I lived here for a year and 6 months, and loved it. The location is perfect, view is great, they had secured parking, and security guards on weekends, and felt safe. The staff was fair and tolerable. They have a 24/7 gym and a community room. Downsides to this complex...I think, it could have been overall, more clean and maintained, but for the cheap rent, and fun location, it’s a good taste of downtown living.

I have been living here for almost 2 years. I love living here. We have never had a major problem. The apartments them selves are nothing special, we have a large kitchen, decent sized living room, and our master bedroom in our two bedroom apartment his huge. Storage is a little limited closet wise. The apartments are totally carpeted except for the kitchen which has some kind of a plastic flooring that is not very easy to clean. Maintenance gets their stuff done even though our maintenance guy isnt the friendliest. We had to have an entire window replaced and it was done within a day. Parking is $90 dollars a month which kind of sucks but I have never had a problem with the garage or with security in the building at all. Office staff is ok, not overly nice but they are far from rude. Our rent went up 45 dollars when we renewed but it looks like its still less than they are charging for new move ins. Overall I love living here. There is nothing special, but it also does the trick. I will be sad to leave after graduation.

I have lived at plenty apartments and this is by far my favorite one.Great location for downtown living and good value. I looked at several layouts when picking an apartment, there are a number of variations to choose from. The maintenance staff is there within minutes if you have any issues, office staff is super friendly, office manager is the most helpful and personable person.I highly recommend living here.

Love my apartment!! The leasing office staff were very friendly and welcoming. The maintenance guy on the other hand was very rude. I had to fix my stuff by myself because he is THAT RUDE. Other then that, this apartment is the place to live.

Just moved out after living here for 2 years. Here are my thoughts:Pros:•The least expensive apartment building downtown. Don’t expect modern amenities but it is VERY fairly priced considering the….•Location Location Location! Walking distance to anything that you need (except a Target)•Very Quiet building-No noise from the neighbors. You will however hear people leaving the Flats and walking/driving up W St Clair well past 2am, especially on the weekends but that comes with the location and is completely out of the building’s control.Cons:•Office staff is rude. Neither Joe nor Audrey have any business dealing with the public. Stay in that back office and find a couple of people who actually want to deal with other humans.•Maintenance is stretched very thin. There is 1 Cleaning person and 1 Maintenance guy for an 18 floor building. They both do a great job (shout-out to Bev and Tony!) but can’t be everywhere at once.•24/7 security is advertised but is hardly the case. The security desk is often un-manned after midnight and when someone is “working”, they are watching Youtube on their phones or chit-chatting with the residents which leads to…•Park at your own risk! My car was vandalized in the parking garage. It was caught on camera but the building management didn’t want to proceed any further because claimed they couldn’t make out who it was on camera, a full 7 days after the incident. With better security this could have been avoided.Overall living in Crittenden was a positive experience and I would recommend it if you don’t mind dealing with a rude landlord and don’t need 24/7 security.

Lived here since 2009. Perfect location, great view, very quiet building and extremely helpful/friendly staff. Havent heard of or seen a better value anywhere downtown.

This review pertains to the parking lot, not the apartment complex. I parked there yesterday evening at 9:30 and stayed until 11:30. I was visiting a friend who lived at Bridgeview. When leaving, I could not find my parking ticket anywhere. After looking for fifteen minutes, I decided I just wanted to go home and I would pay the maximum overnight fee for losing my ticket ($10). The man in the booth asked me what time I got here and I said 9:30. He told me I was lying, that I have my ticket and that he could charge me whatever he wanted. He said, yes $10 for overnight but $30 for you because I know the ticket is in your car. I looked AGAIN for my ticket, at this point in tears because he was yelling at my boyfriend that HE decides what we pay, not the sign and that he knows we are lying. He called me princess and shut the window on me when I was talking. We genuinely lost the ticket so there was no option except to pay the money he was requesting so he could open the gate and we could go home (30 minutes later). Needless to say, I am far from pleased and will not be parking there ever again.

This is the best apartment downtown for the money! You cant get a better view or location for this value. Also, Christine is an angel. Highly recommend!

Audrey is The Worst Property Manger is The World. If you want to experience Pain and Suffering for 90 Days, Being COMPLETELY Creeped Out, Having Her Sell YOUR Key Off Several Times, and Having HER Call The Police on YOU Because SHE Sets Off YOUR Alarm 12 Times in A Morning; this is The Place for YOU. STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND BRIDGEVIEW.

The rooms are fairly nice and cheap with a cool view, but its very loud and the Administration is rude, incompetent, and totally oblivious to how a bureaucracy works.
