My treatment plan consisted of 3 lumbar epidural injections. I went for 2 injections and my pain was increasing. My third injection was cancelled due to a prior authorization issue. When I went in for my appointment I informed them about my increased pain and trip to ER. I even mentioned that I couldnt hardly walk on my right leg several times! It appeared to me that they didnt believe me about my increased pain! I expressed my concern that the injections werent working!I tried to call several times for appointment before I went to ER and was told by the rude receptionist that we dont do early appointments and i would have to wait until my scheduled visit.& if I was in pain I needed to go to ER!I was also told i would receive a referral for a spine surgeon that I never received! I found my own spine surgeon and it turns out that I need S1 joint fusion surgery! Rediculous!!!!
This group of doctors only care about money and not the patients pain!! Not only do they have ALL testing at their location its not for patients convenients its to make ALL the money. If U need more than 3 doses a day they wont give it to U even tho U may have a terminal illness requiring more pain relief.
The nurse senior have nasty attitudes theyre very sharp and nasty with your answers I imagine its because theyre overworked however thats no excuse Its supposed to be a professional setting not the people you should lash out your anger at thats all I have to say about that
This doctor dropped me as a patient because he did not like the review that I posted. Little do they know, they did me the biggest favor ever. I have a new pain management doctor. His office is clean and not outdated, and he offers sedation. In its very seldom that you wait past your appointment time. The sedation makes the injection process so much better. Absolutely no pain during injections. Finally, I have A doctor who sincerely cares about his patients!
This is the worst doctor office I have ever been to. They start scheduling people at 8:30 but the NP comes in after 9. They demand you to have shots and injections with no care on the availability of vacation time or PTO. When using insurance you figure that this said office would understand that it takes time to pay off other injections and procedures that a patient has had. They also recently demanded that you pay 70$ a month for balance owed. I walked out after sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours and I will NOT be back.
Dr. Gupta is not a caring provider, went in for pain following a parotidectomy with post op nerve and lymph issues. He said it needed desensitized so he rubbed it for 10 minutes which left me with excruciating pain for over a week following, I instructed him that it was painful and he said it’s supposed to be. Then he asked me what the purpose of me coming in was for? All while his phone rang non stop and he took calls about a event that evening. I had prescriptions for medications which would cost over $900.00 a month and I emailed the office to explain that I can’t afford it and never received a response. I cancelled my follow up appointment and will continue with Tylenol going forward. Plus the office was gross and out dated.
This is the most incompetent, rude and least helpful doctors office I have ever seen. My girlfriend goes here for pain management. She has been getting a series of injections and they refuse to give her facet injections which have worked well in the past. Instead of doing both sides at once, which prior doctors have, they do one side at a time and insist on doing medial branch blocks to determine where the problem is... It is an injury she has had and has had treated for a decade and has literally thousands of pages of medical records confirming what and where the problem is.So a process that previously has been taken care of in two visits (one for neck and one for back), now stretches into 8 visits to the surgery center. Clearly, they are just trying to bilk the insurance company for everything they can get. The delay in pain relief has her taking more narcotics than she wants. Previously, she would take half a pill once in a great while after doing something physical. However, since the steroid injections end up delayed for months to go through their whole process, she is in extreme pain and takes them more often.Furthermore, when you show up, you are treated like a sub-human by the receptionist. I have sat there and listened to her chastise patients for showing up too early and call out people with outstanding bills in front of the whole waiting room, loud enough for everyone to hear. Then they bring her back for the injections, they do not wait for the anesthesia to fully go into effect. They rush through it. After her injections, while still under the influence of anesthesia, they make her walk alone back to the waiting area. Someday, someone still wobbly from the anesthetic is going to fall and I hope they sue these scumbags out of business. After this course of treatment, we will be looking for somewhere else that doesnt treat people like animals.
I love ❤️ this place 😀Everyone is very nice and careing. I’ve been coming almost a year now and the doctors and nurses are awesome 😀they actually care about you not like some places just get u in and out and don’t care about making people happy but I gotta give these girls from the upstairs secatarys and nurse to the downstairs secatary and nurse and Doctors of course. And they make me feel a lot better every injection. I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all you Woodman women and doctors u r the best😀💙🌈🍀
I am using a different name for privacy reasons.I worked for this place once upon a time. I have reviewed all the patient comments and I will agree, this is the most horrible place to work, and for patient care. They do not clean their treatment rooms, or the building (maybe once a week if that). Dr Gupta doesnt want to pay the cleaning crew, If a patient comes in with Lice or Bud Bugs, they spray the room quickly, then shut the door for 2 hours. Unbelievable dirty filthy place ... I wouldnt take my animal there if it were the place on earth.I physically seen something on the floor in the same spot for 4 days, which means, the floors had not been cleaned. The employee lounge is pig pin. I am sure they have bugs. They dont clean the rooms after patients leave the room with STD either. They charge everyone who smokes a smoking cessation fee, even if they arent counseled to quit smoking. They are definitely ripping off the insurance companies. God only knows what else they are charging the patients for, that they arent receiving (this is called fraudulent billing which is a federal offense). If a patient calls questioning the charge, they simply remove it as a courtesy.LOL --- They never even received the service, so how is that a courtesy??Ridiculous place. I believe most of the people who work there are very rude especially in the Pain Management area. BEWARE OF THIS FILTHY DIRTY PLACE ... You might end up with Bud Bugs, Lice, or some kind of disease.
