We went to an event this weekend. And the venue is absolutely beautiful and massive. Not sure if its per the venue or the people running the event but everything was CRAZY expensive! a water cost 6.00 and you were not allowed to bring anything in with you! They made a man throw out a coffee he had just bought when he was coming in the front doors! Definitely money hungry! Im assuming its the coordinators..but the Covelli Centre itself is beautiful.
This event was my daughters graduation. and we were trying to find the seats that corresponded to our tickets only to find out it was open seating..a bottle of water cost $6..We had to wait until they opened the doors to get in..so glad it wasnt raining..just seemed unorganized.
It was difficult to get into the Center with the main road being blocked off during construction. There wasnt enough parking for the graduation once you reached the Center. We lucked out because we arrived very early. The Center itself seemed nice once we made it inside.
Some of the ushers not very good at showing you to your seats. Before a show starts they should announce to attendees to find their seat so that they wont have to be going through the aisles with flashlights on their phone and tripping over peoples feet trying to find their seats.
Attended a hockey game and for the most part found the facility to be nice. Was disappointed that there were no ushers to offer assistance and was disappointed with the snack bar situation. The lines were crazy long with only one real snack bar open and the line for the bar (beer and such) was also crazy long.Overall eased with the experience.
Terrible concert venue, first and last time here. security told me and my friend that we could re-enter if we got a stamp on our hand, when we came to re-enter they denied us entry even with the stamp on our hands & reshowing security the tickets that we paid for. hands down worst staffing at any venue ive ever experienced
Awesome layout for a concert. Security was good and entry was fast and problem free. The restrooms were clean. The waits could get a little long for the mens room but not terrible. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel we stayed at was within walking distance.
Visited the Covelli Centre for the first time. I think that it’s a beautiful building. It was so easy to get through the lines and seated pretty quick. I felt safe that they had security all around the building as well as metal detectors. We went there for a PBR event. The transformation was incredible how they made it into an arena that horses, cowboys were able to perform. The music filled the place very nicely. The lighting was great. They have huge monitors around so that people are able to look at them for replays or just to get a closer look. The seating was good. They have food vendors around the building. Bathrooms are close by and are kept pretty clean. It was incredible for as many people that attended the event it was easy to get in and out of the bathroom. When we left the event we were able to get out and onto the road pretty quick.
Our new weekend home away from home for hockey. Some rinks are stuffy, dirty, the food iffy and the folks a bit grumpy, not this place. Super nice folks at the ticket booth/entrance, and attentive staff that seem to really want to be there (a nice change), clean and the food is yum...love the fries and the folks in the row ahead of us I think had one of everything you sell and they seemed VERY happy...the staff esp the hockey team staff, really go the extra mile for the kids and the attendees. Its nice to be in a place where you can tell people want to be there and smile whilst doing their job. Even if hockey wasnt on the calendar I wouldnt hesitate about seeing a concert or event here...but the Phantoms hockey is the best!!!
When I bought the tickets I wasnt informed of the $10 parking fee so I had to run inside to their ATM and spend another $3.50 in fees just to pull cash out. Also our seats were right next to another person but on either side of them and us were 4 empty seats so we ended up spreading out
This place is awesome. It is super clean extremely large and as far as event Hall goes it’s top of the line. As with any large event hall concessions really do form lines quickly but this place has a ton of concession stands. Parking was easy and great although we did . have to park quite a walk away because of the large size event. Tons of security around and great lighting made the entire day and evening safe calm and great
The Covelli Center is a very great place to see a concert. I had seats on the floor and you can clearly see everything all around you. The bathrooms were very well kept. The staff did a great job of managing the crowd. If your shorter, or prefer to sit down most of the time, the seats in upper sections are very good as well. Parking isnt bad either, but there is no covering for vehicles, however, if you dont mind the walk there is a deck across the street.
Had a great experience but in the middle of the show I needed to change my 4 month old and when I went into the diaper changing area the lights wouldnt come on, there was no light switch. We made do and used my phone flash light. I didnt see any workers close by and just was trying to get back to my husband and daughter and the show. Otherwise everything else was great!
