Worst experience ever! After driving out of town to come here then waiting 2 hours I finally see the doctor and she comes in screaming at me about a mask now keep in mind 5 out of prolly 20 people had a mask on the nurse who walked me to my room didnt even have a mask on but this woman comes in screaming at me before I could say one word then goes to scream at her staff about it so I told her I would like to come back another time when shes not acting like this and she started screaming again so i walked out this completely blew my mind and would not recommend this place to anyone

I have been a patient here for 15 years. Ive had several surgeries done by Dr. Reddy. Staff is wonderful. No problem with Dr. Reddy or staff except with the woman that heads the billing department. (MRS.REDDY) She is rude, mean, cant understand people run into problems sometimes that interferes in paying more money on your account. I have never missed a copay. This is extra cost they charge that your insurance will not pay. Insurance should protect us from the doctors that go back on their word to insurance co to accept their payment for service then charge the patient what insurance does not cover.

Ive been going to Dayton Pain Center for over 4 years & recently had my income of SSD taken from me due to what I had said in my counseling sessions. Down to my buying a new washer & having to step up on a stool to get clothes out of washer. So Unfair! I THOUGHT what I said while in counseling was supposed to be CONFIDENTIAL!! I asked for transcripts & was ignored!! The only evidence SSD had on me was what I had said in counseling! While Im making a review may as well mention the receptionist who takes 30 to 45 min to give you your prescription & next apt card. Any other Dr. Office your checked out immediately. Guess being Ive lost my Medicare I wont be a patient there very long! Your forced to see a counselor but dont dare tell the truth about whats going on in your life if you receive disability. Ive hired an attorney & if I can beat this case I will then Im suing for negect of hippa laws

I have been going to Dr Lita Mathai since 2013, and she is my favorite Dr. She is very caring of her patients, and takes her time with each one to really understand their chronic pain issues. I would highly recommend this office, especially Dr Lita Mathai, she is a wonderful person! The wait sometimes is a bit longer than I would like, but its only because the Drs take their time with their patients.

Today, the US Supreme Court unanimously (9-0) holds that doctors authorized to prescribe controlled substances can only be convicted for violating the Controlled Substances Act when they intend or know that they are prescribing in an unauthorized manner. The Court specifically rejects the view that doctors are criminally liable if their prescribing is not in accord with current medical standards. The difference is important, and especially so for doctors treating patients in pain, who might otherwise be deterred from meeting the needs of their patients by the fear that disagreement with their medical judgment would subject them to serious criminal liability.National Pain Advocacy Center filed an amicus curiae brief in the case arguing about the chilling effect on prescribing of the current state of the law. We are thrilled that the Court fully adopted the standards and reasoning we argued for.More detail:Justice Breyer, writing for the Court, specifically singles out the chilling effect of overdeterrence and the importance of distinguishing morally blameworthy from socially necessary and beneficial conduct (i.e., the conduct that an authorized prescriber engages in - prescribing medication for her patients).Justice Breyer writes, “a strong scienter [or mens rea] requirement helps to diminish the risk of “overdeterrence,” i.e. punishing acceptable and beneficial conduct that lies close to, but on the permissible side of, the criminal line.”The opinion also addresses the “vague, highly general language of the regulation defining the bounds of appropriate prescribing,” and the importance that providers not be convicted criminally for what is essentially negligence:In rejecting the standard offered by the Government, Justice Breyer writes, “the Government’s standard would turn a defendant’s criminal liability on the mental state of a hypothetical “reasonable” doctor, not on the mental state of the defendant himself or herself.”It is also important thing to note is the concurring opinion by Justice Alito, in which Justice Thomas joins and Justice Barrett concurs in part, agrees fully with the Breyer opinion that the appropriate standard is the subjective state of mind of the prescriber. The government had argued for an objective state of mind standard which we considered to be an oxymoron, and which no Justice agrees with.#supremecourt #medical #prescribing #pain #controlledsubstances #doctors

I have been going here for over three years now. The only reason I put up with the over 3 hour wait is because I like the one doctor I found out of the whole practice. This place is horrible. Forget about calling in to make an appointment or for any other reason. I will try for days before I finally get someone to pick up the phone. This place has way more patients than they can handle. They over book themselves and do not have the staff to cover what needs to be done. I have a BA in health care administration and am a certified medical biller and coder, have worked in healthcare for over 10 years and have never seen anything like it. The patents all sit in a large filled waiting room complaining about the wait. Often you will be whiteness to arguments between staff and patents regarding the wait. I strongly suggest they stop taking new patients, double booking the doctors get more staff and a multi phone system with staff to handle it. Calling days in a row and no one picking up is crazy. I have tried 8 times just today.Update: I have noticed an Improvement the past couple months. Its almost like they read my review. It seems they put in a different phone system because now when you call they answer. Also the wait has decreased. Its an average doctor wait most days. The said thing is the doctor I had and loved left 😭. Mist if the staff is friendly now, maybe because they are less stressed. Good improvements, keep it up! Because of these changes I am changing my a rating from one star to three.New updateI have been trying to get someone to pick up the phone for 2 weeks to make an appointment. The line is busy, just rings or it is picked up put on hold or hung up on. How are we supposed to follow the rules if we cant make an appointment??? Going back to one star.

I made an appointment with ALL medical records!I seen Dr Reddy 1st 2 visits. Both times prescribed medication I am allergic to……I was scheduled to have a biopsy done to see WHATS WRONG WITH ME… but had all my records. They couldn’t do the procedure so said I refused…. Why was I there then. My goodness. Then they were supposed to do injections in my knee. Never did.Seen a nurse practitioner 2 times. She messed up my records said ma medication wasn’t in my urine. But someone else’s was!! What?Seen another Dr. He thought I needed to be counseled with my condition … what?He said oh my. The injections didn’t work I see.No. Cause I didn’t receive any. WOWWent today was there three hours again! Long wait times. Long wait …To see a counselor & Dr Reddys nutty self. He was training a nurse and was trying to use me as an example.I have RSD and CRPS. Had over 21 years. He tried to Tell her I’m an addict. Hell no. 🤣You might want to go further for any type of pain mgt unless u just want to be drugged. They don’t prescribe enough medication to get though two weeks let alone a month. I take 220 Tylenol a month on top of their medication. 🤦‍♀️Try self medication. They don’t help!!!!

Had a referral sent to this place been calling for over a month. No one ever answered the phone or replied to any of my messages. How are you running a business but do nothing to get and keep clients. I reported them to BBB

Absolutely horrible. My physician referred this place. To start with, it took me several days of calling to even get someone to answer the phone. My physician network even called me to see if we made an appt. I informed them that no one answers the phone nor has called back since I left a message. Finally I got a hold of them and made appt. Pain center doctor saw me and had me order MRI. MRI facility called night before to cancel because the pain center doc did not send clinicals. They did not know if my insurance would cover the procedure or not. I went through with the appointment but had to sign a waiver that if insurance did not cover, I would have to pay for it. Had appointment to see pain center doc a couple days later to go over MRI. Waited 40 minutes only to find out that the doc was in surgery and they had no idea when he would be done. They said I could wait or reschedule. Well, since I have to take off work each time I didnt want to reschedule. Then they informed me that they dont have the MRI and the doc has no notes for them to look over. After waiting in an exam room for 20 more minutes we walked out. I called my physicians office and explained. They were not surprised stating that they hear this kind of report about this center all the time. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go.
