A compassionate family owned business. When my son died they were truly a comfort to my wife and I. No problems with them. The only thing was that the refrigerator was working in the freezer but not in the cabinet in the apartment. And the rent was too high for him. Otherwise a great property rental company

I lived in an apartment owned by C.R. O’Neil for the past year. I found they were responsive to service requests, easy to contact, and their prices reasonable. And I wanted to share this customer service experience I just had with their office staff upon turning in my apartment key (decided to go with an apartment that has more amenities this upcoming year, not due to the company themselves). I turned in my key 3 days ago and later that same evening, I realized I left my best friend’s wedding flowers hanging to dry in the closet of my old apartment after I spent the whole day cleaning. Frantic, I emailed the office on Saturday night, hoping that they would let me borrow my key to grab the flowers. I was worried they may have gotten thrown out when the apartment was inspected today. I received an email reply that stated they retrieved the flowers and were housing them in their office and I was welcome to pick them up. Grateful they saved them for me and glad they were my first company to rent from!

DO NOT RENT FROM C.R. O NEIL. I have dealt with 4 different property managers over my life and CR. O NEIL IS THE WORST. Maintenance requests took a MINIMUM of 4 months to repair anything. After weeks of trying to get a response I had to drive to the office because CR O NEIL would not return calls or emails. When they finally repaired the issue, the job was such a joke I ended up repairing it myself. This was just 1 of many serious issues (water leaks, non working electrical, ect ect)STAY AWAY, C.R. O NEIL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENNANTS. They maintain low quality homes and they provide the worst service possible.In response to CR O Neil - I am in your system. You only respond to repairs you want to perform (cheap & easy). You ignore all major issues for a minimum of 4 months, or just ignore them completely. RENTERS - STAY AWAY!

This company is a mixed bag. Their rent portal system was easy to use and maintenance requests were timely. However, the people working in the office are unorganized, rude, and rarely have answers to questions. They also have pretty draconian move-out rules and like to throw legalese at you in response to reasonable requests. Fortunately the actual owner of the property we rented was a great guy and kept the place up.

Not a good property management company at all! Warning to all property owners looking to rent: this place will be happy to take your money, and use any excuse to get it, invoicing you for any and all things they deem necessary. Itll get to the point where you wont see rent for SEVERAL months!! Oh, and forgot to mention that I had contact with my last renters before I sold, and they were complaining about them not doing essential work for them! I was FURIOUS! Owners, just do yourself a favor and do the management yourself. Sure it takes some time and effort, but youll have control and not have to deal with blood suckers like this company.

I have rented from this company for 8 years. Its a family place woth a family approach to business. Only reason were leaving them is were leaving the state. Never raised my rent in 8 years, Sean became a part of my family too. A soft spoken professional gentleman with a great heart.

I was reading Catalinas review about the secretary (Patty) and could not agree more. And ONeils response could not be further from the truth. They will never address the issue, because she has been there for years with many complaints. They will defend her all day long. I do not recommend renting from this company by any means. Im giving 2 stars only because the maintenance team was great, but I could not have been happier to be done with that lease!

What cant I say about this company. Whole place is falling apart.1. Owner had smart idea remove a section of wall in the master bedroom and refuse to put it back up.2. After renewing ask was there any new changing to the lease they said no so when we tried to change residents they said itll be $100 change out fee plus $25 application fee.3. Maintenance crew is awesome group of guys, when the company let them actually do their job.

I’m not sure yet about this company. I’ve lost 70% of trust so far and I’ve yet to sign a lease. This company will not accept my OSU service dog because it’s not specifically MY service dog, but simply a registered service animal. Instead of accepting the dog as a service dog, they’ve made me pay the deposit and additional pet fees. When I submitted my deposit, I also submitted a substantial portion of the rent that I now cannot get back if I do not sign the lease as the application states all monies are forfeited if the lease doesn’t get signed. This company told me I could move in on the 18th, then changed to the 21st. On the morning of the 20th, the company emailed me and said the unit wouldn’t be ready until a later date while I had already scheduled and paid for the movers on the 21st. When I suggested I’m not interested in dealing with companies that do not do what they say, they were able to (magically) have the carpets cleaned. I emailed a question two separate times with no response and when I called to get a response, Mr. O’Neil gave me a list of things he had done “for me” but really, would have had to be done for any tenant. From 6/4 when I submitted my deposit to 6/20, the “for rent” sign stayed in the yard. I feel this company is much more concerned about profits than an actual tenant. This is my last rental before I purchase in UA.