Great venue. Only real complaint was the security people were a little overbearing. This was for a Slayer, lamb of God, Amon Amarth and Cannibal Corpse concert to put it in perspective. They got into the pit to break it up. Frustrated a fee people to say the least. Great sound. I will say some of the security was outstanding!!! Just not the ones breaking up the pit. ,,/
Great venue! Everything here was perfect!Went to Disney on Ice.It wouldve been helpful to know that I needed cash for parking since I really dont carry cash.Maybe if the parking was included in the price of the ticket or a note on the site stating that parking was $10. (Maybe it is on the site but nowhere that I noticed - small print maybe?)
Paul Blart wanna be SCREAMED at us for accidentally spilling one $9.50 beer. Threatened to kick us out because we repeatedly do this (even though this was our first and last time here) reprimanded us for one beer accidentally spilling even though we tipped the kind gentlemen that cleaned it up. It’s their job, I’m not sure how a mall cop gets off screaming at a group of 30 people for one $9.50 beer spilling on accident (I mean who spills an $9.50 coors light purposely) was extremely rude and unprofessional.
Just went to breaking benjamin and papa roach. Parking was 20 dollars and close enough it was only a couple minute walk. Security does their job but are courtious and inviting. They moved us through quickly. Refreshments seem spread out nicely or at least the beer stands are but at almost 10 dollars a beer i am glad i do not drink anymore. The sound was very good. We had a great time.
One way in, one way out parking jams even a medium sized event up to unecessary wait times in order to exit. Now, full disclosure: I am a moderate size guy, however, the super-sized folks in attendance spill out and it all ends up on the people on the end seats (seat #1 for me). I sat mostly half way on my chair and half in the aisle with my wife mostly on my lap to make room for everyone in our row.Temperature is not well regulated inside (or it certainly was not that day) so it was very, very hot, even for a 1.5 hour comedy show. The fold down folding chair seats were not comfortable whatsoever and we were in very, very good seats.I would love to go back because the location to us is so solid but it is going to take something very special to do it. I admit, I was really looking forward to experiencing this venue for the first time but was largely disappointed.Positive: Nice selection of beverages and most folks seemed very appreciative of your business which is the good news. Especially on $9.50 beer night. It could be such a great, little arena, but it certainly seems like they chopped and cut where they shouldnt during construction. It definitely needs upgraded seating for the new, evolved, post-covid Americans.
Food was pretty bad... If you are going to charge that much, at least make it decent quality. Stale chips and tasteless cheese for nachos... And no jalapeños? And $5.25 for a bottle of water? I understand making a profit, but really?View was good from the seats we had... I dont know that theres really a bad seat in the place.
The centre was a quality venue. Open and great view of the stage from all areas. The one issue we had an issue with was parking due to the location of the centre. Traffic flowed into the main parking from three direction and creates a natural bottleneck at the one enterance. Recommend looking up offsite parking if you are going to a big event at this location.
Judas Priest! This arena is the perfect size to see a concert. We had great seats to the left of the stage. Great view!..... Do not buy beer from the vendors directly inside the main door. Wait until you are down near your seating entry area. The draft beer are far larger and cheaper. We parked next to the arena for $20. This was a mistake as when everyone was trying to leave it was a mess and there is only one way out. Next time I will side street park and walk in. When we left, we used Waze to navigate back to I-80 and it kept us completely away from the concert traffic. We will be going back for sure!
Would of been much better if seating was better and wider so that when the good songs were played by the band, I didnt constantly have to move for the beer drinkers. I sat by someone who went for another beer every 5 mins. The center seating is too crowded and not enough room for people to move around you. Irritated me thru the whole concert. I will def go see Shinedown again but not here at the Covelli Centre.
