Very slow lines ,no chairs to sit in,and the staff is very friendly but stand around a lot and talk. They need to also take back more people when they can.

Absolutely ridiculous! They close at 6:30 🤦♀️ the lines are even longer now...PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO 8:00
The absolute slowest lines. Ever. They prefer to stand and talk to one another rather than do their jobs. And they are more concerned with having an easy cleaning day rather than open another bay to move the +20 person line.
Very nice staff ready and willing to help you out answer any of your questions a clean facility a very awesome place to donate!
Not worth the 3-4 hour waits. Employees stand around chatting. Hire some people!! A bunch of people in the center and half the beds are not occupied. Terrible. I like the $60 payday, but, I doubt I will be back to this location.
Husband can donate and he likes it. I on the other hand cant but glad they found that out within 10 mins of me being there instead of being in the long line and being told no.
Ive been donating here for about 2 years. Clean and fast. Friendly staff. However they recently mandated face masks (they hand them out at the door). If youve no problem with a mask, its a good place. However I wont be returning until the mask policy is changed.
Update:I originally posted a negative comment out of frustration due to a staffing issue in regards to the Canton CSL location. I always try to address negative feedback directly as ranting online forums rarely produce any response but was unsure how to in this situation. I want to say, the manager of the location reached out to me personally within 24hrs to apologize for any inconvenience I may have experienced. She was readily available to listen to my concerns in hopes of ensuring every one of their donors has the best experience possible and made to feel their contribution is appreciated.The staff at the center has always treated me with kindness, and always appear to be doing the best they can. This facility is still newer to the area, and however may be currently understaffed on certain days.With that being said... I must say, for a manager to personally reach out to a disgruntled donor leads me to believe she cares for the company she works for, and takes great pride in her location. I believe she is truthful in saying they are currently working to adequately train new staff to better accommodate the current and new donors of the community. Along with her ambition, the compassion she expressed while referring to her current and upcoming staff I whole heartedly believe she will do exactly that.So I encourage any of you reading this, if you have any questions or concerns, or even suggestions... this facility is staffed by some super caring and professional people.. Reach out to them directly in a respectful manner because I was beyond impressed and walked away more than proud to be a donor with CSL.God bless 😊
Today I went to donate plasma for the first time ever. The whole experience was great, and I was very comfortable with all the staff. Unfortunately, I had to stop part way through because I ended up getting sick not only all over myself but on the two nicest nurses. 🤦♀️🥺 they took such good care of me. I couldnt stop apologizing, and even after being so embarrassed they told me not to be discouraged. They told me what will help to make sure this doesnt happen again. Thank you ladies for being so understanding. ❤️

Donor floor staff is really nice to me and are passionate about Their work. Their manager Reanna is never seems to be happy to be helping on the floor and talks badly with vulgar language about the center with other employees in front of donors. Unprofessional and was dismissive with me on my last visit.I only come back for the staff and their excellent customer service!They need new management that is passionate and cares for employees and donors
Fast easy friendly service. Money adds up fast.Update:Good people work here! Good service. I have made over $2400 since I started donating in August. Great way to get extra money and help people who need medicines! The general Manager is fantastic and fair! I think her name is Jenny?
Some staff are very friendly and helpful but lately it seems they just hire anybody due to the fact nobody wants to show up to work or stay there. And the new people they hire cannot properly stick you. It always hurts but if I say anything Im afraid I will be disconnected and not get the compensation and me and my fiance drive all the way up from New Philadelphia in Tuscarawas county
For the most part everyone is great accept one employee in particular. She is very rude and rolled her eyes when I was just making small talk to take the focus off of the needle. But she was very friendly to men. Another time I was there and an employee put gloves on, then touched her hair with both hands and then went to a donor and injected them WITHOUT CHANGING GLOVES!!!!! Being a part of the medical profession, THAT IS HIGHLY UNSANITARY!!!!!
Staff is super friendly but my gawd. Standing here in line and time to write a review. Only cause I’ve been here an hour now and still waiting. They need more staff. Open up more machines during busy time. Can be redic. Or give people something to look at other then stand in line. Or get a number system going. Something needs to change
I have been a CSL donor for multiple years now. I used to have to drive 30 miles each way to donate in Akron. I am so thankful that they opened a location in Canton now. A few of my favorite workers transferred to the Canton location. Jenny the manager, for whom I have known for years runs the Canton location. She also brought with her my favorite phlebotomist named Allison. Her expertise and caring personality really make a difference!!We are a family here at CSL. From the managers to screeners and phlebotomists they are all top-notch. New great and caring workers I have recently met are Amber and Ashley. They are both exceptional people and are a blessed addition to the Csl family.You make $400 per month and are helping many!
Please tell phlebotomy staff to stop touching injection site after cleaned. This is an infection risk and almost every time I go I have to have them clean site again and watch staff get mad. Some staff Ive told multiple times.
Yea staff is friendly...and yes its a clean enviroment but the side effects can be fatal...was hospitalized 3 days after donating with stroke symptoms and was told by doctors and rns to never return or could be fatal. If you experience any shortness of breath, hypertension, dizziness, lightheadedness you should stop. 30 to 50 dollars with an end of month bonus is not worth your life!
I have been to csl several times. I thought it was one of the better places to donate until I passed out. The nurse was great and professional. The staff is not. They were supposed to call me the next day to check on me. I have not heard one word from them by phone or email.
Weight Scales Are not correct machines dont work properly at all these people are slow as ever they dont wanna work like they need the plasma you stand in line so long then they wanna send people home cause they pulse to high!!!!!
Good people but the scheduler needs trained. Its always busy 5 to 7 and thats when they run breaks. They close at 7 why are breaks rotating from 530 to 630 w 20 people in line?

