The hotel was located near a quaint small town, where their was a great selection of restaurants and retail. The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. After our check in we were told the hotel did not clean rooms until after the guests had checked out….so if you needed extra clean towels and sheets you had to ask. The reasoning was there were not a sufficient employee base to clean rooms. There was NO Food or Beverages. Although there was a centrally located bar and kitchen. However the excused given their were not a sufficient number of employees employees to operate these areas of revenue generating businesses. My question is 3 miles away is the village of Willoughby with multiple businesses open and operating. Why is the management at Marriott Courtyard not making a reasonable effort to Staff their property. My mistake in the AM there was a coffee brewer with typical old motel style coffee, stale and undrinkable. With the lack of services how can Marriott justify the room rates. The hotel was full due to a 2 day music festival and 2 weddings off premise. This hotel with the lack of services should not fly the Marriott flag.As a point of full disclosure I am a retired Marriott employee
For the cost of the room I would have expected something much better. I will never be staying at one of these again. The AC leaked the entire stay and left a wet spot that was sopping wet and grew to touch the edge of my bed. The staff did nothing about it after we told them and it made the room also smell like mildew. The shower drain wasnt working well so I lifted the silver bar covering it to reveal that it was filthy and full of hair from other people who had stayed there, it clearly hadnt been cleaned for a long time. There was also a small bug that I saw in the bathroom. The breakfast was not free and they offered nothing for the guests, the quality of the room is what I would have associated with a cheap motel.
We hadnt planned to stop overnight, but this stay worked out very well for us. We arrived at midnight so we didnt sit up late to enjoy the comfy furniture, but did get up early to use the desk area for telework, and it was nice to have the microwave and fridge to prepare morning beverage. Our room was very clean, shower with no tub a welcome feature, quiet surroundings, and easy to use climate control. Dont usually stay at Courtyard brand, but this stay has made me open to doing so in the future. Right off I-90, minutes from downtown Cleveland, with free parking.
This was, by far, one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. When we entered the room, we commented on how nice the bed area was. It appeared to be recently renovated with new carpets, bedspread, curtains and furniture. From there everything went downhill. When I stepped into the bathroom, my saddles were sticking to the tile floor. I looked down and saw numerous smudges on the tile as well as a small piece of tissue paper and a string of dental floss! I immediately went to the phone to call the front desk and the phone line was dead. So, I got on the elevator and went down to the front desk. I explained the situation to the woman working at the front desk and asked for the manager to come to the room. Several minutes later, the same woman came to room and said that the manager was not on the premises (about 3:30). She agreed that the bathroom floor was unacceptable and what surprised that the phone wasnt working. She went down to find another room for us. When we looked out the second room, the bathroom floor was in a similar condition and the phone again did not work. She profusely apologized. She then took us to a third room. Bathroom floor was the same but this time, the room had no phone at all. Now, by this time, my husband (who literally has the patience of Job) was beginning to lose it. He wanted to check out. The problem was that we were meeting with family to do dinner and a show and time was getting tight. He even said that he was prepared to drive back to our home after the show. But that is over a 2 hour drive and we would be arriving after midnight. Some rooms had a clock radio and others did not. The front desk clerk came back with 2 other rooms to look at. Again, bathrooms in both were the same with the splotches floors (I have numerous photos). But the fourth room had a musty damp smell in the bedroom area. By now, my husband is beyond upset. The fifth room (again same splotches tile floors) did have a phone and a clock radio. We decided to accept that room. By now, we had to change our plans for meeting the family. We rushed to get ready. But then realized that there was no hairdryer in the room- yet another call the the front desk person. Near the elevator there was a sign that said If you need assistance, pick up handset to call front desk. Well guess what- there was no handset (again I have a photo). At this point, it makes one question everything. Do the smoke detectors work? What about the sprinkler system?
The place was quiet and clean, except for the window. Looked like someone splashed some liquid on the window. It was wiped, but not thoroughly. Other than that, my room, hallways, elevator, and lobby were all very clean. Staff on night and day shift was very professional and friendly. Applebees, located next door, was an added bonus. There was no hotel hot food service due to covid-19 restrictions. I would definitely stay there again.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was immaculate! Very clean and the decor was beautiful. I normally don’t like staying in hotels but I did not mind staying here at all because it was very very very clean! Wonderful experience overall! Several restaurants around including Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Texas roadhouse, Applebee’s, Sheetz, and several more. You will definitely not have a hard time finding a place to eat.
We just needed to get away for a night. Front desk lady was very helpful. We had an issue with the TV and she fixed it. I did give three stars, would like to give 3.5, because there was hair on the bathroom floor and I had not been in there yet and my SO keeps his hair short. The rest of the room seemed to be clean and it was nicely done. We didnt utilize any other services.
4.2 stars on Google. Im not sure why. This is a dumpy and dreary Marriott with indifferent staff. Im a Marriott Gold Elite member. I reserved using my Marriott free night stay awards.Walking in the front entrance, I noted quite a bit of trash in the flower beds (yes, its winter, turning to spring, but clean the place up). At check in, the woman was watching TV in the lobby, ran over, did not acknowledge me as a Gold Elite member, but quickly checked me in, room 317. The lobby and surrounding areas were dark and depressing, with a view of the indoor pool, completely torn apart with pool stuff laying all over the place. The elevator to the 3rd floor was the noisiest Ive heard. Exiting the elevator on the 3rd floor, our assigned room (317) was right next to the elevator. Back down to the reception desk to ask to be assigned to a room away from the elevator (which is in my Marriott profile). Was moved 4 doors down to room 309. Upon entering, we were greeted with a small room that had a partially detached gasket on the bottom of the door, with a huge monstrosity of a couch and ottoman taking up most of the free space in the limited floor space available. Using disinfectant wipes, we wipes down the flat surfaces of the room, noting dust and dirt on most of the flat surfaces. The sink drain emptied very slowly (partially clogged). We spent our 2 day stay running into each other moving around the room. On day two of our stay, housekeeping took our used towels, but did not leave any clean ones. Back down to the check in desk to get more. On check out day, we requested late check out (2 p.m. is standard for Gold Elite members). The new reception woman told us she could give us till 1:30 p.m. because I was not on their list... whatever list that was. I did not inquire, at that point I just wanted to leave. On the positive side, the room was very quiet, near most things you could want, with easy freeway access. Certainly not a property worth of a 4.2 star Google review status.
