Bought a 2011 Chevrolet Cruise. My husband took it in for an oil change. They put a bigger oil pan plug in, told my husband when they did it. Fast forward., he brought it back in to get an oil change. They said it was the wrong size drain plug, and denied having done it in the first place. Told him oil was leaking, also told him the oil pan needed replaced, cost? $1000. Went to Central Garage changed the oil, no leak, no new oil pan.
Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. They got it done quick & had me on my way. I was working remotely that day and the wifi was excellent. They got the job done in an hour or less. Other non-chevy dealerships with previous vehicles service takes all day. Caughlin is quick and professional. This was my second visit and theyve done great both times.
Took my 2021 Corvette in for its first service. Was advised there was a recall item that needed to be addressed. They completed the work and, on the drive home, I noticed the radio was not working properly (related to recall/update). Returned to the dealership, they corrected the issue within an hour. I was completely satisfied with the experience.
When we arrived at the dealership and began looking at trucks, a nice, polite, young man named Stanley approached and began talking to us. He was very helpful and we got answers to all of our questions. Before we left with the new truck, he went over all the features of the truck and told us to call him with any questions.
The guys here are great. My less than perfect snow driving skills landed me stuck on a curb behind their building. A passerby, who I am sure works there, directed me to go inside and assured me they would help get me out. They trampled out in the freezing cold and snow and pulled me right out. They were so kind and helpful. I can’t say enough about their character. I’m not sure of their names BUT I’m sure they probably deserve raises and a steak dinner. Interactions like these build businesses. Honestly, kind of hoping my car isn’t drivable and I need another one- to which I would definitely come here. Thanks so much to you two! Wish I remembered your names but you know who you are (:
The showroom is clean and inviting. Everyone there is helpful without being pushy. It is really impressive that the employees remember me between visits. As a customer, it makes me feel more like a person than a number. John Riley and Shannon Jones kept me informed along the way. Their extra effort will keep me coming back.
This would have been 5 stars. I’ve always been happy with the people and the service. However, this time I was given a rental car to use for the day and it wasn’t until I was on my way to return the rental car that I noticed that I drove around All Day with No Tags on the car. I’m just glad that no police cars ever drove behind me. I dodged a ticket. I will definitely do an inspection if that ever happens again! Still happy with Coughlin though.
It was Saturday when we stop in and decided to buy a truck for our daughter. They could of have wrote down everything that we talked about and when Monday morning came they could of ordered the stuff that needed to be ordered and schedule the appointments to get it into the deal tail shop and the bed liner shop and could of had everything done by Thursday but they waited until they got the check from my bank before they got around of ordering and scheduling. We were mad but they finally got the things done like what we asked but we had to wait and then they had wait for us to come pick the truck up. At the end everything looked amazing and the truck drove and rode smooth. My daughter is gonna love her new truck.
The service advisor, Ben, and automotive technician, Jason, took the time to explain the large number of errors that had been made by the body shop, including a broken bracket inside the engine housing and several misaligned body pieces, as well as a leaking transmission which may be related to the poor workmanship on behalf of the body shop. Their help with identifying these issues is greatly appreciated.
Experience was great as this was my second time buying a vehicle from here with in 10 months and 3rd in a 6 year span. Shannon Jones has always been great with me in getting me a vehicle, his professionalism, customer service skills and just going above & beyond are top notch! Only thing I think could be better is working with customers in buying a vehicle as I feel there is more room to negotiate pricing other than that always been a great experience.
The lady who checked me in was super nice. I booked my appointment online for 10am, for a simple oil change and battery replacement. Didn’t get out of there until after 1pm. They then charged $250 labor for a battery install. Yes- I know it’s more labor intensive on a corvette, but I’ve also seen a YouTube video of a guy doing it in 15min real time.
I came in on Saturday to test drive a Corvette and talk to Rick Conti. I found one I really liked and Rick gave me an excellent deal and so I drove home in a brand new Corvette. Rick is amazing, friendly, down to earth, and extremely knowledgeable about the car. The shop cleaned the car up real nice and topped off the tank, and everyone there was very nice, even the guys in the shop were nice enough to ask how everything was going. The showroom is nice and very clean. If you love Corvettes, this is the place to go, I enjoyed looking through all of Ricks Corvette memorabilia in his office too. I will only buy my next Corvette from Rick!
We decided to take advantage of some crazy high trade in prices and extra incentives from Ford and buy new car for my wife. Only problem was that cars are few and far between right now. After a lot of searching in a 200 mile radius and phone calls to multiple dealers, I spoke with Jake Morgan at Coughlin Ford and they had just the Escape we were looking for. Took care of most everything over the phone, including the price for my trade. We made the 200 mile drive to complete the paperwork and pick up the car. Over all and outstanding experience. Jake did a great job searching out other incentives we qualified for and making sure the new car was ready to go when we arrived. Brian Newhouse in the Finance department took great care of us and there was no pressure on the up-sells. I would definitely make the 200 mile journey again to buy a car from Jake and Coughlin Ford.
Everything was fixed. I appreciate their customer service and follow-up. Thank you!~*~*~*~*~ Update ~*~*~*~*~*~Dropped off the car at the Collision Center to get the side mirror fixed and get some paint buffed as per the estimate. Upon picking the vehicle up, they did not buff the paint and I noticed railway dust on the paint of the vehicle. When asking about these issues i was met with anger and frustration. Eventually the gentleman did help, but i still notice railway dust on some parts of the paint so not all of it was cleaned up. Whats more upsetting is now I hear a rattle when i play music coming from the door. Something inside must not be very well connected, because when i just put a slight bit of pressure on the door the rattle stops. I WANT ALL THESE ISSUES FIXED PLEASE!!!
I had an outstanding experience at Coughlin Ford when I purchased a new Ford F-150. John Lee, my sales representative, is the most capable and helpful such person I’ve dealt with since I began buying new cars in the 1980s. Brian, the business manager, was also a great pleasure to work with as we closed the sale. I’ve been taking my Ford trucks to Coughlin for service during the past few years and will definitely continue to do so. Tiffany is particularly helpful, but the entire service team is great. As long as Coughlin Ford continues this extraordinary level of service, I’ll keep going there.
We had a wonderful experience with the Coughlin team. We were lucky to have the vehicle come in on the day we inquired. At the end of the day, we went out on a whim and were greeted with smiles, and a fun atmosphere. John Lee helped walk us through the process and before we knew it…we had our new Ranger (Tremor). I have had long days trying to buy cars in the past, but this was easy, awesome…and I can’t wait to come back for our next car!
This review is long overdue. I always have excellent service when it comes to Coughlin. Tiffany from the service department has always went the extra mile to make sure I get what I need. I drive 30 minutes just to use Coughlin, when there are closer dealerships to where I live. The only issue I have is its hard to get an appointment in a timely manner, but that is to be expected considering how busy they are. Keep up the good work Coughlin.
This was my first time buying a car and Tim was a fantastic man who helped me find the right car. He had been working with my family for years and every time we had a specific needs, he would find us cars that were right within our price ranges! Amazing man and friendly service form everyone there!!