Quality venue, went to see Judas Priest for the 50th anniversary of the band, the sound was amazing from where we were near the back of the venue and from what I could see itd be easy to see from any seat in the place.Another bonus, I was near the far back of the top of the venue and did not feel any sense of vertigo which Im fairly prone to, so its not overly huge.
I was there for a Judas priest concert and the general admission on the floor had all the seats there. And it seemed to me like people behave themselves, a little too well if you ask me. It was a Judas priest concert for crying out loud! The staff very friendly all the way around
I have been here for a Judias Priest Concert and I am impressed it is if you will imagine an old school rock concert not jammed into an auditorium where your knees touch the seat in front of you and your up so high it makes you feel nauseous thinking what would happen during a fire . I like the Covelli Center the security is great we enjoy that these groups are willing to come here in the during winter in the middle of a work week it says the integrity of all involved are happy to be with us‼️🎤🎶🎼❤️ I have read other reviews and they should be ashamed of themselves complaining about parking I grew up on Lake Erie and we all find it exhilarating to walk a short 10mins. That also is an indication that the audience will respect the musicians and there music We were there to see Shinedown ,Asking Alexandria, Papa Roach All I have seen before they are the best in the music business ‼️all have no. 1 hits on the music charts truly professional and they are friends with each other and tell that fact ‼️
Covelli centre had a huge food giveaway which I attended. I will give the end result 1st: a large beautiful ham for Christmas dinner, 2 cans cranberries, 2 jars gravy, 2 gallons milk, potatoes, apples, 3 tubes of cinnamon rolls, a large package of large sausage links, a package of cheese, a package of sweet potatoes, and so much more! Now, to get all we needed to eat for Christmas week, I had to get in a line of cars at Market Street and Breaden at 9:45am and try to be patient as the line crawled for a minute and then did not move more than 2 car lengths for over an hour! Eventually there line moved all the way to Front Street and down Front to Covelli and then into the parking lot where we sat for over another hour once we were in formation in one of the lots. The cars were parked so closely that I couldnt open my door without hitting the car next to me so its a good thing I have a good bladder, although there were lots of people popping out of their cars and running toward the building!!! Altogether, my experience from beginning to end lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes. Not too bad for about $100 worth of food but I did use up almost half a tank of gas. If youre planning to go to one of these, know that it began at 10am and one of the volunteers told me there was a packed parking lot at 5:30 am.One mote thing: It was cold and food is heavy and yet there were volunteers with smiles on their faces shivering in the snow in the parking lot, lifting heavy boxes and spreading cheer. God bless those people. Covelli Centre had Christmas music blasting from outside concert speakers which was nice and they all did their very best to make things festive and happy as they worked their butts off. Thank you to them!!! This was definitely something to experience.
Cool place we use to go to the War memorial in Syracuse, NY for the crunch Games. The Covelli center fits about 6,000 but 1,500 rt now with Covid! But lots of seating left . Food is not bad its just movie theater food . Prices arent to bad a great night out with the family . Hoping the hockey team gets better
Came years ago for the circus. Went this week for Disney on Ice. It is a nice sized venue. You feel you are somewhere special with lots of people, yet it is small enough to be able to get in and out of your seat easily. Security was friendly and supplied me with ear plugs for my sound sensitive child. Thank you for that! We have no problem parking, nor getting in and out.
Have gone here many times for sporting events, concerts and the like and there is not a bad seat in this place, as the design is such that it is proportionate to the venue being viewed each and every time. It is also well staffed, so the lines for concessions arent as bad as you would think, plus there are staff members routinely dispatched into the audience, which helps with the traffic in the main thoroughfare. Small enough place where you ALWAYS have a great seat, but BIG enough to attract and book large venues/big names! 👍
Its a small venue but it kinda makes it more enjoyable. There are plenty of food and drink option but it is kinda pricey. Its no worse than any other but if you are going on a budget, its important. I have seen several events there and have never been disappointed. I do recommend buying a parking pass. Its like 5 dollars more when you buy in advance. But it gets you closer to the entrance and gets you out faster. 25 dollars well spent.
