Wow, I sent a bad review two weeks ago and this is your very weak response?? Response from the owner an hour agowe are sorry we didnt meet your expectations. Like so many other employers, we find ourselves short staffed in these troubling times. Please contact the office to see if there is any way we can improve our service to you.So you are going to blame the whole thing on being short staffed?Your tech came out and lied to us. He said the whole unit needed replaced and a more reputable company fixed it with a cheap part. Your technician told us that we could not run the heater all weekend due to carbon monoxide in the furnace and that was also a convenient lie to get us to buy a new heater.We did believe him, of course and we ordered the unit to be installed the following Monday because we had no idea and are generally trusting of contractors. Monday came and went with no contact from your company. in the mean time we did a little research and found the truth about our furnace in about 15 minutes online. So your guy successfully duped us and then never came back, which was probably a good thing.The worst part? Yes, there is a worse part. Your company takes care of the maintenance on our heater and just looked at the heater in September. It was given a clean bill of health by your tech. The company who ended up installing the part that fixed it stated that the unit had been leaking for SEVERAL SEASONS as evidenced by the amount of rust present. The door sensor had rusted entirely through in fact.Your technician was a shady liar and your company failed to identify anything when they came out for preventative maintenance. We have filed BBB complaints because we feel that everyone needs to know the caliber of business you are running. Incidentally this happened two weeks ago and we have not gotten a call to even explain or apologize so we are well past you fixing this situation by blaming staffing issues or troubling times.The lesson here is that you run a shady business that tries to take advantage of customers. We will make certain that everyone knows.
Called Dor-Mar to fix barn heater so that we could host team basketball practice due to school gym not being available. Told them when practice was and they made sure to come out before then. Very professional and responsive. Highly recommend.

Doug and Dave installed my new furnace and they were great! Informative, and they even put down a cloth to not get footprints on the floor inside. Wes was the one who came to check out my old furnace before and he was great too!
Contacted 4 different companies when our heat went out overnight. This company responded right away and came out the fastest. The cost of the service call was reasonable. They were thorough, professional, diagnosed the problem and didnt try to add on or upsell anything that was not necessary. I would use them again.
We had issues with our furnace it was cold , cold cold. We had it fixed , but it would turn off. We went from freezing to being way too hot. Do Mar sent Brian Moore out to fix the problem. He was professional, super responsive. Im very pleased with the service.
I would not recommend them to anyone. We had a whole new system installed in September of 2021. We have had several issues starting within the first week after the install. We called for service AGAIN and the Technician stated nobody was home when they came. Then he said he was at the wrong address. He came back out to say he needed a part. We have to beg them to come back out to fix the problem. AC went out again on Tuesday , May 10, 2022. Technician stated he needed another part but would have it that day or the next. Here we are 4 days later and they have every excuse but having the part. They advertise 24/7 but every time we call them, its never the same day. Maybe less on commercials and more on service.
Service was excellent - Doug and Trent called ahead of time, showed up on time, and were really helpful in walking through use and maintenance of our heat pump system. Highly recommend Dor-Mar for any heating or cooling needs
From the initial phone call to the end of the service appt I was very impressed with the service! My heart stopped working and they were out at my house within 2 hours of my phone call. Ron was very professional and explained everything to me. Thankful for their quick and efficient work to have my house warm again on a cold day!
Dor Mar made things right an replaced faulty hot water tank! Thank you.Received follow-up service for hot water tank installation. Service man Brad did an excellent job and deserves a 5 star rating. Brad found leaky pipes from original installation which had saturated the insulation within the hot water tank . Had to tighten down water lines coming into tank. Went to his house and bought back personal floor fan to dry up water on floor leaking from tank. This has been quite the experience. We have used DorMar to install a new heating system in the house and air conditioning system and have been very pleased however, if this would have been our first experience with DorMar, it might have been our last.Service person Cody and the gentleman assisting him where very professional and finished the installation of our new hot water heater very quickly. Overall cost for the service appeared to be high but needed the service completed ASAP.
The men who came to install our new hot water heater were AMAZING. However, I am giving them 1 star because the technician Steven that came to fix our A/C that day was awful. He was very rude, extremely unhelpful, and tried to trick my mother into signing a document that said she was happy with his service when he knew she wasnt. We tried contacting Dor Mar about the situation we have written them and left voicemails and they have ignored us and wont call us back! I am so extremely disappointed and unhappy about this situation! If I could give this 0 stars I would! They definitely lied. They are far from our climate hero!!!!UPDATE: Leana who responded below was VERY Helpful and receptive to our feedback. She was the first person who actually listened to our conerns and addressed each of them. Im not sure why we werent put in contact with her to begin with but I am very grateful for her help, attention, and assistance!!!
This is the second time that we have had Wesley call on us for our maintenance plan. He always provides a courtesy call ahead and arrives as scheduled. We are very satisfied with the services provided.
The techs and people are quality folks who shared time and info about our commercial HVAC in the dog days of hot start up season when they could have not cared as much. Great experience with DorMar

Wes came on time was very nice and he explain everything that was going ...leak somewhere put feon in to keep us kool and shot die in lines will call in 7 to 10 days to see where leak is at so he can repair it🙏 thank you wes for all your help today the whole house was chilled in short time😊

I had a wonderful experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone. I had a second company come out first and their prices were almost a thousand dollars higher for literally a 15 minute job. I have a business that requires the heating to be fix. I called three companies and all three gave me false information of the issues so they can charges me in the thousand. I finally asked around for a reputable company and good services, a friend of mine told me Dor Mar. Literally I called ar 10am, they came at 12 noon, and got it all fix by 1pm. They told me the truth of why it didnt work, just a dirty filters... really and other companies was lying to me. They saved me thousands of dollar and honest. They are fast, punctual, professional, honest and great to work with. They got themselves a life customer. I will be having them maintenance my business and home furnace from now on. I will also pass the words around to other businesses buddy of mine. Thank you Dor Mar!!
Our furnace went out on a Friday evening after normal business hours. We placed a service call and the service person was very responsive and understanding. She dispatched a service technician who arrived punctually, was very knowledgeable and provided the necessary service getting our furnace working again. All this happened on the coldest night of the year. The service issue was a part that he did not have on the truck but he was able to make the repair using an alternative method which was safe and worked for the entire weekend until a new furnace could be installed. I am very pleased with the quality of their service, personal and fair pricing. I highly recommend this company.The company just completed the installation of our new furnace, again a very professional crew and job. They even swept out my garage to be sure nothing was left behind!
Im truly amazed with my experience with Ron and this company. My a/c went out on some of the hottest days to date. I have two small children. And Ron seemed genuinely concerned about their welfare and getting us up and running. He explained what the part did and why I needed it in a way that I could understand. Got us fixed at an affordable price. Which is rare in todays money grab. Rons the man. Thanks again.
We have been Dor Mar customers for a long time and have always had good service. Most recent experience was very positive as Dor Mar replaced, at no charge, a damaged/defective part that was installed over a year ago. Gary was in and out in no time at all and did a very good job. Also positive shouts out to Willie and Stone who have always gone above and beyond.

