Everytime Im in here for whatever reason they are always helpful and friendly. Ive never had an issue here. (I did have to get some emergency repairs downtown once and it was an awful experience with the staff all around.) This is my prime choice for oil changes just because of what a good job they always do.I had trouble with a flat tire some months back and they looked to see if it was repairable; it was not so they helped me pick new tires that were in my price range but also good for my vehicle. This past week I got a piece of metal in one of those tires that gave me a flat and they repaired it for free.The staff here is accommodating of requests and work with you to get what you need done. They are friendly and polite. The store is in good shape and is setup to wait for your vehicle if need be. Ive never been uncomfortable anytime Ive waited. They are quick to get what you need done. They also take the time to explain anything you need and answer any questions you might have. I avoid taking my car anywhere else; this is the best service you can get.
Setup an appointment online and dropped it off. Dave was very friendly and checked everything in for me. I asked them to check some other stuff and it was no problem. I got a text message with a link to a visual inspection of the car and brakes. Noticed a little problem with the brakes and notified me. Was not pushy at all to sell me new brakes. Also checked the alignment for me. Car was ready in about 2 hours. Not bad for tires and an alignment check. Dave was great upon pickup as well. Overall, I had a quick and great experience at this Conrad’s location. They seem to have the lowest tire prices for my vehicle as well. Thanks guys!
I came in from Minneapolis,MN to test drive a car. When I got here, I called Conrad’s to see if they could get me in for a used car inspection prior to purchasing. They not only got me in fast but were also thorough and detailed in the report. The staff were very friendly and easy to work with. I’m glad I gave them my business while I was in town!!
Went for an oil change and found out I needed front brakes.....had I been anywhere else but Conrad’s in Brunswick Ohio, I would have said I would look into it. However, they have always been people I trust...I said go ahead. No dealers for me. I have done business with them for many years and recommended them to everyone. Honest and explain everything....even sent me photos. Customer for life😉
Called to schedule appointment was able to get in the same day for an oil change. Both of the men at the service desk were polite and very helpful. Dropping off the car was simple and fast. Picking up the vehicle was a little bit of a wait, busy around 5 pm. This is the second time I have taken a vehicle in for oil change, same experience as last visit. I will continue to have oil changes and tire rotations.
Had a little difficulty with my appointment but hey, it’s not like it’s their fault that the tires I ordered online never were shipped. Ordered in the tires I needed from another store, they were delivered within a few hours and installed. Crisis averted. Great experience. Highly recommend.
The staff is extremely friendly and goes over all details of what is happening with my vehicle. The only drawback is the day I was scheduled to have my vehicle worked on was the same day they were having the drive paved. I wish they would have called ahead of time to make me aware of parking arrangements. This was also the longest it took for an oil change and tire rotation; I shouldn’t be there 1.5hrs.
It was just after 4:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon and my tire picked up something off the road and going flat fast. I was panicked but, I called Chris at Conrads who said bring it up... well get you in. Even though they were closing at 5:00 and had a line of work they were finishing up... they worked me in and repaired my tire! I am so grateful of their can do attitude that made me so impressed and grateful of their service. I will always be likely to go back to them and recomend this Conrads to others. Thank you Chris and team for your great service!
Salesman was great in helping me choose tires for my Corvette.After getting home and inspecting new tires,found greasy hand prints all over chrome wheels,door handle and inside arm rest.When they removed the old stick on weights,did not bother to remove old tape and glue from previous weights.On some wheels they used 12 small stick on weights which i think they could have used a combination of heavy and light to balance out.Upon further inspection i found that hey had inflated tires to 40# of air when it clearly states on the door and manual,30# when cold.I will not return for them to correct problems because I feel that if they were truly proffesionals,they woud have gotten it right the first time.Update: I took car to another tire shop who discovered the reason for all the extra weights was that the tire had a broken belt!To continue driving with this defect could have been extremely dangerous.Took it back to Conrads with new info.Ordered new tire and rebalanced using only 4 weights!
We were in town from about 3hrs away to buy a vehicle and wanted an outside source to give it a quick look over. Although they said they were extremely busy, Del took time to squeeze us in for a quick little inspection. Didnt even charge us anything for their time. We really appreciated their time and kindness!
I am a young female who went to get an alignment, when I left and returned to the road the alignment was still off, My steering wheel was upside down to make my tires straight. They then made me come back a week later to get out fixed no discount for my inconvenience or nothing and guess what it still is not right. People warned me not to go there I didnt listen because they are local, but they overcharged me for nothing maybe because Im a female. Horrible!
Well Conrads finally did it! Matt the new manager is amazing! truly brought back the trust for me to bring all my cars back to them... came in for tires and talked about an issue because he introduced himself to me and listened to what i had to say. All in all he said to me to come back and make sure I am treated the way I should have always been treated... he apologized for what happened a few months ago and that takes guts being new to the store. Thank you Matt and I look forward to being a conrads cusotmer again. The team looks great!
I got tires from Conrads and when they were putting on the tires there was apparently corrosion on the hub that prevented the tires from going on all the way. This caused me to lose a lug nut and almost a tire. When I brought it back they were super apologetic and understanding. They really went above and beyond fixing their mistake and making sure it never happened again. They even have me two oil changes and a gift card. They turned a potentially terrible experience into a great one.
We had not been customers of Conrads for some time for various reasons. I recently needed tires for my vehicle and decided to give them a a shot again... I was very pleased with the tires I purchased and the service I recieved from the staff so when it was time to look at tires for my wifes Sonata we automatically went there.Matt Lamb was excellent in his ability to steer us to the right tires for her car! Sooo... many reviews and confusion is out there about sooo... many tires and prices from sooo... many places! We bought with confidence and trust in our decision. The install was quick, actually FUN and we would recommend this Conrads for all of your vehicle needs.
