I had been going to a family dentist for several years, but had to change my dental insurance. Dental Works was on the list to accept my plan and I was very anxious about going to a new, unknown dental office. From the moment I entered the office I felt reassured that I was in the right place. The people were very friendly and my teeth were cleaned and checked to my satisfaction. Dr. Jordan and Tammy were the best!
Nothing but praise for this practice. I had somewhat of an emergency and staff scheduled me immediately even though I am not a regular client. Everyone with whom I came in contact was pleasant, professional, and treated me with respect. I would highly recommend this practice.
The office staff are nice. The hygienist was a bit scary and condescending at times but my experience was years ago. Long story short, every time I went in there was one or two teeth that needed a filling. Two of the teeth I got filled were in the front. They did a nice job filling them but there are serious stains behind the fillings now that cannot be removed without a new filling. No thanks. The worst issue I had was regarding a sore back molar. Dr Bouali told me I needed a crown. The crown treatment was very expensive. He then explained that the molar on the opposite side also needed a crown (yet I had no pain or any sign of decay). I let him talk me into it. I got both crowns. I continued to have pain months later in the original tooth I had an issue with. The doctor insisted that it was impossible because they had performed a root canal. He blamed it on my roots being close to the sinus cavity and that it was a different tooth that must be bothering me. I dealt with the mild pain through his discussion that I needed more fillings in other teeth. That was the last time I went to that office. I started seeing a different dentist. Amazingly, I haven’t had the need to get a cavity filled since I stopped using dental works. Amazing.Fast forward a couple years, my mild tooth pain and constant sinus infections turned into excruciating pain on the entire left side of my face. My new dentist referred me to an endodontist. The endodontist ended up retreating my tooth. He explained why regular dental practitioner should not be performing root canals and showed me that there was one nerve left that the doctor had missed which became infected. The specialized tools and experience they use allow them to see it which most dentists do not have. I could have died from it. He also noted that Dr Bouali missed the same nerve on the other side and added that he is not sure why that tooth would have needed a root canal and crown in the first place.I have had no issues since the retreating of my crown but now the other side is starting to bother me. That is why I decided to leave a review. I do not want anyone else to make the mistake I did. Do NOT let anyone do a root canal on you unless they are an endodontist that specializes in things like that. I didn’t know better.Basically, I am convinced from my experience that this practice is in the practice of making as much money as possible by diagnosing any tiny thing they can to squeeze money out of their customers. It is disappointing that they would treat their customers this way. I did have a choice but I trusted in the professionals and spent a lot of money unnecessarily in doing so.I don’t need a reply. I was an actual patient there. I have no interest in calling you damage control office. I will never be back.
If I could give this practice 0 stars, I would. The hygienist and administrative staff are kind, but the dentist is terrible. He has absolutely no concept of what he is doing, and after switching to another dentist, I discovered that 3 of my fillings had to be redone, and a tooth that I previously had a filling in needed a root canal. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. After complaining about tooth pain, the dentist held me down and began to shave down my tooth claiming that my issue was bite-related when it was internal tooth pain. I had to physically push him off of me. It is NOT worth it. Go somewhere else. He is clueless about what to do.
I had quite a bit of work done over the last 2 months here. Ive had nothing but great experiences with the staff and service. I had an initial consultation and the manager was able to go over all my options with me before preceding. Was able to apply for a payment plan that worked for me and had quite a bit of teeth worked on. Everyone I have encountered there have treated me very well always making me feel comfortable and happy with the work. Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff. Explained all procedures ahead of time so you knew what to expect. Dr Raj took the time to sit down and explain treatment options including pros and cons. Developed a specified treatment plan outlining each procedure and associated cost including what insurance will cover and what you are responsible for so as to avoid future surprises. Comfortable setting.
I really like going there. They take their time and do a complete job on my teeth. When the cleaning is completed they give me an assessment on the condition of my teeth. They give me options on what should be done and their recommendations on what they feel should be done to keep my mouth as healthy as I can. They answer any questions I have and do not pressure me one way or the other. They also try to work with me financially so that I am able to do what I can within my budget.
The staff is very friendly and nice to work with. The low rating is it feels as if they are always trying to do more than needed to see how much money they can make.I was told I needed to have a dozen teeth pulled and partials made for $10000.I went for a second opinion outside of dentalworks and received a very different story. Still need some work but nowhere near the extent of their estimate.
Very bad experience with respect to billing as well as the service. Prior to the service being provided there were lengthy discussions around procedures and the price. The price was agreed upon and paid in 2 portions, one before the procedure and one right after. Several months after the procedure suddenly I get additional claim for $2000 , with no coherent breakdown or explanation provided. Calling the office proved unhelpful. I am extremely disappointed in having to spend so much time and energy on these unnecessary issues. DentalWorks - Never again.
