Its nothing more than a bandaid station. My sister spent three hours here for unknown bleeding just to not get seen even after she was sent by her doctor. Kept telling her they were getting her room ready and yet let people in after her before she even got a room. She left. I wouldnt trust this place to save anyone. Its now gotten worse and she refuses to go back because of how horrible your people are.
ER Doctor told my mom its because of people like you that this (covid19) keeps going on and wont end Basically blaming my sick mother for covid19. He gave her two angry, loud, lectures, and wouldnt even look at her while he did it.He then refused to give her life-saving treatment (monoclonal antibodies) and told her There are people here worse than you so go home and ride it out.I know someone inside, who said they could have easily admitted her, there was no reason from this persons point of view that they didnt. Two days later I take her to Riverside in Columbus because she couldnt breathe. They immediately admitted her for several days. The doctors were FURIOUS that Coshocton did not give her life-saving monoclonal antibodies. They said it was too late now. She had covid-pneumonia.So, either the rude ER Doctor is inept as his job, or purposely refused to give her life saving treatment because she wasnt vaccinated. Either way, this place needs to be SUED for medical malpractice.AVOID this place if you have covid. Go to Riverside if you develop difficulty breathing. Coshocton will, apparently, send you home to die..EDIT: Also, I failed to mention the rude nurse who SLAMMED her drawer on her desk shut and ROLLED HER EYES at my mom when she refused the vaccine while at the hospital sick with covid and said Well, youre braver than I am!. The CDC says DO NOT get the vaccine if you are currently ill.My mom was great, didnt argue, just sat there and endured the treatment while struggling to breath.
My father went here, first, for severe pain in his arm. Once they ruled it wasnt a heart attack, they shipped him off to another hospital in the area. After he returned home, he went in for an ultrasound to check for additional issues since his normal physician found markers of his cancer returning in his blood. The tech saw he was in extreme pain, and found a small blood clot, so sent him to the ER. The ER doctor treated him HORRENDOUSLY, stating immediately that he was not going to get any narcotics for pain relief and that theyve seen him here before. My father is dealing with unknown issues that have been documented at the hospital before, also with a possible return of his cancer, and he was treated like a drug seeker? It is obvious that his medical records were not even glanced at before the accusations started. Absolutely disgusting.
I went to the ER and saw Rachelle Stevens for an ear ache. She told me I had swimmers ear and prescribed me ear drops antibiotics and oral antibiotics. She said my ear was very saturated and inflamed, that it was not earwax buildup. Thus, I was to not put hydrogen peroxide in it like I did before. Well, I got home and took the ear drops and they made me deaf in the affected ear. I called the ER back because theyre not supposed to do that and all that was said was to stop taking the drops. No offer to look at my ear again, or telling me to follow up with someone to have it looked at again. I was in even more pain after my prescriptions and I was DEAF in that ear, so I went to rapidcare to see what they could do (I also like second opinions, always). What do they tell me? It is ear wax buildup and I had to get my ear flushed with hydrogen peroxide and water... I did that. It worked, I could hear again and see my wax that came out. Then, the doctor looked aty ear again and told me I had swimmers ear AND and a middle ear infection. I was not told this at the ER. I know people are human and make mistakes, but I am also concerned that people are not doing their job (a very important job)correctly. So, I would not recommend CCMH.Update: Turns out I did have Swimmers ear, plus something else was wrong with my ear that I dont remember, exactly ... Sorry, Rachelle. And thank you Dr. Randall Labaki who I saw at Urgent Care.
Family Physician referred me to Physical Therapy at CRMC as a result of severe lower back pain. Therapists Bluck & McDonald were both outstanding, caring and professional. I highly recommend the entire Physical Therapy Team as Im now pain free and back to my activities of daily living.Words cant express my gratitude for the Physical Therapy Team
This hospital misdiagnosed my cancer and I swore I would never go there again but my mom was admitted so I had to visit her. Never again! My mom will not go back and the nurse was so rude I had to leave before I went to jail because I was so mad. I reported her to the nursing supervisor but Im sure nothing will be done because I read the reviews of the other rude employees there. And the only reason I gave a 1 star is because there isnt a 0 star I wouldnt even take my dog to this hospital!
This place is a joke. Stay home and get medical advice from YouTube before you try to go get medical help from these people. I would give them - 5 stars if it was possible. Theyre slow, uneducated, rude, arrogant, and cause more problems than they have the collective wisdom to fix. I wish they would close the and make the world a safer place.
I had x-ray done on my knee and the wait was not long but they had no bed side manner. I was in an awkward position and no one offered to help me off the table. I think they can take a min. to be friendly instead of cold. Someday it maybe them and they will want someone to be comforting. Most of the time I go to Zansville and they are totally different, very sweet and helpful so I go there for my yearly mamogram because I need someone who cares and they do.
They saved my life.....Last Sept during the pandemic I had very severe lower abdomen pain I had been to Genesis ER 7 different times asking for help I had been sick for over a month but because I also have panic attacks they treated me like a drug seeker and told me theres nothing wrong and not to come back I only live a mile away here in Zanesville but still very sick I went to Coshocton Regional and they admitted me right away I had a very bad intestinal infection and was almost septic They kept me 8 days I have Colitis and was very sick I stayed in ICU all that time Everyone there from the ER to the cleaning staff who were in my room every day were the greatest people I ever met The Doctors/Nurses staff were all awesome Without there help and treatment I would have died I can never say enough to Thank them for all they did for me and there excellent care Thank you Coshocton Regional Medical Center!..........Allen Dusablon
Poor service and care. Treatment needed for dehydration yet it took hours to get an IV started. Delay in treatment. Not one nurse or doctor asked what meds she was on, medical history, or anything! Doctor would not even fully listen why she was there. I dont understand why there are call lights. No one answers them.
Thank you to the E.R. employees who was working the night of 6/15/18. I was on my way walking from Akron to Cincinnati when the snow and cold became to much so I walked to the hospital and they made sure I had coffee and something to eat and a blanket treated with very good respect. You guys are awesome☺Joseph Banks
They totally suck at reading mammogram results...they told me my mammograms were clear for over 2 yrs but a month before i had my last mammogram my cancer dr in dublin found cancer in my lymph nodes n its stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my lymph node but at coshocton i was told my mammogram was clear...how can it be clear when its already stage 4 cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes??? Thank God my cancer dr knows how to do his job cause these people sure dont!
Just came back from the ER and i went in with very severe pain that i had been in for weeks and it had recently gotten worse and when i came out i was in severe pain and in TEARS! Since when is the er for life threatening cases only? this is what the dr. that looked at me told me. i felt bad enough from the pain and then to be dismissed like i was wasting his time, which by the way couldnt have been even 10 min. literally, he prescribed me a pill that is a muscle relaxant that i told at least one or two others before i saw him that i wasnt suppose to take according to my regular dr. because i have been severely enimic .and how does he know if my pain wasnt from a life threatening problem? and by the way if my life is ever in a life threatening way i will never go or call and ambulance to go the coshocton er or the hospital in general. because i would rather die in the comfort of my own home then to be subjected to that kind of insignificance by a dr or anyone else at coshocton memorial. p.s. on the release form i signed to be discharged it gave this particular drs name but it didnt even have dr. after or before and actually anywhere near his name so how do i know he wasnt the janior? if to do over i would have preferred the janitor.
Went there for an eye injury in 2017 from a move into a new house got the physicians bill Bill a month or so afterwards but just this year I got the hospital part of the bill I asked for 75% off my bill but only would give me 20% at the finance department will not seek treatment here again and I got that hospital bill back in April or something that happened in February of 2017 really disgraceful it shouldnt take that long to get a bill back and its disgraceful that the bill came from out of state I shouldnt have to pay my bill at all for how long it took to get the hospital part of the bill this stunt is unacceptable
RUDE. RUDE. RUDE.MY FIANCE WAS IN HAVING AN ULTRASOUND AND OUR 7 YEAR OLD HAD TO USE THE RESTROOM AND WE HAD MASKS ON AND EVERYTHING BUT THEY WOULDNT LET HIM GO AND WAS VERY RUDE ABOUT IT.AND THE BAD THING ABOUT IT I WAS JUST HERE FOR TESTS LAST WEEK AND THEY LET HIM THEN.

