My phone lost a battle with the reclining mechanism of my couch. I was distraught as it was only 8 months old. I searched the internet and found tons of positive reviews for CPR and decided it would be my best choice. I got amazing service. I was in and out in 45 minutes. The repair looks fantastic and it was definitely affordable, beats the cost of a new phone!. I wasn’t sure if my phone could be saved. Great service, great price, great warranty and extremely friendly staff. I would definitely go here again!!
I needed a battery for my Moto Z4 and CPR Cell phone repair was recommended to me so I made a appointment on line, I received an estimate and set up a follow up. I purchased a new battery but it was the wrong item. So after we got the correct battery, I went back to the store and Scott installed it and a new screen. All for the estimated price. I am very satisfied with the service received.
CPR provide quick and easy repair of my phone face. Much pre-work was done over their website, through email, and phone, which made it super convenient. Although store hours are slightly limited, they really accommodated my request well. The work only took 45 minutes once the part came in. I recommend them for phone and computer repair work.
Took my phone in to get the screen fixed, but unfortunately it was not the screen but something internally with the phone. Very professional and tried to get my phone working a couple different ways. Paid $320 after tax to get the screen fixed, and was refunded about $120 all together. Seems a bit pricey for labor, but I understand that is the risk you take and can only blame myself for not getting insurance for it.Overall, very nice and professional and would go back again if I am in a similar situation.
Great, easy, simplistic experience. I dropped off an older Toughbook computer to get the screen replaced along with a phone needing the same service. Scott was very professional, polite and was up front and honest about how long it would likely take (week for the phone, a few weeks for the computer). A week after dropping them both off for repair, Scott calls and both items were fixed and ready for pickup. Not only that but looks like he did a deep cleaning on the Toughbook keyboard (it needed it badly lol). Would recommend them 100%
Staff was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The CPR website to get an estimate on cost of repair was very user friendly and accurate. Ended up being much cheaper to get my device fixed at CPR. It was not a deal breaker for me but I did have to wait a week to get the part needed to fix my device. I was able to keep my device though and was called right when I was told the part would be in. Dropped my device off at CPR and service was completed quickly. I had my device back in just a few hours and it looks brand new.
We took my husbands cell phone here to have his screen replaced. It was going to cost over $400 but that’s on us because we didn’t cover it with Verizon and it was cheaper than replacing it. My husband dropped it off and planned to pick it up the next day. Upon picking it up, he could turn it on and the phone screen was all his apps etc however the phone would no longer read the SIM card. Therefore, no messages, phone calls, data… no functioning phone. He took it back in and they said they’d reach out to IT to address the issue but if it was their fault they “owed him a phone”. Two days later we call in and they claimed that none of their solutions worked to fix it, they reached out to Verizon and it was actually a “software issue” they had been having with this phone. They provided two options, a refund or store credit towards a “like new” phone in which we’d then have to pay the difference which was over $300. When I questioned how this was fair I was told “this is all we can do because it’s not our fault”. So now we had an even more broken phone and needed to buy a new one with no support from this business at all because they can’t take accountability or responsibility in a situation they clearly had a hand in. We chose the refund and we would address it and try to fix it with Verizon. The refund excluded the labor costs of $80 but when we picked it up, they literally put his broken screen BACK ON! We turn it on and now there is a black spot in the screen that isn’t functioning which wasn’t there prior. (So glad you got the screen back to make an extra buck) We take it to Verizon, they access the SIM card and declared no software issue basically calling bull on their claims. They attempted to put it back in and met a lot of resistance in the SIM track. Upon further investigation they said that the entire track was bent and misshaped which is NOT a software issue and a direct result of how they handled it. Once they got it back in, the exterior lining of where the SIM card should sit didn’t even line up. We were beyond livid. We essentially paid $80 for them to damage his phone screen further and make it unusable forcing us to buy out that phone contract to get him another…. Terrible customer service and treatment all around. We can play “your word against mine” all day long but the reality is we left there having to spend $100s more and a second party observer - Verizon a reliable source - validated that this was NOT a software issue and showed us the internal damage. Their word is not backed by accountability, be prepared for them to wash their hands of any responsibility if an error is made.