I am 57 and have bought many cars over my lifetime. I love the banter of a back and forth deal where both parties can agree or disagree on a deal and be men about an outcome.I went to spend over 50k of my hard earned money on a truck today. I told them the deal I would like to make with my trade in. The sales manager came back with the words Im sorry but we cannot help you out today, we are miles apart, thank you and have a good day! WHAT?There was no counter offer at all. It was if they didnt want to sell the truck. This had nothing to do with credit either (I told them I could work this many ways including paying cash).Im totally baffled over my experience and would never recommend Couglin. As a side note: The salesman wanted my social security number before we even worked any kind of pricing out. I made the mistake of giving it to him. After I realized he may be checking my credit before we even had something worked out on a price, I told him do not ding my credit until we have a deal worked out. He agreed and said he wouldnt do that.I got a message after I left that said thanks for choosing Couglin for your vehicle purchase and that my credit was good and they looked forward to my purchase.NEVER make the mistake that I did by providing your social security number before you work out a deal.
I had an issue with the daytime running lights on my Acadia Denali, and since I was in the area I stopped into the Coughlin Service Drive without an appointment to see if anyone could help. I was seen immediately upon entering and after explaining my problem to a service representative, I was told to have a seat and he would see if he could have someone look at it. I sat down in the customer waiting area, and much to my pleasant surprise about 10 minutes later the tech came out to tell me the vehicle had been examined. He explained that sometimes lighting and other conditions could affect this function, and that there was no fault found with the system upon checking it out. My thanks to the staff at Coughlin Chevrolet of Pataskala for courteous, caring service!
We always receive excellent and professional service work from staff. They strive to keep the customer informed as work is completed and provide a comfortable waiting area and friendly environment. I always look forward to our visits and get updates on the latest vehicles and technology while there.
This was the best car buying experience we have EVER had! Our salesman Dale was super nice and not pushy at all. He was able to get a car to his dealership for us to drive within 24hrs and we loved it. Finance guy was equally as nice and informative. This dealership was welcoming and down to earth. No fancy sales tactics! They also have a diverse staff.
Shannon. Keith. And Shannon’s whole staff is beyond professional. They helped my wife find a vehicle after her previous vehicle was totaled. They met us the following day to sign paperworkThen they went out and found me a Chevy trail boss that I could trade my used truck in on.I hate buying cars but I would do business and recommend these guys to anyone and everyone.
THIEVES ABSOLUTE THIEVES!!! I took my car in for the check engine light on Monday. Later that afternoon, a service person called to say that the diagnostic test had to be performed when the car was cold. They kept the car overnight. Twice on Tuesday I inquired about my car with no response from Coughlin. Wednesday morning, today, I spoke with a service person only to be asked do you have a vehicle here. I assured them I did. After putting me on hold, person returns to inform me that a vehicle such as mine was not in the shop. Immediately, I notified OnStar, The Licking County Police and my insurance co of the theft. Some how Coughlin found my car. NEVER AGAIN!!!
My experience was phenomenal! Being a first time car buyer, I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Dale made my experience excellent from the first interaction. The whole team made sure I was fully informed about my decision and got me the best price they could on my new car. I felt comfortable, my questions were all answered and I never felt pushed into any decision. I drove away in my 2021 trailblazer feeling confident and secure in my decision. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!
Apt scheduled for 8:15am, I was told shouldn’t take long could pick up around noon. I dropped the truck off the night before.Called the dealership at noon for an update. Was told we are just now pulling it into the bay, someone will callyou back in a couple minutes with an update on how long it will take. No call received! 2pm my ride takes me to the dealer. Uh it’s not ready we just started on it. I leave and tell them to call me when it’s done. Service manger calls me 1hour later to tell me they will be finished in about 10mins and I can come pick it up. I bought an 80k truck at this dealership I’m was very disappointed in the sales experience and now for the first service it was a disaster. We have bought 2 vehicles at Byers Chevrolet since my purchase and have had nothing but a great experience from sales and service. This will be the last time I visit Coughlin I will take my vehicle to another dealer for service from now on.
All good. Got me out early and recommend a few things I needed and my car smells new again. Did not know about a filter for the passenger compartment. Mechanic left a tool extension in my passenger seat and I took it back a few days later. That should tell you how much I like their service. It was 15 miles out of my way.
I bought my car from Coughlin back in 2015 and have taken my car there for all services needed (all oil changes, tires, and now breaks.) I bought four new tires back in December and after a few services where they told me my lug nuts were swollen, I thought they had replaced them. I mean they damaged all four tire rims for whatever reason (they didnt even manage to mention it to me, I just found them damaged) so I would assume to get the tires off??? I just had my next service since buying the new tires and was once again told my lug nuts were swollen. I told the lady that I thought they were replaced back in December like I told them to (yeah my BAD for assuming). She looks at the records and doesnt see anything, no duh seeing how they are still swollen. If they are noticing issues why are they not noting it down in my records, so the next time they could mention it when scheduling my appointment on service(s) I might need?!?Scheduling my appointment was another issue. I called the only time to even drop off my car was a month out. I took that one month appointment because like I said, I take my car for all services to Coughlin.Customer Service in the Service department has never been (in my mind) great but it was doable. But after this time, I believe it is time to move on from Coughlin. And here to think I have already started thinking of getting a new car. Guess I will be finding a different dealer for that as well.
Very accommodating ----- I had scheduled an oil change on line for my Corvette, but didnt realize they are scheduled separately from the other vehicles. After driving 1.5+ hrs to my scheduled appointment I was told that the car wasnt on the Corvette schedule. But, Tristan was able to work my car in and there was no significant wait to have my service performed that day.Craig
We just had our 3rd buying experience at Coughlin. We keep going back because of the service every time. This time we opted for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited. Stacey in sales was awesome. She had first hand knowledge with Jeeps, which proved to be very helpful. She wasn’t pushy and worked on our time line and had great communication! We will continue to go back each time its time for a new vehicle and highly recommend Stacey. Thanks so much!!
While traveling from out of town, my service engine light came on. Called and got an appointment the same day within just a couple hours. Everyone was so nice. Darren greeted us upon arrival. Was very helpful and friendly. John gave us a loaner car since they would have my vehicle for a couple hours and had a hungry child. Scott (I think was the other guys name) explained everything in detail and they got us back on the road by early evening. Very friendly and very helpful. Definitely would recommend. Would even consider making the 7 hour drive to purchase my next vehicle there.
Attempted to purchase a used 2020 GMC Denali truck. One of the managers had been driving it so it was filthy, inside and out. He had to remove his personal belongings from inside so I could take it for a test drive. Should have know that was a bad sign. After the test drive, sat with used car manager, Shannon. No one ever drove my personal truck I was trading in. The 2nd manager, Bob came into the process and offered me $5k below the low end KBB trade in value. No attempt to lower the price on the Denali. Told me he could send it to auto auction and make more than he could selling it to me. Why even list it for sale if you feel you can make more at auction? Poor experience.
I had the best service I’ve ever had vehicle hunting! Jason was amazing, compassionate and very personable. He treated me as if he was the one purchasing a vehicle, because of him I’ll keep buying Chevy cars! On top of Jason, Keith the finance guy was precise, tick and tied the figures together! He was even able to tell me about additional maintenance for my vehicle! Robert (Allstate insurance) was wonderful to the point of me switching my insurance from StateFarm! Love the family vibe in your facility! Thanks again everyone:-)
Great dealership. Everyone was very friendly from the salesman ( Matt) all the way through financing. Made my wife and I fell comfortable.I had been looking around for a diesel pickup for about 2 months, but none had all the options I was looking for, at a price I was comfortable with. I end up purchasing a 2016 Ford F-350 Lariat with under 31,000 miles. Got a great deal on it and Coughlin also gave me more for my trade-in than I expected. For a bunch of Ohio State fans ( and one Michigan fan) these guys were alright and gave this Sooner something that he could be proud of at a great price.BOOMER!!!