Terribly disappointed with the professionalism and the install. Scheduled them to install a thermostat. The thermostat was $130. They quoted me 300. The outdoor temp sensor was $30. They quoted me 60. They quoted me $99 on labor. I purchased the parts personally all they had to do was come out and install the thermostat. They did not program the thermostat properly the technician stated “ I cannot figure out how to program this thermostat“. Just received the bill for $200. Double what they quoted the labor. This is the third technician from this company we have had work on our property and not one of them seemed fully capable of the job that they were doing. If you decide to use this company make sure that you double check their quotes. Would not recommend to anyone. I am in the construction industry myself so I understand. But this is no way to treat customers.
We recently had a new furnace installed by Dor Mar, and it turned out to be a really great experience. The installers were prompt and friendly, they explained everything that they were doing. In the process of replacing our furnace they discovered that our hot water tank had a leak, and that very day, by noon, there was a new hot water tank and two installers to put it in.I am extremely happy with Dor Mar, and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.The following week we had Doug, the technician that cleaned the duct work, and he was fantastic, even if he did scare 4 of our 10 week old Yorkie puppies. They were afraid of the noise, and they are fine. The same day, Brad, the inspector came and made a few adjustments to the furnace, explaining everything that he was doing.Every employee of Dor Mar was prompt, personable, and we are extremely happy.
Rick from Dor-Mar, stopped by to do the yearly furnace maintenance yesterday.He was on time and answered my questions about the filters.Rick is very knowledgeable about HVAC and was very easy to talk to.
Quoted fee for service call included tune up fee. Came and falsely said our furnace needed replaced and that we had carbon monoxide. No tune up was done but they still wanted total fee. I wasn’t paying for the tune up since they didn’t do it. Called another company and furnace was tuned up, no carbon monoxide detected, and is now running without any issues.
Dor-Mar has provided heating, air-conditioning, and hot water heating installation and periodic maintenance services at my mothers condo for more than 10 years. In all cases, Dor-Mars technicians have been friendly, competent and courteous, and Cindy has done an outstanding job scheduling these services.
I enjoy working with this company. I believe I’ve been with them for about 5 years and I won’t use anyone else.

Our family has been using Dor Mar for years. Since buying this house, they have put in a new furnace, new central air conditioner, and maintain our hard wired Kohler generator. Just this month, they replaced all of the duct work under our house. It was a rough job but the result is we have had to turn down our air because we are freezing to death! We love it. Brandon and Ben did a great job!We have watched a few technicians come and go and have liked them all. We miss the ones that retired and are so glad to see our favorite, Willie, come back! He really knows his stuff!Although they get busy (because they are the best), they are worth the wait if you are willing to work with their demanding schedules. They usually get us fit in within days for a non emergency and super quick for emergency. The office staff do a fantastic job helping out with that and are always friendly! Cleaned my air duct system. Very Professional, honest, did a good job. Listened to all my concerns and worked around my schedule. I would use them again. They have also done other work for me as well and just as pleased. They addressed issues and I fixed the rest. Value says a lot, when it comes to quality and price.
Commercials say same day service. They scheduled for 2 days out, which I understand as its their busy season. Then they didnt show up. I called them repeatedly until after the 30th call someone finally answered, to be told the tech was going to be late. Scheduled for between 8am-12pm, and he showed up at 3:30. Then, he didnt even test my system. Just told me I needed a new one and that it would be $6000 or more. Quoted me triple what everyone else charges for refrigerant and for a new unit. When I complained he told me to call someone else, and good luck waiting 4 weeks for service. Well I did call someone else, and they came the next day and were on time and actually repaired my unit. I should have withheld the service call. I feel stupid to call these people and give them money for what essentially a strong-arm sales call.
Customer service and repair tech were both professional and knowledgeable. I just wanted an a/c check up and Garrett F. provided just that. Garrett performed diagnostics and was honest about state of unit and system. He did not try to upsell unnecessary services, parts. Would definitely recommend Dor Mar to others.
Dor Mar was an excellent company to work with when we were replacing our furnace. They were always on time, very professional, and really tried to help in any way that they could. Our AC stopped working and I called Dor Mar. They sent a tech out later the same day. Alan came out and diagnosed the problem, changed out the part and it was up and running within minutes of him coming. I am very impressed with his quality of work and his professionalism. It is so nice to have a company local that takes pride in their service and you do not have to wait weeks or even days for an appointment. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We have been using Dor-Mar for years for heating and air conditioning services in our home and investment properties. The schedulers and technicians are very professional and we always get an appointment quickly, for both routine and emergency services. Brian M. did our routine furnace maintenance today. As with other Dor-Mar technicians we have worked with, he arrived promptly and completed the job in a timely manner. We will continue to use Dor-Mar and would recommend them without hesitation.
Had to call on a Sunday late afternoon when our 16 year old heat pump quit heating. Quick response from Cindy (I hope!) who answered the phone. Wes called when he was on his way as promised, showed us what was wrong. We knew our furnace was going to need replaced because of its age - Wes didnt try to sell us anything only offered his advice on what we could do, including new units. He reviewed all brands available, pricing, and helped us determine what was best for our circumstances. We will be replacing our furnace and are converting to gas since it is available in our area. We are using DorMar for our install and will keep them for service. We were very pleased with Wes and his professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness.
We had issues with our hot water tank and our furnace in the same day. Dor Mar representative Ron came out on a Sunday at 8:30 PM to take a look at the furnace and replace a blown fuse. He also installed my Nest thermostat and ordered a new hot water tank replacement for us too. He was awesome!Thank you for taking care of us and providing great service!
Not at all happy with these guys. I would def be careful before choosing Dor Mar. closed all weekend so my concerns will have to wait until Monday so everyone, even the owner, can clock back in… sad. There are so many heating and cooling businesses in the area but these guys stand out…in the wrong way.
We have been using Dor Mar services for just over year now and have been highly satisfied! It started on Christmas Day over a year ago and the furnace went out. Dor mar quickly arrived said we needed a new furnace and within a day we were warm again. We purchased the service plan where they come out and check to make sure things are running smoothly. Recently during a service call a technician said that our air conditioner was about to go bad. So before that happened in the heat of the summer we had them install a new air conditioner and get our ducts cleaned out. The men, Nick and Dustin, who installed the air conditioner were so nice and professional! They got the work done in one day and communicated with me throughout the process. The men who did the duct cleaning we very courteous in trying to stay quiet as I work from home (I didn’t catch their names) I really appreciate that. Adam who was the technician who said our air conditioner was on its last leg was super friendly even coming back a second time that day to make sure we were good to go. This company is high quality. Shirley (I think that was her name) in the office was very helpful too helping us. They work as a great team and we highly recommend this company! Thank you Dor Mar for keeping my family comfortable in winter and in summer!
Excellent customer service and speedy installation! I literally requested a new air conditioner yesterday and Doug had it installed in under 3 hours this afternoon! I’m very impressed and so glad I chose Dor Mar to get the job done!!
Brian came out to my residence and serviced my two furnaces and repaired keeled with me what he was checking and why. Brian explained the maintenance needed each year and recommended we install a few more carbon monoxide detectors. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I have used Dor Mar on several other occasions and have always had great service. I also use DorMar for my rentals.