Last week, my cell went for a swim in a swimming pool! After talking to AT&T (cha-ching!), we googled local cell phone repair services and found CPR Cell Phone Repair! We dropped it off on a Friday, and had it back Tuesday! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and the price was beyond incredible! The phone is working perfectly and we highly recommend this company for your cell phone repair needs!
Replace the back glass on my S20 ultra. I did lots of pricing comparisons around Cleveland and his price was right with everybody elses. However this is a locally owned business and Scott the owner works the front counter. Hes very friendly and genuinely cares about his clients and tries to find a way to get them the best deal possible. I would highly recommend this shop over any other.
My 4.5 year old Samsung mobile device experienced a screen fracture, rendering it useless, as I could no longer visually access the screen. However, the device was still functional(received texts and calls). I searched for repair options and decided to use CPR Akron-Fairlawn b/c they repaired a wide range of products, the owner(Scott Madison) had many excellent reviews AND Scott responded to ALL reviews. I was particularly impressed that he defended his business in any of the nasty reviews, citing specific reasons / circumstances about the transaction.Scott did a great job on my device repair - it was finished in a reasonable amount of time(parts needed to be ordered), he provided an honest projection of completion on my only update inquiry and he answered all my questions about the repair when I picked up the repaired device.....looks and operates like new! THANKS, Scott and CPR Cell Phone Repair!!!
Customer service was phenomenal. After dropping off my iPhone 8 Plus, the owner of the store called me after initial diagnosis and told me there could be a motherboard issue but was willing to try to still repair my issue after explaining the risks. After a week of troubleshooting, my phone was still not able to get repaired. He even sought a second opinion from a second CPR store on a day he was closed. That store concurred that it was a motherboard issue. When I went to pick up my phone, he offered a full refund as he was unable to repair my phone, even after telling him I felt bad to take a full refund as he spend all those hours troubleshooting. We ended up deciding a credit towards a refurbished phone was best and he got me a great deal. Picked up my refurbished phone today and it’s like having a brand new iPhone 8 Plus. Scott definitely knows how to provide great customer service. Even though he was unable to get my issue fixed, I walked out of there a satisfied customer with my refurbished phone.
I went there today to see bout my ps4 getting repaired and although the ps4 is too damaged to be fixed he was still cool to check it out and told me everything that was wrong with it and told me it aint really worth it to fix so i thank him for that! he also refunded my money since i couldnt get it fixed so i thank him for that too! he is super cool! would go back again!
Went in on a Thursday to get my iPhone screen fixed, apparently they didn’t have an iPhone screen part which was understandable. In order for them to order the part I had to purchase the fix on that day which is also understandable. After that fact I came in on Wednesday looking to get my phone fixed already have paid for it, yet when I was dropping it off, the same clerk said so it’ll take about 2-3 days for it to be shipped in. I stated I already paid for it and he went to recheck the receipt and gave me, what I believe to be an excuse of; “yeah so Fed Ex is late which is probably because of the weather it’ll be in, in about 2 days” I have the receipt and believe they just forgot to place the order l, which to me is a highly disrespectful and unpleasant foresight on the store. If you’ve read this far... if they say they don’t have a part go somewhere else!Response to Owner: When the clerk said “it’ll be here on Wednesday” I respond with I have work so “the only time slot available this week will be 2:30-4:30, that ok” he responds with a yes. The next available date will be Monday on a work phone I use daily. You should know time is money and that was a big waste.
Love this place! I dropped my phone and not only cracked the screen, but I broke the LED on the inside and it was leaking LED. Had a HUGE blob on my screen for a couple weeks, could barely see anything. Took my phone in and the guy (didn’t catch his name) was extremely nice and had my phone done in an hour! And I was so happy!! My phone looks brand new and I’m very happy with my experience. Would definitely return and recommend!
I came in with a cracked screen and my phone was fixed an hour and a half later. My phone was being sensitive so I came back the next day and it was fixed for free in only 45 minutes. The worker also replaced my screen protector for free as well. I can’t remember his name but he was very helpful and very respectful. I definitely will come back again if I need a repair!
Scot was Great! I called last Friday April 24th for a cracked screen repair. He had to order the new screen and had it at the shop by Monday morning. My phone was fixed by 1pm that same day!! It cost a little more than I expected it to, but was worth it not to have to buy a new phone! I highly recommend CPR!!!
