Great location close to many chain stores and cool landmarks at metro parks. Cuyahoga Falls has lots of trendy shops and is great to walk around. The water in the pool at the hotel was cold and it was snowing outside, was advertised as heated with a sauna. Had to request room service and we stayed four nights. Staff was otherwise attentive and responded quickly to help fix inoperable TV remote.
The pillows were thin, my head went straight to the mattress through them, and they were made of feathers (Im allergic). The cover was thin as a piece of paper. The thermostat didnt work properly so I was either freezing or sweating the whole night. The mirror on the bathroom door reflects light from the living area straight into the bed area, plus if the door is open anyone in the living area can see into the bed area because of the mirror on the bathroom door. Horrible placement for a giant mirror. The suite wrap around the back of the elevator shaft, so I could hear the elevator mechanism working all night, hear the doors dinging, and hear people coming and going and doors opening and closing all night long. It was overall the worst Ive ever slept in any hotel.
They charged us $250 for damages we didn’t make. I sent photo evidence proving we had not made them, and they haven’t contacted us in 2 weeks as of now with any information. I have called the front desk several times, and even the general manager. He put me on hold for over 15 minutes and never contacted me back or even responded to the email I sent. I would not recommend staying here. They scammed us out of money
I have a lot of words, but none of them are suitable to describe how wonderful the staff of this hotel is. They are all kind, warmhearted individuals who are extremely decicated to the comfort of their guests on every level of the experience. I know this may sound like its a practiced, artificial response but it comes 100% straight from the heart. The staff of this location is wonderful and Im so happy with the service and kindness they showed.
The staff seemed nice, but this is the most uncomfortable place Ive ever stayed in. Outdated? Yes. Holes in the carpet? Yes, two. Super uncomfortable mattresses? Yes. (Buy a mattress topper or bring some Tylenol).Gold Status Benefits? No. Complimentary water? No. In-room welcome gift? No. Complimentary room upgrade? No. In fact, when you ask for status eligible upgrade in the almost vacant building at check in, you get room 101... Two holes in the carpet, aged uncomfortable mattresses, but at least the water pressure is good ( thanks municipal water company!). Spend less. Stay somewhere better.
I tried to really like this place. I did, but it was just an unlucky experience. After the 1st night we found a big bedbug in our bed just crawling about. We told front desk immediately, and they changed our rooms to something a few doors down. I appreciated that and they also offered to heat treat our clothes that may have been exposed to bed bugs. That was very sweet but it still shouldnt of happened.Secondly, we chose this location for their pool being opened and their hot tub... well theres no hot tub as the pictures like you to believe. They said they made the pool bigger and heated instead of keeping the hot tub (picture of where the hot tub was). Would of been nice to know when we called is all.The Cherry on top is that the elevator broke down Again (in the other reviews it seems its happened often) so we will have to carry our things from the 3rd floor down the stairs this morning.Other than that, its been OK the room we are in now is cleaner and doesnt have a broken chair or broken rug, so thats nice.
The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, however, issues beyond their control force a lower rating. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and Im not a smoker so quite unpleasant. There were also women walking up and down the hallway, drinks in hand, quite loud, talking and laughing. The next morning the elevator was out of order, which I know can happen. But after poor night sleep I was just disappointed.
Positive: We liked that the water was hot and that it had a separate bedroom. Negative: The room smelled of stale smoke, the Direct TV guide was useless. I found it unusual that the hotel doors are locked at 9:00 PM nightly. I stayed for 2 weeks in Fairlawn, and 5 weeks in Stow - this was the worst.
Positive: Location was convenient, bed was good and it appeared to be clean. The room was quiet. Negative: The room (408) had a musty smell, carpet was stained and had large holes in it under the desk. Furniture covering was stained and the arms of the desk chair were worn through. Not exactly the ambiance we were hoping for at a couple hundred bucks a night.
Had asked for a handicap room and they were not available so I asked for one near the elevator which I got on the 4th floor. The room was ok with two dark soil spots on the rug. When we were about to leave the elevator was out of order. I know that was not their fault, however, me and my sister are 81+and to take our luggage down 4 flights of stairs was impossible. We had to call twice to have someone get our luggage. After 15 to 20 minutes, I looked out the door and a cleaning man was there and I told him the problem. He was very nice and carried three of our bags down and wont take a tip. When I asked for a discount the manager said he couldnt do that for one person or he would have to do it for all. We paid $588.+ for two nights which I thought was exorbitant. I was not offered a senior discount or any other. As for me I will not stay in one of your hotels again.
