First time we stopped here. We had a super nice server who was very attentive. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere here. We will go back! Reasonable prices and nice sized portions.
Slightly disappointed. I really wanted a salad, but, when we ordered, we were informed they were out of lettuce and chicken tenders. Funny enough, we ordered BLTs and, guess what, there was lettuce on it. Sandwiches were a hair on the soggy side but lunch was more about the company than the food anyways. Oh and they were out of dumplings. Come on. Cracker barrel is known for their dumplings. It may be a while before we go back.
We went for dinner and waited 15 minutes to even see a waitress which is when we ordered drinks and our food, then another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Then my husbands drink tasted terrible so when we finally saw our waitress again, we flagged her down to have her take it back and just bring water. After waiting for over an hour, he never did get his water, two tables around us who had been seated at least 20-30 minutes after us were served their food, so we told our waitress that we just wanted the bill for my drink and we were leaving. Another waitress (NOT EVEN THE MANAGER) came out to tell us that our food was being plated right now, but we said we just wanted our bill and we were leaving...THEN they tried to charge us for the lemonade that we had sent back. This was the WORST experience we have ever had at Cracker Barrel. We do not plan to go back.
This restaurant seems to have dropped significantly in quality. It used to work like a well oiled machine, but now, from the hostesses to the kitchen it seems like the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. We watched tables around us be given pancakes with no syrup and have their food get cold waiting to try and get someones attention. Others had to get up to ask the hostess where their server was because they had been seated 10 min and not been approached.For ourselves we waited about 5 minutes before our waitress at least greeted us and said she would be back. However, when we had questions about the new menu (new since we were here last) she wasnt able to answer a basic question like do I get a side with the pot roast. She apologized and said that she had only been working a couple days. We waited another 10 min after ordering before our drinks arrived.We ordered our food at about 12:12 and it arrived to the table at 12:36. My wife got the pot roast and really enjoyed it. It came out in a cast iron pot nice and hot. My daughter and I both got the grilled chicken tenders and both plates of food were luke warm as if they had been sitting in the kitchen for a while.I wish I could say that the issues we experienced and witnessed were due to an excessive after church crowd, however it was not as busy as we have seen at other times on a Sunday late morning.It will be a while before we come back.
Waited an hour and a half for our food that we then took home to eat cold. We watched people come in get seated, get there food and leave, but never received rolls nothing. Also didnt see our waitress for 45 mins. Then greated by the manger who couldnt come talk to us because she was on the grill, at the front door like we wasnt going to pay. No excuse for this, they wasnt under staffed, I cant tell u how many workers we seen. Will not be back to this store!!!!
So I order a sunrise sampler over the phone. So when I got my food and went home. I was not only missing my biscuits but my fried apples as well. First I called the associate there they put me over to the to go line. The person at the to go line proceeds to hang up on my face after I told her what happened. After that I called again the associated said sorry and then again put me over to the to go line….. I felt like they were purposely not answering the phone I was on hold for more than a hour. All I wanted is my biscuits and fried apples!! I was very respectful I don’t know why I was treated that way. Very disappointing and disrespectful.
(Saturday March 5th between 1230pm to 230pm) Our server was on key. Could not have had anyone better to wait on a party of 8....even though the kitchen was behind, the food came out hot. Our checkout got messed up a bit due to a computer issue. The staff was very friendly in getting that solved.
Food was great as always. The visit started off with a bang. The hostess was late for work we waited patiently until a waitress came by with an attitude and led us to our table threw our menus down and walked away. We waited patiently until our waitress came by to take our order. After our waitress showed up she redeemed our visit.
Our dinner was hot & oh so 👍 good. Our waitress was friendly and checked back for drinks, if we needed anything more. Clean, pleasant, and enjoy our experience...
I dont wven know where to began on how bad our take out service with them was. I have never experienced such Horrible service . Fully understand we ordered on a busy day. (Morhers day) but first call i was told it would be 10mins till they could take my order. Phone was sat down and all i hear is the whole staff in the back ground was either cussing fighting complaining about their job laughing joking around but didn’t have a time to take the order call back a 2nd time I asked for a manager which I believe her name was Heather was very nice helped me make my order tells me 30 minutes. We arrived around 30 to 35 minutes after order was placed paid for it is thought it would be right out . Our later I asked the worker Hannah that rang me up how much longer she looked at me and asked me for white and didn’t even remember that we were standing there for an hour waiting for our food. By the time we got our food it had been an hour and 30 minute wait we got home and it was the worst meal we had ever had.
Worst experience ever! If I could give it zero stars Iwould. We were seated and waited over an hour for food. Waiter never gave an explanation on why the food was taking so long when asked. Asked to speak to the manager who never came out. At this point I was furious and decided to leave with my family. I will never visit the restaurant again and suggest you avoid it at all cost.
Cracker Barrel rarely ever disappoints and today was no exception. It seems like you know what to expect regardless of the location. Only giving 4 stars today because my breakfast sausage was a little over cooked and the bacon a little under. Otherwise a great stop for breakfast.

