Bad. Everything Everywhere! Fairly new store, but It was a mess! I had to move items in order to get what I needed. Items on the floor, couldnt get down some isles! No Stars Here! Had to use 1 star in order to Post.
It seems like Everytime I go in this place its an absolute mess. Always stuff everywhere and all over the floors. I get that people come in an throw stuff on other shelfs or kids throw stuff on the floor but last 2 times Ive went was early afternoon sir theres no excuse for it. Someones going to fall and get hurt. Plus it makes it look like some run down store.
If you are a present or past employee of this Dollar General or ANY dollar General. Know your rights. It is illegal for your supervisor or manager to request or require you to do any work off the clock! If you have worked off the clock. You need to contact your corporate office and an attorney! I will not be coming back to this Dollar General! I know of several people who have been told to do work off of the clock. And when it was taken to Denise the area manager it was ignored. When it was taken to corporate office Denise and Sara retaliated! Sara doesn’t know the first thing about how to talk to people or how to treat people. And neither does Denise. A couple of the most unprofessional human beings there are. I recon to Jim the regional manager to look at the problems that are ongoing. High turn over! You can’t keep hell at this location. The store aisles are always a mess and a hazard to public safety! You think there isn’t a problem? 4 general managers in a year not to mention the numerous cashiers and assistant managers that have come and gone. If you can see where your problem is; and it’s obvious! You don’t deserve my business! I’m urging everyone on the west end of Marion Ohio to Boycott dollar general on Bellefontain Ave. show these greedy jerks that we stand together that it is WRONG to expect anyone to work off the clock! It’s unethical and illegal. There are labor laws for a reason!
I was just in here. Line all the way to the isles. One register open. Took me about 15min to check out. Finally get to the register, and the clerk is visibly high. Ask him to load money on my green dot card, and he has no idea where it is, or how to do it. I tell him nevermind because theres 10 people behind me. Every time I go here they are stocking something. Carts of stuff blocking isles. I hope corporate sees this and fires everyone and starts over because thats what its gonna take.
This store is an absolute wreck. Its always messy the shelves are always in disarray. Im not sure if it a staff problem or they are always so busy. But they sure seen understaffed. Although the staff are friendly and helpful.
The store itself isnt bad, but the parking lot, and area right in front if the store were disgusting. Garbage all over the place, cig butts littered the door area. Just very sad to see since it wasnt like that when I lived on that side of town
It really doesnt tell you where certain things are such a snacks and such. Bottom line its well organized but doesnt tell the customers how its organized. They also have at least one thing in stock that I need when I go either
I would make it higher except some of the isles were full of boxes and you couldnt get by. They should of have more people to help to put away stock instead of 1 person. Plus it was hard to move around because other isles was cluttered.

The people who work in this store seem to be nice. The store itself is trashed. There is merchandise setting everywhere in carts in isles blocking the way. This has to be the most unorganized Dollar General I have ever seen. I will not be back.
Reasonable prices like any dollar general but this store seems to be really out of order. Stuff sitting in the middle of isles. Over stocked shelves stuff falling on the floor as a result.
Not happy Lee store shelves look like they just throwed stop on the shelf was a mess of most of things I wanted asked the lady that worked there where the items were she told me what isle the item should be located in There was none there . She asked if I found everything and I said no she said they were probly still in the totes in the back cause she had no help stocking shelves Hard to sell items if you dont have products on the shelves for people to buy . Was very disappointed in the store We Shop that store quite a bit was very disappointed had to go across town to Family Dollar to buy the items I needed
It was better than it was ! It was cleared up, nothing on the floor, shelves wall stocked. No catrs setting in the iles!
The store was busy and had stock everywhere getting ready for the holidays. Was helped from a worker with finding my items. Great attitude.
The store is well stocked and staffed but due to high traffic sometimes there can be a line at certain times of the day, especially in the early evening.
Unfortunately, the aisles were difficult to navigate due to excessive amounts of product on carts throughout the store. I am hopeful that my next visit will be a better experience.
I love Dollar General cuz usually they have what I need...the only thing I find bad service n is waiting n a long line with only one cashier.Not always though...
The Main st. location is always under staffed or staffed with employees that wont budge to assist customers. On any given day or time there is ALWAYS a line of customers. It is sad when you wait in line longer than the time it takes you to shop.
Packed with boxes with almost all dollar generals the one on belfountain ave has boxes everywhere and the clothes are scattered everywhere girls with boys clothes and baby clothes not in a location that is easy to go thru
This store is trashy you cant go up and down the aisles they dont put stuff away their employees are rude the only reason I give it one star is because you cant post without it
Don’t waste your time trying to get a job here. I have been waiting a month now and the manager has been waiting for the same 4 people to get a background check on. They won’t even send out mine and here it is a month later and still nothing, not even an interview.

2022-01-22I shop here all the time. Usually I do not have a problem, but tonight my children and I Went in thereAnd the music was so loud That my children could not hear me And I had to practically yell inside the store to talk to my children And the same with them.Then when I was at the register trying to check out and the cashier had room repeatedly ask if I wanted my pops left out. I answered her each time. I asked her why the music was so loud and she either ignored me, or was unable to hear me because she just said have a nice night. I love to listen to music, but when your inside of a store, you should be able to hear each other talk without yelling at one another. I was there around 630 pm on January 22. Usually this does not happen.

2019-06-05Dollar General stores are ok. They seem to be in every small town anymore. I guess they do have quite a bit of stuff to offer. Stopped in here for ice cream. Not sure it said 3 for $5, but rang up $2. Beers prices are state minimum, so thats decent. I noticed this location added a Redbox, which is now convienent for me, saves a longer trip across town.

2021-03-06Yikes! This place is always a mess, carts of stock almost always sitting around waiting to be put up, leading to items appearing yo be out of stock. Customer service is good if you are lucky to get 2 select employees. Bathroom is usually clean and stocked.

2019-09-16They need help extremely bad its a busy place and theres way to much stock to put away wait on customers and face everything they nee at least 4 people 2 for stock and facing and 2 for register and if its slow they all can do stock the clothing needs to be cut way back to much back stock!!!!!!!! I feel so sorry for the workers! Sincerely,Diana Murphy I go in the store almost every day and its the same situation I love the group of people who work there but they dont have enough help to get it done!

2021-01-17I went to the Dollar General on Belfontaine Ave.ir know as 739 the girl embarrassed me in front of other customers, she didnt know how to put my check through,she said shevwas the manager. I thought to myself if your manager, you need retrained. So I left and went to Dollar General on 95 the girl rang me up ,put my check through no problems. I will continue going there but I will never go to the one on 739,so my 5 star goes to the store on 95 because she knew what to do snd was very professional.

2019-05-26Today was a great experience at Dollar General. I have been upset in the past because of carts in the middle of the isles. I couldnt get around in the store. Today was different. Even the shelves were neat and straightened.

2019-05-20My card was scammed at this store and I called, spoke to a manager and it was like oh well so I called the corporate # and they too acted as if it was no big deal. I wont be shopping at Dollar General stores if this is how they follow up on a customers complaint regarding their card readers. I know I was taken and I explained if I was, there was probably others and manager acted like she was unaware of how someone could do that to the card reader. I feel very unprofessional for being in management.

2019-11-14This store on the west side of marion is one of the messiest. Products and clothing on the floors. Some aisles are impassable. 3 employees working. 2 were busy stocking, but no one cleaning things up. ☹

2020-10-31That store was nasty and dirty! Stuff all over the floor. Couldnt even get one of their small carts down the isles. I dont think I have ever seen this store in such shambles. I even saw customers walk out.