Cool place to see a concert. It is a pretty small arena so it is a more intimate concert for the arena setting. I am not sure if there is a bad seat in the house. The only complaints I have is that the restrooms seem a little small for the capacity and the concessions/food options are virtually non-existent.
We parked right on the side , price was 20. for keith urban concert. so easy to get in and out compared to other venues. the facility was nice, there was the usual food and beverages avail for sale.the is on the small side, but it was very nice and intimate , the sound was very good.not too loud or distorted.
Had seats on ground floor for Mercy Me concert. The seats were so small and were screwed together. We were jammed against our neighbor for the whole concert. We had to hold our arms in our laps. It certainly affected my enjoyment of the concert. The price for bottled water was excessive. Not a happy experience. Very sad!!
This venue is now one of my favorite places to see concerts. Its hard to have a bad seat here! Parking isnt horrible, the in and out was relatively painless compared to some places. Staff was helpful and looked to be on top of any potential problems. Will go to shows here again for sure.
Friendly staff, nice sized local arena, and great shows with reasonably priced tickets! UPDATE :since the Phantoms were purchased under a new owner this year... my season tickets are repeatedly being RESOLD and I am being comped better seats.I have season tickets on the blue line 2nd row for every game for the Phantoms ... This is my better seat a section over in front of posts... The new management makes season ticket holders call ahead if youre not coming to a game... Why would you have to do that... I never could figure out. I am not the only season ticket holder this is happening to.... Sad to say. It used to be a great experience... Something for the community. I guess it still is if you dont pay the $500 a yr for season tickets only to find someone in your seat every game with a ticket to that very seat while youre being directed to better seats.
My mother-in-law and I attended the Lionel Richie concert last night at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown Ohio and it was a delightful time. The staff was very on-point with their directions and seating was comfortable and spacious. Lionel Richie put on one hell of a concert and I want to thank the people of Youngstown for making it an enjoyable event there was no chaos and thank you to security for being on guard and on-point and helpful with directions and advice and showing love to the people of Youngstown. Thank you to our politicians that attended last night and was willing to shed some light on something and being a part of community activities and events.
The Covelli Center is a terrific venue. It was very clean(other than the bathrooms) and had floor seating which was great! The building has great acoustics. We had a great time tonight seeing Black Star Riders, Saxon, and Judas Priest!! I highly recommend their tour! And I highly recommend The Covelli Center!
Wonderful facility, went for a kids event, security was amazing with the kids, they 100% understood needing to take kid items in like diapers, drinks, wipes etc. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Easy close parking and getting in and out (just would have been nice if we were told ahead of time it was 10.00 to park). Totally recommend going!
Decent venue. Paid for pre paid parking in the lot which was good because there were no other lots nearby. Guess a lot of others know to peer pay for parking because there was a long line of traffic to get into the lot. The parking attendants didnt know how to coordinate all the cars with the police directing traffic.
Great venue for concerts, not a bad seat in the house. Customer service could be better though. If you call with questions you cant get through to anyone. Parking is outragous priced. And buy your tshirts before the show starts, we were in line after for shirts and security screamed at us. I understand they dont want to be there all night but the show had just ended not even 10 mins before we got in line.
Saw Disney on ice there. We got mid level seats but it was actually nice. There really are no bad seats in the arena. The concession stand were standard fare, nachos, pretzels, hotdogs, hamburgers, soda, water. They do serve beer, I didnt look too closely as I was with my kids and driving. The parking lot is big and easily accessible from the arena and not too far to walk. Bathrooms are easily accessible from the seating and there were no lines at least before the show. I would definitely recommend this for events.