The wife and I were in Lima somewhat late (around 9:15pm or so) and we were looking for a nice place to sit down and eat. Ive always been a fan of Cracker Barrel but she was a bit skeptical. We decided to go for it and ate here even though it was fairly late.The gift store is always a lot of fun to look around. It is more of my wifes style than it is mine but I do enjoy the large collection of Yankee and Woodwicl candles while she enjoys all the different shirts and shoes they have scattered around the store. We didnt end up buying anything this time but Im sure we will in the future.The restaurant itself only had one other family eating their meal so we had the place to ourselves. The waitress was an older lady and she offered great and timely service for us. As we waiting we played the classic peg game that Cracker Barrel is known for. (We never did end up only have one peg left...)They offer sodas from a bottle with a frosted mug so that was a fun addition to our meal! I order the chicken and dumplings with green beans and Mac and cheese (my go to meal when Im there) and Alexis order the Fresh Dip with hash brown casserole. I admit that after trying her sandwich I did have food envy even though I loved my food.All in all, the meal was great, it was brought out in a timely manner, the service was good for how late it was, and the meal only cost us a hair over $20.Always going to recommend Cracker Barrel because Im a sucker for some good old fashion soul food.

I am just not a fan. Ive tried different locations when I travel and each time Im not please. I hear others speak highly of it. Apparently its definitely not for my taste buds.

The food was good as it always is but our server left a lot to be desired. From the moment we were seated we seemed to be an imposition for her. Her manner was very unpleasant and she just seemed as if she would rather not be there and we were an inconvenience to her. Our visit was on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not very busy,our food took a bit of time to get to us and our server just seemed put off by our presence. We visited this same location on Sunday before this visit around 10 a.m. and it was much busier, however our server in that day was extremely pleasant and our food came quickly. Definitely not a good experience on our Wednesday visit.

Jan 22,2022. Very disappointed.My husband had chicken and dumplings. The dumplings did not have one piece of chicken.I had chicken pot pie. The filling was as thick as two peas stacked, hardly any gravy, and the tiny pieces of chicken were completely dried out. :(
Food was cold, took a long time to get drinks and the food. Chicken was burnt, mashed potatos cold the biscuits was the best part of the meal. I wouldnt recommend eating here to anyone.
The waitress was too busy to get refills or extra things we needed. The food was lousy and the greens tasted like yesterdays leftovers.
Worst service I have ever had at Cracker Barrel. We sat for an hour and 20 minutes, didn’t even get my drink, silverware, or food. We ended up walking out. The manager never even had the decency to came over and try to explain the problem. Lima, Ohio Cracker Barrel needs to get new management. Terrible.
This place went downhill so fast! And all it took was two years! One they got rid of the full breaded chicken breast for the grandpas special and replaced it with these tiny rubbery chicken tenders then just today I find out they got rid of blackberry pancakes. The last time I went there the waitress was completely rude to me and my gf and acted completely opposite to the couple sitting at a table adjacent to us. Completely fed up I will never be coming back!
Jada was very helpful in answering menu questions and she was a great server. She was very busy and she was still able to keep us in coffee and everything we needed.
The server seemed to want us done as soon as we received our food. Need to learn to check on tables and offer refills and prebuss
Worst experience ever. Took my son and had a long wait and ordered food and drinks and didnt get food til it was cold and had to wait on silverware to eat with. Didnt get drinks til after food and then had to wait on straw. All in all worst experience ever had here. Manager was nice but staff was horrible
1 star. Used to love this place. Today I received terrible service. Took forever to even order a drink. The restaurant is pretty empty. Then I got the wrong food brought to me. So had to wait on my food again.Then they brought me back to the same plate just need tenders making the sides cold. The fruit was just a portion of pineapples only. And the tenders are burnt! Will not return. I think they ruined Cracker Barrel for me.

Hostess and waitress were nice.It took awhile for our food. We received it and it was cold, you could tell by the way it looked it had been sitting under heat lamp for awhile, biscuits were hard. Didn’t get everything we ordered but manager came to check on us and brought out the rest of our order, which was hot.No refills or offer for dessert. Never say manager again to see you if everything was alright or we would have told her.I know things are hard with low staffing, but we are still paying good money for our food.

The breakfast is the best!!!🌟 the pancakes are so buttery and lightly crisp around the edges like you made them at home. The portions will fill you up and the service is excellent. Browsing threw the old time general store while you wait makes the time go fast. You see toys your parents used to have from their childhood. The clothing and shoes are so beautiful and country, I love it❤❤❤

The food was great although it was a little hard to find the place. It was crazy busy though thanks to its close proximity to the major freeways running through the area. It took about an hour to get our carry out order but it was definitely worth the wait, plus it gave us time to wander the store and buy some souvenirs haha

A table full of food to feed 3 hungry men didnt break 32 bucks, And the service was excellent. If you want to feel like you are sitting in a farmhouse at the family table then this is your stop.
Always love the Sunrise Sampler. Only a five minute wait, which is good for walking around the shop. However, may move this place to my B list when traveling. Once seated, used to be able to get in and out of there in 20-30 minutes. Its taking twice that long lately. This time took just over an hour. Dont know if its a staffing issue or what, but its too long for a road trip lunch. There are plenty of middle-of-the-road options if you want to allot an hour for lunch. Still a nice place, thus 4 stars.
They very frequently miss things on to go orders, curbside will not work at all, so dont bother and just go in. Food is about on par with every other cracker barrel, but service for those uncomfortable with eating inside is abysmal every single time.

