Dr. Jian has a wonderful manner with patients and the hygienists always do a good job. At this point my whole family goes here after I have been going for years.
Me and my partner both agree that this has been the best dentist we have had ever! They make you feel welcome and take good care of you and make you feel comfortable during your visit! I highly recommend them!
The staff there are very friendly and informative. The manager has such a genuine sweet personality and explains things thoroughly. Dr Jian is so comforting, I have anxiety and she is so amazing with the way she takes care of me through the whole process. She talks to me through the procedure and puts me at ease. She makes me feel safe, secure and comfortable.
The staff at the Polaris Dental works always performs exceptionally. Ive been using them for years and I love the friendly and professional touch they provide.
DO NOT COME HERE.I had a crown fall off and I was told I could come in same day to have it fixed.They only did a consultation. Their oral surgeon is based out of Pennsylvania and is only in Columbus 1 day a month.They wont return your phone calls when they say theyre going to, theyll change your appointment time, pretend it was always the new time, make a fuss when you say you cant make that time, tell you to get there as close to the new time as possible, then make you wait *past* your original appointment time before finally seeing you.Theyll tell you theyre getting an estimate for the work you want done then wont call you for several weeks. When you call back theyll tell you they were just going to call you! What a coincidence! But they wont have your estimate. They say theyll call you back the next day but you wont hear from them for another week when you call them back and they finally have the estimate for you.They wont call you with pre-surgery instructions, youll have to call them and hope they answer or return your call, and sometimes the instructions wont even be accurate!Ive been there 4 times in the last 4-5 months and Ive had issues like this every. Single. Visit.They seem super nice and accommodating at first but it will fall apart fast. DO NOT USE THEM.
Im not generally thrilled about dental visits, sometimes I panic. The staff and dentist at Dental Works make the time relaxing and comfortable.I make more routine visits because of my comfort level with them
Hi,I had an appointment at Dental works at polaris today at 10:15 am. I had waited till 11:45 and told the receptionist it is frustrating to wait this long.There was this gentleman who raised his voice to not to take it up with the receptionist. And he threw a chair at me.The receptionist advised me to stay in the car else I will be notified to the authorities. I obliged and came out. This is not fair because I have a brown skin and not too have any emotions. I do have the picture of the person. I am a citizen too and in my oath I said I will fight for this country in any circumstances.There is a lot of people there as a witness and everyone was consoling me to be safe against that guy. The office people also supported him. Instead of throw him out, they threw me out. I did finally met the doctor and conveyed what happened, he advised to be safe.I feel now how others felt. Not sure how to feel.
Amazing staff and 10/10 patient care!!! I would recommend anyone visit this location. Dr. Jian cares about her patients more than any dentist I’ve been to before. Also convenient to have an orthodontist, oral surgeon, and general dentist working out of the same building a couple times a month! You definitely get the bang for your buck here.
Retired to Columbus OH in 2019 and was delayed in finding a new dentist because of Covid. After reviewing many dental providers, I settled on DentalWorks in Polaris. After my first visit, I feel as if Ive hit a home run. Dr. Jian is very friendly and made me comfortable as did the rest of her staff. I walked out knowing exactly what my treatment plan was and how much it would cost. A very enjoyable group to work with!
Thank you to everyone at the office! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to a new smile, very patient in dealing with insurance issues. Great atmosphere and a very comfortable setting, which makes a normally not-so-pleasant visit (dental work isn’t fun!) much more tolerable.
My experience at dental works is always good. Ashley is my hygienist every time and she is thorough and gentle. Dr. Jan is amazing I love her she always does a great job and lets me know if something needs fixed or further looked at she isnt just worried about getting your money.
I love Dr. Jian, but the billing process is a headache. It took me nearly a month to get the correct balance due for my ortho bill. Once I finally got a hold of someone they advised me of the correct amount and I paid it in full. For some reason I still receive a bill each month with a balance owed. I have no idea how to get this resolved.