We were very pleased with our stay. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. The pool and bistro were closed due to Covid-19, but our overall stay was still great. The location is great! So close to restaurants, the mall, etc.
Hotel staff was excellent, but spent 20,000 points per night for a bare-bones hotel. No free breakfast. Other breakfast choices were minimal. Standing water and garbage on roof top outside our room. Very few in-room amenities. Truly, a waste of 40,000 points. Marriot should be ashamed.
My husband, myself and our 3 small grandchildren had originally booked the Quality inn a few exits down and it was awful. Called and spoke with Sarah at the front desk on Saturday afternoon she could get us a room for Sunday and we asked if she could call if there w as a cancelation. She called us and made our trip absolutely great. She went the extra mile and it was greatly appreciated.
Rooms comfortable but don’t expect rest. AC unit rattled and clanked. Walls paper thin. We could hear other guests arguing. No complimentary coffee or breakfast. No ice machine available on first floor. Not even a pen or pad of paper in room. Hounds very poorly maintained. One plus was the staff were very receptive and helpful.
Positive: The room met expectations. Negative: The room squeezed in a small sofa bed (did not see anywhere that it was only a twin when booking). The pool had to be reserved - very limited number of reservations. Only about 10 families per day could use the pool (no other hotels doing this).
There were bed bugs in the room we stayed!!When I reported the issue to front desk on the next day, their immediate response and followup actions during next couple of days were very courteous. HOWEVER they did not follow through on how they have promised to resolve the inconvenience I had with the stay. If you must, stay at your own risk, only if you have no other choice.
We came to your hotel for a family wedding, and felt as if we were a nuisance to the staff for asking any questions. We arrived later in the evening, which I called to let the staff know. Upon arriving, we learned through a conversation between the front house staff that our original room was replaced because another guest complained. Because of this, we were removed from the block of rooms reserved for the wedding, putting us in a different area than our family and friends for this event. When I inquired about the shuttle services to and from the wedding, I was rudely informed that the front desk knew nothing about that, and was suggested to contact the bride or groom....on their wedding day. Now I understand its a third party situation with the shuttles, but I did feel that the front desk could have been a little bit more helpful. When the shuttle did not arrive at the reception, we called the hotel for help. We were told they couldnt help. We ended up getting an uber, but it felt as if the staff could care less if we were stranded. I consistently got the feeling from front desk staff that we were a bother, and all that was expected of them was just to sit there. Quite honestly, if we had to stay in Ohio another day after the wedding, I would have looked for another hotelThe one positive note I have is the staff of the café were just fantastic human beings. They were polite, answered to our needs, made us laugh, and most importantly, made us feel welcome. I wish the front desk staff could learn a few things from them!
My wife and I used the Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby for our wedding guests to stay at. From start to finish, the hotel staff were very professional and cordial with us and our guests staying at the hotel. For my wife and I, we were very happy with our interactions with staff in preparing everything for our guests to stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We were very pleased and happy with our stay, as were our guests. With everything that goes into planning a wedding, it was comforting knowing that our accommodations were well taken care of by caring and helpful staff at the Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby!
Staff was accommodating and the hotel is nice.two issues during our stay. the room heater needed to be replaced according to the maintenance staff on duty.we were placed in the room anyway only to have to pick up everything to move to a room that had an updated heater.once moved, the room was nice and warm.for some reason on day two of our stay, the hot tub was removed from service so that was disappointing. other than the above, the hotel is nice
My husband and I are frequent travelers and were very displeased with the smoke odor in the first room we are assigned to. After being relocated we then again were met with dirty carpet and a musk smell. The beds were comfortable and satisfactory. There being no breakfast included was surprising and also something to be displeased with for the amount we pays for our stay we assumed that some kind of coffee and breakfast would be included as it usually is in “nicer hotels” . I would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family, besides the convenience of location it was not worth the room rate.
This hotel is in great location and such a reasonable price we felt for the excellent service given. The hotel is spotless in all areas. The guest services were wonderful with very dedicated employees from the front desk personnel to the food service employees and beyond. The rooms were so clean and beds so comfortable. The food was excellent. We had breakfast for a group we were with the morning of checkout. Our rooms were ready on time to check in to and loved the noon checkout time. Everything was exceptional and all with our group that stayed at this hotel agreed. I would for sure recommend this hotel 100 percent.
We checked in last minute after experiencing an issue at another hotel in the area. The location was centralized and Valerie at the front desk was wonderful! Pool/spa were refreshing and a great way to relax. I was a little disappointed the coffee/bar didn’t look open most of the few times we were interested in checking it out. We had the toilet tank leak and it took a few hours to get it looked out. when they could finally check things out we were getting ready to head out for the evening so it was taken care of after we left.
Were getting married and will need a place to crash after the wedding. I reserved my room online on the Marriott website, but had some questions, so I went inside. Angel was at the front desk and had a lot of phone calls and a guest in front of her, but after getting through everyone she still gave me personal and friendly attention. She was very nice, thorough, and even added on the breakfast to our room as a gift for us. She was great! We looking forward to staying here.
This is obviously an older hotel that is in desperate need of some remodeling the rooms are old with wallpaper that looks like it’s from 1972. The carpets are stained with things like nail polish and other dark substances that we couldn’t decide for what they were definitely not a place you want to kick your shoes off and relax without having socks or slippers on. The upside to the experience was the manager who checked us and he was very personable professional and polite and took care of us When we needed to move out of the first room that smelled of mildew.
Hotel met expectation but the stand out was the breakfast! Hot vanilla infused oatmeal with candied walnuts and banana, avocado toast board with roasted tomatoes, pickled onions, dressed arugula, hardboiled egg and toast with jam and on my final day a cooked to order breakfast of eggs bacon, home fries and toast! Amazing! The breakfast staff was wonderful; friendly and accommodating. All of the staff I encountered were helpful and pleasant. My only negative would be that the bed in my room was too hard for my taste and I ended my trip with a sore back and hips.