The breakfast was horrible. Very skimpy and cheap quality. They no longer have omelets. The sausage was round cheap hockey pucs. The eggs were not a fluffy scrambled egg. It was flat and tasteless. The French toast was so dry. The pancakes had crispy edges. Not worth the money. McDonalds has better breakfast
Potato casserole tasted like they used the same spoon from the cinnamon and apples to dip the potatoes. :/ CORN WAS GROSS. BUT our waiter was a young 20s African American guy, soooo nice. He was a gem! He is going places...not just Cracker Barrel. He made it a wonderful experience!

Still enjoyed their Chef salad for lunch. Unfortunately, the corn bread muffins were not only unavailable prior to my meal being served, I had to wait 10 minutes after I finished my meal for them to be provided. I ended up eating them on the road.
The last time I ate here I got food poisoning...5 years later my dad and I try again. Total redemption! Delicious breakfast 😋 The food was way better and coffee was good. Our server kept our coffee full and she was attentive but did not hover. I will go back for sure!

Cracker Barrel always seems to do a great job serving great food to any community that they are located. You can trust that each entrée is tasty and fresh. Furthermore, the side dishes are my favorite thing and you cant say that about many restaurants. The staff are friendly and eager to please patrons and their facilities are always clean and well maintained. As Always, Enjoy!
Steak was over done and did not get the condiments I asked for also was told 30 min for pick up ended up being 50 min
Love cracker barrel, they have down home cooked meals, at great prices. The staff that we had this weekend was totally awesome crew. Didnt have to wait for coffee, or anything.

Came into the restaurant, got our seats. 25 mins went by before they even asked us what we want to drink . Proceeded to get our drinks we only got water and it took them another 15-20 mins to bring that . 3 different families came in after us and got immediately waited on and got there food at least 20 mins after they ordered while we were still waiting at this point for a whole hour before even taking our order. THEN 1hour and about 10 mins later we order and they bring out the food about 30 mins later and it was old and dry looking, just didn’t look fresh or edible . Then the waiter had the nerve to ask did we need anything else …. Uhh YES , how about silverware?!?!? And it took her more than 10mins to even bring that . So me and my family resided to leave the terrible restaurant and go elsewhere where we are treated like actual customers.

We had to wait 45 minutes, longer than the 20 minute estimate. It took 50 minutes to get our food. We did have a party of 8 but 4 were kids between the ages of 3 & 9. Our waitress was great but was told that due to her age she needed to go home as she was to work that night. She then proceeded to bus the table behind us. My husband brought our concerns of the long waits to the attention of the Manager on duty. We were there, on site, for nearly 2 hours and 40 minutes. He really didn’t seem to care. Just wanted Cracker Barrel to know what is going on.

The service was terrible. He mostly ignored us. Service was very slow. Forgot our biscuits until dinner arrived. Never brought requested cornbread. Didnt ask afterwards about the food. When we asked for drink refills he brought them in to go cups and dropped the check before we were done eating. Nor did he ask if we wanted anything else.The one dinner came out with gravy minimally on but already congealing on top. So obviously it was sitting in the back for awhile. The other dinner had corn that was way over cooked. A premium side of bacon Mac and cheese was ordered. There was so little bacon that the breadcrumbs outnumbered the bacon pieces. The biscuits were undercooked as well.When checking out we were asked how our meal was. I said it was terrible. The cashier shrugged and told me my total.
I went there last night for supper with my family and we got drinks our waitress accidentally spilled my water all over me and she didnt even say sorry then it took about 35 minutes for us to get our food we were a party of four and the food was alright my cheeseburger didnt really have any flavor my sisters mashed potatoes didnt either and my moms tasted like bacon for some weird reason my grandmas food didnt have anything like that it was normal. If you go here expect really slow service

The waitress forgot to put our food order in. So people who came in half hour after us , had same waitress got their food. Oops she came to us , said she forgot to put on our food order and they was rushing it that was 45 minutes after we was seated and we told her what we wanted. We was given our corn bread and a salad. She by pasted our table for a goid 20 minutes. Still no food. I got her attention 55 minutes later, asked her about our food , if it was not ready we was leaving. She ran to kitchen to check did not come out for another 5 to 10 minutes. She came back with our food.
Bought two supper samplers over 30 dollars for 2 meals that the meat was raw in the meatloaf! Called and they wouldnt make it right! Wish I could post pics this is not only gross its dangerous! Food posining is real! Not to mention Mac n cheese was too watery and the biscuits seemed like they were from this morning. They were so hard! Will not be eating here agian for fear of getting sick! Will be calling corporate or whoever number they gave tomorrow because this IS NOT FOOD SAFETY!!!

