My fiancé made her appointment three months in advance, and when she showed up she was ignored for almost half an hour. Their website showed open appointments all day but couldn’t even acknowledge the customers in store. My fiancé was so excited to find her wedding dress and left feeling so upset.
I had the privledge of taking my granddaughter prom dress shopping this past Saturday. She selected the first dress she tried on. Tosha was so helpful with suggestions on shoes, jewelry, all the accessories. She was even able to get us into alterations which was a surprise they were so busy. Hannah in alterations was so sweet. She graduated from the same school which relaxed Alyssa. They know a lot of the same people.Thank you Tosha, Hannah and Davids Bridal for making Alyssa feel special and comfortable.Grateful Grandma❤️
Beware! You must have an appointment to try on gowns 👰🐢. They also require someone with you in dressing room. They discourage and dont like you walking around looking at dresses. It may be your day but it is all about them. So with that in mind the gowns are very reasonable and are beautiful. However every wedding shop has beautiful gowns.Customer service is bad. Make appointment and they rush you. They bring dresses to you that they think you want or maybe they want to get rid of cause ugly? It is amazing how bad it really looks on someone and they say how good it looks. Had to bring up online dress selection to get them to bring better dresses, which we found out they had. Yes, they have Vera Wang to try on...size 4 which seems to be a display only. Many shown on the recent ads or shown in main online ad are said to have been discontinued (why advertise them on national online) really ?Bride trying on gown and on bride stage area while kids run around from another group getting flower girl dress (where are we Walmart? ) ...which they had a whole side open away from the bride area. See kids👯 in photo playing on bride stagging area in photo. Takes away from the beautiful life moment. Wont let maid of honors try on dress in changing room...rooms open but some policy you need someone with you to try on dresses and of course you need to schedule for that too. So does this place have a problem of people stuffing wedding dresses in their pocket and stealing them? The group decided it was best to look elsewhere for made of honor dresses-their selection wasnt that great anyway for them. Their loss.Every bride should have a special time picking a dress and they just took something out of the special time. Maybe it would be different if they was slammed with customers but only couple shoppers. The lot was full but that was everyone going into Trader Joes next door.Choice is yours? Just remember going there this YOUR SPECIAL DAY, not the assistant. Customer service is in my standard for this product way below par.
This was my first time coming here for prom dress shopping. The ladies were so nice and helpful! They spent two hours helping us find the perfect dress. Dresses are reasonably priced and adorable! Very warm, spacious, and pampering atmosphere. I would definitely come again for dress shopping!
They really treat you like a princess here. Frances helped me the day I shopped for dresses. I ended up getting the first dress I tried on, but she was very patient as I tried on lots of dresses.Yvette and Maria helped me with alterations. Both are highly skilled and patient and take care that you will be more than happy with your dress. They are amazing.Very grateful to all the staff. Highly recommend this location.
I enjoyed trying on the bridesmaid dresses and found my favorite one only to find out that they would not be able to get it to me in time for the wedding. I dont think its a good business model to get someone excited about something they cant have. Do some research before the client gets there and only allow them to try on the dresses that will be available. I left feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and hopeless. To make matters worse, now I have to buy a dress for over 100 bucks that I dont really love. Not a happy customer at all.
Mia was absolutely wonderful, she was very professional and attentive to all 7 of us. She assisted us for both our bridesmaids dresses and my wedding dress. Mia’s second day on the job and she worked it like a pro! We shared fun and laughter during our visit which will be the most memorable moments when we reflect back during this time. A world of thanks to Mia.
The staff at this location is so warm and welcoming. We came on Sunday 10/24 to go wedding dress shopping for my friend, as well as try on dresses with her fiancé for fun. The entire staff at this location was so friendly. But, we had such a fun and lovely experience with Hannah and Jenny. They both deserve the world (and raises)!
I am currently at Bridalrama and I literally just got done speaking with the sales lady Jaylin from the Kenwood location she was very informative. She told me about things I didnt know Davids Bridal offer. I will definitely book an appointment for myself and bridesmaid. Great job Davids Bridal you have a great employee on your hands.
This was my first trip actually trying on wedding dresses. I had looked at a few different stores but didnt feel very comfortable there. Emily and Corey made me feel instantly comfortable and they were both so fun. They helped me find some gorgeous dresses that I truly loved. I cant wait to go back for a follow up appointment and hopefully say yes to my dress! ❤
I went into David’s Bridal and bought a dress in July of 2021. After trying on dresses (only 4) I picked my dress. The consultant walked to the front to put my dress in a bag. We get home to put the dress back on it was the wrong dress. They put the wrong dress back. It was a clearance dress, don’t make it anymore and they only had 2 sizes. I called back and thankfully they had the dress I should have gotten. We go to get the correct dress, try it on it fit perfectly but the zipper was broke. The consultant that time was super nice told me they will fix that, we don’t have to pay for it and that we could get it back at the beginning of the next week. I go to put the dress on at home once it was fixed and they took in over an inch on each side of the dress to fix it. Never did they tell me that how they would fix it and it clearly doesn’t fit the same now. It’s too tight and I have to take it somewhere else to have it completely redone again. I’m getting married in 20 days and the dress still isn’t right. They weren’t friendly at all on the phone, never apologized, and when I called about the zipper they pretty much said I’m out of luck and that’s how they had to fix it. Not happy with my experience at all.
Went to David’s Bridal in Kenwood to shop for my wedding dress. Karla was so sweet & patient. She really listened to me, asked follow up questions and gave me a really great selection. I had already picked out dresses online that I thought I liked, and with her guidance I ended up choosing the PERFECT dress that I hadn’t considered before. I am head over heels about this dress!!! Such a great experience!
I stopped in today at the Kenwood store to get a dress for my sons wedding. The young lady at the front desk, Fiona, greeted me and proceeded to help me find what I needed. It was so nice to have her stay with me while I tried on several outfits. She also brought me others to try. You dont get attention like that at any retail stores any more. The alterations department, particularly Yvette, were extremely helpful with getting my wedding dress fitted just right. I even needed some small adjustments the day before my wedding and they had them done in just under an hour! I also appreciated the crash course in corset lacing/bustling as well as the moral support. :)
We went in for a bridesmaid appointment and Corey was our consultant. He was great at pulling dresses that worked well for my sisters body types and being patient with us. We figured out dresses for all my 3 sisters and he helped with styles, colors and texture of the dresses which made me feel better. I would definitely recommend this location as well as Corey!
The first time I came to Davids Bridal I went looking for wedding gowns at the Dayton location. I felt pressured into buying the dress I did not want because the stylist was busy. Ended up returning the dress and coming back to look for others at the Kenwood location. I found the dress of my dreams. In alterations some issues came about with the bustle and I did not like it. I almost left unhappy but Corey stopped me and asked how my appointment went. After telling him what happened he was very understanding and was willing to do anything he could to make sure that this situation was made right. We scheduled a new appt with a different alterations stylist, Maria who worked wonders on my bustle. I even got a return for some of the money I had paid initially on the bustle because some of it was unnecessary. Corey and Maria made my experience wonderful however I wish I would not have had the initial problems. Corey and Maria made me feel beautiful and I could not be more happier with the service they provided to me.
I stopped by this location with a bridesmaid emergency last week (I could no longer fit the dress I ordered). With the wedding just weeks away, I feared there was nothing I could do in time.Thank God Corey (sales manager) and Maria (alterations manager) were there! They walked me through my options and the approximate costs for each. I was able to choose the most cost effective option & wound up with a different (& better fitting) dress! Corey & Maria saved me both time & money! I will return to this location : ).
I had a great time at Davids Bridal in Kenwood and Chloe was the one who helped me out. I had gone to 2 other Bridal shops after Davids, but one of the dresses I tried on at Davids was still in the back of my mind. I decided to go back to Davids a week later and tried on the dress I liked the most again. And I said yes to the dress.Chloe was great. She was very helpful, friendly, and experienced; there was no pressure whatsoever. She figured out what I liked and wanted in a dress. At the second appointment, she made sure that was the dress I wanted; she wanted me to be happy with my choice.
Many thanks to Lizzie who was an amazing person and helped me soooooo much. I was having such a hard time finding something to flatter my figure and she just continued looking until we found my perfect dress and she made me feel so comfortable and pretty. I had the best experience at my bridal appointment at the Kenwood location in Cincinnati, Ohio. Heather was my consultant and she was absolutely wonderful! Because of her I was able to find the dress of my dreams and all of the accessories to match. She really listened to my responses to her questions and in the end knew exactly what I would absolutely love when I wasnt even aware. My hat goes off to Heather and Beverly who was her training assistant that day, they made my experience magical! I am forever grateful.