Ive been waiting for a call from the general manager as I was told I would be receiving a call after my stay. But its been over 2 weeks now and I think thats unacceptable for what happened during my trip. I was provided a room with 2 queen beds. My daughter fell asleep on one and I waited an hour before I was ready to go to bed. Unfortunately, as soon as I hit the bed and turned the lights off, I felt itchiness and thought maybe I had an allergic reaction from dinner. But as I laid there for a few more minutes, I did not feel right. When I got up and turned the lights on and flipped the covers, I saw 3 bed bugs. I killed 2 and brought one down to the front desk, mind you this is 12 AM. The staff was very helpful and provided me a room change to a room down the hall. Although she did try to tell me it looked like a fruit fly--I know what a fruit fly looks like nor do those typically bite. Unfortunately, I had to wake my daughter up and move her. In the new room was a king bed and once we were situated, I laid down but still had this bad feeling. I got up and went to the bathroom, stripped and found 1 bed bug on my hand. Mind you, by now Im going crazy but I also considered maybe this was one that was from the other room. Overall, I had at least 5 bites on my body. Regardless, I kept the last one in a cup and sealed it up in a bag to give to the front desk the next day. When I went to turn in my key cards, I was asked to confirm my phone number for the GM to call me. NO call yet. I wont be returning and I think that this hotel needs to work on some good cleaning. I would never have stayed here had my daughter not had a competition in the local area. But I wont be returning for sure. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was fine. Just the cleanliness of the hotel is unacceptable.
Positive: How the room was set up was very nice with the separate area to work and watch TV away from the bedroom. The location in relation to the office I was working at. Negative: Upon check-in I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned and had to go back down for a new room. Also, The buffet breakfast was not really available. Food was not good. Was not able to select my own food as it could only be gotten by a staff.
Nice place to stay. The rooms were well cleaned and nicely updated. Bed in my room was so comfortable i didnt want to get up. Had a livingroom area with pullout and tv and bedroom was separate and tv in the room as well. Had small fridge microwave coffee pot. Coffee they offered for breakfast in lobby was ok. Has gym and inside swimming pool. Place to sit and smoke if ur a smoker. Would definietly stay there again.
The rooms are dated, there is no lying about that fact but staff is incredible and will go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is also generally pretty good. Pool is still closed as is any common areas of the hotel. We try to stay here when in town bc it is the closest hotel to my familys house.
I have to give this hotel 5 stars. We had such a pleasant time during our stay at this hotel. The customer service was so amazing, the cleanliness of the hotel was much appreciated, the breakfast options were great and just our overall stay was awesome! We’ll definitely be back!
Condition of the room was very poor. Checked out and did not stay at this property. Front desk clerk was not friendly at all. However I did talk to a desk clerk over the phone before our vacation named Dallas. She was delightful and very helpful. She should apply for a job at the Sheraton Suites (1989 Front Street). It was much nicer and with friendly staff.
Overall great place to stay for the price. Staff is incredible here. Did my clothes and went to do errands no one messed with a thing. Great area filled with places to eat and drink. Only issue for me is the internet is slower than dial up. 5/5 would stay again. Also all the rooms have a microwave and fridge which is a huge help on long stays.
It was more like staying in a cheap motel. The pool was not open. If it were to be closed it should have been noted on web. The holiday Incs was open down the road. The only reason we didnt leave was because you do have a wonderful staff. Make sure you appreciate your staff because they are what kept us there. I not sure how many rooms we had but we took the whole 2nd floor and some on first and 4th floors. Like I said had it not been for your staff you would of lost a lot of money.
The Country Inn & Suites was a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and outfitted nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The overall feel of the hotel was a bit dated. The main lobby looked straight out of the 90s and was a bit strange to see since most hotels Ive stayed at have renovated to a more modern design. This dated look was not a big deal to me or anyone else I stayed with. The front desk staff was amazing. They were very nice and informative and helped me with anything I needed. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel based off the great staff alone. Parking was also adequate and plentiful.
My stay here was booked from Sunday through Wednesday. I had some time to interact with the staff and feel for how the hotel was. The staff was good, very eager to help oh, and very down-to-earth. The woman who was standing inside the breakfast area keeping up on stocking food made great conversation and was very kind. The gentleman who was helping me check out was very quick and efficient. The hotel was comfortable, and my room was just fine. My room is clean and fresh. The decor inside my hotel room and throughout the hotel was very outdated. This hotel really needs a renovation. If it werent for the decor, I would provide a 5-star rating. The hotel is located in an area with lots of restaurants and shopping, but not out on the main drag. I would only recommend this location if you were looking for an economical hotel stay in the area.
As previous guests mentioned, WiFi is terrible at best. Vending machines do no work. Television didn’t work. Furniture very dated. Bed uncomfortable. Complimentary breakfast a joke. Coffee was comparable to dollar store coffee. Cell signal shotty. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the young man at front desk did his best to help considering I paid almost $300 for this disintegrating hotel.
Had a slight issue with a pool/hot tub renovation and the 3rd party booking website did not clarify this. The front desk attendant was very helpful and had the GM get in touch with us in our room. He offered us a very generous deal and we are extremely happy customers. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at either place; their GM runs a great business, along with choosing great staff members. Thank you again!