6/12/21... My fiance picked up breakfast from here this morning & brought it back to our hotel room. He absolutely loves Cracker Barrel! I hadnt had it for years. My fiance & kids enjoyed their breakfast. My son and I did notice our scrambled eggs were slightly undercooked, which we didnt care for. Otherwise, our breakfast was great.
Very friendly host, wait staff and cashier. The restaurant was clean. We had breakfast this trip. The food was consistent with most Cracker Barrel restaurants. It was tasty and the portions were generous.
Food was good but curbside is horrible. I arrived a few minutes early and checked in. 10 minutes later I went into store. I was informed the curbside check in is not working and my order is sitting up front. My order, luke warm. No butter for biscuits. No utensils. If they knew curbside had issues they should be watching for cars. Will not be ordering like this again. Tried online ordering again but went in to pick up. People were friendly but the food is bad. This is the final order.
Went in late, very tired and very hungry. Hostess said itd be 15 min. wait. Looked around, there was maybe 2 tables with people seated. I stated that, and was told the servers were busy. 5 minutes later, were seated to a dirty table, as the other tables around us. Waited for another 10 min. Asked server to wipe down table. Took our order, waited another 20 min for food, no silverrware. Waited another 5 min or more for that! My dinner was the worst Ive ever had at Cracker Barrel!! Gave it 2 stars cause not sure it was all waitress or mngt.
The food was very good and served hot.Our waitress was prompt and attentive.My only con is that the place is very dimly lite which sometimes makes it difficult to see the menu for us older folks.

My husband and I decided to go out for breakfast before grocery shopping this morning in Lima, Ohio. We patiently waited almost 25 minutes in the car since the store was quite crowded with people. Youd think if they are complying with state mandates about social distancing and capacity in the restaurant part, they would enforce the same in the small confines of the store, right? Anyway, we waited in the car and they texted us that our table was ready. After weaving our way through the crowd in the store, we were seated. We waited well over ten minutes with at least four different waitresses going back and forth cleaning tables, etc. No one even stopped to acknowledge our presence or to ask if we had been helped yet. We waited an additional five minutes more as more parties were being seated in our area and watching others get waited on. We decided the poor service was not worth any more waiting and gave the hostess our menus back along with our disappointing comments. We visited a competitor and was given friendly service almost immediately.
I got the hamburger steak with sweet potato and veggies and OMG!!! The steak melted in my mouth, best hamburger. steak Ive ever had. Also not a fan of marshmallows but them on my sweet potato was heaven. And also our server was on top of his game. I give this place 10 stars 🌟
We had a great server, Maleesha. Food was decent. My 2 daughters and I were getting a lot of stares cause we were enjoying our mother daughter date. We laughed so hard and yes we were a little loud, we even had the waitress laughing. Great atmosphere.
We came for dinner one night. Three out of the five of us ordered fried chicken. We were there just before closing. They were all tired from their long day at work. Some how they forgot to drop the chicken. We were not up set at all. So we waited patiently and the manager came to talk with us. They discounted the food and gave us extra sides while we were waiting. Best service ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Cracker Barrel for being so accommodating!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be back!!!!!!!!!!
I had high hopes for this place.. visiting from California. First, the lady taking to-go orders felt the need to tell me the price to MY requested add-ons...as if I couldnt read or afford an extra $7 item. That ended her potential tip IMMEDIATELY, and I tip well. 2nd..I ordered the Thursday special which is Turkey and dressing..And there was Not one drop of dressing on the plate. It wouldnt have been a big deal.. except the manager had just literally came up to me 5 minutes before I received my order and stated that my Turkey dinner was being plated. Just WOW. 3rd..the food is BLAND..unlike the other Cracker Barrels I have visited. Never. Again. I do not recommend this location...EVER.
I will never eat hear, again. I got sick after eating there fried catfish. At first they brought out our meals. My fish was soggy as if it had been sitting for a while or it wasnt cooked long enough. Either way it was disgusting... Mind you, when I placed my order I asked for crispy fish. I was assured they will make it crispy... Ok so I sent that back. After waiting for about 30 plus minutes late I received my fish. Ughhh🤦🏿♀️ it was crispy but instead of giving me fresh fries. REMEMBER 30 PLUS MINUTES LATER. THEY BRING ME BACK THE SAME FRIES🙄🙄🙄 REALLY CRACKER BARREL...??? 🙄🤦🏿♀️ I mean the least you could have done was give me fresh fries, especially being I waited soooooo long, smh... I could go on and on. Even my mans food was messed up. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS CRACKER. BARREL TO ANYONE Last but not least I ended up with a runny bowel which was green. I had stomach pains and etc. It was about an hour or so after I ate at this place... Never again
Dirty dirty dirty! Tables were sticky there was spilled food under the table yet. Had the fried chicken, tasted like it was cooked in 100 day old oil, staff was friendly but waiter definently had no drive or enthusiasm for his job! Save your money go elsewhere!

