Terrible service took a month to get a appointment then two weeks ago I gave them my new insurance information for a appointment today 6-5-2020 get there and she said I didnt have insurance well my company faxed over information and then they called insurance...then she hangs up after a few minutes and lets a person in then tells me my insurance company system is down and they wont be seeing me today...I got out to my car and called anthem right away Im talking to a rep he said they are definitely not down . This cost me 350.00 in wages for the day and now Monday morning I will be at affordable dentures same day service and 450.00 cheaper for the same dentures
I was lied to multiple times by the receptionist who are not well trained. Then was promised a service that they then refused to provide. I was scheduled for an extraction with a doctor who doesnt extract teeth and was not informed of this until AFTER they took over 200 dollars in unnessisary exrays. When trying to get the issue resolved Dr. Grucella banned me from his services and offices.They have refused to allow me to have my files. They said its their property and will not give them to me or send them to another dentist their lawyer, or who was claiming to be one, said my medical files are not pertinent to me. He also claimed I was refunded which I havent been. This company also hangs up on me EVERY SINGLE CALL when I start asking questions. They are pulling some serious scams here.
The dentists seem okay. But the office staff needs some real help. I scheduled an appointment in May 2017 with the Canton Rd office and went in to get xrays & a consultation. I gave them my photo ID along with my insurance card. They photocopied both. Seen the Dr,worked out a treatment plan & rescheduled for a month later to get started. Get to the office a month later & am ready to get work done when the office manager tells me they do not accept my insurance plan and had not accepted it since mid 2016. Yet the odd part was they had gotten the pre authorization from my insurance company. I spoke with the office manager at that point & asked for a copy of the x rays to give my new dentist once I found one. She stated that they could not give me the x rays because they were not going to bill my insurance. After going to a new dental office,I told them to do new x rays based on what the office manager had said. They did new x rays & could not get paid for them due to the fact that this office had billed my insurance after telling me they were not. The office manager blamed it on my insurance company stating they had requested to be removed as a provider July of 2016. Yet after speaking with my insurance company the office had billed my insurance for work done early this year so they were going to look into it. Personally I fell I wasted a month because someone was to lazy to look my insurance card & know that the office did not accept it. Now here it is 2018 & I just had to pay for the x rays out my pocket due to their mistake. I will never go to that office again & will never recommend anyone to go there. Go at your own risk.
They are friendly, but they will not make room for you in their schedule if something goes wrong. I have had serious problems with four of the fillings I got from them, and they wanted me to wait for a month before they would fix them. I ended up paying another dentist out of pocket to fix the fillings.
Was not happy with the determination the dentist made. She explained to me that could only receive a top tier dental plate- because of my situation. And that any lower tier denture plate couldnt be lined. Then while waiting I heard her in next cubical telling that patient, that she could only get the middle tier with a liner.- that she had claimed to me wasnt able to be done. They also required I buy a 500$ per plate 5 yr warranty that insurance doesnt cover, and refuse to sell the denture unless you buy the warranty.I actually saw a patient outside in tears because they cannot afford the recommended treatments and the office was pushing a very expensive amount.You CAN get quality denture elsewhere for less.
If you’re looking for assembly line dentistry you found the right place I took my mother-in-law for an appointment and their lakmore office today ,3/6/18 not only is the office dated and dirty but the staff was rude and less than helpful and more worried about being on their cell phones and talking to each other then helping my mother-in-law , they treated their patients like cattle shuffling them in and around the office appearing to get them in and out as quickly as possible. Needless to say we will find an alternate office for her dentures, don’t waste your time!!!
Great experience! Dr. Grucella wanted me to get a growth checked out that was on my tongue. After I visited the oral surgeon and had it removed and biopsied, it was cancerous. It was caught before it spread (thanks Dr. Grucella!). Everyone at the office is always friendly and goes out of their way to make a person comfortable. Not sure what the haters are talking about, maybe theyre talking about Aspen Dental (now THAT was an awful experience).
I cant believe all the negative reviews. I have been going here for about a year and love it. Very friendly staff, and I always get in within 10 min. Of my appointment. I even had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned and for some reason I was not on the schedule. They got me in right away and cleaned my teeth. Was out in 45 min.
Had been going to this dentist for over 4 years, called to schedule an appointment and they told me they couldnt find my name in the system, never suggested to add me or schedule me in. Decided to go to a new dentist and they found so many things that this dentist had missed..do NOT reccomend