Was very dissatisfied with many different things. This was booked for my wedding and I had been in communication with the hotel for months. I asked for a suite that was completely separate from my guests as to ensure privacy on my wedding night. It turns out the hotel room we were given was one that my bridesmaid turned Duran due to unsatisfactory conditions in the room. She was put in the room directly underneath us and they were able to look up and see us as we attempted to spend time on our balcony, something I was assured would not happen. The sign to the door was covered in cardboard, Im assuming to block out a hole to prevent people from seeing inside the room. When i went to take a shower I took 4 minutes to gather my things, literally 4 minutes and by the time I got back I the bathroom the tub was nearly overflowing. I then waited about 20 minutes for the tub to drain because I should not have to take a shower in standing water, especially on my wedding night. I shouldnt have wasted my time because the bathtub immediately filled again. My husband then had to wait until my dirty water drained order to take a shower. We had put leftover food from our reception in the mini fridge and turns out the fridge did not work...nothing was cold when we checked on it in the morning. I called the front desk to speak with the manager and was told they had no idea where he was And he would call back...which he never did. Worst experience ever and I will be reviewing this hotel on the various North east ohio wedding websites.
First time here, stayed in a block of rooms reserved for wedding, the check in process and guest service lady was awesome as ide never been there or wasnt sure how limo service to wedding was going to work. The room was nice and full amenities! The check out was fine but didnt feel that person was near as friendly, but hey it was early right! A big shout out to the A-1 limo driver, he was timely, accommodated to me and my schedule, and he was very nice and personable!
The Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby hotel is very nice. The decor is modern. It is very well-maintained. The staff are uniformly friendly, attentive and efficient. The room was comfortably furnished. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, almost like new. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again.
The staff was friendly at the front desk but that was about it.Being a Titanium member and staying at multiple Marriott properties, I can honestly say this property is not worth the price they charge. Dirty/black stained carpet throughout the entire room, dirty stairwells and hallways, air conditioner set to 60 and room is still at 70, creaky bed with linens that are old, off color and didn’t fit the bed (Checked the bed to make sure the linens were clean). Overall extremely outdated room. Do not let the lobby fool you.If in the area again, I will stay at a different hotel despite being a loyal member.
Booked with my wife and had a baby shower to attend. Once checked in we headed out to the party. When we arrived back we went into the room and then realized how disgusting it was. From mold in the bathroom to cracked tiles and stained flooring. The vents were covered in dust and the overall cleanliness was horrible. I understand the hotel is under renovation but these rooms should not be occupied in their current state. Especially when I paid full price for it.
Way overpriced. Im not sure why they charge over $100 per night. The continental breakfast isnt included, the pool was ice cold, and we were told not to remove the towels from our room, despite the fact that there were no towels by the pool, when we told them there werenty, they said theyd send someone to fill the rack. They didnt, at least not for the 15 or so minutes we waited. We had to walk upstairs still dripping. Overall meh experience. Youre better off going to the $65 dollar place right across from here.
It was very clean, looked nice. The bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi in the room was great. The breakfast selection is a bit different, but tasted ok. The service was friendly. It was an overall great experience. I would recommend this place to others. It was far nicer than other places we have stayed. I actually rather be there, than the hotel we are at tonight.
Overall my experience was great and I would stay again at the Marriott in Willoughby. The bed was good but not as comfy as I hoped. The staff was great. The Lounge area had short hours to get food or coffee that was a bit disappointing but again the staff was great. I did use the pool it was very nice could use some sort of music. I was the only one swimming and that was nice but music would have been good.
As I walked into the lobby I was greeted. The front desk associate helping me did not let me know any of the amenities in the hotel. I also had a romance package so I were to receive free breakfast in the morning but was not told what time the bistro opened. I called in the morning to find out how to turn on the jacuzzi in my room because it was a older model and the front desk associate said she wasnt sure because shed never been in a jacuzzi room before which was odd to me with the fact that she worked there. Other than that my stay was great. The bistro did a good job with my breakfast.
The stay was ok even though the hotel was under remodeling. My recommendation is to have more help at the bistro. It was a Friday night and it was only employee handling everyones orders. There was quit a wait but food was very good. The morning I was checking out I was unable to get breakfast since it didnt open until 7AM which didnt help me since had to leave at 6:45am. Finally there wasnt much lighting in the rooms.
Staff was good and the rooms were clean Other than that cannot say nothing positive about it the pool was nasty wasn’t even proper chemicals in it they didn’t have the pump running elevator was broken down they advertise that they have a restaurant or a bistro or Café whatever you wanna call it and that hasn’t been open for over a year then their staff takes my information to have management call me and I never received a phone call don’t go here
Good showers. Indoor pool. Rooms have balconies, fridge and microwaves. Easy in and out parking lot. Only one elevator for three floors it is kinda of small. Starbucks on-site, didnt try it. Friendly staff however their communication could improve greatly. Had an issue with special arraignment not being met due to staff communications between shifts. For this is why I only rate three stars
Great hotel in a great location. I got a wonderful rate at the last minute. With every penny. Room had a king bed, mini fridge (no freezer), microwave, sofa, and porch area. The sink was separate from the toilet and bathtub/shower. Wall A/C cooled the room down really quick.Parked in the front of the lot. It was well lite, and right on a pretty busy street, that leds to a main street. Its also close to a Cracker Barrel & Texas Roadhouse.
The queen bed room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed having the bistro in the lobby but it is quite expensive (a breakfast sandwhich is $8). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were a breeze. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service at the time. My only complain is for the price there is no continental of hot breakfast provided.
In all fairness they were booked up the night I checked in, so I was given an upgrade to a suite, which far exceeded my expectations. I showed up close to midnight and my check in only took about 3 minutes. The room was so well cared for and stocked, for three people it appeared, lone me had no need for the housekeeping services during my stay. I made a couple of requests at the front desk, hot cocoa and envelopes, which were provided immediately. I had an wonderful experience. Thank you.
I stayed for my sistera wedding. There were five other bridal parties staying that weekend. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, even late at night, and always helpful. I didnt engage in much else other than the rooms and breakfast specifically for the bridal party, and both were lovely. There was a miscommunication and some coffee that was ordered for the bridal party was neglected, but the staff did their best to amend. Everything else was prompt and nice.
Great stay and outstanding service! Came down to the breakfast to find out they had already closed for the day. A Very nice lady asked me what I wanted which was a coffee with cream and herbal tea. She gave me both with a smile:). So wonderful to be waited on by such a cheerful lady that went out of her way to accommodate us!
This hotel is beautiful, staff was very helpful and room was spacious and cleanly. just what a hotel should be. we did not spend enough time to truly learn about all the amenities the hotel had to offer, but we were pleased. only issue was the air conditioning unit in our room. did not work properly and we were overheated in the wee hours of the morning.