Hash brown casserole was very dry and the carrots wasnt like the usually are and we didnt have a good waitress! She didnt ask if we needed anything and we had to ask someone for a box for take home.
Such warm hospitality from every employee we encountered! And our waitress Brittany was a peach! Of course the food was great and we found some neat things in the shop. Lovely experience and great prices!

Slowest service Ive ever experienced. 40 minutes and no food with 2 hungry kids😡 Waitress just wanders by and doesnt check on us... last time Ill go to the Lima cracker barrel. At least I had time to write this review and still havent gotten our food. 52 minutes now and counting!
Unusual long wait time for food. Food served around us and people ate and left while we Waited. When we asked about our food, it came out about 2 minutes later. Food lukewarm at best. Waitress attentive but food not the best
Ordered 3 dinners online. Everything was good except was missing 2 sides (1 from each plate) and plastic ware. It pays to check order B4 you leave the bldg or the pking lot.
Very good service and I always enjoy my meal with no complaints. If you have never dined in there, then you are missing out totally worth every penny.
The food was terrible picked up whole pile of mash potatoes with fork they were so hard. Bread would have knocked you out. Steak was tough really only thing that wS good was pop.
Place was so dark I could not read the the menu . So went with the daily special, county fried pork chops..they were good but the sides and cornbread were horrible. Mashed potatoes and white gravy, as well as the mac and cheese had no flavor. Completely bland. Cornbread was burnt.
Usually love the food and service but have noticed last few times we’ve ate here the food is coming out barely warm. Hopefully this pattern will improve.
It was my second time there in about 5 months and it did not get no better since the first time. The first time the food was not very warm the candle on our table had went out and the smoke just kept going in my face. The waitress was not very good the food was really not very good at all in fact when we went to pay for our food I had mentioned it to the person taking the money and she had actually give my money back because there was a couple other things that also happened. So as the month went by I said to my husband while we might as well use whats on the card you know because we have it so he had an appointment in Lima Ohio and we decided to go there and have supper and hopefully that it had changed and that was just a fluke that it had happened that day ... It was not. At least there was no candles on the table they had taken them all off the food was not that great again I was not impressed to say the least I am most definitely not ever going back there again so that is my experience and I hate to put that out there like that but thats the truth. The one other thing that I wanted to add was it doesnt seem like there is very many choices on the menu of different dinners to have its only like theres four major ones to choose from and I really didnt like any of them two of them basically hamburgers just in a different shape so I think maybe they should get more variety that would help. Theyre also about the only restaurant that I know that doesnt have cottage cheese.
Most likely last time eating at Cracker barrel, they have cut their menu dropped some juice from menu. Was told the next thing will be to add beer to the menu...not the barrel anymore.At least at Bob Evans you can still get a bowl of plain oatmeal and a glass of tomato juice. It was nice eating here until all the changes. Good by Barrel.
Yummmmm!! That was the best resteraunt breakfast Ive had in a long time! We had to wait a little while to be seated, but the lady that seated and served us was serving all the rest of the tables too single handedly, so props to her, she was great! Very clean too... Got a warm caramel latte with my meal...amazing!
Not sure if l want to go back. The grits were little runny and just didnt taste that great. Plus grit, potato casserole and gravy wasnt all that warm. For almost nine dollars, l expect a hot breakfast and surely not runny grits. Service maybe a 7.

Always a great meal! We went there on Thanksgiving day & still only had to wait just a little while before they seated us! We were very surprised & pleased! They were really busy but very efficient! Our waitress was so nice & kept up with our little group wonderfully with whatever we needed! She was super nice!
The food sucked really bad the so called person that made out breakfast did not know how to cook hashbrowns and the eggs was runny as hell .. NEVER AGAIN
I highly recommend the Rainbow Trout. Service was excellent and dinner was served in a very timely manner even though I was with a group.

On 4-24-21 around 840 am. Bathroom terrible, 1 soap and towels dispenser empty, floor wet because 1 toilet out of order. Had group of 4, our food was cold and service was poor. Had to go get sugar and butter myself because took server to long. Food so cold butter didnt melt in grits. A couple in front of us who happened to be my friend who was white was told they didnt have to pay. But manager only took 1 meal off and had to pay for 3. Lima Ohio Ill never eat at any crackle barrel again...
Cheesy Hash Brown casserole is still out of this world.

W went in to meet a friend for breakfast and had pancakes they are some of the best pancakes I have ever had. They gave a small bottles of maple syrup and it was great! Our waitress was fabulous and offered us their new cappuccinos and lattes the service was wonderful
Took way too long for our food to get to the table.
No reason to come back.No more chicken livers...Sky soda is gone. They only serve the small sirloin now. Many things are missing or changed and they are soon going to start serving alcohol. The old Cracker Barrel is gone.Seems like every time I go to Cracker Barrel something is wrong with someones order, usually the okra is hard as a rock.As overpriced as a lot of the stuff in the store is, I do enjoy looking and they have some unique items.

