Great little eatery outside dining which we had to sit at because of the restaurant was a hot place to sit but the leftovers were better the next night we made fajita nachos

In the middle of nowhere, mexican food! Yes people say its chainy but no its actually very good mexican food. The chipotle quesadilla was scrumptious. Pair that with a couple of jumbo margaritas and what could be wrong with the world? Stop by and say hi!

I had the mango shrimp salad. I asked if they could put it in a taco bowl, which they did. It was amazing!!!Ive never seen such fresh, beautiful shrimp. Im sorry I didnt take a photo. I was too busy enjoying the food. Clean womans room, too.You could always judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by how clean they keep their restrooms.

Ate here for two nights while I was staying in a hotel across the street. Online order was ready both times when they said it would be and the food was great. Togo margaritas were yummy. The hostess was great.

There was a guy running my table but I was the waiter. Was ready to order at start but he wanted to grab my chips... oh and drink. He brought my drink back and asked again if I was ready... but oh wait let me go grab your chips. Someone else brought chips. He came bake 10 minutes later.Kitchen gave chicken burrito instead of steak. He showed me that he actually did correctly enter steak into system. Chips were empty when he took burrito away but he didnt notice so waited 10 minutes til I could ask for more. Waited 10 minutes for him to show up and ask about a soda refill. No luck.. So I put the cup half way off the edge of the table. Waited another 10 minutes. Another 15 minutes waiting for check. I stuck my credit card also halfway off the table somewhere in that time. It was busy. Maybe thats why but it was out of the ordinary compared to other busy restaraunts. No anger, I had nothing else to do. Just noteworthy. Maybe he works in the kitchen too, I dont know.Cheese dip not as good as some other places. Burrito was good.

Food was very tasty grandsons enjoyed their food. The dish I ordered was outstanding. I had to ask three times to get my water glass refilled which is why the 4 stars.

Very fresh and well seasoned, traditional mexican food. The staff are real nice and very accommodating. Clean restaurant and facilities. The best ever frozen strawberry daiquiri I have ever had. And the price actually shocked me. For everything we had ordered and the serving sizes they offered(way larger than other restaurants), I paid a little less than half of what I had expected to pay. I would highly recommend Cozumel to anyone looking to enjoy a night out.

Very likely the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, and I really enjoy Mexican food a lot & frequently. Best fish tacos and camarones for sure. Great beer selection on tap. Wonderful tequila steeped with fruit was a nice surprise. The restaurant is newly renovated & beautifully done, and very clean. Service is exceptional, quick, and courteous.
Just okay. My cheese enchilada was not warm at all. The cheese wasnt even melted inside whatsoever. I decided to box it up to bring home and I just ate the bean burrito which was heated properly. The food was presented very nicely. Margarita was weak. The atmosphere and employees were nice.
Food and service were good and they practiced safe corona virus procedures. Only thing I wasnt crazt about the charro beans had little pieces of ham and not much flavor, also a little watery. The other food was good but just oreded enchiladas.

The owners also took the time to come and talk to us. Cant say it enough. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area looking to have a fantastic experience.

I love Mexican places in general but this is now one of my favorites. chips are top notch, salsa is mild, but perfect for me, and my tacos were killer. My entire party enjoyed their meals as well. And this place doesnt look like a pinata exploded inside.
My family and I to include my in-laws frequent this restaurant. We just returned from Mexico and were happy to finally get some good Mexican food when we returned. The food Mexico is terrible but the food in Cozumel is always good. The service is always with a smile and the owner is always on site to greet you. This is great dining at a great price from great people and a great business. This is probably one of our favorite spots to eat. Try the blue Margarita it is very good not too sweet and not too strong but just right.

Im happy to see Cozemel move into the building which has served as other restaurants. Based on their business model at other area locations, they will be successful here as well.
Was looking for a place halfway between Oberlin and Kent where we could eat outside and celebrate the election results with our college daughters and this place was a great choice. Great food, reasonably priced. We will be back.

The food was absolutely wonderful! Upscale food and service, reasonable prices! We had a fantastic time! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive , even with a full restaurant. As well as the other employees! I would give them a thousand stars i I could! What a great place to gonfor a date night! We will definitely be returning!
Nasty food was like out of a school lunch room. Their bathroom stink so bad me and my daughter threw up. This place is only good for their water down drinks.

Server was alright, but he didn’t know much about the menu. Food was extremely bland. Tacos had zero seasoning. Asked for sour cream on them and a huge blob was put on top making them a mess to eat. Seats were full of crumbs. Hostess was on her phone. Only passing through the area, but would not recommend as a place to eat.

Great staff and great food. However they started to “nickel and dime” any minor changes. Extra cheese became a 1/2 side of queso for $2.50, add tomato was $1, lettuce $0.25. Hot salsa is 2x the price of regular salsa. The last receipt is on my cube wall as a reminder, my department hasn’t ordered lunch there since.

Was very nice for Cinco De Mayo. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful despite almost every table in her section being filled! The only thing that put me off was one of the male servers kept grabbing the female servers inappropriately, and they did not seem pleased by this.
Cozumel is a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant. Food is always great and extremely consistent. Service is fast, attentive and friendly. Price is very reasonable. Ive tried many items and am never disappointed. Favorites are El Combo, El Pollo Loco, and Veggie to #4. Chips always fresh and great guac!

