I attended CVCA from 7th-12th grade and I had a really good experience. Teachers and faculty did an excellent job preparing me for college and I appreciate the work that they do. I not only grew in my relationship with the Lord but gained many friends and experience in the world of ministry and business.
My child goes to CVCA and we are all very happy with the educational experience and highly recommend this school for a valuable Christ-centered education. All private schools are expensive, but CVCA is not crazy-expensive. I would say the tuition cost is reasonable and appropriate, and a good value. The smaller size of the school gives everyone the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities.I know many adults that went to CVCA and they are all normal, successful people. That is what I wanted for my child. My child loves going to CVCA. I highly recommend checking it out to see if it is a good fit for your child. Go to an open house. Talk to the staff. And most importantly, talk to some former students.I wish I could have gone to CVCA when I was young!
My son attended CVCA from 6th grade 11th grade and was kicked out for contraband found in his car end of Junior year. He was tossed out and never given a second thought. So much for Forgivess and second chances🤷🏽♀️ He was diagnosed with bipolar 1 that year and unfortunately ended up getting his GED and never graduated from any high school 🤬 What a huge waste of money we paid !!!!!! Still sore over this and disgusted with this school because they certainly didn’t care about my son.
If I could rate the 0/5 I would. I attended cvca from 8th-12th grade and graduated this year. The admission is engaged in bribery and extortion in the highest degree. There have been multiple cases of students violating other students and a sum of hush money being paid to sweep it under the rug. This school cares nothing for the students and knows absolutely nothing about what actual Christianity is about. Run as far and as fast as you can. The only silver lining is the robotics program. Good luck future cvca students youre going to need it. Almost a hundred thousand dollars wasted so that the administration can drive fancy cars
What began as a chance visit to a CVCA Open House opened up to an amazing experience for both of our daughters! Throughout the last seven years, CVCA has effectively curated an intense love of Christ and a heart for serving others in our girls. The intentionality and care of the staff has proven to be just what our family needed over and over again as “life happened”. Culturally aware, academically challenging, and mission-minded…these are three phrases that come to mind as I reflect on this institution of learning.
We love CVCA! Our third child (and youngest) will soon graduate and well be sad that our time there is finished. So many of the teachers go above and beyond to build into their students, show them value and set great examples for them. Weve been impressed with the academic rigor and integration of a Biblical worldview. We are grateful our kids have had the opportunity to be Royals!
The Teacher our Amazing! My daughter HadA concussion! They help get caught up !She straight A’s student (I can’t tell you how great the school is ! if you’re a true Christ follower then you’ll love the school!Teacher go above and beyond to help these kids more than any public school I’ve ever seen! They Love there Kids plus ours!!
This school was where I learned how to follow Christ in every aspect of my life. I can’t tell you how many times the teachers around me showed me that they cared for my academics but more importantly, they cared for me as a person. I was given so many opportunities to soak up truth and pursue subjects that interested me like Graphic Design, Art, and Ministry. Cvca really did prepare me for the spiritual challenges, academics and joys of College. I am so grateful for this school!
You drove out my little sisters favorite teacher because you made him switch rooms, even though he spent almost 3 years building a train set around the ceiling in that room because he likes trains. he quit because you didnt let him keep his trains. let the man have his trains. #arida4life
Can’t tell you how many times I or a friend found hair in the cafeteria foodMany teachers don’t care about youthere is favoritism towards students who have parents that donate $$ to the school (academically and in sports)Outdated thinking and a lack of diversityTeachers change grades to make athletes eligible for sportsBasically every year tuition goes up yet we get less (adding a sixth grace and taking more limited space away)10/10 would not recommend

2022-06-21My son transferred here mid-year and has had an amazing experience. He likes his teachers and enjoys his classes and the new friends he has made. We love the wide variety of activities available from academics to the arts and sports. Every coach and teacher Ive ever observed here is so intentional in their interactions. It is clear they love these students and Jesus… and have excellence in the education, character, and spiritual development of their students as a goal.

2022-06-29CVCA has been a WONDERFUL school for my 3 kids. Each year there has been teachers who have gone above and beyond to invest in them! We love the j-term/m-term trips they offer. They have been very memorable experiences with their classmates and grew from those trips! Both of my girls are thinking of medicine so we have taken advantage of their School of Distinction. CVCA has given my kids a really positive middle school and high school experience. I am grateful we tried out the school to see if it was a good fit for our family. We have been very happy there!