I was excited for my first bridal appointment after having friends get their dress from DB and reading many good reviews from this location, however, I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit. The staff was slow to acknowledge us upon our arrival, and after I explained my vision, my consultant still had me do all the work myself to select dresses. I would have been OK having a male consultant as I did, however, instead of having assistance putting dresses on like the bride next to me, my sister had to help which really took away from the experience. The consultant did not seem engaged, and I did not feel any kind of appreciation as a customer who could be spending a lot of money on a dress. As someone who already dislikes shopping, this was not a fun experience for me. I later found my dress at the next bridal shop attempt, but another woman might have been too discouraged to try again after an experience like the one I had.
I had a great experience with Emily at Davids Bridal while shopping for bridesmaids dresses. She was both knowledgeable and helpful. I went in with vague ideas of styles, and she really helped us narrow down what I was looking for. She made us feel comfortable trying on several dresses and also knew how to adjust the dresses in ways that helped us understand how adjustments could be made to help them fit us in the best way possible. She was also very helpful in providing additional information about the store since I have a male member in bridal party, and we are going to look for a suit to match our dresses. She was so helpful, accommodating, and helped us have a blast as we found the right dress! She also helped provide very helpful information for my bridesmaid who is across the country. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
Callie was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly, informative, and creative! She made my experience a very memorable one! She was very patient with me as I tried on several dresses. I found my perfect dress, which brought the happy tears out! I got to ring the bell as I said YES TO THE DRESS!! I will definitely recommend David’s Bridal to anyone that is looking to feel even more beautiful than they already are to help them look and feel their best for whatever special event they have coming up! When I called to schedule I told them I was looking for velvet dresses and they told me there were a couple options. When we arrived for the appointment, they only had one velvet dress to try on. I wanted my girls to try in different style dresses just to get a feel for what they like on themselves and our consultant tidbit quite seem to understand. Super disappointed as I had really been looking forward to this appointment.
I had the most wonderful experience today at the Kenwood location. It was my first time trying on dresses and I was very nervous. My consultant, Tracy was the best! She made me very comfortable, answered all my questions and was very patient. She listened to everything I said I was looking for in a dress. I picked out a couple to try on and they were all beautiful. Tracy picked out the last one and it was the one!! She even picked out the most gorgeous veil to go with it. I can’t wait to walk down the aisle. Thank you Tracy for your help today!
Lisa at Kenwood was AMAZING! I had such a wonderful time picking out my dress and she made it so easy! She was professional and added suggestions for dresses that were similar if I didnt like dresses on me that I had picked out while there. She worked with me and my future sister-in-laws to find my dress and added suggestions. She was fun and personable as well. Easy to talk to. The store wasnt crowded. The only downside to my visit was when the systems went down and I couldnt pay for my dress that night, but that was pretty much out of everyones control. I highly recommend Lisa and the store in general. They went above and beyond and I will be back for sure!
I can not say enough good things about this Davids Bridal Location!I arrived thinking it was walk-ins, because thats what the Davids Bridal website said. When I arrived, the staff said Sadly its by appointments, but, let me see what we can do to get you squeezed in. I only had to wait a few minutes until they said that they could squeeze me in.I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Kasey! Kasey was so helpful. She truly made me feel beautiful even before I put on any dresses. She was so down to earth and I feel like we are best friends now.To make a long story short, this was my third bridal dress try on. I had a HORRIBLE experience at another shop and was just feeling totally defeated. I just didnt think that it was going to be any different than the other two dress shops.GIRL, WAS I WRONG!!!! I SAID YES TO MY DRESS AT DAVIDS BRIDAL!!!!I would totally recommend going to this Davids Bridal Location!! I will forever be thankful for this shop.
I cannot say enough good things about this location and especially Monique, the stylist I worked with! I am a plus size bridesmaid and have had the hardest time finding a simple yet flattering dress for my friends elopement. I honestly came here as a last resort, but wish I would have started here first! Monique is so intentional and after hearing some of my insecurities found items that maximized the areas I’m most confident in. I walked out in less than 1.5 hours with the perfect dress and accessories to match - plus I left feeling even better than I walked in because of the care and encouragement Monique provided!
I scheduled an appointment with David’s Bridal, because my husband and I are renewing our vows. I am considering a second dress for the reception I got my original Wedding Dress from David’s Bridal, so I really love David’s Bridal! They have a beautiful selection that keeps up with the trends. They also have extended sizes such as petite, plus, and tall.My appointment was a true boutique experience! Alexa has such a bubbly personality, and I really enjoyed her company! She reviewed my favorites and profile before my appointment, so she had a good idea of what I was looking for. Alexaalso made some good suggestions for dresses to try on, that I didn’t consider.Unfortunately, I didn’t find a reception dress yet but I still have time.

She listened and understood exactly what I loved/hated and worked from that with each round of dresses. She was so kind and sweet and fun and amazing! The shop was amazing and everyone was so kind! Frances was so sweet and attentive, making sure I found exactly what I loved and not pushing once towards something I didnt absolutely love. Even though I didnt walk away with my dream dress, I have so many things in mind because of my appointment.
Absolutely, thank you!!!! I went to one of the Davids Bridal locations to get my dress altered and they told me I needed to order a different size and reassured me I would have time to get my alterations done still. My new dress came in and they basically said sorry about your luck, but we cant get it done in time anymore, call another location! I called Davids Bridal in Kenwood and they got me scheduled for the next day, put a rush on my dress so it would be done in time, and everyone was absolutely amazing!!! I was so stressed that my dress wouldnt be done, but they made it happen even with as busy as they were!!! Im so grateful and thankful!!!
Despite receiving multiple texts, calls, and emails reminding me of my appointment (which is very annoying and overkill to start) we still had to wait 20-30 minutes before an employee was ready to see us. I dont feel like my time was respected as the whole appointment took almost 2 hours and my bridesmaids only tried on 4 or 5 dresses. The initial sizing the employee did was way off and so we had to spend more time just getting correct sizes. The dresses were pretty limited in terms of styles available in the store and the colors we were actually interested in so I dont feel like we got a good enough idea of how things would look on my girls. This is the second time Ive been to this location where I thought we were given hardly any attention despite having an appointment-- first time was looking for a mother of the bride dress. Not sure if its because we arent looking for a bridal gown or what, but I was very unimpressed with the whole experience.
I came in looking for a 25 year vow renewal dress. Since we would be on an island in July with only our children I wanted an elegant simple light weight dress. I was nervous about going to a bridal store at my age. My consultant Katie Rieth instantly put me at ease and was so helpful and knowledgeable that she made the process very easy. She did not push a sale but rather helped by guiding me through the process of choosing the perfect dress. The dresses are well made with a variety of prices for every budget! This store is clean and everyone there gives you the feel that you are the most important person in the store. I would highly recommend Katie for anyone looking for any type of dress- wedding, MOB, prom, or night out!
After several trips to a wedding dress store for my daughter and her bridesmaids, I decided to check out David’s Bridal for my MOB dress. They were incredibly patient with me when I had to change my appt twice. They seem to have a excellent consultant training program because the 2-3 consultants I spoke with were equally nice and helpful. The wedding will be very warm so I opted to look at cooler bridesmaids’ dresses rather than heavy beaded MOB dresses. When I showed my consultant the ones I liked from the DB website, she knew exactly where to find them.I was very pleased with my shopping experience. As a bonus, I will be saving a couple hundred dollars buying from David’s Bridal rather than the “discounted” store we visited before.
Very pleasant experience. I have been to 2 other Davids Bridal, one being in Florida and this one is by far the nicest. The woman who worked with me to alter my dress was very kind and did amazing work. I was completely impressed on how my dress came packaged, it made my dress look amazing. I almost cried! We booked when I could pick my dress up and it was ready on time. Thank you for the appointment reminders!
All of the staff made my experience comfortable and so much fun! Even employees who weren’t assigned to me gave good feedback and compliments to the dresses I tried on! I FOUND MY DREAM DRESS FOR MY WEDDING!Very reasonable (some almost unbelievably cheap) prices for the most beautiful dresses I’ve seen! My assigned helper was Lemmy and she was absolutely fabulous! Even gave her own advice and real opinion on every dress and style that would best fit my taste and body figure!I’m definitely coming back to get my Bridesmaids’ dresses, soon!
