Had a great time! The ballpark was clean, had staff constantly picking up. The bathrooms were clean. Food and drinks arent too badly priced, wish they were a little cheaper. They make it so fun for everyone and keep the kids entertained! We go to a few games a year, will eventually be trying to get season tickets so we can go to more!
I had 2 rain-outs on the 16B ticket plan and purchased parking. Got a call from the Dragons today and was told even though the games were rained out I have to eat the cost of parking, they cannot even refund their profit from the parking tickets. Very bad customer service.
I 💚 The Dayton Dragons! We are season ticket holders for 6 years now and have no intention of stopping. Our package includes 17 games but they offer discounts for other games sometimes so we go to about 20 per year. We never get tired of it! We love seeing the up and coming talent and the Green Team keeps it entertaining between innings. Madison is just as much a staple as Heater, Gem, Roofman, and Wink. Steve is our usher and we think of him as a friend now, always smiling and welcoming, he recognizes us and chats with us every game. Ive always loved baseball but the Dragons make it even better! Even if you are just visiting, be sure to catch a game, it will not disappoint. The stadium is beautiful and clean with great food and not a bad seat in the house. GO DRAGONS!
So this was my first trip to a minor league baseball stadium. As you would expect, the seating is notably closer than at MLB parks, which was nice. The stadium was clean and well maintained. Concessions and restrooms seemed ample in number, although the pricing was anything but minor league (comparably overpriced with MLB parks). Team play against the Timber Rattlers seemed appropriate for Class A ball. Not many of these young men will ever see the big leagues! And Im not sure about the seat pricing since I was blessed with free tickets!
Great ballpark and amenities in walking distance of anything you could want or need. Interacting with the players and the chance to snag a ball are great perks of this level of sports. Not easily able to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities, and the speakers are way too loud. Other than that, its a wonderful family venue!
The Dragons hosted our company outing in the Dragons Lair. Our group had a blast! The layout of the Lair made it easy to socialize and move around while still enjoying the game. The Dragons staff did an excellent job of making sure we had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better night. Well be doing this again.
My son took two of his children to the game last night. They had an unused ticket which they planned to have as a seat buffer. My son mentioned to the usher they had it in case he needed to scan it. The usher took their ticket and gave it to another person standing there. They were seated all night by a smelly, rude male using their ticket. Since when do your employees get to decide who uses our tickets?
How can you NOT like a Ballgame ? Back after the pandemic in 2021, the Dragons are one of the best evening out bargains in Dayton! With $5 parking and reasonable concession prices, if you have never been to a Dragons game, you need to go! Dipn Dots, Beer, Cracker Jacks and Peanuts available too.Dont strike out, get tickets for a game this summer !
We attended our last game and wont be renewing our season tickets. It has turned into a form of socialism by not accepting cash and not giving you a choice on how to pay for your purchases. Play Ball used to be an interesting pamphlet to read, but that has gone digital. Too many changes have been made and not beneficial for the attendees.
Food stands are run by different volunteer groups. Stand 11 is almost always ( past 5 or 6 years) run by a team from Stebbins high school band students and parents. They earn money for their school to pay for band fees and trips. The Dragons team takes good care of them and the Stebbins folks really do a great job keeping the food quality high. Fresh and hot food. Loaded to the brim nachos. And ice cold beer or soft drinks. If youre at the stadium, hit up stand 11. The largest stand along the right field side.
Great local minor league baseball stadium. Very clean. Game is always fun with lots of food options. Staff is friendly and helps with any needs. Great place to take kids. Look online for any special event nights for kids. Does cater more to kids than adults. Parking can be difficult around the stadium. Come early for parking or bring extra cash.
Opening day certainly was different with diminished attendance. The normal activities marking the beginning of the season were definitely missed. One of the things I missed the most was the Play Ball. It is offered digitally but was hard to find the bios on the players after wading through other information. I think it is a shame that a Dayton printing company has lost the business of printing this magazine. The Dragons should support other struggling businesses as they ask for our support.
This is a great venue for local Dayton baseball. We always have a great time at Dragons games...even when they lose. Parking is less than a five minute walk - some vendors charge $5 but you can easily find free spots on the streets. Concessions can be pricey, but that is to be expected I guess. Best evening seats are on the third base side and you wont have to stare at the sun going down. Always a family atmosphere and and love taking the kids.
Enjoyable experience, great place to take family and watch the game. State of the art Park. have been to multiple games, always fun. great place to have an outing for co-workers as well. Has a great deck for privacy. If you are in town while a game is going on, you should def. check it out, great prices on tickets as well.
I was very pleased with my trip 5/3 field. Good environment, nice seating, good food. Parking was very convenient, I got a parking spot right in front of the ball park for $5. They even have souvenir cups for $5! If youre in the area and looking for something thats cheap and fun for the whole family, bring them to a dragons game.
It was 3 of us and we had 2 extra tickets, so asked 2 guys who was coming to the game if they could use them. They said yes and was very excited that we was 8 rows behind home plate. It was a great game even though they lost. The guys thanked us for giving them the opportunity to be so close and enjoy the game.
I enjoy going to see the Dayton Dragons. Fair warning - Im not a huge baseball fan. So I come at it like this: whats fun? I feel like the minor leagues try harder to make it more fun and engaging for the whole family. It seems like there is something going on every inning. I also like the stadium - its laid out well and its not so huge that it takes 20 minutes to get to your seat.
One of the best baseball experiences Ive ever had. When the game started we were behind, but with two innings left we got ahead and in such an exciting way. Bases Loaded and a home run to give us victory. The vibe here is one of the best, it will remind you why baseball is one of Americas greatest pastimes.
Attending a Dragons game is a wonderful family experience. The employees are friendly, welcoming, and helpful plus there are fun activities between innings to keep things interesting. Im talking about big wheel races around the diamond, frisbee catching dogs, acrobatic tumblers, hamburger flipping contests, and the list goes on. Concessions are yummy, theres never a problem with traffic, and you can always find free parking no more than two or three blocks from the field.I cant say enough about the Dragons experience, its a Dayton Gem! Now, go to a game!!
Every seat is a great seat. The only bad seats would be the lawn since it does not have chairs but even then you can get a lawn chair from there that will give you back support.Good food at a decent price. One of the best deals is the chicken tenders and fries. Found on the third base line last stand towards the out field. Another good place is dragon fire located near the lawn area on the first base side. Green color cart. They have amazing burgers. They are bigger then the ones you get at the stands plus you get all the fixings included
The baseball stadium was one of the sparks that ignited the revitalization of downtown Dayton. Great place for summer family outing regardless if you like baseball or not. Top notch sports facility. Venue has lots of events outside of the baseball spectrum. Affordable ticket prices. Just a great place, a gem in the city of Dayton.
Street parking free if you can find it.. plenty of 4.00 parking in lots handicap accessible if asked for when buying tickets. Restrooms are handicap accessible. But getting to them are almost impossible. Almost got my brains knocked out by a baseball if my husband had not grabbed me towards him
Wow, we picked a great game to see! Dayton played the Captains and they will 2-1 Dragons style! The first pitcher we seen was throwing the ball upwards of 98mph! If he gets an of speed pitch down then well see him in the bigs in no time! Once again, thank you so much City of Dayton! Thanks for bringing in a team that is usually a winner and allowing us to see some great talents, which includes a few players on the Reds roster now! Dayton loves ⚾
Been going here for several years The great evening out and you can afford to go there its not like going to the the professional games where they charge you an arm the leg and you cant afford to take your son anymore as a father and have a father-son relationship because of the price of the seats You have not went and watched these gentlemen play I would suggest you go had a really great time
They discriminate disability singers to sing at their games. They also have little regard to military or local celebrity families in honor at games. They disgust me. They are fake make like they care then discregard. Owner should be ashamed and so should who they put in charge of picking for events