Zach and Dustin came today and installed my new unit indoor and outdoor. They called when they were on their way. Didn’t take them very long to install it. They were troopers doing all the work in the pouring rain. Dor-Mar was very good about getting us an appointment for replacement even though they said they were getting busy. Thank you for getting us a timely replacement and doing an overall great job!
PROFESSIONAL - HONEST & RESPECTFUL - I called Dor Mar for a second opinion after one of their competitors came out and tried to sell me a $5,700 repair. Dor Mor informed me that the parts that needed replaced were still under warranty (something the first company failed to mention). They replaced the parts and only charged me labor ($730). My system runs quiet and blows ice cold air. They were professional and very respectful of my home and family. Judging by their numerous positive google reviews (mine included), they are clearly doing something right.
Used them a couple times now: always comes out quickly, were able to address my issues both times on the same day. I would highly recommend.
Drew did an amazing job cleaning out the dryer vent that was 95 percent clogged. We have numerous bends in our vent and he took a lot of time making sure the job was done right. I would definitely recommend Dor Mar for any duct cleaning services.

Dor Mar was great! We had our old furnace go out on Friday. The tech came out and walked through options. On Saturday, the new furnace was installed. Doug and Tyler were our installers. They were right on time, did an outstanding job, and answered all of our questions. Thank you Dor Mar, Doug, and Tyler!
3/8/19 UPDATE: During regular maintenance of my new water heater tank, the tech Brian discovered a dime sized hole in a copper pipe above the tank as well as some leakage in a few other areas on the pipes and valve. He was great in explaining and showing me what needed to be done. He wrote up thorough notes for the guys who would be doing the pipe repairs.Today, Doug and Wes came and completed the pipe repair. They were very professional and helpful. They even brought drop clothes to cover the floor from the door down to the basement. I had not expected that. They did a super job and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with their level of service!July 2018 - I had Dor Mar install a new heat pump, furnace and water heater tank on Tuesday. The installers were professional and did a thorough job. I went down to my basement after they left and they left it in pristine condition. You wouldnt even had known they worked down there. Same with my garage. Spotless the area they worked in. Very happy. Highly recommend!

Brian was the technician on this job. He arrived timely, was professional and deliberate. He completed the repair returning the A/C unit to service with only about 3 hours downtime. Also thanks to Cindy who is a friendly and understanding voice scheduling service calls.
Our service tech Willie was very polite and professional. He did everything he could to fix our air conditioning unit. He put our worries at ease and we will definitely be using them again.
Our furnace went out overnight. We called first thing on a Saturday morning, they had Steve here in less than an hour. We decided to replace our old furnace as the one we had was here when the house was built in 1996. It was time for a new one. They had the new one here and being installed by 1130 am. Doug and Dustin installed our new furnace and whole home humidifier (highly recommend the humidifier) and it was like they werent really even here. They did an amazing job. Our home is warm again for the winter! Thanks guys!IOh, and Steve noticed a small leak on a pipe to our hot water tank, and came back and fixed that for free. Customer service was excellent!
Cindy has been fantastic to work with! We have regular maintenance done but have recently asked to have our ducts and vents cleaned! We are also adding UV to our ducts because of their fabulous customer care from Cindy! Dor Mar also answers right away on every call, answers questions with knowledge and doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t need and treats you like family!
I would not recommend Dor Mar. I hired them to service my furnace including cleaning it and also cleaning all my vents. 1st the furnace was not cleaned I had to pay another company to come clean it. They tried to tell me I needed a new unit and it was going to be $8500. The other company looked and said I do not need to replace it right now. I did ask them got a quote and it was $5800. 2nd when I called to schedule the vent cleaning I told them I had 18 foot ceilings. They showed up with a 6 or 8 foot ladder.I called and addressed my concerns. I gave them an opportunity to make this right and they have been silent and have not responded to my email now.
We were having trouble with our older furnace and called for service.Willie was great with troubleshooting and recommending the right replacement furnace for our home. Brad and Ben arrived early on Monday morning and did an excellent job installing the new furnace and air conditioner -- just in time for the drop in temperature. Wes from Dor-Mar came out on short notice when our furnace unexpectedly died. He was awesome and got us set up with a new one that they are installing at this moment, less than 24 hours later. Thanks again Wes! And thank you to everyone at Dor Mar.
I had them come out for a service call & my AC was completely frozen, unfortunately I had to buy a whole system. The purchase was easy and painless. I also had a fuse blow the next day after it was installed and the AC was not properly working. They came out on a weekend fixed it, and had it up and running in no time without any headaches.
We needed our furnace cleaned, and we couldnt afford the company we usually use so we called Dormar. We got a window of between 8am and noon, a young man by the name of Brian called and informed us he was about 15 minutes away. When he arrived he was very polite and more than efficient, he did a wonderful job and even gave us some great advice. We Highly recommend this company to anyone.
I called Dor Mar on Monday 7/1/19. We needed central air conditioning installed in our house. Their representative met with me on Tuesday afternoon. We discussed the a/c units that were available and what size was needed for my house. We scheduled the installation. Saturday, 7/6/19, the installation team arrived shortly after 8 am. I showed Ron and Matt where the furnace was and where the outside unit would be set up and they got right to work. They were professional in their work and courteous in their interactions with me. They cleaned up all of the debris and demonstrated the new thermostat. I would, and will, recommend Dor Mar and Ron and Matt, to anyone who asks me about my experience. Quick response. Knowledgeable representatives. Courteous associates. Excellent service.
Dor-Mar has been great to work with. Greg was our sales person. He discussed our options on picking the best unit for the size of our home. Brad and James were the installers. They were professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job on the install. Brandon came out after the work was completed to do Quality Control. Doug and Jeremy installed a mini split; they were on time, professional, and efficient. The entire new install took 2 hours. Nice and tight, looks great.I should add, next day service, which is absolutely amazing for the HVAC industry, in my experience anyway.
Brian Moore from Dor Mar had me fixed in 20 min for $10. What a relief! After the nightmare I went thru with another company.Background: On Sunday I came home to a house that was 85 degrees inside. I called my home warranty company who sent out Climate Heating and Cooling on Tuesday. They looked said I had part missing & it had to be approved for repair. He left me a service contract brochure but no details. On Thursday I hadnt heard anything so I called both places to find out what the status was. It was still 85 degrees inside! The home warranty said i had to fix it because of the missing part.I called Dor Mar who came out the same night. Fixed it in 20 minutes with two $5 dollar fuses. And viola I had air!
Derrick came out promptly to look at our furnace and do diagnostics to figure out why it wasn’t working. We knew of several issues that we had been nursing along, but alas, it was time to be replaced. Steve and Tim came out to install our new furnace the next day and we’re quick, professional, and personable. We had a great experience, thank you for getting us warm again!
From the first call through the installation, this company has been awesome. They are helpful and knowledgeable with their products but more than that, extremely customer friendly and dedicated to doing the work right. The technician, Brian, was extremely helpful in a tough situation, Stacy was great in scheduling the team and getting them to my home on such a cold afternoon. The installation team worked until 1:15 am to get the new furnace ready so that my family had heat and agreed to come back to double check levels. Thank you to Brad, Ben, Billy and Doug. Had an overall wonderful experience with the company. We received someone the same day to come and look at our furnace. We ended up needing a new one and was set up for an install the next day. I have had DorMar out multiple times for maintenance and installations. Most recently Rob and Ron did a great job installing duct fans for me. Every time I have used this company over the past 3 years they have been very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. Willie from Dormar was great. He contacted me giving me an exact time of arrival and was on time. Willie quickly diagnosed the source of my ac freezing up and leaking. He provided me with costs associated with the repair prior to undertaking anything and was able to explain the process of repairing the unit in terms I could understand. I had a new furnace installed last November by Dor Mar. The installers were friendly and professional. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that I could smell gas coming from the furnace when it was not running. I called Dor Mar’s friendly customer service department and they scheduled an appointment to have my furnace inspected. Brian, the service tech, did an awesome job! Brian found the leak and was able to replace the faulty fitting in no time. Brian is extremely professional and gives you the feeling that he is being completely honest with his findings and recommendations. I will be requesting Brian for any of my future servicing needs. I highly recommend you call Dor Mar for any HVAC issues.
We were planning to replace our furnace anyway but when the blower motor quit working in our old furnace, causing our AC to freeze up, we replaced it sooner than expected. Dor Mar was able to install our new furnace within two days (they could have been here the next day, but our schedule wouldnt allow it). Nick and Jason were very friendly and professional. They cleaned up and removed not only our old furnace, but all of the trash created from doing the installation. Were very pleased with the service we received.
Ron did a great job getting our furnace back up and running. He explained everything he was doing and what he was looking for with each part. In the end, it wasnt an expensive repair at all. He was on time, thorough and friendly.