2022-06-22Our experience at CVCA has been outstanding. The teachers and staff go above and beyond for students and their families. There are so many opportunities provided for academic and spiritual growth, as well as opportunities for parents to get involved. Volunteering has allowed me to see and experience the hard work and effort the teachers and staff put forth for their students, and the passion that drives them. The teachers are passionate about what they teach, and they are passionate about Christ. The positive changes we have seen in our child have been nothing short of amazing and I attribute that to the positive, Christ-centered environment they strive to create at CVCA.

2022-06-27We are grateful for the top notch education our children are receiving at CVCA. There are so many opportunities for our children here. We are also grateful for teacher and administrative support. With four children attending CVCA, we have appreciated the teachers’ willingness to invest academically as well as in shaping our children’s character. Teachers who take the time to enthusiastically encourage the positive they see in our children, yet also invest in respectfully shaping the areas that are still maturing. And, this instructing is provided through the lens of giving honor and glory to Jesus in all we do.

2022-06-21CVCA is the best private school in the area. The staff and teachers really put all their effort and love in what they do. They are very devoted and helpful. The academic and social support that all of my three children get here is excellent. My kids truly enjoy going to school every day. We are blessed to be a part of the CVCA community.

2022-06-24From our first phone calls and visits as a prospective family through the end of our first year with a student enrolled in the school, we have been continually impressed and blessed with interactions with administration and faculty. As parents, we are most grateful for the integration of the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus into academics and practice, the contagious enthusiasm of great teachers, and the consistent communication to us from both teachers and administration. Our student has been most impacted by fantasic classroom, social and chapel experiences, the challenging and engaging football program, and the excellent theater department. The academic and extracurricular opportunities for students to learn, grow and excel are abundant, allowing them to discover and develop their unique interests and gifts. Our family is so thankful for CVCA!

2022-06-27CVCA was an amazing place for our two daughters that graduated in 2020 & 2022 as well as our son that is currently a student. The leadership is outstanding & the staff & teachers have been wonderful, Godly men & women that have made a huge impact on the lives of our children. We have also been very grateful for the coaches & the Royal Theater staff that have invested in our kids. The best testimony I can give any perspective parent is that our oldest who has attended two years at a public college tells us she plans to send her children to CVCA. In addition the schools of distinction (specifically SOBE) have given our two daughters opportunities in high school that set them far ahead of their peers at the collegiate level.

2022-06-30I am so grateful to have found CVCA, they provide students and their family’s such support and loving guidance. The curriculum is very academically challenging but offers so much more, a spiritual second home. I look forward to being a part of CVCA family for the rest of my son’s middle school and high school years!

2022-07-05We are so blessed to have our son at CVCA! He has been a student at CVCA since sixth grade, and is now entering ninth grade. Through the multiple opportunities available at CVCA, our son has participated in activities as diverse as robotics, basketball, the spring musical in the pit orchestra, and is planning on football and baseball this coming year! We are so thankful for this range of activities, just to name a very few! The elective options such as orchestra and Chinese are fulfilling, meaningful and offer unique experiences. Our son has benefitted in that so many have and do give him the opportunity to interact with older students. We really appreciate all the academic options as well. Even though Chinese is no longer a class option, CVCA worked with us to provide an option and time during the day for him to pursue this next year. The teachers, coaches, and staff are readily and promptly available to give input throughout the year regarding not only their class/specialty, but also future planning and praying for our son and family consistently. They have routinely made great observations and demonstrated consistent knowledge of our son, his skills and personality that show their attention to each student and desire to see each student become more like Christ in all aspects of their lives. We have a 40 minute commute to CVCA, but we feel the benefits have been worth it already in meeting and striving toward the mission of educating and cultivating our son and the CVCA students as servants for Christ.

2022-06-22I am eternally grateful for the excellent Christian world-view education all three of my kids have received through CVCA. Its wonderful to know that each one of my kids had teachers/staff that truly cared about them and prayed over them. They also had coaches that poured into them and cared just as much, if not more, about their spiritual and emotional growth and development as their performance. I also truly appreciate CVCAs Schools of Distinction programs and college prep education that gave them a jump start in exploring their career interests and truly prepared them for college. Thankful for the impact CVCA has made to strengthen their faith/relationship with God and prepare them for life in the real world.