The trash can in front of the hotel was overflowing onto the ground upon arriving at the hotel, and continued to get worse the 3 days I was at the hotel.Upon check, I had to sign a rules page, which several rooms on my floor did not abide to during the night...occupancy of room, quiet hour, etc.The breakfast attendant listed items that were available due to covid, I mentioned to her that I was not able to eat any of it due to special dietary needs. She didnt offfer any suggestions, alternatives, or other restaurants in the area that might accommodate my food needs.Pool and fitness center were closed due to covid.
The front desk receptionist that worked tonight March 24th, 2021 715pm I called into reserve a jacuzzi room. And I asked what their procedure was for cleaning the Jacuzzis. She said she had no idea and that when the person comes to clean the room, they clean the jacuzzi because its obviously in the room a d I asked if the jets were taken out and cleaned and she said she didnt know. She was very rude and sarcastic when answering my question. Like I wouldnt want to just jump in a jacuzzi if they dont take the proper cleaning procedures for them properly. Not going to book a room here thats for sure.
The hotel was nice. Clean and comfortable. We came here for our fathers funeral. We received our bill to find the rate changed nightly? Saturday 127.80 Sunday 107.10 Monday 120.60 before all applicable taxes. I called the desk and she was very nice. Explained to us you charge based on occupancy?? How does someone book a room for three day and be charged according to occupancy. I am very disappointed to say the least. This will be the last time I ever stay here. I am 61 and until three years ago traveled extensively. I was billed the same price per night per my reservation. Taken advantage of ...
Its not the Four Seasons but it was not bad. Bed was very comfortable although the pillows were on the small side and the lot wasnt well maintained with the snow. The girls who work at the front desk are awesome. They really make the difference. Very helpful, accommodating, and fun to chat with. I would stay here again.
Booked the Jacuzzi Suite for my husband and Is birthday. What a disappointment. I left at 10 pm. First off Black mold, then there was trash on the floor, receipts with someone name and info on them, then at 9 pm our room started to smell like marijuana really bad. I called the front desk the girl asked me if I was smoking. Really. I told them I wanted my money back thats almost 400.00 that is wasted. I am still waiting on a call from a district manager.
My son stayed Oct 14th and woke up with multiple bite marks all over him. It is obvious the room he stayed in had bedbugs. When asked to have his money refunded for his stay that night the manager refused. Said due to policies they had and the time of day they could not refund his money and made no attempt to make this situation right!! Extremely poor customer service and we will never stay at this hotel or hotel chain again!! Absolutely absurd!! I would give zero stars if I could
We always stay at Country Inn & Suites. This one was exactly what were are accustomed to, service by all the staff was exceptional, everyone is friendly and accommodating. Our room was always clean and in order. The breakfast offered has a wonderful variety. We always feel we are very special guests during our stay, great value for the money.
This was a very nice hotel. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in hotel-wise. Staff was friendly. Apples, bananas, cookie and lemonade in the lobby along with a nice library and USA Today. My only complaint was no bacon on the breakfast bar. Nice selection of food, waffles were amazing, but sorry its not breakfast without bacon.
Our first two rooms smelled like smoke, the third smelled a little funny, but we just stuck with it because we were tired of trying new rooms. Not very well maintained; lots of little things need fixing: toilet seat lid cracked, light switch plate cracked, room number plates missing chunks, caulk around tub needed replacing, one of the ice machines was out of order, cable box was unplugged. I would typically overlook a couple of these issues, but there are a lot. Basic stuff that an attentive staff should notice and have fixed. Ive stayed in much nicer hotels for the same cost as this one.
The Hotel was really nice and very clean but the staff is where this hotel shines. I think someone took my brand new phone when I was at a gas station earlier that day and joanna, not even asking any questions helped me locate it and then track it down. After we found my phone laying on the on ramp to rt 8 North lol,... I realized she was helping me on her own time after her shift was over. I was amazed that she would do that. When I asked her why (because trust me it wasnt fun!) She said that Sometimes... some people could really use a break and that Helping those people comes back full circle so the more you help the more you get helped in return later on and it might just be when you could really use a break. Thats pretty awsome, You guys really are the best!! Ill see you again because theres no need for me to go anywhere else. Thanks Again
The rooms are extremely pricey for a lot of noise, rude staff, nosey cleaning staff and poorly patched up out of date furniture. There is a musky smoke smell that lingers the rooms as well. It bothered my asthma and affected my breathing overall. It looks very nice from the outside but i advise that you ask to see one of the rooms prior to paying the $97.97 a night bill. Even if you immediately choose not to stay i guaranteed you will be waiting for over a week for your refund as Im still waiting for mine from last Thursday. When i was told by the manager that i would have it immediately after he released it. My bank account is still without a refund, only a charge for $97.97 show. Ive called the front desk, sent 2 different emails to separate destinations and have gotten no response from either of them. My bank is asking me for a receipt of the refunded transaction and I cant get ahold of anyone who is willing to assist me. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere to a hotel thst prides itself in customer service if you want to get the best experience and satisfaction with the best quality of servicein your stay .do not expect it here.