I had an absolutely horrible experience at Davids Bridal Kenwood location. Last August we went to pick out our bridesmaids dresses (only 3 bridesmaids in our party). The consultant told us to pick out our top 3 dresses from her iPad. She then told us that they didnt have 3/4 of the dresses listed online that we chose from. She didnt seem very interested in being there or knowledgeable either. We all picked our dresses from the small selection and paid and left. When I went to pick up the dress a few weeks later, it was a completely wrong dress (not the same fabric/material that I needed to match the others). They then no longer had the dress that I needed...... To fix their mistake, they were going to get a floor model dress from another store and make a dress for me. Okay fine great. This was Labor Day 2020, they said if I had not heard from them by the end of the year then give them a call.... WHAT. I thought they should be the ones in communication with me, and why 4 months?? So I called them in December and they said they were still working on it and it would be ready in 2-3 weeks. At that point I was upset by the lack of communication/effort to make things right from Davids bridal so I asked to speak to the manager and addressed how upset I was at the entire experience I had with them. I asked if they could work with me on a refund of some sort, since I was getting a make-shift dress when I paid for a brand new one, and they couldnt even give me a call to own up to their mistake and let me know where they were at on my dress. Never heard back from the manager (yikes) and I had to spend more money on alterations to the dress because it was just super goofy when I tried it on. I also spoke to several other bridal stores and they said it was absolutely handled wrong. Im getting married now and my bridesmaids will definitely not be going there. They need new consultants and new management if you ask me.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. After my sisters alterations appointment, they were able to take the time to help pick out bridesmaids dresses. They made the process so easy, knowing similar styles and helping to find exactly what I was looking for.Update: I went in for my alterations appointment. I had a similarly great experience.
So, of course a snow storm happens the night I am supposed to go find my wedding dress. But that didn’t stop David’s bridal consultant from driving TWO hours just to come in and help make my wedding day like a dream come true! Peter was so incredible patient and helpful with me and my daughter (who is 5yro).Unfortunately I cannot remember the General Managers first name, but that woman was spectacular! She greeted me at the door, showed me around the store and even called in a dress from the warehouse and had it expedited for me! It was the only dress I really loved so she truly made my wedding day all that much better!My heart is genuinely touched from the exceptional care and genuine kindness (during a pandemic) that these employees showed me. I highly recommend this store and location! Thank you again!
Emily is phenomenal!The store was extremely busy today. Phone was ringing back to back, customers needing fittings, returns, purchases, picking up orders!Customer Service was not compromised despite the continuous flow of business. A new hire waiting for instructions on her first day of work, immediately jumped in and met a customers need as best she could. Then followed up with a fellow team member to ensure the customer received the fabric being requested with the pricing info.Emily remained poised, enthusiastic and authentic with each experience I observed, as well as in my own personal experience with her.
On Sunday, I went bridesmaid dress shopping for my friend’s wedding in July at the Kenwood location. I was hesitant with my dress apt. at first because I have had a traumatic experience before and it made me more self conscious while dress shopping because my body is built differently than other girls at my height and weight. Peter did a great job welcoming me with a friendly greeting and was a great guide during my dress apt. I want to thank him for his kindness and patience. Now, I can’t wait to pick up my dress for my friend’s wedding.
I did not purchase my wedding dress from here, I did in Tennesse at a different location that was wonderful. I was told I could return if there was a problem to a store in Cincinnati. I tried to return the strapless bra that I purchased with my dress. I was told I could not. I was upset because they did not honor there polucy stated on the receipt. I did not wear the bra nor my wedding dress because of the bra not working with my dress. I ended up wearing something totally different for my special day.
I had a wonderful experience because of running into Heather at Bridalrama. She showed me that my dream dress was in stock at her store after I had previously been told that it would never be carried again. We immediately went over to the store and had Callie help us out with finding the dress on the rack, fitting and making the experience even more special. These two ladies have made my wedding day a little more special. Thank you!
My first visit to David’s Bridal was very disappointing due to not being able to try on the dress I really wanted since they didn’t have it in stores yet and a very unhelpful team member. I purchased a dress that I wasn’t overly thrilled with because I felt so discouraged with the whole experience and just wanted it to be over with. I later wrote a review explaining my terrible experience and how it made me feel. Within five minutes the store manager Charity called me to sincerely apologize and told me she wanted to make it right. She literally worked magic! The dress I had my heart set on wasn’t due to be available until just weeks before my July wedding. She went above and beyond and had it ready for me to try on and purchase in less than a week! She turned what was by far my worst shopping experience into the best one I’ve ever had. Charity clearly takes her job very seriously, and cares about her customers more than most do. I could not thank her enough for how hard she worked to make sure I will be wearing my dream dress on my special day!
Uhmm?? I just went in to purchase a dress, they didn’t have my size so I inquired to order it. The salesperson said it could be ordered but it wouldn’t arrive until April, I was like okay that’s fine I don’t need it until July. But then she told me there was a 7 day return policy… not 7 days from the day it arrives, 7 days from TODAY! This is the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard, how could I possibly try on a dress and then return it in the next 7 days if I won’t get it until April?!? So confused … anyway aha
Well it was very packed and there was like no room. We had a new employee and she did ok but my daughter told her the budget and the dress my daughter loved was way over her budget. Then the store manager was very rude after my daughter’s appointment was over and told us that we would have to move. For the next party which was us?! Once my daughter choose a dress they ring a bell. Then comes the payment options. So unless you have good credit the payment plan is a joke. So we left with no dress. It was awful. I would not recommend David’s unless you have no where else to go!!
I’d give 10 stars if I could!! So grateful for them!We had to postpone a 2020 wedding and since then, 3 of my bridesmaids have had/are having a baby which meant we needed new dresses. The company I ordered the original dresses from went out of business which meant I had to get all 8 brand new dresses …and with very little time.I came in to order 8 bridesmaids dresses at once and was nervous that they wouldn’t have enough time since the wedding was a month away. Trisha was super patient with me and did not say anything about how last minute this was or express any concern which made me feel comfortable and took a lot of stress off of me.7/8 dresses came 1 week early! One needed to be shipped to another state and they sent it for free! The last dress that came today also needed to be shipped and they also OVERNIGHT shipped that for me for free! I’m super thankful for this team! Took a LOAD of stress off of me from what has been a very stressful, prolonged season of wedding planning & replanning because of covid.Thank you!!!
I found the perfect mother of the bride dress but David’s Bridal told me they couldn’t sell it to me off the rack which was a total reversal from what they said to me when I walked into the store. They had said you could buy ANYTHING off the rack. When I went to buy the dress, the sales girl went to the desk then came back and said they couldn’t sell it to me off the rack because it was a new store policy! I was very upset, since it fit well and looked great on. The girl just said sorry and the rest of the staff ignored me when I went to leave. Very disappointed in the Montgomery Rd/ Kenwood store.
Today was my bridesmaids fitting and we had the best experience with Katie at the Kenwood store. She was so kind as we walked in the door and so helpful & kind as my girls were trying on the dresses. She was happy, helpful, and went above and beyond my expectations. I will refer anyone who is looking for bridal needs to Katie. Thank you for making this experience so wonderful and smooth!
Jessica (at Kenwood) was so sweet and accommodating! I went into the appointment really closed-minded and she helped me see past that so that I could find the perfect dress for me. She made the experience really special for my mom, sister, and me and we wish we could buy 15 dresses from her!
I love my dress. Really Love my Dress but I had a guy as my helper/stylist and he was not much help at all. This was my first time I and felt abandoned by him. I had to ask him to come help me several times with clips.He was also helping another bride during my time. I booked an hour appointment and I think I got 15mins of his attention.
Horrible experience here yesterday. I had a 6 pm appointment & just wanted to get a feel on starting with finding the dress style I liked.First of all the consultant I had wasn’t attentive at all. She didn’t help me when it came to trying them on or anything. She knew nothing about her sizes and she just came off rude not to just me and my party other guest had chimed in too when she made a comment about a dress not being in my size. Regardless idk what happened to David’s bridal but their selection has seemed to decrease too. Definitely shop around! Don’t say yes because they make you feel obligated at the end of your visit.
So I’ve been having problems with the store in my area. I’ve ordered my wedding dress from the store for online and was never given a order number to check the status. So I texted the customer service line found on the website and I talked to Teryn and this person was beyond amazing! Come to find out my dress is supposed to be delivered to the store I bought it from..today. But again Teryn thank you for everything you are an amazing person. If it wasn’t for you I would probably still be freaking out! If anyone gets this person they are beyond amazing when it comes to helping out! Very much wish you were in my area!
I brought my coat in after taking it elsewhere to get it quoted, and the pricing at Davids Bridal in their Alterations department is fantastic! Its affordable, reasonable, and I trust the opinion of the Alterations manager, Maria! She gave honest feedback on how to repair the coat. And she understood the sentimental value the jacket had for, since it was passed down from my mother. Shes confident she can restore it to its former glory!
We had the most pleasant associate: Lemmy Barber, zeroed in on exactly the type of dress my daughter wanted! She listened and I was so impressed with her knowledge of the inventory, the ocean of dresses she knew so well. She was very kind and so helpful! Made quick, precise work of what felt like an overwhelming day to us! We will remember her when its our next daughters turn! Also, had a wonderful lady seamstress help with alterations! She was an expert at every detail, we left confident and excited with our purchase. Thank you again!
Maria was excellent in helping with my fitting! Started off to a rocky start thinking somehow I had gained 6 inches between fittings. Maria was kind, kept me from freaking out, and helped explain everything to me. Highly recommend going to her for such an important occasion such as ones wedding.