We had a great experience at coughlin Pataskala. Terry was our sales man and was absolutely wonderful. Everyone at this location was very nice and helpful. We have bought a couple cars and by far this location was the best. They delivered what they said and was not there for hours. We will definitely be back. Thank you all so much.
I found a 2009 Corvette for sale at Coughlin Chevrolet and was going to trade my 1999 Corvette - i took the time, did the research and got a fair price for my trade (sight unseen) and a manageable balance, so I was in contact with the sales department and worked out the details- I made a hotel reservation as I was coming in from out of the state, got a loan from the bank, got all of the required insurance documents they asked for, lien release paperwork etc...spoke with the sales department again to make sure we were a go, packed up my car and hit the road. about an hour into the 8 hour ride, he texted me and said they sold the vehicle the night before and it was no longer available. The salesman decided a text was sufficient and didnt even call to tell me what happened - I was forced to turn back for home, dejected and quite awestruck that this was actually happening. This is a fantastic way of doing business and a sure fire way to get and keep customers. Way to go Coughlin, you earned a few extra dollars vs. keeping your word and earning a new customer - you should be ashamed of the way this went down.
Im so happy to find a dealership thats so professional and best salesman to deal with. Excellent service along with VERY good communication.Given the out-of-state purchase, the process went very smooth. Only negative comment, GM extremely slow on sending the dealer the accessories for installation.FYI - had to purchase the side rockers from another company at a cost of $750. Chuck installed and THEN as car was getting ready to be shipped, GM rockers arrived. GM warehouse gets a very negative rating.
First, I had an appointment to find out what was wrong with the AC in my truck. I specifically asked them to tell me how much it would cost to fix it. $220 later, they tell me what was wrong. Had I of known it was going to cost that much just to diagnose I wouldn’t have brought it in. I’m in the process of selling my truck so I called in the morning right when they opened to have a service advisor email a copy of the inspection/diagnosis so I have paperwork proving what the issue is to prospective buyers. I ended up throwing the original document/invoice away but didn’t think it would be a big deal to get the record after contacting the dealership. Well, no email was sent so later that same day I called and asked for the same thing. The response I got was “the service advisers have been busy all day” even though I called first thing and later in the day. Here I am now 4 days later with still no response. Some of the poorest customer service I have ever experienced
Dale Chapman made this the easiest purchase ever He was very informative punctual and polite! He made buying my new Tahoe so easy and carefree. With my full time work schedule and living over 2 hours away I was amazed just how easy he made it all. Definitely recommending your dealership to our family and friends!!
Even though I didnt get my car back the same day as I brought it in, the situation was explained to me (trouble with the car that was ahead of mine) as to why mine wouldnt be ready the same day. I realize things happen and appreciate being told what was going on versus something that made up. Ive had 3 different interactions with the Service department and Ive been very pleased all 3 times. I will continue to use the Coughlin service department.
Two tires for my Corvette were $925 plus billed 2 hours of time for $100. Should have gotten work done at a tire store which I found out later would have cost $558 for same tires and taken 1 hour.Had a broken front air deflector replaced. Easily accessed part held on by 6 screws which were not rusted. Billed for 1 hour of time. I estimate I could have done it laying on my back in my garage in 20 or 30 minutes.Ill use Coughlin for complex work but for simple stuff they seem to price product and labor very aggressively.
Kevin, our sales guy was fantastic. He was personable and not fake and phony like other salespeople. He found a car to work in our budget so our son could drive for work and college. Not only was he top notch, but Bob the manager and Eli our finance guy, were all so warm and friendly. Thank you guys!!
From the time I pulled up to the dealership I knew I made the right choice to have Coughlin service my vehicle. I was greeted immediately in the service bay by some of the industries most knowledgeable service techs. We discussed the service they were going to perform on my vehicle. I expressed a couple minor concerns I had about my vehicle. The gentleman assured me they would address them during their free safety check! The service tech told me it would take no longer than one hour to perform my service. They were done in roughly 45 minutes. As I waited in the lounge area several of the employees offered me free beverages and snacks. I truly felt like I was part of their family. I have never felt so comfortable turning my keys over! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this facility. Thanks team Coughlin.
We dealt with Bethany about 6 months ago. I was not happy at the time but decided not to post a review while I was angry. However, Im still mad every time I think about this place. And I would not recommend doing business at this location. We heard several times Ill take care of you. I can assure you she did not take care of us! I watched the finance guy roll his eyes about us several times. Apparently he had forgot his office has glass windows. It was just all around awful! But my husband was in love with this truck so we bought it anyway. Now we are having issues with the screen on the dash but really just dont want to deal with them again. We have even paid for our oil changes elsewhere instead of using the free oil changes we got from them.
I have dealt with Coughlin when they were in Hebron, Ohio. and when they moved to Pataskala, Ohio. A wonderful dealership in those 2 areas. It has been many many years. Great people there. Dale Chapman is a wonderful person and salemen. The oil change division is always great.
Nick in the service area was very easy to work with. He listened to my issues and even though the issue could not be duplicated, he offered me the ability to bring my truck back in if the issue persisted. He kept me up to date on what was being done and the types of tests being conducted.
Shannon and the rest of the crew that helped me was absolutely terrific! Very family oriented and warm place to purchase a vehicle. Coughlin is a great place that will welcome you with open arms. They do not try and sell cars, they work with you to try and find what is the best option for you financially and personally.
Stopped in today not to buy a car, but simply needed a 5 dollar out of state VIN inspection, on a motorcycle none the less. I was greeted by Service Advisor Tristan Kennedy. Very friendly, talkative, and all-around extremely pleasant, even though she despises the heat:) My 5 dollar request would have usually resulted in it simply being a bother to a typical employee of any company. Not Tristan. She didnt make me feel like I was a bother, which I did as Im sure she had bigger/better things to do. I just wanted to let the owners know that you have a great employee there in Kristan. While my family has bought two Hyundais in the past from Coughlin, and your Nissan dealership was fantastic on pricing for some parts on needed, rest assure, if my wife starts eye-balling one of those new Camaros or Vettes, Ill be sure to stop in at Coughlin Chevrolet first, all because of the short, but enjoyable, encounter with your employee Tristan Kennedy! You dont find employees with her attitude in this world. Keep her on the payroll!!!
I follow Rick Conti on YouTube. Rick is a fine person; he genuinely cares about his customers, Corvettes, and the buying experience. Chuck Metts and Nate also add to the overall experience. While I would have bought from Rick; I wanted my C8 prepped by Chuck and Nate. Their care and professional skills are exemplary. I only wish I could have them service my car all the time (I live in Texas).
Kevin Richard was my salesman. He was not pushy or too stand offish. He was personable and friendly. I felt he was a no nonsense honest salesman which is what i was looking for. The dealership made it very easy to purchase the truck. My finance guy (cant remember his name) was awesome. He had my papers ready when I walked in. He understood that no meant no. I find that very frustrating when you say no to a product and they keep pushing. He respected my decision and moved on. I was very pleased with my overall experience.
