Dave & Busters in other cities:
Way understaffed at this place. Bartenders had no sense of organization. Waited over 30 minutes to place a drink order while sitting at the bar. Bar was a mess itself but was forced to sit here because every single table in the building was filled with dirty plates/drink cups from previous customers. About 1/4 of the games didn’t work properly or at all. Would have enjoyed getting some food but the wait for drinks was already outrageous. Can’t imagine how long food would have taken. Would not recommend this location.
Server was great. The rest not so much. Definitely not what it used to be. Half the games were out of order. Food was mediocre at best. A child in our party accidentally spilled her drink, nobody came to clean up, server brought us extra napkins but the floor was a pond under and around our table.
The entire place was dirty but I have never seen a bathroom so dirty that my 4 year old would rather leave than use the facilities. Saw my waitress one time after ordering and that was when I hunted her down to tell her she took our food that we took one bite of ( we were gone from the table looking for a different bathroom that was cleaner which we never found ) he walked up to get tickets for the simulation ride the employees were arguing and completely ignored us for a good 5 minutes and then when we wanted tickets to write it again to girls wanted to sit there and talk about the drama that had occurred with the argument and we had to wait another 5 minutes for them to be done talking about that. The food is not worth the price you can tell everything is warmed up in a microwave. A quarter of the games werent even working and everything is just gross I dont know how else to explain it. I will say the one in Polaris was a lot cleaner than the one in Hilliard. I did not eat at the one in Polaris so I dont know how that food is so I cant comment on that.
Expensive but very fun. We go once a year for a birthday and always enjoy it. Unfortunately, this time our fun was overshadowed by finding our vehicle was broken into at 2pm broad day light close to the front door. My own fault for forgetting to lock the door. Ours wasnt the only one broken into.
I took my 5 yo son to a birthday party. I honestly didnt feel comfortable by leaving my son unattended running around with other kids. Maybe Im a paranoid father, but I stayed and supervised.EDIT: To D&B Customer Service: it would be nice if, during kids parties, you would restrict older crowds from entering the building. Grown ups, alcohol, dark ambiance, loud music and kids running around is not the best situation that I have in mind for my 5yo.
This place is a joke. The service is horrible. Last time we tried an eat there our food got lost.An last call was at midnight. An we tried to eat there again tonight an they did last call at 10:50. The only thing good about this place is there games. An half of them are usually broke. My kids love going there for the games but honestly this place is horrible. If I could give a no star rating I would. Oh an their bathrooms are atrocious. Absolutely disgusting.
Yesterday, I took my girlfriend to this Dave and Busters for a date night. We havent got out much since COVID so she was really excited to spend some time outside of the house. We had planned on playing some games and eating dinner after, but honestly, the experience was so poor that we ended up leaving without eating or even using all of our game credits. Ive been coming to Dave and Buster’s since I was a kid, but I think this will be my last time, at least at the Hilliard location. Im not sure if the others are better. Many of the games were out of order, much more than I have ever seen before. Two games worked but were still broken. The cornhole (or bag toss, not sure what its actually called) just took our credits but didnt deliver any bags. The Mario racing game wouldnt let me steer to the right. After that, I had enough. We left without eating. I feel like the $60 I spent on credits was stolen from me. Im sure D&B is having a labor shortage just like everyone else, but honestly, that experience just wasnt acceptable.I did also fill out a form on the D&B site. If anything comes of it Ill update here.Edit* I was issued a gift card refund for half my purchase. Im not sure if Ill ever go back to this location again, but I feel a little better about wasting the money.
Was on a date night with my wife and walked down to D&B from our hotel down the street. Spent about an hour burning through $70 in gaming credits before sitting down at the bar to order some appetizers and beers.Except instead of ordering, we sat there. And sat there. And sat there. Four other groups of people sat down in the bar area, had their orders taken, and were served their drinks while we were never once acknowledged. And its not like Im hard to miss, Im 64 and 300lbs. I was planning on spending a solid $100 after drinks and food. Im big, I hadnt eaten, it was late, and I was hungry. But instead after I was blatantly ignored I settled for a tall boy of miller and a bag of chips from the gas station down the street from my hotel.Great job guys, you managed to screw up selling beer and food to a drunk guy.
Was okay but many games don’t work if you want to play 2 player games. You can excuse a faulty machine but nearly half the games had this issue. Not many retro games. Mostly cash grab games. The kids were happy though. So an okay place overall, but some attention to equipment would make it better.
The only time we saw our waitress was when we sat down to show us the qr code on the table and to bring food to us. I ordered a coke w/ free refills but never got any cause she never came around. Had to find someone to get a box for take home food. We was having trouble w/ the app. Because of that we got two orders. But did get free fries. Was charged for both orders even when the waitress to the 2nd one back. I had to call corporate to get my refund for the second order. Ive never had this kind of trouble before from this specific restaurant.