I visited the Kenwood location in Cincinnati, OH and Chloe was awesome. I was nervous when I entered the store as it was my first time trying on wedding dresses and she made me feel so comfortable, she was patient with me despite trying on multiple gowns, and she was detail oriented. Thanks Chloe for a wonderful day and experience!
Friendly, helpful, and I loved making a wish and ringing the bell when I finally picked my dress. The associate I worked with was non judgemental, simply assisted me and let me decide what looked good and what I liked. Wasnt a yes man nor was negative in any fashion of the word. Never got frustrated or irritated when with me. It was a wonderfully fun experience and my dress was a great price. Highly reccommended!
I had such an amazing experience at David’s Bridal! I worked with Lemmy who was so incredibly sweet and kind throughout the whole experience, and who’s top priority was making sure I (the bride) felt absolutely comfortable and amazing for my wedding day. We booked an appointment, so we had her full attention for the entire hour, without interruption. She was always ready to bring any accessories requested and made excellent suggestions as far as fit to help me avoid additional costs of alterations. Not only her, but the entire staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming, helping to celebrate the experience and share in our excitement. It was such a special and amazing experience to share with my mom that I truly think I will always remember. I came in thinking I would just get a much more solid idea of what I was wanting, not really expecting to purchase a dress that day, but I left with not only 1, but 2 amazing dresses; 1 for my courthouse wedding and the other for our wedding photo shoot on our honeymoon
I absolutely love THIS davids bridal. Definitely doesnt compare to the others Ive visited before. Lisa did an amazing job for my dress fitting and my best friends wedding dress fitting. Lisa was patient, she listened, and made sure i was trying on all the dresses i picked out in the show room. They made this once in a lifetime experience perfect!
Terrible!! Talked to a person at a bridal show, she told me that they had the color of bridesmaids dresses that I wanted (Sunflower), she even pulled up the info on the Davids Bridal website. I made an appointment less than 2 weeks later, showed up for the appointment to find out that the color was discontinued. The store manager offered to give us 20% off if I wanted to try a different color which was very nice but....this discount was nothing special thats the normal discount you get when you download the app (which we all did). I will NOT be going back to any Davids Bridal!! Most of the color posters didnt have the color sunflower on them, but the store still had a few posters with the color sunflower on them.
Service was FANTASTIC! The lady who helped me was so sweet and she didn’t push for a sale, she truly seemed to just simply enjoy her job. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I did not say yes to the dress, as it was the very first place I looked, and I wanted to keep my options open.
From the moment I walked in, the greeter was snobby. Everyone that worked there was completely unhelpful and rude. Not one person acknowledged me while I was walking around looking. I understand they may have been busy, but I think they can at least acknowledge you and offer to help, or let you know that they will be with you shortly. The selection was not very good. I was not impressed. I used this store years ago for my daughter’s wedding, but something has changed, not for the better.
I went for a bridal consultation and the stylist did not really listen to my preference for styles. They did not have many dresses to choose from. She did not pull the dresses my family selected that I really liked. When taking measurements for my long bra, she got the incorrect cup size and caused serious gapping. I ended up finding my dress at another place where they were able to successfully capture my requests.
I had a great experience and was so happy to have Katie as my stylist! She was so kind and attentive to what I was looking for and picked out the dress that ended up being “the one”! I really appreciated how much body positivity she showed to me and other brides she was assisting. I felt Katie genuinely wanted to help me find a dress that made me feel great and she did!
Was very happy that I could do an exchange on a prom dress that my daughter didnt use, to go towards the brides maid dress I bought. Was not happy with the limited style choices. Understandable with covid. Im only giving 2 stars because I feel that the lady who helped us was not the easiest to communicate with. Nice lady. But very hard to get her to understand my exact concerns or questions. Their was four of us in our party. We all felt the same. However the manager Nicole was very helpful!
To be honest I only gave three stars because the front desk girls. We pulled our own stuff, I wasn’t asked about the wedding, what the girls were looking for, I pulled dresses and sizes and zipped the girls up. I also fitted it to their bodies if needed. I’m a former David’s employee so I understand the things that need to be done, said and ordered. The biggest reason I didn’t have my girls order from the girl (which I can’t even remember her name because I saw her maybe once after we got measured.) was because I did most of it and she got an attitude when I told her I understood that the ordering takes time. I explained I understand and my wedding isn’t until September and I’m from out of town and needed to see what the girls were picking. After that I didn’t see her again.I get that you get overbooked and that you have others to deal with but that’s one thing David’s will always need to work on. Stop overbooking your stylists.
Nothing about this bridal dress shopping experience made the bride feel special AT ALL. I rarely leave reviews, but here goes because they need to know how to step it up. 1. There are NO MIRRORS in the dressing room so you don’t get to see if you have the dress on correctly before you walk out. Ridiculous. You don’t realize how much a quick glance into a dressing room mirror helps until it’s missing. 2. The girl who was helping us had 2 brides at the same time and was essentially no use to either one of us. Every time I needed her to zip something or add a detail at anything, she wasn’t there or had to go really far away to get the belt, veil, etc. Standing and waiting 5 minutes per dress for her to grab a detail that she thought would “fix” a dress I told her I didn’t love. Grrr. Waste of time. If that’s your plan - to try to better the dress with accoutrements - awesome. BUT HAVE THEM NEAR THE TRY-ON AREA. 3. The try-on area was a small, sterile-feeling gray carpet thing with gray plastic office chairs. It wasn’t cute or bridal AT ALL. To see into a mirror, I had to look past the other bride! This place is ridiculous.
The women helping my bridesmaids find dresses were very helpful and polite. They carried conversations with us, gave opinions on whether a dress looked right or not and made sure that each dress would come on time and in the right color. Our visit was very pleasant. I would always recommend Davids Bridal Kenwood!
My consultant was AWESOME!!!! The customer service was GREAT, no complaints. The selection for plus size bridesmaid dresses was poor, the spare selection of dress options in my size made me feel like I was defective for coming in there! I left feeling not very encouraged. I would have loved to have at least 5-6 options to try on instead of 3 options that were available to me! Davids Bridal really needs to dedicate a full rack to plus size gowns. I would have walked out of there purchasing a gown had there been more options for me to select from.
I went here very last minute (3 days til wedding). Had issues with my original dress. & gave up on it. JESS helped me. She was a God send! I was there a lil over an hour. She was the one who actually found my dress for me & it was amazing! Also it cost WAY less than my budget.-JESS u were so awesome!!! Thank u again!
Amazing experience! The assistant manager Nicole was my stylist today and she was just absolutely fantastic. I had a vision and she made sure that not only did I try on dresses exactly what I had in mind, but also dresses that fit my explained style. She was beyond helpful and I was able to find my dream dress and feel beautiful at the end of my appointment
After months of anticipation, we had a terrible experience at Davids Bridal in Kenwood. We saved all of the dresses my daughter liked (which were many) and only 1 was in stock. Our stylist was nice, but we told her that we wanted a Bohemian style lace dress with sleeves for an outdoor wedding. No bling. She brought us dress after dress of old fashioned looking dresses that were just awful. There were two she tried on without rhinestones, but they were nothing fabulous. At all. I thought the stylist assisted the bride. There was hardly any of that. No helping button up the back, etc. Most of them were hung outside her room and me (the Mom) would be in charge of putting them back into the garmet bag and hanging them back up. Just a very bad experience all together. We were thinking of getting the bridesmaid dresses there, but I dont think we will bother. We ended up purchasing a quality dress at the same price in the Bridal District in Reading. Ladies, take the time to go to privately owned boutiques. Their prices are not as bad as you may think (especially because so many are on sale). Just an all over bad experience at Davids.
I went into the store alone just to try on a dress for sizing purposes; I was not planning on buying a dress. As a new bride, I had no idea what I was looking for. Lemmy was my consultant and she was fantastic! She put me into the dress I came in to see and was very honest with me on how it looked, which I very much needed since I was there alone. She then put me in a few other dresses just so I could see styles and see what I liked and disliked. She was so gentle with me on questions, probing to see what I liked and what I didnt. She asked me areas of concern and addressed those with each new dress she put me in. She then asked me permission to try a dress on me that they had just gotten in just to see what I thought. I agreed and put it on. And OMG I fell in LOVE!!! It was the most perfect dress in the world for me and not something I would have EVER pulled off a rack myself. She helped me Facetime my mom and bridesmaids so I could have their support and thoughts on the dress. Then Lemmy went one step further and brought other employees from the store over to me so they could give me their opinions and tell me how great I looked. This meant so much to me because I was there alone and that was sad for me (thank you COVID). Her ability to rally support for me and make this occasion so special was so touching. I walked out with the dress of my dreams for my perfect day and it is all thanks to Lemmy! I could not have asked for a better experience.