Everytime I bring my car in for minor repairs, it always takes weeks. A part was supposed to be in days before they ended up finally overnighting the part. Each time I am left without my car and the loaners are never up to par with what I currently drive. This time someone even scratched my car, I was promised a call and it will be one week tomorrow with no call.. its obvious that they do not care
I flew down from MN to purchase a 2016 GMC 3500. I was promised that with only 16,000 miles this truck was immaculate. Once I arrived it was nothing but poor communication and let downs. The truck was not even close to immaculate. There were rock chips everywhere, the interior still was never detailed, and it looked like the truck had closer to 116,000 miles. But they told me that the truck went through an extensive inspection and everything came back great. I was already there and figured with how tough it was going to be to find another one I just purchased it. Thats when the real problems started. After leaving the dealership on my drive back to MN I encountered a snow storm. As I was driving through it I tried to use the windshield washer and, nothing. And on top of it after an hour of the wipers going the passenger wiper blade ripped off so I was stuck with 1 wiper and no washer fluid in a snow storm. Fast forward to my arrival in MN. The truck has been at my shop for a day or two now and I run out to start it. Dead, nothing. Try to jump it, nothing. So I pull the batteries and have them tested. The one battery is shot and the other is barely hanging on. So I grabbed 2 new batteries and threw them in...$450.00. A week later I notice that the front tires have gone down in tread extensively since I left the dealership. Keep in mind that I have yet to put 1500 miles on yet! So I bring it to an alignment shop and they told me the front end is out of spec which is why it ate through the tires. They align the truck install 2 new tires and put in a new washer pump...$1,100.00. Then that same week I notice that the front fuel tank (its a dual tank setup) is never going down. So I bring it to a dealership in MN to take a look. They tell me it needs a new transfer pump line kit and a re-flash to the ECM...$900.00. So far I have driven this truck less than 2500 miles and Ive had to put over $2500 into it. I called the sales manager this week and he basically told me Im screwed. But If I wanted to drive down to OH he would take a look at it! Bless his heart. I told him that its odd that this truck went through such an extensive 2hr. inspection and none of this was caught. Do they test the wipers? Do they test the washer motor? Do they test the batteries? He even said the first thing they do is put it on an alignment rack! Shouldnt that have been caught then? Im assuming their techs are completely incompetent at their jobs and the customer is left to suffer the consequences. The only recourse I have now is to contact my lawyer and see what protection the consumer has in a situation like this, and continue to pay the repair bills. Thanks for the lemon Coughlin!
Joe was my salesman fantastic he took the time to answer all my questions I called him and bugged them probably 15 times he took pictures of the vehicle I purchased and handled everything professionally I definitely will be buying another vehicle in the future from this dealership even though its four and a half hours away from my house that its worth the trip his name is Joe Westbrook fantastic fantastic I cant say enough
I just bought a new 2021 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss today 4/30/2021 from Coughlin Chevy of Pataskala. Man phenomenal service start to finish. I had the Pleasure of working with Keith Buzzard and Terry was our Salesman. Both super great guys, showed me a ton of respect for being a Retired Disabled Veteran and former LEO. I would highly recommend working with these two. If your in the market stop in and see these guys you wont be disappointed! Thanks again fellas!
Coughlin of Pataskala made the entire process easy and enjoyable.Stephan and entire staff were very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted and accommodated me.If you are shopping for a new car this is the place to go.I look forward to doing more business in the future
Rick Conti, our sales person, was very helpful through out the entire buying process. Also, Eli Winland in signing the documents. This was an out of state transaction which made purchasing more difficult but the people at Coughlin are experts. We are so happy with our new C8 Corvette. Thank you, Rick and Couglin Chevrolet, for helping us get our dream car.
The staff (specifically Stacey) was very accommodating! They coordinated bringing a vehicle from one of their dealerships to one that was closer to me, worked within my budget, understood when I was on a tight time table and were very responsive to any questions I had. Overall it was a better experience than I could have asked for!
Very disappointed! Made two trips there looking for a new $75k dually truck. At first the salesman was very nice. We decided to move forward with the purchase and asked for the price. He gave us the standard discount every dealer on Chevys web site was advertising. I countered him just a few hundred dollars less to match an out of town dealer and he turned into the most unprofessional salesperson Ive ever met. He practically through us out of the dealership. Smacking his hands on the table advising us to go elsewhere. As we are walking to our car, he sped by in the truck we intended to buy as if to give us the finger. Shameless unprofessional behavior.
We were so happy with everyone at this coughlin. Stacy McClintock was our sales person and was so very helpful. She took great care of us and made sure we were happy with everything. Made sure that the care was completely detailed and perfect for when we were ready to pick it up. If you read this Stacy, Thank you. I will buy another car from you.
My second traverse from Coughlin. The Pataskala dealership is top notch. Shannon Jones went above and beyond to help us with our trade-in. Just a fantastic experience again with y’all. Special thanks to Steve in finance as well. I’ve been coming to that service dept since we purchased our first traverse in 17, again top notch service department as well. Thanks again from the Herberts
Nick the Service writer gets me in & gets my truck Serviced quickly so that I can get back on the road ASAP! That means alot to me since this is my Busy Season! At a time when some people think the Dealership is a Bad Choice when it comes to Vehicle Service, Nick makes Coughlin a Very Good Choice!
I never take the time to write a review, until now. I would like to thank Cory Rose and the entire Coughlin team with helping my wife and I in the purchase our new F-450. It was the easiest, hassle free transaction I ever had. We were both blown away with the NO PRESSURE sales. Cory Rose was more like an advisor than a salesman. He helped us understand our needs and then put us in the right truck. I highly recommend Cory Rose if your looking for a new truck. Thanks Coughlin!!
Worked with an awesome group of guys today buying a Traverse. Terry was the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with. So down to earth, not pushy and very honest! He looked for exactly what I wanted and texted me the moment it got there! We will be back for our next car! Thanks Terry!!
I have a 12 focus with a distorted fuel tank recall. Coughlin of Pataskala reflashed the computer in February and they said to return it if that doesnt work and we will replace the fuel tank. After a year of covid quarantine and waiting a month to get an appointment, they wont honor what they said. Instead they want to charge me 750.00 because the float is sticking. You dont replace a fuel pump that works for a distorted fuel tank. I called Ford customer service and they were no help. I gave them the recall numbers(18s32 & 19s22) on the tank and they only want to deny help based on timelines. Ford has lost a lifelong customer. They released a defective product and will not fix it.
Service advisors and technicians failed to provide detailed information ;regarding the problem resolution. Updates were applied with no technical notes or cross-reference to any release notes demonstrating their relevance. ECM records and freeze frame data documenting previous instances of the issues experienced were requested repeatedly, yet not provided. Ultimately, no definitive explanation was provided that would demonstrate that any of the work completed will resolve the reported issue going forward and all requests to get additional details were met with poor attitudes by the service advisor, avoidance by technicians, and misleading policy statements. Instead of being transparent and open, this service appointment was exactly the type of experience that earns dealership service departments a shady reputation.
I just bought a new car from Rick Conti and the experience was the best I’ve ever had. He is several steps above any salesman I have ever dealt with , and I’ve bought over 40 vehicles between my wife and I. The whole Coughlin experience was top notch. I am 800 miles away, and even with the shipping cost they were cheaper and had better service. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys.
We worked with Kevin and John Riley at Coughlin Pataskala. They made our buying experience extremely easy. We are new to the GM family after switching from Toyota, and the experience we had with the staff at Coughlan will definitely keep them first on our list of dealerships to work with in the future.
Great selection of Stingrays that I went out of State to purchase.I bought a 2018 Chevy Stingray from Joe Westbrook. Joe and their Finance department did a great job, and provided fair pricing to make my dream come true. The 470 mile round trip was worth it. Thank you!
I just bought my first corvette, and our sales lady, Ms. Stacey McClintock was amazing!!! She was a tremendous help, made it fun, and had thorough knowledge of the cars we were interested in. Thank you Stacey!!! (Cameron LOL) Jason and I appreciate doing business with you!!!
