Service terrible I keep telling myself stay away but I always try and give it another try!!! Needless to say never again and besides I find what I really want and they don’t accept credit cards just debit 😶 I just cannot!!! Display a notice or something so people don’t waste time and energy!
Great place to get hair at a decent price thats human hair. The girls in shop did my hair twice and did an awesome job. The bosses are nice and hilarious you will leave out smiling and laughing. I just dont like the area rough roads but its Cleveland lock your doors and watch the pot holes lol
They DO NOT Take credit cards. After wasting my time looking for my products I didnt find out until I was at the register. I asked him to hold my stuff until I returned but thought about the fact that I was being inconvenienced to spend MY MONEY! NO SIR NOT HAPPENING.
I was surprised of the very little inventory ( I guess thats everywhere). They need to thoroughly clean their shelves. Not dust them off, but clean them with soap, water and a disinfectant. A lot of dust on merchandise. Too much $ flowing in this establishment for it to be unkept. Customers deserve better.
The store stuffs’ customer service is terrible. Especially the guy named “Nelson” treat customers horrible, it’s obvious that he doesn’t think customers variable from the way he treat them. He doesn’t smile at all with nasty attitudes like he hates customers and this unprofessional behavior makes customers feel very uncomfortable. He acts like he doesn’t care about customers. They need to train stuffs how to treat customers or what customer service should be otherwise I never wanna go back to that store ever again just cuz his nasty attitude toward customers. He’s all wrong and he shouldn’t be working at the store if he doesn’t know what the customer services means and he doesn’t. Also, they don’t take credit cards, only cash or debit card it’s very inconvenient too!
I brought two wigs from here first wig he swear I maintained it wrong so I brought the second wig used the products he said to use the same hair products I used on the first wig and same results nappy hair in less then a month spent over 300$ on the wig for it to be nappy and none manageable he claims in order for the wig to not look nappy I have to constantly wet the wig in order to comb it with an de-tangled hair brush which I listened to first time he gave me the advice when I brought second wig which resulted In a week stay qt the hospital I will be sueing
I found something I liked and once I waited for assistance the man behind the counter was nice, however he asked someone else to help me and they were not. The gentleman was very rude and abrasive and quickly turned his back as if my money was not good enough for him. I immediately left and went to Remys and was immediately taken care of. Sorry they missed that quick hundred, but not really ... Oh well 🤔
I drive here, which Id further from my house because they have normally what Im looking for. But they didnt have it this time which will happen but I go up to the counter with what I have and when the gentleman rings me out it costs way more then normal. I asked him how much was each one. When he told me I asked when the price went up, he responds like 2 months ago, which I bought the product at the normal cost there 1 month previous. I left out and side note bought what I was looking for at the right price the next day some where else.
When theyre stocked, its amazing. But it could definitely be more open and organized. Quick on-the-go make-up selections are lacking and/or old and dusty looking. Actually most of the front is dusty and oddly placed. Great prices and friendly service abt 70% of the times you visit.
All prices should be displayed on all items so when you get to the register prices wont be made up. And if an item has a sticker on it that says $1.99 dont try to sell it for more some stores usually honor the price on the container especially if there are multiple containers with the same prices on them.
Dannys has a large selection of hair and beauty. Prices seems to be reasonable. The low rating is because a service of making a lace front wig more like your hair by cutting the lace, straps if need be and making baby hair was offered. The person did not do it right at all. I feel she took advantage of me since I wasnt knowledgeable on what should have happened. This is twice now as I bought weave(and it wasnt cheap) and it tangled up quickly, in a week. This isnt the place you want tho go to if you are not sure on what to get or want someone to help educate you about the products and such.
Amazing customer service. I stopped at Dannys to buy products because Im going natural. I wasnt too sure about what I was going to buy because I watched a few YouTube videos on people going natural. I was greeted once I came into the store and then I proceeded to shop when Moe asked if I needed any help. I told him that I was going natural and wasnt sure what I should get. I was hesitant about getting his opinion due to the fact we have different hair textures. But he was very knowledgeable about the products he carries and he wasnt just trying to make a sale he cares about helping customers and getting them what they need.
Up to this point Danny’s Hair and Beauty had performed a wonderful job providing my girlfriend the things she wanted or needed. Going into a beauty supply shop is not quite my cup of tea but I do it to make her happy and also provide the funding at the register.On this night she wanted to spice up our relationship by getting a nice wig at a rival beauty supply store but I suggested we go to Danny’s Hair and Beauty instead. And after she tried on a few wigs she finally found one that she and I both liked so I paid for the item while our young lady helper styled the item.I should state for the record that I was going to take a photo of my lady friend with my Canon camera but did not. As a matter of fact my battery was completely dead so the camera would not work even if I wanted.My idea of writing this review is to show that we the customer should not have to wait for people on their cellular phones to finish their conversations and then help us. HOWEVER it appears that the no cellular phone rule does not apply here; the Danny’s Hair and Beauty staff takes care of their personal business first. In this case the two cellular phone talking helpers stated that I took a photo of one of them (I wish I could have taken a picture of them on their cellular phones) but that was not the case here.Up front management stated that they work at the store but have no idea who the manager is and that he only comes in on Monday.Perhaps that is why the staff can treat customers with such disrespect because there is no one watching over the store.Final thought to the owner (whoever that is) is that perhaps you should run an ad in Craig’s list for some employees who can bear to be off their cellular phones to help customers.Hopefully the person who actually pays the bills will surface and settle this very upset customer who has taken time to vent with other perspective customers anywhere possible.