This davids bridal has always been efficient and kind for the bridesmaids dresses that I have purchased there. The manager was personable and professional. They are helpful in figuring our the size you need depending on the different kinds of dresses and the timeline in which your dress would be in.
Delani is amazing! The first time I came in the try on dresses she was extremely helpful and picked a wide variety of dresses so I could see what I liked. She was extremely nice and honest which is something I admire. When I went back to try my dress on one more time she remembered me even though it had been a couple of months. I am extremely happy with my wedding dress!
I was helped by the ladies at Montgomery road in ken-wood Ohio. I ended up going with a bridesmaid dress for my wedding dress but never felt different just because I spent less on a wedding dress. Yvette in (alterations) was our seamstress and she did a phenomenal job on the adjustments and all her help with how to make sure I felt comfortable in my dress and beautiful for my wedding day! Love the ladies at this location!
I really liked Lizzie!! She was so helpful to my bridesmaids and my matron of honor. She was so accommodating. The day was all about them but she asked my opinion and told me stuff she didn’t tell them and gave me options she didn’t give them. She was very helpful in helping to find my bridesmaids and matron of honor their dresses. We had to change a couple things like color and length and that was fine with me gave my ladies more options for dresses and they all found something they liked some even loved I think!! I will recommend Lizzie to anyone that goes there to do an appointment!!
Emily was AMAZING! I ended up buying the first dress she picked out but honestly loved them all. She was extremely knowledgeable and really cared about the dress selection and helping me feel comfortable. cannot imagine having a better experience than I did with her. The manager Nicole is HORRENDOUS, but I plan to contact customer service regarding her unprofessionalism. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable wedding dress.
I went here to find my wedding dress and everyone was super nice and helpful. I went back today for my alterations and started feeling faint near the end and Emily brought me water,chips, and mints to help get my blood sugar back up. She took the time to make sure I was okay even though I know she was super busy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Super nice, caring, with amazing customer service.
Came in last night to find a prom and bridesmaid dress for my daughter, and Charity was very good. She was patient and thorough. She gave us a lot of options and found the perfect style for my daughter. We were an hour late for the appointment, the other stylist who was supposed to help us was working with someone else at that point. Charity stepped in and said shed assist us, without question and a gave me a smile. We drove in from Louisville, and were just exhausted. She kept me company while my daughter tried dresses which was very nice and appreciated. Prices are fantastic and dresses are beautiful. Charity was a breath of fresh air and from what she told me, she is the manager for this location. She was doing it all last night helping me and a few other people. I never saw her frown, once. Its hard finding amazing customary service in sales these days, she went above and beyond. Well be back when my daughter gets engaged to work with Charity.
I love the experience. The ladies and the manager was very informative and exciting to be around. As a first time bridesmaid you can have plenty of ideas but no direction of where to start. Luckily its good to start with a budget and see what you like. Im so excited to get my dress from there and enjoy the experience up to my wedding date.
I visited David’s bridal on 2/10/19 looking for my wedding dress. I had my heart set on a dress at a different store but was going to look at David’s anyways.We were given Ashley, to say she was wonderful is an understatement. She figured out what I liked and what I didn’t- she was very understanding and importantly was honest. She was quick, easy to talk to and overall a wonderful person to help me find the perfect dress for my day.& We did!!!Shout out to Ashley! You keep rockin it! ♥️
Came in to look at bridesmaids dresses, showed them the screenshots of dresses I liked online, she happily went and found them all and measured all the girls and privately showed them their sizes. they were extremely nice and helpful when we had questions or needed to clipped in. Went in with one color in mind and when I changed the color she happily found other dresses in that color so we could see it on skin tones. Overall, very clean and nice staff. We were done in just 30 minutes with how easy the process was, and we were given a 90 minute slot. Would recommend.
AWESOME experience! We had tried 3 other dress shops with no luck before coming to David’s. We were welcomed into David’s with huge smiles and open arms! Our consultant Katie was extremely helpful and eager to provide answers for all of our (many) questions. She was understanding, not pushy at all, and genuinely willing to help us get the best deal. It was a pleasant, fun experience!
I had a really great experience. Being a plus sized bride I wad dreading trying on dresses, but my stylist was so great and helpful made the experience fun and special I highly recommend going ask for Jessica Bryant she was truly amazing and made my first time looking for my dress easy and fun.
My experience was fantastic! The staff was fantastic. I loved going wedding dress shopping and my maid of honor was even able to find something which was amazing and I plan on taking my bridesmaids there. I went to four different places and tried on different dresses and fell in love with a certain style. I am so glad I finally found my dress. When I tried on the first dress at Davids Bridal, I knew it was definitely the one. The lady that took care of me was Cara and she was so nice. I am so glad she helped us. I would definitely encourage anybody to go to Davids Bridal.
I had an appointment to try on Mother of the Bride dresses. Not sure why I needed an appointment though. The assistant I supposedly had only gestured us to the fitting room, was nowhere around to help me or to clamp the dresses once I put them on, and my daughter was not offered a chair and sat on the floor. Worst experience ever. My daughter had previously chosen her bridesmaids dresses from David’s Bridal, but will be choosing those dresses elsewhere now.
Shopping with the stylist Margo was an amazing experience. She was so kind, helpful, and charismatic. She made us laugh and cry and we did not have to worry about a thing with her direction. She was accommodating and didnt push us into getting something outside of our budget. She had great advice and I couldnt have done it without her. Davids has beautiful dresses at amazing prices. I found a designer dress on sale and WOW, I am more than pleased!
I got my bridal gown from them 5 years ago and got a bridesmaids dress for my brothers wedding. I always end up feeling so good and confident in the dress I get. They help you find whats right for you, and they dont rush it. Highly recommend, especially the Kenwood,OH location!
Lizzie was absolutely wonderful! She really helped me make such an important decision for my wedding day! She didn’t push dresses on me that I didn’t like. And she let me make my choice on my own without trying to tell me which one to pick! Which is exactly what I needed! I had tried on so many dresses prior to Lizzie helping me find the one! I’m so glad she was the stylist I received!
I feel like David’s is so back and forth. I never have a consistent experience with them. For example, some people measure way different than others. I’ve been measured from a 16 with one person to a 22 with another. My sister-in-law who is almost 10 was measured into women’s sizes. I’m like she is no where near built right or big enough for women’s cut clothing. Then sometimes the employees are super helpful and sometimes you never see them. You honestly never know which experience you are going to get with them.
Went in today and was surprisingly disappointed in everything. I had arrived a little early, and was told to go to the grocery store next door until my appointment time to pass the time. I had asked if it were okay to stay in the store and browse at the dresses (not pull anything), but just to browse, and was quickly told that I wasn’t allowed to take anything off the rack. My appointment started 10 minutes late and my consultant left me with someone new and training (no trainer in sight). The experience was awkward and I was told to take off my undergarments so they could dress me in theirs. No other bride during the time I was there was forced to wear their slips/corsets. I told them the girl it was uncomfortable and that it was a distraction from the dresses I was trying on. She didn’t let me take it off. Before this appointment, I had another at a small bridal boutique where I found a dress I really liked, but wasn’t sure it was “THE ONE”. None of the dresses fit me correctly, and the consultant didn’t try to help. She didn’t clip or pin anything to make the dresses look more fitting (I’m 4’10” with a petite figure). I had explained to her that it was really hard for me to imagine me wearing the dress on my wedding day because nothing fit right. At one point they brought out a size 10 dress that didn’t fit in any of the correct places. I had asked if she could pin or clip to help, and her response was “well, I’m I can try to find some for you”. The bride next to me was there for 15 minutes before her consultant had her in literal tears (and not in a good way) she tried on two dresses and left the store. I can only imagine what they had done to her to make her feel that terrible. The ladies were quick to get me in and out of dresses but could tell I was unhappy with the dresses so didn’t try to push the sale. Finally they told me my time was up, but I still had another 20 minutes!!! I had asked if my bridesmaids could try on a dress or two, and they told them it wasn’t permitted in the time, but could make an exception. MY APPOINTMENT RAN 10 MINUTES LATE AND I STILL HAD 20 MINUTES UNTIL THE END OF MY ALLOTTED TIME!! Finally I was done. Waste of my time and quite honestly will never recommend this location.
Olivia was AMAZING! She truly made us feel like we were the only customers in the very busy store! My sister found her perfect dress, and her daughters found their perfect junior bridesmaid dresses! She then also helped find the perfect bridesmaid dresses for the rest of the bridal party! She made each of us feel so great about our decisions! Thank you Olivia!!