Worst Online Customer Service Ever. I cannot give any information on a purchase because apparently they have enough business and don’t feel the need to communicate anything with a potential customer. Work days, so this was the easiest way of communicating a few simple questions to see if we can make a deal, but nope. 3-4 spam emails to one actual response that still didn’t answer the original correspondence. They must have a limit one reply every 2-3 days. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
Terrible service. Take my word and go to lash chevrolet in Johnstown. They are more strait forward and they will actually return your phone call. I have left message after message for caughlin with no return calls. Two times now they have tried to charge me for warranty issues. Stay away unless you like bad service.
I took my truck in to get its first service done and the service team was very respectful and on the ball. My vehicle was inspected upon entry and before the moved it and they found a small place on my fender where someone had hit it with their door sometime recently. Good eye! The service was prompt and clean. They allowed me to go back and watch my wheels being torqued as I requested. Thank you. Ill be back!
During this trouble time we are all living in.Jason was a great sales man and a big help making this process go so smooth and easy.He treated me like a friend and not just a customer.Any one looking to buy at the Pataskala Dealership.I would highly recommend you ask for Jason. He will take great care of you and I also got a great car and a good deal. Very Satisfied 😀
HUGE selection of trucks! Very nice people. Jake Morgan is the salesman to use. When I knew which truck was the one, Jake began to hustle. All paperwork and having a mechanic look it over before I drove it off the lot took 45 minutes! That’s never happened to me before. Thanks Jake. Coughlin Ford now has a lifetime customer.
We enjoy working with Jeff Haller. Always consistent and predictable. Does not fit the stereotype of car salesman, which is a good thing and why we keep coming back. Kudos to Jeff in commercial sales. We have been purchasing from him for 6 or 7 years now, and I highly recommend him.
Bob, Dale and Steve were really great to work with. All around great people! No pressure, very informative and helpful in making such an important purchase decision! If your are in the market for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend the team at Coughlin Chevrolet! And a shout out to Scott and the service team for doing a great job on my wifes car! New tires and an oil change. Much needed!
I got a call from gentlemen named Scott. He told me that the concerns about the noise is probably coming from the current wether and that the tires could not be balanced because of load force which was causing my vibration, he also added the brakes were in good shape no issues. I also was supposed to have a rotation done as well . When I picked the tuck up I noticed the same tiers were in the same spot based off my hubcaps (one stands out more then others). In addition, the paper work said brakes were bad as well as rotors and that was the reason for my issues. I took my truck to trails west (Local shop for lifted trucks and mud tiers) they balanced and rotated my tiers the same day with in a couple of hours. I called 4 time left 3 VM STILL HAVE YET TO GET A CALL BACK. Overall the service to get in was fast and simple. The care was unacceptable and very poor.
Gregg Wright made my service experience on 3/10/2021 outstanding. Gregg answered all my questions and concerns with a professional and friendly manner. I know that my knowledge about Corvette service needs is limited and Greggs experience was a valuable asset for me.I had hit an unmarked asphalt paving cutoff last summer and immediately felt some vibration in the front. I took my corvette to a Chevy dealer closer to me and they rebalanced all 4 wheels and gave me an alignment. The corvette rode better but I could still feel a slight vibration at times. I assumed it was due to my tires getting worn too. I called Gregg to get a set of new tires put on my Z06. When they started, the tech Chuck Metts (thank you Chuck) found that I had bent rims on 2 wheels. Greg immediately called me and suggested a 3rd party wheel specialist he could contact. Gregg called them out to the shop to see if they could straighten my wheels. It worked!!!When I picked up my corvette and pulled out of the lot I could immediately feel the difference in the ride. My Z06 ride was back to what it was like the first time I drove it off the lot.Bad news is that my Z06 rides so great again, I have no need for a new C8! LOL I am waiting to see what the C8 Z06 is like first anyway. Thanks again to Gregg Wright and the Tech Chuck Metts!!Thank you to the entire team at Coughlin Chevrolet of Pataskala!I will be back!!
Very friendly and efficient. The first time I went in for this appointment, the part needed for my car had not been ordered, so I had to reschedule. That was annoying. I feel the friendliness of my service guy and the overall demeanor of the staff there made up for it kind of.
Gave us a great deal on a used van and were patient with our kids as they hung out in the sales area. Even waiting through a delay with service as it took a while for the right parts to come in before we could purchase the vehicle, Matt did a great job keeping us updated daily with the status of the repair. Very friendly and helpful customer service.
I went here looking for a Corvette. Walked the lot for 15minutes checking out the cars and taking notes. Waited on someone to come out. Not a single person walks out so I go inside and ask for help, guy says Ill get someone out there for you. Ok, fine no problem even though I was the second customer they had at the time. 20 more minutes and another round of the lot, still no help. I left without having even been acknowledged as being there. Im a younger guy and can only assume they thought I wanted to joyride VS look for a car. Little did they know that this would have made my 4th Vette. Cost them a deal. I dont recommend you come here unless you want to be ignored or have something assumed of you off of your appearance.
Brought in for Bluetooth, USB, Aux issues. Was told my battery was what was at fault, they changed the battery and declared it fixed, got on site to pick up my car and the issue was not fixed, left the car for the second day, they called and said it was fixed but couldnt say how they fixed it, got on site and was able to recreate the same issue in front of the service manager, got told they could escalate it to TAC and would call me with next steps, never received call back. Paid $343 for a battery to be installed that did not fix my problem.
I took my vehicle that is still under warranty to Coughlin for repairs on my defective passenger side mirror three times, and they still have not fixed the problem. The third time I took it in, for the same problem, they gave my vehicle back and said the mirror only moves on its own a little bit. Wow! I love adjusting my side mirror every time I get in my vehicle. Coughlin employees consider that acceptable. I left them a voice message to call me back to discuss the next steps and they never called me back.
Can’t say enough about our car buying experience at Coughlin Chevy. We had the pleasure of working with Jason. He was very informative and hooked us up with a beautiful truck. We never felt any pressure and honestly the best car buying experiences we’ve had in a long time. Thank you so much Jason for all your help! We will be back!
I came here after being really screwed over at another dealership and they took care of me and made the experience so easy and effortless. It was like a breath of fresh air after dealing with an awful dealership the day before. So so thankful for John and Bethany and everyone else we dealt with!
Never bought a car from them as I have only been in the area a couple years. However I will based off their service department. I take my Silverado to them for all preventative maintenance. Not once have they tried to up sell anything to me. They do what I ask. Price is fair and Randy the service coordinator always calls me by my name when I pull the garage. Buy parts from them. The parts guys are friendly. Had to return an electrical part and no questions were asked. Overall experience is great.