Food quality has gone down. Portions have decreased. The store is still great to browse through. Just not too willing to go there to eat again.

Had a long wait for a table of 7. My sisters arrived first and put in our name. They asked for a table for 7. The hostess said I can seat you now if your party is all here. My wife and I were still 2 minutes away so they gave the table to another party. We arrived 2 minutes later and we all waited another 30 minutes for a table to open. The food service was good (our server was great) and the food was very good.
Normally great service last few times however we have had issues. Most recent time we went there we waited 2.5 hours for them to tell us they lost our names and we would have an additional 30 minute wait at minimum. We had a larger party so I dont know how they could lose our name, not to mention we had 2 toddlers and 2 babies who were extremely hungry to make the situation worse. Looked like more staff was working the store side than actually working in the dinning room. Until I hear they got their act together we will be going else where.

Stopped for lunch while travelling to Dayton. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Seated and waited on quickly and efficiently. Ordered the French Dip and Veg Soup. Both were wholesome and flavorful. Real fire in the fireplace was a welcome addition, nice subtle scent walking by. Would definitely return.
They are very very rude . the attitudes and responses they give to people are truly disgusting and show lack of character .
Super nice cashiers! I was delivering for DoorDash, and was immediately greeted. Then after I was told there was a kitchen wait, they offered a free drink. I declined, assuming the drink would be for the order I was picking up, but the sweet young girl insisted it was for me. It was so thoughtful!
Last time there ordered biscuits and gravy and had to wait 25 to 30 minutes before we got it and half of them were almost burnt on the bottom! Waiter was nice and courteous, kept tea filled but kitchen staff Evidently needs more training ! Worst I’ve had in a very long time!
The food was great as always and the service very good. Waitress was attentative but did not smother. They have added more to an already large selection, but I feel their spicy catfish is still the best. They have enough holiday items to keep even the most energetic shopper happy.

Service was way below average from much longer wait to be seated than told. Food orders were not brought to us together. Waited 10 minutes for syrup after we got our food. The ultimate was hair in food ! Excuse was given they were short handed on employees today.I was asked several times if I wanted to speak to a manager, maybe the waitress should have went and got the manager instead of asking me. 2hrs 45 minutes to eat breakfast that you never ate because of lost appetite with this experience. I will not be back any time soon.
I had the steak and was pleasantly surprised, it was very good. Cant remember what my wife had but she was very happy with it also. As well as the staff, they were very attentive to our needs, bathrooms were clean and they have a cool little shopping area up front to buy knick knacks.

The atmosphere was peaceful, the waiters are awesome, and the food was good. I know its a simple review but for more clarity, they kind of messed up and put the wrong type of bacon on my burger and I totally didnt care and didnt even say anything and the awesome waiter noticed and brought me extra bacon for free. I had fun. My friend and I went for brunch cause she couldnt go for my Birthday, I am so glad we went. I had a really good day, laughing with her and the waitress was fantastic.

This was my first visit to this location. This location had very friendly staff the greeted us when we first walked in. It took a few minutes to get our drink order but not too long. I was very impressed how fast our food came out and it was all very hot and good. The sweet tea was overly sweet so I ordered something else no issues from our server. Our overall visit was very good. I will be back. Thanks for great service.

None of my food was hot. I chose the sweet potato casserole as one of my sides and it was not worth recommending. It tastes like tart squash. No pecans or crunch of any kind. Very watery. The white gravy was to thick and very minimal amount put on the country fried steak. Overall thewhole experience was mediocre at best.
I absolutely love this place!! It feels like having home cooked meals with pretty much anything you order. The service is great, and the country store has so much nostalgia and liveliness to it. The food is amazing, and youre treated like family by the servers and even the other folks dining with you. Even if you come here just for the country store, you will NOT be disappointed.
I went here with family on a Saturday evening for dinner. There was 9 of us. Our wait was about 20-25 minutes, which was no where near as long of a wait as the 2 other restaurants near by. The food was great, portion size was perfect. I wouldve given more stars, but the waitress seemed like she didnt know what she was doing, like she was lost. She brought us the wrong drinks to begin with, and after she brought our food out, she never came back to even ask us how everything was, or if we needed anything else. Wish I could remember her name. But overall a great place to get a home style meal at a reasonable price.
Very nice area. Waitress (Heather) was very nice and courteous. Place was busy but waitress always came back asking if everything was ok or if we wanted refills. We did. A table of 3 have a problem with sausage and she took care of it right away. Definitely will be going back and telling others about the place