I have never had a problem with anyone in the office. All the doctors and staff are very personable and listen to you and try and give you the best care possible. (I’ve seen Dr Gupta and Dr Mehta now I see one of the nurse practitioners) With some disorders it’s not an issue were there’s a fix it all pill or procedure. You may have to try different meds or procedure before they find the right one to help you. They’ve always done right by me. But you have to do what they ask of you. Wether it’s your meds or procedures. You will get drug tested and may get called into have your meds counted to be sure you are taking them as prescribed and not selling them or taking to many.
Awful place. They accursed me of a dirty urine..They blandly lied. Liars..all they do is mis use the system then accuse you of wrong doing when i know i did nothing. Then when i asked to re-do my urine they lied again. This was after the FBI came on the premises. Dr. Meta needs to be dismissed. And the nurse practitioners are unprofessional and rude to you. Thanks for falsely accusing me so that i can move on to a better place to get help. Please continue to report places like this. To your insurance companys, and maybe we can close them down.
Went there again today Im seeing the doctor there for pain management they gave me an epidural shot today I dont have any pain in my legs now well see how long it lasts Im going in for x-rays Thursday and my neck and shoulders I will let you know how it goes I think these people are going to do me some good
The receptionist was sarcastic. My first interaction was with Amber? I think, its not as though she smiled and introduced herself. I let her know I needed blood work for my job, and never being there before and unsure if I was in the correct place I asked am I at the right place? she answered I dont know. Obviously her attempt at some belittling response. She was not very helpful but I suppose when youre too concerned with hiding your phone in your desk drawer and trying to discreetly text, your concern isnt customer service. Not only that, but there were 3 people in the waiting room and one person had been waiting an hour. Given the poor attitude from the receptionist, I decided to leave after 30 min. One person had asked her how long it would be and she said its out of my hands once I check you in then she went back to texting. Pathetic.
WARNING: Do not have an MRI here and then go next door for xrays. You will be charged for an URGENT CARE VISIT when you have the xrays no matter what they tell you at the front desk. I talked with the office staff and no one cares that they mislead you. They will lie to cover up that they gave you false information. Very irritating when you try to be an informed consumer and ask questions ahead of time. By the time you get the bill, its too late.
Anyplace raided by the FBI and DEA (10/18/2018) is probably not a good place to go...or maybe it was the go to place and that is why they are being raided as I write this. At any rate, I attempted to transfer my pain management to their satellite office located in Greenville for convenience and my PCP had to call 3 times for them to even send me the new patient intake forms. Ironically, I chose to go to Southwest Ohio Ortho and the Dr. I saw there had recently been fired from D.O.C.. When I asked her about why she was terminated from D.O.C., she blamed the management and told me if these are the questions I was going to ask, she is not the right doctor for me. :D :D :D Ummmmm hello lady, I had a very bad experience with a selective nerve root block shot in my neck that sent me into seizures and I tried to kill the hospital staff apparently, So yeah...if you are gonna stick a needle in my neck again I am darn sure going to ask everything and anything about your medical profile I wish to ask.
Having procedures done here is like being cattle in line for the slaughter. You are put in a gown where you sit in a room with 7 or more other gowned patients with no privacy. After your procedure you are expected to walk yourself out even though youre still under the influence of anesthesia. They do a lot of unnecessary procedures to bill insurance before every treating the actual problem
My mom 77 years old takes FOUR Percocet tablets 325/5 a day. She’s been on them for years. Dr Mehta let her know unless she took shots in her back they would not write her prescriptions. She’s not interested in shots in her back for fibromyalgia and severe leg pain. He dismissed her concerns. His statement was “ he’s not gonna lose his license for writing her narcotics ! 🙄 they’re in it to milk your insurance and nothing more. Dr. (And I use that term loosely) Mehta should find another profession. He’s not listening to patients. He’s there for the $$$. Shut the place down! People are already suffering and should not be treated this way!
Thats funny how their representative commented on my review and said that what I posted was inaccurate.. NO IT ABSOLUTELY IS NOT.. That place is horrible, Period.. And, I dont recommend that ANYONE go there fir LEGITIMATE chronic pain management (if you require narcotics) bcuz I promise you, they dont care about the patient at all.. And have absolutely no problem what so ever pulling all of your meds FOR NO REASON.. So. Ms/Mr Representative, Idgaf what my chart says and who falsified info in it, I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED
This office does not care about their patients if you do find a doctor you start to trust they will end up ruining it. I have never been talked to by a doctor like I was today by a doctor I thought I had finally got comfortable with and was starting to trust. I have been going there over 4 years since covid hit they will cancel ur appointments to tele appointment but then not call you for a week then act like you’re the problem. I tried talking but couldn’t get a word in over the yelling and was told if I don’t like it see someone else she don’t care. I’m a working mom of 4 children and today I was scolded like a child for their error. So now the stress I have for another upcoming surgery on my shoulder I also have to look for a new doctor that can at least talk to me appropriately and respectfully as doctors should conduct themselves. It’s a shame and I am beside myself still can’t believe I was treated this way totally uncalled for.