For anyone in the market for buying a Chevy, I highly recommend Coughlin Chevrolet in Pataskala. This is the 4th new vehicle I have purchased from that dealership, and the 3rd vehicle from the same salesman, Joe Westbrook. He is wonderful to work with. Hes not high pressure, and hes honest. I am the queen of making deals on my vehicles. In fact, most salesmen pass me on to their manager because they are never authorized to go as low as I insist. But with Joe, I have not had to haggle at all. He always comes out exactly where I want to be! If you decide to go to Coughlin, ask for Joe and let him know I sent you. Hell take care of you! (And no, I was not paid for this recommendation. Ive just been really happy with them, and I cant usually say that about car dealerships. 😀)
UPDATE 3/30/18I received a call from Bob Thomas, the service manager, in regards to my review. He was very apologetic and understood my frustration. Gave me a thorough explanation of how I was unexpectedly charged for the extra work and is refunding me the entire cost. As a result, I’ve adjusted my rating to 5 stars. My Equinox had been having issues with oil consumption and the model was part of a safety bulletin that verified the issue. In order to qualify for service covered under warranty, I had to take it in to have the oil checked every 1k miles for a few months, so this resulted in several trips back and forth. The technicians I met during this time were always friendly, helpful and professional. My issues arose once the time came for my piston rings to be replaced (once it was verified that my car qualified for service). One of the previous techs had forewarned me that they would be so far down in the engine, that they would probably find additional issues NOT covered under warranty, but it would make sense to consider paying for the cost of the fix. He said if they did find those issues, they would call me first for approval to move forward with whatever it was. When I called to make the appointment, I asked the receptionist if she knew whether they would change my oil or not, as part of the warranty? She wasnt entirely sure and said I should ask the technician at the time of service. The service was going to take 2-3 days to complete. I dropped it off on a Sunday evening with a Monday appointment. By Tuesday morning, I still hadnt heard anything so I called to check on it; it was before they opened so I left a voicemail. By 1:00 pm, I still hadnt heard anything, so I called again and was told that it should be done by end of today, and as of now there have been no additional issues found. If something comes up, well call you. If not, well call you once its done.By 6 pm on Tuesday (they close at 7), I still hadnt heard anything, not even a notification that it was done. I called again and was told, yes, it was done and I could come get it. I was also told there would be a charge of $146 for replacement of a couple of coils. This was obviously news to me.. I told the guy I had called twice, and was never told about this. Whatever they replaced and the cost associated with it was not authorized. He said he would look into it and have more information by the time we arrived to pick it up.I was stuck at home with no car (because of course the warranty didnt cover a rental), and my husband was at work. With less than an hours notice, he had to drop everything he was doing and rush to the dealer before they closed to get my keys, so that I could drive to work the next day. By the time he got there, the only response he got in regards to the extra charges was Yes, sorry, we screwed up. There was no explanation, no offer for a discount. He still paid for it, since we expected some extra charges but if the first tech hadnt forewarned me of this, I would have been LIVID. He picked up the keys, drove home to pick me up, then we drove BACK to the dealer (thanks to the extremely late notice of the fact my car was ready). When he picked it up, my husband asked the technician if the oil was changed. The tech apparently looked at him like he was crazy and stated, Of course we did. Quite a different response from the lady I spoke to on the phone initially, but okay. When I got in my car, I noticed 1) there was no windshield sticker to indicate when my next oil change was needed, and 2) my oil level meter hadnt been reset. I expect this type of thing from a garage, but not the dealer themselves. I called back the next day and confirmed that yes, they did change my oil and mailed me a sticker. All in all, the customer service at this place was 50/50. The people at the front desks that interact with you initially are great, but the communication skills between all of them, which is imperative, is appalling. I would have expected WAY more communication on a service job as big as this one was.
Hard working friendly individuals. We made our second purchase. Consider them family, we are Coughlin customers for life. Arent treated like number, they really work to get you the best deal possible. Knowledgable staff and huge selection of inventory. Very pleased with our two purchases!
Contacted Rick Conti at the beginning of February 2021 about purchasing a New 2021 Corvette Stingray. Rick Conti has to be the rudest car sales person I have ever talked to about buying a new car. In the last 4 months he has not returned any phone calls, texts or emails. I have been pre-approved through the bank and have no trade. This was a complete waste of time. I would rate Rick Conti ZERO Stars out of a possible five.
Horrible experience with salesman self claiming to be the best salesman in the area. HIS opinion of himself was verbalized to me multiple times. He wasnt convincing me regardless of the number times he repeatedly sang his own praises. He chose my vehicle, had everything settled by himself without MY input other than stating I was looking for an AWD SUV. Unless he is making MY payments, MY vehicle is MY choice, not HIS. He couldnt understand why I was not pleased with him taking care of EVERYTHING for me. He ran with my AWD/SUV wish, insisted I complete an online application for financing and scheduled an appointment to sign that I knew nothing about nor did it fit my work schedule. I received a reminder call from a female and after explaining I had not scheduled an appointment, she told me it wasnt that far from my home and didnt see why I couldnt make it in to sign for my vehicle. WHAT vehicle? I later received a phone call from management explaining that the salesman stated he and I werent seeing eye to eye and he couldnt work with me. I had no intention of being pushed into a vehicle I didnt select nor desire to own! If you are NOT a decision maker, that salesman will certainly make all your decisions for you!
My husband and I have busy schedules and recently had my car of 10 years fall apart on us. We arrived at your dealership on a Sunday at 6:00 pm and expected the office to be closed; we just planned to walk around and look at options on our own. To our surprise, the dealership remained open to speak with customers. We were paired up with Shannon Jones and received incredible service. He stayed until 8:30 pm to go out of his way to assist us in our search. He is sincere, open, knowledgable, and not overbearing. We were so comfortable with his advice and guidance that we ended up buying a new car!Shannon also went above and beyond to help me get a complimentary rental car while my new car is having leather seats installed. The most impressive car buying experience Ive ever had.Thank you Shannon!Kelly Bryan
I was in the market for a new car after my 2006 Toyota was no longer meeting my safety needs. Coughlin Pataskala was recommended to me by work colleagues, so I contacted the dealership and made arrangements to test drive a Chevy Tahoe. However, upon arriving at the dealership, and seeing that the Tahoe would not meet my specific needs (seating size, towing capacity, and safety standards), the sales staff and inventory manager guided me towards the Chevy Traverse. They let me test drive that as well, and spent more than two hours answering my questions and showing me the ins/outs of the vehicle, working within my financial budget, and Pete S. even bought my 4-year old (who was with me) a snack out of the vending machine! I felt fully supported and never pressured, and this was important to me as a female without much car buying experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and prompt over the next few days while working to find the specific Traverse I was in need of. I am so happy with my purchase and cannot recommend Coughlin enough. The experience was great.
I am not only extremely please with the repair as it looks as good as new, the clean up on the vehicle was better than I would have ever expected. Duane went above and beyond to make sure I was kept in the loop on what was going on with the vehicle as well. This is not the first time I have used their repair shop and I will continue to recommend them to others. I will also use them in the future, however I am hoping that I will not have to ever again.
I just bought a truck from this location and it was, by far, the nicest car buying experience Ive had. The salesman, Jake, sales manager, Shannon and the finance guy, Eli were incredibly helpful and cooperative. My wife and I drove over 4 hours through the snow from near Pittsburgh, Pa to see a particular vehicle they had and it was totally worth the effort. A big Thank You to the staff here in Pataskala for a job well done, and for a great deal on a beautiful Silverado as well.
I’d like to give this a higher rating but unfortunately I can’t because of the manager of the dealership. The service department was incredibly helpful & did everything they could for me & my car in it’s terrible state, but the manager/actual dealership were awful. Bought my car there about 6 months ago, turns out it has some kind of defect causing a large number of issues that the dealership refused to take any blame for, knowing they sold me the car in bad condition at full price. If it wasn’t for the wonderful men in the service department I would have ended up paying thousands to fix this car.
I purchased a 2019 Ford Fusion SE from Coughlin last month, and I absolutely love it. Corey was the sales rep I worked with, and he was friendly, honest and really worked with me on the details to make a great deal by finding all incentives and other offers that could apply. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and willing to help, but Corey made the car buying experience as enjoyable as possible. Im glad to have found a local dealership I can trust!
