restaurants I have ate from I would not put this in my top list.... it was decent
Great food. I was a little antsy because of a few bad reviews I read on here but checking it myself it wasnt all bad. My 3 year old is very picky with food but he loves it.
Honestly the best Chinese spot I’ve ever been. Great food, great service, and most importantly very clean! Other Chinese spots should really take notice and learn a thing or two.
I had high hope for this place because of the reviews but unfortunately the orange chicken was extremely burnt and inedible. The rest was pretty much standard takey outy. The lo mein was angel hair and bland, I prefer the big noodles. I never would have actually wrote a review if the chicken was not so overdone, I can not believe that the person making it or the person packing it up could not see how dried up and dark it was. If they dont care enough about the sate of their food I do not care enough to give it a 2nd chance.
Best food ever!! Ive been coming here for years and bringing all new friends the chicken pad thai, orange chicken and chicken lomein are my favorites I grew up around this place and still come back even from 45 min away!!

The most amazing Chinese takeout I have ever had. You could tell they they hand make the food. I live on the east side and I make a 40 minute trip just for takeout.

The service is great but the food is a little bland. It isnt bad, but nowhere near as good as alot of the reviews make it out to be. We were hoping to find a place comparable to the chinese place near where we used to live, but alas, it is not this place.

I usually only order from China chef in Parma because its the best Chinese take out Ive had so far ! Ive ordered multiple times and its just perfect . We moved so I decided to try out dragon light . I of course read reviews and based on them I decided to give it a shot ... WORST Chinese food ive ever had . I got orange chicken and it was so dry , hard , too big of pieces (that looked so weird) barely any sauce ... The breading or bread crumbs were not the best ... The brocolli was dry ... And to top it off .. I FOUND A BUG IN MY FOOD ! Yep a bug . I added some rice into the chicken and took a couple bites and began to pick around and there it was ... After searching I found that these types of bugs are found in rice . Moth larvae or something .. Anyway idc I stopped eating and called them back & they asked me to keep repeating my order . So we just took that meal and the other untouched ones we received and did get our money back after they apologized . Will not be going back . Idk how ppl think this is the best let alone the best in Cleveland . No way !

Food is poor quality for the price. Portions are laughably small. This place is crap compared to Panda Wok on w117th St. Otherwise its very good if you like bland unimpressive food. Its better than most, but far from the best.

I got a lot of food for a moderate price and it tasted amazingly! Better than your average Chinese restaurant and not far from Rays Mtb if you are in town visiting for that.

Ok i was looking up these rewiews for the best Chinese food and dragon light had good ratings I decided to try it out and it was terrible I did done in and the tea was cold that they serve me i ordered siamese chicken and the chicken was hard and dry and not enough on the plate the fried rice was cold and just nasty but I give this place a 2 star because the staff was friendly and welcome but the food is not the best in my opinion I dont know why they got a 4 star rating

2021-12-04I like this place and I enjoyed the experience, but I think I ordered the wrong thing. I had the Dragon Light combo, which was chicken, pork, and shrimp in a watery sauce. The chicken was breaded, which doesnt work with a liquid sauce. It works very well with a barbecue sauce consistency, bit thats not what they used in this dish.Ill be back and try something else because they were super nice and the place looks good.

2021-09-18I ordered 3 orders of shrimp fried rice . There was literally 2 shrimps my small order of rice. I called and explained to the lady my issue. The lady called me a LIAR. DON’T order shrimp fried rice from this place. Horrible customer service and they are stingy with the food. I think it’s new people there and making the place go down hill.