They wanted to charge me $750 to replace my upstream oxygen sensor. I said no thanks, bought a sensor online for $150, watched a 10 minute youtube how-to video, and replaced the faulty sensor in under an hour.I also pulled over one of their employees doing 67mph in a 45mph zone while driving a customers car. Mechanic said he just put new tires on and was testing them out...he was issued a citation.
I had a semi flat tire on my way to work. Went to put air in and noticed that they had just opened for the day. Explained my problem and they worked me in quickly and courteously. I was back on the road in about 45 minutes. This is what keeps me a long term and loyal customer.
Dropped off the car off at 9 a.m. to get tires. Did not get car back until 5 that night. called several times during the day, first time I called was at 11:30, they told me they would start working on it right away. Called again at 3 OClock, still not done, told I would receive coupons for services, never received any coupons on pick up of my car. Very long day waiting around to get tires put on my car. I have gone to Conrads for many years, spend a lot of money and never had this kind of service. I will definitely think about going somewhere else next time.
The amount of time that I spent in the building was somewhat understandable. But the condition that the tire tech left my tires in isnt. Three of my tires were 7lbs under pressure and the new tire had 45lbs of pressure in it. And that was after he roared all four of them. So I fixed the tire pressure and realized all four of my steam covers were missing so I had to go buy new ones. This wasnt the first time he has done this but it will be the last.
Great service honest friendly staff. Very informative. We didnt know that maintenance is required for break fluid. We also receive free vehicle inspection & alignment check, Oil, air filter, & tire rotation. Took about an hour thirty minutes whe I waited. Acceptable time for work performed.
When Brunswick Jeep Automart said the soonest they could fit our 2017 Jeep in for a brake job was Jan 21 & it is Jan13th!!!! I called Conrad’s.They fit me in ASAP & even took me home while they worked on the car. They were nice guys, honest & efficient! Would go back in s minute!
My check engine light went on so I took it to Conrads they charged me $96 for an inspection fee and gas cap. Six days later my check engine light went on again and the same issue reoccurred and they wanted to charge me again for a test which they so called performed the first time. I talked to the manager and he wasnt helpful or understanding of the situation AT ALL. Needless to say I am not getting my car serviced here again due to poor car care and poor customer service.
Ive mentioned it before but I drive an 18 year old rust bucket and it tends to need much maintenance and TLC. Conrads is the best place to get your tires in Brunswick and that is no exaggeration. I bought 4 new tires for my truck for around $700 and Conrads supplied me with several free services just because I chose their tires. Their services are limited a lot of times and I can do much of the maintenance myself but the fellas at Conrads care enough about customer satisfaction that they will give you advice on what you need to do to keep your vehicle at its best
Amidst some fairly unexpected and tedius car problems, I have taken my car in to Conrads several times now over the course of several years. The staff is very friendly and personable, and I have never felt forced into making any unecessary purchases that arent actually eminent to the cars performance. The technicians will also talk to you directly as opposed to someone sitting at the front desk that may not even have much or any experience/knowledge on the subject matter at all whatsoever. Definitely reccomend this location as opposed to many haggling car shops.
Yesterday I decided I needed new tires. Well it hasnt even been a full 24 hours since my decision and I already had found, bought, and had installed 4 new tires on my car. Not to mention all on a Saturday! Dave was the person I dealt with at the shop and he has been there since he opened the store in 1985!
My husband had a slow leak in one of the tires purchased at the Brunswick location. Called & made an appointment to have it repaired. He went to the appointment the next day and waited for his tire to be repaired. They brought him his keys and said, Youre cars ready Mr. Norgrove. He went to the parking lot to find that they had literally SMASHED the back end of his Porsche Boxster in. And didnt say a word about it. He walked back in to the lobby and said, Hell No, this is NOT how I brought my car in!, to their reply of, What? My husband had to file a police report to get them to say they would repair the car. Fast forward 3 weeks (because thats how long it took to repair), now the engine blew. In a Porsche Boxster it is located in the back of the vehicle, where they damaged it, where they STILL have not offered an apology or anything. Thankfully we do have a police report.......and this will not be the last time they hear from us. BEWARE OF CONRADS!!!!
Stopped in today: was greeted by the fella behind the counter with a blank stare & frown for about 10 seconds, followed up by have an appointment which I did not, I was told they were all booked up for the day and didnt have time to fix the nail in my tire nor did they offer to put the spare on... I bought these tires at Conrads with road hazard and dropped about $700 on the whole mess about 18 months ago... It will be a long time before I spend $$ at conrads again, I can deal with being busy and backed up but, there is no excuse in this day and age for a customer service rep to have anything but, a friendly and accommodating attitude, I dont care how busy you are....
Went in for my regular oil change, after that was done, Ed came in with a list of things that could/should be done due to the age & mileage of the car. One of the things were broken sway bar links which was the cause of the constant rattling and bumping under my car for months. After giving the go ahead and a little bit of waiting, I have the most silent ride Ive haf in months (with exception for my exhaust). Ive been coming to this Conrads since I started driving and will continue to come here.
Terrible service, told me I had a nail in my tire, tried to sell me new ones, when I took it back they said there was no nail it wanted to charge me for taking the tire off per their recommendation several days earlier. I got an oil leak fixed less than 2 months ago, my car is leaking oil again, I took it back and they said there is no leak yet its dripping all over my driveway, I will not return for anymore service.
Really tired of this location and their lack of customer service.Treat most customers poorly, not responsive to suggestions and lack full communication on completed work; no phone call to indicate vehicle was complete.When you ask a question, it is returned with a poor attitude and response.Othrr locations are not like this one.
Worst service ever got charged for repairing a hole in my tire which they never found. But at quicklane they found a small nail with free of charge. Also conrads tried to make me spend more money on stupid things when i left the shop with a nail in my tire horriable service.