Always a fun time at Dave and Busters. I like to go in Wednesdays as the games are half price.I like that they added actual Cornhole that you can play although I do miss the pool tables. They had a few games not working properly but you didnt realize until after you lost your points off of your card.
The bathrooms were trashed and every single toilet has trash in them and wouldn’t flush. waited for over an hour just for our drinks food was nasty. The whole building smelled like mildew and rotten food. Would not recommend going here way over priced for how it is should be like a dollar for how bad it was. I have a video of the bathrooms they were so bad it wasn’t funny. Talked to the manger and he said it’s not his fault. The staff didn’t want to work and only a few actually helped people
I wish I could say that the worst part of our experience coming here was the rude employee at the main desk and our waitress or the fact that a porta potty is cleaner than their bathrooms but I can’t. Within 5 minutes of being on the game floor we found a POWER drill left on one of the children games. No machine technicians in sight. No employees in sight. It was left on the part of the game that even the smallest/ youngest of children could reach. I WISH I had taken a photo. I took the power drill up to the desk and the manager just said oh wow thanks and I handed it to him. Like no big deal. No apology no explanation. A child could have easily picked that up like a toy gun (just like the games) and drilled a hole in their hand. If “no stars” was an option I would select it.
Can’t believe how bad this place has gotten. Service is terrible multiple tables littered with dirty dishes for hours. Atleast 12 games were completely out of order. And then just about every other game wasn’t working properly. Tried to speak to a manager about how multiple machines took points from the car but never started up but they couldn’t do anything for us. I would highly recommend never coming to this establishment I hope the other Dave and busters aren’t this bad.
I am so sad that they no longer offer the fettuccine Alfredo Steak and shrimp. A lot of the games seem to not be working. The big winning machine that was kind of the attraction of the place, Has broken for quite a while now.. Is pool tables are gone. And now severely overpriced, For the overall quality of games.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, but it took us about 45 minutes to get it and the service was subpar and flustered. A lot of the games were broken, although I will say there was still a decent variety of games. The AWFUL part was the BATHROOMS. 4 of the stalls were closed due to being out of order, and the entire bathroom AND gaming area surrounding the bathroom literally smelled like a zoo. There was also no toilet paper in any of the stalls. The prize area also didnt have that great of a selection. We still had a good time and made the most of it, because obviously, games are fun. But we definitely wouldnt come here again.
The reason I didnt give them 5 stars is.. 1. I wish all the games had been available to play and I wish the cards and coins were explained better for people who have never been there before (like me)... and 2. Their food is pretty pricey and pretty terrible with hardly a selection. There wasnt 1 thing food wise that was enjoyable and between me, my daughter and best friend there was plenty to try. Other than that I really had a nice time, the bathrooms were clean, Covid policies were displayed amd they had had plenty of masks and hand sanitizer all throughout the place. Our waitress was very nice and the bartender was extremely nice and helpful... wish I would have gotten his name. Id recommend this place and I will DEFINETLY return.
Its great to be back in Dave and Busters but oh how it has become more like Drunk and Busted. When you are amazed at the games be aware of the prices and watch out for all of the alcohol sitting on the games! The prizes are becoming more of third party Wish items that you can get for 99 cents. The nostalgia is there but the flooding urinals, trash everywhere, packed house literally elbow to elbows, and prices to play arent worth the trip. I drove an hour and was left sour.
Food was ok. Customer service was horrible. Was told by concierge to go to the boots and wait when Noone came I seated myself. Didnt get service for about 15 minutes, went to find server preparing napkins/silverware combo who then asked if I was ready to order. Once she came I wasnt sure on the drink and she begin to walk away when I asked where she was going to give me a second she then turned around to come back to the table. I asked her about menu items she had no knowledge of them or drinks. There was servers in back but none where up front for customer service.
First time here and pretty disappointed. The drink I had from the bar was good, and the games I did get to experience were fun but other than that everything else about the experience was poor. Over a 1/3 of the games were broken and the prizes are mostly cheap typical arcade stuff. The worst was the bathrooms… the smell was absolutely horrific and radiated almost across the whole gaming area. It honestly smelled like a giant sewage leak, it was disgusting. The bathrooms were poorly kept and dirty in general, most toilets weren’t flushed and stall doors were broken, and one stall completely out of order in the women’s.