We have stayed there for over a week. To say that we have enjoyed our stay is an understatement. The staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate us. They are friendly and hospitable. The breakfast every morning is GREAT! Even if you wake up a little late, they still will make sure you get your fill. Two thumbs up to this gem. You would really be missing out if you pass up this 4 star hotel at affordable rates. Kudos to you Country Inn @ Cuyahoga Falls!!
My wife and I stayed here while visiting Blossom Music Center. We had a king suite that we found clean, spacious and it had all the amenities you want in a suite. What made this hotel stand out from the rest that we have visited was Dion at the front desk. He was helpful, knowledgeable about the area and extremely friendly. The hotel was sold out that night and still very quiet, I also overheard Dion trying to help a weary traveler find a place to stay since there was no room. This kind of service is what makes a good hotel a great hotel! Thank you Country Inn + Dion for a wonderful stay, hope to see you next time!
This place has one of the best jetted tubs! Perfect after a long day of snowboarding or just to relax. The staff was very nice and the room is cozy with a decent bed. Have stayed multiple times now because it never fails to please. Note: Weve only checked in late at night due to snowboarding so the staff at night at least is friendly, especially the desk clerk!
Big room, but could use a renovation. Flooring uneven, and very dated rooms. Cardboard taped over a vent, but not really sure why. The in room heating/cooling was pretty loud, located in the bedroom portion, and kicked on frequently. Staff was friendly, and we slept fine. Free continental breakfast and cookies in the lounge. Super small gym, but there was a gym
They were very nice and accommodating at the front desk. I wrote on the reservation that we have a child with asthma and the hotel is already non smoking but they also took additional precautions when cleaning. The pool was nice 3-5 feet deep with a nice hot tub and the rooms were great.
I dont usually write reviews for things because it usually just goes totally over my head and I forget to, but I had to write a review about my stay here. Everything was fantastic, the room was spotless, comfortable and very nice. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful and when my flight was delayed, the front desk and staff checked up on me to make sure all was going well. The atmosphere was so inviting and friendly and I could not have had a better stay here.
The whole reason we booked the hotel was for the indoor pool. And of course it was closed all day, night, and morning. And did they offer any compensation? Not a bit. 100 dollars for one night and not a care in the world that the hotels main amenity was closed. Definitely wont recommend or be back.
Staff was polite, every morning there was a warm breakfast and a kind staff member serving waffles. My only issue was the biscuits were a bit hard, but that couldve been due to the fact we came a couple hours after it started. There were also free cookies and kiwi water served in the lobby.
One of the nicest places Ive ever stayed! Extremely clean, staff was beyond helpful and nice, and the room was like home away from home. I was here on a business trip for a week and loved my stay. If Im ever back in that area again, they definitely have my business again!
Overall, the Country Inn & Suites was a nice place. The room was clean and comfortable. There was some noise coming from the vents that was a little annoying, but not a big deal. They have a hot breakfast which was comparable to other hotel chains. Omelets, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, danishes, yogurt, etc... Everything tasted fine. The staff is very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
Our stay at the Cuyahoga Falls Country Inn & Suites was great. The location was easy to find and about 15 minutes from the Blossom Music Center, the reason we were in Cuyahoga Falls. The front desk was very nice, checking in was very quick and simple. The room we stayed in was a King room on the second floor. The room was very clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was simple but filling and the breakfast staff was very nice. Check out was quick and simple. We would definitely stay again if we are travelling in the area.
I have stayed at Country Inn & Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio several times. Each time that I have stayed there the staff has been very friendly. It must be a really good place to work to have all the employees be pleasant and friendly all the time. Good employers make for happy employees. The breakfast has also been very good. It is an older hotel but it is very clean. I will be visiting again soon. Thanks for making my stay a pleasant one.
Very nice hotel you can see off the highway. The staff was very nice and polite. There was little confusion with my room but it got worked out and got a upgrade to a nicer room. Was really pleased by that. I would recommend this hotel to people that need a place to stay. I will be coming back again as soon as I can. Very recommended.
The room was nice. The furniture wasnt the most comfortable but the bed was great. Everything else was exactly how it youd expect it to be. Staff was friendly. Good location for plenty of great activities in Cuyahoga Falls. Ice skating, funny stop comedy club, great dining in the area. The Blue Door Cafe for breakfast and the Chowder House (cash only) for dinner. Make reservations for the latter as well as for the comedy club.
Snezana at the front desk only worked weekends, but really set the bar for what customer service with a good attitude and positivity are supposed to look like. The morning breakfast staff person was always bustling and attending to things as well. Many thanks! The hot tub, pool, and fitness area were just enough to keep me feeling good during an exhausting week. Hotel was close enough to lots of good restaurants and Groupon deals. Breakfast at this hotel was better than what we had at Cedar Point, and they mix it up with different stuff and randomly put out great cookies as well. We had a sometimes-crying baby, and there were other loud guests, but the rooms were relatively soundproof and most were quiet about 10pm. Thankfully, this place had a no pet policy!