2022-06-04Over priced parts (this is a lot of places though). But when you charge $18 for a single lugnut?Should have been my first warning sign. Sadly I feel really dumb.Had a set of tires installed here specifically asked if they replace the vale stems, this was confirmed. They didnt replace them. Had to have my car gone another day to have them actually replaced.Fast forward... Balancing is included with tires for their lifetime. Took my car in for this and why not (my mistake) have them align it while it is there. They messed up the alignment by not properly aligning the steering wheel (a good 5 degrees off to the right) and also realigned my rear after finding spring damage. I requested only the front be aligned after the damage was found and the mechanic said that was fine.Conclusion they are overpriced, they dont care about what you say and they will fight you on a refund when you just want to take your car elsewhere.

2022-07-10I had a screw in my tire & stopped at Conrads hoping they could take 10 minutes to plug it. After driving 22 hours from Florida & pulling into the Conrads parking lot at 8am (open), they claimed they had a bunch of appointments that day & could not take time to plug it. We even offered to pay double the price, we were in desperate need to get home (20 more minutes). There were ZERO customers in the parking lot at that time. Very unprofessional & extremely unhelpful. Im glad I took my business elsewhere.

2022-03-08BEWARE parts are marked up 50%over .the cost of parts at autozone and store leader, Victoria is not accomadating or professional. receipt says you contact her If you are not 100% satisfied however she is rude and does nothing for customer satisfaction.i will never have sevices done here again

2021-09-09Took time out of a very busy afternoon to put air in my tire. Two days later when reprogramming the sensors, took the extra effort to stop the slow leak. Thoughtful. Helpful. Good job!

Had a very tight budget and they were able to work with me to get all of our vans issues resolved that would make the most impact.....and plans to work on the others as they come along, allowing payments to be made thanks to the Bridgestone credit applicaiton they have at the register!

2020-07-09We took our car in because it needed a brake job. My husband spoke with an employee and scheduled for a drop off. They looked at it, called my husband and quoted him a price, including any rebates or discounts. My husband said ok, but we couldn’t pay until the following week. The employee said fine. 2 days before picking up the car, the employee gave a different price, $150 more than quoted. Additionally, when my husband filled out the paperwork on what to look at, one was for them to do an oil change. Well they didn’t do one. They didn’t charge for it, but we had to take it to another place which cost us an additional $70 because we needed coolant and window washer fluid. Conrad recommended that we get a tune up and radiator flush, but we had to decline because we just had enough for the brakes. So when we are seeking for a tune up, we will definitely take our business elsewhere. We will never go back or recommend this place to no one.However, I do want to point out, they honored the quote, but I ended up paying more because they didn’t complete all that we asked for.