So many broken and out of order games and one rude bartender. Dinner was fine. Our server was training a new person which caused our appetizer to show up rather late but everything was tasty and we were quite full. After dinner went to the arcade and found several games tagged as out of order or powered off. We had hoped to do the VR ride but it was closed all night. When we went to get refills from dinner the bartender made it very obvious that he was not trying to wait on us, literally turning his back to us making pointless small talk with bar patrons. Without getting into too much detail we were final able to get service and he was very rude and unprofessional, we assume because he didnt see any tip potential in serving restaurant customers. When I mentioned this on our way out management knew immediately whom we were talking about, calling him by name. Beyond the broken games and the hiccup at dinner this singular event ruined our experience. We did have fun and a good meal but one jerk spoiled it.
You have to order off the app and tip ahead of time. Then you never see your server again. I needed some more water and waited at the bar for 5 minutes. I saw a manager and asked for help. He told me the bartender would be back eventually. Poor bartender was doing everything for all the tables and the manager couldnt even help a customer. Pathetic!
Well... this experience was the worst I have had in a long time. The bathrooms were horrible and dirty. No paper towels and some of the sinks did not work. Now for the food.. the appetizer was probably the only descent thing we got but it didnt come out til our dinner did. We asked for the pizza to be well done. When it came to our table it was luke warm ( actually all of the food was luke warm) except for the navos, the pizza so floppy..far from what we had asked for. The chicken parm hardly had an sauce and the noodles on the side were bland and did not have any flavor it was almost like eating paste. The manager said he could get some more sauce but it would be 5 minutes for him to heat it up. Overpriced Chuck Cheese at best, you would be better off eating at a gas station and then go there to play games. If you cannot cook good food then take it off the menu and only offer what you can cook, from looking at other tables maybe hamburgers are that thing but I cant say.
We came here last night, Wednesday April 13th, for my birthday. The whole experience from start to finish was disappointing. They were not very busy and from what I could see our server had us and one other table. From sitting down to getting our food took almost two hours with no delay of our own. My nephew watched the whole shrek movie while we waited if that tells you anything. When our food finally came it was cold and my husband never got his fries or dipping sauce but we couldn’t tell the waiter bc he never came back until we were done. Finally we went to play games and quickly learned that a good part of them are broken or halfway work. Last but not least the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I would rather use a porta potty. Every single toilet had stuff in them or on the seat and the smell made me want to puke. The only credit I can give to this place is the bartender who went out of his way to make a special drink for me to make up for being out of mango purée. Our group of 6 spent at least $300 here last night that I wish we didn’t. Do better.
Food was horrible out of 9 people 5 burgers were ordered and all over cooked. The Philly steak sandwich bread was so hard. He let it soak in a dip for a few min couldnt get a fork through it. One of the burgers wete so burnt the carbroil was left on my childs mouth. Best part of that meal was the water. Ordered an drink and it literally came as the check was being laid down,, no thank you Games pricing wasnt bad, the kios machines were having issues
So disappointed in my trip today ! We go to Dave & busters about two three times a year an this trip was bad we got the package so we could spend a few hrs playing bc our twins love it . But when we got to game area it seems halfbthe games where either broken down or out of order . Not alot of fun 😢
Great time with our kids. It’s gotten a little pricier but still reasonable. We enjoyed the new Jurassic VR and it wasn’t too crowded. Only negative was that bathrooms were like mid-renovation and there were no changing tables/stations in either men or women’s bathrooms.
I went to speak to the Event Planner, Mackenzie...she was awesome. This location is clean, spacious, and the architecture details are beautiful. The games are current and exclusive to Dave and Busters. They use reloadable cards. The food was good. I had the chicken taco with nachos. Very flavorful. I recommend this place.
Very busy about a 35 to 45 minute wait around 5 on a Saturday. Cute drinks which obviously arent made to get you drunk. The price is pretty steep. Food wasnt all that good EXCEPT for the chicken nacho appetizer. A lot of the games are out of order. No deals on games and food after 5 so I ended up paying around $60 for about 2 hours of play( for two people), $70 for 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, and 4 of those cute drinks definitely a once in a while type of outing.
Dave and Busters is definitely doing their part in making sure their customers are safe. Hand sanitizer set out in numerous places for use and every other game is shut down to keep up with social distancing guidelines. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
I will update my rating to a 5. I went two days in a row. The first day (Friday when I made the review) several games were not operational. The next day I went in and most of those games were up and running. Plus the lovely lady at the register combined 12 cards for me. She showed no disinterest in helping out.
I have been to several Dave and Busters across the nation and this one is one of the worse I have ever seen. Lots of machines where out of order. The bar tenders are not really trained on how to handle high pace environments. Plus they where arguing with each other . I asked for a simple old fashion and the guy didnt know to make it at all , didnt even attempt to ask other bar tenders how to make it , he just continue mingling with other customers while the rest of the bar patrons where waiting for him to take cared if them , people left the bar after not being acknowledged for over 30 mins . I definitely will not be going back to this place
Dave and busters used to be an amazing experience. Its fun, but alot of the games can be played at your house. Also 3 out of the 7 coop games we tried to play had one player out of order. It was a very mediocre experience. Will try a different location, hopefully there will be more functional coop games. Also, not covid safe at all. Only daw 5 or so other people wearing masks once inside. If youre concerned about covid avoid this location.Edit: knocked it down from 3 stars due to lack of covid enforcement.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. I had a blast playing games with the grandkids, and for them to earn tokens. Lol The food was amazing, and our server was the best! The associate at the counter where you trade tokens for toys was very patient and quite helpful. Definitely cant wait to go back!