Their website clearly stated that they will repair a 2DS, even pointing me to the this store, and that walk-ins were welcome. When I entered the store, the employee told me they couldnt fix it, and that I should just buy a new one.I bought a replacement screen myself from Amazon and did it myself, probably cheaper than they wouldve done anyway 🤷♀️
I needed a screen protector replacement (Zagg Warranty) and the cost to have CPR install the shield versus ordering the replacement online was only 3$. No brainier on that one.Service was extremely fast and they were very friendly. They have a large selection of accessories as well as repair service for phones and tablets. Definitely recommend them.
Always friendly, always fast, and always a professional job. Need a new screen? They can fix it. Battery no longer holding a good charge? They can replace it. Heck, they even took care of my phones camera when the hardware failed. They are the first place I think of every time.
This may be the worst customer service retail establishment I have ever dealt with.I read online that walk-ins were welcome. Walk-in for what? CPR does not stock repair parts. They have to order parts for a phone as popular as the Galaxy S10+. No problem, go ahead and order, I will be back when the part comes in. NO! That is not how it works. I had to pay for the repair service up front, not just for the part, but for the whole repair. This something I am never eager to do. You never know the results of the service. What if they break your phone while fixing it? Too bad, you already paid.A week later I get a phone call letting me know that my prepaid repair part is in. I showed up the very next day, only to find that CPR ordered the wrong part. No problem, order the right part. I said.I was promised they would expedite the correct part and I would have my phone fixed in two days. Another week goes by, and I get a phone call letting me know the correct part has arrived.I decided I would verify the correct part was in CPRs possession, before I made the trip over to their store. I was then told I was eighth in line for repair and my phone could not be repaired for two days. WHAT!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?This place took my money, ordered the wrong part, lied about expediting the replacement, and then puts me to the end of the line of repair orders. This is where it gets good. After waiting two weeks for a repair, I said that I was not pleased, and wanted my money back. The guy on the other end of the phone was quick to let me know, they dont give refunds. HMMM, what if after waiting two weeks for a repair, they screwed my phone up? Tough luck, I paid up front.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!I am open to discuss the owner rebuttal, and I would love to be able to post a happy ending.2 Months and still no resolution.CPR has informed the credit card company that they would issue a credit to my credit card account for the amount I paid minus a hefty restocking fee of 35%. After 2 months in the waiting CPR has not issued my credit. Worse yet the manager or owner will not return my calls. Once again this is the worst retail experience I have ever had in my entire life. Please proceed with caution when dealing with CPR.
Of course Im going in there mad that I broke my screen. I didnt like what all they had to tell me. But at the end of the day I broke my phone not them. They gave me great customer service, the owner of the location gave me great information to the point I paid to have them fix another phone that I was never gonna do anything with so I have a spare. I didnt catch the owners name but he is a small business own that we need in the country. He gave me a permanent solution for my issues. Does business with a smile and very perfessional. I highly recommend this location in Fairlawn. Not sure of other locations but if they are half as helpful its a great company.
I am not sure how do I rate this service but absolutely not worth charging me $85.I took my Xbox with no power, they said labor cost $80 for opening, checking and fixing . I said ok and paid. At the beginning itself before even touch they found power cable was faulty , that would have taken 1 min to check and they still charged me $85.00.I’m not saying their service is bad or anything but the way charged without any service was really upset me.I’m not able to reply to your response directly, by the way, you never said to check the power card. You asked whether I checked the power card then I told there is a light coming on the power card then you said “ok” . So where is the question of telling several times. If you are caring customers then you could have just checked the power in front of me which might have taken 30sec or less.
We brought a damaged iphone in to be repaired. Scott immediately knew what the problem was just by looking at the display. The LCD was damaged when my daughter took the phone into the pool. He had the phone fixed in less than 3 hours and its almost perfect. The cost was half as much as purchasing a new phone. Were very happy with CPRs service.
I was charged $83 to be told there was water damage to my PS4, I took it to another shop and had it repaired for $100 and they never mentioned water damage , the associate had my system for under two hours and when returning my possessions to me, he forgot one of the screws. I will never take my business here again, nor would I recommend CPR to anyone else
The employees are very helpful and kind. They were also very fast as they fixed my shattered phone screen in only an hour. The prices are also much better than most places too. My one complaint is that the colors were not as vivid with my new phone screen. This is because the new screen is not as good quality as the original. If you want that type of quality, you will have to spend more money at the Apple Store. So, for what it cost, I am satisfied.
