Had a big order of $60 and upon arrival they told me that 2 of my items they couldnt make because they ran out of the meat. ( I would have expected a phone call....but Nope!) So I asked if they could make me the 2 items up real fast with a different meat. I was told it would be a pretty long wait because they have other orders to fill.......What about the 45 minutes I waited for the order that you didnt completely fill? So now we were stuck stopping off somewhere else to get my kid something else to eat while we ate what she really wanted. To top the whole experience off, almost broke a tooth on a big piece of bone in my burrito.
I’m not sure about these great reviews... but I ate there tonight. This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. It was blah. There was no sour cream on my burritos, 3 pieces of tomato and very little lettuce. It was overloaded in retried beans though. 4 times the amount of meat! I will never eat there again or recommend to anyone!
My boyfriend and I have been eagerly waiting to try this place due to being avid lovers of Mexican food. We placed a large order to sample the menu from trying various salsas, chorizo burrito, Birria tacos, tripe taco, leguna taco, flautas and lastly caldo de res. First the staff when he went to pick up order were less than friendly. One can empathize with the current climate in the service industry however a smile or hello goes a long way especially if you have an off nice on delivering on flavor. The Burrito and Birria saved this order. Chips needed salt yet the salsas stood well on their own. The Caldo De res was lack luster and needed more than fresh onion, cilantro and lime wedges to save it. It had too much fat versus meat actually in it.
So i really like this place. The food is REALLY good. I do not recommend ordering them through door dash. Either they dont actually have cheesecake, they keep forgetting it, or the dasher is stealing it? I dont know but Ive ordered cheesecake 3 times and have never received it. Door dash only offers half credit and while I would love to finally try this elusive cheesecake I dont think i will try ever again until I can go to the restaurant. I keep losing money on this:( also for some reason the Gordita has a vegan option but it doesnt let you order without choosing a meat and even if you write in the instructions that you dont want the meat you still get the meat. Which is fine if you were just curious but bad if youre an actual vegan. Anyway I do really like their food i just wish I could try this cheesecake.
I ordered 2 dozen tamales from them, they were the BEST I have had since my grandmother that passed away in 94. I also drove almost an hour to get them and it was well worth my drive!!! I had to share with my mom because they were too good to keep to myself and she turned around and bought another 2 dozen they were so good!! Thank you for the awesome food!! We will definitely be back for more tamales and to try other dishes!! Thank you!!
Great tasting traditional Mexican food, with protein options you just can’t get at every Taqueria, such as beef tongue or tripe. Both delicious in the tacos I might add. Save room for desert because this place is also a bakery! Delicious flan and lots of imported Mexican candies. Try the horchata, very yummy, I took a cup to go and dumped some rum in with it to make an excellent finish to a great meal.
Ordered on DoorDash and picked it up myself and it was so good! I got a taco, Gordita, and rice while my boyfriend got a quesadilla, all tasted homemade. I dont understand why people say its pricey because its not. Not even to mention their Tres Leche cake, so delicious! Will be back!
I tried the Quesatacos they are pretty BOMB 😍very filling to!These are the best tacos I have tasted !(especially in the area). The customer service was great we got greeted by the owner and she made sure we were doing well. if you are looking for a quick ,cheap bite you need to go there ASAP!!!
Ordered food on Door Dash and I only received half my order and while I did receive a refund I feel that someone should have contacted me letting me know before I waited over a half hour for a single taco and still had to go get other food. The taco I did get was soggy and the carnitas was dry. I also ordered rice and beans. The rice was delicious but the beans were terrible. I had random charred pieces and it was all in all a terrible experience.
We were so thankful that De Los Angeles provided us soldiers lunch while working at the food bank. The tacos were delicious, and nothing was leftover! The soldiers loved it and we are so thankful for their support. Will definitely stop by in-person once the COVID-19 situation changes. Thank you!
Didnt care for the food, service, or the price. Wont be going back. None of my 3 adult children that were with me liked it, probably couldnt bribe them to go back. Ordered salsa and chips, salsa was just really hot sauce and chips were stale and just out of a bag, nothing Authentic about either of those items. All the food that we got was very spicy.
Running business errands, I had seen the sign for this place as I was exiting the freeway. As I am always down for a real taco shop and the constant disappointment that comes along with my search, I was trying not to get overly excited.Well, I was not disappointed in the least. Very unassuming from outside, I walked in to a place that very much reminded me of a SoCal taco shop. An pie case with handmade assortments of pies and cakes to the right, a mixture of put together booths and tables to the right and running down the center. There was a counter to the back with shelving stuffed with items for sale as well as office supplies for the business all mashed in together. This is a great sign! It means this is a family type run restaurant and now, I am getting excited. I am thinking homemade food, here we come!.The server brings out this menu that is a half of sheet of paper with copied photos and print, but the food looked wonderful. It looked real, not stock or photoshopped. The menu had tacos, rolled tacos (Flautas), quesadilla and a torta. We place our order for a total of 6 tacos (2 Carnitas and 4 Asada) and sodas. The sodas quickly arrived with chips and a salsa that had some smokiness to it. Very good, actually. Our server had also dropped off the 2 taco sauces (red and green) for our upcoming tacos.I heard the spatulas in the back hitting the grill and the sizzle of the meat. One of the best sounds in the business as it the siren of freshness and it was now calling to my inner taco spirit. The 10 minutes it had taken, was a walk in the park as I was thinking 15 or more, went by with a flash and all.of a sudden, we had our tacos in front of us. First glance, larded corn torts, check. Meat, onion and cilantro only, check. Smell, AWESOME!!!!Let me tell you, it was taco heaven. It was flavorful, real, hand cut, onions were crisp, the Cilantro was not wilty nor discolored. The red sauce was a smoky flavor, the green was tangy as they both should be. I had asked for something spicier (just pass along the hottest you have that is not out of a bottle).... BOOM! A beautiful Arbol oil combination that was pretty intense (I LOVE spicy hot), wow! That is the hottest I have ever recieved in Ohio, PA, Upper NY and MI. I could stand hotter but, it was extraordinary.I had walked to the bathroom which is down a hallway in the far back. The kitchen door was open and it was quite clean. I could see the prep area with onions, tomatoes, chilies, and cilantro were being chopped. Very exciting! The bathroom was well.appointed and very clean. The server did not bother us but kept dropping off refills as we needed. That is service. We loved our food, service and that sauce! It is now on our very short list of go to taco shops (only 6 on there in 7 years).Kudos to the cook, server and the owner.Well done and Muchas Gracias!
My taste buds just did a backflip! Stopped on a whim and grabbed 3 tacos to go, (1 de lengua, 1 al pastor, and 1 barbacoa). Put a little of the homemade red hot sauce, squeezed a lime wedge on each, and was in food heaven. All 3 had tons of flavor, tender meat, and fresh ingredients. This is a must go to restaurant if your main objective is to eat amazing, authentic, high quality Mexican cuisine.
My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The place itself is nothing special with the multiple customers playing Instagram reels on full blast while we ate. It was a hot day so the store itself was hot.We had a variety of tacos. My wife always plays it safe and got the beef, chicken, and chorizo. I got the lengua, tripa, carnitas, and al pastor with cilantro, lime, and onion. All of them were good. The flautas we not bad. The chips and salsa were excellent. We took some freshly made churros to go and they were fantastic.Service was a little slow but I think they do a lot of take out business that may slow them down. We’ll be back. Probably do take out and eat at a park or the lake next time. I really want to try the pozole and birria tacos next time.
My Review is based on my order for Doordash from Tamales. The tamales are wonderful. They are the best tamales I have ever tasted. Thanks for Doordash and De Los Ángeles Taquería I can order tamales and Mexican food. My Review is based in a order from Doordash. I ordered Tamales The tamales were the most wonderful tamales I tasted in my life. Thank you De Los Ángeles Taquería & Doordash to add the Taqueria & bakery. Will be ordering frequently.
A small but very rich menu, excellent not over the top, with many dishes. Very smart people in this business. Little but consistent. The taste of the food very tasty. The prices very much. Better than the two restaurants I visited. In this area the two restaurants are extremely expensive. A thousand kisses this one. Place