This hotel is great. Its affordable, clean and comfortable. We used it for a 1 night stay to go to an event at the Civic Theater and it served its purpose well! The complimentary breakfast was also very good and very well stocked! We will probably use this hotel next year for the same purpose.
The staff is very friendly and helped my OCD relative with every single detail with which they were concerned. Their patience was definitely tested and they passed with flying colors. The rooms had sinks, mini-fridges, HBO, separate living room and bedroom. There is a pool and hot tub. Priced right and fairly decent location.
I would give this place a better rating if they did not serve breakfast. The eggs were like eating a yellow sponge cut up into little prices. The Potatoes were like eating a brown sponge cut into little pieces. The fruit was like eating frozen multi colored sponges.. The food was horrible. Coffee was horrible. Its obvious the whole meal was made in a microwave oven. The pool was not in service while we were there we were informed at check in. The staff were very nice. The room was top notch. And again my rating would be 4 or 5 stars, if they did not serve breakfast. It was the single reason we chose this hotel. Do not stay for the food its just not even close to good. But stay and enjoy the room. Eat away from facility.
CLEAN! and Amazing staff! You must say hi to Nancy, the beautiful lady in the Breakfast Buffet. We were able to get into a very nice and very clean room! The pool was a small (but very nice) pool. The place appeared well maintained. The parking lot was clean, well lit and secure. I have to mention Nancy... Nancy works in the breakfast buffet (which was great). My 3 year old and her hit it off. She took my son by his hand and led him to the lobby to get a cookie (w/my wifes permission)... He just loved her. This place IS what hospitality is about! Thank you! --- PS: They have Directv -- was nice to have a DVR to record program so we could watch it later.. Very nice place.Stayed February 2016
We stayed her for October fest. It was great really friendly people. Our king suite was perfect for having children. The hotel room was clean the pool and hot tub were big enough. Hot tub surface kinda rough dont wear your fav baithsuit. Breakfast was a good selection and they always had fruit infused water and cookies for guest. Bed could have been softer but other that was definitely worth the money and I would go back. Cant remember everyones name but the girl who helped me book it and checked us in was amanda she was very helpful and you could tell she cared if we had a nice stay.
Hotel is old and tired. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The couch and chair in the livingroom were so broken down that you sank halfway to the floor when you sat on them. They were very uncomfortable. The bed was old as well and it had no support at all. I have a bad back and the furniture and bed were very bad for me. Even my husband complained about the furniture and bef and he doesnt complain about much. We will not stay here again.
I would give no stars if I could. My boyfriend and I booked the hotel online because we were driving to our college and it was late and we were getting tired. We’ve stayed at other Country Inns before, however after we booked it and already payed for it we arrived and were told we weren’t allowed to stay because neither of us are 21. Not to mention, we weren’t allowed a refund. 6 hours from home, and 3 hours from our college we were forced to continue driving at 11 at night. Idon’t recommend staying here.
The staff was friendly but a big mistake was made the second shift gave my room key to someone when asked not to early that day,she stole my laptop and jbl speakers and there is nothing but a report so now Im out over 1000 dollars thinking really about suing, gonna try and contact corporate see what we could. WHY WOULD THEY CHECK HER BAG😤😤😤😤😤Disappointing
I had high hopes for a wonderful stay here. My device could not kept a connection to their weak signal wifi during my whole 6 day stay and I wound up going to the library to use the computer. Do not book room 213. It is right above the lobby. It was so loud day and night. I barely slept some nights.
Very reasonably priced. Very nice staff and room was great! My best friend and I stayed at Country Inn & Suites for the Jimmy Buffett concert so we we didnt get to use any of the amenities because we were out but we loved the hotel it was very comfortable and we would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!
AWFUL experience. Reserved a room well in advance. At the time of check in I was told the hotel was overbooked and they gave my room away. After assuring me that my card would not be charged I was charged for the full cost of the room after never staying there. Note... I would give this hotel ZERO stars if I was able to do so!!