After having furnace trouble, the old furnace had to be replaced. Ron and his crew worked on Saturday to install the new furnace. These guys are amazing treated you like family. A good sense of humor. Got the job done. Explained everything. Cleaned up after them selves. I would highly recommend Dor Mar to family and friends. They took pride in their work.
We have had multiple things done by Dor-Mar. Each time the people that came to our home were very polite and professional. They were respectful during the pandemic wearing masks! The last installation we needed was to install a ventless gas fireplace we had purchased. The two gentlemen that came were very respectful and polite! One was Doug Snow and the other ones name was Dillon. I unfortunately did not get his last name. We recommend Dor-Mar whenever we can! Thank you all!
Very Disappointed! Saw the good reviews online so I was hopeful that they were an honest company. Our furnace was not working so we called a few places and Dor-Mar was the only company able to come the next day, which seemed like we were off to a good start. They sent one technician out who determined that our circuit panel ($300) needed replaced. Again, so far so good. A second technician was sent with a circuit panel later that day, which he installed and then proceeded to tell us that the furnace was still not working and that our gas valve would also need replaced which would cost an extra $700, but that we might be best off replacing the entire furnace for $2500 as typically when parts in a furnace start to go bad, others will follow soon after.Luckily, the replacement valve that they said we needed was not available and wouldnt be able to be installed until a few days later, so in the meantime we had a friend who is a part time contractor stop over and take a look at the gas valve. He took a total of 2 minutes glancing at the furnace to realize that the technician from Dor Mar NEVER plugged in the circuit board!!!! He plugged in the piece missing from the circuit board, that was still in the box the contractor left behind, and instantly the furnace was up and running! Not sure if the technician was trying to scam us or just plain didnt know how to do his job, but I will, most definitely, always get a second opinion.
Helped late at night when heater stopped working. Here within 2 hours of calling and heat up and running quickly. Recommended duct cleaning and made an appointment 3 days later. On time, professional service from Drew Daubenmire when cleaning long overdue ducts.
Dor Mar did a great job of installing our new air conditioning system last year. Their service after the sale is excellent, too...they took the initiative to check in with us and make sure it was still running efficiently this year, and we scheduled a free follow-up inspection. Cindy helped us to get it scheduled quickly!

Ive had several interactions with Dor Mar and continue to be impressed with the company. Today, Brian came to do annual service on our AC. When we turned it on, it started making a loud buzzing sound (eek!), but Brian quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the offending parts, and now were ready for summer. He was congenial, professional, and efficient. I also appreciated that he gave me information about potential replacement options (the AC was here when we moved in and is getting on in years), but wasnt at all pushy about it. I like being educated on the status of the systems in my house, and feel more confident after this interaction. Im glad that I chose Dor Mar (it was based on Google reviews, actually). They installed our new furnace a couple months ago, and Im sure well have them do the AC when this one calls it quits.
Great service! Called on a weekend and by the next day Dor-Mar had a new furnace installed. All the techs (Garret, Nick, Doug, and Billy) were professional, trustworthy and fun to work with. They made a stressful situation so much easier and they worked tirelessly until the job was done right, and took the time to answer all my questions and educate me on the new equipment. I cannot state how much I appreciate the excellent service they (and Cindy and another lady I talked to on the phone) provided. I know theyll help me maintain things going forward, as well. Ron from Dormar was very professional,curteous and pleasant. I had a problems with the heat not coming on after using the air conditioner for the summer months. Ron from Dormar came to work on it and knew right away what was wrong, it was the gas valve, he left to go get the part came back and replaced it. He made sure before he left to see if all will work by turning the Air conditioner on for 5mins and then switch back to heating, after switching back over the heat start working just fine. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! I hired Dor Mar Heating AC Remodeling & Home Improvement, on 09-21-2020, to clean our furnace ducts before we have the whole inside of our new house painted. We also hired them to clean and service the furnace. Two crews arrived, one man for the furnace and two men for the duct cleaning. They all seemed to be hard working and friendly. They told me I had the cleanest ducts they have worked on. They also showed me where the ducts had been cleaned before by a different company. The furnace cleaning and the duct cleaning total was $650.00. I gave them a check that day, paid in full. The lady did say I would receive a Video Inspection before and after the cleaning. However, I was not offered to see any such videos. A few days later, because of a issue in our basement, we needed to re-route two 8ft sections of our heating ducts. When we opened the first one, about a half a cup of old dead lady bugs and clumps of dust fell out. The other one, next to it, had about a cup of leaves and the same kind of dust clumps. I thought these ducts were supposed to be cleaned? The next day we had to re-route a third section of heating duct, about 4ft long, in a different part of the basement. And what do we find when we open it? Dust clumps and small drywall pieces. This is 3 for 3! I paid to have these heating ducts “cleaned”. I did not receive any paperwork of any kind before or after the services. Nor, have I received a receipt. The only paperwork I have, is my canceled check for $650.00. I called Dor Mar and asked to speak to a manager. The lady said she they were not in and would give them a message. Over 40 days went by with no call back. When I would call (4 different times) and ask is a manager going to call me, all the lady (Cindy) could say is that she gave them the message. It has now been almost three months with no call back of any kind. I believe I have been taken advantage of. Three pipes of three pipes had dust and debris. WHAT AN AWLFUL COMPANY!!
All the above!!!!!!!Doug & Dustin did a Wonderful & professional job putting in me & my husbands new furnace yesterday. Yes it does take all day which did take 5-7 hours but totally worth it. In that time frame both employees did a great job and both made sure that everything worked correctly.Definitely a five star performance. Great job guys!!!!!