I have a family of three teenage boys and this stay was amazing for us all! The room was large so we all moved around freely, the bathroom was big which made getting ready a breeze, the staff was wonderful and genuinely interested in our comfort during our stay. We travel a lot as a family and this has become our favorite hotel by far!
Its a mixed bag here. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and what youd reasonable expect from an affordable hotel. While the housekeeping and bistro staff are genial and helpful, the front desk staff and management seem to have missed the seminar on customer service. I called down to the front desk to place a bistro order for pickup only to be told that they werent taking orders for pickup because they were too busy. I came down only to find the front desk staff shooting the breeze about who they were going to hookup with later. Hardly the kind of busy they implied. Additionally, I witnessed the manager get incredibly hostile and aggressive with other guests at the drop of a hat. So tread lightly with those staff here.
We stayed at the Willoughby Courtyard Marriott for a family wedding. Most of the wedding party and guests were there as well. It was a great experience allowing us to spend quality time with relatives we dont see often. We also used the fitness facility and pool Nice when you travel with a 10 year old. Breakfast was really good and the coffee (Starbucks) much to our liking. The bar stayed open later than time posted and that was appreciated by the young adults. Overall a great experience.
Overall I am disappointed in my stay. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott after our wedding. When we checked in there were loud obnoxious guests in the lobby throwing beer cans up and down the hallway. As we walked to our hotel room they dropped one of the beers on the floor and it was shooting out beer. Myself still in my wedding dress had to try my best to get past it without it getting on my dress. The guests were never told to stop or to try and respect other guests. I had 15 rooms of our wedding guests staying at this hotel, and I was not impressed. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite. It was small, the bathroom was extremely small and it wasnt what I expected.
We chose this hotel primarily for the convenience of the location for a family visit. It was adequate and price competitive with other like chain hotels but traveling primarily for leisure, Ive found more value for my travel dollar at other rival hotels chains. While we were not pleased with the accommodations and some of the amenities, we experienced a most friendly and helpful staff, especially the receptionist , whom we had for both days of our stay. For the convenience of the location, a good choice, otherwise, not somewhere we would stay again.
Two adults in one room, other room had 5yr and 3yr olds on sofa bed and 1yr old in pack n play crib. Indoor pool, paid breakfast or Bob Evans quick walk, full bar, free premium TV and streaming.second hand smoke and smell in hallway and even in room from many people smoking near exit door.understaffed: reluctant and slow to provide crib, arrived after I made multiple repeat requests but it was too dingy to use.breakfast service extremely slow; oatmeal was very good, while eggs and toast were very bad / inedible (I rarely say that).pool was very cold and over chlorinatedbathroom towels low qualityTV options were great, suite was good size, patio was nice bonus, walking distance to a few restaurants was convenient
Our family gathered for a wedding held in the Willoughby area and we all stayed at this hotel as did many of the other wedding guests. The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel amenities were stylish and welcoming. The rooms were also excellent. The hotel lounge area and bar was superb for the late night party after the wedding reception. I would recommend this hotel.
Everything was ok except the cleanliness of the room. I found a juice in the refrigerator and that makes me question how clean the room was as a whole. The curtains were also dirty and screen door on the patio was broken. The controls on the hot tub could use some work as well. We didn’t stay the whole night because of being uncomfortable. We left at midnight. Not worth it.
I honestly dont know where to start. I booked the hotel 7 months before my wedding to block off rooms for my guests. The event manager never called me back when I had questions about the information to forward toMy guests. In fact, she never called me back after I would leave messages inquiring about the hotel from the beginning. They then release my block of rooms before the agreed upon date for my guests. They had to book the rest of my family and friends at another hotel a town away, promising to shuttle them back to the hotel at the end of the night. At the end of the night, it took my parents and guests over an hour after they called for the shuttle to arrive and pick them up. It didnt pick them up until 1am. After my mom verified that all of her rooms were in order, she came back at 1am to find that one of the rooms were no longer available and given to someone else. At 1am my immediate family did not have a room on my wedding night. I tried to call the manager Carrie to verify it beforehand, left her a message, and of course she didnt call back. The woman working the desk that morning was so rude to my mom, giving her no help or empathy for a situation they caused. My parents in law were charged for a meal they never ate. And when they tried to get it removed the front desk rep was extremely rude. We came to to this place because it was recommended. After weddings, brides always share their amazing vendors for future couples. I have been able to say nothing positive about this place, and if anything, only told my friends to stay away from it for the poor management and horrible customer service. Iv never had such difficulties with a vendor, especially one I booked 7 months ahead of time. Never again.
Hotel was clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the fitness center. This is not a reflection of the staff efforts or attentiveness. I will assume this is a corporate budget division, but the equipment is in poor condition and the lack of disinfectant wipes is sub par.
Thank you for your amazing service. Coordinating over 60 guests in one hotel is a scary task. Carrie, the event coordinator made the booking procedure painless. Michelle at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our guests were comfortable and that our wedding weekend went off with out a hitch. She even found us a last minute limo bus to escort our bridal party, calling around to make sure we got the best price! They were absolutely amazing!!
The hotel was clean and fairly comfortable. Small TV, very poor restaurant option and poor bathroom lighting. Overall it was fine for my needs. Internet worked just fine as well. Restaurant took a very long time in the morning for breakfast and the service was poor. Checking in and other staff were prompt and helpful.
I travel a lot in business and had never stayed at this property before. It was excellent in comfort, convenience and service. Temperatures were good in rooms and everything very clean. Many restaurants are in walking distance including an a Applebees adjacent to parking lot.easy off and on I-90. Staff couldnt have been more accommodating.
We had our wedding at a partner location which afforded us a free shuttle. I could not be happier with that arrangement! The reception was a blast and our crew did not want to stop the party. Back at the Courtyard, we had a full bar and a private room off the lobby that was perfect for a late night drink. Even some snacks for our guests! Every single person we interacted with was respectful, knowledgable, and seemed genuinely excited for our very recent marriage. I cant recommend this hotel enough!
The toilet never flushed properly, the windows were not even close to clean. The gfi outlet by the sink was partially out of the wall. There were no ice or vending machines on our floor. The front desk staff talked over our complaints in an effort to explain them away and basically shut us up. Wish I could rate this zero, or negative. Extremely upset about all aspects of this hotel.
We had made reservations for a jaccuzi suite but instead they had us in a regular room. The front desk attendant was fantastic and corrected it after some time. The walls are very thin and we could hear neighbors as well as every noise in the rest room. The rooms were very clean though.