2022-08-01I had a office visit. I was having pain in a molar. I needed a root canal. They booked me out about a month and a half. Well my pain got so bad after I called three weeks later and said can you please help me. I was taking Motrin for 3 weeks and was on antibiotics for as long. The office manager answered and was rude from the start. Told me they had nothing no appointments. She was so rude. I have so much pain!! I will never go back. Not a dentist. More of a implant, and injections for your face kind of place. Not a true dentist office where they care. She could of helped a lot more. Everyone knows when you have dental pain it’s the worst! Find another true dentist. With a nice staff who actually CARE!

2022-04-05I apologize for having to leave this review but I would have been greatly appreciative had someone saved me from this lifetime nightmare. I have no life due to dentures that never fit. I have to use fixodent at least 8x a day just to complete a days work. I have no social life no dating or even dinner with friends or family. I ha e been horribly sad and misersble the past 7 years and would never recommend this place. Never again will I feel confident or normal or even be able to enjoy a day without the stress or embarrassment . Its ok. I accept That I will forever be a prisoner of these four walls .

2020-05-26I dont suppose anyone likes going to the dentist even for a cleaning. However, this is an amazing group of people! They got me in super fast for a bad tooth and on the necessary antibiotics. Unfortunately, I had to have a root canal but the doc was amazing. She took her time and made sure I was numb. Asked a lot if I was experiencing pain. Explained what she was doing every single little step of the way. Even offered to hold my hand when one nerve was causing issues. Im gonna keep going to them and still have to get my crown - but youll like this place.

2021-03-17Dr Mark Grucella, and James George dentist office are exceptional. I had a really bad experience with my first dentures. They did another set, and it was the total opposite experience. I wish I went to them first. Great staff too. Best overall experience.

2020-07-09I was told my teeth needed pulled but that Id get dentures. I did. They have never fit correctly. The top plate has always been too big for my mouth. Every time the Dr would say we could fix it this way or that, the technician said no. I was told Id have to wait for a year to have the bite relined. I made the appointment after the shut down lifted, yet they cancelled on me. I am now told they no longer take my insurance. The dentures are so ill fitting they hurt my gums and give me a headache if I wear them. Thanks Dr Hurd and associates. For making me completely toothless.

2021-06-12I do not recommend this dental practice. RUN..... If you do choose this practice, get everything in writing because they do not disclose important information customers and clients should be advised of. There are many excellent dentists with excellent staff members that are courteous and helpful, Mark Grucellas practice and staff members is NOT one of them. If a coupon is offered, No office staff or any employee there will disclose any exclusions to you that may be part of using such coupon. It will be the customers responsibility to ask and get it in writing if you can from them, i doubt they will give any such exclusions in writing since they do NOT verbally inform you of any, so BEWARE. 2019-10-23The doctors and staff were so professional and compassionate and took the time to fully explain my dental treatment step by step . As an older patient, I have always been fearful of dentists but being a patient there is such a welcomed relief. Thank you so much!

2018-03-23Went to this office because my dentist stopped taking my insurance and it was a horrible experience. The tech and Dr. didnt say one word to me the whole time or explain what was going on and the front desk was rude. They wanted to fill 7 cavities that I had. I didnt think that was accurate so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Come to find out I do not have any cavities and my mouth is perfectly healthy, just needed cleaned. They also will not clean your teeth unless you get your cavities fixed. I couldnt have a cleaning without drilling 7 unnecessary holes in my mouth. Im glad I got out of this place and found someone better who takes my insurance!

2019-03-29I had my first visit today with this office and was very pleased. Meghan was my hygienist and she really made my time there enjoyable. That’s right enjoyable at the dentist 😂. I don’t have a beautiful smile but she made me feel comfortable and focused on the health of my teeth instead of the misalignment of them. I thank them all for their kind service.

2018-10-22I have been seeing this dentist for years. Since 2009, I think? They are just great. Very responsive and knowledgable. All the staff are super-friendly. They always deal seamlessly with my insurance company, and I have had several. They win Beacons Best, all the time, and its no wonder! I recommend them to all my friends and family.