Willie came out before we went on vacation and just sprayed the outside unit and said coils needed cleaned and left. Ac still didn’t work so we called yesterday June 5th and they sent out Wes he was very professional and got the ac up and running in no time. He checked the levels and found a pump inside my house needed cleaned and 24 volt wire was hooked up and disconnected it. Airs on and is actually working. Thank you Wes I would give you a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for Willie who didn’t seem to care or want to do the job.
Have had wonderful service by Dor Mar heating and cooling. We’ve been extremely taken care of every time by Stevie and his crew! Today we had them out to fix some piping and Brian was so helpful in fixing the problem quickly! He was also extremely nice guy and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. They did a great job, Very courteous, very professional.They work quickly and well together and they did a great job it’s a nice clean install and cleaned up after themselves well. I cannot say enough good things about Dor Mar and their employees. We needed to have our AC unit replaced. The 2 young men that came to replace it were Doug and Dustin .These men were the exact idea of great employees. They were professional all the way.They were friendly, courteous,and very good at what they do. They took great care of making sure that they didnt mess up the hose but still did their job. What a job it turned out to be.They worked non- stop at getting a new one installed and up to running. We moved to a new house, and two days later the furnace stopped working. After a couple of frustrating experience, my husband called Dor Mar, and they were here the next day. We ended up getting a new furnace, and the guys who installed it did a great job. They showed me the cracked heat exchanger on the old furnace and encouraged me to take pictures for the home warranty. They explained the settings on the new furnace in detail, and installed a gas valve for just the furnace (as it had been hooked up to also turn off the stove prior to this). As a woman, I often feel talked down to by workmen, but these guys were great. A week later, Dor Mar sent out a quality inspector to check their work. It wasnt cheap, but we didnt want cheap, we wanted quality, and I absolutely feel that we got it. A final note: one of my husbands friends used to work in furnaces, and he said that the warranty they offered was exceptional in his experience. I wan very happy with Dor Mars service, and very grateful to have a functional (and efficient) furnace!
My furnace broke down. Dor Mar came and checked it out the same day. My furnace was 28 years old and had to be replaced.They came and replaced it two days later.
Brian and Paul came out and spent 12 hours at my house making sure that everything was perfect. They were extremely professional and checked with me at every turn to make sure we would be happy with layout. Fantastic service especially given that it is Friday, when most would just check out!Garrett came out within a couple hours of calling. Our furnace fan motor and other components were shot. He walked us through the process and options and spent as much time as I needed to feel comfortable with how to move forward. I highly recommend them.

Dor Mar Heating & Air Conditioning just finished installing a new furnace in my home. The 2 technicians that came out (Brandon S. & Chris D.) were very polite, informative and gave excellent customer service. They not only cleaned under the old unit, installed the new unit & thermostat, they also helped me get my water back running which had frozen from the cold temperatures. They also noticed that my washer and dryer were not level and they fixed that as well! They made me feel so comfortable through the whole process and Im happy they were the technicians working in my home. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family and would use them again if needed. Thanks for being a great company!!
Great customer service with same day installation due to our situation. Installers Nick and Doug D did great on the water heater and noticed issue with furnace called tech out Greg who found cracks and blow outs on the heat exchanger that he showed me on the camera for proof so I wasn’t just taking his word. Instantly worked deal on new furnace and got Steve Hixon and Red (Brian) out to take out old and replace with new. All done same day and also got duct cleaning done by Billy and Doug who did awesome and showed pictures before and after of what they found and how they were after. Cindy will also take care of you when you call and point you in the right direction to get you taken care of. Couldn’t beat the service I got and how quickly I got taken care of.
Great company! They answered our initial call when our AC died 2 years ago on a Saturday and had a crew at the house to install on Monday. The service tech Brian has been to our house a couple of times for our included spring and fall maintenance checks and is very professional and polite.