Friendly and helpful. However tried to get a positive review from me before they did anything. So basically buying a good review for $10 off service. Phone fixed and looking good. I would’ve given 5 stars but because of fake good reviews before service is done seemed shady and dishonest. But the kicker was no phone call to let me know the phone was ready for pickup!!
I was very pleased that they were able to fix my phone; I didnt lose anything which was my goal. Had I gone with what my carrier suggested, which was getting a new phone, only somethings could have been transferred I would have lost some things that were important to me.All the guys there are really friendly and helpful, I will go back to them again! They are a trustworthy staff!
I cracked the glass on my old Samsung Galaxy J3 phone. I looked on UTube and multiple people said it was easy to replace the glass and I could save a lot of money. So I bought the replacement glass on line along with the 7 piece tool kit and my husband and I watched a few videos ..easy peasy, right???...WRONG!! There is no way that glass was going to come off. In fact my husband ruined the LCD screen as the layers of the phone peeled apart.. I looked locally and luckily found CPR Repair. Josh said he would order the parts and the phone would be ready an hour after he got the parts and it was. Got it back in 3 days. Both Josh and Scott the owner, were very knowledgable, polite and helpful. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks so much!!
Initially gave them a five star review. They quickly repaired my cracked phone screen. It quit working the next day (and I hadnt dropped it) so they repaired it again for free. Unfortunately, that screen never quite worked right. It was not sensitive to touch. The screen has now gone out entirely approximately one month later. Take your phone somewhere else!
They did a repair of a cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. They damaged a part in the process of disassembling. It tooks weeks and and a lot of effort on my part to make sure they gave me a fair deal. When I got it back the screen was fixed, but the phones reception was awful.I ended up buying a new phone from somewhere else to get one that worked well and then I took the 8+ back to have it repaired under the warranty provided with the screen repair. The person I had been working with quit and their replacement was much better, but it still took weeks to get it resolved. In the end they provided a replacement phone which was in like new condition.Communication throughout this process was also lacking with no call to me to inform me when I should have been called.Since they eventually gave me a different phone in good condition and the new staff member was good Id like to give them better than 1 star, but given the amount of time and hassle to resolve the issue I cant.
We took two iphones for screen replacements on February 26 between the hours of 10am-1:30pm. The gentleman that assisted and fixed our phones was very knowledgeable, courteous and showed excellent customer service. We would highly recommend CPR Cell Phone Repair in Fairlawn Ohio...Thank you again!
Horrible experience took over two months to get my tablet fixed just a charging port swap 5$ part. Horrible customer service not accountable for there mistakes completely unorganized no one knows what is going on. Not to mention after all that still had to pay full price for labor and parts no sorry for inconvenient of having to call over 10-15 times and explaining the situation over and over again and hoping my tablet wasnt lost very unprofessional company. Tempted to report to better business bureau. And just started reading the reviews on here never ever right reviews unless it was awesome place to go but anyways they dont even respond to complaints even if they are ridiculous it is still professional to respond not just to the good reviews lol. Like I said unprofessional company! Place is a joke. Take a customer service class or even a courtesy class.
I had a terrific experience with the Fairlawn store after being referred over by the Strongsville store earlier in the day. Store manager Austin is clearly an expert, and while my particular issue was not reparable, he did help me with a creative workaround that saved the day and will help me get by in a pinch. I suspect that most negative reviews of this company are from individuals whose items were beyond repair in the first place and that their reviews reflect the final product rather than the top notch services and efforts of the employees. Shop here with confidence.
Both of the guys were very helpful and easily explained and fixed the problems plus went above and beyond with customer service.Went in b/c iPhone home button wasnt working and it turned out USB port was also bad; both replaced, just got charged for button. Then had to return b/c phone wasnt charging and was given a new charger cord free of charge.Had to return a 3rd time b/c phone still wasnt charging and my battery was replaced for free. All in all I highly recommend.
