Stopped in prepared to buy parts for my turkey fryer burner... they were extremely helpful!! They could have just made a sale but instead, gave me great advice on several things to check out on my existing burner before replacing with it new parts. Thats GREAT customer service!
Came to fix my grill today. Did an excellent job. Was very helpful and very knowledgeable. It is working great now. Appreciate the warranty. Also appreciate the advice regarding the grill parts and when they should be replaced. Highly recommend anyone who needs help with their current grill to use Country Hearth! Highly recommend them.
I was having some problems with my fireplace and thought I needed a new remote which I did not need. Lee was very professional and honest with me regarding what I need to do from now on to take care of our beautiful fireplace. Thank you so very much for coming out and taking care of that for us. Dave does a great job. Replaced fan which was rebuilt and said if we werent satisfied with the way it worked he would order us a new one and deduct the price of the rebuilt one. Weve dealt with him for 11 years and couldnt be happier. In the mean time Dave discovered that the main burner was cracked. He said he didnt think it was covered under warranty. He made a call to the manufacturer and they sent a new one at no charge. As it turned out the rebuilt fan did not work out. Dave said he would order a new one. In the mean time the carona virus hit. Parts didnt come in. Fast forward to August 14, 1920 six month later:Dave showed up today and installed the new fan which works very well. I asked him what I owed and he said, No Charge, Thank you for being so patient. What a great company, what a way to run a business.
Terrific employees and service here. I have bought a grill from them in the past, and they are currently helping me and my wife with our fireplaces in our new house. Cant recommend them enough!

This is a GREAT company. I have an older model gas fireplace that needs a new blower and they are doing their best to find one to fit it so I dont have to buy a new fireplace. Thanks to all of you at Country Hearth!
In a word: Fabulous. Country Hearth installed two fireplace units in my home, one a gas wood burner and the other a ceramic log unit. Both fit the decor beautifully and are extremely efficient. Dave just left after checking both, cleaning the pilots...a little regular maintenance before the harsh weather sets in!I highly recommend Country Hearth.
Lee was fantastic. He was knowledgable and talked me through what he was doing. He was able to fix the issue that were were experiencing when another company could not. He also went above and beyond to make the fireplace look great. I would highly recommend him!

The older guy, maybe the owner was knowledgeable. He was just rude and not very personable; had the know it all personality. Was hard to feel comfortable to make a large purchase.

Our natural gas fireplace is 25 years old. We had been told by the original installers service people in the last 2 years that the unit was so old we might soon need to replace it. Weve done all we can for it. This November we were told that it was done for good.While searching for a replacement, we were referred to Country Hearth on Dorr Street in Toledo Ohio. Tim told us he couldnt believe the unit couldnt be fixed so he came out to look at it. He found the unit was all good, but a bird had nested in the outside piping! He cleaned everything up including the glass front which wed been told was clouded permanently! Instead of thousands we spent alittle over $100!Tim is a knowledgable, trustworthy and honest businessman. A rare find!
Excellent service. They helped me get new doors for 1980s fireplace when other shops told me it wasnt possible. They also converted my wood burning fp to gas. I have recommended them to others.
Country Hearth came out to service my Napoleon gas fireplace. They were very professional and spent a lot of time making sure all of the pieces and parts were in working order. This fireplace has never worked so well!Thank you Country Hearth!
The staff was very knowledgeable they were helpful it felt like I was dealing with family instead of some stranger gave me several options let me decide which one I thought would work the best. It didnt stop there but the installers in the service people that came out to set things up or just as courteous and kind as a sales staff!
Its literally a mom and pop shop. I needed to get a fireplace fan fixed. They tried to fix it, but after bringing it home the problem returned. They refunded the repair price and ordered a brand new fan for me. While there I got an idea for a tool for a fire pit and they have an in-house fabricator who worked with me on the design. He underquoted it originally but didnt charge me a nickel more in the end. Very friendly and fair people there. Try them first for fireplace needs.

Always helpful and knowledgeable! If you are shopping for a grill please keep in mind they only carry quality grills. This isnt like shopping at Walmart. If you are ready for quality I highly recommend looking here.

I hate this stove.... when I try to put wood in it the smoke backs out and fills the room with smoke . I hate this stove this was our Christmas present to each other last year and Ive been unhappy ever since with it.

2020-01-08Rod and Lee arrived and immediately got to work. They were very professional and clearly experts. The previous company I had out to look at my gas fireplace that had not worked in 5 years said it was unfixable. Rod and Lee had it back to perfect shape in an hr. Country Hearth only charges one service fee even if multiple trips are needed and provides a 1 year warranty. Use this company for your fireplace needs!

2021-11-19I have worked with the country hearth since 1981, have bought 4 fireplace units , and out door grills from them. Always great service , advice, installation. Not to mention great personal service.Just bought ventless gas log set and love them. For my new home. I wont go anywhere else for my fireplace needs or advice.

2020-12-26Highly recommended. Better prices and better customer service than their competitors around the corner. I purchased a gas log set for my fireplace. Tim opened the box and did all the remote pre-wiring for me. All I had to do was hook up the gas line and install. Made my Christmas day much easier.

2019-11-27The gas fireplace in our recently purchased home had not been used for going on three years. Called Country Hearth and when I heard that if they couldnt fix it there would be no charge I made the appointment. Lee arrived and did a thorough job of inspecting and cleaning and was able to revive our fireplace. He wanted to be sure that it was 100% so said he would call us in a few days to make sure it was still working and would take our payment information then. I would heartily recommend Country Hearth for any fireplace or grill work needed. It is a family owned business and they definitely go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied.

2020-09-19Had my first experience at County Hearth today and I was so impressed. We took a part off of my outdoor propane fire pit that was working. Dave and the other gentleman took the time to work on the part and figure out the problem free of charge. He told us if for some reason the pit doesnt work to bring it in and they would figure it out for us. I will be bringing all my business to them and sending all of my friends there. Extremely pleased customer 😁

2019-12-08The original manufacturer of our fireplace unit does not seem to be in business anymore but we needed the fireplace to be serviced and repaired because it wasnt putting out enough heat. Fortunately Country Hearth was able to diagnose, repair, and clean the unit and get it back up and running like new. In addition they gave me some pointers on how to keep the unit running smoothly and to get it working in conjunction with the ceiling fans to distribute heat more effectively throughout the room. The 2 gentlemen that worked on the fireplace were not only highly knowledgeable but were friendly and explained how important it was to keep the fireplace clean and maintained to get the most out of it during the tough Winters. Bottom line: I will be calling Country Hearth for any and all fireplace services.