Dor Mar found an issue with our a/c compressor. Greg was able to order the replacement part and have it installed within 24 hour. Doug did a excellent job installing the compressor. Very happy and having ducts cleaned next.
DorMar is an outstanding company that provides excellent customer service. Our furnace quit working and they were very flexible with the scheduling of our service appointment to meet our time constraints. Garret was our tech and was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. We ended up needing a new furnace and they were very helpful and timely with the installation. Our installers were Brad and Steve. They were very experienced, courteous, and maticulous. We are also impressed that they sent Kim out at a later date to inspect the finished work. Steve was very helpful and courteous with helping us decide on what needed to be done when our furnace had to be replaced quickly because of a bad heat exchanger. A technician (Wes?) was here last week and found the problem with my AC. (Within 24 hours of my call.) He told me what I might be able to do to get it to work intermittently until a part came in. His suggestion did work so I was not without AC over the weekend.Brian was here today and fixed everything. He was very nice, professional and helpful. We had returned from vacation with our house in the mid 80s because our air conditioner was not putting out cold air. We called Saturday morning and explained our situation and that we have 2 children with bad heat sensitivity and we needed it fixed as soon as possible. Spoke with the receptionist and she promised that someone would be there that afternoon and they would call before they came. She even said she would only charge me a service call like it was a Monday instead of the emergency fee for it being a weekend. It was 4pm and we called again and they lady said they would be there and that the tech had a list of 20 people but would be there. A tech called and said he was at a job and wouldn’t be able to get to our house until after 10pm. He said he would be here in the morning (Sunday) before noon which is today. He said he would call before he came. My husband explained to him that it had to be in the morning because our son had tournaments that afternoon at 3:30. The tech said oh that’s fine I will be there in the morning. No one showed up. A different tech called us around 4:00pm and said no one put any notes in our file and that he was a different tech than yesterday and that he was leaving a job in zanesville and had one in thornville and he would call us after the thornville job when he was on his way. My husband called him a couple hours ago and he said he had received a bunch more calls and that he has something’s to do and should be able to head our way in an hour and he would call us when he was on his way. It’s now been over 2 hours and we tried to calling him and he won’t answer! This is absolutely unprofessional. WILL DEFINITELY BE REPORTING THIS BUSINESS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!!!
Just wanted to give Dor-Mar the best review. I called them Tuesday and Cindy I believe answered the phone and was super helpful and nice and got me scheduled the next morning to replace my leaking garbage disposal. Willie was the plumber who came out and let me know when he was coming and was super nice and personable and of course knowledgeable. Top notch on communication so I knew exactly what I was getting. He was in and out fast. Thanks guys, definitely get my recommendation.
Ron was extremely kind and respectful when he came into my home for my routine furnace maintenance. He also explained everything in detail and even solved an issue I was having that a previous technician had missed! I would request him again, if I could!

My wife, Kathy and I have been using Dor Mar for years. All the technicians that have ever came out to work on something have ALWAYS been nice and polite and really seems to know what they are doing...One of their technicians, Willie Neighbor came out yesterday, just to inspect our furnace and we needed a new thermostat.. and he had to come back today with the new part. He was just so polite and came in and did his job in no time and we were just so satisfied with him. I would recommend Dor Mar to all my friends and family.
Brian was great! He called before coming to our house, very courteous, asking if 20 minutes was enough time. Arrived within time stated and took time to acknowledge/ pet our dogs, making them feel comfortable. He then went on to explain what he was doing, walked me thru the process as he went along and even waited to check results of his fix. He suggested a few extra services but was not pushy. Overall pleasant experience!
Again Dor-Mar answered the call!! I came home to hear water running and found a pond in my basement as water cascaded out of my Hot Water tank. I called Brandon and sent him pictures of my old hot water tank. He said that he could have someone out the next day. That was New Year’s Day. I told him I could wait for the next day. Steve and Brian came about 4 pm. They went right to work and were almost done in about 30 minutes when Steve found rust damage to my vent pipe. He said that he did not have the necessary equipment on the truck to fix it properly. So he drove to Lowe’s and bought what was needed, came back and replaced the whole line. They cleaned up and were done. I couldn’t be happier with my service from this great company and their quality employees. Don’t waste your time with anyone else. Call DOR-MAR first!!
Ive had technicians here several times over the last month due to having a really old furnace. All the Technicians have been spectacular. I ended up purchasing a new furnace and having my duct work cleaned. I ordered all this yesterday and they showed up today and its all complete already. What an amazing job!! I cant say enough about how curious and helpful they all were. Brian, Billy, Wes and Doug worked there butts off today. They deserve a huge raise for the hard work they all did. Thank you !!!

My husband and I woke up this morning to our furnace not working. We called Dor Mar this morning and Steve was here within an hour. He was very helpful and informative about what we should get. We ended up getting a new furnace since the one we had was from 1996. Doug and Dustin showed up at 11:30 and worked nonstop to install our new furnace and humidifier (so excited about this). I would highly recommend Dor Mar. We were very impressed with their work.
Cindy in customer service is very friendly and helpful. All the technicians are great, very knowledgeable and friendly. DorMar has been servicing my appliances for almost 20 years.In that time I have purchased a new air conditioner, furnace, water heater and water softener from them. We had our two AC units serviced today and it was quick and painless! Alan Melville is a nice young man who was very professional and helpful. His suggestions for prolonging our old unit were appreciated and I took him up on the offer to install a part for it.

This company is AMAZING! Not only did they send a guy out at 9:30 last night, they offered to bring electric heaters today if they couldn’t get the parts today to fix the furnace. They went the extra mile to get the parts today so we would have heat. The guy that came last night was friendly, professional and explained everything and even found a leak from the water heater. The two men that came today, Ron and Bryson, are fantastic! They spent time with our dog so she would be comfortable around them and explained everything they were doing. They have fair prices and I didn’t feel like they were talking down to me at all. I highly recommend this company. Employees make or break a company and the employees here definitely make this company!
Our AC was repaired the next day by Brian. He did a fast repair without trying to sell us on services we did not need. I would recommend this company to others looking for reliable service.
Our furnace decided to give us trouble on the coldest day weve had in awhile. We had to get a new furnace because ours was very old and outdated, they couldnt get the parts anymore. Brian was very courteous and professional. He arrived earlier than scheduled and was very informative about the service and our issues. He tried to replace the capacitor 1st but unfortunately the blower motor was seized up and had to be ordered. We have used Dormar previously and been very satisfied with their service!
What incredible service. Our AC went out on Monday, we placed a call to Dor Mar Heating & Air Conditioning, someone was out to look at our issue the same day!! It was determined that our AC was done (this happens when they hit 15 years), we went ahead and ordered a replacement. The very next morning someone was at my front door to install my new AC unit!! The crew was professional, friendly, patient and informative. They had the new unit installed in a few hours, this includes taking the time to educate me about the work they had done and how to use the new thermostat.If I need AC help in the future this will be my one and only call, I suggest you make it yours too!!
Steve and Chris were dispatched today to do some repair work on my hvac unit. It was by far the best experience I have had with any service work in my home. They both were polite and knowledgeable. First really cold day of the year and the furnace went...on a Sunday!Dor Mar was open for business and sent Jeff who correctly diagnosed a bad circuit board. Next day he not only came back with the right circuit board, but also confirmed that the part was covered under the warranty.Outstanding friendly service. Quality workmanship. I HIGHLY recommend them for heating and air conditioning work.
Great service! Our Furnace decided to quit on New Years Eve and they made it same day and had us running again. Ron the technician that arrived was very professional and knowledgeable and had us up and running quickly. Well definitely use them again for future HVAC needs.
Dor-Mar, specifically Ron McLaine, has provided our church with superior service over the last year. The current job involved major work in a room crowded with 5 units....which included moving gas lines, electrical, ductwork, PVC and drilling through a concrete wall. They completed the entire project in two days, keeping us up to date with status along the way. Very pleased with the entire project.