Customer service is always great, and the prizes are awesome as well. The games are super fun and diverse, maintenance on them could use some improvement. I recommend if possible to replace and/or shampoo the carpets consistently, as there is a lingering smell thats been there for a while. Will always come back and have never had a bad time here!
This is a nice place to go with the kids or even with a few friends to unwind with drinks and games. The food was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. There is plenty of things to do inside games, dinner, a few drinks or watch a game. that said the prices are quite high (especially after the plague) so dont go here and expect to get away with a low bill. this can be a turn off for a lot of families, but you get what you pay for. the experience is great but that comes with the cost. if you are a young couple and want a great place to go on a date, put the money down and take them here, I can promise youll have a great time.
Games were totally fun. Super nice break for the family. The on line menus were a pain to access. The food was kinda high priced. Is the only reason I left a star off. Well some games took payment and didnt play. That was kinda frustrating. However a lot of games we can play as a family unit. That was awesome.
It was super dead there the night my boyfriend and i decided to go out for a date night. the bar service kinda sucked. after getting our appetizers, we needed another few minutes to decide on what to order. well the bartender didnt come back for another 45 minutes before taking our order. the games were a blast tho. overall, i this this establishment could use a little shaping up, theyve gone far too corprate for my liking
Took forever for waitress to come over to our table. About half hour waitresses apologize . We asked see the Manager He was acting unconcerned. After we finally got our Orders taken and Our Food Served. Manager walked by our table several times. We had a large Birthday table of ppl. Manager never followed up to ask us was everything okay now. He totally ignored us. And never apologized. We were not happy about the Service or experience.
My kids loved the games. The selection for that was awesome. They definitely enjoyed them selves. However, the customer service for dining was terrible, had a party of 5.every booth was dirty. Then I asked a waitress how would seating work. She said its self seated in the game area. Waited 25 minutes for nothing. Not even a glass of water. Sitting in the car now looking up places to eat nearby. She cleared a booth and seated a gentleman and his family in which he came after us. Last time Ill go to this one. Ill drive to Polaris next time. Thanks for the disappointment.
This is a great Dave & Busters. I only gave 4 stars due to its not cheep to eat and play here. They normally have the newest arcade games for central Ohio if that matters to you and 95% of the games are working a majority of the time. I have gone about 5 times to this location. Last time in April 2017. Once a year on special occasion destination, different games each time. I wish they would bring back the table top Texas Holdem game. It was so fun! I would recommend if you got the money to spend. Example: 7 year old, me and the wife w 2 play cards got out alive for $95.00!
Arcade team is top notch. Also let our crew finish a DDR game as the store was overlapping the close time by 1 minute. No other location takes care of me playing my favorite games like this location and I will continue to visit here for the above and beyond customer service.
I took my family on a weekday after school, it wasnt packed. The employees were friendly, priced are reasonable. We sat at an open table to order food, which has the most ridiculous ordering process. You have to download an app to see the menu, but you cant order on the app you have to remember your order track down your server then tell them what you want 🤦♀️. Not very user friendly, my waiter was very nice poor guy was the only server and bartender around so he was trying his best. The food was great though and fresh. Over all we had fun.
My first time ever going to Dave And Busters. I really enjoyed myself. The workers were friendly and very helpful. The place was clean. The food was great and although packed at the bar/dining area the wait wasnt long and the food was fresh. Definitely cant wait to go again.