Ive just spent 4 weeks staying at the Willoughby Courtyard on a business trip.I have found all the staff excellent, friendly, polite, courteous and doing a great job. I was made to feel very welcome and taken well care of.My room was comfortable and quiet.Hotel amenities are good.I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed here for a wedding nearby and I was glad I did! The staff was superFriendly upon check-in and throughout my stay. Each time I ran into someone on staff they would stop and ask how my day and stay was going. Hotel and rooms very clean. We sat in the lobby and had some Beers (easily charged to the room) while watching the Ohio state game as we waited for the shuttle. Beds and pillows could be a bit more comfy if Im nit-picking but otherwise everything was great! Id come back if in the area.
I travel to the Willoughby Hills OH area about 3 to 4 times a year. I typically have stayed around the Beachwood area as I know the hotels there are fine, clean and maintained well. Just for my family, I thought I would try to stay a little closer as I would be needed so, tried the Marriott Courtyard. Wow, was I impressed. The rooms, the service, the staff, the amenities, I felt this was exactly what I was looking for and close to home. I had been staying at hotels that were too far away so I was getting back too late to enjoy any perks. Then getting up too early to enjoy breakfast. But here, I felt relaxed and could enjoy what I wanted. Perfectly planned hotel with all the conveniences of a resort but on a nicer budget. Great hotel. I think Im staying with them again.
I treated my husband and I to a Sweetest Day stay and picked the Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby hotel. We also needed to be up and at em on Saturday to help our daughter move from Chardon to Eastlake. The location was perfect being right off SR 91 and the freeway. I booked the room via Trip Advisor. Rachel at the front desk was super helpful both at check-in and check-out, and during our one-day stay. The Bistro is very nice and being the early riser I had a breakfast sandwich and a Starbucks coffee. The lady who waited on me was delightful. We both missed free coffee in the lobby though. Overall great stay!
The staff were all nice and helpful but the rooms were terrible. The bathroom has something all over the ceiling that I didn’t dare to touch and investigate. The ceiling in the room had apparent water damage and the clock was broken. The beds are incredibly firm and the pillows didn’t have much support. Outside the hotel, you could tell that they had made some repairs to the siding but didn’t have the correct paint color but decided to proceed anyways. Overall the stay was less than what I expect from a Marriott hotel. This will likely be my last stay at a Courtyard.
Clean room, warm pool. The lobby was nice and clean, as was the (2-queen) room. I wish there were some sort of breakfast included in the fee, but what we got was nice, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a CVS. The swimming pool water was warmer than usual, which was nice for the kids.
We stayed here for one brief night during the holiday period, as we drove cross-country. I booked online using my phone as we drove. Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in and checkout. The hotel is stylish and clean. We had a restful night before getting on the road the next morning. Id recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area or need to stop along I-90 for the night.
Clean and efficient business traveler hotel in a convenient location close to highway. Small workout area, also pool and patio available. Nice little lounge with finger foods to order and decent premium liquor selection. Friendly staff but minimal, which was fine to me. Plenty of snacks, cold drinks and some frozen dinners avail for purchase at front desk.
Was told a price and was charged 42 dollars more than the price quoted. The issue with the price was my fault I saw a charge come through but it was just a hold the charge that came through was the correct amount. So I have changed the review to a 4. The staff are very friendly and the bed was very comfortable. I apologize for any misunderstanding.
If you want a memorable stay for your wedding day and guests, dont stay here. At 11am was told to quiet down when music was playing quietly in the background while getting my hair and make up done. Also had over 26 rooms booked for my wedding night, I made guest bags for each guest. Received 20 bags back because the front desk who offered this service didnt pass them out.
Staff was excellent and helped me find a room even though it was booked (got me in on a last minute cancellation). Everything is clean and everyone is friendly. Breakfast could have been a little quicker but when it came it was great - probably serves me right for ordering eggs when I only had about 30 minutes for breakfast.
My stay was very nice and comfortable the food and the lobby is very nice and inviting the lounge was very relaxing the bartenders were very nice however the bar stools were very uncomfortable the food at the lounge was pretty good the staff was very nice I would definitely stay there for my next business trip the location is right by the highway and not far away from the location of my meetings. Thank you Marriott keep up the good work!!
I have been traveling all week. I thought I had already found the worst hotel on this trip but low and behold I stayed here. The layout of the room is confusing. The tv has lines on it because its not connected properly. The spring bed creaks but is vaguely comfortable though. The sink is disconnected from the tub and toilet. I thought Marriots were premium but Ive stayed at Holiday Inn expresses oh higher quality for less
The staff is nice, got a deluxe room with hottub for honeymoon. The bed was uncomfortable, laundry soap gave us both hives. The exhaust fan was so loud you can hear the TV which ruined the hot tub experience. No movie channels , Roku wouldnt connect with WiFi without paying an additional 5 bucks a day. Lobby was littered with large TVs and the deluxe room had a 28 inch TV.
I am a loyal Marriott customer and have never been treated so poorly by such an incompetent staff. On checking in the front desk clerk wanted to charge me an extra $50 for a deposit saying that the taxes just went up. I checked with other guests in my group and they were not charged. In fact, when one of my friends came up and I told her what was happening, the clerk immediately changed her tune.I was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Although the room was nice, the jacuzzi was non-operational. Very disappointing! The check out desk clerk was just as incompetent and rude. If youre looking for a hotel that is welcoming, the staff is efficient and the promised amenities work, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
I’d like to give a shout out to all members of staff during my stay of the first week into 2019!I’d say the standards are set high in Willoughby’s Marriot.I’ve experienced many Hotels around the world and I’ll say having evening front desk manager Deanne always addressing me by last name with a welcoming smile is nothing but five star! The Lobby is cozy done up in a Artsy way with a mid century feel of swivel chairs.Bistro member Aryyn with presentation of cuisine and taste was a delight as well- having a unique way of jazzing up tomato soup on a chilly night with her secret ingredient that she was kind enough to share. You might want to make your reservation with a pot pie before they sellout delicious!
It was dirty. There was mold on bathroom ceiling. The conference room we had reserved was not clean garbage on the floor. It was clearly not vacuumed and tables were not wiped down. I had insist they clean it for the next day. The outlet in the front of conference room did not work. Some of the staff were rude and unwilling to make accommodations to meet our needs. Would not recommend.