I set up an appointment to buy a dress a week ago. When I came in for the appointment I was 15 minutes early, so I took my time and looked at all the dresses that I might want to try on. When it came time for my appointment they had 1 consultant for 2 brides. This was only my second time looking for a dress, but I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. The consultant was trying to keep up with both of us, but I ended up waiting the longest for her help. I’m not sure how they decided to tag me along with this other bride, but i have a feeling that it was because I had no one with me. (All my close family and friends live out of town.) My consultant is not to blame. It’s David’s Bridal. If I book an appointment that 90 minute time slot should be my time. This is an important day and no one should feel uncomfortable or feel unimportant when shopping for their wedding dress. SHAME ON YOU DAVID’S BRIDAL.
I had a very positive first experience with Davids Bridal in Kenwood. The store associates were courteous and helpful throughout the bridesmaid dress shopping process. I absolutely love the Vera Wang collection that the bride found here and the other bridesmaids love it as well.I wish they were a little more transparent about other dress options - when I had another style that I wanted to try on, even if it meant going to another Davids bridal location, the associate went out of the public area to look up availability. Not saying I dont trust the associate or am assuming she wanted to make the sale that day, it would just be nice to see the availability at other locations as well. All in all, a simple, easy trip to the store with a lot of options and help when I needed it. And great delivery time (a week and a half!!) on the dress.
Wasn’t super excited to try on wedding dresses as I don’t love shopping, but deciding to come to David’s Bridal was the best choice I could have made. Not only did I have a fantastic, low-pressure experience, but every single woman I came in contact with was kind, encouraging, & accommodating. I felt like I had my own cheerleading squad. :) I was in the store for about 2.5 hours total, & in that span of time, I found MY dress. It was excellently priced & beautifully made, & it was even better than the style I pictured. Additionally, I bought the dress in Ohio but live in Nashville, & David’s Bridal is making it easy for me to have the alterations done locally. Two thumbs up for an excellent experience. I’m thrilled to wear this gown for my wedding day!
We had a great experience at Davids Bridal. This was the first place we have looked for a dress and her stylist was wonderful. My daughter tried on a couple of different styles and found the style thats perfect for her. Even though we didnt buy a dress that day, I think we will be back!
I did not have a good experience trying on wedding dresses for the first time. I assumed when making an appointment meant I would have a consultant to help guide me and give opinions... but I guess this was the wrong assumption. I was assigned a consultant, but another bride was also assigned the same consultant at the same time. I saw the constant for only a few minutes of the 90min appt. Instead, they gave me a custom service representative to help zip me up. While she was very nice and sweet, she knew nothing about the dresses. An experience that should have been a beautiful and happy moment.. was definitely not and a waste of time. I had family drive 2 and a half hours to be there with my on this special day.
Charity turned our not so great experience into an amazing experience. Throughout the appointment she was very sweet and helpful. She made us feel comfortable and like our business was very important. We left the store feeling wonderful and we will definitely be back!
My Maid of Honor and I made an appointment 4/8/15 for two wedding dress viewings, my Maid of Honor is getting married next year, and bridesmaid dresses. Our consultant Nicole was absolutely amazing. She was spot on the type of dresses I was wanting, she was very polite, and overall amazingly helpful. Before leaving her shift for the day she made sure my Maid of Honor was able to try on bridesmaid dresses, and set up another consultant to help her find wedding dresses. Then the new consultant Jill was able to efficiently help us, along with help another bride with her dresses. The ladies at this Davids Bridal really know what that are doing, and how to make your experience overall amazing. I have full intent of getting my wedding dress from this Davids Bridal, and my Maid of Honor will be getting her bridesmaid dress and wedding dress from here as well. I highly recommend to any bride and her family in the Cincinnati area come to this Davids Bridal to shop for bridal and wedding needs.
I have to admit to being in a terrible mood when I arrived for my final fitting after alterations but the staff is so courteous and nice and went out of their way to make my dress just the way I wanted it. As I was leaving the store someone told me to have a great day and I realized I was going to have a better one because they completely changed my mood from bad to good.Thank you for helping me with the dress and helping me to have that great day.
Mixed experience as a bridesmaid. I chose an online only dress, but wanted to go into the store to get measured for size. (I have wide hips and a small bust so the size I order is often smaller than what a size chart recommends). It was a relaxed environment, and they were able to help me out just fine!Picking up my dress though was a different story. The store was so packed and I was promptly ignored after they brought out my dress. I even went to try it on and get an associates attention, but it was as though they were actively ignoring me given there were multiple brides and so many people there. (Sidenote: the parking lot was the most stressful/crowded Ive seen in my whole life.) Finally, a fellow customer waived down a store manager and we set up an appointment for a later date. The manager was super nice and helpful.Alteration appointment went well. The bodice has ruching and I just wasnt loving how it was laying. After having the seamstress look at it a second time, she offered to sew in cups, which I wish she wouldve offered from the start. But she was nice and professional and I have confidence my dress will turn out nicely when I pick it up.Net, I like the store experience during the week and think the weekend experience could be improved with simple communication adjustments. Could been as simple as Heres your dress. Were a bit busy now though--would you like to come back for an alterations appointment at a later date? Coming back to the store is no big deal and wouldve spared me the time I spent in the fitting room area waiting for someone to help me out. Also, I anticipate *most* bridesmaids will need their dresses altered, so I think it should be customary practice to make that service available to them vs. simply handing off their dress and walking away.
I had the most amazing experience! Delaney helped me to find the perfect dress, she was so patient and willing to do whatever it took to help me make my dreams a reality. The dress fit like a glove and I had some small alterations made which turned out perfectly! The dress looks like it it is made for me and I never want to take it off. They even went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and help me wherever needed. I am so glad I chose Davids Bridal and I cant wait to show my friends and family my dress on my wedding day!
I went in today so nervous since it was my first time trying on wedding dresses and the consultant Lemmy helped me out so much. She was very great and I defiantly recommend working with her. She made me feel very comfortable and offered great tips and information. It was a great experience and I am very thankful I was paired up with such a nice and helpful person.
Came in to buy a mother of the groom dress. The person that was suppose to help me left, and didnt tell me she was leaving. Me, and my family stood around waiting on her. She didnt help me find a dress, and she kept walking away. I dont care if I was there to buy a mother of the groom dress, I paid too much money for this kind of disrespect. I should still receive the same kind of time, and attention as anyone else. I will never return again, and wont recommend them to anyone I know!!!
Over the weekend I worked with two very very lovely young ladies. Charity and Lizzy. They were both so nice and extremely helpful. Im an older bride. I found my love late in life. So I was not expecting any of todays trends to really be my cup of tea. Im 60 years old, and I wanted coverage. Sleeves and tea length. I started with The manager, Charity, and she walked me through the store have some advice on styles and showed me what we could do to accommodate my needs as well as how much I was willing to spend. Then she switched with Lizzy. She was just so sweet. She really listened as much as the manager did. We ended up finding a dress, different from what I was originally looking for, but definitely what I needed! Lizzy was great and so was Charity. Highly recommend both ladies if youre looking for a dress.
I’ve shopped at David’s Bridal for my first wedding. This time around I wanted something very casual. I was instantly greeted by 3 very friendly women and introduced to Lisa, my stylist. Lisa is so friendly and was wonderful to work with. She understood exactly what I was looking for and did great with what I was looking for. I highly recommend to work with Lisa!!
I had a great experience with this store! I purchased my dress from another location and wasn’t fully satisfied with the service; so I called this location when it was time for alterations.I was so lucky to call and get Maria. She came in on her day off to start the process and pin the dress, when I was unhappy with the look of my bustle I called her and told her my concerns; she set another appointment for me to come in and she changed it to make it look exactly how I wanted, she overheard my mom talking about needing to get an appointment for alterations and offered to schedule her at the same time as me to make sure we only had to make one trip, and when I came to pick up the dress she had me try it on and she said that she was unhappy with the bustle on the mesh of the bottom layer; she came up with another idea, repinned the dress and kept it to make it perfect.I didn’t feel like I was just another person who was being rushed in and out of alternations. I felt like I was the only bride that she was helping and I am more than happy with everything that Maria has done for me. She made sure that my wedding dress met every expectation that I had and that it was gorgeous for my wedding day.I am so greatful for everything that Maria has done to make my wedding go smoothly. I would recommend anyone to come to this store for their alterations.
I needed a last minute dress for a wedding. I am a plus size and petite which is hard to find. I walked into Davids Bridal after not finding anything in town, and within minutes, found a dress that was perfect. Although it was late evening, alterations were pinned on the spot (no requirement to come in daytime) and were able to add a flourish I wanted. Definitely recommend Davids Bridal for all sizes to meet all your prom and evening needs
I had a great experience at Davids Bridal. I made an appointment for my bridesmaids and myself. Halie W took very good care of us. She was patient and very professional. I really did not like the dresses I picked out for myself. I kinda told Halie what I was looking for and my top 2 dresses were the two she picked. Unfortunately I did not find The dress however I found the dresses my bridesmaids will wear. BTW Halie was not pushy and she did not pressure me. I so appreciate that. I will definitely be back. Even though I didnt end up buying a dress, the consultant I worked with, Sadie, was great. She was very patient with me despite having no idea what kind of dress I was looking for. I found a clearance one I liked, but it was a size to large. We talked to alterations about how much it would cost and it would have been another $300. The lady I spoke with was very honest and told me I would be better off finding a dress that fit better right off the rack. I had a good experience and didnt feel pressured to buy anything.
