How they stay in business is absolutely amazing to me. They dont answer a phone call from providers or patients. You can complain by mail, not email, but postal service. If you get frustrated enough to stop in, you might be able to talk with a person, but all youll get is a blank stare. You can try and explain what you want, but this business model is for them to be just stupid enough behind the counter that youll just give up and go away. You can let them know it worked with me.
Stopped by today to exchange some make-up because I had purchased the wrong color of foundation. I have had to do this in the past, but had never been to this location. I told Elaine that I had to do an exchange because I have makeup of the wrong color, but I didnt have a paper copy of the receipt (my account is automatically set to sending my receipts to my email instead of having them printed out). Elaine looked me up and down, and as someone who has worked plenty of retail jobs, I am very aware of the fact that she mistakenly thought I was trying to pull a fast one. Especially because I didnt have a *paper* receipt. I told Elaine I got the makeup at the CVS on North High street. She didnt believe me, and said that CVS doesnt even carry the product (she is wrong). She kept leaning on the fact that receipts are necessary for exchanges but as a loyal customer to CVS I KNOW this isnt the case. A return? Definitely. But an exchange? Not necessary. In the end she argued with me about whether I had gotten the product at a CVS at all, and said she wouldnt help me. Well, I have the receipt pulled up right now! It is indeed in my email. Then she walked away from me, saying something to the effect of You can go somewhere else and try.Ill attach a copy of the receipt so Elaine can learn a little about CVSs inventory, and now Ill take myself to another CVS. :)
I always have a great experience at this CVS, whether its the store or the pharmacy. They always greet me with smiles, they courteous, and always so helpful. I coupon, so I visit there a lot and they never treat me with disdain or like Im aggravating (although I can be trying at times because the coupons can be complicated).
The whole staff is outstanding, despite the Southside clientle of shoplifters. CVS needs to step it up and get some security in there for employee safety. Im a couponer so the patience of the staff is great. Everyone from pharmacy to cashiers. And Jimmy the manager does am excellent job!!
Are we here to torture people? My daughter waited 30 minutes to pick up a prescription she called in 3 days ago. She was handed a piece of paper that said she was not covered for insurance, with no other explanations. Just handed the paper and they were done with her! Turns out they put in the wrong codes and spelled her name wrong. This couldve been brought to their attention if they had tried to actually converse with her. By the time I went back to address the issue, they were closed. So I went over to Walgreens across the street and got her meds, while the Pharmacist there stayed 10 minutes late to help me. Way to alienate your customers CVS. Or should I say former Customers!
Went into the store looking for specific pink white chocolate Reeses cups. As they are my wifes favourite for Valentines day. Unfortunately the store had none , so I left. As sitting in my car texting my wife I was going to try the Walgreens close by . A lady walked out wrote my licence plate down . I found this strange so walked back in to see if there was a problem I could help with . The lady/manager threw her hand up and said Im calling the police you can leave . I turn and ask the cashier was this about me and the cashier conformed in fact it was . I said oh ok . Well id like to know whats going on to see if I can resolve it . I thought maybe their was a police in place not being able to wear a hoodie inside the store ( even though hood was off) or something eles . Well police come let me know the lady says she saw me take a pack of candy . I laugh at the ignorance that this lady is truly showing . I tell the nice officer to go check security footage or whatever he needs to do , she has done wasted my entire lunch anyways so Ill wait . He comes back says there is a misunderstanding and apologized for the inconvenience as in fact she saw wrong apparently ? I say it is no problem and ask if she would like to come apologize for wasting my time , embarasment , as other shoppers I see everyday go by . Of course the lady didnt want to own up to her mistake and just had the officer apologize for her complete and total ignorance . Used to be a daily shopper . I asked for the store manager name and number , they gave me the pharmacy number ? Now I must email corporate about their incompetent employee and the embarasment it caused. Will never step foot in another CVS, nor will any family members or friends . This was on South High Street in Columbus OH. The awful part it if she had just owned up that she made a mistake, and profiled individuals and discriminated against them , and apologized I would have let it go . Never again . Worst store ever. Also her name was Donna Brsrv? She scribbled her last name I guess in the hopes corporate and the store manager wont know who she is . Worst ever.
The staff is very incompetent. I have had prescriptions missing thru the drive thru. I have had 90 day prescription filled for only 30 days. I was sent by doctor for Zoster shot. I called in..sure, come in anytime. Upon arrival was told cant get shot at age 64. Then that was corrected and was told Medicaid doesnt cover without authorization. Doctor called, Gentleman (only pharmacutical representative of a professional and knowledgeable of job) told doctor that there is no such thing and I can come in anytime. Returned call to CVS..they didnt know why I got call. Asked if in regards to Zoster shot...just got call from my doctor. I was told yes. Asked for refill on 1 prescription and shot. Was told to come in anytime in afternoon for both. Upon arrival was told out of shot..they had given 3 shots for that day earlier? Yet I called..plus I have to use a walker.
It never fails to take a ridiculous amount of time to fill the simplest precipitations. This CVS has to be the worst of them all.You can ask what time it will be ready, show up after the designated time and they still wont have it ready. Sitting with a sick kid, waiting for a prescription is asinine.
I’ve been going here since it opened and now I’m leaving. They just got Bridgewaters business. And it’s obvious they can’t handle it.Even have the Bridgewater owner working there and he’s the reason I stopped going to Bridgewater.Put in my prescription at 915 am and it got filled at 535 pm. Ridiculous!!!
I have never been more disrespected, in my life until I walked into this minute clinic asking for help with a minor head cold, I need a note from a doctor to return to work, some tall skinny very rude nerd, was so rude and disrespectful he should not be working for that company I will do everything I can to ensure he get fired, they advertise 89.00$ to be seen he tried to over charge me, and was being very rude about it.

