The Pharmacy Staff is OUTSTANDING! Especially the sweet blond lady that takes your new prescriptions! Shes very knowledgeable and caring! She even has a sense of humor- imagine that- at a pharmacy !!!! The last pharmacy (close to my home) is at a very popular Food Chain! They made SO MANY MISTAKES - THAT COST ME TIME AND MONEY!!!! They were very flippant on the phone and acted like they were doing the customer A FAVOR BY FILLING YOUR ORDER!!! True they have a very nice grocery store, deli, and bakery but my experiences at their pharmacy did it for me!!! I remember Wilma Smith and it occurred to me that this is her store of choice! I even sing the jingle now! I don’t miss the food at the “big store” ....... I buy my dry goods and staples at Walmart (they deliver for free). BUT, MY NEW FOOD STORE HAS ALSO BECOME DISCOUNT DRUG MART!!!! THEIR DELI IS FANTASTIC, FRESH AND FRIENDLY......WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE? SO......LONG STORY SHORT, THANK YOU!!!!!!! I love that Discount Drug Mart has practical items and dont just fill the store with random junk like some big box retailers do. The prices are great and I think they have the best selection of greeting cards around. Im so excited theyre opening a new store in Concord soon!
I started using discount drug mart when I dropped off a prescription at CVS and it was going to take 45 minutes. I then went to discount drug mart to get ice cream for my wife because it was cheaper at discount drug mart. My slow brain realized they have a pharmacy too, it is bright when the light comes on. The next time I dropped one of 10 minutes. That is not always the case, but I plan trips around picking up other things (green bananas, my going joke or over ripe bananas, which I think they should say banana bread bananas, but milk and other items.) they carry a little of everything.
Must be under different management than it was when it got good reviews. The manager was very rude and unprofessional! I have given a LOT of money to these people by way of business in the past. They will not get one red cent from me in the future. If you care about being taken care of courteously by those to whom you give your business, this is not the place you should go. When the owner fires the excuse for a manager he has in there now, he can respond, and his ratings may go up.
Good place to find the things you need. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The pharmacist is very knowledgeable. Parking and traffic are terrible.

2021-07-16Jen and Kathy on the evening shift are always so pleasant and efficient. They are lovely to talk to and I enjoy shopping here while theyre working; both definitely go above and beyond their job description. Good selection of items available, they never seem to be out of anything. Hours are convenient too. Never had a problem here and will continue shopping here well into the future.

2021-06-15Tried for over 6 months to get my script in stock and couldnt. Went today for a covid shot with my husbands service dog and they barred his service dog from going in to assist him during the stressful shot. Finding another drug mart to go to and never going back to this one. Im pretty sure its also illegal to ban a service dog from going to assist, and after the door says they welcome service animals. The service dog tried so hard to follow and help and was alerting and still they said no. We brought him this time instead of just me due to problems with the first dose too.

2019-05-26The Pharmacy employees and the all the Pharmacist are the best. They are always friendly and go above and beyond. I go there often and have never had a bad experience. The Deli always has fresh products and the grocery area has everything the bigger stores have. A true ONE STOP SHOP.

2020-09-12I have never felt more unwelcome at any store in my entire life. I got checked out by Kathy and She seemed like a miserable women, she acted as if I bothered her by getting in line. She ignored me when I asked for another bag I thought she didn’t hear me because of the masks so I spoke up and she rolled her eyes. If you hate your job so much that you make people feel like an inconvenience then please get a different job. Clearly customer service isn’t for you, I probably won’t shop here again.

2020-09-28I am a cashier at the Mentor store. I would like to comment how efficient the stock clerks are when we need their assistance. From price checking to inventory questions to helping a customer with a carry-out, they consistently come to our requests for assistance with speed and courtesy. Their teamwork creates a positive customer service experience.

2020-05-16This store never fails. Very clean, friendly atmosphere, good deli and pharmacy, Friendly staff. However, the parking lot is chaos, people drive like complete lunatics and the lot itself is very outdated. Also there always seems to be sketchy people loitering around the store. But ultimately, this is a good place to go and would highly recommend.

2017-12-24This drugstore is one of my favorite places to shop. Prices are extremely competitive! They seem to have a little bit of everything. I guess thats what one stop shopping is. We love their fresh salads and bakery products. I dont know who bakes them, but they taste homemade. People who work there are kind and considerate. Oh, and the fresh deli sandwiches are one reason we stop by often. Try it, youll like it! 🌹🌼🌷