I have stayed at the Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby a number of time over the past three years. The people behind the desk are very friendly and are interested in serving your needs. The rooms are clean and smell wonderful. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance. Plus they have a very adequate lobby food service, and breakfast. I believe it is the best hotel available in the area. I would totally recommend it!
The Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby is just what I hope for in a hotel. The staff is friendly, attentive and thoughtful. The facilities, while a little dated, are clean and well kept. The restaurant service (I only experienced breakfast) was simple, solid and very well done. The fitness center was basic, but more than filled my needs (In a previous career I was a personal trainer). Once more, I want to call out the staff. Nice facilities can be transformed into a great experience with a thoughtful well trained staff, and that is what I found at Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby.
What a wonderful four days we had celebrating our son and new daughters wedding with family and friends. A special thank you goes to Carrie, the event coordinator that assisted the bride and her mother in setting up the accommodations for over 60+ out-of-town guests. Special recognition and a huge thank you to Michelle, our wedding angel at the hotel. We cannot even begin to list all of the things that she helped us with Friday through Sunday. She went out of her way to help the photographers on the wedding day with everything they needed. The Courtyard Marriott are very lucky to have someone like her to represent their company and this establishment in particular. The memories that all of us made this special weekend will last forever and we were all very lucky to have it take place at your hotel. Thanks again so much.
The staff was nice and the hotel looked great. However, the hot tub is a concern. It was closed, then opened, and then closed again AFTER we used. This caused concern as to why the hot tub closed again. Finally, Marriott should offer complimentary breakfast options to Rewards members at the Courtyard properties. All other properties seem to have a complimentary breakfast option.
I wasnt the one staying, it was just my home base. I met an out of town coworker for a business event and he was staying there. I saw the room, pool, and lobby though and it all seemed very nice. His first floor room had a jacuzzi tub rifht next to the king size bed.
We blocked off rooms for a wedding party. I reserved a king room and was given a double room without being asked if this was okay. When I asked, I was told the King room I reserved was unavailable. Our block of rooms were scattered throughout the entire hotel and others in our party also received different rooms than they reserved. The rooms themselves were nice though, but I would not recommend for any type of group stay.
The beds were great for 2 reasons: There are no (unwashed) bedspreads on the beds. Everything is freshly washed. Also the beds are not pillow topped, where, if you have a bad back like I do, you feel great in the morning! The last thing I want to do at a motel is to have to sleep on the floor because the beds are too soft. These were not too hard, though. Highly recommend!
The hotel and property is well maintained and conveniently located within walking distance amongst local restaurants, stores, pharmacies, etc. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were of excellent quality. An indoor pool and jacuzzi is icing on the cake. I Would highly recommend staying at the Courtyard. The cost is reasonable and the quality for the cost is exceptional.
This is such a great hotel. I have been coming up to this area for months for work and have not been happy with the other hotels I have been to. Very helpful and nice staff... That checked me in and working in the bistro tonight. Will now be staying here when I come back to town for work. Very clean and comfortable.
Sometimes you dont know what to expect with a bed and breakfast, since its not like a chain hotel. But that can also be part of the charm. Every bed and breakfast proprietor has their own way of doing things. The following is our experience. We made our reservation months in advance.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times I the past couple of years. It is the nicest hotel and the closest hotel to a family member we visit on a regular basis. We love using the pool and were glad it was so warm on this particular visit. The room was clean and has extra pillows for our stay.
If my husband wasnt tired from driving 6 hours, I would have wanted to check other hotels in the area for more reasonable rates. Unfortunately, we decided to spend our one evening on the road with Marriott Courtyard but we were very disappointed with many aspects of our stay. Obviously, it was very pricey and the hotel did not offer a complimentary breakfast or even coffee, which every other hotel we stay in DOES provide (I will not use the room coffee maker or drinking glasses for sanitary reasons). The bed was not that comfortable and the pillows were flat. The whirlpool was out of order but thankfully the pool was open. The room air conditioner did not cool the room sufficiently and the wall paper was falling of the walls in several areas. The room did not provide complimentary water either. In fact there was a bottle of water in the room with a price tag of $3.00!!! We will not consider staying in another Marriott Courtyard in the future when there are many other hotel options available that provide amenities and are more sensitive to the everyday traveler and their comfort.
Clean room, comfy bed.TV had internet streaming option for free, which allows to choose movies on Showtime, Netflix, or HBO to watch without commercials.Starbucks coffee for sale in the lobby. The pool had a gross film on the top of the water. Not sure what it was but sure we werent going to swim in it. Had to take a star off for that.
We have stayed here many times over the past few years, and each time the staff has been excellent -- friendly, helpful, efficient, professional, and going out of their way to make us feel welcome and to help us with any needs we have. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located. The restaurant food is very good, and its great to have a fitness center and pool/whirlpool accessible for extended hours. Nearby Cleveland MetroParks are great for walking.
We were driving by Cleveland as we were relocating from New England to Chicago. We had boxes and suit cases in the car. The hotel seemed nice and clean. The parking lot seemed safe and we were able to view our car from the room. We paid a little over $100 in midweek for a large beautiful room. Left my watch there and the when I called the staff found it and FedExd it to me (I was responsible for the shipping fees).
I was given a senior rate with no hassle; booking was done online. I was greeted b friendly staff who turned out to be very helpful-they were glad to freeze several icepacks for me as the next day I had a supply of bottled water I needed to keep cold for the 600 mile trip home. My 5 year old grandson enjoyed the pool that evening before going to bed.
We first looked at the pool and hot tub. The pool was dirty and had a large pile of hair and dirt floating on top. The hot tub water looked a dirty brown. Needless to say this spoiled our plans to use the hot tub and pool. We were extremely disappointed and since Marriott said our stay on points was non refundable we just went to our room and rested. The room and rest of hotel was clean at least. Considering the cost and premium for a Marriott hotel this is bad, you might expect for a low cost motel but not for Marriott.
This hotel is in a convenient location, and is very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. While the mattress wasnt great, it wasnt the worst either. Far enough off the highway that noise wasnt a factor. As hotels in the area go, I would recommend this to anyone.
The front desk was very helpful when they realized we were not with one of the 2 wedding parties. They made sure that we were willing to move from our king room that was in the vacinity of the wedding guests and gave us a 2 queen room that was at the end of a quiet hallway.