Hit or Miss... I think the venue is decent (they are over the top on the searches and wanting - my four year old isnt packing)... PARKING... Ever feel like you are being taken to the cleaners by a bunch of grounds people who got to together and are faking that you need to pay for parking.. Dont believe me - ask for a receipt... If you are going to charge for parking PUT IT ON THE EVENT SITE AND YOUR WEBSITE - otherwise people like me will think the cost is just whatever someone thought up that morning... Also - if you are going to CHARGE for parking - STICK AROUND so when all the paying people want to leave - you can assist with the demolition derby - but apparently that grab for cash ended when the show started...UPDATE: Dec 2021: Parking for 11am show of Disney on Ice was TWENTY BUCKS. Then the cost of an icee in a souvenir cup and a light wand was >$60. My LAST ever event here. Unfortunate it resembles the Covelli name - they certainly dont run Panera like this.
Covelli is a good place to see a show as far as the visual set-up is concerned, but when youre speaking from the perspective of anyone over probably 56 130 pounds, those seats are the most cramped, uncomfortable things imaginable. I was just at a show, and thankfully, one of my friends was to my right, because our legs were all over each other, and the seat to my left was broken, or things could have gotten really awkward. The spacing on the seats should be addressed. I feel like Im sitting in elementary school molded desks at 25 years old. Otherwise, the building is great. Clean environment. Bathrooms arent gross. Employees cleaning during the shows to keep it hygienic. I like it. Ill likely frequent it more often then I do now, Ill just probably pay more for different seats that arent that cramped...Which is probably what they want.
Went to a paw patrol live show, fell going to my seat, no sign saying “ watch step” or lights for the aisle way, just dark and a foot drop with no waning, I severely bruised my thigh and arms, lucky wasn’t holding my child. Super unorganized. Everyone in wrong seat. In clear markings of seats and rows. Horrible experience. Food prices beyond expensive and nasty.
We went to Covelli Centre for a wrestling tournament. Security treated us like we were trying to smuggle in a weapon because we had a bag of snacks and a few bottles of water (for the 2 toddlers and baby we have). I walked a block back to my car, in the cold, so my kids could eat, only to come back and learn they should have allowed us some snacks for our small children, per their own policy. While I was talking with one security personnel another damn near put his hand in my 12 year old daughters chest to stop her as she stood nearby waiting for me, because she had a to go container of food which held her breakfast and a hot chocolate. The security guy I was speaking with told me I could pre-make bottles for my 3 month old (which I could not because they are only good for an hour) and I could only bring in one water bottle for making bottles (I needed at least 2 to have enough water to make bottles for the day). Once we finally got in we sat in an end section which was nearest the mat my daughter would be wrestling on. We were not allowed to use the restrooms nearest the section we were sitting in but instead were made to walk down 2 flights of stairs every time one of our toddlers needed to use the restroom. They also would not allow my toddlers to play (with myself present) in a carpeted area right behind our seats even though they were simultaneously failing to keep the stairs going down to the restrooms cleared of people who were sitting on them when we were trying to go up and down to the restroom and allowing other people to sit in the carpeted area they told us we needed to keep clear. When we complained to security about this we were denied a request to speak to a supervisor until we sought the supervisor on our own. Then they made the other family clear the carpeted area and allowed us access to it which wasnt at all what we wanted or expected. We just wanted everyone to be treated fairly/decently. We paid $15 per person to get in; The customer service did not match that price at all. The only positive was the security supervisor I spoke to when I returned from my car was very, very nice. He apologized for the way we were treated and confirmed we should have been allowed some snacks for the kids. This isnt a place Im likely to visit again as we live over 2 hours away but given the choice I will definitely choose not to return here again.
I have been to 10 plus events here ranging from kid shows to rock concerts and I have never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If your coming from out of town or if you will be drinking there are close hotels you can stay at and Uber to and from the show. Thats what I do! Great place!
This was my first visit. We drove 2 hours for a concert. Its a great venue. There were people who directed you where to park. That was great except that they were not at all accommodating with handicapped parking for a friend suffering from MS. Other than that it was a wonderful evening with ZZTOP and John Fogerty. Getting in and out of the venue was a breeze. There were lots of food and drink choices. A gem of a venue.
