This DQ is exceptionally better than the one at the Lake. They have friendly employees and even though they are busy all the time no matter if you go inside or drive thru they seem to do a wonderful job getting through the customers effectively and efficiently. They have a good routine and team work for this to be made possible with the volume of customers they have on a daily basis. They even had to make a separate lane on the road for the drive through as it’s always backed up a ways down the road. But even with the line so long I’ve never had to wait more than ten mins to get to order. I’ve had to wait twice as longer at the lake and with a fraction of the customers being served. The only problem I’ve ever had with DQ in bellefontaine is that when I had asked if they accepted a school sponsored football card that stated a buy one get one free of any size milk shake they told me that they were not on the list to accept the card. Which I can understand if it was just the lake location and not the bellefontaine location but the card didn’t state what location and instead of the female employee working at the time telling me they don’t accept it and just handing me my card back she took it upon herself to take a sharpie marker and mark off the deal on the back of the card. I thought was very horrible of her to do as the card was still in acceptance date and it was good at another location. Now the other location won’t accept the deal due to this female doing this to my card and making it null avoid. So beware if you have a football card for this location don’t let them permanently mark off your deals as they are not allowed to do so. If it was only a one time offer deal they give you separate key chain coupons to hand in separately so it doesn’t take away from the cards other offers. Just very disappointed in this young lady for doing this and hope she has learned her lesson so she doesn’t do this in the future to customers and creating unnecessary chaos. The other reason I don’t want to go back to the lake beside their extreme slow service is that their food is not as enjoyable as bellefontaine. They don’t give you the country gravy anymore with the chicken strips basket like they always have since they opened. I was very disappointed in this and couldn’t eat the toast and had to pitch it as I use that gravy to dip the toast in. But on the flip side when I have gotten the strip basket in bellefontaine they no longer give you the toast. So cutting corners for cost of inflation is my guess so they don’t have to keep hiking menu prices. Just upsetting when you’re used to a certain product and when you are hungry and expecting a certain order and find out you’re missing items and they don’t want to tell you that they deliberately took those items away. Not that they forgot to put it in your order. No matter what the case is they need to update their menus and make it known the changes that have occurred to their inventory. The lake location does still hand you your blizzard upside down as the bellefontaine location hasn’t done in quite some time. They can say they don’t do it do to handing them out in trays but the lake still does them individually and sets them back in the tray for you so you physically see it as their motto has always been if it’s not served upside down to show you the products stays in cup rather than falling out that you get that blizzard for free. So I’m going to start holding them to it as they aren’t living up to their motto.Bottom line I will return. You never know the employees you will encounter at any given location anymore since no one wants to work now a days and the only ones they hire are young kids that aren’t being trained properly as they aren’t taking the time to and just feeding them to the wolves. Which is a bad set up for the staff environment being unnecessarily too stressful and for the customers to have to deal with such chaos. Hopefully places will learn to start to take the time to train more so things can run more smoothly for everyone.

A great DQ with friendly employees and speedy service! I have been here dozens of times and cannot recall a poor experience. If a mistake is made, employees are happy to reconcile the situation. The owners/managers do a wonderful job with quality, consistency, and cleanliness, and it is evident in how busy this establishment usually is. It seems everyone wants to visit this Dairy Queen!

Every time I go the food is always fresh and the best employee attitudes I have ever experienced. Even though the line is always long, it moves quickly and efficiently!! Best Dairy Queen ever!!

The ice-cream is so runny for the past 2 years. You cant make it out of the driveway without ice-cream running down your arm. Blizzards need to sit in the freezer over night for them to actually resemble ice-cream. The new menu is terrible. I used to love this place and now it is garbage.

Ive never heard of this strange restaurant they called the DQ. the lobby was closed but thats just the way things are now that the Democrats run the government.After going through the drive thru I received a calorie friendly banana split 🪓. I then tried out their onion rings they were better than average...it was a great experience. Id recommend it to a friend.