Worker pulls the needle out of my arm and splashes blood all on my arm. then tells me Im not in compliance even though I was wearing a mask so wasnt sure what he meant. then puts the wrap so tight on my arm it almost cuts the circulation off. Very unprofessional to say the least.
Some of the workers are lazy they just stand around doing nothing and talking if they cant handle the job and speed u need to go then its not a place for u
Great staff! Everyone is very friendly! Environment is clean. However, they have lost quite a few employees and arent staffed for the traffic this location receives.
Very wonderful staff .I wish they had a spot dedicated to new donors that away everyone standing an waiting dont get cut off . An place to sit while we wait to get on the donor floor would be nice other than that its a really good center
Always waiting 23 hours. Employees are slow. Some machines doesnt work.

Every single time I go in theres a long wait to get vitals. Then theres another long wait to get seated for donation. It seems like they are always short staffed

DO NOT GO HERE !! VERY TERRIBLE PLACE TO DONATE. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO CORPORATE AS WELL. I AM ALWAYS HAVING THIS PROBLEM ! IM SICK OF IT.
I had a pretty good experience my first time donating yesterday and with all the negative comments I thought it was a good idea to say so. Thank you very much and I will be back!

Usually long lines, but great staff. Overall a good experience
Too slow. Goto Kent. Nobody even waited on me I stood there for 20 minutes and walked out. Never was acknowledged.
The wait time is too long.Maybe an appointment system would be better.
I go here 2 days a week to donate and the ladies are wonderful and skilled at what they do.

2022-07-10My second time donating the person gave me a hematoma in my right arm, they tried my left arm and didn’t put the needle in my vain far enough so the machine kept stopping due to no draw, after 3 more tries of slightly moving the needle in my arm and an hour and a half someone finally just pushes the needle in farther and I was able to finish donating. I asked about the bruise on my right arm and that said as long as my other arm was ok I could donate again, so the next time I stand in line for an hour for them to tell me I can’t donate because the bruise and the dr would be in the next day and sign off on it and I could donate after that. So today I go wait in line for an hour and a half get sent to medical they forgot to put me in the queue, so people kept getting called in ahead of me. Finally I say something and they call me in and tell me the dr. Must have missed my chart and hadn’t signed off on it yet and he won’t be back in for a week, and I can’t donate till he signs off on it. Thanks for wasting my time and gas for nothing.

2022-04-24This Facility has declined in its staffing. Phlebotomist are not trained properly. Ive donated a constant four yrs, took a yr break and regret my choice to come back to Canton. I will drive to Akron or Kent from here on, if I return after the damage to my arm today.

2022-03-17Awful company with awful and harmful privacy polices. Not to mention the awful staff and environment. I went to support my girlfriend who finds value in donating to help people but as soon as you walk in the door you are bombarded with signs and overhead announcements saying that they will in fact pay you and everyone assumes that you are just there for money. Thats a sickening mindset i dont need or want their money so Ill be keeping my plasma and my personal information.

2022-06-21It takes over 2 hours on the first visit. You get reimbursed here for donation of plasma.On a regular visit your vitals are taken after a short questionnaire. Then youll wait for one of the machines to be available.Please be sure to drink plenty of water and eat a couple hours before coming here.

2022-01-17They opened late because of snow storm last night. This wasnt a problem as I was one of the first they let in. But the entire hour I was there I had to listen to the manager complain to everyone that they shouldnt have opened. She just wouldnt let up. I mean I showed up to donate as did others. Businesses in the area were mostly open.

2022-02-16Ive been along time donor at Talecris/Grifols for many years. And today was my first time donating at CLS Plasma on Whipple Ave. here in Canton. And I have to say, the professionalism, donor service, and knowledge of the entire staff at CLS was OUTSTANDING! No comparison to what you get at Grifols. The staff at CLS is there to help the donors and to do their job----not dance and sing on the donor floor; or stand around gabbing with co-workers while a donor is waiting to get disconnected! Donors come first at CLS, thats so obvious, and MUCH appreciated. And an excellent job to the management of CLS. You are your team truly ARE THE BEST! Thank you All.

2022-01-26Went in to donate for the first time. Drove 45 minutes. And I feel I was discriminated against Because I have a tattoo over my left vein And he was afraid to poke me in the tattoo. Very unprofessional and somewhat incompetent. The line was long and they were short handed. Pfft!!!