Parking is horrible currently!! If you know you have a big event coming up you should either make sure your construction is completed or you pass on holding such large crowd events until your construction is completed. You should never inconvenience your patrons in such a way as you did this year for the Junior High State Wrestling Tournament.
Went to a hockey game here and though we got here early the line to get the ticket and get inside was so long and miserable that we called in reinforcements to take my son inside because i just couldnt stand to wait any longer!! We had a Groupon that seemed like a good deal until the wait 😆 Parking was $5 and we didnt get to bad of a spot & the attendant let our replacement take our spot without paying extra after we left. Not sure Ill try this again.
Always a good time. Beer specials should be advertised better because $9 A beer is unacceptable and no one wants to spend that. The soft pretzels and cheese were pretty horrible, but the hockey game was AWESOME! 4 STARS because the food sucked. Would have been 2 stars if I didnt find the $2 beers!
The Covelli Center is a small arena that is used for a variety of venues including varsity sports, concerts and various shows. The seating capacity is 3,700. Good seating around the arena. More seating for concerts is provided on the floor. Box seats are available.SECURITY:Everyone goes through a full-body, walk-through metal detector. The Covelli Centre had many security guards at the door and throughout the arena to ensure safety.VENDING AREAS/RESTROOMS:The Covelli Centre offers space for a variety of vendors; depending on the venue using the arena. Restrooms are somewhat small for larger events.PARKING:Parking lots are available outside the arena for $20 (winter 2019 pricing) or if you dont mind walking a quarter to half mile; park for a couple dollars. Traffic Cops were directing traffic in and out of the arena as well as pedestrian crossing to ensure everyones safety.
The venue itself is great. The parking, however, was horrendous. We arrived an hour early and missed the first 15 minutes of our event. The parking attendants were giving confusing directions to everyone. Also, big shout out to the youngstown police department for leaning against their cruisers while traffic was backed up miles in all directions.
For the second year, I went to a Phantoms game during my visit to Youngstown for the Thanksgiving holiday. The center is very nice, and the parking couldnt be easier. The game was great, and I only wished that more people would show up to support the team. Im not a sports fan, and I really enjoyed the experience!
Phantoms game was great - food ...it was dollar dog night and they were spot on, but my wife got nachos and the cheese tasted like cardboard. It was gross. Chips were fine. It was also dollar beer night which was good. Choice of 12oz Miller lite or Coors light drafts.....limit 2 per person per purchase. Was a great night out with the family. The cheese was the only bad thing.
Biggest game in town for sporting events, concerts & the Disney on Ice Frozen event my daughter & i attended. Overpriced snack bar as w these type places but it is the typical mass entertainment destination. Ticket seller months ahead & seating staff night of event both nice folks. Buy tickets in advance. Leave bottled drinks & lighters & such in car or home. Security brisk search
What a great little arena. I recently saw Ghost here and was pleasantly surprised to see how quaint it was compared to larger arenas where the stage show becomes dwarfed. Ghost was able to do a full sized show, with all of their effects and pyrotechnics while affording us fans an intimate experience.I look forward to coming back again to Covelli Centre.
Got stuck on the bridge, waiting to drop off for over 35 minutes... meanwhile, no one seemed to be parking any faster than a snails pace. People were directing but it didnt seem to help because they were not positioned strategically. I almost gave up and went home because my mood took a dramatic turn for the worst..... it would seem they host events routinely and it is their job to get people in the door rather than wait in the neighborhood to park their car.
Visited the Covelli Center to see Disney on Ice. Everything was great! I couldnt have asked for a greater experience other than parking cost $10 upon entrance (which I wasnt prepared for and had to go inside to use the ATM) Im thinking this could have possibly been in the description before buying tickets or included in the price of the ticket. At least now I know to make sure I have cash for parking unless I want to park downtown and walk (cold weather - nope)
Absolutely horrible first prepare to be friskedWhile the cavity search was interesting I thought it was a bit much. They confiscated 4 bottles of water which again I felt was unnecessary. There was no place to park and no place to sit as all the seating was taken. Not only that the the prices for food and drink were outrageous the staff were rude and nasty. to the customer.