Our experience shopping for bridesmaid dresses was amazing! Haley was such a wonderful consultant giving us tips and ideas while also allowing us to make our own choices. I never felt pushed to buy but all of my girls bought their dresses! I love Haley and highly recommend her!!
I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate Charity in the Kenwood store. After an issue with my dress when it came in defected last weekend (7 days before the wedding) I called the store immediately, they said the manager will call me back, it was a busy Saturday. I expected to get a call back the next day. She called 3 minutes later. Charity suggested I bring the dress back to look it over. I came in and she jumped to action and took the dress to alterations to have it looked over. I was told that after steaming and pressing, plus the re-tacking, and replacing the hook and eye, hopefully everything will be fine. I came in two days later on Monday (now 5 days till the wedding) and was told that the dress was sewn incorrectly. At this point I was upset visibly and audibly (not my proudest moment). I contacted the bride and told her what was going on. Charity, again, immediately stepped in and contacted corporate for us, to find out the options. They were able to send a new dress and overnight it! I came in Wednesday to pick up my new PERFECT dress just 3 days before the wedding. Charity doubled checked it, and steamed it personally. Now Im sitting here at the reception, thinking about the whole ordeal, so happy it turned out the way it did. Charity saw there was a problem and didnt wait for me to say anything. She found a solution, and even after I yelled and raised my voice at her multiple times, she did not hesitate to assist me. With a smile still on her face. She said it is my job to stress for you. Which is incredible. I will always get my dresses from Davids Bridal because of Charity. She genuinely cared and wanted to help me. Thats all anyone ever wants. Thank you Charity, from the bottom of my heart, you are the best!
My mom and I wondered in with no appointment on a very snowy day. The staff was delightful and happy to accommodate. Fortunately for us, the snow slowed down their regular appointments so they could fit us right in. They were fun and very supportive of my needs, an off the shelf, simple wedding dress for my second wedding. Haley spent the time pulling a range of dresses and asking just the right questions... she even pulled bridesmaids dresses to see if that style would be a better fit. In the less than 2 hours, we walked out with a perfectly fitted, off the rack, wedding dress that happened to be on a great sale.
So my first visit was me trying to find a dress. Which could NOT have happened without Lizzie. Shes amazing! Knew exactly what I wanted before I did. Highly recommend her. Then my second visit was to get the alterations done. Emily was the one helping me with that. She was patient and kind and able to do everything with skill and speed. These two are crucial team members in this store and you should ABSOLUTELY go see them!!!
I visited for an appointment on a Saturday and even though I arrived early, they were free and were able to start my appointment right when I arrived! I am trying to remember the name of the associate who did my session, I think her name started with Sh but I cant remember. She was a new employee and I really enjoyed her help finding dresses for me. Im going back for another appointment so I can show some dresses to my mom while shes in town, and maybe Ill see her again. I wanted to apply to a job at a Davids Bridal store and put her name as an employee who referred the job to me.
Cara helped me find my dress on Saturday 2/23/2019 and she was fantastic. She was engaging and took into consideration my thoughts and feels about how I felt in my dress, not just how my family felt. She helped me find the most precious dress for me. I am so thankful for the experience.THANK YOU CARA! You’re beautiful! ❤️
Lisa S was wonderful! She was double booked but I couldn’t even tell. She was super attentive and really helped my bridesmaids figure out what they needed. I’ll be back in the next few weeks with my other bridesmaids and I’m hopefully I get her again because she was THAT good!!!
My daughter came in today for her appt to find her Senior Prom dress. Morgan was amazing and we were able to find the perfect dress. Morgan listened to my daughter and helped her getting into some of the dresses (some were a little tricky). My daughter is over the moon with her dress and Morgan made it so much easier!!!!
I went to David’s Bridal in Kenwood twice this week looking for a wedding dress, and had a great experience both times. Joan was my consultant, and she was super friendly and helpful. I had some specific things that I wanted to include in my dress, for example putting color under the top layer of the dress, and Joan went out of her way to accommodate my requests, even if they were unusual. I found a dress I loved and Joan was able to schedule me a revisit appointment with her for two days later. Both times I went I was the only person there. I know that’s not typical, but it was nice! I got there early the second time and Joan was able to start the appointment early since she didn’t have anyone else before me. When I finally “said yes to the dress” they did a little bell ringing ceremony for me with all the other consultants too. It was very touching. The other consultants and the manager were all very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Joan!
Well after visiting this place multiple times I have found the perfect dress. With special thanks to none other than Crystal! Crystal was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable while giving her opinions regarding each dress that I tried on. She was very honest and extremely helpful each and every time I entered that store and or call the store. I don’t think I have every went into a store and have actually requested a certain individual. That’s how much I really appreciated her and the knowledge base that she brought to me and my team while shopping and making decisions for my special day regarding our dresses. Thanks A Bunch Crystal you are awesome! I really appreciate the time you took to deal with my difficult self and also for making my wedding dress shopping a wonderful experience. The service from start to finish was extremely attentive and professional. Lizzie was my consultant that helped me not only find my perfect dress but sized me as well to make sure my dress would fit me perfectly. What is normally a painful process was turned comfortable and seamless. I would recommend you find Lizzie if you want a nice and attentive consultant!
I FOUND MY DRESS AND DIDNT FEEL STRESSED!! Lemmy made me feel so comfortable and excited! This is the second dress fitting I’ve been to and I’ve already found the perfect dress. She made sure to listen to my requests and suggested things without being pushy. I’m SO thrilled! I Highly recommend this David’s bridal! They’re so friendly and helpful!
If I could rate zero stars, I would. Purchased two MOB dresses for my mom to try on. Upon purchase, I confirmed that I could return if neither worked. I was told that I had seven days to return. Both dress were too big for my mom. When trying to return to store, I was told that I was not able to return for refund because a manager was not present (I was not told this a manager must process refund at purchase). I was given the store managers schedule for the next several days, and my return window was extended two days. However, when I returned again, at I time I was told the manager would be present, I was not able to return. The manager was not present. I left the two dresses and a copy of the receipt and was told the store manager would call me the next morning to process return. at 7:30 p.m., having yet received a call, I called the store to request my refund. Was told that the manager didnt call because my name was not recorded with my phone number on the receipt copy. Why couldnt she call my number and identify herself?!? The manager on duty took my call and processed my return, but when I asked for a copy of the the return receipt to be mailed, I was told that the store did not provide stamps and they were unable to mail it to me. When I worked in retail management, I would have spent my own money to purchase one stamp and mail a receipt to a request client in a similar circumstance. I will never purchase anything from Davids Bridal again. Absolutely horrible service!!!!
My college roommate just got married, and I got my dress here. I purchased it here and got it altered here and everything. It was a really good experience. I was a bit nervous because all I had to go on from the bride was a fabric swatch, but they made the process so easy and were able to get the dress on time.The staff were all so nice and really helpful!
Had an appointment. When we arrived, they said help yourself. No one ever went to help us. We asked for help a couple times and we’re just pointed in a general area. One time we asked for assistance finding a dress someone else was wearing, she said it was a bridesmaid dress so it is on this half of the store. No additional assistance, even when asked.
I was extremely nervous to go and try on dresses as it can be overwhelming! But Lisa at store 205 was beyond amazing. She made the experience wonderful and easy and with ease I found my dress! Thank you Lisa for all your assistance. I didn’t feel like a client, I felt like family!
I loved my experience this morning at David’s! My stylist, Lizzie, was so super sweet. She made me feel beautiful. Lizzie was young, and so enthusiastic to help me. We were able to push & pull ideas off one another, and she made me feel at ease in my decision. I showed her a dress, and she found almost the perfect match for me. She made sure to go above & beyond. I am so glad she was able to help me say yes to the dress! Thank you, Lizzie!
After a not so great experience at a different location, I decided to give Davids bridal another shot at Kenwood. When I first arrived it was busy! But we were greeted right away and met our consultant Lyndsay. I told her the style I liked and she immediately pulled 5 dresses for me to try. One dress was too small so Lyndsay actually modeled it for me to see how it looked on. It was great to see someone who loves her job enough to go the extra mile for her clients. Throughout my two hours at Davids I found my perfect dress and definitely plan to come back and work with Lyndsay to find my bridesmaid dresses.
