The ladies were understaffed but making the best of it. My pre-k kiddo had an accident and we needed a change of clothes; although some items were out of stock, I was able to put together an outfit. At the time i was there (mid-day, June 9, 2020) there were lots of restock totes out, but being understaffed meant the customers at the register were taken care of and one employee was walking around to engage with customers and reinforce store & social distancing rules.
Nice staff the Club a couple door down at night can be challenging. The area is not that great there are homeless people stealing and causing drama sometimes but I love Dollar Generals deals so they cant keep me away.
Very clean and organized. You never stand in line long. DG needs to give everyone raises because its not like that at most locations. Everyone is so polite also and mannerable. Especially the two employees with glasses. A guy and a young lady.
It has been a couple of years since I went into this location. But the one closer to me is kind of dirty so I went here instead. This location is DISGUSTING. Filthy is an understatement. The floors havent been cleaned in so long they may never come back clean. They, like the backdoors, columns, and walls are visibly filthy. Boxes are stacked in aisles needing unpacked while shelves are empty or a complete mess. Racks of clothes shoved any kind of way. Clearly without thought to someone shopping. Every manager involved in this travesty needs fired. Store, regional, district need to go because I cant believe that a district or regional manager saw this nastiness and didnt take action. Just close it and start over. Dollar General corporate should be embarrassed.
Friendly workers and everything was in stock that I needed. Toddler outfits were a good price and actually had toys.
They were out of what I came for. But I still grabbed some other stuff. The store was actually in good shape and the retail clerk was courteous
This store is very clean, well stocked and its easy to find what youre looking for. The staff are friendly, happy and helpful ☺ Ill be back soon!
Love Dollar General, I can always find what I need at a lower cost. Grateful for the late hours since there are so many times I have forgot something and need to go back later. Thanks for being so close.
Good store, most people are friendly. Their inventory is kind of hit or miss sometimes. Some days theyll have bread and milk, other days they wont. Also, the store closes an hour earlier than it says on Google Maps.
Terrible customer service the new manager is very rude & disrespectful every time I go their its drama with the staff or ridiculous lines with the staff not around, I would advise you to go else were ...an also while your checking out you have customers standing were u check out so there is no personal space to even keep your credit card information protected!!!! Smh just badddd!!!👎🏻

Parking lot is always Trash Ridden and the trash can overflowing with garbage as it blows into those little garbage tornados with the yellow bags and other debris spinning about...But ay least you can watch the shoplifters young and old while you wait for the lady who, halfway through checking out decides she wants the Frappacino she put back earlier, as the line grows, a Mom is teaching her daughter the finer points of theivery while going in and out of the store 3 or 4 times ... Workers are nice but have given up ...Disappointed
It seems like all the stores that have had remodels are always empty they dont have enough staff stock the shelves they had carts of product all over the store just sitting there
Always seem to have a convenient location, and seems like theyre always open. Courteous staff, location, and of course, great prices! Shhhh...dont tell anyone 🤫

2021-09-23This place is disgusting, they dont even try to organize. There is food mixed in with cleaning supplies. Empty packages from theft everywhere. Ladders left unattended. Disaster everywhere and multiple aisles cant even be walked down. Plus even tho we are under a mandatory mask mandate in Columbus the employees were not wearing masks. The cashier didnt have a mask or a clear plastic partition. All pictures taken today, 09-23-2021. I realize its Dollar General, not Target, but this was despicable.

2022-06-11I used to love shopping @ Dollar General E. Dublin Granville Rd but the store has gone way downhill in the last year. All of the aisle ways are always blocked with boxes stacked on other boxes that need to be put on the shelves. They cashier line is always backed up and I know that the store does not have enough employees but the employees that they do have really do not care. The store was closed for a week earlier this year because a customer fell over a box in the aisle and got hurt. I took a picture last week of the store in the back area you could not even see the aisle because all of the boxes were in the way please do something about this store. I feel bad for the store manager actually I know she is overwhelmed. If a district manager cares about their stores some changes need to be made. He asked the corporate and the district Dollar general would you shop at a store that look like this? I feel like this store is in a position where no one cares and it may be shut down which in fact maybe you should

2022-05-15First of all this store is NEVER fully stocked. You cant reach most products due to large carts and boxes in the way. Due to lazy employees most shelves are bare. I was in this store on Saturday and the young girl at the counter decided to vent about how overwhelmed she is and then tried to push me through the line as fast as possible. Literally with only one other customer behind me. I picked up the bags I seen (while she was already packing the other persons shopped items)She didnt even offer me a receipt. I got home and realized that I had a few items missing and yet didnt have my receipt. So I tried calling and received no answer. I just went back to the store(that of course is way under stocked )and was called a liar,barred from the store and this manager was screaming and called me a scammer and in front of a bunch of customers. Her mouth and attitude was disgusting and I wont stop until I know that she is held responsible for her lazy and beyond horrible customer service!!

2022-05-14STAY AWAY Nastiest dollar general I have ever been too. You can tell they dont even try to stock or clean anything. The customers were an inconvenience to the cashier. They need to pull the plug on this one.

2021-08-12It’s 2pm and I needed a pack of chicken and some toilet paper, but the doors are locked. The lady is shutting down the cash register and shaking her head no..... 4 other customers and I wait patiently for an explanation bcuz she didn’t even put a note on the door. This chick walks out the store locks the gate and gets in her red dodge van..... then pulls right off. Unprofessional..... she could have at least apologized for the inconvenience.

2021-11-16This store is absolutely falling apart. I have never seen a store so unkempt, unstocked, and frankly unsafe to be in. The isles were completely blocked buy freight, boxes, merchandise that has been taken off the shelf or that is waiting to be stocked, or carts full of random items. There was so much product on the floor it was impossible to push a cart down in aisle, if you were able to get around the random tables that were set up in completely random areas. The two employees that were stocking the shelves were doing so in the absolute slowest possible manner, while stopping frequently to check their phones or send text messages, all the while using foul language in the process. Some parts of the store where frankly unsafe to be in, as it was so much merchandise on the floor it was a fall hazard, especially the storage aisle where random lids were on the ground and were hard to see, and when stepped on turned into ice skates. I understand that times are hard and so is help hard to find, but this is absolutely a disgrace. Having been in retail for several years I know that there are hard times- but there are also times when you need to ask for help, make command decisions or get things done however you see fit- this is not being done at the store level, and whoever is in charge of the store from the district/corporate level should be ashamed. You obviously havent been by the store in a while- or you dont care. You are not doing your job to assure that the store is at its maximum potential all the time, let alone safe for customers to shop. Heaven forbid someone gets injured there, but its just a matter of time unfortunately. Wont be shopping here ever again.

2021-07-16Came in yesterday and got my daughter a 25 dollar Roblox card. Guy charged me 33 dollars and some change. I was in a hurry but I called the store over 8 times and nobody answered. After I go up there and get my change back, I will never be back. I know thats not that much but its mine. And the fact they have 2 to 3 workers in there running around, its bullsh$t nobody answered the phone!

2020-11-22Mngmt are not professional. They carry their attitudes from outside to work. Though i personally never had an incident with them...i have seen them interact with other customers and have handle customers as if customer service is not needed. They almost always have what i need when i go there. Its just not a really good vibe there.