It was a 90 degree day and my grandpa had no air conditioning. I called Dor-Mar and they sent Wesley Frasure right out and fixed the problem that evening. I have been a Dor Mar customer for many years and have always been impressed by the expertise, courtesy and caring of all the technicians who have serviced my home over the years. My recent experience was one more example of this excellence. Willy, a technician I met yesterday came to service the hot water heater. He did this, then recommended replacing a corroding fitting and pipe and made an appointment for this service on the spot. He also tightened a bolt on my kitchen faucet that no one else has been able to fix. Not only was he very professional and helpful, took that extra step to make me feel that I was a valued customer. Dor Mar come out to inspect our AC and get it ready for summer and found out our compressor was bad. It then went to a complete new install for AC.Everyone we dealt with was very courteous and professional. Doug and Dustin were our installers, what an outstanding job these two young men did. I want to thank Dor Mar and Doug and Dustin for a great job.
Ron and Adam were awesome. They did all the ductwork for my new ac and furnace. Looks awesome and cleaned up all the mess. I recently made two service calls to Dor Mar, and they sent a technician the same day on both occasions. Chris was my technician for both calls, and he was even there within 30 minutes of me calling on the second call. He was very polite and knowledgeable, and he made sure I understood all of my options. Cindy and Stacy in the office were very helpful as well. I will definitely use Dor Mar again!
The technicians who installed our furnace did an excellent job and were very honest about telling us when an item that was part of the installation package did not need to be replaced. This saved us money, but more importantly, did not uselessly put another metal item into the landfill.We now have a new, efficiently working furnace. Thank you, Brad and Ben!
We just purchased our new home and the central air stopped working, being new to the area we had been hearing all about Dormar so we gave them a call, they were there the same day! Brian the technician was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He repaired the unit in no time, made suggestions and let us know what our options are! We will definitely be repeat customers!!
There were a few problems with the furnace replacement (gas leak, drain lines leaking, route of new water line to humidifier), but Justin (boss) came back with the techs and took care of everything. Cindy was wonderful to deal with on the phone. Brian & Brad did excellent work on coil cleaning, Halo installation, and duct cleaning. Both communicated well and asked for customer satisfaction before completing. Steve, the owner, listened to my problems, made sure they were taken care of quickly, and offered a nice discount to do the coil cleaning, Halo installation, and duct cleaning.
We have used DorMar for a couple of years. They fixed a problem with our furnace that 2 other companies didn’t. We love that the maintenance program includes a furnace, air conditioner, and water tank check; and that they call you to set it up, so you don’t need to remember it needs done. Each tech that has been to our house has been professional, courteous, and answered any questions we have had. Garrett was here today for furnace maintenance. He was friendly, focused on what he was doing, and finished in about 15-20 minutes. He called ahead of time and was here with the timeframe given. We highly recommend DorMar!

Rob and Derek jut left after cleaning my air ducts and furnace. They did an excellent job and provided pictures showing the before and after. They were very friendly and pleasant. Ron was most helpful in explaining what our furnace problem was and our options. He shared ways to make things more efficient. Very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. Alan was sent a couple days later with parts and was able to complete the work discussed. We were very pleased with the timely manner they were able to resolve things.
Called DorMar when my air conditioning went out and made an appointment with Greg to come to my home Wednesday for free estimate. He was friendly and efficient. Brian and Robert came out next day and they did a great job with the installation of heat pump and air handler. Little problem with amount of cooling on Friday evening around 8:15 pm so I called the 24/7 # and Alan came out to house and everything was taken care of by 10:15 pm. I am very pleased with DorMar service-thank you.
I want to give a shout out to Garret, Brian and Paul.Garret’s inspection of my furnace revealed cracks in the heat exchanger. He pointed them out and I could see them. For safety, I could not restart the furnace. Garret showed me new furnace models and answered all my questions. I chose a furnace and he arranged for the installation for the next day. His supervisor came to the house, checked everything and even left 2 space heaters for my use. Thank you!The next morning, Brian and Paul arrived with the new furnace. I asked them to check the air conditioner. I told them that I should have thought of it the day before. The unit was several years old and I asked if they could replace it, too. Brian was extremely helpful, making all the arrangements with the office and even helped me negotiate the financing. The AC unit was delivered a few hours later. Brian installed the furnace and AC with the skill of an artist. His duct work is amazing! He explained how the the furnace, humidifier and AC worked, and even demonstrated how to check and change the filters. He made sure I knew how the new thermostat worked before he left.Paul was just as accommodating. I appreciated his attention to details, especially insulating the pipes he had fabricated on site. Both Brian and Paul were pleasant, patient and very neat. I had no clean up to do! They were a great team.I want to thank these men for outstanding work. Even though I added an AC installation to the job, they completed all the work in the same day! I am very satisfied with the new equipment and the installation. I highly recommend Dor Mar.Brian and Billy did a fantastic job cleaning the ducts and installing a UV light. They were professional and friendly. They answered all my questions. I’m extremely satisfied!
Our hot water tank died and ,of course, it was on a weekend. We called on Monday morning and Brian arrived on Tuesday to install a new unit. He was efficient and courteous. He made sure not to track dirt (or snow) into our home. On Wednesday they sent Kim to check installation and to make sure our new unit was functioning properly! Everyone we talked with and met was professional and courteous. Great service!

From first call things were good. I requested a Goodman A/C (because no problems with previous Goodmans). Did not try to talk me into another brand.Next, Stacey was very good to work with as my 203k loan paperwork was aggravating Im sure.Brian & Bryson were splendid and had good personalities and knowledge. Their supervisor stopped by to offer assistance and was a great guy and respectful to his crew. Advised rather than telling them how to do their job. I bought lunch and gave them $20. I wish everyone would tip those service techs they are a cut above the crowd. I have called 21 driveway contractors and it has been two weeks with only one return call.Give Dor-Mar a chance. I had work done on my roof unit at my office, the tech failed to reinstall the cover which led to entire innards to be corroded. They sent somebody out 8 months later to repair that damage at no charge. 7 months later, the blower stopped working again. This time I was told that it was out of warranty and I was on the hook for the new blower. I cant believe that a company will not stand behind their work 7 months after the replacement was installed. This is the last time I will use them for my home or my business. I appreciate that they reached out to me after this bad review, but the rep I spoke to checked with his boss and was told that I am out of luck. I will not let you try to save face and make me go on a wild goose chase. I am in contact with the company that made the blower to see if it is warrantied. If so, you will be hearing from my attorney for not doing the work that was under warranty.

We have been with Dor Mar since 1990. We have always had good service. The Techs that have been here are professional, caring people.When my brother was in the dying process. I was away from home in another part of the state, our air conditioner went out. I called them gave the garage door pass. Dor Mar came in replaced the air conditioner. I could not ask for a more honest caring company. Wes was the last Tech here. He came in checked everything. I would recommend Dor Mar to all.