We visited Dave and busters and had a great time mainly because of the employee! His name was Paul and he is the man that worked on the Star Trek machine when it was jammed. We called him over 5 times to help us and not one time did he have a problem with it! (Sorry Paul, but thank you!) He is a great worker and we really appreciate his help! I hope he gets recognized for this! PAUL PAUL PAUL PAUL!#givepaularaise
We had never been to Dave & Buster’s prior to our visit on 9/14/21. Upon arrival the guy at the hostess stand in the front told us it was self seating. There was no other customers besides our party of six so we thought for sure the service for food would be fast and great being the only customers. That wasn’t the case. We seated ourselves and waited a good 20-30 minutes before the server eventually came over to inform us that we needed to order online & she specifically told us to do the cash option instead of paying online which was odd considering we wasn’t even planning to pay with cash. So by that point we had four bored kids that had been waiting for 30 minutes to play games. I told her I wanted three of the $23 game cards and she told me I would need to wait until I placed my food order, again that was odd seeing how the hostess guy told us upon arrival we could buy the game cards up front from him. I sent my husband up to buy the cards & immediately the server comes over with the three cards she previously told me I would get after completing the food order. Now we had 6 $23 game cards we didn’t need so I told her I didn’t need those and she told me we couldn’t return them. That was $138 plus tax just on game cards that I didn’t plan on spending. I had a budget of what we wanted to spend on games on top of the $94 food order for six people. We also ordered alcoholic beverages that tasted like kids juicy juice. I’m almost positive they didn’t contain any alcohol at all.The food was disgusting. We had to track down the server sitting at another table on her phone to ask for napkins, silverware & condiments. Not one time did we get drinks refilled but yet the receipt of over $250 suggested we tip this server $34 for her non existent service provided. Had I of known at the time there was a Polaris location we wouldn’t of went to the Hilliard location at all. Half the games took money off my kids cards and didn’t play & the games give hardly any tickets to win the overpriced items in the ticket shop. In conclusion, this was a one and done for us.
For as much money you have to pay to play you think the would have the games up and running , over half was out of order and the others ripped you off and said you used all of your turns when you wasnt even half way through them if you got to play the game at all, some just took your chips and left you high and dry.. the place rips people off and when you ask for help from the staff they never come.
Half-off Wednesdays is a great deal and it wasnt crowded which was nice. The bartender was friendly and the drinks are very very reasonably priced. Only complaints are 1) could not find hand sanitizer stations anywhere- is this not like the *one* place youd want/need/expect hand sanitizer to be literally everywhere during a pandemic?? And 2) about half the games did not work at all and ate our money.
Our 1st time to D&B . . . The food was delicious! My husband had the ribs and I had the Beastmode bacon cheeseburger. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The games were fun. The only reason I gave a so-so rating is because they had some of the dirtiest bathrooms Ive ever seen. Well go back, but PLEASE clean your bathroom and clear the toilets since some people just dont even know how to flush.
They wont clear the tables even when someone gets up... I then had to sit at the bar a man cleaned it off for me then left I told him I was ready to order ,he said give him one min. and he never came back.. another bartender ended up serving us.. he was excellent order our food correctly.. got our drinks in a timely manner and checked on us several times. We enjoyed the games. Just like an adult chuck e cheese.
Beer and cocktail selection is a bit limited, but its a good time. Chuck E. Cheese for adults.Update: about 30% of the games are out of order. Feels like they need to get it fixed up or itll go under within a couple years, and that sucks. Its my favorite location around town.
Food is always amazing. Service at the bar was so so.. one of the bartenders just kept walking by us and didnt serve us the whole time we were there and Everytime we went back up ?!? The one gentleman was always nice and helped us. The bathrooms are some of the dirtiest I have seen in a public place. They are gross.. please , keep up on those and half of the games you would have to swipe your card twice or three times for it to read and would take your money Everytime. . And half was out of order :/ we will go back but this place has amazing potential just needs more TLC
So we went there last week for my daughters birthday and had a lot of problems as in the lanyards we bought the kids didnt work, some games was down and a few others. She had fun regardless and we made the best of it. Well we went back today as a family thing and the same experience as last time. I dont mind paying good money for a family day as long as my money is put to good use. We are going to try another one next time as we all still have money on our cards. Have a blessed day all!
Service was horrible, half my order came out about 20 minutes apart. And by temperature of the fries and burger they food was probably all done at the same time, was not happy at all with the food, games were great. Not too expensive, but at close they didnt give chance to finish the coin pusher we put credits in, all the games were shut off and all credits were lost. Did not let this ruin our night, still enjoyed and will return, but hopefully our next visit is better
Id never been to thud particular D&Bs location before but it was pretty chill. Its out of the way and there surprisingly werent a lot of people there. Dont know if thats typical though. All of the food & drinks were great from the appetizers to the burgers to the summer drinks! Only gripe would be the last call for bar, food, games at barely pass 8 when you reportedly close at 10. Other than that, great time.
First of all this is absolutely the best place to have a birthday party. No reservations necessary and we have fit quite a few people in there before. Secondly, this business shows tremendous resilience in trying to stay open during covid.they are very diligent about cleaning games and basically following patrons around to clean games after them.Great job, keep up the good work
A bit crowded, and there was no where to sit and eat. All the self seating was taken by people who were not eating just sitting. Then when I asked about the other eating area I was told it would be about an hr. There multiple open spots but I guess they were reserved for other birthday parties. There already 3 going on. The games were okay feel like they are rigged, and the cocktails were good. The items you can buy when you redeem your tickets are a joke. They cost a lot of tickets for something you could buy at the store.