2022-02-28I was only in this store twice. The first time was ok. The second time was ok but all of a sudden I am being charged 5 bucks a month for something I didnt sign up for. I called the store and got the runaround. She gave me a phone number to call to cancel the subscription. I called and it was totally automated. Just for selling stuff. So I had to call my bank and reverse the charges. My card wont work there anymore so I am never going back.

2022-06-28The pharmacist at this CVS is terrible. He refused to use a prescription discount card that other CVS pharmacies have used for me multiple times in the past, which ended up costing me about $50 more for my prescription. When I asked him why he said its against company policy to use them, which is a lie (I called their corporate office and another CVS to verify). Unfortunately I couldnt transfer the prescription, otherwise I would have gone to a different pharmacy. Ill never use this CVS location ever again!

2022-01-09This place used to be decent but they have quickly gone down hill lately and after today of them being lazy and rude I have had enough of their attitudes. Every time they call me about a prescription being ready it never is. They called me two days ago and said my stuff was ready and when I got there today it wasn’t even started. I will now take all of my pharmacy business to Walmart where they are so much faster and friendly.

2021-10-18The pharmacy is horrible. While waiting for my medicine i saw a girl pushing pills into a bottle loader with her bare hands. Then was told my medicine wasnt covered, then was told my doctor didnt send in the script. After calling my doctor and insurance (insurance called the store said she waited over an hour and a half and no one answered the phone) we decided to move pharmacys to a different franchise. Out of all the cvss Ive done business with this by far is the absolute worst. Corporate needs to investigate this store.

2021-11-10I get that that there are shortages of people wanting to work, but you are in the healthcare business so maybe you need to step up and do what you need to do to get more workers. We depend on these medications. My dr phoned in a pain script days before my surgery, your voice prompt said it was being processed, but now I find that you do not have in stock. And I had to call you and sit on hold for 30+ minutes to find this out and the script cannot be transferred so I have to call dr to get transferred to another pharmacy and am sitting here in pain.

2021-09-28I’d give no stars. There couldn’t possibly be a worse pharmacy. They never answer the phone, they never have my Rx on time, if at all because they be out of stock. They told me a few days ago that they were 2,000 rx behind , which why is that my problem? I often have to go days lapsing on my prescriptions because they are slow. CVS has gone downhill as a whole .

2021-10-03This is the worst place to deal with for a pharmacy. I’ve never had a good experience at this place. Today after holding for 30 min I was told they would finally rush my prescription that was called in 4 days earlier. They had an auto dialer call later to say the meds I needed today won’t be in and to call for assistance. I held for the pharmacy for over an hour before I got so frustrated I hung up.

2021-09-17Been coming here for years but recently its been bad . They lost my wifes prescription and can only apologize, never in my life have I heard of a pharmacy losing a prescription. We paid extra to have our prescriptions delivered to us and then for some reason they only shipped half of them. This place has gone downhill. Im switching my family to Walgreens.

2021-08-21Store hours are supposed to be until 9 but there is a handwritten note taped up that theyre closed at 6 on weekends. This wasnt something known because there were about 9 other cars in the parking lot trying to get in. Do better CVS!!!! People need things.

2021-08-17Please give the pharmacist lady who worked the night of 08/16/2021 all by herself a raise! I felt so bad that she had to work the drive thru and the counter all by herself when the lines were really really long. She did it all with a smile on her face and a kind voice! Good job!!