2022-08-22I had quite the experience here, I was in the patient room, getting the basic medical information filled out when I had a Major Pain episode start. It was so bad they insisted on me getting ambulance ride to the ER. The staff was well trained on taking care of a patient in a dire situation! I tip my hat off to them they were all just wonderful caring and compassionate. But I did notice the place needs a maintenance makeover, fix things in the restroom, clean return air duct vents, replace carpet, etc . . . Being a facility maintenance expert I naturally noticed these things.

2022-04-13Every time I’m there, I’m waiting at least an hour to be seen even if I’m the first patient of the day. My appointment this month was rescheduled and turned into a televisit, which I didn’t mind. They were quick to get my card number to pay the copay, as usual. This time I waited over FOUR HOURS for Grace to call!! If I were 4 hours late, they wouldn’t talk to me. I get that she may be pregnant (there’s a rumor saying this), but that’s no excuse to be so late every single appointment. Please do better with your time management. Stop double/triple booking and, please, only see those that you can in a timely manner. If you’re going to be late or behind, communicate that. Also, I waited 4-4.5 hours for an 11 minute phone call. If you want the extra day off before a holiday weekend, plan that in advance. Call in refills if that’s your only intent of the “appointment “, don’t make your patients wait 4-4.5 HOURS for a 9 minute phone call where 6 minutes if that was looking for the drug screen from the last visit. Please be prepared in advance for your visits. I’m not going to waste Grace’s time, I wish she wouldn’t waste mine.I personally know some of her other patients and I am not the only one that experiences this. Every single one of the people that I said that I know that I also have Grace as a provider experience the same exact thing. Unacceptable! On a different note, Grace’s MA (Sandy) is phenomenal!!

2022-03-25I was directed here for a spine MRI, easy enough scheduling and quick service when I arrived. Had my MRI, and left. Took my CD of MRI to each of my referring Orthopedic Surgeon, Pain Specialist, and Neurosurgeon and each commented on how poor quality it was. Because of that my Neurosurgeon ordered another MRI before I went in for emergency surgery. Turns out one of Thoracic joints was badly compromised, which resulted in a fusion. Obviously I would have needed a fusion even with a good MRI, but it would have explained my nerve pain and more likely I would had surgery two plus months earlier. My insurance company no longer list DOC as a preferred MRI service. (Service was May of 2021)

2021-09-28My son and I were sick so we went to this urgent care. The service was faster than I had expected and I liked the doctors bedside manner. I recommend this urgent care, if you cannot get an appointment with you family doctor and need to be seen for an acute illness.

2021-03-24I was seem there today for the first time. I had a very good experience. I felt respected and cared for. I was nervous and honestly a little afraid before I arrived but once I started talking to my nurse I relaxed. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone in pain.