Do not recommend this orthodontist AT ALL. Very unprofessional, and unorganized. They scheduled my appointment to get braces off on a day they were closed and I showed up to a empty building.
I really like my hygienist and the dentist, Dr. Jan. They are friendly and professional. They make recommendations without being pushy. They are not judgmental. My teeth are always cleaned well. The front desk staff is also friendly and very courteous.
The front desk, dental assistant, hygenist, and doctor all made me feel very comfortable! I had nothing negative come out of my experience at dentalworks! they addressed concerns I had and were able to schedule me promptly to take care of my treatment
My experience at Debtal Works Polaris was great as usual. Todays visit was especially great. The technician who did my X-rays was very gentle as she understood I have a lot of bone in my bottom gums. She was also very pleasant and kind. The hygienist was amazing as well! Not only did she do a great job cleaning my teeth but she educated me on brushing techniques that will help me to maintain optimal dental health. Though I saw a different dentist than usual he was also great! Kind and caring. Lastly but certainly not least the reception staff was amazing. The young lady at the front desk went over my treatment plan options and showed me how to maximize my benefits!! In a world where many are no longer kind or caring its refreshing to know that Dental Works Polaris is going beyond the status quo by not only providing great care but maintaining a wonderful staff of caring individuals!!!!!
My first visit to this place was a great experience. My hygienist, Ashley, was very informative each step of the way. She was super thorough in her cleaning, I felt confident that my teeth were in good hands. Also, Dr Jian was excellent! Thank you, I am so glad I changed dentists 😁
Revised 07/2020Still 5 Star experience and just rating again - thank you Ashley & Doc for taking such good care of my daughter and I. I feel good as new!!They always treat my daughter and I so well. She has been so adamant about remembering to floss her teeth. I dont know what you guys told her, but keep up the good work!!!
Dr. Jian and her staff are amazing. I am always so nervous going to the dentist but the staff at DentalWorks are always gentle and help put me at ease. Ive had plenty of work done and have always been pleased with the outcome. My entire family are patients here and the experience is always positive, even our children come here and dont need to see a pediatric dentist because they feel comfortable here. Loretta in the front office is always pleasant and helpful whenever I need assistance with insurance or for changing appointments. All the ladies that assist in the rooms are super friendly and I cant say enough wonderful things about Ly. She is the best. If you need a dentist, this is the place to go.
They will not return my calls even after many voicemails! They keep sending me a past due payment notification but has not even submitted the payment to my insurance yet. They now say it is 90 days past due. They obviously do not know what a past due medical bill can do to your credit report. I tried reaching the corporate office, but they just route me back to Polaris which ignore my calls. I loved Jan, but unfortunately , I will not be back. Customer Service is Everything!
My dental check up went very well today. The entire staff at the Sears Polaris location are the best. They took care of me from the time I came in to the time I left. I appreciate the great service the dentist and all the employees provide. Everyone there are so friendly and helpful. I continue to recommend Dental Works to friends, family and co-workers. Dr. Jian and her staff are absolutely amazing! She has great attention to detail and helped me feel beautiful at a time in my life when I really needed it! She makes me feel like family while Im there and really cares about how Im feeling and the detail in her work. I would absolutely recommend her to all of my friends and family and have referred many friends to her! My son is 16 months and I cant wait for him to meet her and the staff for the first time!
I was very impressed with my first experience @ DentalWorks Polaris. The office has a clean contemporary look and feel, and their staff is amazing! I really appreciated the attention to detail and they even provided me with a pillow for added comfort during the whitening service. The Zoom Whitening Service was painless and the results surpassed my expectations. Overall excellent service and they gave me a $50 Zoom rebate and gift bag. Thank you Dental Works Polaris!
I was supposed to have a cap after my root canal but I kept having pain. I was promptly referred back to the endodontics. I was placed on antibioticsThough the tooth was not saved the plan was thoroughly explained to me.
The staff and doctors are wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to get all your dental needs met.