If this review stops at least one person from going here, then it will have been worth it.This dentist office is filled with very pleasant front-office staff who are very helpful and competent. So if you need a good place to go do insurance paperwork or general office related tasks, then DentalWorks is the place for you! But when it comes to actual dental work, this place is a nightmare. I cant describe for you the unpleasant experience I had without getting angry. Suffice it to say that the dentist put a gap in my front teeth when his drill slipped during a procedure. His drill slipped because he was rushing to get to another patient that was waiting in the room next to me. He lied straight to my face and said that the gap will close as my teeth magically adjust. Well, its months later and the gap is still there. This place is a tooth graveyard. A chop-shop. If you dont care AT ALL about your teeth and just need a cheap filling, then this is your place. Otherwise, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. My new dentist was actually angry when he looked at the work the DentalWorks dentist did on my teeth. It wasnt just bad. It borderlines malpractice.I havent reached out to these people to remedy the situation because my experience was so negative, that I never want to set foot in that dirty frightening place ever again. And whatever remedy they might come up with, would probably involve having one of their dentists attempt to fix my teeth. Well not only is a gap in your front teeth very difficult to fix, I would have to be the dumbest person alive to ever let them touch my teeth again.Whatever these other reviews are saying about this place, I have to believe are paid for by the company or not relevant to the actual dentistry going on in this place.Stay away from DentalWorks. Its like a waking nightmare with real-world consequences for your teeth. Go to a real dentist. Seriously.
Loved the dentist and staff, did good quality work. The only problem I had was my mouth was pretty messed up so I had to use care credit. On multiple visits we sat down and made a schedule of what work Id have done when and all the pricing so we could charge the card all at once and get me zero percent financing. Well I havent been there in two months, been paying my bill to care credit and now I have received three different bills from 300, which I paid, a 1300 and 729, which are not. How is this ethical or legal to charge me almost 2,500 extra when he wrote the estimates, not a thing changed so its not like I needed extra work done. Im not a wealthy guy and this place is literally screwing up my life with these hidden charges. It would be different if this was all upfront so I could plan or budget but nope. Thanks Dentalworks!
Do not ever go this place. They are bunch of unprofessional who do not know what to do, advise you to do unnecessary dental works to charge you more.one of my front tooth was chipped off tiny little amount which was not even visible but bothered me,the doctor made my tooth visibly shorter than the other one and told me this way it will never chip again! Then they told me that you should do the deep cleaning and use antibiotics which would had cost me a lot, because it was not covered by insurance. I accepted the deep cleaning and the unprofessional doctor did a lot of high dose injection into my mouth that it was numb for 5 to 6 hours and I could not even talk or eat! then the hygienist did the deep cleaning and chipped my same tooth again! it was a disaster .I went again to fix it, apparently previous doctor did not work there any more so another doctor repair it but he could not fix it, I had to go to another dental facility to fix my healthy teeth that only was chipped off a little bit and now was clearly shorter than my other teeth and I could not even smile.I had to pay a lot of money in a short time.It is the worst dental place ever.do not waste your time, money and specially your teeth!
I broke a tooth, so I booked an appointment for Monday to get it fixed immediately. I previously had treatment at the Dental Works in Bainbridge, and had X-rays. This was in August. When I came in, they knew what the tooth needed and that I had retainers to work around from my orthodontia work. I booked the spot for 4:30 thinking that left enough time to get my tooth fixed and get to my 7:30 class with no issue. Boy was I wrong. The front desk had no knowledge of what my dental insurance covered (I had to ask 3 times if a basic cleaning was included), and they took X-rays again! My X-rays were barely 2 months old. The dentist came in and said it had to be a root canal, then before he left, I asked about my retainers. He didnt seem to care.I was left in the chair until around 5:45 , the person giving me the bill came around. I had ZERO treatment at this point. When I asked about a cleaning and had other questions for the dentist, she left and didnt come back until 6 pm. Ive been there for nearly 90 minutes with no treatment. I left not getting my tooth fixed, but was assured that I do need a root canal and that it would have to be next week. Why wasnt I told that on the phone?!Now I have a hole in my tooth and have to wait another week.Really?!?!
I love seeing Tammy the hygienist and have been seeing her since I was a kid. I have my whole family go to see her. Tammy is always friendly and genuinely cares for her clients. I typically don’t have to wait long when I go in and am in and out quickly. I love how fast the service is.
Best dentist experience I have ever had!Ive known Dr Yacoub for several years. His knowledge and professionalism are unmatched by anyone else I have ever seen. He is extremely personable and patient.I had one implant done and two crowns installed. The whole process was painless and progressed without any foreseen issues. I was a bit concerned about the procedures, but Dr Yacoub was patient took the time to explain each step of the process. He made sure i was comfortable the whole time. Dr Yacoub and his staff was very accommodating with my hectic travel schedule.I simple love Dr Yacoub and the quality of work he performs.

2021-10-13I was pleasantly surprised, the office staff was very professional and kind, very neat office, and impeccably clean everywhere I looked. Tammy the hygienist was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Jordan is down to earth and one of the gentlest dentists I ever encountered. He makes you feel comfortable and assures you are feeling no pain and does the job right. All the support staff was stellar and very courteous and friendly as well. Thanks Dental Works.10/12/21 Another plus experience, I had two front crowns over 36 years old with one showing metal at the gum line. Dr. Jordon suggested new crowns with modern materials. I was never really happy with the originals, they looked like bunny teeth. Dr. Jordon assured satisfaction and resized and ordered them to to be made. It was a 3 week wait and I was a bit skeptical, people were telling me I should have gone to a cosmetic dentist. Today my new crowns were put on and wow, they look like my real teeth plus normal size and perfect color match. Thanks again Dental Works Team!

2021-09-01I was so happy with the service that my son received on Sept 1, 2021. The staff was courteous and energetic. Our appointment was so great…from the time we entered to the time we left. My son felt so comfortable and had no complaints (he’s a 16 boy…so that’s wonderful!). I really recommend this dental practice.