We were a party of two adults and one child. Soon as you walk in theres no one there to seat you, ask what youre there for. Eventually a young man came to a single register in this massive place(empty minus families and groups wandering around wondering what to do/how/where to start). The guy asked how much money we wanted on the card for games and pointed to a printout of dollar amounts. Nothing explaining what you get for this, how much the games are, just how much you can spend. You cant see the games to even know whats worth what. We threw $40 on a card for games and told him we wanted dinner also. He pointed down a corridor with a bar in the center, said we would be seated. There was no one to seat us so again youre left with other groups and families kinda wandering hoping to find an employee. That didnt happen. We sat ourselves at a table by the bar, and sat there, and sat there.. we stopped an employee eventually, who acted inconvenienced and said the bartender would be with us shortly. More time passes, while all the while our kid just wants to play the games. It took forty five minutes to get food on the table but only five min later to get the $60 check. The bartender asked us to leave our drinks because he works two jobs, was tired, and itd keep someone else from sitting there. Then we attempted to play games. What a mess!! Half didnt work. Turns out its credits you get for the money up front. We had a lot of credits until we realized each game, each round, was 5-10credits. So fifteen min later, outta credits, and the tickets you win are a joke. A $40 dollar pencil eraser or sticker. The whole experience was over rated and didnt deliver AT ALL! This wasnt a busy wkend this was literally a wed afternoon so no excuses! Dont waste your time or money! Might be a good place to get drunk.. still.. have my doubts!
Went to Dave and Busters this past Sunday and just like previous reviews they were understaffed and took forever to get to us. When we ordered food the menu is a joke. The food used to be so good so it makes me sad to see what has happened over the years. The food and drink menu is just basic, its the same things that youll get no matter where you go. The games were fun and my son enjoyed himself other than to play games I wouldnt recommend food.
Took my family there this evening and we had a lot of fun. Drinks were really pricey for what they were. But the food was good! My only major complaint is D and B has a mature atmosphere (alcohol, grown up games, etc) and the last time we went there their policies on kids being supervised were enforced. This evening there were small children like 5-7years old RUNNING amok unsupervised, dashing in front of adults heading to games, and SCREETCHING/ throwing fits. I was knocked into twice by children (and not even my own). It didn’t ruin the experience but made it less enjoyable for sure. It’s my understanding kids under 18 needed to be supervised by an adult 25 years or older at all times. Especially since it was busy. There was no one enforcing this policy, carding people or asking kids not to run around.
When I questioned pricing (an additional $3.25 for soda and $3.25 for fries after purchasing a kids “meal” which is apparently only the entree) the server got another lady instead of simply explaining the pricing. (maybe the manager? I have no clue who she was) She came up and aggressively stated that drinks aren’t free and I needed to pay the bill. Keep in mind I hadn’t even asked for anything, simply stated it would’ve been nice to know in advance that the kids “meal” didn’t include a drink or side. Food and service was mediocre at best and the response from the manager/PIC was downright rude. I will not be returning.
Very busy on Wednesdays when its half price games all day!Extensive menu, including calamari.Update-A bunch of games are hit or miss if theyre working, but the repair guys are working hard to keep em running. Cant knock em for a bunch of people beating up their equipment.
Service wasnt good in restaurant, had appetizers,no plates or napkins. asked for extra naps, had ribs, got them finally after dinner was served. The meal came at different times, the fries were not cook fully. Had to go to another table to get ketchup. My grand kids sat with no refills on drinks, during their meal. The server had 2 tables. We came in first a 6 top the other was a 4 top. The bathroom was disgusting, 4 of the 5 toliets on one side, wouldnt, even go in. Told the front desk about when first got there, after dinner went back and they were the same. Had not been cleaned. My grandkids took me here for my birthday. What a disappointment. Will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.
They have a new system with COVID(which I understand is difficult since I also work woth food) where you order on your phone and pay there and everything. However this means you cant get a drink or appetizer till youve placed your whole order. Then our server only came by with our food, not once to refill drinks or anything. Its a terrible system and it makes going here not a great experience, we were very unhappy and didnt even stay for the games.
Still a fun place to play and eat, though the menu is greatly reduced and some of my favorites are gone. I can highly recommend the voodoo pasta if you like a little bit of spice. Game cards are $3, though. Maybe Im too old but I remember when the game cards were free to get, and you only paid for the credits. But, they closed the shootout basketball 🏀 game for distancing. :(
Over all was good, kids had fun. Food taste great but out of 11 people with me I got the unlucky hair in my food. But the manager took only that food item off my bill. Not the plate. Could of done better because I couldnt eat the rest of my plate after that. But the games was good, kids all had the chance to play something. Only would go again for the games, if the food quality was better, and left out the hair, I would be back for it all. I felt like the bar gave better customer service than the waitress at the table and those inside the gift shop.