We get our dental treatments at DentalWorks in the Polaris location and they are outstanding. The technician are very professional providing dental treatments and there is a Doctor on site.DentalWorks are great on providing service on time. I have neglected my teeth for years because of fear going to the dentist until I couldnt ignore the pain any longer. I went to Dental Works Polaris to get out of the horrible pain I was in. Pleasant staff worked with my 2 year old for her first visit! They were great! All of them! I got my teeth cleaned too and x-rays. Looking forward to going back in 6 months
The doctor is Dr. Jian she is very nice as and gentle. She does whatever she can to help you make the best option if you are in any pain and gives great service!

I wasnt too happy with my experience. My previous dentist emailed my X-rays 2 weeks prior and they located them but could not open them due to they didnt know how to. Then the assistant was very rough on pushing the X-rays into my mouth. The doctor was nice but not listening to why I was there. I was there to get a specific tooth pulled or have a root canal completed. All in all not a great experience and time wasted. The office manager (tall guy with facial hair) was very short with the staff and it showed his frustration with them. Not something a nervous first time patient wants to observe.
Great place to visit the staff very friendly since I call to made an appointment the day before I dont have an emergency call almost the end of the thay Heather C answer very friendly and give an appointment for next day. While cane to the dental office everyone was very nice I was assistass by Melissa before see the dentist the timing and all the information they provide me was amazing. My first time in the office but definitely I will made them my regular dentist for me and my family they are awesome great job!
Dr. Jain is amazing!!!! I enjoy going to the dentist. This visit was off to the same experience until the end. Trying to schedule a follow up to filling cavities was not a good. I am in a tight deadlube because of surgery. I even called two days earlier to schedule an appointment to fill a lose cavity. Which i was told it was not in my chart and i would have to wait. So i did, assuming it would be no problem. I was even told could do that night. Ha! I was lied to. This visit was the very first time i walked away furious and not wanting to go back.
The customer service at Dental Works Polaris was so good. I was very nervous about the bridge I was about get. Doctor Jian was so good at helping me feel relaxed and calm. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. Thank you.
Even though the staff seemed nice and the office was clean and sterile, the business is in shambles. NOTHING about this office (outside of its aesthetics) is professional. My very first appointment here was scheduled at 1 pm for a teeth cleaning. I show up, they do all the preliminary functions and tell me I need a deep cleaning BUT, theyve run out of time and I need to schedule my cleaning for a different time. Luckily this time, we were able to schedule my actual cleaning on the same day. I was told someone would be in touch for my follow up visits and my wisdom teeth consultation and I heard NOTHING. I had to call back WEEKS later AFTER I received a bill of service AFTER i had already paid the day of my appointment. I called to know what the bill was for, the person on the line told me they would have to contact my insurance and call me back. A week and a half passes with no callback, or email. So again, I reach out inquiring about a bill and my follow up appointments. I make sure to tell the person who answered that I have had no contact since my first visit. We schedule my wisdom teeth consultation and follow up teeth cleaning on July 12at 7:30 and July 15th at 12:30, respectively. A few days before the 12th I get a text saying my appointment now at 6:10pm. I double check my information and confirm that my appointment is at 7:30. I check the website and the office doesnt even open until 9am. So I missed that appointment, but it was no big deal, I can reschedule. I go in today for my teeth cleaning at 12:30 and Im told my appointment is at 6:10pm. WHO SCHEDULES A TEETH CLEANING AT SIX IN THE EVENING?!?! I left. Iafter taking multiple days off from work to get my teeth cleaned, I am literally no closer to my goal, but I am out 16 hours of PTO time. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES.
Too many x-rays really uncomfortable also. Went in for a cleaning and ended up just staring at a bunch of pictures of my teeth. The dentist didnt really listen to what I was saying. At the end the handed me a print out of thing I needed done and said have a good day. No next visit nothing i got nothing accomplished while there there is just too many people doing to many things they werent even busy but said they had no time to clean my teeth never seen anything like this place wont be going back 👎👎👎
An assembly line feel as the Dr. treats several patients at a time spending minimal time with each. The biggest issue is the billing process. You pay your balance after each visit, but then they mail you bills over and over again. So I’ve called and they apologies only to send me another bill. And this cycle goes on several times, after each visit.
Dr Jian is so sweet, gentle, and caring. She makes the process so much easier for me. I have anxiety about going to the dentist and she has really helped to ease it. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the place.

I had a great experience with the dentist but trying to pay is awful!I got a bill. Went to the payment website listed on the bill. Put in my info. It says it cant find my account and gives a phone # to call. When I call, it refers me to my local office. I called a handful of times, left a message, and no response. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO CHASE YOU TO PAY A BILL. I will not be trying anymore.EDIT: Just tried calling the Patient Quality Assurance phone # you suggest to others in response to their reviews - and you have to leave a message there, too. Where is everyone??
Truely a great practice. Teeth cleaning staff are excellent. The doctor/dentist makes carefull decisions on whether a cavity fill is warranted or whether she waits and rechecks on the next 6 month visit
Ashley very friendly, very professional.Felt very comfortable with her cleaning my teeth. Not always a fund experience. Having someone scrap insiside your mouth with a sharp objet.
Dr. Jian is a very good doctor. She treats prople very nicely. Her skills are extremely good. She corrected all the mistakes that my previous dentist did. The staff there also very polite.
Dental works is great! They are gentle and get you in and out. My 4 year old was very nervous and they never pushed her and tried their best to make her comfortable. Id recommend Dental Works to everyone!
I found my new dental office...definitely made it a comfortable experience...and worked with my schedule. Usually Im a big baby, but the staff was very kind and warm...I felt at ease. Thanks so much!
After getting appointment which was 2+ weeks out, went here for regular dental cleaning for 11:30 appointment, was told to plan ~90 mins for cleaning. They took me in at 11:45 and took a bunch of X-Rays for almost 30 mins, did gum health check for another 15 mins. After making me wait some more for the doctor, Dr Jian spent about 5 mins to go thru all of this and come up with a treatment plan, not caring to explain anything, dumping all jargons on me and not caring to ask reason of my visit. Next thing I know, I have an estimate of 870$ just for deep-cleaning and an overall treatment plan of $2432 including large out-of-pocket costs which my insurance wouldnt cover! I asked if they can just do a normal cleaning as thats what I came here for - they said they cannot do it and theyd do only deep-cleaning per xrays and this cost is normal for a deep-cleaning! By this time it was almost 1 pm and I had to return to work, this being a Monday. I asked for next availability and they are completely booked till 5 weeks!Not only the provider didnt care or listen to what I was saying; few weeks go by and they sent me a bill of $219.00 for DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
I was disappointed. No care bag. And $10 to pay for your PPE is not fair. The customer gets nothing.Your reasoning for this makes no sense. I don’t think it’s right to charge people. It would be different if you supplied the customer with a PPE care bag.The dental hygienist was great! I would give her a 5.