I talked with Cindy at the Newark office not just five minutes ago, she was a sweetheart in helping me out. Brian just left after checking out our A/C and furnace and he was very polite and helpful by answering my questions that I had. Brad is doing our air ducts and he has been very nice this whole time also. He even let me know about my sons dresser should be placed elsewhere and why. Over all great people. Highly recommend Dor Mar. Service technicians are so knowledgeable and professional..Brian Moore is awesome, so helpful! Always get great service from this company. Our first experience was when our furnace broke on the coldest night of the year. My wife went down the phone book alphabetically and just started leaving messages, Dor Mar was about the fifth message we left so when they called back we already had another company on the way. Dor Mar called again later that night to check on my family and make sure we didnt need anything and that we had heat. We have been with them for thirteen years now.
I just want to rave about Ron for a minute. I live in an apartment complex and in my unit, something was causing my furnace and thermostat to blow, resulting in subzero temperatures inside my house. After trial and error with the apartment maintenance staff, the property manager decided to call in the experts of DorMar to solve the issue once and for all.Ron did not leave my house until he knew 100% that my furnace was in good working condition. He went above and beyond and installed a brand new thermostat because the one the apartment complex provided was faulty. He even went as far as installing a new transformer in the heat pump. Even though his company had their holiday party at 5, he was at my house until then and was adamant about making sure I had heat by the time he left. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and although we had to try a couple things before the thermostat finally kicked back on, remained positive and was nice as ever. I cant thank Ron enough for finally bringing heat back into my life, as this issue had been going since November.THANK YOU RON!
Requested time and materials job support on a renovation project. 7 weeks of phone calls and they even came to the site. They would schedule and then not show up. I had to hire another company to finish the work that they stated that they could update for this project. Too busy to take calls and show up when scheduled. They only wanted to bill me for a maintenance agreement. I have used Dor Mar in the past, but I will consider using the other company moving forward.
I called at 12pm and by 1:30pm they had a technician at our home. He was very kind and knowledgeable. Brian was wonderful and took care of our issue very quickly. I would recommend Dor Mar to anyone needing HVAC service!

Had issues reaching an HVAC company when my furnace went out. Dor Mar returned my call quickly and scheduled a technician to come out. Price of replacement parts and age of furnace made replacement the best long term option. Technician didnt oversell and steered me toward a reasonably priced and high quality product. Installers came the next day. All Dor Mar personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They earned a long time customer.

Robert came to clean our ducts today. He was able to come early & called before he came. He let me know what he was doing during the process & did a great job. He even cleaned the dryer vent! I recommend that anyone call & schedule a duct cleaning. You would never imagine how dusty they are! (Robert even showed me pictures of them!)
Prompt with the appointment time. Very knowledgeable on fixing the AC unit.I would have given them five stars but I had to pay $300 for a $16 part that took 5 minutes to put in. I understand you need to make a profit but that is ridiculous!
Sunday morning (4 am) my furnace makes crazy sounds. Sunday morning 8am call placed to Dor Mar. Sunday morning 11:15 am a tech is in house, diagnosed the problem which was more serious than I could imagine.(Mind you this happened at a time where the temp never reached above single digits for 4 days straight.) Order placed for new unit/install/maintenance agreement made that day. Monday night 7pm new unit in and running.The installation that was done by Allan and Ken was OUTSTANDING. They went right to work and never stopped. Very very professional, friendly, and approachable. They were very thorough with their work and maintained a high level of quality in that work for the entire instal. Never took a break!I am extremely happy with my decision to call Dor Mar and suggest anyone who needs heating and cooling needs to call them!
Having issues on a Sunday isnt ideal, but Dor Mar Heating sent a technician out in around an hour. Got my heat working quickly. Ron was very professional & informative. I have used this company in a commercial property and also in my home. I am really impressed with everyone I have come in contact with. Randy diagnosed and repaired several pieces of equipment in a large office building. He was conscious and skilled. Chris has serviced a gas fireplace in our home. He figured out the problem ordered the pats and installed them. He did a great job. I placed a call to the company on a Friday afternoon with some concerns regarding the placement of the logs. The receptionist place me on hold for just a moment and came back and told me Chris would stop by this afternoon. He was here within the hour. Made some adjustments. There was no charge. This company goes out of their way to give great customer service. I will definitely recommend them.

Willie was an amazing technician. He came in and asked if there were any concerns and addressed every one. He also went above and beyond and even fixed my front door knob since he had the right tools to do it. I have been wrestling with it for months. His professionalism was great! Brian came out and serviced my unit at exactly my scheduled time. They were also able to provide me with special pricing on the initial inspection. My unit is rather old so I didnt expect good results. He explained what was wrong, what could be fixed and what my options were. After reviewing what would be the best option we decided on a route and he fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Both me and my dogs thank Brian as we are no longer panting in the heat!

2022-04-26The whole Dor Mar team was awesome! Highly recommend. We had Wes, Cody and Brad. They were quick to respond, with great advice on what road to take. Air conditioner went out, assessment done in less than 24 hours and a completely new unit was installed in less than 48 hours. For a mom of 3 young kids, this was a lifesaver and gave me such peace of mind. High recommended! Will use again for any other heating or cooling need!

Chris and his other partner where very professional how they handled the work and talked me through what they where going to do and showed me the difference the cleaning of the vents and dryer vent. The two hour window was very nice and the call from the Tech Chris was nice to let me know he was about 35 minutes out! Great job guys and would for sure recommend you guys to anyone!

They checked and double cheked that everything was working correctly before leaving. They walked us through the new components, like the UV light, which we did not have on our previous unit.They were very knowledgeable, friendly, personable and professional. They were very thorough and we would highly recommend them.Rick Conley brought all the parts to repair our system, but after inspecting our system, he suggested a new unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained why a new unit would be more efficient and save money in the long run. He took the time to show us what the issues were and answered all of our questions. He took extra time to get pricing and different options to ensure the best quality at a reasonable price. He was very friendly and personable too. That made him very easy to talk to and I would highly recommend him.

2022-01-06My furnace was pushing cold air one morning and I gave Dor-Mar a call around noon to get someone out to look at it. Wes arrived less than 2 hours later and identified the faulty part, but more importantly, got my furnace running while we waited for the part to ship. The next day, the problem came back, but Wes walked me through the process over the phone to get the heat back on. The part came the next day and I couldnt be happier with how the entire interaction went. Wes was kind and extremely knowledgeable and I cant recommend them enough!

2022-03-24Tankless water heater, and furnace humidifier & UV light installed. Doug & Trent had to install a different gas line into basement & then had to coordinate with Columbia Gas rep. They also had to install a separate regulator as the gas company has changed their policy on adjusting pressures with newer homes. Exceptional in all the unexpected additional conditions going well over & above. Way to go Doug & Trent of Dor Mar!