My husband and I had 1 issues which I would give a 3 star. But I must say , when we went to the front desk , the staff went above and beyond duty to resolve the issue . I also want to say thank you to the general manager Deon Watkins for helping resolve the issue. For that I give the staff 5 stars
I typically do not like to go to hotels, however when I do I normally enjoy my stay. Not so much with this particular facility. I was not the one who reserved the room, however as a guest I was completely disappointed. As everyone knows, no hotel usually allows a party of any kind. Due to a few family members in town visiting they wanted to say goodbye to my nephew who was at this particular hotel while my sister wanted to relax for the weekend. That being said, My daughter, husband and I arrived to wish my nephew a happy birthday since I was unable to do so the week prior and I wanted to say my goodbyes to few relatives stopping by before they left town. On my way to the pool which my sister said my nephews and friends would be, I had a women run after me saying you cannot swim in the pool. I said excuse me? She said, the pool is reserved for those that are staying in the hotel. First, I wasnt even greeted with a hello. She automatically went to demanding what was not allowed. Second, she didnt know if we were going to swim or not. Third, nothing that Im aware of at any hotel (especially at each hotel that Ive ever been to) states that your guest cannot swim in the pool. Eventually my sister lets me into the pool room. I didnt get into the pool but my daughter did join with my nephews(2) and his other 2 guest. The manager pulls my sister to the side and demanded that she fix the situation as she can not have multiple ppl in the pool. I decided that it would be best if me and my daughter left and my sister decided that it would be best if we sent my nephews friends home as well. As we were upstairs changing clothes, my sister got a phone call to her room saying that we all had 15 minutes to leave...no refund. We decided to do what was suggested as I was getting ready to leave either way but we did want to talk to the manager. I politely asked why we were being kicked out on our way out. The manager said that he was told that we had multiple guest coming out of the rooms and into the pool and thats considered a party. We only had one room and from my understanding, after my sister got the 4 kids changed for the pool upon arrival, they were in the pool at least until we got there. That being says, there was another black family/group there that the staffs mustve assumed belonged with us. I was so disgusted/disturbed with how everything went today. My family members from out of town never did get to see my nephew and we werent there for even 2 hours before being forced to leave. However, the manager did keep saying we were leaving voluntarily even though we were told we had 15 minutes to vacate. I WILL never do business here and normally I do not like to pull the race card but to automatically assume that another black group of ppl plus her group of ppl was all together is INSANE. It wasnt my money spent here, but it was my time wasted. Be careful for those with skin of color. We all will be considered as coming in together to this hotel and have parties apparently. Keep your money and go somewhere where youll feel appreciated and comfortable.
The stay was OK. We booked the whirlpool suite, which was beautiful. Although, the customer service was lacking. We booked the room a week and a half in advance, and even double checked to make sure that under 21 guests were allowed to check in. When getting there, we were told that we couldnt check ourselves in! (BY THE SAME MAN THAT MADE OUR RESERVATIONS) Its a good thing it was only a weekend getaway an hour away! We wouldve been very mad if we wouldve drove 2+ hours just to be told we werent of age to check in.After finally getting someone of age to check us in, I reviewed my bank statement to see that I was charged an extra 50 dollars than what was discussed. Thinking that it was a mistake, we asked the gentleman at the counter what the charge was for (AGAIN THE SAME MAN), and he said it was for potential damage. That was never discussed!!!!!Very disappointed in the hotel service!!!
I reserved a room here, based on previous Google reviewers recommendations. Great place to stay. Clean room, wonderful service. The front office called my room, shortly after arriving to make sure everything was to my liking. Great option to stay a night in the Akron area.
I am giving two stars because the woman who initially helped was absolutely wonderful and the place was generally sanitary and beautiful.HOWEVER... my issues was not dealt with as promised and I am highly disappointed. On March 23rd, I stayed at this hotel because I was presenting at a conference early the next day. I woke up at 4:00AM because I felt something on my neck. I started to drift back off into sleep until I realized I was in a hotel. I jumped up and turned on the light. Yes, it was a GIGANTIC BED BUG. I immediately dialed 0 and a very kind woman came to help. She put the BED BUG in a napkin to show the manager. I was moved to a different room. I did not sleep, obviously paranoid about more critters crawling on me. I am a chronic ear plug wearer and of course this happens the night I did not have ear plugs in and that bug was very close to my ear. The woman who helped me saw the terror on my face and looked equally terrified.I went to the conference and received a phone call around 12:00PM on March 24th from the manager, Dion (SP?), who was initially accommodating. He apologized to me and reported that an investigation would ensue and that I would receive a full refund. When we got off the phone, I noticed that my card was actually charged TWICE in addition to the $50.00 overnight fee. So, thats 110.99 x 2 + 50...that might not seem like a lot to you, but I am in no financial position to be throwing around an additional $110.99.I immediately called to let the hotel know that my card was charged twice. The woman on the phone was nice and told me to call back if the charges were there in five business days. Five business days pass and one of the $110.99 charges and the $50 were taken off of my account. One $110.99 charge remains. Therefore, I did NOT get a full refund for my stay that was ruined by a BED BUG. I recognize that sometimes bugs are carried into hotels and that the infestation does not start there. I am not saying this place is infested. It was really a beautiful hotel with free cookies in the lobby. Everything looked clean and great which is why I was so surprised that I was haunted by a bed bug.Since that stay, I have called THREE times about the charge. I have yet to receive a call back about the promised full refund. I am disappointed and have grown dissatisfied with how this problem is being handled. On each of the THREE calls, the person on the other end takes down my name and number... then I never get a call back. This is highly unprofessional. I am still waiting for my refund. I will keep calling until this hotel fulfills their end of the deal... which was to provide a full refund following a night interrupted by a bed bug.