They have some good deals on hair but that hair that they sellin a clear bags behind your counter is not a hundred percent human hair. A cashier lie to me and tell me that it was,my advice if you are looking for a hundred percent human hair rather be Peruvian, Malaysian etc by its online do not pay for it in any store I like this because its not the real deal.
There was a worker a guy he had hand gun and was allowing a young girl who was also an employee to take pictures while holding it. He waited on my mom didnt greet her but yelled your welcome at her as we left. Im sure his gun makes him feel comfortable. Still your on E.C boarder. 👎
I heard so many good things about Dannie’s, so I decided to go. I purchased a lip gloss from Dannie’s. Once I got home I opened it and the application stick was broken. I kept my receipt and decided that the next time I was in the area I would exchange it. I worked down the street from Dannie’s today, so I went into the store and explained the situation. The young man behind the counter told me that he would not allow me to exchange my item because I didn’t have a receipt. I showed him the receipt and then he said he wouldn’t exchange the item because he thought I’d broken the application stick. He then said that he would not exchange the item because I purchased it 20 days ago. I explained to him that it’s very rare that I’m in the area. I explained that I didn’t want my money back, I just wanted a lip gloss that did not have a broken application stick. Needless to say he would not allow an exchange. I’ve worked in retail before. In this type of situation, the product should be “damaged out” and the customer given an exchange. Due to this experience, I will not patronize Dannie’s. I’m also going to share my experience with all the people I know. Beware of prouducts purchased from Dannie’s! They may already be broken when you purchase them!!!!
I honestly dont know how anyone would rate this store good. When I go into the store I never get help. There attitudes is always impatient and rude. If I could the store would get no stars bad neighborhood,not a helpful staff, and just overall a uncomfortable atmosphere for someone who just wants hair . But hey thats my opioion.
My favorite hair store Ive been coming to Dannys for years. Its nice to see that they constantly update the store; it shows they care how they present themselves to customers. Ive been to other stores in the area where they have deadlights broken ceiling something wrong with the flooring for years and never fix it.
Prom is tomorrow and I bought a pack of hair last night that the sales associate said I shouldnt get because it was packaged wrong me thinking that was the only thing wrong with it and it was the only color available that I needed I bought it. I dont wear weave so I didnt know what to look for but when I got it to the hairdresser she said it not only was packaged wrong it was picked through so I called immediately and the guy Mookie said were closing in a minute so bring it back tomorrow I asked his name and said I didnt want any problems bringing it back he said thered be no problem just ask for him....I come in today he gave me the hardest time and tried to convince me it wasnt him I spoke to someone else mustve just said his name he looked on the camera and said he couldnt see if I manipulated the hair and only offered half of the $26 back and said his associate said she warned me about the hair ok well take the bad product off of the floor and refund me its called customer service
They are over charging people thinking because its tax time we dont pay attention.Please if you go into this store watch what they charge you for.The customer service is terrible.But in 222nd there is a better hair store with lovely people honest people shall I say.I been a customer for years and I will never return again ever......they are stealing our money and thinking its a joke.....evil evil I tell ya
Okay so the day school started, I went to Dannys because my friend had just purchased from them and her hair was REALLY cute. So I decided to go to them and get the same hair, it was 7 PC Malaysian body wave hair for $21.00. I thought it was an EXCELLENT deal! But I should have done research on that hair. I ended up getting a sew in with the hair and my experience was TERRIBLE! It tangled really bad, the hair was crunchy after a while, the curls fell and never retained, and when my auntie tried to style it the hair burned a little bit in her flat irons. That hair is supposed to be used as a wig, just be careful with which hair you buy. They lied to me about that hair. So just do your research and know what you are going to buy.
They was thirsty I bought back a wig that was still fully intact,lace attached had purchased 2hrs.earlier all of the packing was there and everything,the owner tried to say he smelled someones scalp that was a lie the wig smelled like a new wig , all I wanted was an exchange or either store credit they didnt offer either one and one of his employees knew I was a regular and she stood there looking simple and said nothing
The tall guy behind the counter with the nice busy beard has the best customer service I’ve seen he’s a very polite young man and I would recommend this place to my friends and family and to all those looking for a good hair store where you will feel appreciated and welcomed by a very good staff of girls
This hair store is located in an urban community very large selections or products to choose from staff is helpful they also provide personalized services such as eyelash extensions ponytail adjustments Etc. The only complained I may have regarding this facility is that the products are very expensive.
I cant stand the fact that no one helps you find your hair....or eithe they just dont what where it is terrible.... customer service sucks....it didnt used to be this way.Now as far as having the product they have you just have to search around while everyone laughs at you.
Gr8 place to buy hair and products.....but the young ladies whose there to provide service to customers are sometimes RUDE and CONFRONTATIONAL.....Their always on their phones and talk to you with ATTITUDE. .ALSO they dont seem to know much about products or hair they sell....finally they dont always have colors or brands consumers want....

2022-04-21I love this hair store!! The staff is Kool and the manager is funny! I found what I was looking for and affordable. I didnt get a chance to look around the whole store because I was in a rush but I will definitely be going back.

2022-03-20This place is horrible!!! I spent $143.00 on hair that needed for braids I got to the braider and she said the hair was dry rotted!!!! I returned the hair thsy refused to give me my money back they offered me a in store credit which I wanted nothing to do with I was furious 😠 😡 so take my advice and NEVER GO TO THIS HAIR STORE THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.