Truck driver here.. I bobtailed over from pilot after placing my order via phone, and food was ready and delicious and plentiful.. cant wait to try them out again.
Next door to the Hampton Inn I stayed it so big plus on convenience. Carne Asada meal was pretty good. Nacho appetizer with shredded chicken was great. Flan and cheesecake desserts were excellent. Didnt care much for the enchiladas, sauce is on the sweet side

OUTSTANDING. Veggy fajitas were LOADED with peppers, onion, tomato, carrot, broccoli, and even red potato! Generously apportioned for only $11 something. And friendly, personal attentive service from Carlo. We all had a great time!

They took me the wrong food and tried to tell me that they wouldnt take it off the bill and instead I had to order something else. I did not agree since they took my order wrong, and also didnt write down the order to ensure it was correct. To top of it all they didnt come to make sure stuff was good, refills, or if it was correct obviously until everyone else at the table was done! So by the time I wouldve had to order a replacement then Id be the only person eating. They were very rude and stubborn about the situation, when I even offered to pay for the beans I ate. PLUS, Im the only one to order a drink other than water and ordered the Seafood burrito, which is the most expensive burrito! So its not like I was difficult. It was just not like the other cozumels Ive been to which is disappointing because this one is in my Hometown!
My girlfriend and I stop in for lunch ,after hiking . I had the taco lunch special it was good . The chips and salsa also was good ,the staff was very attentive to us .The prices are reasonable . Definitely worth stopping back in some time .

Cozumel is a welcomed addition to the Richfield area food scene. Food portions and price for both adult and kids menu items were excellent. Staff seems friendly and prompt with refills and chips.

2022-05-18Spotted in as I was staying overnight at the Hilton hotel across the parking lot while traveling from Philadelphia to Chicago. These were some of the best nachos ever!!!! Spicy Diablo Nachos. Appetizer serving is HUGE so good to split or just have it as a meal as I did! Wait staff was friendly. Was a bit crowded but has a great outdoor dining area. If I am back that way again, I will definitely stop again for those nachos!

2021-10-15We enjoyed evening meals while visiting Cuyahoga Valley NP and staying at the hotel next door. The service at the restaurant and the food were very good. We also ate outside both nights and the patio area was a very pleasant option for dining.

2022-06-25We ate here for Dinner. The chips and salsa were great and they willingly gave us more, unlike other Mexican restaurants. Our server Bryan was very attentive. I ordered the Guadalajara Special. This was a very delicious combination allowing you to try several different items. We would definitely return.

2022-04-13I travel a lot and a Mexican restaurant like this place is usually a safe bet. Bonus points for it being next door to the hotel that I happened to be lodging in for a few nights. I expect the standard fare, nothing great, just decent stuff.My expectations were met and then some . The place was busy, the food was outstanding and I will seriously consider staying some place close the next time Im in Cleveland just to go here. Why would I do that you might ask? FLAN I consider myself a bit of a flan connoisseur and when its on the menu I always order it. The stuff here was some of the best and I really mean that.Ive only been here once and the chimichanga really was good but thats just one dinner. Typically I like to hit a place at least twice before I bust out the 5 star review but Ive made an exception here and I do it for the flan.

2021-10-17While I was pleasantly surprised that my carry-out salad order came with chips and salsa, I was rather disappointed by the salad itself. The container had so much water inside the meal sort of resembled an unseasoned, shredded iceberg lettuce soup. Maybe a teaspoon of diced tomatoes and cheese could be found? Disappointing, but the salsa was so delicious I would try this restaurant again.

2022-06-06Im writing this review more for my family who still live in Ohio. If youre not from a state with actual Mexican food, then this place is pretty solid. If you are from a state with actual Mexican food..thats not what youre going to get here. I found the Verde Enchiladas to be dry and the sauce to be...not spoiled but certainly not up to my standards since having lived in Arizona for 12 years. Its certainly the best Mexican eatery around and if Id stayed in Ohio, Id probably not know anything was amiss.

Tonight our waiter was lackluster and slow, all the way to providing us the bill, me giving the credit card and it took another 10 minutes for him to come by and cash us out. The food however was excellent as usual, and we wont hesitate to go back.

2022-06-09The best chain of Mexican restaurants in Northeast Ohio just keeps killing it with this location. Great patio to eat on. Great drinks and food. Not super expensive and you always leave happy. Go go go!

2022-07-01Made a simple carry out order of a taco salad and burrito. They said 20 minutes. I get there in 20, and 5 minutes later ask for an eta because I have 2 young kids waiting in the car. The girl at the counter said it was being bagged. About 8 minutes after that she laughed and said “he just gave them your order” as I watched a car pull out onto the street. So instead of offering anything she just laughed. I just left after already having paid. Was I supposed to wait another 30 minutes for them to make it again or wait for that car to get home and realize they had the wrong order and bring it back? No thanks. This is actually the second time having a similar experience here - won’t be giving a 3rd chance.