Threadbare. T.V never worked properly. Even after Deon helped. ( Very nice man) give him a raise. The water didnt drain in the shower properly. Windows were discolored..I am a frequent traveler. I stay at Country Inn and Suites often. This was my least favorite stay.
I had to book rooms at a few different hotel chains for a family funeral. I am a Gold Member with this chain and yet myself and my guests were treated with contempt and suspicion by the front desk staff. They do not follow Raddisson procedures of offering upgrades and gift bags when you arrive. The Raddisson in Fairlawn seems a little nicer. Bathrooms small. Suites good size. Breakfast staff is great. Front desk staff, hit or miss. Xavier was the most helpful. Deons behavior was deplorable. Hilton, Choice, Marriott are much more reliable chains. This is the 3rd or 4th time staying at the location, 2 great, 1 okay, and this last 1 disgusting. Stay at a hotel where compassion, understanding, and simple human kindness are customary.
I had a contract for our family reunion for us to have the hospitality room for free, general manager(deon) said no before even looking at the contract bout time he did most of my family left to go out other family went to their room, we really did not have a place for our food nor to gather as a family like we planned, it was disappointing, my brother even offered to pay for the hospitality room, he paid than was told that we still could not get it because by this time it is after 9:00, they took his money told him he could not get it back for 2 days, on top of that country inn does not have anyone over the general manager to make an official complaint to, yes they did comp 1 guest room for 1 night and gave 1 guest the family reunion rate, their customer service people was smart talking and rude, I go to hotels often and this service was the worst if I could give 0 stars I would. WE WILL NEVER GET BACK WHAT WE LOST AS A FAMILY, MY FAMILY HAVE SAID FOR ME TO NEVER BOOK THAT HOTEL OR A RADISSON HOTEL AGAIN FOR OUR FAMILY REUNION
The pool here was murky and made my brother really ill. the rooms were nice but i would not recommend letting your children swim in the pool. he showered after he swam and was still sick. it was so gross you couldnt even see the bottom with an abundance of cholorine. he broke out with a rash and a bunch of other symptoms. be careful
This was a terrible experience. The stay started off good and the amenities are fine. But...My personal tablet was stolen out of my room. After working all day i came back to my room and found it missing from the desk where it was resting comfortably charging. After searching the entirety of the room, I went down to report it missing. The young lady was very apologetic and offered to come and look in the room, i accepted. She came up a few minutes later glanced in a couple of drawers and then said yeah Ill contact the manager. The manager Dion is a twit to say the least. First he never came to the room to talk to me. He called me amd said he was gonna check the cameras. Then at 1130 he called again to tell me the cameras were not working right amd he was quitting for the night.I told him i was checking out and leaving at 830 tomorrow and i would like some sort of resolution by then. The next morning at 730 i was at the desk and the lady called the manager. This is when Dion became an a@# hat. He tells me that he didnt see anything on the tape, so the hotel wasnt responsible. I argued that just because theu didnt see it doesnt mean that it didnt happen.I then ask for the owners to which i was told he would be contacting the coo, and i said great give me her number and then he blatantly lied too me and said he didnt have it. When pressed he said i told you i would contact ger with ways that we have to communicate. The coo did call me back in about 10 minutes. Basically she said that they didnt have any proof that i did have a tablet, and so they couldnt be responsible. Since i didnt inventory it when i came in it was my responsibility. I countered with why arent there safes in my room. Again not there responsibility. Which ps became her answer for everything. So if you have valuables please inventory them when you come in. It probably wont matter.. but.. thats the policy. This COO and her lying manager Dion ruined my experience with this hotel. Ps tablet 600.00, case 25.00 and the 1 year warranty 79.99.Room cost 120.00 per night I stayed for 4 nights. Just saying they could have offered me something.
Horrible! I booked a jacuzzi suite online. We got to the hotel and the lady at the front desk said it was no longer available. I booked this room over a month ago! No courtesy call to let me know.. no email.. nothing. We drove over an hour away to find out that they gave our room to someone else.
I felt that they were to strict. On the rules. Get the no smoking but it the other guest are bothered by anyone at any time of night you have to pay for their room. Well I have an autistic child. So mean to tell me if my son has a meltdown at any point I have to pay for some one elses room?