2022-03-06Main entrees were AMAZING! We order it to go and I was missing my onions and cilantro for my birra taco but it still tasted absolutely delicious! My husband got the tamales and said they were even better than my tacos. Next time will definitely pass on the salsa and queso. The salsa tasted great but was extremely hot. Definitely our new favorite Mexican spot.

2022-07-16First time here and best I’ve had. Flavorful every bite. Portions were good size. Honestly even though I’ve never had any other similar places to compare, I doubt it would be as good as this place as I’m very confident this place is a hidden gem.

2022-03-10This place is by far the most delicous, authentic and well put together restaurant I have been to in the past 5 years living in Ohio. I have the most authentic Mexican food while living in Southern California, so this was a special treat! I highly recommend this establishment if you are in the mood for GOOD Mexican food!! It is too hard to pick just one thing, it all was delicous!!

2021-03-12The only good things we tried were the burritos and the rice. We ordered tacos birria and they had no taste at all, they didnt even had cheese!!!. We also ordered a large horchata and they had it in a fridge where they took it out and put a straw in it and gave it to us, it felt like it was watery (like it had ice and it melted) also the cinnamon was on the bottom of the drink. For dessert we ordered a Tres Leches and it was not what I expected, it had strawberries (which usually it doesnt) and it didnt have the taste of tres leches. Thats about it, I hope they can better their food for the customers.

2019-06-01Delicioso. The salsa was a nicy slightly spicy start to a good lunch. I ordered a tamale, chicken tostada, and a barbacoa taco. The tamale had a nice texture and was very flavorful. The chicken tostada was amazing. So much flavor. The barbacoa taco though wasnt good. Meat was dry and tasteless. The atmosphere is very cute and laid back almost like you were just invited into someones home. The service was good and the waitress was working hard for sure. Really nice experience. Cant wait to go back.