Very basic hotel. The lobby reminded me of a motel more than a hotel. No room service. An overpriced restaurant with mediocre food. The location is convenient, but not attractive in the least, surrounded by low-end chain restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of outlets.
We had a block of rooms booked with this hotel and had issues from the very beginning. I had tried to call for 3 weeks to change my room with no return phone call from their sales manager. My husband then called and spoke to a manager and told them we no longer wanted the jacuzzi sweet and wanted a regular room since we did not meet our block goal. They told us that wasnt possible because the hotel was full that night. He then asked them to charge us the regular room rate because we had been trying to change rooms for weeks and no one would return our calls ( the front desk told us that they were not permitted to make that change and we would have to speak to the manger). When it was all said and done, they told my husband that the room would be comped. We showed up on our wedding night and turns out our room was not comped and we still had to pay for it. Terrible customer service! I would never recommend this hotel to friends or family and definitely not for brides who are making accommodations for their guests .
Really loved staying at the Courtyard Willoughby. The rooms were nicely appointed and the service was definitely a thumbs up for me! I ate in the Bistro Pub in the lobby and not only was the food wonderful, but the staff was first class. Would definitely recommend the Courtyard Willoughby to anyone passing through Cleveland.
Easy access from the highway. Close to tons of chain restaurants. Clean updated hotel. Streaming services through hotel TV using personal subscription. Small workout room with treadmill and dumbbells. Pool and jacuzzi. Small breakfast selection with small Starbucks selection.
We are an African-American family, and were given one of the worst rooms located in the hotel. It was room #219 - located by the ice machine, the elevator and over the lobby, and thus, the view out the window was the entryway rooftop. We will never stay at this hotel again, and will seriously consider whether we will ever stay at another Marriott hotel. We will tell our family & friends about the experience, as well as our business associates. Thankfully, my children are still relatively young and trusting and did not notice the humiliating room location. Time has come and long since passed when large hotel corporations like the Marriott should be using a guests race, ethnicity, nationality, religion and/or sexual orientation to give room accomodations in the back of the bus (so to speak). It was late - my children and I tired, and therefore, I did not want to take the time to disrupt my childrens evening to complain. This kind of bigoted behavior continues, and perhaps, even flourishes, b/c good, decent, God-fearing people like us dont complain. Our hard-earned dollars are just as important as any others. This situation grieves me. Thank you.
Staying with Marriott has always been a pleasant experience. On my last trip to Ohio, the usual hotel was booked so I had to use the one in Willoughby. The A/C was currently under repair that day, which made it a little warm in the lobby areas. The staff improvised and adapted with ease and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the added suprise of a jacuzzi tub next to the king size bed for ultimate relaxation.
I really cant say I love it because we didnt get the room we reserved. Well we didnt get one at all. We booked on Orbitz and by the time we arrived at 11:30 pm the had given our room away even thought it was confirmed and paid for. I guess there was a concert close to it and Im sure they sold the room at a higher rate from under us. They tried to find a room and sent us to this horrible hotel under renovation and that was an understatement. It had windows covered in plastic and construction all around. To no avail we never got a room and had to sleep in a rest stop with 2 children in the car. Well Ohio has no law like NY against cars running in rest stop so we were over come by deisel fumes from trucks. We complained to Orbitz to get refund and they stated it was Marriott that owed us bc orbits buys rooms in bulk so they are guaranteed to be there thats why payment goes to them. We complained to Marriott and have heard nothing they definitely have no concern for customers and we travel a lot....still no response from Marriott 10 mo later I never book through second hand sites anymore.
I am a travel agent and look for reasonable rates, good service, location of hotel, and options for food. This one hit all the good things I look for in a hotel. Would highly recommend to others. The hotel staff did not know I was a travel agent as I wanted to see how they would treat the guest that I sent to them. I would be pleased to send any client to this hotel. I know they would be treated great as well.
The Courtyard Marriott is a wonderful place to stay for a mini get away weekend. I was able to sleep in a super comfortable bed in a quiet part of the hotel. The king suite is just what I wanted. Its roomy and had a balcony with chairs and a table. Who thought Id have coffee outside in January!!! I always stay at this Courtyard when I visit the Cleveland area in the winter and early spring. Its near the Great Lakes Mall and not too far from Mentor Headlands State Park. If you stay, try Peties Restaurant in Willowick for a huge, delicious breakfast for a great price. Enjoy!!!
We always enjoy our stay at Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby. You can walk right next doorto the Applebees or drive a short distance to an excellent family run Italian restaurant. The breakfast at the hotel first floor cafe was excellent. The hotel is set back from the interstate. Our room was quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful.
The front desk personnel apparently merged my Rewards and credit card information with another guest who has my last name. The response from the front desk person provided no information, blamed reservations and did not follow through with her commitment to send me a corrected invoice. Three days after checking out, I still do not have a corrected invoice.
Refrigerator was unplugged. Plugged it in and whined badly. Unplugged it. Curtain had something splattered on it, we just didnt touch it. Otherwise everything was great. I have stayed in this room several times over the last few years. I think it is time for a spring cleaning.
The entire staff is warm and friendly, but Dee Ann always goes above and beyond! She remembers my name year after year. This hotel is always clean and well maintained and is always in top shape, and yet it has still been remodeled twice in the 10 years Ive been coming here! I have not encountered a more enjoyable place to stay in the entire Cleveland metropolitan area.
Real class act. Have alot of family in for the holidays so the kids...18 and over wanted to rent a room. And after Ubering up and and you turning them away denied them a place? I guarantee I will be putting this up on every travel site that is out there and will be posting this on all social media. I believe 18 is old enough to serve your country but not get a room?? Oh...i will be calling corporate.
Overall, if you are a family staying in a wedding block you may want to request relocation away from where others are placed. It seems that this hotel blocks all wedding parties together. We were awakened by yelling, slamming doors and loud hallway conversations at midnight and again at 2:30 (not members of our own wedding party). The next day we were given the impression that it was not unacceptable for wedding party blocks to experience this.We know these individuals entered the hotel yelling and carrying-on, so we feel it was a failure to allow them to continue up onto the floors where families and others were sleeping.
The hotel was nice looking and clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was disappointed that they did not have a free complimentary breakfast like most hotels. The free internet is quite slow as well, but I suppose it is free. Other than that, I wouldnt mind staying again.