I tried to do some business with this dealership. They had two corvettes that particularly piqued my interest. I couldn’t get Taylor or rick to return a phone call or email. I actually set a day to fly in to see the cars a week in advance. When I called and emailed to confirm the car availability, neither of them returned a call or responded to my email for three straight days. I guess the car business must be really good. Ultimately they saved me some money. I found a similar car at another dealer for A LOT less!
No one has EVER put in more time searching for their first new Corvette than have I. A literal lifetime of dreaming of this day culminated in a 6 month long search. Since I was willing to travel ANYWHERE for the car, I searched dealers all over the country. Obviously, I was impressed with what seemed to be unbelievable deals at some of the internet sites, but these prices faded when I was hit with HUGE undisclosed fees. One dealers low price was based on them adding a doc fee of $899.00, a new title fee of $499.00 and a wheel lock fee of $399.00. Frustrated by what I saw as less than ethical treatment, I returned to Rick (at Coughlin Chevrolet) who I had spoken with earlier in my search. On Monday of this week I closed the deal on my new 2019 Stingray over the phone. Yesterday I picked it up and it was EXACTLY what I expected it to be. The transaction went smooth, my interest rate was far better than I expected and Rick was friendly and helpful. Also, a shout out to Eli in the finance department. He was professional and a true pleasure to deal with. Additionally, the inventory at Coughlin is vast and the cars are well selected. Every Corvette is special, but Rick does an outstanding job of filling his lot with very desirable color/option combinations. In short, it really means nothing to me where you buy your new Corvette, but it could mean a lot to you. If you buy one without talking to the good folks at Coughlin you will probably pay too much and you will certainly miss the opportunity to work with some great people. Thanks Rick and Eli...I hope its not another 60 years before I get my next new Corvette from Coughlin!
Great Experience. Shannon made it so easy to purchase a new car. He took his time, answered all my questions and was very patient. I never felt like I was being pressured. I will definitely be coming back to purchase my next vehicle. Thanks Shannon! Thanks Coughlin Pataskala!
Bought a car from Coughlin of Pataskala a couple months ago and must say it was a very pleasant experience. Where as a lot of dealerships I went to didnt want to help me finance a vehicle, Keith helped me find a bank that would. He was very helpful without being too overbearing. I appreciated that. I wanted to wait a while before reviewing the dealership and I feel the same way I did 3 months ago, a happy and satisfied customer. I dont know how many people I have told about Coughlin since my purchase...several. I will definitely be getting my next vehicle from here! Thanks Keith!
I came here after having a poor experience at Krieger Ford. The Coughlin Service team was amazing - especially Terra. She really went above and beyond. My car runs like new and it’s because she worked hard (along with her techs) to make sure everything was done correctly. I will be Coughlin customer for life!
I have never enjoyed buying a car as much as buying my Corvette from Rick Conti. No games honest answers, good deal. Even picked me up from the airport. Rick knows Corvette better than anyone Ive ever met, he makes an active effort to be trained on the cars by the very engineers that designed it. He knows ALL the ins and outs of ordering the car in any spec you want and can find ways to get you the car at a cheaper price by mixing packages and options. No high pressure extended warranty push from Eli either. The way car buying should be, fun satisfying, and enjoyable. My next Corvette will only be from Rick.I returned a week later for a software update and they we almost waiting at the door for me at my appt time , 1hr later I was on the road again, never had service that good before. If youre not buying from Rick at Coughlin youre doing it wrong.
My salesman, Scott E, was amazing in helping me find a car! However!... Buyers be aware! Make sure they have the title IN THEIR POSSESSION BEFORE YOU SIGN ANY PAPERS!!!! 8 weeks later & on 2nd temporary tag... Im still waiting... They said it was the car finance company dropping the ball but no one from Coughlin was on top of of until I lost my patience. IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL A CAR UNLESS THE TITLE OR TITLE MEMO IS IN THEIR NAME! Period. When this gets taken care of then well see if my mind changes.Update 8/20Heather in the title department was able to finally get it taken care of. And my salesman Scott E, personally brought it to my house to make sure I received it in a timely manner. Thank you Heather & Scott!
I had a appointment to take my truck in a 915am on a Friday. Didnt hear anything all day Fri. Sat came and I still didnt hear anything. I called for them to tell me no one ever looked at my truck and the person they had assigned to it was not working until Monday. I am very displeased. So my truck never got fixed as it was supose to.
Scott in the service department went above the normal measures to get my car repaired, Steve in parts was informative and thorough. Cant say enough about this service department they far exceeded my expectations. Courteous and and kept me informed through the process. Thanks so much
They will sell you a car and never repair it. Youll need to call in about 7-8 times to schedule a repair, Ive done this for each appointment Ive made. Ive went in five times for two issues and they never resolved them. I had to take my new truck to another dealership to get the warranty issues repaired. If you are buying a vehicle please choose another dealership, all the cars are the same but the service isnt.
I went to coughlin to look at a replacement honda. With no intention of buying that day. Jake Flynn was super nice and never once pressured me into a sale, Which was important ad i had just come from a different dealership who credit checked me and had a contract in front of me within minutes and i had to get out of there. i left with the honda civic SI that day (fully expecting to not have a car) at coughlin and i couldnt be more happy with the car and the entire buying process, they were patient and willing to work with me. Brian their finance guy that i did paperwork with was also super nice, and wasted no time to get me in and out driving my new baby. Would definitely recommend this dealership to friends.
Dale Chapman sold me my first brand new car. The service there is excellent. It was not only him, but everyone in the building was extremely great. The flow and process of purchasing was so easy and they made it as affordable as possible for me. There were no surprises, no gimmicks, everything was just straight up, nice, and respectful. It is a great place to look for cars. Not only did they not have the car I wanted in stock, BUT brought it down from one of their dealerships 50 miles away the NEXT DAY. So happy with my experience.
We recently leased a 2020 Chevy Blazer from Coughlin Chevrolet in Pataskala. As the Blazer was being used as a demo vehicle it had a few things that needed to be addressed. Most importantly, the driver side mirror did not come in far enough for my wife to use. The Coughlin team of John Riley, Shannon Jones and Nicki West took every measure to ensure the vehicle was serviced back to New state including replacement of a perfectly matched mirror. We have used Coughlin Pataskala for 100% of our vehicle purchase and service needs for the last 15+ years due the service, treatment and overall experience with each and every transaction. This was the 14th vehicle that our family has purchased or leased from Coughlin Pataskala and we will continue to take our business there based on the consistent service and treatment we have received from the entire team at Coughlin Pataskala.
To have a salesmen spout ignorant “facts” about wearing masks and then sit in between customers in the waiting area not wearing a mask is unacceptable.Personally you should let this salesman go! No excuses! And I’m sure you know who this was! He was the only one in the whole shop NOT wearing a mask.
Rick Conti, was an extremely honest, straight forward, open, and communicative representative. He guided me through the process of ordering my car and the car was delivered as I wanted it. He even went above and beyond my expectations when he delivered the car to me and explained everything I needed to know to personalize the car specifically for me. Working with Rick was an amazing experience and I have recommended him to my friends and family.
Thanks To Coughlin Family! The service we received was, as always, excellent! We were treated like family.Updated about all portions of repair and asked for approvals prior to any work being completed. They helped us with a rental as we have a Heating business, 1 boy and one toddler so we need to stay mobile. When Coughlin fixes our truck I know my wife is safe, my Family is safe!