My wife had 3 wisdom tooth removed last Saturday 08/29 and was sent home with no after care instructions. She has severe swelling and is worried that she might have a dry socket.She says they just pulled and said 👋...all she got was 3 prescription slips.She drank out of straw after the extraction which based on a interest is a big NO-NO.Left them a text but no response yet.
Always friendly and easy location for me! They provide enough flexibility to meet my crazy schedule. Seems like I have seen some of the same people for years, which I love. You get to see faces you know and puts you at ease.

From the moment i called to schedule my appointment to the end of my appointment i was treated with a very friendly and courteous staff. I called on a Tuesday and had an appointmeng by Thursday of the same week! I felt the price was readonable and i was given clear diagnosis and instructions for future appointments. Will continue going to DentalWorks 😄😄
To be clear, Dr.Jian is a great dentist. However, this place is horrible with their billing. I had 2 visits for fillings, the bills took months to sort out. Their billing department is MIA sometimes. My voicemails are left unanswered and all they do is send the same wrong bills over and over again, I’ve gotten at least 10. The most recent I got a bill that was different from what I was told in the office, called and it they turns out the bill was wrong yet again. They told me to check with my insurance portal and figure out exactly how much I owe, but if I go to a dentist, I expect them to be able to provide me an accurate bill. My friend experienced similar issues and was told to ignore the bills, but they eventually sent her information to debt collectors and she got bombarded with calls from debt collectors and it even impacted her credit score! While I really liked Dr.Jian, the billing has been a nightmare and not looking to come back.
Their work is good but i didnt like is their aggressive selling of new dental treatment. Sometimes give wrong price estimation about a dental treatment. After you have completed the treatment , and after few days you will receive a big amount from them , regarding the treatment. I felt all of their dental treatment suggestion to get money out of you and as soon as possible ( in fact on the same day of appointment). They could behave in a better way rather than being money minded. When you visit, iff possible to say no for same day dental treatment , for which you have not prepared for. like new tooth extraction, new filling or new bacteria treatment etc etc.
AMAZING !!!1.) Great friendly staff. I had an issue with insurance and Carol spent 20 minutes helping me get the glitch resolved. Never once did I feel any judgement or get those evil stares. The assistants a friendly and funny, and really make you feel like you are among friends.2.) The doc is the best. While she tells me every time she sees me that she doesnt see me often enough, she knows her stuff, and is amazing at what she does. Never once have i had any issues with any work she has done.3.) Great location. Being right at Polaris mall, you have a ton of things to do before and after your visit. As well as parking is never an issue, umlike some of the smaller practices.
Great staff and dentists, friendly, efficient, and they wont rush you out the door, but instead, will take their time, and make sure your teeth are well taken care of. Highly recommend.

The new facility looks great. The two hygienists and the dentist who helped me were kind and helpful. Thankfully the staff there have always been helpful ever since I started going there.

I love all the ladies and the gentlemen there. I for one is petrified of needles, and unless im dying I hate going to any kind of doctor/ dentist. This dentist office is professional, clean and put up with all my complaing and hollering, and understands me never passes my concerns off as nothing! There amazing!!!
Appointment scheduled for over a month get there and my permanent crown wasnt there. I understand cov-19 has backed things up but if the crown wasnt there by Friday end of business I should have been notifie .