We were silver elite guests, although I dont know what that means to the hotel as it wasnt mentioned pr acknowledged. In fact the only words I heard from our desk clerk were uh huh and room 109. The bed was terrible. Spring sounds and springs poking at us kept us up all night. The morning and the evening bistro staff were excellent.
Horrible customer service. Ive been waiting a month to get a refund and apparently they have no record of anything. Very unwilling to help a group of soldiers who were staying there for a week. We were WAY over charged. The GM (Josh Wilson) never returns calls along with his staff. They talked a good game and has me fooled that they were actually going to help me out but they didnt. Not even a little. Not even a single letter. I highly recommend that you find another hotel. Maybe the Motel 6 across the street. Id wouldve much rather sleep in front of the gas station or at the train station in downtown Cleveland. Plus the the stay there was way over priced.
Very disappointed with service. Whirlpool was cracked. Faucets leaked. Tiles on floor were cracked. Shower was so run down it was hard to tell if it was clean. I have stayed at other Marriott hotels and would have never expected to see them claim such a disappointment.
Willoughby Courtyard is well designed, clean and friendly place to stay if your trip takes you to the east suburbs of Cleveland. There are convenient restaurants within walking distance but the menu at the Courtyard cafe is healthy, offers good choices and they have a good selection of drinks to offer with the meal. The staff is professional but very friendly from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I like the work area in the room and in the lobby designed so that I can spread out my work, recharge electronics and stay on top of the work flow.
I stayed at the Courtyard for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was courteous and helpful and the room was meticulous and comfortable. It was great to have the bar/restaurant there and we were very happy with the overall experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
This Marriott Courtyard is located in an area of Lake County, Ohio that is close to everything you would need whether staying for business or pleasure. You can reach downtown Cleveland in about 15 minutes on the highway, the Great Lakes Mall is only 10 minutes to the east, and beautiful Lake Erie is just to the north. The hotel is nestled in a pretty neighborhood and near many restaurants, gas stations, and shops. I enjoy staying at this location because it is clean, safe, and most of the staff recognize me and have my room preference available. Also, I enjoy the indoor pool and use of the computers in the lobby. The backyard gazebo is a great place to visit with family and friends in the summer months!
I travel frequently for business near Willoughby and have am a regular patron of the Courtyard Willoughby. The accommodations are comfortable and inviting and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and friendly hotel experience.

2022-07-03Staff is just so friendly! I missed her name but the lovely woman working the front desk on 7/3 with short blonde hair is just fantastic and has been so hospitable. Also the young man with long brown hair has been so kind and helpful as well. Will stay here and again and recommend.

2022-02-28I did not stay but I canceled within the 24 hour grace period on the phone. Was told by the front desk receptionist when I called that I have officially canceled on 2/17. I am looking at my credit card statement on 2/28/22 and see that I still have a charge and no credit. I call the hotel and say why have I not got my money back. The receptionist makes it sound like its my fault and says I need a confirmation # and that they will cancel this one time as a favor to me. I tell her this was not told to me that I would need a confirmation #. She was very rude and said now you know. Glad I checked my statement or else I would of lost $230!! Lesson learned, never trust the front desk person when they say they are going to do something!!

2021-10-19I stayed at the Courtyard Cleveland Willoughby to receive medical treatment through the Cleveland Clinic. The rooms are outdated, supplies limited due to supply chain problems (not due to hotel) and although the bed/pillows were very comfortable, bed didn’t have a top sheet for mattress and room didn’t have a phone. Despite this, the staff is amazing, changed my room so I didn’t have to go through lobby or hallways/elevator to get to parking lot. I didn’t call down to front desk due to reactions to the medical treatment I was receiving, but I’m sure they would’ve taken care of the sheet/phone missing, if I had. Terry was incredible and once I explained my situation about being vaccinated but fearing becoming infected with covid, went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and didn’t encounter any guests during my stay. I will return to this hotel when I require additional medical treatments only because the staff is truly the best I’ve ever dealt with at a hotel. All were amazing, incredibly nice, thoughtful and truly went above and beyond to ensure I was as safe as possible from catching covid. The first room I was given required me to use the elevator (I am unable to walk without crutches) and was moved to a ground floor room with a courtyard/patio that gave me access to the parking lot without having to go through inside of hotel, and didn’t have to worry if there was a fire due to me not being able to use the stairs. Staff definitely took my medical needs seriously and I can’t thank them enough. I can only remember Terry’s name, but every single staff I dealt with impressed me, immensely, so much that it was very easy to overlook some of the hiccups and that the facility could use a much needed upgrade. Despite this, I was comfortable and well taken care of. Will recommend and will absolutely stay again, because of the best staff I’ve ever dealt with at a hotel. Cannot say enough wonderful things about how wonderful they all were.

2021-09-16We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days. Loved that the pool was open for the kids. Room was clean and nice. Would have been nice if there was continental breakfast for the price paid. Wi-fi was horribly limited. If you wanted better wi-fi, there was an option to pay per day. No thanks. no daily housekeeping available. Ok. I will say Hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and understanding. Went to get fresh linens after child food spill accident in bed. Received most replacement linens immediately. Waited for the rest to be washed. Went to get the rest (pillowcases) around 8 pm after dinner and there were none available!?! Not happy!

2021-06-30The room was well designed and furnished. Enjoyed sitting on the curvy loveseat to watch TV. The shower drain is a strange design that drains very slowly, so youre standing in water. The bed was great. The only negative was that breakfast was very limited and each item has ala carte prices. Most hotels where we stay offer free hot breakfast with lots of choices, but there was nothing we felt was healthy enough to eat. So we picked up some fruit, yogurt and granola at the grocery store.

2021-09-13The location was perfect for our needs, near Historic Kirtland and Mentor. There were a lot of food options near buy and the hotel was easily accessible by major roads and highways. However, the facilities were a little lacking and clearly have not been updated for some time. I was disappointed that mobile check-in and in-app services were not available. Would likely stay here again because of the convenient location.

2021-08-06We used the hotel for our wedding room block! The hotel was great and very clean! We reserved the king suite for two nights and it was so spacious and nice! Trisha set up our room block and coordinated everything. She was very professional and organized! We met our number of rooms so we received our night in the suite complimentary! For the price, you can’t beat this hotel!

2021-08-31Overall, everything was great. The front desk staff were accommodating, nice and professional. My room was at the end of the hallway, near where smokers congregated and left the door open. This caused my room to smell like cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room. This triggered my allergies and sinuses.