Definitely better than Bob Evans here in Lima for breakfast. Coffee was good also. Bob Evans here on the Eastside of Lima has really gone downhill.
When we sat down to get our meals, my 89 year old mother in law was feeling a bit chilled from the AC, not because it was set too low, but her metabolism. They have shawls and other nice items on display in the store, so I went and bought a shawl for her. That beautiful smile was worth every penny as I wrapped it around her shoulders.Then we enjoyed the New Southern Fried Chicken with Baked Sweet Potatoes and various choice side dish dishes. Always, their dishes leave plenty for take home left overs.
Food overcooked and crunchy. Hostess with massive afro and no hair net is very unsanitary in a food setting. This will be my last time at your store.
Delicious food and I love the gift shop there! You can always find something you want to buy and sometimes you have trouble deciding and end up spending too much. They also have lovely wooded furniture for sale outside the restaraunt, which you can sit on and wait for your table, if its busy. They also provided a big Checkers table to play on outside. And every table has a peg game to play while waiting for your food. The place has a great environment to it, along with a great fireplace that actually puts off heat. Love it!
Can you really go wrong with breakfast and shopping for Christmas presents after?This could have had 4 stars...We were 7 ppl at our table in a room of 3 other tables total... and yet our food took over 30 minutes? Not a fan of waitress or kitchen at this particular visit. Normally its a 4☆
The food was delicious and the front door host and our server was very polite and friendly.. The store people were extremely rude and after receiving a text back that there wasnt a wait when we checked in online we were then made to wait an hour with three small kids. We would of waited to come if we had known the wait was an hour.
The family likes to go here in the winter, sit by the fireplace and play checkers while we are waiting on our food. The staff is always nice and accomidating with 2 young boys. We also get a kick out of looking through the store...old time toys and candies are fun and nostalgic. Food is comfort...not exactly the healthiest but it certainly tastes good!
Curbside pickup: Very disappointed 😞. Waited over 20 minutes & order wasnt even right. Definitely did not get what paid for. Called and didnt want to make it right. Im sure Covid had something to do with it. Eyeroll.

The only time Ive ever had a bad meal at cracker barrel. I ordered chicken and dumplings as usual. The dumplings were in clump in the middle of the bowl and were only room temp. Pretty obvious that the preparer was just putting in time.

We went today 9/7/2019 for lunch. Had a 10 minute wait before our name was called (no problem). Got seated looked at our menu. 10 minutes later have not been knowledge by anybody. 3 other servers in our area. Another couple seats down 2 tables from us and waitress showed up 2 minutes later to take their drink orders. We got up and left. Very disappointed.
The meatloaf was horrible, the croutons on the mac and cheese were stale, and the cornbread was hard and dry. All after waiting 30 minutes for takeout.
It was not a good experience. I was extremely dissatisfied with FELICIA (she wasnt even our waitress) my husband put the salt and pepper away from our five year old who decided to start whipping it around, so he put it on the ledge for no more than 30 seconds. Felicia came over and asked did you put this here? My husband said yes.... She cut him off and said well maybe you shouldnt put it there and stomped off. Maybe she was having a bad day? So was I. Sometimes a smile can go a LONG way.
My family and I were staying at the Hampton Inn, and my mothers birthday was one of the days we stayed. I was directed to this Cracker Barrel at the suggestion of the Hampton staff to buy a gift for my mother. The selection of gifts there was wonderful, as I picked out a wooden box and some goats milk lotion. I spoke with the hostess about a treat and she let me look at the menu. I ordered the blueberry muffin, which was promptly delivered to me, and I was able to pay for everything all at once at the gift shop counter. My mother loved the gifts and the muffin. Thank you CB staff!
Normally the food is great. We arrived at 730 and the service was slow without much attention. They ran out of chicken and dumplings and had to make more. My wifes ruben was soggy on the bottom. It must have sat under the heat lamp waiting on the dumplings.
Always great staff, food is always hit to the tabke and spot on. Have a lovely gift shop with decent prices. Recommend to anyone and everyone.

Had over an hour wait due to large crowd, they cant handle large crowds. They have too many new people right now. Dinner was average and not hot. Usually its a pretty good place to eat, still my favorite breakfast restaurant.
Ordered scrambled eggs recieved omelet looking runny inside eggs! The pancakes were delish, though. Lost our appetite after cutting into eggs. Waiter and management made it right.
I love everything at Cracker Barrel! The food, the store, the staff. Limas Cracker Barrel is the best Ive ever been too service wise. They also customize the food the way you ask. I like my eggs scrambled with cheese and well cooked (blackened) onions...when asked, they do it right every time. The manager is always nice and engaging. Hes always on the floor talking to staff and customers or helping his workers. Food is always fresh and comes out fast. I love country breakfast options like the fried Catfish, Chicken or Grilled Pork Chops and eggs! You cant beat the dinner...meatloaf, Sunday Fried Chicken, Saturday Chicken and Rice, Pinto Beans, Greens and the best corn bread muffins ever! Im fat because of Momma and Cracker Barrel. Lol. Skinny people eat here all the time too!
I have been here on 3 separate occasions and each time I had EXCELLENT food.Have only eaten for breakfast and have had a wide variety of breakfast items and they were always fantastic.The service has always been friendly and speedy as well.I will definitely be back.