It was just fun. Some great friends(family) had their oldest sons birthday party there.Since when did Dave & Busters have the best fries Ive eaten in Ohio??😳😋 I had a blast playing games of all kindsbringing back love and nostalgia, but Im still thinking about those fries. Ill be back.Fill that card up and play with my basket of fries. If there was a designated spot where the games are to reload your card without running back to the front and waiting in that line, that would be great.
Gone here a few times in past years. The games are fun, the food is good, there’s a lot good about this place. However, my view on it just took a turn for worse. I just recently came again because a trampoline park me and my friend were supposed to go to closed half an hour after we got to it even though their website said it was open a lot longer (but I’m not salty or anything, actually who am I kidding, I am). We decided to go here and let me just say it was a different experience, and not in a good way. This primarily concerns the staff. I was walking with one of my friends and suddenly this one guy who worked there was behind me, and when I say that, I mean a few inches, and He was following me asking me if I had a mask and I said I did so He rudely told me to put it on and keep it on. This is quite ironic this guy clearly having no concern for my six foot bubble but yet is telling me to put a mask on. It wasn’t just him either, all the staff was being rude about it. I can understand putting up the signs in the front saying masks are required just so the place doesn’t get shut down but I’m sorry, I can’t have respect for a place that actually polices you on it, especially since I don’t care what you may think or believe, masks will NOT protect you from COVID-19 and if it were really as serious as everyone makes it out to be, then this place wouldn’t be open right now to begin with.
Food is great and games are fun. When I took my family, there was an hour wait for a table for 4. We wanted to package our meal with the power cards, but I had no way to keep the kids busy for an hour without spending money on power cards while we waited to eat. After being seated everything was great! Maybe just needs a little larger family eating area.
Understaffed, the staff we dealt with were rude including the manager Cody. Literally almost an hour to even be recognized for food or drink. Games are over priced but I wouldn’t have minded if the service was even decent. Will not return unless it gets taken over with new management. Wasted money.
Fun place for games, not for large groups to get food. No reservations, needed 75% of our group to be there before we could even get on the wait list to be seated, then we sat near the fireplace which was not on and poured frigid air onto half our group. By the time food came it was cold. Had a great time with the group I was with playing games and talking but poor service and experience from the actual restaurant part of the place.
I LOVE this place. My wife and I try to go a couple of times a year and make a whole day of it. Lunch, games, drinking, and dinner. Its about an hour drive for us so we really go all out. They have a lot of great games, amazing food, and delicious drinks. The last time we went there we were the first customers of the day. For the first half hour the system was down and wouldnt let them charge any cards. An employee gave us their personal card and showed us how to use it and still be able to add tickets to our old cards. That is a level of service that you sadly dont see much of these days. I dont care if they build a Dave & Buster directly next door to me I dont plan on ever not making the hour drive to this location.
After attempting to go to a few trampoline parks (that were at capacity ) with the kids for a Saturday evening we settled for Dave & Buster’s. I did think it was very overpriced. Each child has to get their own card, you can’t purchase a amount an split it between cards. For example I have 3 kids. Ages 10,10, & 2. I had to buy each one a card and load tokens on them separately. I think I spent more time in line than they did playing games.
Our family had the best time at the Birthday party. To stand back and watch all grandkids smiling was priceless. Hard to do with our age range 5-17. We also had so much food, we actually took some home for later. Which also never happens. Thank you to all that made our party so special.
My granddaughter and I spent two hours here and enjoyed it very much. It will cost a bit because it is easy to go from one game to another very quickly. It is clean and there is a restaurant there and a bar. Of course this is a place where children earn points on their card for every game they play and then can buy trinkets with their points. Lots of points are needed to get anything worthwhile but kids like it. Also, check the website for special deals.
Arrived and seated immediately at 6:05, which was nice. However, we ordered our food and didnt receive it until 7:20. We finished eating and waited for 15 minutes to find our waitress (I stood with my coat on holding my son until she finally came). She finally brought the bill and we paid in time to start playing games more than 2 hours after we arrived.Games were great, food was good, but dont go for food unless you have a couple hours to kill. Obvious service problems at this location on an empty Friday night.
Awesome as I remembered over 5 years ago, menu could have a few more items but for the people that have a hard time deciding, its just right, and apart from 1 machine down, all the machines were up and running in a socially safe manner (4 player games like Crusin Wild had 2 machines disabled for safety reasons)
We had the most amazing time. Emily our server was friendly, attentive and fun. The food was great. I had the triple bacon burger and my son had the drunk steak . The games were sensational. Id like to give a special thanks to Emily for making our first time at Dave and Busters fantastic. Thanks Dave and Busters.