Because 0 stars is not an option. As stated by previous comments, the maintenance could have been kept up better. Although i checked into a room with a cracked interior door molding and 2 bent towel racks in the bathroom, i was charged 4 times at $250 each. This occurred over 40 hours after i checked out and drove 1100 miles away. The manager, monica claimed it was for the hole in the door but would not clarify why 4 charges were needed.Aside from that ongoing legal ordeal, they also improperly charged my account by over $40 on my second night stay. After bringing it to their attention, they were able to reimburse the overcharge difference.I believe the problem started when they gave an unauthorized individual (my wife) the key to another room without consent. Although, it was a family member, they should not have violated privacy without contacting the room occupant first and they know they made a mistake. After a huge uproar, i understand that the stay for a week was waived by the hotel manager, monica. It only makes sense that she would be the one to charge my room $250 4 times and then claim it was damaged because of an argument. An argument that started because they gave a room key to an unauthorized individual. Either way, we didnt break or damage anything at that hotel but were charged a grand nevertheless. I Will never deal with this company again. The single worst experience Ive had out of hundreds of hotel stays. Will update when/if my money is returned. Has not happened yet.-chris
In pretty good erea with many restaurants and shopping choices, BUT thats where the positives end. This hotel is very outdated. The sleeper sofa is EXTRA TERRIBLE! Do not expect a good night sleep on it. Id equate it to like laying on a sheet on the floor trying to sleep. Every sprang felt from head to toe (this was noticed in two different rooms on two different occasions). Pillows are small with no support. I am a very deep sleeper and was still awakened by the noise of a tv early on in the night and later in the mid morning hours music (like b/t 11p-5a). The walls are horribly thin. Breakfast is like food served at a public elementary school. #yuck. My family and I thought we just had higher than normal expectations so when offered to give them another chance at no cost we thought why not? Wed be visiting in the vicinity soon. Unfortunately, same if not worse results. We will not be back. Not even at a different location Country Inn ever again.
Terrible experience for my family and friends during a funeral of all things. Mr. D. Watkins was stoic and void of compassion as he repeated his script, I need a credit card, Mr. Russo! I need a credit card Mr. Russo! Beware of the Neo Hotel Group. They do not honor Radisson member policies. This place was so much better a year ago.
Hotel is clean and staff courteous and friendly. The check in process was very slow due to number of quest checking in without credit cards and proper I.D. Although handled wrll by staff, 45 minute wait time to check in with 3 people.i fro t of me was quite excessive.
Sitting outside, I found customer print outs of complete personal data including ID photocopies and full credit card numbers, expiration dates and security codes. The fact that the company policy is collect, store and print this information is irresponsible at the highest levels.
Dear Country Inn & Suites Cuyahoga Falls,I do not often write to hotels, however, I wanted to tell you we thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality on our recent stay. Our gratitude goes out especially to Amanda at the front desk, who so often would do, or say something to make us feel extra welcome. Please share this letter with her. Thanks,Pat Ramnarine and Carol Ramnarine,Tim and Cyndy Goodman,Kelly and Amanda Ramnarine,

2022-01-26We arrived in a little later than expected, due to weather conditions. However, we had the utmost service. The attendant was very helpful, gave us a better room, explained the facilities to us, and gave us recommendations for dinner. The suite was what you normally get a this price range, but the service was higher than expected. We enjoyed our quick stay, was thankful the gym was open, and their pool was as well. Some places do not offer gym or pool because of COVID 19.

2022-05-10At check-in I was greeted warmly and it was a fast and easy experience. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was 86 degrees and 3-5 ft which was perfect to relax in. The breakfast was better than typical so I highly recommend starting here. The attendant working the food area was extraordinary and she deserves high praise.

2022-03-14So far, this hotel just doesn’t hit the mark at all. The front desk people are friendly. However, there was a pill under the refrigerator when we checked in, a blue m&m under the table that my 23 month old could have found. I was told “sorry about that”. The room is dated and the furniture is stained. The bathtub stopper doesn’t do much of anything. The toilet is not secure, it wobbles very bad. Was told there were hot sandwiches to go with breakfast, and of course they were out, and was told smart TVs in the room. They aren’t.

2022-06-21Front desk personnel welcomed us and checked us in quickly. However.......the room was a giant let down. With holes in the carpet, furniture so dirty we had to sit on a towel first, the grouting was so cracked in the tub/shower Im sure the unit below ours had water spots on the ceiling. We have been coming to this facility for 8+ years, unfortunately it is now in a state of disrepair and simply.......worn out! Doesnt speak well of management to allow such a nice place to backslide so far.

2022-06-22Lady working the front desk June 22nd around 6:00 PM was very rude towards me. I was delivering a pizza to a customer at this hotel like a usually do and they always just let me walk to the room. This lady told me to sit down while she called the customer so I obliged. I was told I was allowed to finally go up after the phone call and she called my customer and told him not to leave me a tip because I was rude? Shes highly unprofessional and needs reprimanded immediately.

2022-04-18Hotel in bad need of repairs! Our carpet was completely worn through in a 1 foot area right in the middle of the living room area. No foot stool in the room to put your feet up on to relax. All faucets dripped a lot the entire stay. Room had a weird smell, possibly from added humidity from the dripping faucets. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly.

2022-06-09Very disappointed. Long time customer. Was just quoted 200% more than Ive ever paid for the same concert we go to every year. They are not loyal to their customers who are loyal to them. Choose another brand.
