It’s funny reading all the comments complaining about masks. There is a mask mandate in Ohio and you are expected to wear a proper CDC approved mask. Those thin “neck guards” don’t do anything. If you can’t wear one properly then don’t go out. I feel bad for the cast members who have to deal with these hillbillies every day. I witnessed one in person too and it was quite the show. Watching a 40+ woman throw a fit like a toddler. Giving a great store with great employees 1 star ratings just because they’re enforcing rules? Because you can’t follow simple rules? grow up
Wasnt able to return online order in store. Only 2 associates were working when I arrived. Store manager was in the back room, sales associate on the floor. I wasnt greeted when I entered nor were any of there 7 customers who came in after me. Floor associate stood at the register the entire time texting on phone, they didnt engage at all with any customers in the store and not even myself as I stood there waiting for the manager to come back to assist me more with my online return. I observed customers walking in and out of the store not being helped. I also observed one customer approach the sales associate for assistance as she was struggling to find shoes she was looking for. Very poor and not your normal level of customer service from this location. Very disappointing to see associate on cell phone while customers are shopping in store.
I like this store because Im a toy collector and they sometimes have some of those neat Disneyland type items like the mysterious mansion stuff. I went in one day though and one of the women was being a bit of a karen but I just ignored it. I realize she probably doesnt understand us toy collectors and how passionate we can be about our toy collecting. But overall a nice store!
We tried to visit today. As soon as we got in the door the manager reminded us to keep our masks above our noses at all times. Then we were asked if we had a mask for our 3 year old. We did not and will not force our young child to wear a mask. She then said she had to have him wear one while in the store. While we understand that they are able to enforce their policies. We just said we would not be forcing our child to wear a mask and that we would leave. She seemed to not care at all to lose business. Just know that you will have this same experience while visiting the Disney store. 👎
Ashley Marks went above and beyond to assist me in getting a Christmas gift that was no longer available at our local Columbus store. She’s the sweetest, kindest, and most generous person to help a customer over the phone to find a way to make it work. The way she was willing to help a stranger is so greatly appreciated.
Used to love this store. I also understand that COVID is somehow a political topic anymore. With that being said I respect the rules and guidelines and my wife and I wear our coverings appropriately. My daughter was absolutely ecstatic to visit this store however the last two times we’ve been we have been told my 3 year old HAS to wear a mask. Listen, I understand, but good luck getting this little lady to wear a mask at all. I’m simply blown away at the lack of simple Understanding here. She won’t wear it but maybe 3 seconds then removes it. Also the only “kids” store in Monroe outlets out of Ohio that decides to enforce this so strictly. Although she didn’t ask us to leave, she made us feel unbelievably uncomfortable because we can’t get our child to “mask up”. To the people who shop here, I hope that your kid can wear a face covering, otherwise, plan on shopping elsewhere.
They do require your 2 year old to wear a mask. Ha! Even the Children’s Hospital says a 2 yr old only has to wear it if they will keep the mask on! We did comply (only because my 2 year old was interested in copying us and wearing the mask), as they provided us with a child size mask. I feel bad for the employees as they have to state their COVID rules for every single person who enters the store. It is all silly as my 2 year old pulled her mask down and attempted to eat it, and I saw other children her age leaving the store with their masks removed. What is the point of a toddler or small child wearing a mask?
I always go to this Disney Store, I am able to find something to add to my Disney collection every time. I love this selection because I live in Ohio where we arent exactly close to any of the parks. And the staff is always friendly and resourceful. Thanks for a good experience each time.
Very nice outlet with a good mix of clothing items and toys. There was a representative set of current merchandise and discounted park items. The store was also managing social distancing well - only a set number were allowed in at a time, reminders were given on proper mask wearing, and the checkout stations were cleaned after every customer.
Walked in the store to be told I need to have a face mask on when I am fully vaccinated shame on the store for not putting any sign up saying so FYI CDC recommended it they never said that we are required ohio gover has not put a mask mandate on shame on you guys I will never go into any of your stores ever again.
My wife and I absolutely loved this store! Plenty of every favorite Disney character and plenty of discounts. Staff is super friendly, as well! Have your I.D ready if you’re purchasing with a card & your signature on the back is faded! They also have bags that you purchase to use. I see none of those as a drawback! Highly recommend!
Great store! I love how seriously Disney is trying to do their part in slowing the spread of COVID. We took a drive so we could come buy some cute Disney masks. They sell them as individual masks for $6 (they didn’t have the 4/$20 deal that WDW & Downtown Disney have, but still great masks for a great price!). I know they were out a couple days ago so call before you go if that’s what you are wanting to snag. The prices were very reasonable for most of the stuff I saw. I will definitely be back for birthday/Christmas shopping & before our next trip to the parks.
I absolutely love the Disney Store! I could spend hours at this place looking at stuff. They always have some sort of deals going on with shirts, mugs and stuff character toys. Things you definitely cant find anywhere else. There is even more online. The staff are always helpful and cheerful!
They said everyone over two had to wear a mask, so we put on handkerchiefs, but then we were told those werent good enough, so only one of us could go in (with a face Shield, which would seemingly offer less coverage than a kerchief, but that was okay?). While in the store, an employee was taking a personal call on their cellphone with their mask down the whole time. Hypocrites. Also, toddlers shouldnt have to wear masks, not to mention the classism going on here. What if someone cant afford a clean mask everyday?
Customer service was great! Had exactly what we were looking for. Only complaint is we bought a woody doll from toy story the week prior and it ess $22.95. Give us a coupon for 25% off for the next week and tell us to come back. We went back the next week to get buzz light year action figure and it was marked up to $29.95 then the 25% off so we really didnt get a deal (same price week before with no coupon) but that is just retail marketing anywhere. Great customer service and wide array of toys, clothing and other disney accessories for little ones!
Stopped at the door to be notified that the new policy there requires face coverings for a two year old little girl. Also that neck gators are no longer acceptable face coverings despite cloth mask being okay. Would have changed the gator but the attitude towards a little girl with sensory problems made it clear this was not going to be a place that my child was comfortable in. Will not be returning to this location.
Only people with approved face coverings IE no gaiters are allowed in. We immediately got out of line and left when we saw that. Asking people to wear a mask is one thing but to require a certain kind is absolute BS. Whats next? Requiring certain shoes or clothes? Shame on your store and shame on your company. Most probably just because your company doesnt make money on gaiters.
I love the Disney Store. I buy from Disney Store Kenwood, Disney Store Premium Outlets, and Shop Disney. Disney Store at Monroe has great prices but may not have some of the items you can get from Kenwood and Shop Disney. The cast members are always helpful and polite. I saw one comment of a person who said one of the cast members was racist because they asked for an ID. That is simply not true. They always ask me for one and I am very glad they do. I dont want anyone steeling my credit card and using it because a cast member didnt ask for a ID.
Shame on you Disney! I just made a purchase and was told that Disney has gone green, so no more plastic bags to put my purchase in it.. However, I could purchased one of their re-usable bags for $1.50! While I understand you wanting to conserve the environment, dont force me to purchase your bag so I can re-use it and advertise for you every where I take it. Offer me a paper bag, they can be recycled. I will have to reconsider where I purchase products from, as I dont want to walk around the mall carrying my purchase in my arms!!
Was pretty upset about my visit here. I went to the checkout with my debit card and they wouldnt let me use it because I forgot my ID. Ive never been asked to show ID for this card that Ive had for many years. I knew the pin but they wouldnt let me run it as debit, I was fine running it as credit but why do they need to see my ID? VISA doesnt require it, I called their customer service to confirm that. He told me to go to the ATM for cash to make my purchase. Also before checking out I asked this same employee if any of the Mickey stuffed animals were on the $16 sale and he said no mickey or Minnie stuffed animals are included in the sale which was incorrect because as I was walking out I saw them on a different rack for $16. Im never coming back here again.
I love Disney so get a quick fix by going in to cheer me up with the castmembers. Most of the merchandise here is for children, not alot for adults. For that, youll have to get the shop disney app or go to website, they have ordered for me in past for delivery to my home. They seem to get quite a bit of Disneyland items here. You can also buy park tickets here.I do wish that I had a better chance of getting the Mickey Mouse monthly items for his 90th birthday, so many Disney fans around though so no luck yet.