As theyve updated and remolded I feel like there are more gamer games and less interactive games. I do love the new carnival themed games but disappointed they took out my favorite coin games. They have one station with a new set of coin game but definitely a different set up/way to play. My 5 year old had a blast and we played a lot of games for $40. The cards dont always read right or are confusing if it took it or not. The no paper tickets is much less wasteful and easier to keep track of but not nearly as exciting as a kid when you would get the excitement of them coming out or going to cash them in. I did find it confusing on where to check to see how many tickets were on your card and ended up just asking one of the girls at the register. The store is nice so your kids can shop and dont have to wait but some of the options are terrible (but arent they always) Overall very clean facility and lots of staff, even security. It was busy but we had a great time.
Great time! Fun arcade. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Expensive, mediocre at best and small portions. My advice is to eat somewhere else and go there to drink and play games. Thats what Ill do next time. Good service. They dont have the restaurant thing down yet.
The food seems to be okay these days. New menu here since my last visit. The service was really good. The waiter inexplicably gave us some unlimited game cards (only good for a subset of all games, but still very nice and the kids loved it).The game selection seems to be improving. Lots of variety now, and the Star Wars game has a Force Awakens level now.

2022-04-27So disappointing because this place is not cheap for food or games. When you come I. The people at the cou ter are on Their phones. Theyll help you but not initiated. When we sat down to eat. We were all given our foods at different times so didnt eat as a family. Irritated because waited 45-1 hour for our food just for it to be warm. Waitress wasnt really attentive. We had to call here every time we needed something not like shes coming to the table to see if we need anything. Machines kept breaking so good lunch finding help for your money back 😒... now I remember why I havent been here in 5 years. BTW Restroom were horrible 🚻!!!

2022-03-06Fun for all ages. Great place to feel like a kid again. Food was good. Their cocktails are nicely made with some impactful flavors. Nice staff. Parking available near the main entrance.

2022-03-03I brought my son here today, showed up as soon as the doors to celebrate his ninth birthday. The games were fun overall clean and functioning. The bartender, I didn’t catch her name ( long brown hair) was great but the waitress, just didn’t acknowledge us. Passed us ( a table of 4 people staring at her) three times, so finally i went asked the bartender if there was some place to sign up And she assured us all we had do was sit there, Again the waitresses didn’t acknowledge us but seem to be having a lot fun playing games directly in front of our table! Finally the bartender let her know that we would like food and she was apologetic said since I had a open Tab she thought we had already been taken Care of. I am unsure why she thinks four people would rather sit there and stare at her playing games then playing them themselves but it takes two seconds to ask.

2022-03-22Overall good experience. Didnt partake in the food/drink portion. The games were fun. Staff was actively reparing some games. We picked a decently non busy time to go. So it was nice to take our time and play. Not a huge selection of good things for younger kids to win. Was a good place for family time.

2022-03-06Got there and was informed of an hour and a half wait. No worries, play games during the wait. Almost a third of the games were out of order. Finally got the text saying my table was ready. Went to sit down and waited another 15 minutes for someone to come offer drinks and menus and then never saw another waitress or waiter again. Gathered my people and left. Terrible experience. But. The kids liked the games that did work so, barely 3 stars out of 5.

2022-05-28Me and my 3 children went here for a fun day out. Upon arrival, I was immediately called “pops” by the staff. When I told them to give me 3 game cards for my children, they told me “woah, calm down Epstein”

2022-02-13It was a fun place havent been in years. The food menu was rather stale ( but the food we did order and eat was good). The games was fun but rather high not worth the prices. The prizes are outrageous overly high and would be way cheaper to buy then win. Place was really clean. Atmosphere was cheery and we did feel safe.

2022-04-19Food is ok. The games are a blast. We had not been in a long time and there were some of our favorites that were no longer there! We still had a lot of fun and it was a great family friendly place to take the kids.My complaint is how long the line is at the front door. What is the point of it? We waited in the line to get a table only to find out we should have been in a different line. You cant get the mean + token option from the desk, you have to get it from your waiter. Super weird.

2021-12-05Was here for a bday party. Hadn’t been here for years and was surprised that it’s still popular. The games are cool. They have VR games that seem really cool (we didn’t do any but they looked cool). Friendly and attentive staff. My black and bleu flatbread pizza was really good. Husband said Cobb salad was really good. Beers were a little flat but still cold and good. The women’s bathroom was dated and a little grimy and the setup of the stalls was weird. Overall, I liked the large tvs, game selection, open and large floor plan, and the chance to play and have fun.

2021-12-30This was my first time actually in a Dave & Busters! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the choices available for appetizers and cocktails! We had to flag down the bartender to get drinks, but they were amazing once they arrived. My only complaint was there were quite a few games out of order! But overall, it was a great experience and I will go back again.