Parking was very difficult. Paid for parking at the Centre, but got stuck in traffic to another parking garage. Inside, finding seats was very difficult. We had to have an entire row stand to get to our seats and they were not as displayed online. Centre wasnt very clean either, but did enjoy the Hits Deep Tour.
PBR was great. Expensive for good seats but great. A lot of tough characters there, everyone stands for the flag, prayer offered in Jesus name and they know Who keeps them safe in that sport. Too much beer being consumed and spilled which somewhat dampened the time for us who honor God by abstaining, otherwise Id have given it 5 stars.
Some friends and I were going to see a hockey game and a security guard thought it would be a good idea to grab and yank my arm hard while I was in line for the metal detector. There was zero verbal communication from him at all about where he wanted me to move, so yanking my arm was obviously the best option. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Figure out a better way to keep people moving than yanking their arms.

2022-04-11I went to a concert here and had a good experience. It seems like there isnt a bad seat there, the view of the stage was great even in the far back seats. Bathrooms were clean. The only thing is there wasnt enough handicap parking for the event we were at, maybe reserve some additional spots when running an event that tends to have an older crowd. I had to pay for parking, then drove around and realized there were no handicap spots available, then had to drive to the front to drop off my father and get back in the parking line to get back to a spot.

2021-09-18Love catching a show here, esp since its close by. Its a smaller arena. So shows seem much more intimate here than a place that seats 20k. Basically not a bad seat in the house. Just wish there were even more shows here.

2022-05-27Great little modern venue. Large enough to showcase nationally known performances, yet small enough theres not a bad seat in the house!

2021-09-27Very nice place. I was there for a rock concert, and it accommodated well all the crowd. Not many options for food. Parking lot a little small and all cars narrow down to one lane when entering and exiting.

2021-09-18Ive seen concerts and a hockey game here before. This time I went to see Judas Priest with my boyfriend (who had never been to a concert). Overall it was a great concert! We were in the back, so the sound was great, but we couldnt really see the band very well. It would have been nice if they couldve had some screens to show the band up close for those in the back. The merch line wasnt too bad. There was one incident that got security involved, but I didnt even see what happened, just saw them removing someone.I wasnt expecting the $20 parking fee - thats more along the lines of what I might expect in Cleveland or Pittsburgh, not Youngstown. I only found out about the parking fee because I called to ask. Or doesnt say on the website if theres a fee or how much it is. Also, I had to keep checking the website to see what covid guidelines there were (which mostly makes sense since those keep changing).

2022-03-27Highlight of the end of wrestling season is the OAC State Championships. I consider the competition level of OAC surpreme and the Covelli Center is the perfect venue to showcase the skill level of the qualified wrestlers.walking out on that floor and looking up into the stands is a moment that so many kids have learned and grown from. Set the stage and the best respond every year.

2022-02-06Reasonably priced concessions. Family had a great time seeing monster trucks. Hope to attend a Phantoms game soon.

2022-03-11I love this arena (especially since they no longer allow Barnum and Bailey Circus)! Great to go see hockey games at an extremely fair price, lots of crowd engagement and giveaways/raffles, and an intimate enough space for a concert. Food is overpriced, but where isnt it?

2022-04-21There are so many great things to say about this facility! They offer a wide selection of shows, and sports, its definitely worth checking out for an enjoyable night out, thats close a wide area, thats close to Youngstown! Friendly, helpful staff, and very clean throughout the facility, including the restrooms, which is an important feature for me! Nothing worse than a unkempt facility with unsanitary restrooms! They also have a special area for those of us who still enjoy a quick smoke, or vape! Only thing I feel I should mention, not complain mind you, but be prepared to pay for their convient parking,so you wont be caught off guard. You can always park downtown and walk, but I prefer to pay to park there, especially at night events. Even better if you carpool there and sit the fee!! Just a thought! 5 stars from me,my family and friends!