2022-06-06My wife has been searching for a Disney store and it appears that Disney is closing many of them. We were excited to find this location but unfortunately it let us down a bit. This is an outlet store and they didn’t have the best selection. We were surprised at the amount of Christmas merchandise they still had. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience but I don’t think we will make a special trip here again.

2022-05-17I bought my daughter a baby yoda (grogu) cup and it broke 10 minutes after her first use. The string part broke off from the cup, leaving a whole. $20 wasted

2021-10-13Went there on 10/12/21 and was told to leave because we didnt have masks on. We had went to get my autistic son something for his birthday since he is a big Mickey fan. My fiance and I wouldnt have cared to put masks on but we were told children 2 and under didnt have to wear them. Well my son with ASD is 3 and there is no way you are going to put a mask on the boy as he has sensory issues.Nothing worse than watching your non verbal childs eyes light up when seeing the store and as soon as you push him in the doorway you are told to leave. What nobody saw was the melt down that was triggered. You crushed my son by denying him something that brings him happiness when not much else does. I hope whoever the employee was reads this because you should be ashamed of yourself. You should be a little more accommodating for people that have no control over their situation...

2021-06-25First off I can read more than five stars I definitely would! The staff and the atmosphere were amazing! My son, my fiancé and I love coming here. All the staff deserves a big round of applause for the help that they provide, but I just wanna give a big shout out to Jeremy for assisting us today and for giving us that big Disney welcoming!