Terrible experience with this place. They said they could have my iPad mini screen replaced in a day. Weeks later it was finally done they said. I went in to retrieve it and there was hair and fuzz under the glass and it wasnt even remotely flush to the aluminum frame.I said I wasnt happy with the work, and they said well what do you want me to do about it? - instead of simply apologizing and staying youd fix it. Great attitude....So they say theyll fix it, and I go back in another 2 weeks to see its just as bad. I paid, left with my device and contacted the district office. Left message after message stating my problem and got nowhere. Finally filed a claim with the better business bureau and got a call the very next day from a manager, as if I hadnt been trying to get help for weeks. They finally remedied the situation, but it was a huge waste of my time and gas driving to and from the store repeatedly dealing with rude employees at this place. Never again.
I just called in to set up an appointment to try and have my phone repaired and to get an idea of what it will cost me and I was put on hold for over 20 mins. I thought maybe they just forgot about me being on the other line and tried to call again and was put on hold once again for an extended period of time. And now they close in 3 mins. I wont never leave one of my potential customers on line like that. Very unprofessional. As far as the quality of work they do i will never know.
Brandon and Sam were absolutely amazing! Brandon was able to fix my phone after I was told by several other places that nothing could be done due to water damage. Sam was able to help me get all of my photos that were not backed up for three years into iCloud that I had no idea how to do. Without them both, I would have lost all of visual memories from that time period. I HIGHLY recommend CPR in Fairlawn!!!
One phone three repair tries and then On third they blame me and keep my 300. Thieves. The employee also tells me one week he had to get approval from manager, the next week when he was blaming me after they had the phone for 3 days - was that he was only employee and owner. Liars. Go here for thieves and liars.
Stop here first if your screen is broken before setting foot inside your provider store. Had my display replaced a while back and it quit working today. Brought it back assuming that it would be out of warranty, and lo and behold its a limited lifetime warranty that they honored no problem. Great staff that is super knowledgeable about the current products on the market as well as older models.
Useless. Charged me $80 and did nothing (phone frozen on startup screen)_. Also , not respectful of my time. I asked the tech if it would take a full hour & he said yes. Saw him coming back with food at :45 past the hour--Im sure he didnt spend even a half hour with it. They also sent me an email for feedback, but when I click on the rating stars, I get page not found. Save yourself some money and check youtube for a fix.
I came in and told them what was wrong with my phone. He ordered the part for it. I dropped my phone off on the following day the part had arrived, he fixed it and it has been working great ever since. Will definitely go back there if I have more issues with my phone.
I stopped because my iPhone wouldnt charge without jiggling the charge cord. The technician took a look, went into the back for like 30 seconds, came back and said it was fixed. Apparently it was just dirty and he cleaned it up, tested it and sent me on my way with a big smile! Thats customer service! THANKS!
On 5/19/16 I requested an online quote to repair the charging port on my Galaxy Note 3. I was contacted by someone from a location near Cleveland and was told to call the location in Fairlawn, so I did. I asked about the repair and they told me they needed to restock the part, said nothing about it being a special order, and they asked for $30.00 over the phone and I agreed. At no point in time did anyone tell me this was non-refundable. If they had, I would have waited to go in and paid all up front. Before I could get in for the repair my phone was destroyed and I had to buy a new one. I called on 5/23/16 to cancel the repair and have the $30.00 refunded. I was told I would get a call back within 10 minutes, no one called. They finally called me back on 5/24/16 to tell me I owed them MORE money, which was ridiculous. I asked for the refund again, and they refused.I contacted my bank to open a dispute, and we learned that CPRs own website states that their repair charges are due upon receipt of repair, not before (check the FAQs section on their website, it states this clearly.) So CPR seems to have gone against their own policy by asking me to pay anything up front at all. My bank informed me that this was a clear cut case and that they would issue me a refund and bill it back to CPR.I gave CPR a chance to make it right; I told them before I hung up that my next step was to dispute with the bank. Their response? Have a nice day, sir.UPDATE: Will from CPR did call me to apologize and offer a refund, but not until after the last person before him told me to go ahead and dispute it with my bank. I told Will my bank already took care of it and issued me a refund. Upgrading from 1 star to 2, simply because Will had the guts to call and apologize. Maybe it was a rogue employee that didnt know how to conduct business.
Took my device up there was told they were going to fix it by 4 that same day or it would be ready the next morning $86 one time fee. 8 Days Later my device still does not work and they still charged me $86 Im not a tech guy but I do know right is right and wrong is wrong.