2022-03-17Just wanted thank the lab department at the 311 building for opening up at 6:55 am for me. With my work schedule I wouldnt be able to make it in until 5:00 pm or after and if Im not mistaken youre closed at 4:30. So very much appreciated. I work with individuals with disabilities and they do not adjust to change very well. So my work schedule staying the same is important to them and myself. Again thank you.

2022-02-20Front desk staff was rude in the emergency wing. Mistreated me when I telling them personal info they asked for. Then when i got stitches under my finger the doctor who did it completely did it wrong and i am pretty lucky i still can move my finger around at all. If you have patience with this all. Still I wish you good luck with this band aid factory.

2022-02-03If you want to spend your time sitting in pain for two hours just to get some x-rays then absolutely this is the best place for you. There was only one whole other patient(because its 1 am), and it took the staff thirty minutes just to come get us into a room. Ridiculous service, would give 0 stars if I was able. Save your time and money and avoid this place at all costs.

2022-02-20Went to the ER on October 1st. Had Diverticulosis. All they did was start an IV and gave me fluids. Took some blood work and I had a CT scan. I was there for about 2 hours. They have charged over 12,000$ for this. I have been billed separately for both the attending DR. and the Radiologist. Never have I seen so much greed and profiting on sickness and death. This medical facility should be ashamed.

2022-05-13My husband,(who is a CRMC employee), had a FNA yesterday and I want to express my thanks to the very kind and competent RNs,the ultrasonographer, and Dr Dean,(Radiologist) for the excellent care he received. His comfort was was made a priority and as an RN myself,I was very pleased to have a professional RN staff caring for my husband,(a rarity in todays severely understaffed hospitals.) There was a comforting normalcy in the facility. No one seemed afraid of caring for patients or interacting with the accompanying family. Ive been in many,(many!) Ohio hospitals and was impressed with the level of care I observed. (Also, the hospital is super clean! Nice job!) Thank you, again, for making the most important person in my life your priority.

2022-01-29This has been awful. If I could I would give them a NEGATIVE rating. A home health nurse messed up my dads catheter. She told us to go to ER. He arrived at 4. It is now 10 pm. He has not had ANY OF HIS MEDICATION SINCE 11 AM. HE HAS NOT ATE SINCE 11 AM. My mom is with him. They are both 85 and she has heart issues. He has stage 4 parkinsons. This has been a nightmare. The next time we need help with the catheter we are going to GENESIS. THIS IS NOT HIS FAULT. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE COME HERE. NEVER.

2021-11-23Very rude disrespectful doctor . Was in with my 1 year old son and within 5 minutes they had him swabbed for covit. Didnt see anybody for hour and half . Then doctor comes in asking did they give him his treatment . I asked what cause nobody told me anything what he has and what were doing . He was a foreign doctor with a mask I could barely understand and he says are you from around here or why cant you understand English and walks out the door . He wanted to send me home but a very kind nurse said we have to get transported . 5 days later Im still at nationwide childrens hospital in Columbus and he has rsv . Doctor in Coshocton wanted to send me home . Worth the drive to Columbus . They get a 10 star ⭐ . Coshocton dont go low enough on stars