Today 2 of my bridesmaids went to pick out dresses and Davids Bridal was very helpful. They were able to tell us what we could get and when we would receive it by. We walked in with out an appointment and were able to get with a stylist with in a half hour. I would recommend to schedule an appointment to ensure everything goes smoothly, because they were very busy.One of my bridesmaids is from out of town and due to the fact that theyre a national chain it is very easy for us to coordinate the dress colors/ style across the country.They have a great selection of bridesmaids, mother of the bride/ groom dresses, as well as bridal gowns. We will be back to check out the other dresses later this week.
Great staff! They were friendly, efficient and honest. I didnt feel overwhelmed or pushed into a purchase like some bridal shops do. I will always come to them for my shopping needs. I am so happy to say I got my dress yesterday and Lemmy was so awesome!! She really listened to my needs and found me a absolutely beautiful dress!!
My experience was amazing! Cameron helped me find the perfect dress. I honestly couldn’t have done it without her, considering my dress was nothing I asked for when I first walked through the door. She had the perfect one in mind. All of the staff were amazing and so happy that I had found my dress!
Margo was great! It was my first time trying on dresses and I had no idea what I wanted. She helped me pick through different styles and knew exactly what dress to go for next based on what I liked or didnt like about the dress I had on. She was also nice and a great person so spend my first dress experience with. Davids Bridal is very affordable and so far has had plenty of options for me to choose from. I am going back for a follow up appointment this week.
Im late with my review, but last weekned I went to look for my wedding dress. An let me say Brit was amazing she made sure all my needs were meet and I found the perfect dress. She was very helpful and I went by myself and she made me feel so comfortable. Its like I knew her forever, I will be returning so she can help find my other dresses. I will recommend Brit to anyone who is trying to look for the perfect dress.
My bridesmaids were able to find dresses at an okay price, but our experience was lackluster. I don’t know if the stylist was tired towards the end of the day or upset that I (discreetly) brought my dress from another store to see how the bridesmaids dresses would look with it, but she didn’t do much except bring sizes. Since my bridesmaids are wearing different dresses in the same color and fabric, I thought the stylist would help direct us to styles that would work well for each bridesmaid or at least seem mildly interested in our appointment. We were the only ones in the store, so it wasn’t an issue of having other customers.
We had such a good experience today at David’s Bridal! The staff were BEYOND friendly and everyone was set on helping me find the perfect dress. They listened to what I wanted and my consultant brought me dresses she knew I was going to love. Nothing was brought to try on over my budget which made me feel like they really cared and weren’t just trying to get money out of me by bringing expensive dresses. We left with the third dress I tried on! The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because the in store sizing options of both dresses and under garnments was very limited for a plus size bride, but the staff more than makes up for any sizing short comings. Will definitely refer friends to this store and will be back for bridesmaid/mother of the bride dresses.
From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like I was the most important bride there. The staff was very helpful, listened to what I wanted, and never tried to push me to make a purchase. At my first appointment I was sure I found the dress I didnt buy it that day. A few weeks later I made another appointment to get my dress. When I arrived my maid of honor and both my mothers seen dresses they wanted me to try on. I ended up falling in love with a completely different dress. The amazing woman I was working with added some jewlery, a tiara, and a vail. Both my mothers and my MOH started to cry. I even got emotional. Everyone who was there stopped what they were doing and were in ah. Before saying yes I tried on my original dress again, just to be sure. I spoke privately with the woman I was working with and she helped me pick by asking me a few questions and telling me how I lit up in the second dress. She convinced me to buy the dress she knew we all loved, and it was MUCH cheaper than my original dress. She wasnt out to make a sale or huge commission. She genuinely wanted me to be happy with my choice. They all went above and beyond the whole time. Once I got everything ordered, my dress was in only 3 days later!!! My vail and tiara were right behind it. I hate strapless dresses and they even added straps to my dress for me. If you want a wonderful, pressure free experience, then Davids bridal is the place to go. My experience was more than I ever imagined it would be. I cannot thank them enough for making my experience one to remember. I even met a staff member whos as big of a Dave Matthews fan as I am!!! Huge bonus haha! ❤️

I just came back from an appointment at this location, and my experience was so great I wanted to give them a good review. :) Amanda was my consultant, she was so nice and friendly! My friend and her sisters are ordering our bridesmaid dresses online, but I wanted to be sure I got the right size so I decided to call for an appointment. I called the store and was able to set up an appointment for the same day. I didnt catch the receptionists name, but she was also very kind and helpful. The store had BOTH of the clearance dresses my friend is choosing between, which was great. Amanda was also kind enough to take my measurements so I had them for future reference. Definitely recommend!
My engagement was really short, so I made sure that the first thing I did was get a wedding dress. My first stop was Davids Bridal and it ended up being my only stop. I found a dress on clearance that fit me perfectly and I liked it so much that I didnt see any reason to visit the bridal district in Reading (which was a huge relief for me.) The associates did a great job helping me add touches to the dress and I got tons of compliments on it on my wedding day and pictures afterward. From helping me pick the dress to alterations, this store really did an awesome job at making me feel ready for our the big day.
Charity the manager and Maria the seamstress were AMAZING and professional since I first found my wedding dress! Never felt like I was a burden. They catered to me and answered all questions I had. I felt very welcomed and appreciated, even with a screaming 2yr old I had to bring, thank you!

2021-10-18My Mother, Daughter, and I went in to David’s Bridal Kenwood this past Sunday afternoon. We went to wedding dress shop for myself. From the online booking to the final purchase I was very impressed with the whole experience. We were greeted at the door and were told our stylist would be right over to meet with us. They let us start by looking at the sample dresses and Frances B (our stylist) came right over ready to work. I showed her a few things I liked and within 4 dresses she had me in my dream look. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Once we found the dress, I was able to switch gears and find a mother of the bride dress since my daughter is also getting married next year! So needless to say I’m so happy we came in! Thanks to David’s Bridal and MANY thanks to Frances B! I am very happy and can’t wait till September 2022

2022-05-25I went in for an alterations appointment this evening for a bridesmaids dress & Angela R was my seamstress who did my measurements. She was AMAZING!!!! Extremely sweet, friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I walked out of there with a smile on my face thanks to her :) not to mention I was shocked with how inexpensive everything ended up being. Thank you!!!

2022-03-15While I was afraid to go into a big box store to find my dress, I quickly realized that there is something for everyone at Davids Bridal. They will work with you to find the right dress for your style and budget. I worked with Fiona and have very fond memories of our experience finding my dress.HOT TIP: Absolutely use their cleaning and preservation process. I did some research and it is hands down the best and most affordable option out there! The whole process was super simple and I received my dress back quickly.

2021-11-09After an exhausting day of shopping around for a homecoming dress, my daughter and I walked into David’s Bridal as a last resort. Corey greeted us and took all of our cares away! He treated my daughter like a princess and let me set back and relax. We will definitely be going back to see Corey and the other staff at Kenwood again!

2021-09-14I went to Davids Bridal to try on three specific dresses. Jenny assisted me in the process. Jenny took her time and listened to what I was looking for as I tried on each dress. She went and selected a dress that I had previously looked at online but for whatever reason it real didnt appeal to me online. I tried on the dress sceptical if I would like the dress. When I did try the dress on I immediately fell in love with the dress and said yes to the dress Jenny selected for me.

2021-03-13When I initially went in to meet Emily it was just to try on a couple styles and get a feel of what I may want. Emily went above and beyond by taking little details that I liked from about 4 to 5 different dresses and found one dress that had everything that I loved. Also, I informed Emily of my dress budget as she manage to help me find the perfect dress $800 less than my budget. It can’t get any better than that. I don’t know how she does it but, she’s great at what she do. Emily was amazing and ensured that my experience was more than I could ever ask for. I will forever remember this day then I walked in and said YES to my dress with Emily by my side. Thanks Emily David’s Bridal is Lucky to have you and so was I.

2022-03-12My daughter had a bridal appointment, after checking in we looked around for over 20 minutes before Katie approached us. Every few minutes my daughter was left waiting while the stylist tended to someone else. Then instead of continuing to look for the right dress the stylist went through 5 dresses said good luck and went back to her other client. I am disgusted at the way were treated and dont recommend anyone going to this store.

2022-05-14Great experience with picking a bridesmaid dress and getting inital alternations. However, at my pickup appt I still had an issue with the chest area seams puckering. After they fixed it again, I still was not happy and pointed out that there was still one problem area. They readjusted the dress and told me no one would notice, even though they could tell I wasnt happy. I felt like they wanted to get me out of the door instead of fixing something I was still concerned with since it was close to closing. Im upset that my concerns were brushed off and I had to go home with alternations that I wasnt 100% satisfied with.

2021-04-07I found the PERFECT DRESS.!!!!! Thank you.!! I believe his name was andy at the one on montgomery rd.. Im not sure if thats his name but he went above and beyond.!!! I went in there with a budget of $800 and didnt think i had enough for my perfect dress. I left there with my dress, my tiara, my veil AND a bustier.!!! Just $10 over my budget.!!!! I was excited.!!!!