Very effective and Fast able to take apart a broken phone completely and diagonose the problem within 5 min. Wasted hours at the apple store waiting in line only to be told they dont take apart phones to check whats wrong with it. At CPR i was In and out in 10 min Very professional highly recommend.
UPDATE: William (Manager) provided me with a full refund for my trouble, including a 32gb card replacing the memory card they lost. While it was definitely an inconvenience he did make it right by providing the refund and replacement.Day 1: Drop device off for replacement. Was told it would be 2-3 weeks for screen shipment from Japan.Day 20: I call to check on device and they said the wrong screen was ordered. I told them to send back but needed it for a vacation.Day 40: Tablet finally fixed. In store I check it and touch screen not working. Workers looked stumped. They take in the back for 10 min and come out as cord was not properly hooked up to enable touch.Later that night: After fully charging it, I get home and try to set it up. Notice an icon saying SIM card is missing. Open SIM and SSD slot and both are gone. Speak to the owner of another CPR store and its standard that they remove the card. They obviously did not put it back in. Too late to call tonight to confirm. HOPE they have it stored somewhere.3 different times not double checking their work cost me time and money. I live 40 minutes from this store and have to go back AGAIN to get my cards. Not double checking the part size, not double checking the touch screen to ensure its working and not double checking the materials it came with has made it where I will NEVER refer them again. Absolutely dissatisfied.
The company website proudly proclaims, Expert Repairs, done fast. They also boast that they work on drones. Well......... I found out none of this was true in my case. I dropped off my DJI Phantom 3 drone on May 19th. 33 frustrating days later, I picked up my drone that they had managed to change the position of the prop guards and remove the props. They also cracked one of the legs on the landing gear. They did not manage to fix the issue. The issue was a problem with the latest firmware not allowing the GPS to work properly. I dropped the drone off to Igor, who obviously no longer works at this location. When I called after a few weeks to check in, I spoke with Will who knew nothing about my drone. He said he would check and call back, after 5 days, he never did. I called back and he did call back the next day to advise me that they were waiting on parts. I explained to him that Igor had told me they would call me with an estimate prior to repairing anything. I also told him that the last time I checked, firmware upgrades typically dont require parts. His response was,Do you want the parts or not? He did not know how much the parts were or what was being worked on. He did tell me that the drone was at the Independence, Ohio store. When I called the Independence store, they said they do work on drones but that mine was not there. When I called Will back, he told me that it was at their corporate office in Independence. He went on to tell me that they could not find anything wrong with it and they were sending it back. When I picked it up, he had no paperwork showing info on attempted repairs, he said he would call me when they sent him a report, he has not called. Will was rude from start to finish and should not be working anywhere near potential customers. I did notice that business was extremely slow every time I have been there, slow as in non-existent. Gee, I wonder why. My advice to anyone thinking of patronizing this business would be to take your device to a qualified repair facility. On a more positive note, my son-in-law, who is more tech savvy than I, took about 2 hours and found the correct firmware and installed it for me. So, other than having cracked landing gear and putting the prop guards back on right, alls well that ends well............
My PS4 needed repair. Game Stop told me that for $150, I could exchange a broken PS4 for a rebuilt PS4. I brought the PS4 to CPR. I explained that I had already reinstalled the operating system four times, twice from a USB drive and twice directly from an internet download. I explained that each time I had rebuilt the database. This had not fixed the issue. My first CPR visit cost me $85. I did not hear anything for a few days so I called. CPR claimed that they had been unable to reach me by phone. This is odd since I do not have a CPR call on my mobile phone and my phone number was clearly written on a paper attached to my PS4. CPR told me that PCR had been unable to fix the issue by reinstalling the operating system and rebuilding the database. In other words CPR tried the same thing I had tried and PCR had the same results that I had. CPR recommended a new hard drive but it was not in-stock so it would take 4-5 days to get and install. The new drive cost me a $75. Bottom line, CPR cost me $10 more than Game Stop and Game Stop would have done an in-store exchange while CPR took nine days.
My phone died so my husband took it to CPR to be repaired, specifically leaving instructions NOT to wipe the phone clean of pictures, etc. So I get it back a few days later and it is working but has absolutely nothing on it! Hundreds of pictures deleted! I knew that would happen. I should not have trusted some random 20 year old to take care of my phone. They denied wiping everything clean. Young, immature people trying to run a business. Not recommended!!!