2022-06-106/9/2022It had been at least 5 years since weve been to a Dragons game. Today we lucked out and were able to see a dbl header due to yesterdays game being postponed for weather. It was Loons v. Dragons & it was sooo close on the 1st game. What you need to know is that all food/beer spots are CASHLESS. No one wants actual cash anymore 🤦🏾♀️ but I digress...it was fun and the weather was perfect! Ill try not to wait another 5+ years to attend another game!

2022-05-08Our whole family had an opportunity to watch The Dayton Dragons play on Mother’s Day. We all had a great time & the food at the ballpark was fantastic. We even held the elevator for GEM as we were leaving and got a last minute photo opp! Please tell your staff they were fantastic today! We can’t wait to come back! #FamilyFirst #DaytonDragons #MothersDay #FamilyTime ⚾️

2022-05-20I absolutely love Day Air Ballpark!! Lucked up and saw Joey Votto playing on a rehab assignment so that made it extra special!! Driving over from Columbus is no big deal because the game day experience that the Dragons provide the fans is great!! Thanks to my Brother, Kevin Raney, for inviting me to hang out with him!!

2021-07-12Had a great day at the ball park. Clean, facility, good selection of food, snacks and drinks. Nice selection of craft beer! Extended netting for fan safety. Lawn seating, reasonable prices... enjoyed the atmosphere. I was surprised that there was no play area for little kids.

2021-09-16A fantastic, true Dayton experience. A small stadium feel with enthusiastic fans with constant local promotions supporting small business. Located in the heart of downtown, there are plenty of breweries, cantinas or parks within walking distance. Certainly something you dont want to miss.

2022-04-27Its always a good time going to a Dragons game. Great family fun in a clean, friendly, and safe environment. The crowd is always positive and it never gets close to rowdy or unruly which is great. Everyone is there for a good time and a day in the park. Minor leagues is way better than Majors in my opinion. The cost is so much better and the game is more lively and entertaining. With the new developments around the park there are more options for food and drink before/after the game.

2021-09-15Had a great time with all of the cancer survivors and their families as well as the pink ribbon girls organization and the baseball game in itself was good when we left the dragons were slaying them.

2022-04-23Great game today. I enjoy coming to games here and Ive been a quarter season ticket holder since 2008. I live downtown so I cant comment on the parking. The stadium always seems clean and the employees helpful. I would say the one area that has not recovered (yet) from the COVID-19 year is the Green Team and between innings entertainment. Used to be fabulous; now a little meh. But Im sure over time that will improve too. At least Madison and Roof Man are still there! :-)

2022-06-27Nice local place! Easy to access and who doesn’t love a baseball game! They do a lot of things between innings to keep the game interesting and to entertain all members of the family. Highly recommended!