I just bought the 2020 Chevy 1500 RST... Let me start off by saying, I had a great experience with Jason Payne as my salesman. He knew that I was a straight to the point type of person and didnt try to disguise anything. Thanks for the hard work you put into my deal.
Found a vehicle i was interested in online. I spoke with a customer service rep where I shared that I had a number of questions for the sales staff. Could not get a call or email back from someone on the sales team. After a phone call and multiple emails with the customer service rep and a week has come and gone ill take my business elsewhere. Terrible!... 8/17/20 - unless that communication is coming through mail - i disagree.
I had trouble with the Michelin pilot sports 3 plus tires, that I purchased from Coughlins, when I bought my 2018 Corvette stingray new. 3 of them failed on sidewall near rim. All at different times, no potholes, 6000 miles. After much confusion from first service writer. Coughlins and Michelin replaced them all with Pilot sport 4S tires for only 6% of retail price. I want to recognize Tristan the new service writer for every thing she did to make my corvette safe for my family.
I have purchased trucks here three times, 2008, 2015, and 2017. Each time, they were fair, honest, and efficient. This last time, I went to pick up the truck I ordered. I gave all of my financing info to the salesman and I was only there for less than an hour before leaving with my new truck.
This is the second Corvette I have purchased from Rick Conti. Rick has made the purchase as easy as possible in these trying times. Have never waited over a year for a car before. Rick kept me informed as to progress and sometimes lack of progress. I would not hesitate to buy from Rick again.
Spoke to Jerry in parts about tires for my 2007 Corvette Z06. He seemed irritated the whole time I was on the phone with him. Bad day? Who knows. Nonetheless no one spending a $1,000 wants to deal with an attitude. I then ask if they can price match TireRack or Costco and he said no. GM dealerships are supposed to price match authorized sellers such as those two. The tires were Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. Jerry said it would cost me $1471 through them... Tire Rack quoted me at $1,220. Jerry also thought it was my job to have the part number for the tires because he was to lazy to type in Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 275/35zr18 and 325/30zr19. Customers aren’t required to find the part number for him... It’s disappointing to write this review because the guy who dealt with corvette parts before was super nice, but apparently quit. The dealership may want to get this figured since they specialize in Corvettes...

2021-10-26Kevin gave me outstanding customer service! He took the time with me to go over all the new features on the 21 Silverado High Country! Best dealership I have dealt with in a long time! We will definitely be back in the future!

2022-06-02Took my vehicle in because the right rear tire was losing air. They said it had a nail in the side wall and couldn’t be repaired. I requested to put two new tires on the rear and change the oil as I was driving back to Florida. They had to order the tires and said to bring it back tomorrow. I dropped it off at 7:00 am on Wednesday June 1st. I got a text saying it was ready for pickup around 2 pm. I paid in full and jumped in the vehicle and drove it back to where I was staying approximately 2 minutes from the dealership. The low air warning light did not come on. We were busy and I left the vehicle there and we went about our days activities. We got back home and I jumped in my vehicle and the low warning light was on. I got out and took a closer look at the rear tires and realized that those were my original tires and they hadn’t been changed. I had to go back the next morning and leave the car again, the service department manager seemed as baffled as I was as to why the tires hadn’t been changed. At that point I questioned weather the oil had been changed. There was no oil sticker in the upper left corner of the windshield. They jumped on it and I had two new tires and a oil change done and picked the car up an hour or so later. There needs to be a check and balance policy in place to insure that the work that the mechanic says is done , actually was done!

2022-03-17Rick is, in my book, the best there is. He knows more about the Corvette C8 than most any other dealer in the entire country. He puts in a hundred hours of effort a week, both on the job and off, just to give us information and service about our new cars purchased via Rick. My past dealers for my C7s and previous C8s have had to read the owners manual to even adjust setting. Rick knows his stuff. He is a Corvette Guy. And we love him for this.Nick Hall2022 C8 buyer from RickMarch 2022PS: Give him my best and extend a special Thank You to him.We are lucky to have him.

2021-12-11I took my new truck in for service Dec, 2021, and I was very happy with my experience. I called and the scheduler found a early appointment for me within a week of my call. The waiting area is nice and comfy. The lady who I worked that day with wonderful too. I was in and out too quickly, as I could have spent another hour drinking my coffee and surfing the inter-web. Thank you so much for taking care of my little truck!

2022-06-19I was interested in to purchase the 2019 Lexus ES 350 I put a hold deposit to secure the car which I did. I was working with Carl Grimm. For some reason I canceled the porches and I changed my mind.I called Carl Grimm and I did request the refund he did with while Im in the phone and he did the refund right a way with out any pressure and this really rare and hard to find a good dealer dealing like this. He even lowered the price, but I didn’t agree to it and Im still thinking to reconsider it.

2022-06-02Worst service dept Ive ever been to. I schedule and simple sensor fix for the tire pressure display. I was quoted $70.00 for sensor and $30 for labor at one hour install. One and a half hours later it was $150. Extra $50 was special parts fee(aka the tools to do this job). I asked since Im paying extra for these obvious state of the art extra special part tools why it took a half hour longer. To no surprise they had no answer but the standard issue dealership answer sorry about your wait. Never again will I recommend this dealership.

2022-07-01The personal was fine. Im not sure I needed an oil change. I had only put 3,000 miles on it since the last oil change. They called me to come in for oil change stating that one was due.The car is a 2020 and only has 6,400 miles on it. How often does the car need oil changed. They said it was to soon to rotate tires, not to soon for oil change????

2022-06-29I drove an hour and a half to this dealership, was told the car was available, ready for me to purchase and no one was coming to buy it other than me. I get there and Im told the manager sold it to a local instead of me 15 minutes before I arrived. 3 hours of driving and gas for absolutely nothing. The sales lady apologized profusely, but the manager said absolutely nothing to us. Super nice lady, but talk about an awful manager. Never coming back here, Ill stick with the good dealerships I know, and wait for more stock of these cars to come in.

2022-03-31If you are in the market for a new car might I recommend NOT going to Coughlin Chevrolet Pataskala. I went today to look at a specific truck listed on their website and to get a trade in value on my car. Turns out the vehicle was sent to auction and the website was not updated, which is totally fine. The problem began when I explained to the saleswoman, Bethany, that I wanted a specific type of truck/SUV (larger and lower miles, but can be older) and she proceeded to explain to me that it would be impossible to find and that I should just purchase a vehicle there. There was a vehicle at another location I was thinking about going to look at and she looked at me and said “well then I don’t get the commission”. Mind you, I made it clear that I don’t need a new vehicle, I am just looking to maybe get a cheaper vehicle while on maternity leave. She then explained to me how financing a car works as if I knew nothing (I’m an accountant and own a financed vehicle). After her spiel, she sent her manager, Shannon, over who told me I should return with my husband when I have a better understanding of the vehicle I want and my price range.

2022-05-27I got my car from there that I am buying I had it for one month and it started to over heat. So I had on and out of the dealership to be fixed. Then I was told that I had to have a new engine put in it. So I was given a rental car and sent on my way. Well I was back and forth several times because they were selling the cars that I was driving while I was waiting for my engine to come in which took months. Then it finally came in they got it put in and I was able to go and finally pick up my car. I get my car that has a brand new engine in it and the very same day I picked it up the engine light came on. I text the salesman who sold it to me and, I was told to bring it back in when I could get it back there. I am not a happy customer right now. I have never had this many issues with the dealership before.