After calling the store - we took the iPad mini in to have the screen replaced. It was fixed the same evening. That is amazing. I did test it in the car to be sure it worked. Once I got home and was playing with it more...Half the screen didnt work. Called the store this morning - they said bring it back and we will fix it! And they did! Only small issue it we has brought them a black iPad but all they had to replace was a white one. While I really dont mind it being white - I wasnt informed of this until I arrived at the store to pick up the iPad. It would have been nice to have the option to wait for another screen to arrive in black.
Says they open at 10 on the window and online, so i showed up at 10 to get my phone fixed. But ive been standing outside for 30 min now and they still are not open... if it wasn’t for the fact i had to pay for the part so they would order it I wouldn’t be here still. Absolutely unacceptable, wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE!So i had to take the time to come back and update my experience... ladies and gents i hope your sitting down. After they were supposed to open up at 10:00am (when I arrived) the first employee showed up at 11:06am then told me the repair would take 3-4 hours Even though when I first ordered my part a week ago I was told it would take an hour and a half to fix so I called Friday to see if my part came in since I hadn’t heard from anybody and I was told yes I asked if I needed to schedule an appointment I was told no just to come in whenever I wanted Thus I showed up at 10 o’clock when they We’re supposed to open but after an hour they finally showed up. Only to tell me that it would take 3 to 4 hours because the gentleman I was talking to at first that open the store said he would not personally be fixing the phone that he was waiting for his manager because he had never repaired that part before and I said that’s fine at this time it was 11 o’clock am. I asked if I showed up at five when he told me 3 to 4 hours later I said 5 o’clock would my phone be fixed i was told yes. Now at 4 o’clock I had somebody call for me since I did not have my phone at the time because it supposed to be being fixed they told my stepdad that it would be done in one hour so I showed up at 5:00 PM this is six hours after I drop off my phone to be repaired I asked to talk to the manager because I was told by The gentleman that open the store said it was not fixed yet so I asked to talk to the manager come to find out six hours later my phone hadn’t been touched.(losing the company a $90 quick fix) The manager Refused to talk to me because i was irritated and in my opinion rightfully so with my experience so far . He just told me he would refund my money after wasting a week of my time and holding onto my phone for six hours if this is how you run a company or allow each independent company to be run under your name it’s shameful I would greatly appreciate a phone call back because the people representing your company are doing a terrible job in after reading reviews after this all had happened And it coming back to a guy named Will H. As being the problem with not fixing phones and doing an awful job and being completely unhelpful. (He also gave me a bad phone number written on the back of my refund receipt when I asked for the corporate number. When i called the nimber giver it was to a competely different company, I managed to firnd the correct number online) I respected the first gentleman for being honest with me when he said he’d never repaired this part of the phone before so when he told me 3 to 4 hours I was fine with it but six hours later and my phone wasn’t touched is completely unacceptable by any business standard. Since the first guy showed up an hour late cost cell phone repair three walk in customers while I stood there waiting for them to open along with another customer that was there to pick up their phone. Poor customer service from the start!
They don’t use genuine replacement parts. I got my OnePlusOne screen fixed with them. After getting it fixed I noticed that the screen had a blue tint and flickered almost every single time I used the phone. This is the kind of screen that you would get in fake rip off shops in developing countries. Do no recommend them.
EDIT: update revealing more shady activities. The owner/manager (who seemed to be the only one who works in the shop) had a bad attitude and was vague with his conversation on how he would handle repairing my device. He interrupted me any time I spoke, and it took days longer than he originally said, even with me calling him twice over the time he was working on my phone. He insisted on multiple occasions that there was no sign of life to the device, when I knew prior and after taking the device back that the device simply wouldnt hold a charge but would turn on. Whats more concerning is that he claimed to be running tests, but never even asked for the passcode he would have required to access the device. It seemed as though he did nothing but the minimum and wanted me to say he could throw it away so that he could keep it. I ended up spending for nothing and **will not return to this shop ever.**Upon asking another unaffiliated location, the repair was simple, cheap, and done within a couple hours. REPEAT, I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION, and I will be returning to request a refund.