I got a deep cleaning done this time. The only thing I hated was that they only scheduled me for half a side of my teeth.. I have to go back and get the other half done tomorrow. That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of. It is a waste of my time to have to plan two visits to get my teeth cleaned. I have NEVER ever had this happen. Not very happy about this.
I have always had a very good experience at DentalWorks Polaris. I have had my teeth cleaned very efficiently and a crown done and I am very very happy with their services.
I wouldnt suggest anyone go to either one of the dental works locations. I got a deep cleaning done the Polaris location and there is still some tar on my teeth. Im not sure how you can miss up a cleaning but they managed to do so. Plus both locations are just not even trustworthy they seem like scam artists dentist that just want to tell you everything under the sun is wrong to pocket your money. I would suggest going to north Columbus dental group or their affiliate locations. Seriously just stay away from dental works. If I could give a zero trust me i would because I wasted my money on a BS cleaning.

I left feeling more knowledgeable about the health of my own teeth than I ever have before leaving the dentist’s office. I will definitely make this my permanent office for future visits.

They were prompt and courteous in their initial visit with me. My only complaint is that the dentist has a pretty thick Chinese accent and is difficult to understand.

Today (2/26/19)I had probably the worst expirence I’ve ever had with a dentist/ doctor in my life I was argued with about weather I had a crown on my tooth number 9 , I was yelled at “WELL THE X-RAY DOESNT LIE” and then she ran out of the room in anger , I was supremely confident that I didn’t have a crown there and only had one on tooth number 23 so I then went to my old dentist that previously was the first dentist to touch those teeth and put fillings on 9 , I had him do an X-ray directly after I left dental works and he confirmed it was the same filling he had in fact put on me 6years ago meaning Dr. Jian was in fact wrong so I’m switching back to my previous dentist (Dental Group at Polaris) I highly recommend them they are very personable

They told me the day before to come at 3:30 If I could, although my appt. was at 4pm. So I got there a little before 3:30 and ended up waiting to be called back at 4:30pm.

2022-06-03Ive been going here for almost 6 years. Dr Jian and her staff are always very nice and professional. I have problematic teeth and have been dreading going to the dentist for all my life but they make me feel very comfortable there. 2022-04-21I cant say enough good things about this doctor. After having so many bad dental experiences this has been a legitimate breath of fresh air. She seems to really care about your comfort and will go out of her way to make sure you are. Never once has she felt rushed, or uncaring. The assistants are just as amazing, I genuinely cant think of a bad thing to say at this point, i appreciate every single one of thier staff.

2022-03-15Im sorry to hear that several have had terrible experiences with DentalWorks Polaris.Ive always been fortunate to have amazing dentists. I started seeing Dr. Jian in 2012 when I moved to Columbus, OH. I was hesitant to visit the practice because at the time, it was located in SEARS mall.The hygienists Ive had through the years are thorough and reassuring. They answer all questions and whatever theyre unsure of, theyll get an answer for you.Dr. Jian is very thorough-- the amount of care she took preparing my temporary crown before I got the actual crown was outstanding. Shes highly reassuring and makes patient comfort a priority.The only thing that was done differently at my most recent visit-- she examined my teeth before the cleaning was done. She typically does so after.While I love the new location, the open bay arrangement bothers me. You can hear whats happening in the next room. So, e.g., you can hear what someone with oral issues is being told about the condition of their gums, etc. Perhaps theres a way to speak less loudly since having doors is not an option.I highly recommend the practice. Hopefully, those whove had bad experiences, their concerns were addressed and rectified. Theres never an excuse for bad customer service.

2022-03-29What a horrible experience, doctor wants to address most expensive options on teeth that aren’t in pain, and ignore broken tooth I came in for in the first place. On third visit she accuses me of having a bad memory because I didn’t agree with her backward treatment plan, which fixes my broken tooth with an exposed nerve last. After 3 weeks of pain killers I’ve decided to find another office that will fix the problem and not just line their pockets. Greedy quacks here in my opinion, avoid this place like the plague!

2022-03-30Dr Jian is a great dentist with advanced training and her staff are also very friendly. My kids and I have been going to her for years ever since I moved to Columbus. Also, my hygienist, Ashley, is really good and does a great job on my cleanings. Dr Jian’s office is also conveniently located near my home and work. She will definitely take care of all your dental needs for you and your family.

2022-03-03Horrible experience as I may be experiencing covert racism. I’ll call the facility and they never pick up, I leave multiple voicemails and never get a call back. Lost my Invisalign retainer which is urgent (and they know) and never gave a call back. Had someone go to the actually building for me and all of a sudden, they claimed I was next on the call list and that they’ll contact the orthodontist and give me a call back soon — that was 3 weeks ago. Till this day they still haven’t called me back or given an update. Unacceptable.If you’re African American, don’t go to this facility as they won’t treat you right.
