While Dr. Hill and PA Cindy Campbell are excellent and the nurses are caring and thorough, there is a lack of communication regarding some very important issues. For example, their office is closed, yet there is no sign on the office door, no update to their website to inform patients of their closure, and the voice mail message leaves no option other than to go to the emergency room.I, due to multiple factors, mistakenly thought the refill date for my primary pain medication would fall a week after my next appointment on the 6th of July. Instead, I noticed last Thursday evening that it would run out yesterday. Of course, they are closed on Fridays, so I waited until yesterday (Monday) to call and see about getting enough of this medication to make it to the 6th. All I got was the night service VM.Now, I am out of the medication - and seizures are possible with immediate stoppage of it - and the office remains inexplicably closed. Im guessing theyre on vacation, and there were probably signs inside the office I missed during my visit last month.I usually dont make this kind of mistake, but I have been trying to stop a foreclosure, which is very stressful and time-consuming; I have a long-time family cat dying of renal failure, and Im expecting the worst every day; plus I started a new job on the 31st of last month. I think my mind was so overburdened with these stressors, that I looked at the refills must be picked up by date instead of the refill date. So, here I am with no medication, no way to get the medication - it is federally regulated - and could suffer symptoms ranging from excruciating neuropathic pain to seizures. I drive from Alliance to Dover and back M-F for my new job. I dont want to have a seizure while on Rt. 77 in rush-hour traffic.Ive gone to this office for over 7 years due to 3+ degenerative lumbar disks, severe hip and knee arthritis, not including other neurological and physiological damage. I think very highly of everyone in this office, but this type of thing has happened before - poor communication from office to patient. Its not that hard to change a VM or tack a sign to a door, or even to update your own website. And, instead of the patient having to go to the emergency room, why not have one of the physicians able to receive voice mail messages and answer them, thus saving the already overworked ER doctors and nurses.A soon-to-be-panicky long-time and lifetime patient.

Dr. Hill is a odd person. Ive experienced a few issues with support staff..Do not assume anything, I encourage being your own advocate. Count days by next visit to be certain timing is accurate, with both dosage and follow up.. Originally recommended him, although the first visits are very different from the follow ups. He becomes unavailable, does not respond to drug reactions, blames you, and basically acts indifferent. Spent a great deal of money at ER, even overheard Dr at ER say, why cant you just pick up phone? He said its not how he practices. I had to move back to CT to get the care I received for over 10 years, Dr. Hill only offered a drug that I was allergic to. Ignored my instant high blood pressure reaction, burning to skin until I left. He seems to have sorry about your luck - too bad kind of attitude. He wanted to encourage a spinal cord stimulator surgery, even though he didnt think it would work. FYI 50K surgery. Very disappointed, although I blame the system for turning him into this type of person, there is some good in there somewhere, but I didnt see much of it. Sadly would not recommend as I originally did.

Worst doctor I have ever come in contact with. He does not listen to you or attend to your ailments in any way. He is always in a rush and simply does not care what you have to say. He needs to be fired quit or retire. He is an awful awful doctor I wouldnt recommend him to my worst enemy. In my opinion and many others Ive heard from he is rude and simply does not care about his patients

He is indifferent about the pain your having. Pushes procedures that don’t work at all - Ablation.

I have been seeing Dr Hill for many years. He saw me through a very traumatic back surgery, and has continued to treat me throughout. He has provided great care and I am so glad I have him on my team!! If youre struggling with pain issues he is the Dr you should see, very caring and thoughtful. I highly recommend him!!!

Very rude ! Accused me of getting pain medication that he didnt prescribe. I found the prescription bottle that he prescribed to me . It was a few years but I had been asking him to put me back on it since the other medications and PROCEDURES havent worked.

Doesnt deserve 1 star. Did epidural injections and after 2 I experienced worse pain that radiated so I refused the 3rd and he red flagged me when I went back to my family doctor! Ive never been the same! He didnt even take an xray before putting the epidural in!! Run!!!!

I have been a patient with Dr Hill for many years. He has always done everything possible to relieve my pain and give me some kind of quality of life since my car accident in 2009. I would strongly recommend him for your pain management needs. He and his staff are all super nice !!

This is my first time at a pain management and Dr. Hill and his staff were amazing! So kind so caring and listened to everything going on with me. Even after my first appointment when my meds didnt go through they were here every step of the way working with the insurance company to make it work asap. I would highly reccrecom Dr.Hill to anyone!

I wouldnt give him a star. He is rude and his approach is inappropriate. When your in the medical field you should realize one approach is not always the best! Also the only Doctors office that I walked into with my own clipboard, and they kept it. Guess my co-pay of $100 wasnt enough.