I took my iPad in on Jan. 15, 2016 and paid $100.00 to have the screen replaced. Last week I noticed that there was a moon shaped crack in the corner, which is one of the impact points from the original accident. I called and spoke to Will on 2.29.16 and explained the situation while inquiring about a warranty. He advised me to bring the iPad back into the store. I was hopeful for this to be repaired again by them under a guarantee or warranty, as it had only been 6 weeks since they repaired it. He said that this was not covered under warranty. The warranty only covers defects in the replacement parts and this was not a defective part. On the door, there is a sticker that reads 100% satisfaction, 100% warranty. ON WHAT? Go to APPLE! I discovered this evening while taking a closer look at my iPad that the entire half of the screen is lifting now. This was a waste of money!
I was disappointed to have to pay for a new screen protector even though I purchased a lifetime warranty with the protector that I bought. The technician explained that they didnt carry the protector anymore and I would need to buy a new one. I reluctantly purchased it with another lifetime warranty. Hopefully CPR will continue to carry this one. I will take my business elsewhere for my next phone.
I dropped my phone and busted the screen to my iphone6. I dropped it off to be repaired and it was fixed and back in my hands within 30 minutes. It was quick and the staff was very friendly.Hopefully I wont be breaking my phone anytime soon, but if I do, I will be back!
While the circumstances around my repair were frustrating at times, the staff never gave up on compleing the repair and they stepped up when needed to do the right thing when it was required to solve the problem and I greatly appreciate that about them. My phone is working normally now and the credit all belongs to their staff for the solution.
So I had my cracked screen repaired through CPR, and the first new screen kept ghosting and freezing. Now Im on my second screen, after a few months, its freezing all the time. I have to go back in for a third time to get this repaired. The worst part is, the techs dont want to fix it if they cant replicate the issue. I should have just gone to Apple.
Terrible.Unable to even reach anyone there for four days in a row. Just no one there. We were trying to check on a repair. When we finally got someone there, they had unsuccessfully attempted repair and damaged the phone further, but our word against theirs so we were out labor and bench fee and got back a phone in worse shape than when we took it in.

2022-06-02They do not stand behind their work. $180 for a defective part, and when it failed they refused to take care of it without charging me again. I would absolutely recommend that you go somewhere else that chooses to be honest and has integrity.Your reply is dishonest and misleading. The water damage existed at the time of the initial repair and was not new when the phone was brought back to you due to the screen you replaced popping out of the frame after a fall from a twin size ikea malm bed. This is less than two feet, and the phone was in a protective case. I have also included a photo with the actual measurement from the floor. This can only happen due to poor workmanship or a defective part used by you to make the repair. The ripping from the phone that the cable experienced absolutely happened when the screen popped out of the phone. If something that I did had caused this, I would not have been asking you to honor your work and would have been happy to pay for a second repair. I have included a photo of the as yet unrepaired phone, and as you can see, there is no crack. You are a dishonest person with absolutely zero integrity who has now proven yourself to be a liar as well. I wish you all that you deserve as such a person.

2022-06-18I can’t tell how the service was. My daughters phone was very badly damaged and I was hoping to be able to at least be able to pull some very important pictures and videos off the phone before returning it. Her phone was not being backed up so this was critical. Scott, determined that the battery was receiving a charge so we ordered the screen, next day he put the new screen on and we were able to recover the data we wanted. The service was professional, honest and timely!! Can’t say enough good about this place!!

2022-07-20The only place in Akron that will fix Galaxy A series phones thats not sketchy! The gentleman at the front counter was very helpful, and answered all of my questions professionally. Told me it would take a day or two to have parts shipped, which is not a problem, and also allowed me to include a screen protector purchase as well since I dont wanna crack my screen again. The gentleman told me it would take about 45 mins to fix it when the parts come in, wayyyy better than the weeks I was told by other sketchy places. In total for my A32 5G + screen protector it was about $160. Pricey, but, they have to make their money, and I was the silly one to drop my phone! Overall, Id totally recommend this place! Theyre professional, kind, patient, and willing to work with you!

2021-11-18Scott was extremely professional and worked with me to get the screen replaced on my Note 20 in less than 30 minutes. It was pricey, Ill admit but no more so than the other places I called AND the other places wanted it for a full day or longer. Ill gladly recommend when anyone asks me where to go to get their cell repairs done.