2022-03-29I had no idea what to expect when I went in here, I didnt even know exactly what it was. Out of sheer curiosity I went in with my family and was surprised to see it was not only a restaurant serving some great food it was also a store featuring many unique items. The prices were reasonable the stop was well organized. I walked out with about $20 worth of pop that Ive never even heard of before.. for you Americans that sodas 😅

2022-06-07I ordered take out tonight and the food was ready as promised on time. The portions were good for the reasonable priced dinners. My husband & I both had the 2 piece boneless chicken breast dinner with 2 sides. My dumplins were perfect just wish I had just got it as both my sides. The chicken was good slightly dry though. The mashed potatoes were a little dry but the sawmill gravy was great. My husbands side salad was great. It was a good size for a side item. I would definitely order from here again while Im working in Lima

2022-04-15Our server(Isabella) was great! After she took our orders (10 of us) we were told that six of us couldn’t have what we ordered. We had six children with us and had to figure out what other things they might want. After we finally reordered we were told again they were out of several of those items too. That time we had to reorder three meals. It was over an hour when we were told the first time that what they ordered could not be provided and another 20 before the second time we had to change the orders. When our orders finally began to trickle out we were told several sides were no longer available. Some of us had our sides dumped into our chicken and dumplings (that four of us finally got after changing our orders twice)and some had them put on the side. The waitress was very apologetic through the whole thing and assured us the manager would be out to talk to us. When the manager finally came to the table she went to the opposite side of where the mother sat and said quietly to them if all the food was alright, we said yes because it was hot and fine BUT she already knew what we had been through and never even addressed that, just walked away and left it to the server to keep apologizing and acted like she did something great for us. We were NOT impressed with the manager this time nor the one we had on Wednesday morning when we had to wait for over an hour to eat breakfast with a group of ladies. Again the manager asked about the food but not the waiting period and left it to the server to have to tell us of the mess the kitchen was in. If they don’t have cooks they should not open for service.

2022-04-14Waited 1 hour for food. 3 tables that came after us got their food before us. Went to the manager and said waiting one hour and no food and her response was to look at her I pad and say its been 58 minutes. Food was piled high under warmer. She went back and our good was immediately brought out. Unfortunately it had been under the warmer for a long time. We picked at it and left. When cashier asked how everything was I said first time we ever had poor service and in edible food. She said sorry and said my total. Never looked up. Sad

2022-05-13It was very busy last weekend being Mothers Day weekend and Prom but overall service was okay for my Birthday. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed after dropping and shattering one of our drinks but it didnt ruin our night. The lady seating guests was a seasoned employee you could tell, she was quick to help clean up the glass so our server could continue serving.

2022-03-01The terrible service started from the beginning. We were seated at 5:15. Waitress didn’t come to our table for at least 20 minutes. Finally ordered drinks and to make things quicker for them, we ordered at the same time. Didnt get our food for at least an hour. The food that came out was a little to be desired. Sent back a few things to be remade. Came back out maybe 15 minutes later but honestly looked the same. We wanted to speak with the manager. She was less then forth coming. She recommended that we order something else if we didn’t want to wait on it. Made every excuse in the book at why the service was terrible and that we were being unreasonable. I couldn’t believe it. I work in food service and would never say the things she said. She did say she would take a $7 item off the bill but never did. In fact, sent the waitress out to hand us our bill and with no changes. Threatened to calls the cops if we didn’t pay the full bill even though we were going to anyway. Honestly the whole experience turned us off and quite frankly I will never go to this location again.

2022-03-01I ordered over the phone bc online wouldnt take the order without paying for it and I wanted to use cash. I asked for the order to be picked up at a specific time and when I got there the girl had accidentally thrown away my order and forgot all about it. When I finally did get my food they had forgotten about my dessert so they gave that to me without cost which was fair, but when I got home I didnt have my side dish. The food was good, very good, but all together it took out another 30 minutes away from what I needed to have done. I didnt call about my missed side dish because I had already gotten the free dessert.

2022-03-13I just want to say today was the WORST service I have ever had here. We arrived at 1 and it was after 4 when we left. We were told our wait would be an hour. So we waited knowing it would be busy on Sunday after church. After an hour we checked back to see how much longer and were told there were 2 ahead of us. After 3 were called we asked again and were told the same thing and again 3 more were called. We told them we were going to leave so they sat us at a table. Our waitress took our drink order and brought our drinks then took our food order. 45 minutes later I stopped someone to get us refills and at least bring our biscuits and corn bread. About 20 minutes later they brought all of our food except 1 plate saying they had to make new. Upon bringing our food one plate had a hair in it another was wrong mashed potatoes were cold and crusty and the baked potato was raw. I requested to speak to a manager who never showed until asked for the second time. She proceeded to tell us she would see what she could do. She did absolutely nothing!!!!! I will never eat here again. I even said to the guy at the register I understand places are short staffed but 3 hours to get lunch.....ridiculous! He then proceeded to tell me they werent short staffed. Even worse!!!!

2022-04-07Went here for a family dinner. Waited 20 min for a server another 15 for the drinks almost hour and half waiting for food with3 hungry kids ages 3 2 and 1.. asked for biscuits to keep them happy she never came back untill she came with food. Food and service not great this time around.
